List of Met Galas since 2001

I've gotten a few asks for a list of Met Galas. Technically, the gala has existed since 1948, and been themed since 1973, but I started at 2001 to keep it short (there was no gala in 2000 apparently). If you're interested in every theme that's ever existed, there's a chart on Wikipedia.

Most lists online start somewhere around 2011-2013, since it wasn't covered by the press the same way before then.

James dan Michelle lalu mendatangi meja Jonathan dan Jane sambil berpegangan tangan.

James: Siapa tuh babe? Bangsat banget OKB-nya, sok akrab lagi.

Jonathan, yang tadi lagi makan, langsung nengok ke arah James.

Jonathan: Itu Kevin, anak karyawan bokap gue.

James sama Michelle duduk di kursi meja mereka.

James: Anak karyawan bokap lu? Buang aja tuh bokapnya. Anaknya aibin aja.

Michelle: ( sambil nyentuh tangan James biar dia tenang) James, jangan gitu dong.

Jane yang tadi cuma duduk bengong, liat muka kesel James jadi gemes dan mengejek.

Jane: Kevin? Kevin yang proyek bareng lo, kan, Chelle? Lucu banget tuh anak. Beliin makan siang juga kemarin.

Jane senyum-senyum ngejek, Jonathan langsung ketawa sambil nyindir James.

Jonathan: omg! serius babe?

Michelle pukul tangan Jonathan dan ngelirik sinis ke arah Jane.

Michelle: Jane, gausah mulai deh, udah tau kan dia bisa meledak kalo dipanasin.

James: (James lihat ke arah Michelle) Kok kamu belain Kevin sih?

Michelle kebingungan dan gak jawab James.

Jane: (Bercanda dan mengejek Michelle) Iya, Chelle, kenapa lu belain Kevin?

Michelle pegang tangan James buat tenangin dia.

Michelle: Babe, gausah takut, kan kamu tau gue sayang sama kamu

Jane: (senyum dan nambahin) Iya, James, Kevin kan kerja di bawah keluarga Jonathan juga, jadi gausah takut. Kalo dia sok genit dikit, keluarganya bakal tendang dia sendiri. Iya kan, babe?

Jonathan: ( senyum sambil angguk) "Iya, sayang."

James: Pokoknya aku gak suka ya Chelle kamu berdua sama dia, kalo ada project pun ajak aku. Mau ke rumah dia kek ke mana kek pokoknya I have to be there.

Michelle kaget denger kata kata James dan memilih untuk diam dan mengangguk.

Jonathan: udah udah tegang amet bro, masa seorang James Hartono takut sama Kevin? Bocah okb. Malu James sama ukuran rumah lu. Kamar lu aja segeda ruang tamu dia.

Jane: ew? serius babe?

Jonathan: Kan papa aku yang kasih rumah nya.

Kevin yang sedang duduk di kejauhan melihat mereka tertawa sambil menyantap makan malam nya. Lalu pandangan Kevin tertuju kepada Michelle, lalu tangan James yang ada di pundak Michelle. Merangkulnya penuh dengan posesif. Di situ Kevin merasa dia tidak ada apa apa nya di bandingkan mereka.

Sekali lagi, mereka adalah sekelompok anak kolongmerat yang hidup di atas peraturan dan pemerintahan. Meskipun terlihat sombong dan egois, yang terlontar dari mulut mereka adalah fakta. Fakta bahwa mereka tumbuh besar dengan kekayaan melimpah dan merasa bebas melakukan segala hal tanpa ada konsekuensi. Seiring berjalannya waktu, mereka berubah menjadi sekelompok remaja yang dengan mudah menilai dan memutuskan jalan hidup orang lain yang berada di bawah mereka. Bagi mereka, hal itu dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang wajar, namun bagi orang-orang yang terkena dampaknya, rasanya seolah-olah mereka tengah berada dalam neraka yang tiada akhir.

So, it turns out i was a bit wrong with my Duel Links predictions.

I said the order of character unlocks was Yuri -> Vector or Alito -> Serena.

But new information has been obtained! The order now is:

Serena (certain) -> Alito (mostly certain) -> Yuri (uncertain)

Some wild theorizing about the order of ARC-V character unlocks under the cut.

I think the order might have something to do with when the characters appeared in the anime.

Ok so here's the order that ARC-V characters have appeared so far, and predictions of who will come in the future, with the episode they debuted in in the anime (not counting Yuya, Yuzu, Gong and Sylvio, who were unlockable the day ARC-V World was opened.)

(Also note that characters from other Worlds will likely show up between these)

Declan (2) -> Yuto (7) -> Sora (3) -> Shay (15) -> Yugo (18) -> Serena (38) -> Yuri (37) -> Rin (54) -> Ruri (75) -> Zarc??(126) -> Ray???(126)

This theory's kinda...bad. Sora and Yuri are inconsistent with it (which is why i was so certain Yuri would show up before Serena earlier). However, i could make a case for the order being violated to help continuity or put widely requested characters first. That's still a pretty weak argument, though.

But hey, tell me what you think! this is unfolding of the scale of months, so we just have to wait and see, yeah?

It would be pretty cool to get Zarc in April 2024. It would be like a 20th birthday present for me, haha. Who knows what'll be happening to Duel Links that far down the line, though! We might even have SEVENS World by then!

Jaune laughed at the story. As wild as it may have seemed, what was more wild was her entire attitude. Ever since she divorced her husband and stepped out of Schnee Manor, her entire being seemed to radiate happiness. Word was she was dating her servant, Klein Sieben, who had been nothing short of supportive of her for all his years. She was genuinely happy.

The same could not be said across the foyer, where Bleiss Gelé, his not so secret admirer, was passing the time giving her father orders much like Sisyphus. First, she would order him to bring her a drink. Upon his return, she would throw it in his face, followed by an order to clean his mess. He would do so, and she would order a refill.

"Excuse me a moment," Jaune bowed politely, "I have other guest I must attend to."

"Of course, Jaune." Ren replied. "I'll be here proving Mrs. Schnee has had too much to drink."

"Oh, no, not a drop! This is seltzer water! I have been sober for a full month now!" The two laughed, granting Jaune his leave.

The young billionaire waded around his guests until he reached the father daughter duo, with the latter holding an empty glass, and the former on his hands and knees wiping with a soaked rag.

"That doesn't look dry enough, Jackie." Bleiss growled. Jacques didn't respond. He kept his head down.

"Is there a problem?" Jaune asked.

"Oh, no problem at all!" Bleiss' attitude made a complete one-eighty as she went to pleasant gentlewoman from raging, two-faced... ill-mannered lady. "My servant made a mess, and I asked him to clean it."

Jaune looked down as the fluids from the rag pooled and dragged around with a every movement. As horrible as Jacques Schnee was, he didn't deserve this. He looked to Bleiss, remaining as cordial as he could. "Please, Ms. Gelé, allow me to assist."

With a snap of his fingers, Ruby and Yang came over. Yang took one look at the mess and nodded. She turned and hurried to the cleaning closet. Ruby, however, stood by.

"Ms. Rose," Jaune began, "would you be so kind as to escort Mr. Schnee to the washroom?" He leaned closer to whisper. "Keep him as far away from Ms. Gelé until the end of the night. He's been through enough. Let Pyrrha and Yang know as well."

Ruby nodded and helped the man to his feet. "Right this way, sir!" She dragged him away from his daughter, tugging on his wrist. He looked back to Bleiss once before slumping forward in defeat.

"Now that the trash is gone," Bleiss placed her focus on Jaune, "we can speak freely with one another."

Jaune didn't even look at her. "You are out of line, Ms. Gelé."

"Huh?" Bleiss blinked at that. "W-What do you mean? He's trash! Lower than dirt!"

"He's still your father." Jaune sighed. "I know he wasn't the best human being in the world, and he wasn't there for you, and he probably never cared before," he faced her, "but he's here now. He's trying to do his best, but you treat him worse than a servant."

"Mr. Arc, with all due respect, he's treated his staff just as horribly."

"Really?" Jaune asked. "And that gives you the right to treat him the same way?"

"What are you getting at?"

"You're horrible Bleiss." He got in her face. "You're just like your father."

The entire room froze at the slap that followed. Hundreds of eyes focused on the ebony beauty with her arm extended, and the alabaster titan with his cheek red. The relaxed and jubilant atmosphere became tense with tension as every waited for the next move. Bleiss was the first to break the new silence.

"How dare you, Mister Arc?!" She roared. "You have no idea what that bastard has put me through! My treatment of that waste of life pales to the countless cold nights alone without my mother because he couldn't bother to grant her human decency! For once in my life, I finally get the life I deserve, and you want to take that from me because you feel sorry for the man who took it from me?! FUCK YOU!"

Bleiss heaved as tears ran down reddened cheeks. She didn't care who saw her. She was angry, and she wanted everyone to hear her. She wanted everyone to know that her happiness was being threatened. The only thing she hated about this moment was that the one man she admired was threatening it. His response angered her further.

He hugged her. He held her in his strong arms and held her against his wide chest as his rough hands rubbed along her back. He shushed her quietly, whispering calming words in her ear. "Everything's alright. Just let it out."

She pushed him away and stomped deeper into the building, pushing any other guests out of her way. Hot tears poured from her eyes. Right now, she wanted to be alone.

Jaune sighed. "Apologies for the interruption, everyone. Unfortunately, not everyone has a happy beginning. But if we trust each other and do our part and treat each other with the respect we deserve, we will all achieve our happy ending." The room applauded his speech and the party resumed with it's original vigor.

"Nice speech." Jaune turned and saw Yang wiping the floor clean. "But 'respect we deserve'?"

"It's true." He defended.

"But is everyone owed the same amoumt of respect?" Jaune sighed. He hated when he wasn't completely right.

"After everything he did to my people," Adam removed his blade and pointed his sword at Jacques, "this debt cannot be paid by him-"

Adam's elbow snapped inward with his wrist moving outward, making his sword scatter to the floor out of his hand. He had little time to react as he was struck across the jaw, knocking him away from Bleiss. She ran away from her captor to Jaune, who then threw her father at her.

"Keep her safe!" Jaune barked, as he ran past the two. Jacques immediately wrapped himself around his daughter, turning his back to the battle.

"Get your slimy hands off me, asshole!" She screeched at him.

"No!" He yelled back. "I'm not losing you ever again!"

That was the last Jaune heard of the argument as he now focused on Adam. Gritting his teeth, he stood up, bringing his hands up in fists. Ren kicked the sword further behind him.

"Thanks, Ren." Jaune smiled.

"Thank me after we subdue him." Ren answered sternly. He then cracked a smile. "But you're welcome."

"Governor Kahn," Jaune called into the crowd, "I assume you had nothing to do with this, right?"

"Of course not." The Governor of Menagerie replied. "As much as I despise Jacques Schnee, I would never wish harm on his children."

"Good enough for me." Jaune squared himself. "Now, let's attend to our rowdy guest."

Ren rolled his eyes. "You always have to be dramatic, don't you?"

"You know the answer to that already."

"Hey!" Adam barked as he charged Jaune. "This isn't the time for sweet talking!" He swung his fist at Jaune, a wide downward left hook. Jaune blocked it with his right forearm.

"You're right. How rude of me." Jaune smirked.

"Allow me." Ren slipped his arms from behind Adam, over his shoulders and held him in a Nelson Lock. "Jaune?"

"Of course." Jaune stretched his wrists before balling his fingers into fists. "I'm not really one for violence, but I can't stand by when someone threatens my friends."

"Enough!" A sharp voice cut through the air. All eyes focused on the woman in white glaring at the three from the door. Behind her, a considerable number of soldiers swept through the grounds, some standing by behind the woman. "Release that man at once."

Ren slipped out and stepped away from Adam. The woman approached, now ignoring Ren, and stared down at Jaune and Adam.

"Winter!" Weiss gasped.

"Specialist Schnee!" Jaune chirped. "So glad you could attend!"

"Silence, Mr. Arc!" He did as she ordered, snapping to attention. His time in the defense force conditioned him too well, it appeared. "Explain to me why you were about to assailt this man. And cease your foolish eccentricities."

Jaune relaxed at the order. "Well, Specialist, Adam Taurus, vassal of Governor Kahn, went rogue and held your sister hostage. Lie Ren disarmed him, then held him in place to allow her to escape. Once I confirmed she was in good hands, I engaged Mr. Taurus."

"While he was unarmed, and held in place by Mr. Lie?" Jaune scratched the back of his head at the claim. "Mr. Arc, must you engage in vigilantism at every conceivable opportunity? Even Bruce Wayne has more tact."

"But not Tony Stark." Jaune chuckled.

"Detain them."

"Huh?" Jaune was immediately handcuffed, along with Adam Taurus. "What's going on?!"

"Jaune Arc, you are under arrest for threatening behavior." She leaned closer to him. "I advise you to be silent until I interrogate the rest of the party." She then turned to Adam. "Adam Taurus, you are under arrest for-"

"Shut it, dog!" Adam snarled. "The only thing I despise more than an Atlas soldier is a Schnee."

"So be it." Winter looked to her men. "Keep them separated, and interrogate everyone. Guests, employees, everyone." With a salute, her men began their work. It was going to be a long night.

It took almost six hours, but every party guest was thoroughly examined. All members attested to many things. First, and chief among them, was that while Jaune did intend to harm Adam, it would have been to ensure no harm came to his guests. And while Ren was an accomplice and had actually assaulted Adam, it was in the defense of another to ensure Bleiss' safety. Adam, somehow, snuck in his weapon and kidnapped Bleiss with the intent of harming her, her sister, and their father.

All that hard work for three easy to determine facts. Winter read through every testimony, a migraine growing from the repeated key words. She made her decision there.

"Take Adam and bring him down to the station for holding. We'll do a more thorough investigation with proper warrants."

Adam was dragged to the back of the Bullhead, struggling a few times before being tossed in. Blake let a small smile crack from her lips. Her maids noticed, and shared in her pleasure. Sienna, however, rubbed her temple as she spoke with her cabinet members regarding what happened tonight. She was expected to give a speech, much to her ire.

"Lie Ren, you are free to go. But bear in mind that once a hostile is unarmed, you are not required to instigate further, nor should you act as an accomplice in making things worse."

Ren nodded, knowing better than to argue with the Specialist. He stepped away with a bow, making his way to Nora. She leapt into his arms, bouncing on her toes at the "super, awesome, cool display" he put on. He smiled in return at her praise. Looking back to his shackled friend, they exchanged a look and a nod before he departed with his maid. Dawn was only a few hours away, and it was a long drive home.

"Jaune Arc." Winter said at last. "Once again, you narrowly escape my wrath by luck and luck alone. You acted in the defense of others, despite how it appeared on my arrival. I advise you wait until the police arrive before you decide to engage in vigilante gang violence against an unarmed opponent."

"So I'm free to go?" He asked with a cocky smile. Winter glared at him. "Yikes! I'm sorry!"

Winter rolled her eyes, then nodded to the guard holding him in custody. He unlocked the handcuffs stepped away from him. Jaune rubbed his wrists before looking to Winter again, smiling.

"You're still cute when you're mad."

Winter turned away, speaking to her men. He knew she was blushing, and she hated him for it. Once they left, he looked around. Most of the guests had left, save for Governor Kahn, Princess Belladonna and her maids, and the remaining Schnees. His maids approached, asking for his well-being.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." He hugged them together, Yang and Pyrrha by their shoulders, squashing Ruby in the middle. "We'll see to the rest of our guests, and then we'll all sleep in tomorrow. Day off. No chores."

The three nodded and approached the remaining guests. Pyrrha spoke with Governor Kahn regarding her vassal's sudden rebellion. Yang chatted up the Princess of Menagerie, who blushed at her approach as her maids, Ilia, Neon, and Serena, cooed at the display. Ruby asked for anything she could do for the traumatized family. Jayne smiled every one of them.

A man needs a maid, but he can't survive without his friends.
