Good morning what are the movies or tv shows that traumatized you as a kid mine are the BBC production of A Christmas Carol and a handful of David Suchet Poirot episodes
Neither of them are sure of what they’re doing. All they know is that they are doing it, tentative and scared. Each knows they want to kiss the other, but neither are sure of the other’s feelings.
Still Kenta leans forward towards Pete, to be close to him. To feel at least a piece of the intimacy that he doesn’t have with anyone else. The feeling of friendship and the small kernel of love that is growing inside his heart. But it scares him more than anything because he knows that all of those things that Tony says about him are true. He knows in his bones that he is not worthy of Pete, that Pete is destined for better. A better life, a better future, a better lover. Still if he can steal just this moment of closeness before Pete pushes him away, he’ll be happier than he’s ever been, more than he is deserving of.
But Pete is the one who kisses Kenta. He leans forwards and oh so gently kisses the boy he might just love. The boy who’s always been with him. The one he wants to protect, but ultimately isn’t able to in his current position. He steals this one kiss and wants so badly to do it again. If only they had more time. If only Pete both weren’t terrified of what could happen if they take even just a tiny half step toward. Pete knows that his status as an enigma is going to get in the way, is going to be a roadblock. He knows he has to be careful in the future, but maybe this kiss means as much to Kenta as it does for him.
Kenta knows what Pete’s silence means. Rejection. Polite but still rejection. Pete is too scared to hurt him because for some reason he cares about Kenta’s feelings. Pete isn’t like Tony. He cares about him, doesn’t want to hurt him.
So Kenta runs away. Because he knows he knows he fucked up. Because he’s scared. Because he knows that Tony will not be pleased. Would Tony hurt Pete if he found out about how Kenta feels? Kenta can handle getting hurt, he’s used to it, deserves it even. But if anything happens to Pete because of him, he won’t forgive himself. He won’t let anything happen to Pete. He won’t let him get hurt.
Tony is the one who gives his life purpose, but Pete is the one who makes him feel alive. He needs to ensure that Pete will not get hurt by his actions.
i've always wanted to try out this trend! i didnt think i drew him that different. i was wrong. very wrong.
hes so baby girl in my style what the fuck. oh i know, i was just drawing what gege meant to draw. dw, i got his telepathic brainwaves 👍
[time lapse + my headcanons for Noritoshi's appearance under the cut]
some headcanons i have while drawing him are semi obvious while others are bc i like it ahehahhaheha
cupid's bow lips!
this was semi inspired by Mizuki Umetsu, the actor for Noritoshi in the jjk stage play! hes so. pretty. perfect guy for the role imo! i was captivated therefore my views changed.
longer hair!
the thought that his bangs(? are the same length, or longer, as the rest of his hair is nice.. it also makes his inevitable haircut much more refreshing! i also just like long hair and its a fucking waste not to do whatever the i want.
thicker brows and visible eyelashes!
i naturally draw thicker eyebrows because it looks pretty, but the eyelashes is so fucking canon bro. dont even fight me on this, you'll lose. i read a fic about Noritoshi where it said he took good care of himself and his appearance inspired jealousy. that fucked me up man, so now i draw him as beautiful as i can.
monolids!
I've looked through the manga and i think its highly implied that Noritoshi has monolids? yk those lines in between the eye and eyebrow, he doesnt have them in the manga. i thought it was because of the expressions he had, but no. the others have them, except geto! so geto also having monolids is so fr in my head. i like that feature abt him.
loose hairs!
the hairs that i draw on his face. they make him look so cute and a bit more relaxed. he's not trying to be perfect nor have a single strand out of place. he's just a bit more at ease... though if there's something important he has to go through, he sharpens up. becomes.. stiffer?
I UNINTENTIONALLY MADE HIS CHEST LOOK A BIT BIGGER IN MY STYLE AND I WANT TO APOLOGIZE, BUT I'D BE A LIAR.
DOES THIS COUNT AS A HEADCANON??? I JUST THINK... SINCE. YK. HES AN ARCHER. AND DOES TRAINING. AND COMBAT. AND DOES ALL THOSE HIGH JUMPS... HIS CHEST. ITD BE A BIT BIGGER FOR HIS STATURE.. omfg. that'd imply that his legs are fucking insane. and his arms too, since he has to pull back all those arrows so quickly.. oh my fuck. this. this is a revelation. what are you hiding under those robes noritoshi...???? one day.. one day we'll see...
oh my fucking god i forgot that i wrote shit while drawing. please ignore my fucking stupid writings AND THE STUPID ASS THING IN THE MIDDLE I FORGOT ABT WHILE DRAWING..
Not a dashing bishounen nor a smexy gilf, but a secret third thing (petite, hot-tempered mademoiselle in a fangfucking situationship with Veronica de Sade)
Revelation 1:4-6 (NLT). “This letter is from John to the seven churches in the province of Asia. Grace and peace to you from the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come; from the sevenfold Spirit before his throne; and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world. All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us. He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”
John 14:6 (FBV). “Jesus replied, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
1 Thessalonians 4:17 (FBV). “Then those of us who are alive and still here will be carried up together with them into the clouds, and we shall meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever!”
“Jesus, the Faithful Witness” By In Touch Ministries:
“Sometimes the best encouragement comes from reminding ourselves who Jesus is.”
“John wrote the book of Revelation to encourage Christians being heavily persecuted by the Roman emperor Domitian. Approximately 25 years earlier Rome had destroyed Jerusalem and taken away Christians’ rights. Many believers were beginning to wonder, Where is Jesus? Is He still Lord? So John’s main purpose in writing this book was to remind believers that Jesus Christ was alive, and He was and would continue to be the same loving, all-powerful Son of God.
We also can be encouraged by remembering who Jesus is. Revelation 1:5 reminds us that He is the faithful witness, which means we can rely on every single thing He says. And not only are His words true, but according to John 14:6, He Himself is the truth. In other words, if He says He will do something, we can trust that it will happen. And that includes not only His statement that life on earth isn’t all there is, but also that He will be with us forever (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
We know Jesus’ words are trustworthy because He conquered death through the cross and His resurrection, preparing the way for all who trust Him. If you’re unsure whether Jesus is alive and active in your life, remember what lengths He went to in order to keep His word.”

I love that while Royce may be the horrifying assassin man who everyone associates with death, realistically speaking Hadrian probably has the higher kill count. Royce went after individuals and occasionally anyone who got in the way of his killing those individuals, but Hadrian participated in wars and massacres. On multiple occasions. He probably killed more people in one night than Royce did over the course of a year. And there's something about this dichotomy that is soooo interesting to me, especially because I think it really colors how they view death and killing. Like yes they were both brought up with a very different foundation on the subject, but the way they've killed has also been different. For Royce, he either figured the person deserved it or it was personally beneficial for him (very them or me). But Hadrian often felt like he didn't have to. These were just guys doing their jobs. These were guys he fought alongside just weeks ago. These were people defending their city, or taking it back, so of course the idea of killing is more disgusting to him, even just based on the way he did it in the past. This also makes it understandable why being a gladiator would have some appeal, because he only has to kill one to five people in one go rather than ten or more, and all of them (theoretically) choose to be there for no other reason then to fight, so of course it feels more noble than what he was doing before, until the tiger.
It's just so fun that everyone considers Royce to be the more dangerous because he's more volitile, which is an accurate assessment, but if either of them should really smell like death, it's Hadrian.
does gale know that he's appreciated? does he know that he's loved? does he know that he's funny and witty and charming and worthwhile as a companion because of his simple existence? does he know that there is fulfillment in following the ambition to live? does he know? can he see the paths laid before him, the paths he is destined to walk, some that end in his death, others that continue on with his life, does he understand the ramifications of his choices, does he understand how his choices have affected the other companions' courses just by asking for a hand?
does he understand how the act of taking his hand grounds him in reality, towards a brighter future?
of course he doesn't; he's a fictional character and he only knows thst he sees in front of him and that is his death several feet ahead of him. he is entangled in the fabric of the universe like a moth in a spider's web, the strands of his ambitions and regrets clinging, gossamer thin yet sticky and strong, holding him fast to the paths that rip him in too many directions.
all he needs is a little push into the spider's maw or free to fly and live another day.
Title: "Unveiling the Hope of Prophecy: A Journey Through Biblical Revelation"
Introduction:
Join us on another captivating exploration of biblical prophecy as we uncover the hope and promise it holds for believers. Delve into the pages of scripture with us as we unravel the mysteries of prophecy and discover the unshakable assurance it brings.
Commentary:
Revelation 21 paints a breathtaking picture of the new heaven and new earth, where God will dwell with His people, wiping away every tear and making all things new. This vision offers hope and assurance to believers, reminding us of the glorious future that awaits us in Christ.
Isaiah 65 provides a glimpse into the coming kingdom of God, where there will be joy, peace, and prosperity beyond imagination. It speaks of a time when God will create a new heavens and a new earth, where His people will dwell in everlasting righteousness.
In 2 Peter 3, Peter encourages believers to look forward to the day of the Lord, when the heavens will disappear with a roar and the elements will be destroyed by fire. Yet, in the midst of this destruction, there is hope for a new heaven and new earth, where righteousness dwells.
Romans 8 reminds us that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us. Creation itself groans in anticipation of the redemption that will come with the revealing of the sons of God.
