I love that Bakugo is consistently referred to as so pretty and beautiful when he's not yelling and being his all around gremlin self which we love- and that he's canonically just good at everything he does and has all these random talents

Mary is showing Frances this recipe, and Frances is intently listening, trying to take it all in. Mary explains how she sort of just eyeball the amounts and went onto the next step, stirring the pot. Frances nods with the same intent, but she is instantly thinking how she doesn't know at all how much Mary just poured into the pot. She didn't want to say anything to Mary; she'd figure it out. She didn't want Mary to get on her about cooking again. Mary peaked over at her little sister, she can just feel the confusion. She gives Frank a smile, a slight lil sly one, holding back a laugh and asks her if she "needs the measurements written down?" And Frances can't keep a concentrated face. She feels her cheeks grow warm and bursts into a large smile and a giggled out a "Yes please." Mary doesn't even tease her after this, she knows Frances is embarrassed enough. Mary laughs as well, leaning her head gently on her sister's own for a few moments before she puts most of her focus on her cooking again. Frances is Frances and Mary wouldn't ask for anything less.

I have so many ideas listed on my phone but half of the "details" are on my draft here. I'm trying to wake up motivation and shut the door where my fears are. But I resaw this and another idea popped up. My brain is formatted for angsty, I'm sorry.

Bucky broke up with you. Angry, the reader spends the night with someone else (maybe they have sex maybe not). He comes back and this is the reaction when he opens the door.

"I can't do this anymore..."

...and just like that Bucky left. Without much of a goodbye. He broke up with you and didn't even give you a reason why.

Now you are cuddled up in Steve's arms, crying and whimpering as your friend just holds you.

"Everything is going to be alright," Steve mumbles, not knowing what has gotten into his friend.

"He left....and then...and..." you lift your head to look at Steve's chest. You ruined his white shirt with your makeup, and mascara is smeared all over the fabric. "I ruined your shirt. Do you want one from the stuff Bucky left?"

"Sure, doll," Steve pecks your hair before he carefully helps you sit up on the bed. He strips off his shirt, dropping it to the ground to join your jeans and shoes.

"Y/N, doll...I..."

The first thing Bucky sees is Steve's naked chest, followed by you only wearing one of his old shirts.

"Buck-"

Bucky's eyes dart from you to his best friend and back to you.

"I should leave you alone," Steve picks up his shirt and leaves the room to give you and your now ex-boyfriend privacy.

"What?" Bucky opens his mouth and shuts it again. He gasps for air as you turn around on the bed you shared not so long ago to hide under the blanket.

Now there is the smell of another man on the sheets.

"Doll...why...how?"

"Just get your shit and leave me alone," you choke on your words.

Your voice is hoarse and Bucky knows you must've been crying the whole day.

"I came here to apologize and beg for forgiveness...but you already moved on."

You don't tell Bucky that nothing happened between you and Steve.

If he can break your heart so easily, you'll shatter his in return...

okay so i have black pearls #1 fan as my best frien dright. i was like around whateer ht ehell i was going and i saw them talking about a black pearl horrid creature guy and it gave me the idea of liek an eldritch being black pearl like a chtululu or hwatevr how theyre spelled,, this is like months ago i started getting on and starting to like make a banger eldritch beign which btw i just added an eye and give them 4 eye sinstead of 2 and it was just so bland then ileft it alone until now where i resaw it and exchanged some stuff and i pulled up THIS banger of a drawing,,,,,,, it was first a sketch but bc of how much i liked the drawing i simply kept it and just added coloring to the whoel thing. this also was a nice way to check out if my new brushes fuck hard or not ,,, im veyr proud of this drawing tbh :] it got rlly good and i hope it gets recognition idk prayign god bless

Any advice on how to deal with turning/being 23? I resaw that tweet about 23 being the flop era and now i’m scared because i turn 23 in a couple of days

You know when you’re baking a cake, and when you go to take a peek at it through the oven window, you see the nice golden crust and you assume it’s finished? So you decide to take it out of the oven, but as you’re pulling it out you realize the center is still raw and gooey, and it’s sloshing dangerously around in the pan? That’s 23.

You’re not finished baking babe. But it feels like it, because you’ve already got the appearance of a fully finished baked good, but once any real pressure is applied, you realize your center is woefully unprepared.

You’ll feel like none of the decisions you make are correct. (Not all of them will be). You’ll feel like clutching on to people you are steadily outgrowing. (You shouldn’t). You’ll feel like you’ve got antagonists around every corner. (You kind of do, but you have more friends than enemies).

You’re going to spend your time wondering why. “Why did I pick this job?” “Why did I pick this town?” “Why did I pick this person?” “Who let me, an infant, make all of these decisions anyway?!”

And guess what? It’s all okay. Instead of dreading and fighting against a “flop era”, which is unhelpful and woefully negative, embrace the fact that you’ve got a raw and gooey center.

Get into those fights. Start standing up for yourself and realize you’ve overcorrected. Argue with people and forgive people and recognize that the majority of them, if they’re your peers, also have a raw center too.

Make your mistakes. They won’t be catastrophic. Say yes to things. Don’t be guided by fear. Don’t get married. Don’t have a baby. Don’t drink too much. Move your body at least four times a week. Lean on the people you trust. Recognize that you can trust them, even if you feel like you’re alone in the world. Let the existential crises and looming anxieties wash over you. Don’t try to block them out, just sit with them for a while. Forgive yourself when you decide you don’t want to focus on it and instead stick your head in the sand.

Accept people as they are, because you want people to accept you as you are. Recognize when you’re being irrational. Be irrational anyway, because you don’t really have a choice in the matter.

Most of all, please breathe. Take it day by day. And if they gets too much, take it hour by hour.

This is just one year, in a long line of your years. And honestly? It’s still one of the very early ones. It will go much faster than you think. Start giving yourself grace. It’s not a flop year, babe. You’re trying. And that’s what matters.

Happy belated birthday, darling. It’s not the easiest or most fun year, but it will be a great one. 💛
