Garceid or GarciaxReid ) anon back with one more little thought before i fall asleep. Reid grows his hair out longer than he ever has, and Garcia is obsessed! Playfully twirls it between her fingers when she passes him in the bullpen. He tries to hide a blush nearly every time,behind his mane, and it makes her feel so giddy but frustrated that he's hiding himself away. She begs him to let her braid it sometime, and he finally relents at a movie night with just them at her apartment. She braids it, meanwhile he sits quietly making soft happy sighs and small delighted gasps. When she finishes they stand in front of a mirror so he can admire her handwork. His hair sits braided up, high on his head, tendrils of hair frame his face. But finally his blush is on full display, and he stomach does a happy swoop. "You like this sweetie?" "Yeah, I mean. It's different, but I really like it. Thank you. No one has ever done something like this, for me, before. No one has, wanted to, really." He glances away and she can't have that happen, now when he finally let her see his reaction, and he deserves to know how he looks. "Oh! Sweetheart, you look so beautiful like this. So beautiful for me." And he gets such a wonder filled expression on his face, his cheeks burning bright pink, it runs down his neck and she just has to feel it. So Garcia lifts a hand to runs her fingers up his neck in a gentle soothing motion. She can feel the heat of his skin and the way he swallows,nervously, under her fingers. His adam's apple bobbing beneath her fingertips as he gazes down at her, his eyes wide and his plush mouth open slightly in awe. A gentle inhale and exhale, as he waits for her next move. He looks so soft that Garcia leans up, grabs at where his neck and jaw meet to drag him closer, and they share their first kiss.

I’ve been having a REALLY hard time mentally/emotionally recently and one of the things that I think of to help soothe me is being held by any of the boys. I usually go for Danny, purely because of how tall and broad he is, but also Josh would be so good to hold me cause we know he’s a physical touch kind of guy.

but yes I can see both danny and josh being their when you're at your wits' end.

I can see danny being the type of person to have you lay on top of him so that he can encase you in his big arms and rub up and down your back and play with your hair. you can also rest your head on his chest or in his neck.

josh is definitely a big spoon type of guy when it comes to you needing to be comforted. he's able to rest his leg a top your and hold your waist and nuzzle into your neck. he's also able to kiss your neck and cheek really well from this angle.

- i kinda like that she ended up looking like a mother-of-pearl inlay lacquerware!

- oh this was a subconscious choice, but Gale is sitting in seiza which is a posture for showing respect especially to elders. it's also known to be a painful position to sit in for extended periods of time, which is why it was sometimes used as a method of (morally dubious) punishment. however, experienced people can maintain this posture for much longer. food for thought :-)

- (edit: deleted this point bcs it didn't really make sense + detracted from the art a little;;)
