Just remembered that Tyrion’s introduction to the story is him back-handspringing off of a fucking wall only to have nothing but bad knees and mobility issues for five whole books until it’s revealed that his secret parkour skills are one of the ten bajillion reasons his father wants him to eat poison and die. After rewatching Trolls World Tour, I just realized the relevance of the high five at the start of Trolls Band Together <3
It means they have a strong connection!
On the second movie he failed to talk with Poppy about their relationship and then she called him a friend. He got so caught up on that, that they failed to make a connection and having a good high five.
Failing miserably.
Just look at him, he feels so bad
Also I love how easy the confession was at the end
Just so casual
"and I love that we are different"
"And I love you Queen Poppy" the way he says it, so simple yet clear
"And I love you too Branch" and Poppy and her little smile, that was the smile she used to give Creek before the whole fall out, she´s now smitten with Branch :) and she loves him too, what else can you ask?
the love was always there, they just needed to have a better connection, you know, the whole thing where she wasn't actually listening to anybody because she was too focused trying to be a good queen
Also I love seeing Branch happy, it´s so tender
And they finally have their perfect high five!
Wait, did she hug him at the end? 🥺
I hadn´t noticed
I love their relationship, since the first movie and how it evolved
it´s just so tender and wholesome

arya underfoot is my fave sobriquet in asoiaf. i love love love it. arya is "dubbed" underfoot by her father's men. its a sign of affection between the men who served the starks and arya who took in interest in them. she had a close relationship with all of the people in winterfell and this name is an enduring part of that.
arya says fat tom came up with the name. its one of the last things hullen says with his dying breath. when his son harwin recognizes arya its what he calls her while holding back tears. even in adwd jon and theon both think of her as arya underfoot.
its a name arya likes which is why its frequently used in contrast with horseface - a name that made her feel like an outsider. arya underfoot, though, is a gesture of arya being embraced by her community. it really feels like the truest essence of her character.

I could be misreading the moment, and I’d be curious if anyone else has mentioned it already. But. In ep 4, after Stede has gone to look for the ship and Buttons is performing his full bird ritual. Ed tiredly says “Buttons, people don’t change. Into birds or otherwise.”
It’s such a specific line and I love it. I think he’s thinking about himself. I think he’s thinking about whether he is able to change, maybe into someone deserving of love, or maybe into someone who knows they always have. And he’s quiet and a little sad as he says it. People don’t change.
But then he’s surprised, because Buttons changes. And his eyes are wide and he watches him fly. And then Stede comes back.

So I'd never really drawn Elise before !
Kind of hard to find the right balance between Sonic character proportions and my regular human art style, huh...
