Currently working on: got home from the Evil Christmas Season and I'm off til Tuesday so my current goals are SLEEP. repair my feet. get the fuckin house cleaned. and just eat a lot of hot, freshly cooked food whether or not it gives me horrible gas.

Happy Halloween! Favorite spooky episodes of shows?

Happy Halloween!! I spent my Halloween giving out candy to trick-or-treaters and then watched a bunch of goofy old Halloween specials with some pals.

This is such a hard question without going into Halloween Specials territory, which would be cheating, so I stuck with television shows that happened to feature spooky/Halloween episodes. As for my favorite spooky episodes of TV shows:

The Stevil episodes of Family Matters are incredibly funny. Family Matters is one of those shows where I didn't appreciate it anywhere near as much as I should have until I got older. Genuinely super funny and the Stevil episodes are just the right amount of goofy physical comedy and make you wish they started doing them earlier as an annual tradition.

Roseanne made Halloween episodes an annual tradition for awhile and even during especially bad later seasons they were often a highlight.

The werewolf episode of Barney Miller. "He says he's a werewolf" "... I better put down some newspapers in the cage" kills me every single time. My favorite sitcom ever.

The Halloween episode of George & Leo, which was a super shortlived Bob Newhart and Judd Hirsch sitcom. Those two are amazing and them being together is an absolute delight. The show should've gotten a second chance and the Halloween episode is the highlight. Love watching Bob Newhart deal with trick-or-treaters.

Treehouse of Horror episodes of The Simpsons which is just a gimmie answer tbh.

the Boy Meets World episode "And Then There Was Shawn" is slasher parody landmark in the world of sitcoms.

The original Rugrats Halloween episode with Grandpa Lou yelling "HUMPIN' HORNY GOATS", which I always think about. Also one of the earliest episodes that show off the babies' obsession with Reptar Bars, which do look really fucking cool.

I know I'm missing some and I know I could go on forever so I'll stop here. Just be careful if you ever ask me about Christmas episodes in the future because my answer will be even scarier.

Hanges kid has their entire room Reptar themed. Has socks and sneakers, a backpack, stickers, all the things! Including an oversized plushie that goes everywhere with them.

Just think, if Hange is obsessed with titans, how obsessed they'd be with dinosaurs!

My top 6 fictional foods I want to cook and or eat

Have you ever seen or read about food in stories, TV or movies and you think “I wonder what that tastes like?” or “I think I could make that”. I certainly have, so here are fictional dishes that I’d like to try.

6. Lembas

Lembas Bread is Bread made by the Elves and Melian the Maia in The Lord of the Rings. I imagine the taste would be like shortbread but sweeter.

5. Snack sushi

Snack Sushi is a sushi dish from Steven Universe. Snack Sushi is made with corn puffs, avocado slices, Japanese rice and seaweed wrap.

4. Burger Shack Chili Fries from Ben 10

The Chili Fries from Burger shack has green onion, jalapeños slices, melted cheese, chili and crispy fries.

3. The Death Sandwich

The Death Sandwich from Regular Show is a sub sandwich made by the people who master the art of Death Kwon Do. It has chili, meatballs and ham. It might look like an ordinary sub but you have to eat it right cause if you don’t, YOU DIE. Just kidding, I am not going to die by eating and not wearing the Death Kwon Do outfit.

2. Reptar Bars

Reptar Bars are from Rugrats. They are milk chocolate bars with a green coating. I was curious to know what the green coating would taste like. Is it Matcha? Mint? White Chocolate with green food coloring? Or maybe something completely unique like Basil or Lime.

1. Remy’s Ratatouille

Ratatouille made by Remy the rat from the film ‘Ratatouille’. This dish is actually called Confit byaldi, which is a variation of Ratatouille. I want to try this dish the most because of how it affected Anton Ego in the movie. I’m also curious to see if I can make this dish just as well, to prove if in fact ‘anyone can cook’.
