ఌ Let’s be real, he’s trying his best. Really, so before your relationship began, he was DESPERATE to figure out how to woo you—how to sweep you off your feet!

ఌ He didn’t learn his lesson the first time with not asking the hosts for help. But, this is in the LOVE department! Surely they know better about that than they do about making him look less intimidating?? Who could possibly be better to turn to for hints at romance?

ఌ Unfortunately, it seems this rambunctious bunch of boys don’t take him seriously at all. Seems. Maybe they think they’re taking him super seriously, but it REALLY doesn’t look like it!

ఌ So, he begs that you forget having walked into the Third Music room—since abandoned by its department—only to have been bombarded by swirling roses that flew all around you. They framed a path that you swore was heart shaped, up to Ritsu, who kneeled in a host uniform, his signature nervous smile, and a rose held for you to take.

ఌ Cue a fit of giggles that may or may not have made him fall even deeper in love with you.

ఌ Best believe that he never turned to them again (okay, maybe Haruhi, but even her suggestions were questionable… Some of them were great, don’t get him wrong! Like, the star-gazing idea or the “ walk-in-a-park ” idea! But, the “ clean together! ” or “ attend-a-host-event ” ideas were downright rejected.)

ఌ Well, not entirely. You know those big fancy balls the Host club holds? Towards the start and end of the year? Well, with Haruhi leading the plan for obvious reasons, he mustered up the courage and invited you to the ball with him. Was that a fluttering in your heart~? Eek!

ఌ Was this going to be when he finally made a move? When your budding relationship finally bloomed?

ఌ The night was beautiful, from the delicacies, everyone’s pretty attire, all the way to the lighting. This really was a party held by the most elite of society’s children! Your outfit was a gorgeous scarlet—gifted to you by Kasanoda’s right hand man who simply smiled and asked kindly that you please wear it! You couldn’t decide which to focus on, how they got your measurements or why this was happening.

ఌ Of course, deep down you knew full and well why it’s happening, didn’t you?

ఌ Let’s rollback a few notches. Now, what could have possibly made him fall for you? Was it, maybe, your sitting by him in every class despite everyone else making a painfully obvious barrier between them and him given the empty chairs around him? Nooo, don’t be silly, it couldn’t be that.

ఌ Oh, was it you seeking him out during lunch time, finding him alone in the garden, eating and talking to the plants? No, surely that wasn’t why he stared at you with glossy, grateful eyes that said, “ Please, sit, I insist. ”

ఌ Hmm, maybe it’s because of how many times you walked home with him and held normal conversations with him, as if he wasn’t labeled the school’s “ Scariest Man Ever To Attend ”? No, couldn’t be that. It wasn’t like he loved and looked forward to the walks, so much so that he silently waited by the door for you to collect your things and trot on up beside him, telling him all about your day. And it definitely couldn’t have been that for once, he was walking with someone who wasn’t Tetsuya, and this person beside him didn’t give off any vibes of “ I’m being forced to hang out with you, as a joke! A prank! ”

ఌ Oh, I know, maybe all of this is happening because of the first time you two met outside of school. It was the weekend, and you were out in the neighborhood for a reason long since forgotten by now.

ఌ There was the sounds of a struggle down a street, and you, being you, couldn’t help but think, “ Hey, if someone’s in trouble, the right thing to do is help them? ”

ఌ So, imagine the fear on your face and stiffness in your body to peak down the alley and see a red-haired boy surrounded by several others. Totally unfair, you thought! That’s too many people for one person!

ఌ His back was to you, and you locked eyes with the man in the center as he pulled his arm back and yelled something about how much respect he’ll get for beating the son of THE Kasanoda-Gumi group!

ఌ No matter how much you knew about the neighborhood or the syndicates ‘round these parts, nothing could have prepared you for how fast your feet carried you between the two, chucking your bag into the man in the middle’s face, shutting him up instantly.

“ There’s no respect for a bully that teams up on a guy! “

ఌ You said with faux confidence. The man behind you could have sworn you looked just like a little wolf protecting him, baring your teeth at a bunch of men that he just had a feeling would tuck and run at your appearance.

ఌ And that they did, though whether it was your display of Justice, their boss’s bloody nose, or the rather demonic aura seeping out of the guy behind you—that was anyone’s guess, too 🤷‍♂️

“ Uh… Th.. Thanks, for that. “

ఌ When you turned to face your damsel-in-distress, the drastic difference between his voice and appearance took you off guard. A few giggles, a quick apology for the rudeness, and a “ no problem “ for the thank-you, and suddenly his face was almost flushed as red as his scarlet locks. Silence blanketed your both before you shrugged and past him.

ఌ Wait, he called.

ఌ You paused, halting in your tracks, and turned inquisitively.

ఌ He stammered then continued, would he ever see you again?

ఌ Silence.

ఌ A once over, you gave him.

ఌ Then a bright smile.

ఌ Of course, you laughed out.

ఌ After all, you continued, we go to the same school. A point to the badge on his bag, and suddenly he had to avoid eye-contact just to recover from the embarrassment.

ఌ The same school? His luck must have been turning around if he could see you again so soon.

ఌ And so, there’s no telling where he fell in love with you. Whether in between, during, before, after—or maybe even not yet!

ఌ Regardless, you held your head high, excited to step through the doors. You were greeted with what would begin a night you would never forget.

ఌ Folks you hadn’t yet placed names-to-faces-for guided you across the dance floor. Hand-in-hand, trading you off to the next person who swirled and dipped you. The first was a guy with auburn hair, mighty tall, you noted. He had mannerisms or a mischievous fox. Next was a man with black locks, taller than the last, and never speaking a word. You missed the smile in his eyes as you were passed to an eccentric blond with a blinding grin. He was quite the chatterbox during this dance, taking longer than the others, before a smaller brunet boy took your hand and scolded him with a, “ Senpai, you’ll ruin the plan! ” This boy had cute quirks and soft hands. The dance was simple, sweet, and kind.

ఌ It was towards the end that you caught a glimpse of red hair.

ఌ The next hand you were passed into was familiar and welcoming. Calloused, marked with a scar here and there. They seemed like thorny hands that would hurt whoever made contact, but somehow when it came to your hand, they were the kindest, gentlest.

ఌ Your eyes gazed up to catch a glimpse of that same-old nervous, nasty grin you fell for.

“ Another plan, huh, Ritsu dear? “

“ Dear? “

ఌ He stammered, repeating the pet name you tagged to the end of his name.

ఌ A squeak of surprise escaped you as he was thrown off so much so that his footwork changed to include a “ step-on-your-partner’s-foot! “

ఌ A dozen apologies later, and below the stars you were.

ఌ The loud crowd had mellowed out with distance, so much so that the soothing ballroom music was audible enough to drag a mewl of happiness from your lips.

ఌ You leaned into him, shifting this dance more so into a romantic slow dance.

ఌ This would have continued, turned even more romantic as the midnight sky poured over and over again, renewing the twinkle in each star!

ఌ But, alas, any plan by the host boys just had to have one little signature quirk in it.

ఌ Though whether you could fault the club or not for this was anyone’s guess!

ఌ From the bushes lining the balcony his dancing feet led you to, popped up an even more eccentric dirty-blonde girl who screeched a, “ Oh come on, kiss them already! What kind of romance is this!? A SUCKY one, of course! “

ఌ Had it not been for your laughter, this particular redhead might’ve melted from embarrassment.

ఌ Instead, he cupped your cheek and guided your eyes to him.

ఌ There was hesitance, a glance here and there, and his mouth opening and closing inaudibly like a fish outta water.

ఌ So, you pressed affectionately against his hand then slowly leaned in to plant a chaste kiss upon his lips.

ఌ They weren’t the softest in the world, and perhaps slightly rough (easily fixed with some lip balm!).

ఌ And surely there was evidence this was his first kiss, first REAL kiss, but the fireworks in your heart made none of that matter at all.

ఌ From then, word spread throughout the school much too quickly that the rumor of “ Ritsu and Y/N? Canon or Fanon? ” was completely canon.

ఌ Your reputation rubbed off on him, and suddenly he found himself with more friends and acquaintances than he ever dreamt of.

ఌ The empty seats around him were filled with talkative randos—though, if ever they say in your seat, he couldn’t help the intimidating glare shot at them.

ఌ Your life after school would become much more interesting too.

ఌ Apparently the guy you beamed with his bag had inflated and hyperbolized your image tremendously.

ఌ In the streets, you were gaining a strange name, “ The Rabid Wolf “.

ఌ Whatever that meant.

ఌ Ritsu worried about it, assuring you he would clear your name, but you laughed it off and said it could probably do more good than harm!

ఌ After all, he did have fears of people knowing you were his lover.

ఌ Partner.

ఌ Romantic acquaintance!

ఌ He may or may not have been rosy-hued in the cheeks when you showed up at the house one morning, to walk to school together, obviously!

ఌ And the house erupted in, “ Kasanoda, sir, your lover awaits at the door! ”

ఌ You pretended to have not heard the girlish screech before a disheveled, heavy-breathing Ritsu slammed open and closed the door.

ఌ That walk had been quiet, save for your running-of-the-mouth.

ఌ Oh, and any time you shied away from dominating the conversation so, he would break the silence and say, “ Go on? ”

Hope I'm not a bother. Could I request a OHSHC oneshot for Ritsu Kasanoda x reader where the reader walks in to the host club and sees Ritsu in the cat maid outfit? Kinda like how Tetsuya did but reader is super in love with it and obsessing over him? I love cat maid Ritsu

Note : I love Ritsu he's one of my favs <3 <3 Tsundere baby <3 <3 And once again, I suck at dialogue. I'm sorry about this being late, I'm still sore from swimming I did yesterday :( enjoy!!

The situation escalated so fast it wasn't even funny.

To Ritsu at least. Hikaru and Kaoru were, of course, laughing their asses off, but not Ritsu.

This was certainly not how he envisioned today going when he initially approached Haruhi for advice. He didn't want to deal with the nonsense of the host club again, but Haruhi was sensible enough, so he thought it would be fine to ask her what exactly to do to win your affection. Sure, he had a gaggle of girls following him, and many guys giving him advice on how to make a move ever since he expressed a little bit of a crush for Haruhi (which he, of course has since gotten over), but he still has no idea how to talk to people without sounding like he's going to beat their ass. Especially you.

Whenever you talk to him, he ends up sounding like he's going to punt you into the ocean, and despite how unconvincing he sounds with his face red enough to nearly blend his hair into his face, he still thinks you hate his guts.

So he approaches Haruhi, who effortlessly flirts and talks to the girls she entertains everyday.

"So um... Fujioka, I just wanted to ask...," he begins awkwardly, his expression a very convincing emulation of someone sucking on a lemon.

"What's up Kasanoda?"

Haruhi, as usual deems his nonsense slightly less nonsensical than that she has to put up with everyday, and gives him her full attention.

"I was wondering since you do the host club stuff everyday, do you have any tips?"

"OF COURSE WE'LL HELP YOU!!!," yells out Tamaki, leaping out of whatever bush or pillar he was hiding behind still as overdramatic as ever.

"uh no that's okay-"

"Poor Bossa Nova, trapped in the throes of longing! Dont worry, we'll guide you to your life of romance!"

And so began his next hour of torture (again). From trying to teach him to say the cringiest lines, to dressing him "more elegantly", they finally arrived at this conclusion.

A pretty little dress, frilly apron, thigh highs with dainty little bows and a delicated pair of cat ears adorned Kasanoda's head. He was this close to decking the twins laughing it up behind him.

"QUIT LAUGHING! GET THIS STUPID THING OFF OF ME!!!"

Which of course, does nothing against the notorious teasing streak of the Hitachin twins. And then...

"Kasanoda?"

He freezes. Oh god, not this. Anything but this. As if being forced into this frilly, cat maid uniform monstrosity wasn't bad enough, you had to see. He can't even try to begin to justify this.

Except...you don't say anything. When he hesitantly meets your gaze, the only emotion present on your face is complete adoration, dotted with warmth in your cheeks.

You're just as speechless as him in this situation, yet for another reason entirely.

"You look...gosh, you really look so cute!!!"

You finally squeal, and run up to him, your smile so wide and bright it might end up blinding anyone who has the fortune of looking. And yet, the only thing Kasanoda can say, is a deep profound "Huh?!", from the deepest reaches of his soul.

"Yeah! Just look at you, you're really pulling this off so, so well!!"

Well then. That's more than a little unexpected. Kasanoda smiles slightly. Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.

[ SCENARIO ] [ Hikaru, Kaoru, Haruhi, Tamaki, Kyoka, Ritsu ]

[ Ouran High School Host Club ]

Hehe my dear you have no idea how much I love your request, and THANK U SO MUCH FOR REQUESTING FOR RITSU!! he is amazing but underestimated

Hikaru Hitachiin

Hikaru is pretty caotic and, along side with his brother, he is always puting tricks, making jokes and teasing everyone, and is mainly by his hand (since his brother can be more calm than him), so even when he is open with his love for you most of the time is in a more joking and teasing manner

Hikaru isn't really shy, whenever you are affectionate with him it depend a little in how you do it, if is a more romantic and innocent way he gets really flustered but try to keep his cool, but if you are flirty or tease him too it doesn't affect him too much and just respond you the same way

Is more likely for him to accidentally kiss you, for how much jokes and teasing he does, is probably that happens in one of those ocations, either for one of you triping or because someone else push him (also it could be that he planned it but make it seem like an accident)

Still, the moment your lips touch his lips he is in shock, it take him a little while to understand what is happening because he mind went blank, his mind isn't even processing that he is just continuing with the kiss and when one of you finally manage to separate he is doing it slowly

Although, once you two separate he is quickly to finally react and will try to come up with a excuse or even try to turning the situation around with either teasing you for blushing over it or say that he isn't affected by it, but his mind is practically a mess, a lot of thoughts and nervous are wandering around like crazy (specially if this is the first time you two kiss) and it would take him a while to stop thinking on it, even gently touching his lips remembering the sweet feeling of yours

However if you two aren't dating yet his reaction don't change much, but in here he will even more nervous trying really hard to come up with an excuse and still blushing like crazy, and he is pretty embarrased by it so he will refuse to talk about it again and will even be pretty aggresive if you or someone else even just make a comment about it (he is kinda mad at himself for what happened)

Kaoru Hitachiin

Even when the twins can be really caotic when they are together Kaoru is more calm than his brother and even a little more mature, still he is pretty affectionate and open with his love (even so he gets a little shy from time to time)

Kaoru can be really affectionate by words and actions, still, aside from the jokes and usual teasing he is pretty calm with it. Also he really likes whenever you are affectionate to him, he gets blushy but that doesn't stop him from reciprocate it, although he gets shy whenever you manage to take him off guard or his brother tease him

Since Kaoru can be pretty caotic accidentally kissing you is something that could happen, but is more likely that some else push him (or you accidentally falling and causing the kiss) than him triping (it is very likely that his own brother is the one "accidentally" pushing him to you to kiss)

Kaoru can be pretty soft and calm, so he prefer cute and soft kisses, so accidentally kissing you make him pretty embarrased as well as really blushy, he tries to react as faster as he can separating from you and start stuttering, the problem is that he is really nervous trying to apologize and asking you if you aren't hurt at the same time, so he is stuttering a mix of both

He has to calm down first to be able to express himself properly, and once he is finally calm he will even laugh at the whole situation, even teasing you if you are blushing or were nervous too. Although if this was the first time you two kiss he will be more embarrassed and it would take him more time to calm down, but once he does he shyly and avoiding your gaze will ask you for a proper kiss

Although if this happens before you two start dating it would take him a long time to calm down, he won't be able to do it soon so he will try to come up with a excuse to run away from you (without making it seem like he is running away) and die for embarrasment elsewhere, even more because he can't stop thinking on the feeling of your lips

Haruhi Fujioka

Haruhi is pretty chill even when it comes to a crush and being in a relationship, she takes things in a calm way, never rushing herself, also she isn't shy at all so she doesn't has much troubles with affection

Haruhi is more of acts of service than physical affection, although she doesn't have much troubles with doing it, still is rare for her to initiate the affection aside from holding your hand while walking around, so is more likely to you to initiate it or at least express that you wish for physical affection

Haruhi isn't exactly clumsy, she had been taking care of herself for a long time so she is really coordinated and organized, so for accidentally kissing you has to be either because of you or someone else, like you triping or someone pushing her

It doesn't take her much time to react (although if this is the first time you two kiss she will be a little more flustered and surprised), and she doesn't let the kiss last long because a kiss as an accident isn't her ideal (also that could lead her to properly kiss you later)

She take it pretty well, apologizing almost imediatly your lips part away, honestly she is more worried over you, asking you if you are alright or if you are hurt because that was practically a blow, and if you are blushing she may not really think that it was for the kiss

Haruhi isn't going to make a big deal out of it, so once is clear that none of you are hurt and both are calm again she will just continue with whatever she was doing, just joking or talking about it if you do it

If is the case that you two aren't dating yet she will be more apologetic, she has a little blush on her cheeks and even when it wasn't her fault she is embarrassed for it, she will still be more worried about you and will try not to make a big deal of it but later she will find out that in her mind it is a big deal because she can't stop thinking on it, the memory of the closeness you two had and the feeling of your lips against hers wander in her mind, still is easy for her to make it seem like she didn't mind it

Tamaki Suoh

Tamaki can be really open and childish while expressing his love for you, but at the same time he is kinda shy when it got in a more serious and direct manner, he can be all the affectionate he want but when you start to get affectionate he becomes really flustered and a little shy

Tamaki always express his love in different ways, by actions, by words, by clinging onto you, by all of that and still it take him a lot from him to be able to kiss you, he may already did it but not on the lips, he kiss the back of your hand, your forehead, your cheeks but nor your lips because the only though of it makes him shy

For how dramatic he can be he can be clumsy from time to time too, specially when he is dealing with his jealousy so accidentally kissing you is something very likely to happen by his own, still there is the chance that is caused by others, like someone pushing him or even the twins trying to put a trick on him

Still the moment it happens for Tamaki is like everything goes in slow emotion without being able to do anything, and the moment your lips touch he become a flustered and blushing mess. Tamaki tries to react quickly but his mind isn't working anymore, you two separate from each other slowly and while it happens Tamaki just want to hide and never come back

Once you two are separate he is desperately trying to come up with a excuse, an explanation or even an apology but he isn't able to form any coherent sentence, is probably that you will have to help him calm down or else he won't be able to do anything for a long time

However if this happens when you two aren't dating yet he will be more apologetic, he is flustered as hell but he is saying a lot of apologies and he is doing it so fast that you barely can understand him, and he seems calm just because it would hit him until later while remembering it, is then when he finally realice in reallity what he had done and he will be so flustered and embarrassed for it that it would take him several days to be able to look you at your eyes again

Kyoya Ootori

Kyoka normally don't show his love for you directly, but it isn't because he is shy is just that he isn't like that, he show it in indirect ways, like looking after you and truly caring for you (although he is the type to be teasing you a lot from time to time)

As well, Kyoka could be pretty annoyed if you are too affectionate with him, he prefers to keep the affection in private or not show it too much, aside from that he doesn't mind too much the affection, either physical, by words or actions, and he from time to time initiate the affection

Kyoka is really organized so from him it could never happen to accidentally kiss you, the problem is that his friends the rest of the club are pretty caotic so isn't difficult to thing that it happen thanks to them (or you too)

When this happens it won't take him long to react, he almost imediatly separate from you (unless someone or something else prevents him from doing so), quickly standing up and fixing himself with a serious expression that quickly will turn into an angry one if someone even talk to him (even you)

Kyoka is mixed between the embarrassed and the anger, he isn't mad at you though he is mad at whoever caused this, and he isn't mad for the kiss, he doesn't mind kissing you but being as an accident isn't his ideal (but if it was the first time you kissed he will be even more angry)

He prefer to don't talk about it again with no one, and will react really bad if someone say something about it (specially with the club because they will try to tease him a lot), but if is you he tries to not be so aggresive and even if you insist on it he probably end up teasing you a lot just before kissing you (properly this time)

If this happens before you two start dating his reaction won't be too different, but in this case he makes sure to apologize after the accidental kiss, and this time he just goes away, although the memory of you two kissing will be wandering his mind and bother him for a while

Ritsu Kasanoda

Even when he doesn't seem like it Kasanoda is really caring and shy, he is a man with a kind heart but his looks and shyness make difficult for him to show his love for you, things could get easily misunderstood and even when you two are in a relationship and he is nervous of making something bad (aside from his normal shyness)

Whenever you are affectionate and caring towards him, even the slighlest it flustered him a lot, quickly making him a nervous wreck, he isn't used to be treaten with such kindness (since he is the son of a leader Yakuza) and since is coming from someone he loves so much it just hit him harder

Kasanoda can be pretty clumsy when he is specially nervous, so kissing you by accident is something that could totally happen from him, is more difficult to happen because someone else push him by accident (unless is after the club helped him change his imagen), no matter how it happen his reaction still will be pretty bad

Kasanoda is too shy to think on kissing you, and even when he does it the only thought make him a flustered and blushing mess, so when it actually happen by accident it make his mind go blank, it took him off guard so it will take him a moment to react and when he does he quickly separate from you while panicing

He may seem angry but in reallity he is panicing, is probably that Kasanoda end up running away trying to hide his inmense blush and embarrasment, and with every step he take the anxiety bothers him more and more. He is hesitant to talk about it to anyone, heck he is even hesitant to talk to you again, now embarrassed not just for what happened but for how he reacted too, at the end, when he finally manage to calm down enough, he will apologize to you for everything (the kiss and his reaction)

Also, if this happen when you two aren't dating yet his reaction will be pretty much the same, just that in this case he will be even more embarrassed (and probably will scare everyone who cross his path), but once he finally start to calm down he will start thinking on confessing his feelings for you

KYOYA OOTORI:

* You usually help Kyoya with the financial aspects of the club, spending your time with him going over the daily funds after club activities

* You also help him out by handing all the merchandise that has been ordered to their fellow clients, since it gets done quicker when you do it because no one crowds around you

* He also makes you get any necessary requirements for any crazy idea Takamaki comes up with next

* When he wants to rest and not be disturbed your in charge of keeping any annoyances away, so they don’t wake him up

* If you ever want to use your time as a personal assistant for work applications, you would go to him to right your evaluation

* And during your time he seems that you did a decent job overall, but when you start getting excited he tells you that on the other hand, you made some dumb mistakes as well, so don’t get to excited

* But in the end he decides he will write an evaluation for your job application when he has the time

* When Kyoya is busy he leaves you in charge of the others because your one of the only people that have actually done his job with him personally

* So he is putting his faith in you and if anything goes wrong your in for a punishment when he comes back

* This is enough to make you take being in charge more seriously, since you have had a handful of punishments and you do not want another one any time soon.

TAMAKI SUOH:

* Your family member role is the cousin, since your part of the family now, Tamaki gave you a title

* When he is having one of his emotional tantrums he comes running to you, especially when the others are teasing him for it

* Your also the one he instructs to help him when he finds a new unfortunate soul in need of helping

* So you end up spending the day with him, trying to help fix this persons problem Tamaki not allowing you to sleep until the both of you do

* He often takes you with him to spy on Haruhi as well and when he gets caught, your there apologising to her, while he cries in a corner

* Which then leads to you comforting him to get him up, so you both can leave

* As the assistant he tried to practice his flirting with you and if you were not affected by it he ended up sulking

* When he’s not around Tamaki has put you in charge of keeping the pesky twins away from Haruhi

* When you go shopping in secret he tells you to buy some pretty clothes for Haruhi to wear

* Which the other members end up over hearing, which he then turns to you to back him up when he starts explaining using the excuse of him being Haruhi’s father figure

* You end up not defending him, which leads to him pouting whenever you enter the room, until you apologise leading him into giving you a suffocating hug

* You tell him that you have work to do to get out of his grip.

KAORU HITACHIIN:

* He usually comes to hang out with you when Hikaru is busy with Haruhi

* Comes to you for help in setting up scenarios, so Hikaru and Haruhi can be alone together

* While the both of you hide watching them and stop Tamaki from ruining there time together

* If Kaoru has gotten hurt during an host club event Hikaru brings him to you where you then bandage him up

* He finds this nice and decides to come help you with some of your activities when he’s alone

* But be warned you do have to take a few minutes out of your day to show him what to do on certain tasks because he hasn’t had much experience doing them

* But he’s not the worst and he does have some idea on what to do, so he’s pretty quick to grasp it once you tell him

* Him and Hikaru sometimes come with you to do the shopping which ends in chaos

* But when it’s just you and Kaoru things are a lot smoother and he even carries some of the shopping bags for you

* And when you thank him for doing that he has a small tint on his cheek having not being used to this sudden genuine praise and tells you that it was no problem at all

HIKARU HITACHIN:

* When Hikaru is around you he’s mainly accompanied by Kaoru this makes it really hard to get any tasks done

* Since the both of them are usually dragging both you and Haruhi off somewhere to do who knows what

* Kaoru eventually gets the hint and tells Hikaru that they should go do something else, making them both leave you to finish off your list of tasks

* When Kaoru gets injured he is very worried for him, but once you fix him up he is very relieved and mumbles out a thank you

* Kaoru as a thank you for helping him was going to help you with the shopping alone, but he has a task that he cannot get out of, so he gets Hikaru to go in his place

* Surprisingly, Hikaru helps you carry the items and when you thank him he tells you not to mention it and not to get used to it

* Before you leave the shop Hikaru drags you over to an aisle to purchase a gift for Kaoru since he couldn’t come

* This shopping trip was actually very peaceful and you try to savour the feeling because the next time they both come your going to end up with a headache from the chaos

* Hikaru along with Kaoru asks you your opinion on what Haruhi would think of these outfits they found for her

* There’s no point telling them not to get them because they won’t listen, but there’s nothing to worry about because most of the time they do pick something she likes

* If she doesn’t like them you end up telling her you tried to talk them out of it, but there was nothing you could do.

TAKASHI (MORI) MORINOZUKA:

* He’s the most relaxed out of the hosts and you both usually just spend time in silence

* While your doing your tasks for the day, he’s sitting there doing his own little thing

* Will occasionally get up if you need any help with carrying something that is too heavy for you to lift or if you need him for something

* You also remind him to tell Honey to brush his teeth because after the time Honey had gotten a cavity you could tell how sad he was, so to repay him for your help you make sure to remind him

* Mori appreciates this even if you can’t tell he really does and he gave you a short thank you once and then went back to being quiet and deadpanning

* When a girl confesses to him and he doesn’t say anything you verbally translate for him and let the girl down gently

* Since sometimes he’s not in the mood to verbally tell them himself, so you decide to try and translate for him

* If you ask him to come he will accompany you shopping and carry the bags for you if they look to heavy,

* Before leaving the shop he always buys some sweets to bring back for Honey if he didn’t come with you both

* Mori shows you the different sweets and points at each one to get your opinion on which ones are the nicest out of all the options

* He also puts in a box of sweets that you seemed to like for you to eat.

MITSUKUNI (HONEY) HANINOZUKA:

* You always carry some type of sweets on you to give Honey in case he runs out and Mori isn’t there to give him any

* This always brightens up his day making him very cheery all because you gave him sweets

* When he has a nap in the club room you make sure no one disturbs him because a grumpy Honey is a scary Honey

* If his bunny Usa-chan rips you put it as your number one priority on your task list to sow Usa-chan back together

* Honey has comical tears coming down his face and jumps on to you shouting cheers of thanks for fixing Usa-chan for him

* When you go shopping he comes with you, accompanied by Mori and sits in the trolley occasionally getting out when he sees something interesting

* Definitely pleads to go to the sweet section before you leave and tells Mori to pick up different candy he points at

* Also tells Mori to get you a pack as well, he may eat a bit of it on you though

* You have to get Mori to tell him that he’s got all these and that there yours

* But he ends up pouting and giving you the puppy dog eyes for you to give him some.

HARUHI FUJIOKA:

* You know she is really a girl because you accidentally walked in on her changing, so after that the other host club members told you to keep an eye out to make sure no one finds out and not to tell anyone

* Haruhi told you to take no notice of them and that she doesn’t really care who knows

* She usually likes to help you with your tasks when she doesn’t have host duty while telling you it’s no problem and she’s happy to help

* Haruhi helping causes a chain reaction by making all the other hosts help out starting with Tamaki this was the quickest you have ever gotten your task list done

* You both usually do the shopping together because she has to get some food for home, so she tags along with you, sometimes complaining to you about the other members getting on her nerves

* She helps you get the best deals on items and your overall shopping cart turns out cheaper than it should have been

* The both of you start arranging to do the monthly shopping on days where the shops are having big sales

* The both of you get dragged to different places by the twins much to her annoyance, so you try and keep her spirits up

* When she escapes one of Tamaki’s bone crushing hugs you hide her in your cleaning cart, so he doesn’t find her which she appreciates

* She repays you by making sure none of the other hosts make a mess of any areas you have just cleaned and if they do she gives them a stern talking to at how they can’t just ruin other peoples hard work like that.

RENGE HOUSHAKUJI:

* Renge usually gets you to help her carry around her cosplay clothes and some days she makes you cosplay with her

* The both of you spend time together planning new plots and boy types the host club members could do since she wants someone that will back her up on her ideas

* So when the members try and protest she can tell them that y/n agrees with her

* You get a lot of lessons about different mangas and games from her with her reasoning being an assistant needs a vast range of knowledge

* Renge made you carry a boom box one time because her motor broke, so she needed something else to do her dramatic entrance with

* When the other host members are busy she comes to hang out with you and won’t accept any excuses, such as you have to finish your tasks for the day

* She tells you that she will just get one of her servants to do it for you and drags your arm to take you somewhere else

* The both of you also have conversations where she keeps you up to date on the thrilling story of a certain love triangle amongst the group

* Explaining it very dramatically with her face filled with excitement

* So she comes up with a plan asking you to help her to move the triangle along and explains the plan to you loads of times, so you don’t mess it up

* But your used to it by now because she normally comes to you every few weeks, interrupting your work to help her with some new plot devices to help the love triangle blossom or any other romantic endeavour amongst the club

RITSU KASANODA:

* He starts hanging out with you while you work because your the least teasing towards him after Haruhi

* Ritsu sometimes asks you for advice on Haruhi and how she’s doing since your an assistant to the host club

* He sometimes helps you with doing tasks, but someone accidentally angers him making him break the object he was helping you clean

* Luckily it was nothing to expensive which is surprising and he apologises to you after his anger starts to simmer down

* He brings you a plant he grew in the school garden which you can use how you like as an apology

* When he starts to control his anger better he is a very big help in finishing your tasks quicker than you would alone

* Before he goes to talk to Haruhi he pops over to you who’s busy cleaning to get hyped up, so he doesn’t embarrass himself

* When he found out Haruhi was a girl you saw him when you were coming back from doing the daily shopping and you helped him process it

* So whenever he thinks he’s going to struggle keeping it a secret he comes to you for reassurance

* But after a few days he stops doing that having fully processed it and decides to do his best to keep it a secret

* If anyone messes up a task you just completed he’s quick to get angry, scaring them away since your nice and he doesn’t want some jerk to ruin your hard work.

UMEHITO NEKOZAWA:

* When your busy cleaning the music room ready for club activities you stumble upon a cat like doll on the floor, which you have been seeing a lot of lately

* So you ask the host club members who it belongs to, so you can return it when suddenly a hooded figure comes out of the dark telling you it’s Beelzenef

* After that day whenever you find Beelzenef on the ground you just knock on the door in the club room and hand it back to Nekozawa

* One day when you were doing your duty Nekozawa called you over to him, curious you walked over

* He decided to tell you about the occult and black magic as a thank you for returning Beelzenef back to him without being scared of him to do so

* You obviously decide to do it and you both have a good time until you have to go back to finishing your tasks

* After that day you can often find Nekozawa staring at you, not to be creepy he just wants to take tips on how to interact with people and you seem like the best one to observe

* This is because being the assistant to the host club must mean you have good charisma skills, but because your not always surrounded by girls your easier to observe

* You asked him one time if he wanted to help you run your shopping errand, but his photophobia gets in the way

* So you decide to take Beelzenef with you, so they can tell Nekozawa all about the trip like he was actually there

* You even pick up some stuff from the store that can help him with his black magic work

* You start doing this every time you go to the store, which he finds really heroic of you, he even thinks of you as an assistant to him as well as the host clubs assistant when it comes to the dark arts.

The hosts are thrilled to know that someone else can put up with his shenanigans. They're even more thrilled to find out that he tends to be more quiet around you.

I swear this man is somehow more overprotective than Tamaki. But not in that "I can't let you go" type of way. It's more "Make sure to take one of my professional bodyguards whenever you go" type of way..

As we all know, Kyoya is in charge of practically everything in the host club. So he always puts on your songs for the time and forces everybody to listen to your immaculate voice. It ain't torture. It's a form of love.

He sadly can't attend any of your concerts, but he's tries to be supportive at home.

He can probably sing, he just doesn't like to. And fair enough. It can make your throat dry after some time.

Which is why he always has cough drops on hand for you. He is always prepared.

He's also in charge of your concerts. He buys the stage, the props, the lights, the employees. He wants the best for the best s/o.

And if people want your signature at school, he makes them pay for it. No matter how many times you beg him not to charge people.

But he can play the guitar.

Also extremely supportive and goes to all your concerts. Doesn't care if the other hosts need him back in the music room. He and his brother will go to your concerts.

Yeah. You heard me. Him and his brother. It's okay though. Koaru is a massive fan. Music wise and relationship wise.

Overall, good relationship. Doesn't help that the boy gets jealous easily.

He can't sing nor can he play an instrument. But he can write surprisingly good songs. The majority of your songs were written by him.

Like his brother, he's literally so supportive of you. He's the more emotional one out the pair and it really shows.

He wants nothing more than for you to love him. You're his s/o afterall.

Someone requested for the person who writes your songs, and all you responded with was, "He is nothing more than a highschool student who I had fallen in love with". Yeah. That started a lot of controversy.

Everyone wanted to figure out who this mysterious highschooler was, when he really was quite popular.

When Koaru told the news to the other hosts, they had apparently already known. Probably cause of Kyoya but yknow. Nine times out of ten, your manager is probably someone who works for the Ootori's

Everyone is overall super loving to see that Kaoru has found someone else he can count on.

This one is gonna be short as all we know is that this guy is a massive, quite teddy bear. That is all.

He LOVES your music. It's something I tries to listen to a lot. If he's alone? Your music. If he gets to pick the song on the radio? Your music. If he has the off chance of picking the sing to play in the music room? Your music. He loves it.

He also loves to pick you up and dance to quite a few songs.

And allow to me admit this but just because he's quiet doesn't mean he's good at singing. I'm sorry. But he probably sucks at singing. He has a nice voice, but he can't understand pitches and tones properly.

He's like your own personal bodyguard instead. A tall mysterious man that's so damn quiet. Not mention handsome.

Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka➛

Despite Honey-Senpai being my favorite character in OHSHC, I don't know what to write.

He loves cake and being cute.

A lot of people underestimate him whenever you're out together that it shocks them when he drop kicks people to ground. Quite literally.

He is a black belt for a reason.

Another personal bodyguard except less intimidating. You know?

A lot of people mistaken him to be your little brother, to the point he has to make it known to the world that he's "s/o's boyfriend".

Overall, a lot of people just see him as this cute bean, when he's more than that.

Yes. He's an adorable bean. But he's also the devil in disguise.

Ritsu Kasanoda➛

This man does not know how to feel.

He tends to be caught up in his own Headspace so he didn't really realize that his s/o was a Popstar. But when he does find out, all he can listen to are your songs.

He's glad he found out. He lives for your taste in music.

He's another personal bodyguard. He's so tall and scary. But then you get to know him and he's soft and squishy with trouble socializing.

There have been a lot of people that admired him for scoring such a hot shot like you, and he can't help but love this attention, but it can be much. He has a private life.

He does all he can do to protect you. You're famous. He has to make sure that you have the best time in your youth.

Overall, all he wants is admiration and to be respected. And while he does get that from a lot of your fans, there have been quite a few who hate him because he got with you. Not that he cares.

All that cares to him is that you admire him. To which you do. He's so strong but a baby on the inside.

Quite possibly the most jealous one out the bunch here.

That's it. I wasn't sure if I should add Renge as yes, she's in the Host club. But she isn't a host nor a hostess. There were a few characters that I had trouble writing for as you can probably tell, but overall they would all be extremely supportive of you.

Only 3 of them would get jealous. Tamaki, Hikaru, Kasanoda.

Suddenly Shy

A Wattpad request. I do not own Kasanoda or any of the hosts. They belong to Bisco Hatori.

Warnings: awkward fluff

Pairings: Ritsu Kasanoda x fem!Suoh reader x Host Club

Kasanoda walked into the Music Room #3 with his head hung low. "Bossanova!" Tamaki cried when he saw the frightening-looking redhead. Kasanoda looked up at the blond prince of the Host Club. "Hello, Suoh-Senpai." Tamaki instantly took notice of the young man's melancholic demeanor. "What's wrong, Casanova?" Honey asked, making Kasanoda glance down at the small boy.

"C-Can you guys teach me how to talk to a girl?" he asked quickly. The hosts all blinked rapidly in confusion, but a smile soon crept onto Tamaki's face. "A girl?! Our Bossanova has his eyes on a beautiful princess!" He was so loud, everyone in the room heard him, causing Kasanoda's face to turn a bright red almost matching his hair. Some of the other girls in the room sighed sadly. Since he'd joined the gardening club and showed his softer side, people weren't really afraid of him anymore.

"Tell me about this girl," Tamaki ordered as he sat down and crossed his legs. Kasanoda glanced up at the ceiling as he thought. "Well, she's pretty, really pretty. She's funny and sweet. She's in the gardening club with me. Other than talking to her about that, I don't know what to say!" The redhead looked back at Tamaki, his eyes pleading with him. "Please, Suoh-Senpai."

Tamaki placed his fingers at his chin and thought. "Tamaki, isn't your sister in the gardening club?" Kyoya asked nonchalantly. He knew Tamaki would use the idea as his own. Tamaki snapped his fingers. "That's it! Bossanova, my sister is in the gardening club too! She has lots of friends! Maybe she could help you talk to this girl you like." Kasanoda shrugged. Who better to get ideas about a girl than from another girl. "It's settled! Hikaru! Kaoru! Go find my sister and bring her here!"

The twins left and returned a few minutes later, dragging you behind them. "Let me go!" Kasanoda froze hearing your voice and, when the doors opened, he thought his face was on fire. "That's your sister?" he asked and Tamaki smiled. "Yes. Isn't she lovely?" Kasanoda cleared his throat. "Y-Yeah. Lovely."

"What is this all about, Tamaki?" you asked before your gaze settled on Kasanoda. "Oh, hello, Ritsu!" you greeted with a smile. "H-Hi, Y/N. I just remembered. I, uh, I have something so do. Gotta go. Thanks for your help!" Kasanoda nearly ran from the room, missing the look of hurt on your face. Of course. Just his luck that he would have a crush on Tamaki's sister! And that you would be the person Tamaki would call to share in Kasanoda's embarrassment. Groaning, Kasanoda leaned against a wall and slid down to the floor.

Meanwhile, in the Music Room #3, you were sitting there in confusion. "What was that all about?" Tamaki frowned. "I'm not sure. Kasanoda asked for our help in to get to know a girl in the gardening club and we thought, since you probably know this girl, that you could help. It's strange that he ran out like that." You hummed sadly. You hadn't expected Kasanoda to have a crush on another girl. You thought he liked you.

"Strange indeed. I wonder why he turned shy suddenly and began stuttering the way he did when you came in," Kyoya mused, his lips turned up into a smirk. "Yeah. And why-"Hikaru began, throwing an arm around your shoulders before Kaoru finished, "Was he blushing so hard? It's not like the girl he likes was in this room." Another arm around your shoulders while you just stood there. You knew what they were doing and you were trying to let it sink in.

Were they saying that Kasanoda liked you? "Maybe she was. You never know. Right, Takashi?" Honey asked innocently, but he was looking at you. "Yeah." You smiled at them all, praying they were right and you were the girl Kasanoda liked. "What are you all talking about?" You broke loose of the twins' hold. Kissing your brother's cheek, you ran from the room. Hopefully, you'd be able to find Kasanoda before he left.

"Seriously, what are you all talking about?" Tamaki asked again. He brought his hand up to his head as he thought about it. The other hosts could almost see the pieces of the puzzle coming together in his mind. "Three...two...one," Haruhi muttered. "I've got it!" Tamaki cried with a snap, then his expression fell. "Wait...Y/N is the one?" The others nodded and Tamaki sighed. "Oh. Well, I suppose. If she's happy. That's okay," he said softly before retreating to his little corner.

Outside, you raced as fast as your legs could carry you. You had to find him. Luckily, it didn't take long. You saw his mop of red hair. "Ritsu!" you cried, making him look over from his spot on the ground. "Y-Y/N?" He quickly stood up and put his hands in his pockets. He was trying to appear aloof. "Ritsu! There. You. Are," you panted. Once more, you cursed the tight yellow monstrosity that was the school uniform.

Kasanoda put his hand on your back, urging you to breathe normally. Once you'd calmed down, you asked, "Why did you run off? Do you really need to get away from me that badly?" He stopped his movement and backed away. "What? No, that's not it at all?!" You almost flinched from the volume of his voice. "Then what was it? I thought you wanted my help."

"I thought I did. 'Til I learned that you were Suoh's sister. Then I didn't. How could my crush help me talk to my crush?!" It only took him a second to realize what he said. His eyes widened and he stared at you. To his surprise, you were smiling. "Ritsu, why didn't you tell me?" He shrugged and muttered something. You cocked your head to side and he took a deep breath.

"Because I didn't think you'd like me back. You're so pretty and I'm so...scary looking." You took his hand in yours. "Ritsu, I do like you. I have for a long time. You may look scary, but you aren't. You are kind and caring, gentle even sometimes." Kasanoda blushed and gave you a soft smile.

"Now, what do you say we go grab something to eat? Maybe get to know one another?" you offered, knowing he'd be too shy to ask for the first date. He looked in your eyes, searching for some tell that this was a joke. He found nothing except sincerity. "Y-Yeah. I'd like that." You leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Great. Let me grab my bag. I'll meet you in the parking garage." You turned and walked back inside, leaving Kasanoda there with his fingers pressed to his cheek.
