he may get more opportunities outside of the group but he either won't take them because it's all too much for him or he'll do the work and get even more stressed. there's too much going on with him already, he doesn't feel ready to take on new work related things. there's also a lack of vision, he's not entirely sure what he wants to do with his career. there a few paths he can take but it's hard for him to choose and he doesn't feel particularly connected to any of them. i'm thinking of something related to acting, so for example he might want to star in a drama he's just feeling stuck doing only music. that's only an example though, it may not be the case. he should clear his mind and think carefully about what opportunities he takes on and which ones he passes on.

he's continuing working really hard, he's a literal workhorse. constantly doing something and that's lasting for quite a bit of time. he's going to feel unfulfilled though, feeling like he could do better and feeling underwhelmed. he might also hit some kind of realisation that makes him even more depressed when it comes to working. guys i honestly don't know much about the group but i think you should be pretty worried about this guy... seems like he's in a bad place mentally. he has serious tendancies of overworking himself and he's still never satisfied with the results. he really needs a break.

first of all, he's in deep need to chill and slow down a bit. clear his mind would even help him in the long run so hopefully he takes his mental health seriously. he also needs to be more realistic and lower his expectations because he's never going to be satisfied with himself if he puts himself to standards higher than a normal person. there's also this lingering realisation i was talking about. i honestly don't know what it's about but it's going to affect him so there's even more reasons for him to cool down.

I ain't synesthete, but I could feel an embrace while listening to a song. I ain't synesthete, but I could feel my tears being wiped away while watching content. And I ain't synesthete, but I could see shades of pink and blue in every encouraging word 13 people post. I have 13 companions that made me feel like different kinds of emotion even though they are miles away.

Seventeen is a self-producing Korean pop group that consists of 13 men. Under it are three units: vocal unit, hip-hop unit, and performance unit. All in all, they are one family. To do the math, 13 members + 3 units + 1 family = 17.

They have received numerous awards, and they are the 1st Korean group to reach 6 million sales of their single album, FML, having 3.99 million copies sold during 1st day. They've been touring domes now haven't you heard now stadium tours now that have been being sold out. First Kpop group to hold a concert at the world's largest Arena— Philippine Arena. More recently, they announced their concert in a more bigger venue which is the Philippine Arena's Sport Stadium, which will be held this coming January 13, 2024.

I was then 14 years old it was the month of May, a vacation from grade 8 classes. Getting into watching Korean novelas. Then I came across a certain YouTube video that shows 13 men dancing synchronously to a 2x version of their very famous "Don't wanna cry." that led me to dig deeper more about them-heard for the 1st time my favorite song, Run To You if we could just smell a song this one smells like a simple and peaceful life.

Later on, I found out that they went on various variety shows, which made me learn more about them. That leads me to know that their life is a comedy— naturally funny and they treat each other like a family. I guess there are many people saying that they perceive their idol groups as family. But in Seventeen, there are numerous reasons why;

• They have been with each other since teenage until adulthood. Before debuting or releasing a song. Seventeen needs to undergo a long and hard training. One member trained for almost six years before actually debuting. Which means they've been together not only for seven years. • They call their members' parents as eommoni/ abuji. Emmoni and Abuji in Korean means father and mother. And Seventeen have 13 pairs of parents, showing how close they are. • They got each other's back. One member got into a very serious situation, and they scheduled an interview with a brand. The 12 members still attended. Before that, they were in their member's house and then came back to Seoul for the event and back again. Traveling for hours to be in each other's comfort. • Contract renewal. It has been a hard decision since there are many members, and it could be possible for other members to choose a solo career. However, they decided to stay as a group.

Being a carat, there are no dull moments. They have different content on youtube, with Going Seventeen being famous; it is their own variety show. It is almost every day of the week, there is new content. Another is they are actively communicating with the fans through Weverse and their different social media platforms.

I gained friends virtually and physically. We share the same sentiments and know the feelings of being embraced by 13 men through their content.

With Seventeen, I could feel the support I never knew I needed.

They are not my form of escapism; they are part of my reality.

I am really pleased with the Face the Sun album overall, and “Hot” is an excellent song and MV and comeback for them. I think it’s a really interesting “new start” moment for the next stage of Seventeen’s career. It’s far from my favorite song on the album, but that’s not a criticism, I like all the songs.

There’s one song that’s shot up to near the top of my favorite songs list and has been on repeat though, and that’s “Shadow.” More thoughts on why (and just personal feelings babble) under the cut...

... the moment when your favorites group makes a song that resonates so much lyrically and sound wise and it uses your childhood nickname as a title, the one that’s been all your usernames since you’ve had usernames? That’s a feeling that hits some sort of way.

My username on here has been a username that I’ve used since I was thirteen, nearly two decades ago now. Shadow started being one of my nicknames when I was four, and I used it pretty consistently up until undergrad, I still answer to it without even thinking at 32 even though it’s not a name that I’ve intentionally used outside of the internet in about fifteen years at this point.

So yeah, definitely feeling some sort of way. I like the whole album, but definitely a little fixated on “Shadow.” The way it talks about overcoming what seems like divisions in the self, and the way that it feels like it’s a song to who you were as a person in the past, and the way it just fits a sequence of experiences I’ve had so hard. I just... yeah, feelings.

I think that I’m half glad, half sad it’s not the title track. I’d probably just be like a puddle of emotions if this had been the title track, and at this point, I’m just rambling. I could tell it was just... right... somehow before I even looked up the lyrics and could understand all of them.
