if you don’t mind I’d love to see plagg and tikki’s human forms
I drew them human designs last year but they looked too "God" like so I gave them a bit of a hairstyle change so that they can sort of fit in as civilians! Snipped off Plagg's long hair and put Tikki's in a bun LMAO!!!
Despite that, they have a very ethereal, perfect beauty to them so the people around them can't help but be entranced by them (until they take a whiff of Plagg's breath after he's eaten a shit ton of cheese).
They go by as Plagg and Tikki (cos I don't want to bother giving them human names) and they guise themselves as a married couple. They sort of are married anyways since they're two halves of a whole BUT ANYWAYS Plagg is very insufferable about it and Tikki has to deal with his shenanigans nonstop.
The reason that they have chosen to stick with human forms this time around is because their wielders are practically toddlers. They will be higher maintenance and will need to be looked after. When adrinette wields the powers, plikki sends them a surge of their energy but still retains their forms (any form they like) so that they can keep a proper eye over the kids and step in if needed.
They're also hired as babysitters for them too and work as teaching assistants in the school adrinette goes to. So they are basically adrinette's second set of parents.
It's easier for them to introduce themselves as Marinette's mother/Adrien's father. I guess they are their literal Godparents...

Do kwamis have the ability to fall in love like humans do? Obviously they have have their own emotions, but could they ever fall in love with one of their own? Also, since they have emotions wouldn't Nooroo's Generosity or Duusu's Psyche magic work on them? Like could a kwami have the potential to be akumatized by Monarch in your Au? Is that even possible?
In my AU it all depends on the individual kwami. Like I headcanon kwamis like Trixx and Wayzz to be aromantic, and they don't experience romantic attraction. Then I have kwamis like Yuume and Attlantis, who are very much in love and in a relationship. Nooroo and Duusu is another ship I like, Kaalki and Ziggy too, and Plikki of course.
I imagine that the Alpha Duos though have a bond all their own that humans and even other kwamis cannot comprehend. Something that could be compared to love, yet it is also something more. Something that comes from them being two halves of a whole, complete opposites, forever entwined since the universe came to be. Something they can't describe.

There's no reason why they couldn't be affected by emotion-based magic. As for akumatization though, I see it as something that is possible, but the magic a human is wielding trying to overwhelm a kwami... it wouldn't happen easily. If Nooroo was doing it though, that would probably be another story.

Been messing around with a HtTYD AU idea but all I really got so far is Plagg = Toothless (this is unchangeable and where the AU started, they’re both little gremlin shits, but both do also love their human friend in the end), which makes Adrien = Hiccup, so Marinette should probably = Camicazi, and Tikki = Stormfly (could get some Plikki mileage out of this is we acknowledge Toothless’s crush on Stormfly)
This got me thinking that that means Sabine = Big Boobied Bertha, and plants Gabriel as Stoick the Vast (and Emily as Valhallarama (of the White Arms and Chunky Thighs)), and Felix as Snotlout
But that’s only if we’re sticking canon relation to canon relation.
If it’s just universe and setting:
Gabriel/Hawkmoth definitely is taking on the role of Alvin the Treacherous and Mayura sort of filling in for Excellinor.
Adrien No-Name is Adopted by Marinette’s tribe, the Burnemups (or something along those lines), after washing up on their shores in a basket as a baby (he’s found with a set of silver rings, like fishleg’s necklace, I like evil couple romance so I think the motive for dumping him would be Emily, Gabriel didn’t want to bother with a kid, so they dumped him on Nathalie who was like “Fuck , idk what to do with a kid” so she tossed him and some semi valuable trinkets he might be able to use for cash if he survived into a basket and chucked him into the sea.
Marinette would be heir to the Burnemups, and loved by her parents, but not so popular among the rest of the tribe, who, while they like Tom and Sabine’s current rule, would prefer the Chiefdom transfer to someone a but more decisive and commanding. Someone like Chloé, who despite being a horrible person, is very good at making people do what she wants and advertising herself to the people.
Alya would be a member of the neighboring Beastly Brawlers (or something to that effect), who they meet in a similar fashion to Camicazi. She’s working on creating an information system between the tribes in the archipelago. A news system you might say.
Nino is a member of Marinette’s tribe. He’s training himself to be a musician, he practices some in public, but always the more chaotic noisy stuff. The other more melodic things he okays in secret. Adrien found him practicing once when they were younger and he sometimes joins him now to either listen or try his hand at some instruments.
Marinette’s hunting dragon = Tikki
Riding dragon = Mullo perhaps? Or maybe something equivalent to her new mini scooter.
Adrien’s hunting dragon = Plagg
Riding Dragon = Nooroo (because of Windwalker’s disabilities. Nooroo escaped from Gabriel/used to be his dragon, and eventually found his way to the Burnemups’ island. He’s pretty banged up and very skittish with other humans, but with lots of patience and kindness he’s open to working with Adrien)
Alya’s hunting Dragon = Trixx
Nino’s hunting Dragon = Wayzz
