Motaz posted a few videos on tiktok updating us on two more of his colleagues, his friends, that have entered martyrdom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Today (1/7/2023) marks 93 days, of this ongoing genocide in Gaza. Isr*li is perfoming a constant, bombardment, destruction, erasing, on the Palestinian people of gaza.
It’s clear to me that people have lost their humanity, If you are just so willing to sit back and go about your lives as if this genocide isn’t going on, you are complicit.
Being silent on this is complicit.
Being neutral on this is complicit.
Being ignorant is complicit.
On the amount of names of the Palestinian people. The women, children, fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, grandmas, grandpas, that have been killed.
Those numbers that you see are people.
People who had hopes and dreams, that had wants and needs just like you and I.
Children who are so young, talking about their first day of kindergarten, or how they made new friends in class that day.
Only for isr*li to send airstrikes to schools, destroying them in the process.
And for the people to continuously say that isr*li is defending themselves, I want you to sit back and reflect on why you believe that. That you can see videos, and pictures of people covering up the bodies of children and say that they deserved it. You’re being brainwashed, and you don’t even know it. Especially if you are american, and still supporting isr*li, you are nothing but a pawn in their game.
So keep boycotting, protesting, calling out these companies and these people for what they are doing. America wont care, unless money is brought into equation. Profits dropping, companies going bankrupt, whatever the fuck.
Once America stops funding the isr*li government, is when this genocide will start to come to an end.
First with the palestinian people, then congo, sudan, syria, and so forth.

this dedicated journalist who has been sharing their brutal reality with us is trying to help his wife, 3 small children & extended family. If all of his followers on IG gave 50 cents he would have already reached his goal, it's tragic that he isn't receiving more help after knowingly putting himself in harms way as part of the press. instagram: wadeaa_.9 facebook: m.max.1992

Remember when Germany liberated the Jews from death camps in Auschwitz and Buchenwald in 1945?
No ?
Because Germany did the Holocaust!
Germany now supports the killing of civilians and Claims it is not genocide.
Germany is killing Palestinians with it's support for Israel.
Every second you are committing genocide, over and over again!
Genocide is a choice, not a mistake that happened.
Wake up! Stop genocide.
Ban tik Tok = ban on freedom of speech!
No social media no news.
Western news are fake.

Direct-to-Garment Printing as a More Sustainable Option
An eco-friendly approach to printing directly on fabric.
Tumblr media
Over the years the clothing industry has kept up with the changing fashion trends and employed technological innovations to produce better quality clothes in large quantities. Now with worldwide concern over the textile industry’s overall environmental impact, there has been a demand for more sustainable practices. And all these rising concerns have not been without some merit.
Today the textile industry is considered the second largest polluter of freshwater globally. It produces 20% of the world’s wastewater and is responsible for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Here, DTG or Direct-to-Garment printing provides a way forward with an eco-friendly way of digitally printing images onto cotton textiles.
Tumblr media
Direct-to-garment printing, as the name itself mentions, is a textile process that prints the design directly to the fabric using inkjet technology. DTG has become one of the most convenient methods of garment decoration and put itself as a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach available in the textile industry. Here are the reasons that make DTG a viable long-term option.
Water-based inks
DTG technology uses water-based pigment inks that consist mainly of water and these inks are biodegradable in nature. These inks contain natural pigments and environmentally-friendly chemical additives that have little to no VOCs emission.
Natural fabrics oriented
DTG printing can be applied to a wide range of fabric types, from cotton, blends and even pure synthetics when combined with other methods (DTF). However, it performs better on natural fibers like cotton, linen, hemp and leather.
Tumblr media
Organic cotton is actually one of the most sustainable choices for DTG printing as the biodegradability of the natural fiber itself makes the whole process more environmentally responsible and sustainable.
User-friendly
The inks and pretreatment liquids used in DTG printing are water-based which makes the workspace one of the safest places in the textile industry. The inks are kept in closed cartridges at all times and the pretreatment solutions are sprayed within closed chambers so that operators don’t breathe in any hazardous chemicals.
No aftertreatment
In comparison to other printing methods employed in the textile industry, DTG doesn’t need a large amount of water and detergent to remove chemicals and additives, such as softeners. A DTG printed garment is ready-to-wear after its curing.
Less waste
DTG is mostly an automatic process, that uses digital files and prints directly from the computer with minimum manual handling. Once you have set the software parameters properly, only similar prints will be produced. This way both cloth and ink waste will be kept to the minimum and aligned with sustainable practices. It uses inkjet technology and uses less water than screen printing as it uses a printer that directly transfers ink to the cloth.
While the DTG printing method produces the same type of output, it uses more environmentally friendly ingredients, allowing for a change to more sustainable procedures.

So, THIS is a thing that’s happening. A few months ago, I was invited to join UNLIKELY HEROES STUDIOS from publisher, Laurie Foster! They produce some really cool books, had some fun plans for “Finding Dee”, AND she’s been editing my novels, so we already had a good working relationship. There was every reason to say “yes”, so I did. So later, when Laurie Foster and I were talking about all the different ways to make the announcement, we went over a few ideas. Then THIS occured to me. I mean, "Finding Dee" IS about my everyday life, so what better way to announce the comic strip joining the studio then with an actual comic strip! Now, with this announcement, comes a BRIEF hiatus for a few weeks as I prep for what’s needed for that NEXT big announcement, so bear with me. I think you’ll all be excited for what’s coming. :)
