The phrase "I'm over today" doesn't even begin to describe how you feel. 

Nothing has gone right since the moment you woke up. Your alarm didn't go off, you forgot to transfer your clothes to the dryer so they were still wet this morning, and to top it all off your computer crashed at work. 

Tears of frustration slide down your cheeks and onto your shirt as you contemplated going to your parent's house instead of your boyfriend's. Chris was so good to you, almost too good, and you didn't want to burden him with your bad mood. 

A faint tap on the glass brings you back to reality and your opportunity to not ruin your boyfriend's day slips through your fingers. 

"Sweetheart?"

The sleeve of your sweater wipes your cheeks before you reach over and roll down your window. "I'm sorry." You're not even sure what you're apologizing for, but it feels necessary.

Chris frowns, concern evident in his eyes as he opens the door so he can be closer to you. He kneels on one knee and gingerly cradles your face in his big hands. 

"Honey, why are you sorry? What's the matter?" 

Fresh tears threaten to spill over your waterline as you gently shake your head. Chris patiently looks at you, his thumbs catch the ones that do fall and it makes the dam inside you break. 

Sobs rack your body as he envelopes you in his arms. 

"Shh, it's okay… I got you. You're okay. You're safe, baby." 

He holds you like that, running his fingers through your hair until your cries are reduced to small hiccups. You pull away just enough to allow yourself the room to look at him. His eyes still show concern, but there are also other emotions in them like love and tenderness that are reserved only for you. 

Chris kisses your lips softly and grabs your purse in his free hand, "come on, sweet girl. Let's go inside where it's warm." 

He doesn't let go of you until you're sat down on the living room couch. Dodger immediately comes to greet you, and the way he nudges your hand with his nose makes you want to cry all over again. 

"I'm going to go make you a snack and grab your favorite pillow and blanket, okay?" 

You nod and bury your face in Dodger's fur as he settles in your lap. He smells like Chris, like home, and it's enough to provide you the comfort you need until your boyfriend returns. 

By the time he's done, Chris has transformed his whole living room. The lights are dimmed, your favorite show on Netflix is queued up, there's a bowl of popcorn and a glass of your favorite drink on the table in front of you, and he's turned his couch into a makeshift bed. 

He reaches down and tucks a lost strand of your hair behind your ear, "can I get you anything else, pretty girl?" 

"Just you." Your voice is still shaky, but at least you're not crying anymore. 

Chris doesn't hesitate. He maneuvers you so you're both laying down, your back pressed against his chest while Dodger lays at your feet. His fingers brush your bare arm while he uses his other hand to push play on the remote. 

You're not paying attention to the show, but the low sound of it in the background is still comforting. 

"Do you wanna talk about it?" 

His question hangs in the air, but it doesn't make you feel pressured. It has quite the opposite effect, making your feelings feel valid before you've even told him what's wrong. 

"Just a lot of little things." You sigh, "today was just a bad day, you know? Everything felt like it was against me. I missed my alarm this morning, I'm dumb and didn't transfer my clothes from the washer to the dryer, so they were wet, and my work computer hates me. I got nothing done today at the office because it crashed and I'm pretty sure my boss hates me now too. I just wish I could start today over so I could stay home and spend it with you."

You lay your head on his chest and play with the chain of his necklace. The sound of his steady heartbeat keeps you grounded as the two of you just breathe together for a moment.

"I'm sorry you had a rough day sweetheart. I want you to know that not only are you amazing, beautiful, and talented, but you're also not dumb. Forgetting to switch your laundry is something we've all done. We're human, baby. It happens. And as far as your boss goes… I'm sure he doesn't hate you. You're a dependable, loyal employee and I'm sure if you explain what happened he'll understand."

You sniffle and nuzzle deeper into his embrace. "Can we just stay like this?"

"Sweet girl, we can do whatever you need to feel better. I'll cancel all of my interviews tomorrow too so we can have a lazy day indoors. How does that sound?" 

You gaze up at him and smile. It's the first time today that you've done that and it only makes it wider.

"It sounds amazing, baby. I love you so much." 

Chris kisses you sweetly, "I love you too, honey. You're my best girl, you know that?"

You giggle, "I'll always be your best girl."

Few things are as pretentious and arrogant as putting a watermark on AI-compiled "art" and post it as your own. I see this lately on DeviantArt (an artist community/ art sharing and hosting platform I've been a part of for 15+ years). As if you made it. As if you thought it up and made 10-20+ sketches before you found a composition you actually liked. As if you spent 20, 50, 100+ hours making it. As if you lost sleep making it. As if you sat on your ass for so many hours that your ass got flat and numb and your back aches, your wrist aches, you're hungry, you have to pee, and you're running on coffee just to function, and just realized that you haven't eaten or showered or even been outside all day.

Unless you have dedicated your life and sacrificed yourself - i.e. chosen your ART for years over hanging out with friends, partying, dating & hooking up, lying on the beach, clubbing, binge-watching Netflix or gaming, etc etc - you don't get to call yourself an artist and claim you MADE anything. Sorry, not sorry. This isn't me gatekeeping art; this is me calling out art theft.

I've "made" stuff with AI too. It literally took me less than 5 minutes. All I had to do was type some words into a program and wait for it to compile some images. THAT'S. IT. It takes existing artwork from the internet and pretty much mashes it together. It's not new. It's not original. You didn't make it. Honestly, I'm so sick of seeing it. DeviantArt is almost nothing but AI art anymore, and some people are blatantly posting AI images and calling them "digital art", deliberately not tagging it or disclosing it as AI. What's even more infuriating is that some have "subscriptions" and "take commissions", as in you can pay them to type some words into a program and have it steal art from around the web so they can call themselves an artist. Wow, that was easy! So glad they didn't have to WASTE years of their lives practicing their craft and honing those skills, am I right??

What comes cheap has no value. If anyone can be an artist by the press of a button, then art has no value. True value is the sacrifice - the energy that went into creating the work. The time and attention it took, the LOVE, and YES, the SACRIFICE. I know that's not a popular word these days. Everyone wants to have everything, but nobody wants to compromise and sacrifice for it and do what it takes to get there. Do the hard work without the guarantee of success.

Yes, I am salty. No, I don't care if you're offended. This is such a big fuck you to artists like myself, who have worked our whole lives to hone our craft. It's taking narcissism to a whole new level.

I'm not making art for praise or attention and recognition. I'm making art because I'm passionate about it, I LOVE it, and because it's my way of honoring God, my creator. It gives me purpose and meaning, it's my way of prayer and meditation and healing. It's fun and makes me feel alive and like a child.

AI is fun and all, don't get me wrong. But it isn't YOUR art. It's actually other artists' work that's being stolen and used to render "your" art. Let's not forget that. Be very mindful of this when using AI.

Humility is out of fashion and narcissism and hubris are the new normal. Welcome to Clownworld.

I don't know ANYTHING about video editing and stuff but I always wanted to make one for Seb myself, cause I have so many ideas and thoughts about it. And now, this wish has become more urgent and stronger 🥺

So the question is if you would mind explaining a little bit how you do it and what tools you use, what do I need etc...

I know this sounds probably dumb to you (and others as well) that's why I am asking on anon 🙈

And also I didn't know if it is ok for you to just dm you for that...

But I really appreciate the work you do and the way you show your love and support for Seb. I just wish I was able to do it too...

First of all, sorry that it took me a bit to answer this. And this is absolutely not a dumb question at all!

You have to remind yourself that you have to start somewhere and I don't mind answering questions.

What I use for screen recording footage from for example F1TV or from Sky Sports, is OBS Studio. It's free, it's great. Only thing is that if you want to take something (live) from F1TV or from Netflix you can't do it on Google Chrome, so I use a different browser like Opera or Firefox. & I'm pretty sure there are a lot of helpful videos on Youtube to get the right setup and how it all works. I would say it's pretty easy.

For editing I personally use Adobe Premiere on my computer. But that's only because I also need Adobe for school so I have the paid version. I wouldn't recommend paying for it if it's only as a hobby. There are enough free versions. I know some people also edit on their phones. I could never so I don't know anything about that. But if you do it on your laptop or computer and you don't have an editing software already I would recommend just searching on Youtube "free editing software for pc without watermark" and there are lots of videos with different kinds of software. It just kinda depends on what you want to edit.

When I begin making an fancam edit I usually start with the audio. I personally like to play around with the audio but it can get also very difficult so otherwise, I just take part of a song or an already edited song from youtube. Then I start taking the clips I want to use and put it on the timeline (so the part where you are editing) and I make sure that I follow the beat of the song when putting different clips next to each other. When I have done that I usually like to color correct it, but that's still to me extremely difficult. So you can also choose to go on Youtube again and search things like "green screen old film effect" or something like that.

And lastly I look if I want to use transitions or not. And that's kind of it when it comes to how I edit. With my DTTTTS serie I kinda do the same although that gets way messier lmao.

At the end of the day it's like any other skills you want to try out or learn, you just gotta keep trying things out and keep doing it.

I hope this kinda explains it. If you got any other questions feel free to ask (although know that I'm sometimes really slow at answering. Nothing personal just a me thing lmao)

And I also have a problem, the same person who this cover is for requested a Netflix Edit a few weeks ago. And I made it for her.

They didn’t really follow all of my rules though. Basically they didn’t give me the payment that I asked for. These are the rules. Number 3 is new so don’t mind that one.

She didn’t do 1 or 2 but I let it slide because I was so happy someone finally requested. She gave me credit but when I went back to the book it wasn’t there. And neither were the cover credits for the person who did the cover.

There are no credits on any of her books, I checked. She also already has a cover for the book she requested this cover for which is really weird.

I’m just confused on what she thinks is gonna happen. I put a sort of watermark there so I could get my credit either way.

I’m gonna do that with everything else because people do not need to be taking stuff from me without credit you know?

It’s just rude. I privet messaged her about it earlier but it’s like 7 am so she probably isn’t awake.

It's fine! I don't mind the length, but these graphics looks chef kiss and because they look so good and I know you worked hard on them so don't go back on your payment only adjust them for you or if their to extreme!

When someone doesn't complete your payment tell them immediately and if they don't respond in a certain amount of time then you should use their requests as examples so you will get more customers!

Highlights from the Fan Meeting

(took longer than planned. sorry..)

So, there were definitely A LOT of people watching during the event. At one point, it reached 26k viewers - but it could have been higher than that. They were also broadcasting through VLive so there were more. 

There was an earlier interview thing that was reposted later on on Instagram. I’m not sure if that was something exclusive to SK viewers or if it really was just a private interview (saw a news outlet’s watermark somewhere; Yonhap News’, I think). 

Either way, in that interview, Cho PD participated. He wasn’t there for the international fan meet, though.

Anyway, here are the highlights in a (mostly) chronological order:

• During the opening, the cast were introduced. Jaesuk or the MC did mention straight off the bat that this will be the final season. 

• Sejeong roasted Kwangsoo because of his hair 😂 It’s currently very long because he and Sehun had been filming for Pirates 2; Sehun’s hair was long-ish as well. But yeah - he got the most teasing because his hair is as long as Sejeong’s now lol

•  Okay, I gotta mention this: Jongmin was DRESSED TO THE T. He looked so nice, but it was so cute! He was just so determined to impress the international fans present. It just showed how much he cared about us and about how we felt about him. 

So yes: if you haven’t yet, give Jongmin some love. 

He was also asked at one point who he felt the closest to among the cast members, and y’all - he hesitated 😭😭 It was obvious he wanted to say he felt the closest to Sejeong, but he got scared because he thought the fans who were there might get mad at him 😭

But Sejeong, being the sweetheart that she is, kept encouraging him to pick her anyway by throwing hearts at him 🥰

Y’all, what are we gonna do once this show is over? This brOTP is the best when it came to roasting people! And they act like fr siblings 😭😭

• On the same question, after Jongmin did pick Sejeong, Kwangsoo made a remark, saying that he thought Jongmin was going to choose him. He looked hurt 😂

Side note: are we finally getting more Jongmin and Kwangsoo scenes this season?? 😃

• Not that long after, they played a game. Three of the cast members were chosen prior to the meet to draw a picture summarizing an episode. The rest had to guess where it was from. 

Kwangsoo was the first to go, and his clue - drawn nicely - pointed to S1EP5, The Last Vampire. Jaesuk was the first one to solve it, mentioning that it was the episode Park Hae-jin was in.

Seunggi was next, and it took the cast a while to figure out which episode it is. Can’t remember who solved it or if Seunggi just gave them the answer, but it was depicting one of the final scenes in S2EP10, The Flower of Death. It was that part where they were in Flower Killer’s hideout, when he finally told them who he really was while standing over Minjae. 

Kwangsoo afterwards said he was surprised by how terrible(?) Seunggi’s drawing skills were. Seunggi just laughed. 

Sejeong was next. She drew the detective team (beautifully, btw), and underneath the picture were the words versus + seven silhouettes with question marks on their faces. 

Kwangsoo praised Sejeong for her great drawing skills, and the cast agreed. 

The cast eventually figured out which episode, but they were hesitant to really speak of it.

It was then revealed that it’s an episode/case where the detective team faces off with a copycat team. We will see this and find out who the copycat seven are in S3. 

• Afterwards, they did this thing where a roulette chooses one of the members, the MC reads the messages written to them by fellow cast members, and they guess who they think it’s from. 

I’ll probably make another post later for this if you guys want since I can’t remember everything that was said, but basically...

> Jaesuk received messages from Sehun and Seunggi. Can’t remember what Seunggi said, but Sehun pretty much just thanked Jaesuk for teaching him 10% of what he needed to know about variety (he said the other 90% he learned himself lol) 

> Seunggi received messages from Sehun and Minyoung.

> Kwangsoo received messages from Jaesuk and Sejeong. Jaesuk said in his message that he highly valued him and Jongmin - and he asked them to stay with him forever (😭)

Meanwhile, Sejeong said that she’s thankful and sorry to Kwangsoo. When asked what she was sorry about, she said it was because she knew there were moments when it needed to be funny, and Kwangsoo would make a fool of himself to make that happen. 

(Side note: she interacted a lot with Kwangsoo this fan meet, too, so I have hope that I will also get the Kwangsoo and Sejeong brOTP scenes I’ve been asking for 🙌🏼)

> Sehun received messages from Jongmin and Minyoung. Jongmin said in his message that he was sorry to Sehun because he didn’t (couldn’t?) take care of him better. 

> Sejeong received messages from Jaesuk and Minyoung. Minyoung asked somewhere in her message for them to have a drink together some time, while Jaesuk asked Sejeong if she could help Kwangsoo land a role in her current drama 😂

Kwangsoo then revealed that Jaesuk always does that: whenever he meets with his friends and other celebrities, he always asks them to cast Kwangsoo in their drama or movie. The cast laughed. 

Seunggi then mentioned afterwards that he’s currently working on a new drama or movie (not sure which one), and he offered Kwangsoo the role of a mouse lol

• That was then followed by the Thank You messages from the fans. Some of you may be aware of this, but about a week and a half ago, on IG, the Busted Netflix official account asked fans to submit a 10 second video of themselves saying “Thank you, Team Busted!” in their native language. 

It was so cute, you guys! It just showed how much the cast and crew were loved by many all over the world. 

Although: there was one fan from Sweden or Norway who had a whole PROJECT D MARK HANGING ON HIS WALL. THE SAME ONE HANGING OUTSIDE THE MAZE IN C’S LAIR IN THE SERIES PREMIERE.

Where did he get that?? I want one, I’m so jealous!! ☹️

•  The fan meeting closed with messages from the cast. Most of them seemed so tired at this point, but Jaesuk proved to be the best leader the cast/team could ask for even in the end. 

I mentioned this on the first update, but he said he felt sad that the series was coming to an end especially since the cast had such great chemistry. It was heartwarming to hear because it personally gave me a sense of closure. 

To hear a cast member address the feelings a number of us feel is comforting, you know?

• The fan meet ended with bouquets of flowers (non-threatening kind 😏😉) and gift bags for the cast! They were all so pleasantly surprised, and it was so cute. 

Netflix seemed to be aware that the awards season just finished in SK, so they gave each of the members their own trophies bearing personalized awards! It was a weighty trophy, too; the cast commented on it.

I don’t know what the other members received, but Sejeong, I think, got the Bright Future Award. 

Myuk PD later posted on his IG pictures of this big gift bag that Netflix apparently gave him and the other PDs. One of the gifts they received contained a pair of wine glasses with an electric bottle opener in the middle. It was so classy and nice.

Bro - no one can say that Netflix didn’t love the detective team and the creators of the show. They threw all kind of love and attention on them, and they didn’t skimp on the gifts and ads either. 

There are other points from that earlier interview I was talking about, but I’ll put that on a separate post if you’re interested :) 

Detective Fam! There’s literally only two days before the final season drops! For those of you who live on the Eastern hemisphere, it’s just one day and some change!

Snowed In (a.i)

A snow storm is happening where I live now and this sprung to life plus I love winter and I’d love to spend a day in with Ashton. *le sigh

The weatherman said it would be a record breaking snowstorm and advised the public to stay off the roads until about afternoon the next day when the snow would stop falling. You and Ashton have rented out a cabin in Colorado for a little winter getaway before the craziness of album promos and interviews stormed it’s way in next. 

Ashton brushed it off and planned a whole day to walk the main street and check out all the little gift shops. You warned him profusely that that wasn’t going to happen while making sure you had enough food to last you a day and a half and called the front desk of the lodging to make sure there was a backup generator. There was. 

The next morning Ashton woke you up gently with soft kisses and back rubs (the best way to wake you up honestly, you weren’t a morning person like him) still excited about your shopping day. 

“Have you looked outside yet?” you asks rubbing the sleep from your eyes. 

“It’ll be fine, angel, it’s a little bit of snow,” he chuckles pulling on gray sweatpants. 

“Yeah?” you raise your eyebrows then glance at the closed curtains. “Take a look then weatherman.”

He cracks open the curtains then opens them wider. 

“Holy fuck!” he exclaims staring out at the white winter tundra. 

Everything was covered with snow while more still flurried in the wind, creating small snow tornadoes scattered about the ground. You giggle as he presses his head to the glass trying to peer up and down the length of the cabin. 

“Told you,” you giggle slipping from the bed and pull on his hoodie. The heat is on but there’s still a draft from the frozen world outside. “Let’s make coffee and snuggle.”

He doesn’t follow you into the kitchen so you work silently putting the Keurig cup in the maker and pull out two mugs. You get the creamer and sugar adding what you like in yours and what Ashton likes in his coffee before padding back into the bedroom. Ashton is still staring outside but instead of his head pressed to the glass, his arms are crossed on his chest. 

You set the mugs down gently on the dresser retrieving your phone and snapping a picture of him, you’ll post it later. You walk up behind him wrapping your arms around his waist, feeling the warmth of his back through his shirt.

“It’s so pretty,” he says twisting his torso so he can hold you against him. 

“Yeah, it is,” you nod admiring it for a moment. You grew up used to harsh winter days so while it was beautiful, you didn’t have to admire it for too long. 

“Come back to bed, I made you coffee,” you say kissing his chest. 

He rubs your back a few times, kisses your head then retreats from the window and back into the stale warmth of your bed. You hand him his mug then turn on the TV scrolling to Netflix and pick a random movie you’ve both seen. 

After your short movie time, Ashton wanted to go outside and explore the snow a little bit. He even wanted to attempt to make a snowman which you knew wouldn’t be possible because it wasn’t packing snow. But the way his eyes lit up who were you to crush that childish spirit?

You both donned your winter attire, happy you forced him to bring boots, and trekked outside. The silence of winter welcomed you with a soft whistle from the wind as it danced through the trees. Ashton took your mitten covered hand in his and you stomped through the snow to the edge of the woods. 

“Let’s try making Olaf,” he grins at you. His nose is already turning a light shade of pink and he looks too damn cute. 

You don’t know how long you struggled but by some miracle the snow stayed packed together into the shape of what could only be described as Olaf’s ugly brother. Ashton trudged to the end of the wood and gathered sticks but as soon as he put them in Olaf, he fell apart.

“No! I killed him!” he shouts causing his voice to echo loudly in the wintry air. 

“He lived a meaningful life,” you console, “no matter how short.”

Ashton looks at you with a pout but then giggles. 

“You have snow on your eyelashes,” he giggles trying to wipe them away. But the snow on his glove goes all over your face and you gasp at the sudden coldness to your skin. “Oops.”

“Oh yeah, ‘oops’ you jerk!” you laugh bending down to pick up some snow and chuck it at him.

It hits his face with a soft ‘fwump’ and he sputters it out of his mouth. A snow fight  ensues until he grabs your waist and you both fall into the powdery snow. You’re both covered from head to toe in the white fluff. Ashton looks too cute and snowy for you to pass up pressing your lips to his.

“You kissed my chin,” he laughs.

“I’m cold! I can’t feel anything!” you laugh back falling off him struggling to get up. 

“Let’s go back, I’m frozen, too.”

The warmth of the cabin washes over you but then brings attention to how cold you really are. Smacking your gloves together and stripping out of your snow things as fast as you can with Ashton following your moves, you can’t wait to get into that hot tub in the master bathroom. 

“I’ll get the tub started, come on,” he pulls your shaking body into the bathroom. He turns on the water then rushes into the bathroom to get warm and dry clothes. You’re still trembling when he returns and he grabs your hands pulling them to his mouth. He blows his breath on your hands.

“You’re s-so sweet b-but I c-can’t feel th-that,” you chatter. 

“I’m sorry, baby we shouldn’t have gone outside,” he apologizes checking the water. It’s almost at the watermark and he turns the jets on and makes sure the heat is set to a hot yet comfortable temperature. “All right, it’s ready.”

With frozen limbs you pull off your wet clothes with Ashton’s help and he holds your hand as you step into the tub. The water pierces your skin like a thousand knives but it’s a welcomed pain. You sit down fast, body still trembling as Ashton climbs in with you. 

He pulls you to his chest, his body heat transferring to yours instantly. You press your lips to his naked chest enjoying getting the feeling back in your lips. 

“How are you so warm all the time?” you ask lifting your head to look at him. 

“You make me warm, angel,” he pecks your nose. “We won’t go outside tomorrow. We’ll stay inside until it’s stopped snowing.”

“I told you so.”

He groans. “You’re making me feel like the worst fucking boyfriend.”

“I know a way you can make it up to me,” you smile climbing onto his lap. The hot water has done its job as you have feeling back in your fingers and toes but now you’re craving a different kind of heat. 

“Oh really? Care to share?”

“I think you can figure it out,” you smirk rubbing your core against his dick. You feel it harden beneath you. 

“You might have to tell me my little snow bunny,” he licks his lips before ducking his head to wrap his mouth around your breast. He sucks and licks, teeth grazing your sensitive area as you gasp out. 

“My mouth is frozen, I can’t,” you sigh. 

He releases your breast with a pop then moves to the next one while you grind impatiently against his hardened member. You let out a whimper at the mere idea of sliding down on him, having him fill you completely. He’s sucking on your breast probably attempting to leave a mark when he releases it with another pop. 

“I’ll let it slide this time, bunny,” he sighs situating you on his lap. He pushes himself into you and you gasp as you slip down him so easily. “But you’re going to tell me everything you want me to do to you when we get out of this tub.”

Being snowed in for another day won’t be the worst thing in the world.

I just watched @taylorswift 's #Netflix doco: "Miss Americana" I didn't know what to expect from it. I loved seeing the songs being produced, in studio vs the acoustic songwritting. I also enjoyed hearing her swear & seeing her mum. It was quite sad, though but very relevent. It spoke about how we're trained to be "good girls", to say "sorry" for taking up space, to not say anything (even if it's important) incase it upsets some people. I am definitely one of those people who apologise for literally everything. For taking up space, for showing emotion, for my health conditions, for not always being a "good girl".
