I just wrote a huge long post with an update about my life since I’ve been doing a shit job of keeping up with things on here over the last six months or so. Then I accidentally deleted it because I am the biggest idiot in the whole goddamn world.

Let me try to recap. I am finally out of my probationary year at the good college job. Still much better than the bad college job, but all the bullshit and bad business practices appear to be universal, which is disappointing.

My family exists. The aunt who owns my house is about to be in town with her bad boundaries. My sister is doing a shit job of raising her kids and I can’t say anything about it. My parents’ age is showing in ways I can’t really ignore anymore.

My body continues to betray me. Neuralgia and neck/shoulder pain are getting triggered more easily and I’m not sure why. Migraines too. Blaming Covid seems like a copout, but there’s definitely been an uptick in this shit looking back at the two-year mark. New medication for unrelated stuff probably isn’t helping either. Fatigue is making it hard to keep up with anything, and I’m constantly feeling guilty about it. Cherish your meatsacks, kids.

To end our broadcast on a lighter note, I have new children. Jamie is six months old and Dimitri hates him. Sneil is the age of the universe, and I found him in our yard waste bin.

Anyway, I appreciate those of you who leave notes on my gay armyman/dragongame drawings, and my minimal-effort random reblogs. Thank you for reminding me I’m alive.
