I feel like it would also manifest in other ways, like him feeling the need to pull you in for a dance at the bar when you're both pretty drunk to show off how he's just much more equipped to be your partner than anyone else, twirling you around in the kitchen at midnight when both of you happened to be awake, or maybe the first time you take him to a club in your world he's willing to show off some of his more permiscuous dance moves

But oml imagine Nilou dancing for the creator and Venti's just like absolutely not and you get dragged away immediately cause that's his thing, she's not allowed to make a move on you when he's right there

And then there's the crack concept of dance battles for your affection, though I'm not sure if we have a lot of other bird affiliated characters, maybe Xiao 👀

This is so fun I just want to start a series going over all of the other animal affiliated characters quirks, and also how they would all clash with each other—

Like Venti's need to keep you close and tucked away in your mutual room nest would absolutely contradict say Zhongli's want to show you off as his prized possession out and about, splurging all of his money on you and just showing off as the highest form of a power couple, assuming you had both of them as consorts they would fight for days on end about that

There's so many different dynamics that could go right and wrong it's funny to think about

You stand over the cowering nightmare in their own bakery. Blissfully ignorant to their heritage, you lick the blade of your knife. The shop owner had become a good friend, and their feelings towards you were obvious. You looked forward to the betrayal in their eyes when you revealed your true nature; it was your favorite part besides the taste of flesh - but there was something alongside fear in their eyes. Desire.

"G-gumdrop... I get that you're peckish, but you really shouldn't eat me" They laugh. "I'm not apposed to it either, but not like this.. "

You grin; taking the nervousness in their voice as weakness. You turn the knife downwards, slashing open their arm as you mount them. Sucrose howls. It doesn't hurt. In fact, the look you give their gushing blood brings them joy, but they fear what's to come. Even with the deepness of the cut, Sucrose's blood is darker than a regular person's. Thicker too - like cherry syrup. Taking a whiff, it kinds smells like it too. Your heart feels fuzzy, but you ignore that buzz and go in for a taste; dragging your tongue up the length of the cut.

Sucrose tries their best not to moan meanwhile you're puzzled. Their blood has that metallic undertone, but it tastes like artifical cherry flavoring. You take another lick. It's not bad - it's good even, but you can't fathom the reason for the odd taste. It leaves you wanting more.

Discarding the knife, you rip off a chunk of their flesh with your teeth. Sucrose is panting now; their mind melting from the pleasure that your bite inflicts. Funnily enough, yours is beginning to rot as well. Your limbs feel heavy, consciousness in a day. As you chew on their flesh, you hear a faint laugh. You picture it as theirs at first, but the laughter becomes more gurgled the louder it gets. You look up at the sound of footsteps, eyes widen in fear at the sight before you.

A person stumbles forward, their face a twisted mass of flesh and teeth, and their throat ripped out. Bite marks cover the entirety of their body. From the tags around their wrist you can read their name - a previous victim.

You scramble away. Another appears from behind a table and slowly crawls towards you; their legs bent in odd angles and missing bits of flesh. Sucrose rises too, a sad, but blissful smile on their face. They crawl over to you, blood coating your face as they force you to look into their eyes. They laugh.

"Ohhhh, Y/n. My sweet gumdrop... I told you this would happen. Since you've already begun there's no point in stopping. Do it. Eat up me like your favorite candy. Chew on me like I'm a piece of taffy. Fucking rip me to shreds so I can relish in the pleasure like the disgusting whore I am~ I promise I'll take good care of you while you recover and we can do it allll over again. Forever~♡"

do you still ship collei/sucrose? i'm so disappointed it seems not a lot of people ship them despite windblume being dedicated to them :(

Ah well it could be cause of the possibility of the age difference and Collei still being a minor.

Sucrose, while using the medium model, is actually a full adult (Something like 19-21), while Collei is perhaps between 15-18. This is also the reason why Collei x Amber isn't a big ship as well. Amber being very much an older teen while Collei just a young teen when they met, it might feel a little weird shipping it (and of course there is Amber x Eula) For some people they don't feel comfortable shipping it.

But don't think you have stop shipping, this is just guess work on their ages. They could be the same age, both adults or even just a small age difference. Unfortunately, Hoyo never lists ages down of characters, so it can be hard to really know. As long as you aren't shipping the obvious children and family, I think it's fine. Ship to your hearts content.

Personally, the possibility of Collei being a minor did make me not really ship them. And also found out about Rosaria x Sucrose recently so I'm a bigger fan of that.

Regardless of whether it's romantic or not the relationship between Sucrose and Collei is wonderful and I'm glad we got to see it in Windblume.

Hoo, talking about not liking a ship in this fandom is so risky but I'm happy to see everyone is sane to hold a calm conversation here! I have a problem with some ladies in Genshin because some just seem so bland like Ayaka and Jean, like you said before. For me Ayaka literally have no personality and (look at the risk) Beelzebub, not the puppet, the Archon. Those two just seem so... uninteresting, before the plot of the Shogun being 2 beings in 1 I was so hyped for Baal because she looked so amazing and scary the type of "don't give me any bullshit" but turned out that was the puppet and not the Archon... Kokomi was in the list too but after seeing her dealing with mental health I began to go soft for her. But also, I do understand the appeal these characters can hold and I'm happy for anyone that have them as their favorite be it for meta or for lore and characterization. And while I do like Zhongli and Childe (because, alongside Diluc, I also love Zhongli very much) I can see why some people don't like the ship, if we're going to analyze Zhongli as a character, we can all agree that Zhongli was pretty much an a-hole, and Childe being Childe would never trust in him again, they can still have little encounters where they eat together but I think this is more so Childe can keep an eye on the strongest and oldest ex-Archon-without-a-gnosis and nag him for a spar with him. BUT may I offer you: Zhongli x Diluc x Childe skjdfnkjnsd O god how I like rare ships, there's always so few people that like them and they're always so creative. ~S

Well, I do my best to ensure people know I would never invalidate their opinions. And ya know... I don't think my opinions are law. So I hope I feel like I am a good place to try and have that discussion. Especially since I also try to make it clear I'm not going to have a discussion if my opinions aren't respected.

I do have a fear that most Genshin women are built to be sold rather than built for their characters. Like Jean, Ei and Ayaka feel like really good examples of that. I'd also put Keqing in there, too. Yes I will forever be bitter about her being a 5-star over Ningquang or Beidou who not only make more sense to be 5 but are waaaay more involved in the story and have stronger personalities.

Like to be hoenst Jean, Ei, and Ayaka. They are my meta Builds. I built them to play a part. I do not care about them. Ei currently is my Xiao battery. Jean is out there to Heal my Childe, and Ayaka is a sub DPS for my Diluc. Though with Ayaka, I can work around her in relationships to my favorite asshole, Ayato. So I'm a little more partial.

And finally, for ZhongchiLuc. I'm not an OT3 person, but It's the only way I personally can see that relationship working is Zhongli and Childe bonding through a mutual love of Diluc. If you want more of my thoughts about it, I'll just kinda... Direct you to this post. Also, here are some other posts I'm making about them, which... might mean I have a thing in the works, but I'm currently editing. (Mod AUs are a pain in my ass)

Rare ships are honestly really fun in my opinion. And I'm looking forward more character to try and Ship with Diluc. UuU.

Sucrose giggles laugher, eyes widen in a crazy. "Oh, my sweet confection. Please devour me. If you reject me now I might just melt away completely from the pain."

where did you hear that sucrose is an adult? none of the genshin characters have canon ages and the only indicator is whether or not a character drinks as the drinking age in china and teyvat is 18. fischl and noelle are the only characters who explicity state they can't drink and are therefore minors. most of the tall model characters are shown or talk about drinking. since collei appeared to be younger in the manga and it had been several years since then i think it's safe to say she's around 15-16, and sucrose seems around her age. albedo even refers to sucrose as a kid i believe.

it's great and all to have headcanons but i don't think it's right to push your hc as canon (and yes it's only my hc that collei are sucrose and collei are 15-16 given that one of them is referred to as a kid)

In one of Albedo Voice-lines, About Sucrose: Habits he says they are "...about the same age..". So that's where I got the head-canon that she is an adult.

But on to the more important thing, I agree with you on not knowing about their ages. I did say on the last post that my assumptions could have been all wrong. If it seemed like I was pushing my own head-cannons, that was never my intent. I was just explaining the reasons why people may not be shipping them as much. I probably wasn't as clear in my wording, for that I apologise. (Even though it's my first language, I'm still shit at English)

Like I said before, we don't know the exact ages. So I think it's fine to have any canons and ships as you like.

I hope this clears it up and that you have fun in shipping them!
