The Four Lords with an Oblivious Crush!Reader

Alcina Dimitrescu

-When it comes to having a crush on someone, Alcina is usually very patient. She's not one to get giddy or overly excited, but she does feel a sense of pleasantness when around her crush. That being said, it's very hard for said person to realize her fondness because she is very subtle about it.

-Especially when that someone is as oblivious as you are.

-You don't recognize anything as flirtatious, which upsets her because Alcina always believes that her subtle hints were brilliantly thought out, and then you don't even see it. She tends to sulk a bit afterwards, and you have to pry her on why. Which sucks because Alcina gives up on telling you the exact reason.

-Her daughters try to help in any way they can because their mother has ranted about your oblivious behavior to them, but even those three can't get through to you. They won't tell you about Alcina's feelings out of respect, but they sure as hell give hints.

-One day she can't take it anymore and prepares some wine to tell you about how she feels. Knowing Alcina, it was very dramatic and a lot of words were used. But still, to anyone else, it would have been very straightforward. Except for you, who kept thinking she was talking about friendship.

-It only took four grueling hours for you to get what she was talking about.

-You confessed that you never realized what she was trying to get across and apologized profusely for it. She was a bit strained during this whole exchange but was relieved that it was over and you returned her feelings for you. Now you'll recognize all her gestures were coming from love.

Donna Beneviento (and Angie)

-Donna is extremely shy when it comes to having a crush on someone and it all stems back to her insecurities. She never feels like she's good enough for someone to love, but Donna is trying to push herself to express her feelings to that person she likes. But she is very very subtle about it, which doesn't help anyone.

-Especially you, who can never recognize a hint.

-And it's not always your fault because Donna isn't even the best at giving hints. Everything she does would be considered friendly, even by a person who isn't as oblivious as you. She would make you things, fix things for you, and make you all this tea. You interpret it a lot differently than how she's trying to display it as. Every time after, she would go to her room and just stare out the window.

-Angie is way more upfront about the whole situation, but the funny part is that she never brings up Donna's feelings. The doll just gets angry at you for "not getting it", which you don't understand in the slightest. Donna has to come and apologize with a red and flustered face.

-It takes Donna literal months before she realizes that this isn't going to work and she needs to just make the first move, which honestly scares her even more. She just wants to do it fast like ripping off a band-aid. It would be just Donna's luck that she would have to explain herself over and over again because you didn't understand what she was trying to say (due to her mumbling and your obliviousness).

-Four hours later and she's an emotional puddle on the floor.

-You were embarrassed for her and yourself as well for not noticing her advances (which weren't too much to be honest). Now you both were being kind of awkward as you tried to explain your own feelings for her. Each time she does something for you now, you pay extra close attention to it because you want her to know you understand now.

Salvatore Moreau

-Moreau is a big bundle of love when it comes to having a crush on somebody. Not only that, but he gets a crush quite easily. All it takes is a smile or a laugh before his attention is just on you. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and he's not one to give up when it comes to giving signs. Moreau is oddly patient which is good because it's going to take him a while to get the message across.

-You were a very oblivious person when it came to things like this.

-However, sometimes Moreau doesn't even realize that you didn't understand what his little gestures meant. He's so excited to give you more affection that he didn't know it went over your head. In your eyes, he was just being really nice to you since adjusting to life in this area had been hard. You didn't even realize that his affections go much farther than that.

-Eventually though, Moreau recognizes that his gestures aren't doing anything. He isn't stupid no matter what Heisenberg says. He starts to realize that he's going to have to take another approach. Unlike the other lords, he doesn't get nervous or embarrassed when it comes to things like this.

-It was easy for him to sit with you and explain his growing feelings outright. Moreau was direct and concise, probably adding more words than needed, but he was just that kind of guy. He thought was easily getting the point across and that it was going to end well. Moreau didn't expect you to be as dense as you are, no offense.

-It took him a whopping four hours for you to realize his crush.

-At this point, he was beyond exhausted yet relieved that you finally knew. You felt a little embarrassed that he had to explain all this just for you to understand how he feels. With that in mind, you were a little flustered as well. But you were grateful. Now, things can have a more special meaning.

Karl Heisenberg

-If Moreau is a ball of love, then Heisenberg is a vacant field of isolation. He's never had a "crush" on anyone or he might just crush himself. To him, love is a weakness that needs to be eradicated. And perhaps that view of thinking stems from the fact that he didn't know or understand any form of real love. But when he gets a crush on you, he's in for a ride.

-Because you are the densest and most oblivious person he knows, and it kills him.

-Heisenberg didn't know how to give hints about how he feels towards you because he's never experienced this before. To be honest, your obliviousness was most likely also due to his inexperience. Still, it gets him frustrated that his little acts of kindness go unnoticed because that's just how Heisenberg is when it comes to things not going his way.

-The more this goes on, the more Heisenberg fears that he will have to speak up about it otherwise it was going to drive him nuts. He can't handle his emotions very well, so sometimes his aggression is directed from his inability to handle how he feels about you. He'll also self-isolate which also gives you the wrong impression. But it's the sit down with him that's kind of scary for you.

-Because of the obliviousness, he has to sit with you face to face in order to get the message across. Not only that, but you have no clue what he's about to discuss with you because you never recognized the signs he was giving. Frankly, it was because he also didn't hand out many signs. Heisenberg was stubborn, stuttering, and overall nervous as he told you how he felt. Which also didn't work in his favor.

-This led to four hours of him having to repeat and explain himself.

-He thought his face was going to melt from how hot it was. Congratulations, you have finally broken Lord Heisenberg's walls and turned him into a puddle of mush. He sincerely hopes you return the feelings for him otherwise he will just combust and probably smush himself under a piece of scrap metal. You were probably just as flushed as he was about the realization, promising to be better about it from now on. Give him a hug and he will explode.

Moreau deserves some love and appreciation in the fandom, so why not give some cute hcs about him and his family or just fluff in general ?

ohhh Moreau fluff!! I have a couple of things and I agree he nearly doesn't get enough attention in the fandom

He really loves his family but being around them is very stressful for him. He's okay with Donna though, because she's naturally quiet and doesn't make him feel as anxious. Alcina and Heisenberg are different because they are both loud and they are always yelling at each other.

It's why Moreau normally visits Miranda alone. He loves her and doesn't want to actually skip on family gatherings but Alcina and Heisenberg are too much for him to deal with.

He adores his nieces and occasionally he visits the castle to see them. Unfortunately, both Cassandra and Daniela are loud and a bit chaotic, and Bela is the only one who seems to know he doesn't like noise and tries to keep her voice low to accommodate him (Dani tries but it doesn't last for long, and Cass fails before she even tries so she doesn't bother)

While mostly quiet, he knows what his nieces' favorite things are, and he's always getting them the best gifts for their birthdays and for Christmas.

Despite being a recluse, he loves his family a lot. And while he isn't one for using words, he is always sending gifts and the like to those he cares about.

He would really appreciate it if Alcina kept her voice down, but his sister is loud in nature and he can't help but cower in trepidation when in her presence (and sadly her daughters seem to take after her in that regard).

When it's summer, he invites the daughters to the reservoir where they can enjoy swimming and spending time outdoors, and having fun.

While the girls swim and play, he busies himself cooking their favorite food (that he can make) and he enjoys watching them from the window of his kitchen. They are within sight, but he can barely make out what they; 're saying thanks to the distance.

He tells Alcina he will bring the girls back home by sunset but it's always well into the night when that happens. It's usually because they end up watching a movie or two and before they know it, it's gotten late.

Alcina doesn't get as mad as he'd expect. She could tell her daughters were having fun, and she'd let it slide that they were returning home so close to bedtime.

Generally, he loves spending time around his family but he'd rather visit them one at a time instead of being in a place with everyone because it can get very overwhelming for him.

Mother Miranda

The bird mommy herself. A true lady. Gothic aesthetic and all.

I think she would be an avid croc hater

I mean, she works in a lab, closed toe shoes. They’re not very practical for experimentation or any thing else

Plus her other outfit is goddess apparel or old hag.

I just can’t see her enjoying them whatsoever. They clash with her whole vibe.

If offered, Miri would most surely wrinkle her nose and scoff at the very notion.

“Ugh. Begone, mortal. The day you goad me into those atrocities of footwear is the day I surrender my subconscious to the megamycete,” Mother Miranda waves you off with a flick of a taloned hand.

Mia left a pair in the lab once and she tried them on. They remind her.

Salvatore Moreau

Fish man!

Moreau would be a huge fan.

Seriously, he lives in constant sogginess. A pair of shoes that can fit his deformed and damp feet would be welcome.

He pads around the reservoir in crocs all the fricking time

Over time, the sound of the rubber squelch becomes associated with his approach.

He would be gifted his first pair, but soon amass a bit of a collection- his favorites are the blue pair and the black one, but he’s also got green.

(In the church) *squish squish squish squosh squish* “hi, mother!” Moreau garbles. “Like ‘em?” He asks, gesturing to the tye dye crocs currently adorning the lower half of his slimy body.

He doesn’t wear them in public after Mother Miranda glared at them though

Heisenberg

My guy isn’t the biggest fan of crocs, they just don’t work for him

The factory is difficult enough to manage in steel toed boots. Rubber slippers are not ideal.

I think he wears them solely to meetings to piss off Mirander (it works every time)

He was approached by his nieces with a pair of solid black crocs, and they were too insistent for him to deny them entirely.

Heisenberg thinks they’re fine, simply not his cup of tea though.

“Fuck!” The lord curses, his voice echoing against the metal walls of the factory for the fiftieth time. “Damn pieces of junk.” Heisenberg mutters after dropping a piece of scrap onto his croc bearing toes once more.

Alcina Dimitrescu

No.

Just no.

Absolutely not.

Lady Dimitrescu , the countess, the favorite of Mother Miranda, mother of three, would not be caught dead in such apparel.

It’s less that she has an issue with their design, and much more that she’s disgusted with the thought of looking so undignified.

She wouldn’t be threatening anyone when she whips her crocs into sports mode before unsheathing her mighty claws.

Alcina doesn’t mind them on others, but not her. She’s a noble lady and far above such peasantry.

Also they don’t make them in her shoe size.

“What…” she drawls, looking scornfully down at the maiden presenting her with such blatantly hideous shoes, “are those?”

Donna Beneviento

The dollmaker and illusionist ~

Donna is chill, I’d imagine she wouldn’t have too strong an opinion on crocs

She owns a pair in black and likes to wear them around her workshop

They’re quite comfy, and since she’s not always on her feet, they serve as very nice house slippers

She likes to pair them with fluffy socks to really get the full coziness effect

Besides, her skirt is long enough where they’re not really noticeable

A quiet melody sways within the air of Lady Beneviento’s workspace. Humming to herself as she worked and Angie looked over her shoulder. Dexterous hands wield pliers to work the last bit of wire into the joints of her newest creation. And as a finishing touch, a mini croc is slid onto this doll. A small smile quirks her lips beneath the veil.

“I want some!” Angie shrieks once she sets eyes on the crocs.

Bela Dimitrescu

The eldest of the flies, and the blondest

Bela follows in her mother’s footsteps on this one, she despises crocs.

She simply doesn’t see the appeal.

They’re rubber, they’re not particularly fashionable, and they clash with the lace of her dress.

Eyeing her sister up and down, Bela just scoffs judgmentally before walking away.

Daniela Dimitrescu

She is the biggest crocs person ever.

She absolutely loves them, much to her sister and Mother’s dismay.

Dani just thinks they’re the coolest thing ever

You don’t have to lace them, there’s different modes, and you can decorate them??? What more could you ask for!

She had a whole wardrobe. I think she had every color. Depending on the occasion, she mixes and matches.

Dani is also big on jibbitz.

“Look!” The ginger squeals excitedly as she swarms into a maid’s face. “It’s a fly!” Dani says with a delirious giggle, shoving the new charm into the frightened woman’s vision.

Cassandra Dimitrescu

The ravenette of the trio

Cassie likes crocs a normal amount

She doesn’t own her own pair of course, the only reason she ever wears them is to snatch them from Dani and make her mad

She also delights in how Bela and her mom glare down at her whenever she wears them

All in all, Cass doesn’t wear them as a fashion choice, she wears them for the drama

“Hehehe, you’re coming with me,” Cassandra whispers to herself as she steals Daniela’s prized flamingo print crocs from her room.

It’s my own personal belief/theory that the village does not celebrate Christmas or the typical American holidays and instead have their own built around the lords and Mother Miranda so here’s

Reader introducing the Lords to Christmas

Alcina Dimitrescu

Alcina is the only one of the lords (canonically, as far as we know) that isn’t from the village and is most likely from America or somewhere else in Europe so she certainly knows about Christmas it’s not anything new to her. She’s probably even done a Christmas Jazz album from her singing days. But it’s been years since she celebrated it.

So when you bring up the idea of celebrating Christmas with your love, she is surprisingly into the idea. Granted it will be no different from the typical winter festival in the village and castle but what’s a few decorated firs and extra ribbon gonna hurt.

Alcina is a horrifically wonderful gift giver. She pays close attention to you whether you know it or not and always knows the perfect gift for any occasion. She gives big and sentimentally in ways that you yourself didn’t even know you liked something. Plus it’s expensive.

When you teach her daughters about Christmas they are all into the idea. Krampus and Dirty Santa/White Elephant being their favorite Christmas traditions. Plus hot cocoa. They’d kill for it. Just… don’t get your mug mixed with theirs… they add blood as an extra ingredient.

Alcina’s favorite thing is playing Christmas songs remembers on the piano for you with you humming or singing along. She’s still very much musical and loves sharing her hobby with you. A little holiday twist makes it even more special.

Donna Beneviento

Donna is a little apprehensive when you first mention Christmas to her. She doesn’t understand it entirely but she’s willing to learn. And once she figures it out? She becomes a huge Christmas freak.

She loves to create things and is very crafty besides doll work so Donna has her house decked to the nines in pretty garland, lights, cranberry and popcorn strings, paper chains, her dolls even have festive dresses. Angie is a huge fan of the glitter. She loves whenever she can get her hands on it and will sprinkle it throughout the house.

So I hope you like glitter.

Donna is eager for you to teach her everything about Christmas. She thinks it’s such a beautiful holiday and loves all the decorations. Doing up a tree is her favorite part. Especially to do with you. Handmade and special ornaments with your names on them.

Her second activity is baking different dishes with you. Sweet, savory, her favorite recipes, your favorites- everything! Christmas is her new favorite holiday.

Salvatore Moreau

Once again, Sal is a Christmas newbie. He’s apprehensive similar to Donna but rather because he’s so loyal to the village’s holidays that he was raised on rather than it being so unknown.

But! You’ve celebrated all his favorite things with him in the past so he decides to give this Christmas thing a shot.

He may not be into the decorations or the cooking but he loves all the fun songs that you teach to him. The silly ones about this Santa Claus man and the reindeer, especially the red nosed one.

His ultimate favorite is the porcelain light up Christmas village.

Sal starts to collect (and even try his hand at making his own) porcelain houses and people. He’ll ask for your thoughts on it and different ideas on what to do with it.

Karl Heisenberg

Karl does not give you a chance to tell him about Christmas. He asks you before you can bring it up. He’s so desperate to know about things outside of the village, he’s just barely picked up radio stations, read books, and seen a few movies before mentioning Christmas. Not to mention a few of the other big holidays as well. So Karl asks you about them all.

Christmas rolls around and he’s more or less all in. He’s not as ooohed and awed by the decorations or cooking (but he’s happy to step back and let you so that if you want and he’d certainly participate if you asked him to, he’d do anything for you).

However- he is wildly into light displays.

Especially if he can make them himself.

Yeah he’s big into lights on your home (or the factory), full Christmas Vacation Clark Griswold esc, so many lights your power supply is going to be straining…

But he likes the 2D (sometimes 3D) light displays that he can make himself and attach lights to make cool pictures and animations. With you as his creative muse of course. He doesn’t know as much about Christmas so he’s relying on you and your expertise to direct him. And it’s another way to spend time with you while he works.

Mother Miranda

While Mother Miranda is from the village, she’s existed long before the lords and was part of the time when the village still celebrated national holidays. She’s only somewhat familiar with modern traditions due to seeking out further technology and help in her experiments so she’s spent time outside the village.

She’s not exactly thrilled when you bring it up. She cares for you dearly but Christmas? It’s been so long, she barely partakes in the new celebrations the villagers made up for her and her lords, Christmas was Eva’s favorite….

You have your ways and convince her regardless, just at least to take a small break from working so tirelessly. Compromise is a huge thing in a relationship with Miranda, often meeting in the middle between something and nothing at all.

Miranda no longer cares for holiday specific tradition or decorations or food or games- a silently left (simple yet surprisingly heartfelt) gift being left behind on a table for you one morning is more her speed.

Her secret favorite Christmas activity is sharing stories with you that she grew up on- Christmas folk tales that floated around the village every year over a century ago. A history that she’s likely the last to remember. It’s very special to her to get to share it with you.

can i request something’s for Resident Evil 8? maybe reader is a shape shifter, but their main shift is a cat? (preferably a smaller one so they can sneak around)

and at one point the reader sits at one of the lords meetings just to eavesdrop, no particular reason. basically they’re just a free roaming cat and go where they’d like, as long as they’re not caught.

Moreau, when he spots you, will inevitably start to coo at you, doing his best to coax you closer. He wants to pet you, and if you let him, he'll shower you in treats in praise about what a lovely kitty you are. He's not nimble enough to catch you if you don't want him to though.

Donna is a little less persistent. When you decide to adventure through her manor and catch her eye, she'll often just watch you for a long moment. She's too worried about scaring you off to reach out. On days when she's a little less lost in her head, she'll set out food or milk for you.

House Beneviento is not a place of peace for you though. Angie will run at you to try and pet you and tug at your tail. With how quick she is, she's harder to dodge, as well.

The castle is perhaps even more dangerous perhaps.

Alcina tends to do little past noticing you. She's a busy woman who doesn't have time to be chasing after strays. Although if you find your way into her room or office, she'll speak to you, venting about business problems.

The girls are terrors though. They absolutely love you and will do their best to catch you. If they do, inevitably they'll try to keep you as a pet.

Bela seems the nicest at first, coaxing you to her with treats and soft words. But she also owns cages and collars, trapping you in her room if you let her too close.

Cassandra never tries to lure you close, she enjoys chasing you too much. Your cat form is small enough that you can usually evade her, but the thrill of the hunt always seems to make her faster.

Daniela tries to sneak up on you. If you let your guard down in the castle, she'll jump out at you, trying to bundle you off to her room without her sisters seeing. She has also dubbed you Mittens, regardless of how you respond to this.

The castle is perhaps better than Heisenberg's factory though. Between the Lycans that surround it and the soldats within, you'll find yourself threatened at every turn.

Heisenberg himself rarely pays much attention to you around town, but after you managed to get into his workshop, you caught his attention. He was impressed with how clever you must have been to get there.

He'll let you go as you please, but when you are there, you can expect something to eat, a hand scratching under your chin, and an explanation on his new experiments.

Finding your way into a lords' meeting was an adventure. There were regularly Lycans everywhere, keeping guard. But you've been evading them for as long as you've lived here.

You found a nice vantage point where you could lay down and listen. For a few meetings, you simply rested there, without being noticed.

At least you thought so. Once, after the lords left, Mother Miranda looked up at you, directly catching your eye.

You decided to avoid the next meeting.

The Four Lords Learning that the Reader Has Feelings For Them

Alcina Dimitrescu

-She would learn about your feelings through her daughters, who snooped through your diary. Of course, she would scold them and lecture them on privacy because that's the mature thing to do. Afterwards, she would have time to ponder on this information.

-Alcina would feel a sense of pride that she has such an effect on you. But at the same time, she would feel uncertainty. She's been alone and not in a relationship for so long. Should see act on this? Keep it a secret? If anything, she needs a long time to think.

-While she's holding this information to herself, her attitude doesn't really change around you. However, if anything, she is just a bit softer. All of your little actions make sense now, so she can't be annoyed if you avoid eye contact or anything like that.

-She would poke and proud a bit at your personal life in order to try and get you to spill. Alcina is crafty at little games like that, and you normally fall for them. However, this time it's a bit tricky as you seem exceptionally good at avoiding the truth she desperately wants to hear.

-In the end, she eventually tells you the truth. Not only does she want to hear it from you, but you deserve to know that you have been snooped upon and the events that happened afterwards. From here, you can either deny her claim or speak the truth. It all depends on if you think she will return the feelings.

Donna Beneviento (and Angie)

-She would learn through Angie, who happened to eavesdrop on you talking to yourself about your feelings for Donna. The little doll has no sense of morals, so she didn't care about spilling your secret. Donna, on the other hand, wished that it was kept a secret to stop the awkwardness from building up in her chest.

-Donna would feel panic because no one in her lifetime has ever felt this way for her. It's not that she thinks she's unworthy of it (even though it's crossed her mind with her scars), but rather that it was unexpected, and now she has to examine herself to see how she feels about you.

-She is the absolute best at keeping secrets, but she hates it when secrets involve her. Donna is usually quiet, but now she is more quiet than normal. She starts to hide around because it's hard to face you while she's dealing with her own emotions. She also tries to distract herself with things, but it doesn't really work.

-You're the one that starts to get concerned, not even realizing or thinking about what Donna knows. You try to get her talk, to see what's wrong. She knows you only care about her and just want to help, but it's so hard for her to deal with feelings that she's never had to deal with before. She just needs a lot of time.

-Eventually, Angie's had enough and screams out the information because she can't take all the secrecy and so forth. Donna gets all embarrassed as do you, so the silence is loud. It stays that way for a while until one of you is brave enough to speak up, which can maybe lead to the start of something interesting.

Salvatore Moreau

-He would learn by accidentally hearing you say it to a fellow lord. Honestly, you didn't think his hearing was that good or you never would've have spoken to Donna after Mother Miranda left. Moreau feels intense guilt from this, knowing he should never have found out this information this way, but he couldn't help his curiosity when he heard his name brought up.

-Moreau would feel ecstatic and a huge bundle of excitement. Someone actually likes him! Thinks he's worth something important to them! He's a hopeless romantic, so he doesn't have to think very long about his feelings for you. Moreau knows how he feels, but he doesn't want to scare you away, so he stays quiet.

-He's the worst at keeping secrets, especially when they involve him or you. The man just wants to tell you what he knows, how he feels and how he knows what you feel. But at the same time, maybe you're holding back for a reason. And Moreau doesn't want to pressure you into an uncomfortable situation, even though his heart is telling him otherwise.

-Huge hints start being pulled by him about how he feels about you in hopes that you will get the courage to tell him about your own emotions. His actions, wording, and other small romantic gestures start being displayed to you. If you don't notice, then you're blind. However, your red face would say otherwise.

-Eventually, he just tells you how he feels, pretending to have never heard you speak to Donna. Apparently, that would be a good confidence booster for you because you now hold the power to accept or reject his feelings. But you know how you feel, and now how he feels. You have nothing to deny.

Karl Heisenberg

-He would find out through sheer intuition. Heisenberg would notice your actions, your reactions to things, and put it all together. Can he be certain that you have feelings? No. But then he decides to pull a card and snoop a little just to confirm his own puzzle. Of course, some wording from you in a secret little journal was right, you did have feelings for him. His intuition was right.

-Heisenberg would feel, well, in denial. There was no way that you could actually feel something for him. He was too much of a monster. But at the same time, he hoped that his stubbornness to deny this would be proven false. If anything, he feels extremely vulnerable because someone has opened their heart to him. Now it's up to him to decide if he will open his heart back, which absolutely terrified him.

-Lucky for him, he's great at acting like he knows nothing. Heisenberg can go about his daily life without acting differently because of the feelings you have for him. He has to admit though, he catches himself getting flustered more often, which he hates and loves at the same time. It just goes to show how vulnerable and soft you've made him feel.

-Soon, he tries to take advantage of the situation. If you really have feelings for him, you will show it like you have been. So, he starts to tease you, get closer to you, and so forth. He knows he's just making himself more vulnerable, feeling more things towards you, but he's actually starting to like it. He likes the warm fuzzy feelings that are starting to appear in his cold-hearted chest. Soon, he won't be able to contain it.

-Eventually, his change of behavior brings your curiosity. However, it's still a race to see who will say something first, you or him. Heisenberg actually has less patience than you, so he brings this whole situation to light, giving you a whole speech how he doesn't care how you feel, but he needs to say how you feel. In reality, he was readying himself for the rejection his mind thought he would have to receive. He was glad his heart told him otherwise.

RE8 Headcanon for Donna Beneviento!! Well… a theory about her parents and their death.

GAME SPOILERS AHEAD!! Tw: Mentions of suicide, grief and mental illness

So what if Donna’s parents didn’t kill themselves purely out of grief or even with the intention to end their lives? Usually that’s something maybe one parent would do then maybe months or years later the other one follows through but it’s implied that they went together.

What if after Donna’s sister (Claudia) had died to the failed cadou implantation, Mother Miranda still wanted to test on Donna, but her grief-stricken parents declined and denied Miranda permission to come near their only remaining child. So Mother Miranda, furious, develops the hallucinogenic flowers and weaponises them against Donna’s parents. They potentially hallucinate their deceased daughter is alive and are at the top of the waterfall next to the house (which they are unaware of the waterfall and think it’s the forest or something), to which they are led to jump off the waterfall in belief that their daughter is right in front of them.

Miranda then waits for a good amount of time (say about 20 years, which she can afford to do given her immortality) and lets the grief consume Donna and create an extreme situational isolation paired with a development of severe untreated social anxiety (previously managed with Angie, however no appropriate adolescent or adult management like medication or actual therapy came into play, creating more isolation as everyone saw her as mentally unstable and socially inept) before preying on her years later at her most vulnerable.

Idk I feel like there’s no way her parents, especially her father who clearly loved her and took the time to make her things to help with her initial mental illness, would just end themselves TOGETHER while leaving their sweet Donna by her lonesome without an adult at age 9/10 (if Claudia was her twin sister then their death likely would have come briefly after hers), like even if the gardener was able to watch over her a little bit… the poor girl would’ve had so many milestones and life changes (ESPECIALLY if she was pre-pubescent uterus-owner when her parents died) that she had to deal with by herself with very little guidance aside from maybe educational (outdated) books lying around the Beneviento house :(

Oh god and she wouldn’t have known they were even hallucinating and that they genuinely abandoned her and that she felt that they never loved her enough to stay with her :’(

In your human/modern au, what's the lore behind Miranda and the Lords ? How did they end up as a family ?

In trying to stay in line with the game canon (Miranda being in Romania since ages ago) I’d say that she is actually related to Alicia so when Alcina’s biological parents died, Miranda stepped in and adopted her right away.

At that point, Alcina was probably old enough (in her teens) to inherit the family's generational wealth because she is from a noble bloodline. Also, I believe that Miranda is a close relative, like an aunt or something, so as soon as Alcina's parents passed away she stepped in and adopted her right away. As for the others, Miranda did adopt them at different stages because she had connections to their families. I reckon that

Donna and Heisenberg were quite young when they were adopted. Again, I think Miranda met them when she was traveling on business; she has many acquaintances across Europe because of her influence and these two are children of people she knew personally. She probably adopted Donna when she was around twelve or thirteen, while Heisenberg was younger at around ten or eleven years old.

As for Moreau, I’d say Miranda met him when he was in his early teens. A recluse genius who presented outstanding research that caught Miranda’s eyes and she decided to take the boy into her family instead of letting him rot in an unknown facility where he’d probably end up in bad situations (he is a recluse even more than Donna and even with Miranda and his siblings he often hides in the shadows and feels very nervous in any gathering)

Lycan Varients Lycan Varients Lycan Varients-

Note: these are all rough sketches/concepts so if it's a mess thats why.

Note note: I'm fully aware lycans aren't actually werewolves/werecreatures/are usually mostly humanoid/ect, these are my headcanons/concepts for my current comfort media and I am having fun.

Drawings/info under the cut

Lycans and Lycanity as a whole are among the most common mutations in the Village and surrounding areas. These creatures often form their own packs or other group settlements, usually lead by a Urias variation or the strongest of the group if one is not available. The most common of these are standard or Lowland types, these are the ones found throughout the main village and surrounding forest.

However, lycans that live in proximity to or within the domain of one of the four lords tend to mutate in different ways to suit said environments, sometimes with the direct influence of the areas lord. These are as follows

Castle/Harpy variant

These are perhaps the furthest from a standard lycan, made for flight and climbing, as well as airborne hunting. These are exclusive to the area of Castle Dimitrescu and the surrounding mountain and cliffs. They evolved in such a wild fashion due to Alcina not wanting to be involved with such creatures, leaving them to grow and change on their own.

Their hind legs are incredibly strong to aid in take off, and their tail is both prehensile and helps them steer in the air. Similar to the castle denizens, they feed on blood and flesh, using their hollow tongue to drink, and their strong jaws which are capable of opening at a ninety degree angle to rip through flesh and crush bones. There's the vestigial remains of human fingers on the edges of their wings. They live in matriarchal flocks lead by one or two strong female memories.

Common mutations within these variations include: compound eyes, non developed wings or extra wings, multiple tongues or ears, and serrated wing edges.

Valley/Mist/Wraith Variant

Known as the ghosts of the Valley, the lycans of the area surrounding Beneviento Estate are rarely seen and few in number. These evolved for life within the mists, and work to scare away trespassers. They're more civil than other lycan variations, and keep to themselves unless someone enters their territory. They use bones from the surrounding graveyard to decorate themselves.

They have developed long, whispy fur that blends into the mist and looks like dress clothes, and incredibly fragile skin thats prone to cracking. These cracks leak both black liquid and black mist that can create illusions to confuse, distract, or frighten prey and intruders. It isn't certain what they're societal structure is, as they're rarely seen.

Common mutations within these variations include: extra limbs or elongated limbs, lack of eyes, full body fur, lack of lower jaw or elongated lower jaw.

Reservoir/Kelpy Variant

Living within the reservoir and underground tunnels, these lycans have left behind most of their humanoid features. They mostly in water, but are capable of coming onto land for short durations. They're known for their pack hunting in both water and on land if it comes to it.

These have developed for a more aquatic life style, with webbed front and back feet, a rudder like tail, otter like fur, gills, and fins. They have camouflaging fur that resembles underwater plants, and a sail along their back that helps them sense vibrations in the water. They live in pods similar to dolphins or whales with no distinct leader.

Common mutations within these variations include: extra eyes, fused hind legs, tentacles, fleshy growths, long bioluminescent whiskers.

Factory/Junkyard/Frankenstein variant

The most varied and most versatile of the lycans, the factory variant lives within the Junkyards and fields surrounding Heisenbergs factory. He was very hands-on with their evolution and development, through both experimentation and selective breeding in some cases. They're capable of following simple commands and can do menial tasks if asked.

There's no real standard for this variant, as they both absorb metal into their bodies, thus altering their appearance, or are whisked off to the factory on occasion and modified. The only standard is their short fur and bipedal stance, along with dexterity. They are capable of making and using tools and weapons, making them effective hunters. They live in factions of their own, each with leaders, but ultimately answer to Heisenberg (who is thought to be some subset of a Urias, who didn't take on the form due to his other mutations taking priority within his body), as do the lowland packs.

Anywho, onto the fluff!!!

- During the warmer months and when Moreau or Donna get some new movies, the other lords get invited and the dimi sisters. And they have movie night under the stars or in Donna's basement. Surprisingly, Karl and Alcina try their best not to argue during this time

- Karl and Donna hang out. Sometimes, they share ideas regarding their crafts

- Daniela and Donna talk shop (plants and all the nature care stuff :3)

- Cassandra and Alcina, they have tea/wine and they just paint or sketch. each other's company and silence is sometimes enough for the both of them or they chat about science (Bela joins to when she can but science isn't her main interest) - Cassandra and Moreau sit on the dock, watching the fish in the water or the sunrise together - Karl, Sal, and the duke fish together on every other Saturday - Karl and the girls help pitch in (mainly Karl cause he makes the most trips to Sal's territory) fixing up the fish man's home, the best they can or make sure his stuff is covered with protective material, so that way it lasts longer than a day or two - none of them like celebrating their rebirths, so when their actual birthdates roll around, they put their duties aside and just spend time together or just by themselves (the sisters included, and they only know their actual birthdays because Alcina told them) now for what dear mate asked for. MM being less of a bitch >:3

Miranda gifting the occasional wheel of cheese and a blanket to Sal and listening to him ramble about his movies

Miranda asking Karl about his Soldats and how his Lycans are doings. and if he still creates little metal figures

Miranda letting the Dimi trio carry her around in crow form and do crow things

Miranda and Alcina drinking wine together (sometimes just wine tasting) and listening to music while reminiscing about their pasts, they enjoyed and miss

Miranda and Donna gardening together or like taking care of the gravestones on Beneviento's property

Dating the REVillage lords because I played it this weekend and I’m in a MOOD

Lady Dimitrescu is a woman of Standards and you have met them, but you also need to maintain whatever is making her happy. She’s here to commit, so having a fling isn’t going to do it for her.

Donna is clingy but weirdly protective. She will have you trapped in an illusion for a month or so to make sure you would really like her, but also have trouble letting you out of it and might need someone else to push her towards that.

Moreau is probably one of the more normal ones to date. Like Donna, he’s clingy, but he’s at least not tricking you into anything. Enjoy your stay-in movies with cheese dates.

Assuming you can get Heisenberg to pay attention to you for five minutes, his attentions come out in the weirdest ways. He also totally makes a necklace out of his family’s crest and offers it as a gift.

Resident Evil Village Villains as Youtubers Headcanons

Lady Dimitrescu → “Miss D Forever”

Miss D “covers” and original songs

even has an own music label

her comment sections mostly consist of “Wow! You sound exactly like Miss D!” / “You’re the best Miss D cover singer I’ve heard in my life!” / “Finally a modern singer who can capture that 20′s jazz vibe! Bravo!” etc.

her music videos are mostly shot in Castle Dimitrescu

the maidens appear as backup dancers in her music videos. Their choreographies are always a sight to behold, but something about the way they smile thoughout their performances feels... off... as if they’re deeply scared of something and trying to hide it. Not that the viewers care.

Lady D loves the positive feedback she gets from her viewers. It’s not quite the same as touring with the Pallboys, but it’s close.

one of the things she likes most about her YT career is that she can reach and interact with fans from all over the world

thanks to the help of her daughters, she got used to the internet and Youtube rather quickly, but she still needs some help from time to time

since Cassandra never shows the faces of her victims and edits their voices, it’s nearly impossible to identify them. The fact that her videos are all black-and-white doesn’t help either.

Daniela → “Dani’s Daily Dimisaster”

prank videos. Lots and lots of prank videos. And fail compilations.

the most active YT channel of the RE 8 villains (at least one upload every day)

no one is safe from her, not even her mother. The only exception is Miranda.

most of her pranks are harmless, but when she’s in a bad mood...

the maidens always put up with her bs, no matter how nasty it gets. Why? Well, even her worst “pranks” are preferable to what she does to you when you tell her to stop...

Donna & Angie → “Chromavoid”

art tutorials and home videos with some gardening vids sprinkled in between

Donna is great at explaining things and many of her videos could double as ASMRs, but most people watch her videos for Angie.

“You animated the doll so well! That’s the best CGI I’ve ever seen!” / “The way Angie moves is so fluid, it’s as if she’s actually alive!” / “The zombie actors in your gardening videos are awesome! That’s some damn good make-up/prosthetics right there!” Oh, if only they knew...

His videos may be rather minimalistic (think The Joy of Painting but with movie/novel reviews), but you can tell he’s having a blast with his recommendations

you wouldn’t believe how long he can talk about his favorite movies/novels. His shortest video is 35 minutes long, but he always stays on topic and is very pleasant to listen to.

everything in his videos is over the top: the intro, the music, the camera work, his gameplay... e v e r y t h i n g . Which makes his videos extremely fun to watch. Most of his subscribers come for the DIY videos and stay for Karl’s hammy antics.

expect LOTS of cussing, especially in his let’s play videos. (seriously, if you censored every swear word in his let’s plays, you’d end up with more beeps than actual commentary)

sometimes he lets his soldiers have cameos in his videos, but never Sturm. Because Sturm is a noisy [CENSORED] who doesn’t know how to behave.

Miranda → “Mother Miranda’s Wisdom”

ASMR videos and guided meditations

some of her videos have a weird effect on the viewer/listener: calming, but not quite. There’s that other feeling. You can’t put your finger on what that feeling is, but it’s unnerving. As if someone was trying to get into your head while telling you that there is nothing to worry about.

sometimes you could swear you faintly heard someone groan or even scream in her videos. “Do not be afraid. The screaming will cease. All you have to do is listen to my voice...”

in her video descriptions, Miranda advertises retreats and churches where you can sign up for her cult religion. Those who take her offer never return. Once they join Miranda, they never want to leave. They have found a new family. A new purpose. At least that’s what Miranda says...
