Today also marks 45 years since the win of Miss Universe 1977!!!✨
One of my favorites, Janelle Commissiong represented Trinidad and Tobago giving her country their first win ever!! Not only that, but she was the first black woman to win Miss Universe! A very big part of MU history!🇹🇹
Miss Universe 1977 was filmed at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

K-Pop in the Caribbean
As a dedicated K-pop fan living in the Caribbean, I understand the struggle of saving money and traveling long distances just to see our favorite idols perform. It's not always feasible for us to travel to the U.S.A or South Korea, where most of these concerts are held. We believe that it's time for K-pop groups to visit us or hold a Caribbean Tour. A group like Ateez would be a perfect start, with their pirate concept to visit our beautiful islands and feel the love of Caribbean Atinys.
The Caribbean is home to millions of passionate K-pop fans who would love nothing more than seeing their idols perform live in their own countries. According to Statista (2020), there are approximately 2 million active K-Pop fans across the Caribbean region - a significant audience that deserves attention.
Moreover, having these tours stop at all major capitals in each Caribbean Island would not only benefit fans but also boost local economies by attracting tourism and promoting cultural exchange. This move could potentially introduce new audiences to this genre while providing an unforgettable experience for existing fans.
We urge concert organizers and entertainment companies managing these talented artists to consider including the Caribbean on their tour schedules. Let's make it possible for every fan around the world, regardless of location, have an equal opportunity of experiencing a live performance by their beloved idols.
Please sign this petition if you support bringing K-pop concerts closer home - right here in the heart of our vibrant Caribbean communities! 🇧🇧🇬🇾🇯🇲
Signed, a Trinidadian Atiny🇹🇹

The Bird Feeder.
My father, about about 5 years before he died, began feeding birds. He did this for the pleasure of hearing them sing, I suppose. In a way I suppose it was one of his ways of controlling his environment. He also found it amusing that passing birds would make a mess on passing cars. They never really did. He liked to think one day they would. In some ways he wasn’t all that nice, but his…
