De Stichting Leerkansen Zeist helpt Zeister ouders met financiële problemen van kinderen tussen de 4 en 18 jaar gewoon deel te nemen aan schoolactiviteiten en biedt een taalprogramma aan. De heropgerichte Fietsersbond in Zeist, gedreven door vrijwilligers, realiseert verbeteringen voor fietsers door inzet, lokale kennis, en een sterke lobby. Genomineerden Rode Pluim Kringloop Het Goede Doel Kringloop Het Goede Doel is een kringloopwinkel die werkt met vrijwilligers. Via de winkel krijgen objecten een tweede leven. Het is een gemeenschap, die iets voor anderen wil doen, omdat het beter is te geven dan te ontvangen. De kringloop is klein begonnen en zit nu in een groter pand tegenover de Brandweerkazerne. De opbrengst van de winkel gaat naar de diaconie. Stichting O'Mama's Stichting O'Mama's: door oma's en mama's van alle lagen in de samenleving met elkaar in verbinding brengen wordt eenzaamheid verminderd en ondersteunen ze elkaar in de opvoeding van kinderen. De O’Mama’s leggen via gratis activiteiten verbinding tussen moeders en generaties, omdat samen gezelliger is! Stichting Leerkansen Zeist Door geldgebrek thuis kunnen kinderen op school soms niet meedoen met activiteiten die voor hun leeftijdgenoten heel normaal zijn. Stichting Leerkansen Zeist wil dat alle kinderen die in Zeist wonen kunnen meedoen op school. Ouders of verzorgers van schoolgaande kinderen tussen 4 en 18 jaar kunnen bij de stichting een aanvraag indienen. Ook is er een taalontwikkelingsprogramma ontwikkeld voor groep 5 en 6. Genomineerden Groene Pluim Natuurlijk Zeist-West Natuurlijk Zeist-West is genomineerd voor de grote betrokkenheid en inzet voor de natuur in en rondom Zeist. De werkgroepen die hieruit zijn voortgekomen als de knotgroep, de faunapassage werkgroep, de poelenwerkgroep, samenwerking met Samen Duurzaam Zeist om nieuwe wandelpaden aan te leggen in het Brinkpark zijn daar een mooi voorbeeld van. Kennis van het Kromme Rijngebied wordt gedeeld met mede-Zeistenaren, maar ook met de lokale politiek. Het geeft natuur en dieren een stem. Duurzaam Café Iedere derde woensdag van de maand organiseert Samen Duurzaam Zeist een Duurzaam Café in de bieb. Daar brengen ze laagdrempelig een duurzaam thema voor het voetlicht. De avond is speciaal bedoeld voor Zeistenaren die iets meer willen weten, mee willen praten of zelf iets willen gaan doen aan duurzaamheid. Het is laagdrempelig, divers, frequent, en gratis. Fietsersbond De Fietsersbond zet zich in voor meer en beter fietsen. In Zeist is de lokale afdeling weer nieuw leven ingeblazen door een enthousiaste groep vrijwilligers. Dankzij hun inzet en lokale kennis, en hun lobby richting de gemeente worden er veel verbeteringen voor veilig fietsen gerealiseerd. De winnaars Fractie en bestuur van GroenLinks Zeist hebben uit een grote lijst met sociale en duurzame initiatieven de nominaties voor de Rode en de Groene Pluim vastgesteld. Daarna hebben de leden van de afdeling de winnaars gekozen. Voorzitter Liesbeth Raymakers van GroenLinks afdeling Zeist maakte de winnaars bekend tijdens de goedbezochte nieuwjaarsbijeenkomst op 17 januari. Eén van de winnaars van vorig jaar – Stichting Riforest – reikte de wisseltrofeeën uit. De Rode Pluim is een kunstwerk van voormalig GroenLinks raadslid Arend Knot, getiteld ‘Rainbow Warrier’. De Groene Pluim, een soort bijenkorf, is gemaakt door Sebas van Atelier Totem.
