Nah, I believe in squeezing every last drop of serotonin out of my beloved media. I know some people say that it’s hard to read pieces of media you loved as a kid as an adult bc some of the magic is lost. I get that, but also? I think there’s all kinds of new magic to be found in beloved childhood works when you reread/rewatch as an adult. Like, now I can actually appreciate certain word choice decisions or camera angles or lighting choices or punctuation… so long story short, I’ll reread and rewatch childhood movies until fate decrees my time is done.

Aloe Vera - what’s something mundane you really want to experience in life?

Sitting in my own kitchen, in a house that I own, and watching a sunrise. Maybe that’s not so mundane, but then, maybe nothing else is truly mundane either.

Nemona would be such a good influence on Kieran it isn't even funny.

Because suddenly, here's this person who is well known across the Paldea region for her battle prowess, so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if she had been offered a scholarship to attend Blueberry. She's enthusiastic, curious, and absolutely battle-crazy. She's strong, so strong in fact that hardly anyone wants to battle her anymore. And the one person who does, it the protagonist.

She's everything Kieran wanted be and more.

But she doesn't pursue victory, like he once did. When she loses to the MC, she's not upset with her own strength. No, she's ecstatic because she had an amazing battle, because she's having fun. She didn't become as strong as she is for strength, she did it for fun.

And Kieran really needs somebody like that after the Indigo Disk, I think.

HI HI HI! I'm back from vacation and have returned to writing. Thanks to everyone who tagged me while I was away! Looking forward to catching up on everything :)

He felt Buck relax back against him. “That’ll take at least an hour to cook.” “I think we can find something to do for an hour.” “I think you’re overestimating our stamina,” Buck said, turning around in the circle of Eddie’s arms and kissing him, soft and sweet but with intention behind it.  “Maybe,” Eddie nipped at Buck’s lower lip, sucking it into his own mouth. “But, I still think you should preheat the oven.” “And what are you going to do?” Buck asked, hands on Eddie’s hips, his thumbs under the hem of Eddie’s shirt. “Make sure the condoms aren’t expired and that we have lube,” Eddie leaned in as he spoke so his lips brushed against the shell of Buck’s ear. Buck’s hands tightened on Eddie’s hips as Eddie spoke.  “I think we can put the lasagna in without waiting for the oven to preheat,” Buck said, moving away from Eddie so quickly that Eddie almost fell over, his chest cold where Buck wasn’t pressed against anymore. Buck looked at Eddie once he had the over set to 350 and was getting the food out of the freezer. “Aren’t you supposed to be doing something right now?” “Yeah, yeah,” Eddie tore his gaze away from Buck and jogged over to the bedroom. The condoms weren’t expired (win) and there was half a bottle of lube (double win), so Eddie pulled his shirt off and tossed it in the general direction of the hamper, then kicked off his sweats not caring where it landed, and laid down on the bed to wait for Buck.  A few seconds later Buck walked into the bedroom, phone in hand where he’d clearly set an alarm for the food, because they were horny and in love, but not stupid enough to start a fire because of it.  “Jesus fucking Chris,” Buck said, stopping in the doorway to look at Eddie.  “Just Eddie’s fine,” Eddie said with a grin. “You gonna join me or what?”

Then the next day Jimmy sees Hermes and calls him a “stupid fucking moron” and Joel kills him and they’re back the same as they used to be

NO NO, SAY IT, UR NOT WRONG!!! there's a reason why they're literally the Basic Upperclass White People Dog. the Two Kids And An InGround Pool Dog. They're the AP flour of dog. They become the shape of whatever mold you put them in.
