DAY 40

1. Something completely unexpected happened: I went back to my half-finished studies and instead of weariness I felt fervour

This parisian blue+white gouache, reminiscent of Gotto, is dazzling!

It turns out the parisian blue, white (and the ivy green mixed from the two) gouache palette is not as disharmonic as it first seemed, if one restrains from using the saturated base colours. Adding whitened blue creates grey shades.

Mark/headstudy: after arriving home Mark revised the face.

3. Afternoon:
