One of my favorite moments from faire last year was when a small girl came over to my booth, saw this print, and declared her sheer disappointment and frustration at whoever had taken this photo, instead of helping me in my moment of peril.

I assured her that the photo had been taken the very second the swarm had attacked, and that my friend helped me right afterwards.

She still seemed very unimpressed. lol

Might be time to roll up a new party member (Adventurer 1, Robin Parry cover art, April 1986). Looking closely, the water forms a pentagram and the gazebo-like structure on the bank casts a reflection resembling a skull. Is this a very early reference to the dread gazebo? The timing seems unlikely, but the image invites speculation about what is going on in this odd landscape.

It might just be me but I don’t see Rico and Chimi as parents like,ever.I know that it’s canon now that they had children together post-time skip but they would’ve rocked the vibe of chaotic aunt/uncle who live either on the outskirts of the Luna Island or deep in the jungles and who do shit ton of dangerous things (be it protecting the kindoms from the outside forces,experimenting with magic or trying to fight off puma with bare hands).Meanwhile Eagle and Jaguar are in awe of what these two are doing and often beg their parents to go see the Skull Archer and Rooster Wizard. I just KNOW that Rico gifted the Maya siblings explosives at least once,while Chimi tried to teach them how to swim amongst crocodiles.
