Ranking the Miracucast by how good of a Doctor Who Companion they'd be.
Marinette: She'd be great at it, but she would also hate it and just want it to be over. She's tired and has no time for this shenaniganry. Please give her this chance to not be involved. 5/10
Alya: Would have SO MANY QUESTIONS. Could do very well, but I can see her veering dangerously close to Adam Mitchell territory. Careful there, Alya. 7/10
Adrien: Yes. 10/10
Nino: I think he'd be a decent TARDIS passenger, but he's the type that'd be part of an ensemble. Wouldn't work as well as a solo companion. 4/10
Chloe: Sorry Chloe fans, but no. The Doctor can pull a redemption arc out of anyone, but they also have no patience for bullcrap. It's just not happening no matter how much I want it to. 1/10
Sabrina: I think she would be great, but the fandom would not like her as a companion. 6/10
Mylene: Yeah, she would not like it. 0/10
Ivan: If Mylene isn't going, then neither is he. 0/10
Rose: Would be absolutely hilarious due to her name alone. Accompanying a Classic Doctor might be better for her. 7/10
Juleka: I don't care what you say she would be excellent and the fandom would love her. Ironically would probably fit better with a NuWho Doctor. 10/10
Kim: The Doctor does not want Kim in the TARDIS. Kim has been in the TARDIS at least once, and the Doctor has vowed that it will be the last time. They're wrong. 4/10
Max: The Doctor would ADORE Markov. Max would be Markov's plus one. 7/10 by proxy
Alix: Pretty sure she already is a companion. Like. In canon. We haven't seen it but it's definitely happened, fight me. Alix/10
Nathaniel: I want to say he'd be great but in my heart I know he would be Very Stressed. Definitely would not want to travel with the Doctor, but would keep getting dragged along by his friends. The fandom would love him though. 5/10
Lila: As she is now? Absolutely not. The Doctor would despise her. -10/10, BUUUUUUT if she was picked up before Volpina (or pre-Chameleon at the latest) I think she could be redeemed like in the Scarlet Lady AU. She would be hilarious. She gives me Turlough vibes. If the Doctor can deal with Turlough and Missy then he can deal with Lila. She has the potential to be unique and have an interesting character arc compared to other companions, and let's be honest NuWho needs something unique and interesting. 8/10
Luka: Like Nino, he works better as part of ensemble. Would be an excellent supporting character for Marinette or Juleka if they were companions, or maybe be a very cool Oneshot Companion like Wilf. 3/10
Kagami: The Doctor would have their work cut out for them, because Kagami is a "stab first ask questions later" person and the Doctor doesn't vibe with that normally. Neither The Doctor nor Kagami would be happy with this arrangement. So naturally Kagami's sole season would be one of the best in the entire show. 9/10
Marc: He would travel with either the Second or Thirteenth Doctors. He would do wonderfully, but his seasons would definitely be more focused on the Doctor than Marc himself. Sorry Marc. 7/10
Ondine: Is too busy keeping Kim out of trouble. And as stated previously, the Doctor does not want Kim in the TARDIS. 2/10
Felix: I just don't think it would work. Felix could definitely be a major recurring character, but somehow I can't really see him actually being a companion proper. He does get bonus points for being British. Perhaps instead of being a companion he spends his free time annoying Torchwood. 3/10
Zoe: She'd be great. But the universe would be Very Cruel to her. People will die, and she will not be happy about it. 8/10

So what are your thoughts (and salt) on your research re-watch on Queen Wasp?
This episode is annoying because it tries to play both sides - it is very much NOT a redemption arc episode but at the same time tries to make you feel sorry for Chloe after she fucks shit up, which has tricked some into believing this actually WAS part of Chloe's redemption arc.
As @hypexion laid out in a full essay, there never was a Chloe redemption arc because Chloe never thought she did anything wrong and never thought she had to change. In "Queen Wasp", she refuses to return the Miraculous on the grounds "finders keepers, losers weepers", deliberately causes a crisis in order to try and FAIL to save the day just to show off, and when confronted with her deeds only has this to say:
Tumblr media
See, I didn't pull Scarlet Lady's complete disregard for human life out of my ass, it was canon all along! 😈
"Who cares"?! "Who CARES"?! Putting aside that "WE" did not save them, Ladybug and Chat Noir saved them from YOU, I'm pretty sure the people's who's LIVES you endangered "cares"!
Thing is, if you just watch this episode and put the entire idea of "redemption" or "hero Chloe" out of your mind, this is 3/4ths of a good episode. Pretty fun, actually, with Chloe just...being Chloe. And getting to hit Chloe in the face with a trash can ❤️.
So what's with all the audience emotional manipulation at the end?
Why is Chat Noir making soft face and using soft voice at Chloe at the end, commiserating that she STOLE a Miraculous (because once she decided not to return it when asked, yes, that's theft at that point), crashed a train, and ran away from the consequences just to ImPrEsS hEr MoThEr? Guess that makes it alright then, right Adrien? 🙃
(If it was just meant to be an Adrien Character Moment, they would've had Ladybug counter him by point out that her motivation doesn't make what she did okay, but instead they have Ladybug ALSO commiserate with Chloe)
As a character beat, I get that Adrien is channeling his daddy issues through Chloe's mommy issues, but I mean for the audience: why are they having Ladybug admit to "making mistakes" and Chat Noir comfort Chloe when SHE MESSED UP THIS BADLY except to manipulate the viewer into feeling sorry for her?! Her mother didn't ASK her to do any of those things, she did them all on her own, so why are the heroes giving her a pass, ie. why are the writers wanting the audience to give Chloe a pass???
No pass! She sucked! And she deserved her classmates ripping on her in "Malediktator", but then the story had the balls to try and make the audience feel bad for Chloe for that too!
Speaking of that, it's really weird that they ended "Queen Wasp" with Ladybug being so soft on Chloe at the end, only for Marinette to turn around at the beginning of "Malediktator" and go back to being really annoyed with her. Especially after she went out of her way to reconcile things between Chloe and Audrey.
Even the way they did it - equating Ladybug accidentally dropping the Miraculous in the middle of the battle and then relying on the Miraculous Cure to return the Miraculous to Fu, (something she'd have no reason to believe shouldn't happen), to Chloe deliberately causing a disaster in order to fail to impress her mom and refusing to return the Miraculous that she Was Not Given? Those are not the same! An honest error that Ladybug fully intended to rectify vs. Chloe disregarding other's safety and the right and wrong of keeping something that never belonged to her are not on equal footing.
Oh and then there's this gem:
Tumblr media
Giving back an item that never belonged to you to the rightful owner isn't "exceptional", it's basic human decency. Good Lord Chloe is not "exceptional" for finally adhering to the code of conduct the rest of us learned in Kindergarden.
All this pushing the viewer to feel some type of way and it's all for nothing. Feeling sorry for Chloe just leads Ladybug to giving her another chance in "Malediktator", giving Chloe entitlement to the Bee Miraculous, facing the issues of the enemy knowing her identity in "Miraculer", having to flat out retract Chloe's access to the Bee Miraculous which Chloe responds to with a full on tantrum in "Miracle Queen", leading to Fu giving Guardianship over to Ladybug.
Woooow, real glad we were told over and over again by the narrative to go easy on Chloe, sHe JuSt NeEdS a GoOd InFluEnCe and a SeCoNd ChAnce. That sure ended well for everyone.
Also this is just me being a nitpicky asshole, but if Chloe didn't out herself right in front of everyone (ie. GABRIEL), the Hawkmoth era of the series would've been over. After Style Queen failed, Gabriel had completely given up since his "Masterpiece" failed. If Chloe hadn't revealed herself, Gabriel wouldn't have been inspired to akumatize a Miraculous Holder and might've gone into retirement long enough to return the Miraculous in secret or reveal Emilie to the public in search of other methods before he could've been "inspired" by something else.
The villain defeated by lack of motivation, lmao.
(Also also obviously this could've been doubly avoided by Ladybug not losing the Bee Miraculous or taking the Bee Miraculous out in the first place, but we could've had Anti-Hero Bee Chloe with an actual secret identity paired with a new antagonist to go into a new era of Miraculous, so I would've considered that a win)
MY main gripe with the three Chloe centric episodes "Style Queen", "Queen Wasp", and "Malediktator" is all the pointless, blatant audience manipulation. They went so far out their way to make the audience side with Chloe against Ladybug and feel bad for her only to turn around and call us stupid for doing so. I want my time back and I never even believed in the Redemption Arc. I can't imagine how much worse it was for someone who actually believed what they were selling.
And obviously it was terrible for the thing that brought Chloe and Audrey together is how they're horrible people who torment the working class, but maybe we should've taken that as a sign as to where this was going. Way to immediately resolve Chloe's mommy issues as soon as they were brought up.
Wait...is that why they made the problem in "Malediktator" Chloe's usefulness?

I feel like miraculous will just do the most bare bones use of the Multiverse with evil heroes and good villains, Miraculous is a Franchise in which the multiverse is a great idea
They’ll probably just make say “they’ve always been evil” without making a explanation of why Hawkmoth is good and the Duo are bad, imagine if they gave the Re-verse a cool backstory like “marinette parents died in a accident and she became the worlds youngest top criminal which discovered about the miraculous, she stole the Ladybug and cat miraculous but master fu misinformed her about which miraculous granted the wish and instead making her go after the two miraculous Master Fu knows nothing, the butterfly and Peacock miraculous, and so Ladybug rampages trough paris trying to get her hands on the miraculous and even discovering Adrien agreste is a sentimonster in her pursuit for the Peacock miraculous making him he’s pawn which will use the cat miraculous [see that play of words? Paw-Pawn?] and Gabriel agreste has to fight Ladybug and save not only the world and the miraculous but also he’s son” but I doubt they’ll do that
Heck with the obvious Spider-verse inspiration I would have wished they would have gone through actually interesting Universes
Post apocalyptic universe in which the akumatized villain are like zombies and only the miraculous users are inmune
A world in which Queen bee got her redemption arc
A world in which Marinette got the butterfly miraculous (a fan favorite)
A world in which Marinette had the bee miraculous and Chloe the ladybug (scarlet lady reference?!)
A world in which Adrien is a Healthy teen with a happy family and nothing went wrong and nothing of the super hero related events of the series happen
A world in which the kwamis are evil and the Duo has to fight the eldritch monsters trying to take over their body’s meanwhile they try to find who is the poor man being used has a puppet by Nooroo which is trying to free the other kwamis to end the world
Chat blanc universe
A super futuristic world in which magic is dying and the villain is the order of the miraculous trying to resurrect magic even if that comes to a high price so they can keep existing and have meaning on their lives since they wasted hundreds of decades of their lives guarding the miraculous which will soon stop existing
A world in which humans don’t exist and instead the characters are creative monster designs
A world in which Marinette was bitten by a radioactive ladybug and Adrien has a eldritch horror alien goo named plagg which gives him super powers (yes like venom and Spider-Man)
A world in which Lila/Chloe and Marinette Swap places
The world of the movie!!! (which is very different from the series world might I mind you)
And the world of the comics (although the only difference I can remember is the American heroes and yes before you ask this is the comics the infamous Ghetto blaster came from)
There’s so many options yet I know they’ll only do the Evil universe trope instead of actually using the potential the world of miraculous has for parallel universes
You'd think for a special that seeks out to explore the multiverse, they'd do more than just your generic dystopian mirror universe where all the characters aren't made evil are part of some resistance faction judging from the trailer. There may be a chance that we'll get glimpses of other universes, but there's still going to be more focus on the "Re-Verse".
The idea of a world with Ladybug and Cat Noir being villains could work if you decided to focus on the circumstances that causes them to snap and turn to a life of crime (sort of like Spider-Carnage's backstory from the finale of the 90s Spider-Man cartoon), but given how the show handles the morality of its characters, there's a good chance that this universe's version of Ladybug and Cat Noir will just be evil for the sake of being evil. Either that, or the writers pull a cop-out and make them completely different characters, like Chloe and Lila.

Chloe Redemption Arc (and Why it will not happen in SL)
Welp, as many people have read the latest part of the five year long saga known as "Scarlet Lady" and have seen that Chloe is now no longer the holder of the Ladybug Miraculous. Many people had expected a Redemption Arc, something that ZAG got rid of and made her one of the villains. Yes many readers had hoped for Zoe to do one, yet she has repeatedly said that there was not to be one. The reason why is that Zoe has said she has a dislike for the character, even before The Queen's Battle Arc as Chloe is known not only to be a brat, but a bully and a megalomaniac.
It is also the creator's own choice for how she will do Chloe, who throughout the comic, is little more than comic relief, even as an Akuma. So I will tell many fans that it is her choice to do Chloe like she did. bug off her please.

That is, dear Zoe, you want to accuse a child of racism, while turning a blind eye to the fact that the animated series is full of it? And also deny that Chloe didn't have a redemption arc? You have a clinic, dear.
Chloe's redemption arc WAS, and was the BEST OF THE SERIES. Chloe developed and apologized. I won’t even read your reposted post, because it’s clear that you will look for everything rotten in Chloe, and not close it.
I repeat, Chloe, like Marinette, is 14 years old. Only Chloe is not being sold, but Marinette is.
That is, you are even ready to whitewash Audrey, who in fact is a terrible person, not only in relation to her daughter, but also to others, and expose the teenager as a monster and a villain in the comic?
Sorry, I think you're one of those people who thinks Chloe is worse than Hawkmoth.
We are talking about the comic "The Scarlet Lady" and I strongly advise you not to read it, because the author himself will laugh at you if you love Chloe. And the comic itself brings literally nothing new, even though the characters change clothes almost every episode.
The comic is literally about the fact that Chloe is given all the negative traits from Marinette, even her very stalkerism and about the next praise of Marinette.
I think Zoe and Thomas Astruc would get along well.

Can you imagine Bob and Audrey as the black cat and Ladybug tho? Like, at least I can see a tinge of redemption for Bob becoming less greedy and all, but Audrey is the type of person to cause problems to solve them, or not even show up at the scene. Audrey would be quite likely Scarlet Lady from Zoe
Lol YEAH
Idk if Bob would have a redemption so much as he'd be whoring out his own image instead of his son's.

Two years ago I started on ideas for a full blown rewrite of Miraculous Ladybug. And it was the result of bad faith critiques against the show and just an overwhelming amount of salt I didn't realize I could filter. I lost my enjoyment but I did think of a lot of ideas for what could have happened in the show. It was kinda like "oh I haven't seen anyone else do it so I'll make a rewrite that makes everyone happy"
Completely ignorant that I was not original, it's been done before, etc.
Is it any surprise I burned out hard on that lmao. I barely posted stuff for this and yet here I am. Burnt out from my self imposed perfectionism and consistently going back and forth on if I think the show is bad enough to warrant a full rewrite. It wasn't ever going to last since my fuel was trying to create something that everyone would be happy with.. impossible.
I think after reading enough text posts from bugga chat I think the show can be viewed in a way that is better done than you'd expect. I enjoyed creating stuff Abt ml much more when I wasn't bogged down by salters
I've realized I like creators (bugga chat & Anne scribbles to name a couple) that enjoy the show a lot more than creators that don't. And I also don't think I can top Zoe's Scarlet Lady au in terms of fixing canon's issues and characterization. That's a full blown project I recommend checking out lol
And y'know, even if I wrote this out, I'd be catering for an audience I just don't agree with anymore. Like, Chloe redemption arc for instance, I don't think canon was perfect with how they handled Chloe but I also don't think that arc was destined to be a redemption and they did a 180.
I've begun to feel DEEPLY uncomfortable with some Chloe stans (not all) too since the show implies Chloe's bullying of Marinette was had racist intentions and now that I realize that I.. idk I just feel uncomfortable with some perceptions of Chloe. I still like the idea of a redemption arc for her but I don't really want to be the one to write it and make it work lmao
I still have a lot of ideas for this au/rewrite I think could be cool I also just don't want to rewrite everything in the show for them.
So. What next.
Omg that felt cool to say wowsers anyway
This isn't to say I'm abandoning anything JOTG related, don't fear if you follow the side blog. I just won't be writing anything like full seasons and this'll be just fanart and ramblings of ideas to accompany them. I'll leave it to everyone else to imagine a show that foreshadows and builds on any of those ideas.
No guarantees about how often I'll draw for those ideas (especially since my biggest hyperfixations at the moment are different fandoms) but it feels like significantly less pressure for me to put on myself haha. Look forward to the fanart cuz, again, I do think I have some BOMB ideas for how canon could be different
Thx for reading! :)

Chloe returns sooner than we imagined
Many people believe that it is not going to happen because fat Thomas hates Chloe (a character created by him, very ironic) despite being a character with an excellent narrative background and perfect future potential, but everyone prefers cichles. Pathetic, but the real reason why Chloe will have a redemption is because they simply ran out of ideas and won't know what else to implement and that will happen in season 6. I like to buy this with the icarly revival (made by another fat, ugly, stalker) where they made the Creddie canon just because there were no ideas or plots left to do. Even in the big Scarlet Lady comic they will remove Chloe but she will return because the comic is named after her as a superhero so it wouldn't make sense for her not to appear. THE ONE WHO SHOULD NOT APPEAR WAS HER ABNORMAL BASTARD SISTER WHOSE NAME BEGINS WITH Z. The winds blow in Chloe's favor and the leaks…hehehe

Honestly if I were to redeem Lila my best advice would be don’t do what the Scarlet Lady AU does when it comes to her redemption
(Post to what the anon is referring to)
I'm probably gonna either get weird looks or lose multiple followers, or both, but:
I haven't read Scarlet Lady yet.
In fact, I'm not even sure if I want to. Mainly due to the controversy I hear about the author (zoe-oneesama).
On the one hand, I give her credit for not trolling us that a Chloe redemption will happen and instead just have S1!Chloe be a stuck up basic bitch with the Ladybug Miraculous. Which admittedly, sounds hilarious in itself; but then, I hear people argue whether or not the story can be considered Chloe salt or not.
Not to mention, people have compared her to Astruc by saying she refuses to accept criticism and will block those who disagree with her. Keep in mind, these are just rumors and words from the grape vine that I hear constantly, so maybe I'm wrong. In fact, I think comparing her to Astruc is kinda a low blow in itself. As mentioned above, she's not hinting at a Chloe redemption at all. She's literally having Chloe be the selfish brat she started off as and making her 10 times worse than usually. (At least from what I heard and gathered. Again, never read it, so I could be incorrect.)
If I get a chance to read it, sure maybe I'll see the pros and cons to it.
But back to the ask:
What redemption does zoe-oneesama give Lila in her AU? Is it that bad? If anyone has read Scarlet Lady, let me know down below so I can understand a little more.

( sobhita dhulipala, she/her, spirit warrior ) To LEONORE VEN VISHAL, the whole world looks like an open page. With a leap of faith, their ability of DIVINE EARTH MANIPULATION grows a little stronger. They’re pledged to the ORDER of ATH to defend the enchanted lands of Cagliostro with their SOULSHARD BROADSWORD. For THIRTY-FOUR years, they have survived a world of magic with both their FORTITUDE and VENGEFULNESS. They work as a KNIGHT CLERIC and BODYGUARD, but if they could change their fate, they’d want to FIND REDEMPTION THROUGH A GREATER PURPOSE. + renegade knight skeleton
inspo includes the likes of the following: cassandra pentaghast of dragon age, geralt of rivia of the witcher series, erza scarlet of fairy tail, xena of xena: warrior princess, haruka tenou of sailor moon, nicholas d. wolfwood of trigun, senju tsunade of naruto, juri arisugawa of revolutionary girl utena.
&. ⸻ BASICS
name — leonore ven vishal
aliases — veyn vishal, veyn the visceral, the holy knight, the celestial champion, the lady justice, the huntress
birthdate — january 17
zodiac — capricorn
birthplace — rigbarth
sexuality — homoromantic homosexual
alignment —  lawful neutral
temperament — phlegmatic-melancholy
element — earth
primary vice — pride
primary virtue — faith
house — previously fraser. now order of ath.
occupation — knight cleric and bodyguard
markings — her back has a tattoo similar to this, a purified sigil of her former religion that has warped with the cursed energy she’s absorbed over the years, permitting a berserker tendency given its influence
weapon — called the kamakshi ishmerai, meaning ‘keeper of loving eyes’, a supposed gift from many years ago that requires her life energy within it. an enormous broadsword capable of either shattering into metal slivers as sharp as daggers or reforming into an energy variation of twin hand canons, it serves at her beck and call. the slivered form is summoned by the phrase ‘sway, kamakshi’, with the cannons forming with ‘ishmerai, burst’. the blade is often fastened to her back with cloth covering. a combination of here + here + here
&. ⸻ HEADCANONS
despite her more brutish nature, she is in fact quite academically-inclined, most notably bearing knowledge of great ruins, biofacts, artifacts, and older languages. this includes the language of ath, which remains among her more favored
very few tend to address her by her first name these days, with ‘veyn vishal’ being her designated choice in name in her rarer moments with the public to avoid calling full attention to the bounty against her. considered a traitor to both her family and the crown, her travels tend to take her on less common paths as a consequence, shrouded in cloak and shadow, in the hopes of avoiding undue attention and needless encounters
the order of ven vishal was her original religion, a more familial belief system that favored the dragon goddess, yet drew on deciphered teachings with a more vicious hand than the remnants of any possible compatriot. somewhere along leonore’s familial line exists the so-called ‘founder’, and the knight fell away from what little remained of them upon joining the royal guard, considered an enemy to the order by at least the order’s standards
she’s further strayed from either entity ( the crown and family ) by joining the order of ath, wholeheartedly believing in change for her fellow countrymen and a need to pull away from the established world for the sake of true prosperity. in the very least, they offer protection when needed, share her lack of love for shades, and allow her a chance to study the lost language she’s always been fond of
she has a white, armored horse named jakken, who remains a constant companion on the road
her own armor can take on various forms and hues, on account of the magic inherent within it. most often, it resembles dragon scale armor in gleaming silvery white. her wear in the evenings or occasions that call for minimal protection tends to resemble this
her favorite flowers are yellow and white chrysanthemums, and foxgloves
despite any harbored doubts towards her new mission, her admiration for ventuswill seems mostly unwavering these days. she holds to the belief that the great deity saved her from the makings of hell, amid her doubts against the crown and its trappings. it’s to the point that she’ll easily seek retribution should one sully the deity’s good name
&. ⸻ ABILITY
divine earth manipulation permits her to manipulate earth-like, and by extension some metal, material while also allowing for talents like purification and exorcism.
one fun fact about her power is that her capacity as an exorcist is not considered standard by any means, with those who seek her aid in this regard brought to near death if not actual death should the task involve a living being. this is mostly due to the nature of her magic and how it operates, with her capacity to absorb the sins and afflictions of those around her corrupting her over the years. this was made worse by an encounter with another who seemed to amplify this weakness and has resulted in spells of just rather unfortunate luck on her end these days. of those who survive or find themselves resurrected, they are often exposed to side effects such as bouts of insanity, similar strings of bad luck, severe weakness, or some general form of weirdness. how long this lasts varies from person to person
&. ⸻ HISTORY
some time ago, leonore was a member of the royal guard, betraying her mother’s teachings in an effort to seek more solid truths of the world she found herself within. serving crown and country as a loyal executioner does not find her solace, however, and she earns a reputation as a fierce and callous shell of a woman
her life prior to the guard is one mostly shrouded in mystery, though rumor has it she hunts for a great love. and she in fact does — if only to see the light leave their eyes by her own hand. the entity in question is a dreamshade, one she’d fallen for in youth and now seeks to end their reckoning by any cost. ( wanted connection )
despite her best efforts, religion has always held a presence in her life — acting as a dull beacon since youth, calling to her in ways she never realized. the child of an illicit affair between a holy woman and a married man of little value, the knight felt herself born unworthy, compounded by the treatment she received from those who were meant to love her most. in her fear, her uncertainty, leonore sought to snuff out its divine light, to drown its holy call in waves of blood, in desecration, in debauchery. she believed herself a lost cause, deserving to be forsaken for her crimes of birth, of life, in keeping with the wishes of demons and devils. the call of her lady divinity from the depths of her dreams would bear resemblance to renewed truth, however. a purpose restored
leonore has since sworn fealty to the priesthood, forsaking any prior ties and renouncing death save for in special circumstances. with her new mantle as knight to the dragon priesthood, she serves her lady divinity as an armed guardian to her designated ward, the tested follower, seeking to purify and cleanse the lands of all malefic might in the process of fulfilling their journey

I really love going to the "Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" tag and seeing good reviews of the movie and there's this part where they say
oh and btw i didn't see Wandavision lol
AND IT SHOWS
the person that wrote the script DIDN'T CARE ABOUT WANDA EITHER and it fucking shows
I'm really really sad...
It happens every time with these things. There is a complex character with unique motivations and painful growth, someone that is one bad thing away from completely snapping, and when they do, they deeply regret it and try to undo the damage not because "it's the right thing" but because nobody deserves to suffer like they did.....
and people point at them and say "haha evil crazy lady"
[Yes, it's usually a woman (I wonder why 😁 )]
(rant under the cut) (yes there are spoilers)
If the villain of the movie had been idk, Mordo, or another version of Strange that snapped or something, the ending wouldn't have been so crappy. Hell, they did the same fucking storyline with 'What If...?' chapter 4, when Strange messes up his universe real bad to bring Christine back to life. And that man? The man gets his redemption. He is a little mew mew. He 'sacrifices himself for the greater good' and lives the rest of his life atoning for what he did.
Wanda is a caricature of herself. The Scarlet Witch my ass. It was just an excuse to validate the 'evil crazy lady' thing they had been pushing her character into until now.
For what? For her ending to be "oh nooooo, i had become a monster oh noooo i will collapse this building over meeeee". It took what? 3 minutes? 5 minutes, tops? In a 2 hour movie that did some amazing shots showing a bloodied and red eyed crazy evil lady she suddenly changes her mind because her kiddies are like ¨noooo, evil crazy lady please dont kill usssss"
Give me a fucking break
Michael Waldron, the writer, is not good! I checked who the hell was this man and why I hated the movie so bad and lo and behold, he did Loki and the 5th season of Community. Guess what are the main complaints about those two?
Bad writing.
I am not saying that everything bad about this movie is because of this 1 man, but...
I am so angry
Let's not fucking start with the whole "yeah she's a good person but at the end of Wandavision she was reading the Darkhold so she was planning this all along and had been playing nice 😆"
No????
It is explicitly said in the movie that the Darkhold "uses your deep desires and corrupts you completely" and that "it's influence is almost inescapable" and when Dr Strange has to use the Darkhold everyone is like ohhhh, please dont go to the dark side, we love you, I have your hand, etc etc etc
Wanda? Nah, she's just a crazy bitch. She deserves to die. Darkhold? What Darkhold influence? She's been evil from the start!
WANDA LET GO OF HER DREAM BECAUSE SHE KNEW THE CONSEQUENCES OF FORCING IT TO BECOME REALITY
She just wanted to learn how to use her magic so it didn't happen again. Nobody ever cared about her or trained her. The people that cared, died for a cause that wasn't theirs.
How freaking sad is that?
(and people would know if they saw Wandavision)
(In any case, this movie acts as if Wandavision didn't happen so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️)
MoM could have been such a great movie and it's so disappointing that nobody cares that if you take away the horror elements, the flashy CGI and the recognizable faces there's a really bad story behind.
Everyone that liked the movie. Good! I had a really good time. The pacing is great and the acting is fantastic!
But please stop praising it's plot for having "new ideas" and "daring plotlines". No. It is trash. The story is bad. We can enjoy things that are bad, but it is still bad.

Not sure if anyone's ever asked you something like this before, but what are your thoughts on a hypothetical AU based on a ship between Chloe x Marinette x Kagami x Lila, all together? Either all as heroes, all as villains, a non-powered AU... whatever you can imagine, basically. What do you think a ship like that would be like in terms of character dynamics?
Well, when it comes to Ship dynamics, In terms of in Canon and based off canon personalities, Very Toxic.
And I say this nicely,
The MariGami would be the least Toxic side to it. And by that I mean, Marinette would still be running off and lying about being Ladybug to her and it would recreate the same issue between them as it did between Kagami and Adrien in “Lies.”
We know how Canon Lila & Chloe act to Marinette so we don’t have to explain why that’s bad.
HOWEVER,
Outside of canon, In an AU where teenage girls aren’t treated like Psychopaths and Irredeemable villains?
Hmm, It’s difficult for me to come up with one on the spot.
Well if we take my version of Lila & Chloe, then they’d both be Ignoring/Repressing their attraction to girls.
In Chloe’s case, she’s outright refusing to accept she likes girls, cause that would mean she likes Marinette. So she clings to every boy that she can to “Prove” she likes boys, hence her Season 1 attraction to Adrien.
He’s her Beard.
Now I’m very picky about Lila in terms of how I label her, cause yes she likes girl, no I don’t think she’s a lesbian. I actually do prefer her to have the Aro/Ace Headcanon but she can and will get into a relationship or QPR.
Going off of canon material we can confirm that Kagami and Marinette are both Bisexual, ones just a disaster while the other is emotionally repressed.
Now, for sake of ease, let’s say this AU is one where all four get picked to fight Hawkmoth from the start, with four miraculous.
So:
Ladybug = Chloe
Cat = Kagami
Fox = Marinette
Bee = Lila
Now I choose these ones cause Chloe would, at first, Act like she does in Zoe-oneesama’s Scarlet Lady AU. All high and mighty but that would, in time, get knocked down as everyone else manages to get the message that Heroing isn’t fun and games.
Kagami takes a very Shogun anime heroine approach, until she has that mindset knocked out of her from how very real everything is.
The same goes for Lila as Chloe. Very high up there above everyone else energy. Except Lila has no idea she’s a lesbian, she’s so far in the Closet she doesn’t remember ever going in there to begin with.
Marinette is just stressed like in canon but worse.
So the group dynamic, At the start, is a big ball of stress and disorganisation. A bunch of school girls fighting over who gets to be the knight to slay the dragon.
But, after they’ve overcome this obstacle and begin working as a team, then their personal relationships can begin to form.
As a team they go from Annoying Co-workers to reluctantly ok coworkers to maybe friends to friends and then Sisters on the battlefield.
Now, at this point in this hypothetical story, Chloe has undergone a massive amount of her redemption, she’s better, Nicer but still Chloe
Lila had gone from, Girl who lies for attention cause she’s lonely to Girl who’s finding her true self. So a lot of self reflection on how she feels and how her Hereronormative acts aren’t who she is.
If we take it from the hero’s side, instead of civilian identities for the shipping part. Then I’d say at the very least Chloe has gotten a crush on them, thanks to their kindness and motivational talks.
Marinette Disaster Bisexual Dupain-Cheng has had a crush on Kagami since like, day 5 and by golly she does see how beautiful the other two are.
So… Endgame ship dynamic would be… Marinette gushing over her girlfriends but also exasperated by how lacking in life skills they are (Rich/Neglected) and has made it her mission to teach them to be people.
Kagami tried to teach them all about the art of contact sports and fencing, with little success and is usually the one in the back giving a glare to anyone who dares flirt with or upset her girlfriends.
Chloe tries to spoil them with gifts and over the top affection, cause she wants twice the affection that she gives out. She’s goes on and on about doing up their make up and hair to better suit them and is the one to take them on expensive shopping trips when they need things.
And Lila, while 100% involved in everything, treats it more as a QPR then a Poly Relationship. She does want the same level of attention, just not as heavily on the Romantic side of things. Though she will occasionally give/Receive kisses/affection.
I think I derailed slightly from the main topic but I’m not going to delete half of this to fix it. Enjoy.

tbh at this point I feel like it'd be hilarious if canon Miraculous were to meet the PoD AU and see how much Chloe getting adopted by a Penguin could've shifted the timeline enenenenemmdwkkwksmsmsms
I feel like Chloe herself in particular would have something to say about this seeing as she was one video game away from getting to be a princess of another world with cool friends and who's dating ladybug snsnsnsnmsnsnnnms
idk random thoughts-
Canon Chloe would be outraged and jealous. But for the wrong reasons.
...If we throw in other universes, Scarlet Lady Chloe would also be outraged and jealous. For the wrong reasons.
All the other Chloes would probably just be super happy for her and swap redemption arc stories.
And then Lady Rose ME would just be jealous that Kirby was Real.
