“why aren’t you sleeping yet???”

is kinda confused as to why you’re not sleeping bc the only sleeping habits he’s used to is hank’s- who sleeps easily

after you explain a little to him he quickly connects the dots and nods a little (like that adorable little nod when he’s sat in the police station with hank omg he’s so adorable fufbdkdubffoi)

“okay… i’m gonna find some solutions and we’ll work through it.” he’s so practical-

silently searches into any sleeping pills you might potentially need but he won’t tell you that until he has all the evidence that you need medication

will go through a bedtime ritual with you even though he doesn’t need it bc he cares

isn’t huge on cuddling at first because he’s incredibly new to it but he finds that it helps soothe you back to sleep when you wake up so he cuddles you all the time

likes rubbing your back as you cuddle into him (it’s his favourite)

he’s awful at making drinks tbh but he does his best to make you a hot chocolate and other soothing beverages <3

limits your caffeine intake too

literally tugs you under his arm and then falls back asleep

he fucking sucks at staying awake bc he’s getting old. he needs his beauty sleep 😭

however- like connor he will do a bedtime routine with you. doesn’t let you drink alcohol or caffeine, even limits your screen time just in case

will let you cuddle with sumo on the bed even though sumo takes up a lot of space

however, sumo will get up in the middle of the night to get some water and then flop down on his own comfy bed so you have to roll over and cuddle hank instead

makes you hot drinks and they taste amazing <3

will take you to the doctors to get sleeping pills if it’s extreme insomnia

but if it’s more mild and a broken sleep pattern he will cuddle you back to sleep every time you wake up

he’s also an insomniac so he stays up with you

the two of you passed out on the couch together most nights <3

treats you to coffee in the morning when you’re both exhausted but still have to go to work

likes spooning but also likes chest to chest, both help him fall asleep a bit quicker

likes talking about his day with you when you’re both cuddled up together and watching some shitty film that mainly plays in the background

can’t sleep when you’re separated, so you practically live at his apartment

if you both work at dpd then he’ll put coffees on your desk in passing and shakes you awake if you pass out (loves it when you do the same for him)

adores days off where you both order food and lazy around together trying to catch up on sleep

overall he’s just as sleep deprived as you but you’re helping each other <3

will also research medications like connor and suggest them to you (also suggests going to the doctor if you’re really struggling)

Yellow Light, Blue Light (Male!Reader x Connor DBH)

so, there's barely any connor (dbh) content, so what abt an scenario where connor waits for his boyfriend to come for work and they both live with hank and sumo? i mean like since connor started to feel love he gets so excited when seeing his boyfriend coming back with new things to show him and the three of them + sumo eat dinner together like a family (it sounds so wholesome 😭💞)

Nobody would ever be able to make him admit it, but Hank would've been lonely without Connor around.

So at the terse point where Markus' revolution created a new way of life in Detroit and across the United States, Hank very casually offers that Connor stay with him.

Their relationship often fluctuates confusingly, as Hank sometimes does feel like he takes on a fatherly role to Connor, especially in dealing with emotions now that he's accepted that he's a living being

But then they become more mentor and protegee at times, and then there's the most often state where they're very close friends and the one of the only men robots people Hank currently feels okay with hugging.

Yeah, the bucket of bolts is a hugger and now that Hank can't pretend androids aren't alive anymore he doesn't have the heart to push Connor away when the man hugs him.

It's also a little confusing for Hank because Connor doesn't particularly mind whatever terminology he uses, while other androids with their new autonomy still argue about whether "man/woman" or "human beings" are desirable and acceptable terms or microaggression or outright hate speech in reference to them.

In any case, it comes as a surprise to Hank when things go back to his comfort zone and Connor asks him about very familiar emotions.

It's immediately clear to Hank that Connor is experiencing love for the first time, and when Connor asks if he might need repairs (despite several diagnostics coming up with no problem), Hank practically needs to go to the hospital for a collapsed lung from laughing so hard.

Hank doesn't quite understand what a human-android relationship would entail - he still hasn't had the courage to ask if Connor's like a Ken doll down there, and he doesn't know he really wants to know.

But Connor seems fulfilled, and happy. In his weird analytical Connor way. And it makes Hank happy, in his own grumpy way, that Connor keeps asking him for advice, for help.

Hank isn't really sure how it ended up that Connor's boyfriend started living with them, but honestly he doesn't really mind. It's... nice to have another human in the house, and to feel the house being alive.

And to have someone else to walk Sumo when he feels lazy.

It's also kind of adorable to see Connor on the back foot scrambling around to make food for when his boyfriend gets home from work on their anniversary of moving in together.

"Connor. Con- Con! You don't need to measure the salt out to a grain. Jesus, Connor, don't give me the puppy eyes - I'll back off. Just... calm down a little."

He's a little surprised when he opens the door (Connor's dealing with the food) and you hug him. He's even more surprised that he doesn't mind.

Hank always gets a kick out of seeing just how much Sumo gets excited when Connor's boyfriend gets home - almost as excited as Connor does.

Connor acts all casual about making dinner, letting you unwind and relax and pretending like he wasn't just measuring every ingredient out to the gram.

Hank good-naturedly ribs you both about being so affectionate, playfully accusing you two of practically sitting in each other's laps at the dinner table.

Connor smirks - full on smirks and just says "Well, Hank, since I don't need to eat, shouldn't I have something to do with my hands?" and Hank chokes on his food and laughs and bares his teeth in a grin as he calls Connor a sick little bastard and it's mean words but the intent is fun and you all laugh together.

It's interesting - Hank notices how Connor sometimes acts more 'human', and sometimes doesn't do those mannerisms programmed into him by Cyberlife, like imitating breathing or blinking. It makes Hank a little proud, even more than the uneasiness. It doesn't make him less of a person, just... different.

And seeing you love him anyway. Hell, seeing Connor love you back, clearly and obviously - Hank can't help but smile and needs to listen to some metal in order to get his head back on track.

Besides, Connor's boyfriend is a pretty cool guy - he's helpful even if Connor generally insists on doing the chores because he doesn't need to sleep, and he even likes to introduce things to Hank as well as Connor.

They feel like a family. A weird, silly, neurotic family, but family all the same.

Third Piece of the Puzzle

I just wanna see a happy family with the reader, Hank and Connor so I impulsively wrote this up at like 1am and I have no idea where this is going. But let me know what you think! This will be a series but it depends on how well my commitment issues will take it.

TW: this does deal with depression and grieving, alcoholism (from Hank) and suicidal intentions. Most of the story takes place from the game itself but just as a warning, please read with caution if those are a trigger.

Hank Anderson.

He used to be admirable, a role model to look up to. He was someone people would use as a good example of how to be a cop. He was intimidating at first, but after getting to know him? He was the person with the biggest heart out of anyone you knew. He had trained other members of the police force, watching them become good people of law enforcement and get assigned to new partners. He had the title of the youngest lieutenant in Detroit history for a reason. He earned that promotion.

But, after the unfortunate incident with his son, everything changed for the worse.

Who could blame him though? Getting into a horrific car accident on a cold winter day, waiting around for news while your son is having emergency surgery and only being told by the android, who performed the surgery, comes in with nothing but dreadful news.

He couldn't focus on anything else that damn android was saying. In his head, it was so clearly the androids' fault. It was the one who did the surgery, it was the one who couldn't save his son, it's all the robot's fault.

He became everything but a role model for beginner police officers. He started snapping easily, he started relying on alcohol to cope with his grief, his depression, and the spiralling, loud and intruding thoughts that rang in his head. He started rocking up to work after midday, he even skipped work a couple of times. He used to be this, he wasn't that, he never did this, you'll never hear the end of it and neither will he. He couldn't see a way out of the spiral but the alcohol makes things easier temporarily.

He's lucky enough that Captain Fowler won't fire him, even after countless threats for doing so. He's lucky enough to still have a job regardless.

This is where you come into the picture.

You were a detective, you were in the homicide division and very occasionally, you would get assigned a case dealing with deviant androids.

You were his partner. He helped you write reports and show you how they should be written properly. He trained you, he watched you move up the rank and become a detective. He even treated you out to dinner as a little congratulatory party. You were someone he was proud of.

He would get assigned cases with you often; him protecting you and vice versa. Putting oneself in risky situations which lead to arguments after the case.

"Did you even think about how you could've gotten yourself killed by doing that?!"

"They were about to shoot you and you think I'm going to stand back and watch that happen?!"

None of you would let the day end without making up though. Whatever argument happens between the two of you needs to be resolved before any of you go back home.

The two of you would grab lunch together on your breaks, you would hang out outside of work and just have a couple of drinks and talk about anything and everything. He also made sure that his intentions were nothing but friendly since he did not want you to take things the wrong way. Bitching about work, very certain people even, an incident that happened in one of your personal lives. He would occasionally invite you over to his place to play with his son and his lovable dog, Sumo. Sometimes he would even just invite you over to watch the game, only to be shushed by Cole whenever the two of you were being too loud.

He considered you one of his closest friends, family even.

He felt a little embarrassed to consider someone who was relatively younger than him as one of his closest friends, which earned a laugh out of you when he told you one night.

"Seriously, Hank? You're worrying over that?"

"Hey, I never said I was worried about it. I just find it a bit embarrassing being friends with a kid."

"Oh, come on! You're not that old, you're only... Double my age."

"You make me feel old."

But did he care about what others might think?

Never and that hasn't changed.

He started to decline your offers of going out for lunch runs. He wouldn't come up to your desk every morning and annoy you before starting his work. When the two of you went out drinking, it wasn't the same.

He would drink until he could barely walk while you would try and talk him out of the drinks. You would have to drive him home, force him to drink water, give mandatory pets to Sumo, and force him into bed.

Every time, right before you leave his bedroom, he would always call out to you and you would always reply.

"I'm sorry, please don't leave me."

"I'm always here for you, Hank."

Not matter how kind-hearted and understanding you can be of his situation, you need to look after yourself too. Doing this every single week for months on end? It's not healthy. He's becoming slightly dependent on you. It gets tiring looking after someone who's struggling, but if they're not doing anything to help themselves without relying on you, should you really be putting in all that time and effort in?

You can, but there's always a limit.

As much as you love Hank and his old man ways, you can't keep doing this. You're important too. You need to put yourself first.

So you started distancing yourself from him. It hurts doing so, but god was it painful for him to see you avoid him. Even the awkward small talk was unbearable. What happened to keeping things open between the two of you? You knew he would understand if you told him but would he take it well? Absolutely not. You were all he had after Cole's passing.

He knows it's his fault you haven't been doing well and he knows you're avoiding him for the sake of your well-being, he knows. Not only did he lose his son, but he had also managed to lose someone who was family to him, all because of him. It's another spiral he has fallen into.

Androids have become more and more popular. They're everywhere; running their owners' errands, working at any job and place you'll see, helping their owner with a task or simply keeping them company. They're only doing what they're told to do and what they're programmed for.

Captain Fowler had assigned him to be Hank's partner, even after knowing the hatred for androids the old man has. Connor had been assigned to cases involving deviant androids. As much as Fowler wanted him to start straight away, Hank didn't seem to come into work that day.

There was a lack of people in the station tonight, maybe the people on the night shift haven't started yet. The sound of faded pages flipping, chairs rolling and sluggish footsteps filled the room. He walked over to an officer and began his line of questioning.

"Excuse me, I hope I'm not disturbing you." You looked up at him, fatigue clear as ever on your face. You looked him up and down, taking in his presence before speaking. Why did they make an android look so handsome?

"Not at all, can I help you with something?"

"I was hoping you would know where Lieutenant Anderson is at this time." He saw your tired smile drop immediately. He thought of all the reasons as to why you suddenly seemed saddened by the name. What happened? Were you close? Did he do something to you?

"What's your business with him, if you don't mind me asking."

"Captain Fowler has assigned me to work with him as his partner. We will be working on cases involving deviant androids." His voice was monotone, with little to no emotion, no fluctuations in his tone, nothing like that. He stood with his hands clasped in front of him, patiently waiting for your response.

"Hank isn't going to like the news of that. I can't believe he's on deviant androids as well..." You mumbled to yourself. "He should be at Jimmy's Bar, I can show you the way there if you'd like?" He nodded to your request, stepping back as he watched you turn off your terminal and grab your jacket. He could easily find the bar himself and he should've declined your offer, it would've been quicker to find him, alone. "What's your name? I don't think I ever got it."

"My name is Connor, I've been sent by CyberLife to assist DPD." You introduced yourself, telling him about which division you're in. You brought up the fact that you have been assigned several cases involving deviants, more as a sign for him to know that he can go to you if he's stuck.

Not like he'll ever need the help.

The walk to the bar wasn't awkward, if anything, you were enjoying the interaction with the android. Connor was interesting, he's unique. It felt good within you, finally having a conversation that wasn't work-related or Detective Reed annoying the living shit out of you. You have other officers that interacted with you, but none filled the gap of a true connection. You missed it.

You missed Hank.

"May I ask you a personal question, detective?"

"Of course, you can, Connor. You're free to ask me anything. But please, just call me (Y/N)." You waited at the zebra crossing, waiting for the pedestrian lights to turn green because you know damn well Connor will be on your ass for jaywalking.

"What's your relationship with Lieutenant Anderson?" He looked down at you, observing your reaction. "You seemed upset by me mentioning him earlier. Has something happened between the two of you?" Do you tell him? Have you told anyone about what happened? Have you been bottling this all up this entire time? Was it right for you to just start emotionally spilling everything to him, at this very moment?

Wow, Hank was really your only friend at the station, how sad.

"We... We used to be close." You started hesitantly. How were you supposed to go on about this? Why is it taking so long for the light to go green? "I used to be his partner before I got my promotion. We still worked on cases together though, just not as much." The blaring noise of the pedestrian light going green interrupted. The two walked to the other side and continued their walk.

"I won't go into too much detail but... Something bad happened that turned Hank into the person he is today. I tried to help him but it was starting to have a bad impact on me when trying to look after him." You saw the neon sign of Jimmy's Bar come into view, making you stop in your tracks.

The feeling of anxiety rushed through you. You came here all the time. Was it because you knew that Hank was inside? When was the last time you talked to him? Or even made eye contact with him? You've spent so long avoiding him, even with occasional awkward small talk. When was the last time you sat down with him and had a chat about anything and everything? How long has it been?

"So I stopped talking to him, for my own sake. You can ask him about it but maybe after getting to know him a bit." The android stood in front of you and nodded. His circle LED showed an orange hue before going back to a calm blue. He had been listening intently to every word you spoke, making sure to not miss a single thing.

"I will head in and see if the lieutenant is inside. Thank you for showing me the way, have a good night." He gave you a nod before making his way towards the entrance of the bar.

"Wait, Connor." He felt the warmth of your hand grip around his wrist. He stared down at you, tilting his head in confusion. You looked like you were having an internal argument with yourself. The way you opened your mouth but nothing came out, the way you avoided making eye contact with him, the tight, trembling grip you had on his hand.

"Is something the matter?"

"Hank is a good person, Connor. He didn't use to be the person you're about to meet. Please trust me on that." Once again, his LED flickered an orange amber before returning to blue.

"I will keep that noted." When you finally looked up at him, relief shown on your face. You let go of his wrist but for some reason, he didn't want you to. He stared down at you, confused about the software instability notification popping up on his window. "I should get going now."

"Oh, of course! Sorry, Connor." And with that, you turned around and started making your way back to the station. Should he keep an eye on you until you got out of sight? It's late, anything could happen at this time of night. He's already stalled enough time on his current mission, he should be going now. He can't waste any more time.

When I first saw Nick from Monster x Mediator in a youtube let's play video he gave me Woodcutter lumberjack vibes mixed with a yandere lover.

I really like his design and the way he said he knew a character by a blog felt like something that would happen in Zable's realm jumping travels but not have the walkie talkie just randomly appeared in the room not knowing the place.

Zable would probably write the 100 pages story about him being a boss in a Illbleed fan game then the B movie plot twist is him killing the Illbleed worker "controlling" him then chop down the exit to just leave the park not wanting the prize money.

I mean what does a immortal being need with money?

But just leaves but with the love interest crying that they want the prize money.

I also imagine the longer the player takes in the level by using the item sensor collecting items to heal up before battle, just standing around letting the time go, or just seeing the new traps in the level.

I can see Nick gets bored of waiting and just kills the Illbleed control worker and when you walk in the boss room he acts like you stood him up on a date but it was actually the boss battle with the boss room trashed up with axe marks everywhere.

Then you actually have to battle him to get him to leave with a axe yourself.

But you finally get to use your items in battle which is a first and last time this would happen would to give him a newly written story which would stop the battle with a cutscene of him just reading it sitting down.

Would be funny for the player to rescue him out of the level but you don't get the extra prize money for completing the level on time to get a different cutscene.

I imagine the gimmick of the level is the time limit your character gets before entering the boss battle stage.

The longer you take the more B movie silly the cutscene will be while if you do it on time it would be a normal cutscene with the Illbleed worker still alive.

But in the story you get more points when you get the B movie cutscene.

When the character is fighting Nick I can imagine the player also having a Axe themselves to attack and having a long robot glove hand weapons that pushes him close to the boss exit.

The goal is not to kill Nick but it's like a sumo wrestling match to which person gets pushed close to the either of the doors which would stop the battle.

If the player wins then a cutscene would him leaving the boss area while the Illbeed workers try to capture him but he pushes them out the way killing them.

If Nick wins it depends on the time limit.

If you are on time then he can kill you with his axe or choke the player which will cause a bleeding death or strength empty.

If the time limit if past then when Nick was going to kill you with his axe then a robot worker steps in to catch the blade then tells the player to run to the goal with him chasing you with the blood all over him which means he killed that worker.

Once you reach the goal of the level ends and you renter the hubworld where he's just there to chat with the player like he's a actor in a movie that was just playing how role.

Maybe see him drinking a couple of Hassy with the cans around him.

Also have Nick do that laugh he does and have the player randomly laugh back but awkwardly while saying "Why are we laughing?" then have the cutscene just end like Nick was going to say something but the game cuts him off.

If Nick had a Pokémon team.

He would have a shiny Haxorus as his main Pokémon for comfort.

Nick would have a Golurk too as a swapout for the last Pokémon.

Basically the Illbleed styled fight but would have a Killerman boss stage with room to run around in and maybe try to make Nick trip due to how tall he is then just push him with the long range hand weapon to push him out of the stage.

That would be awesome.

I can also see my oc Zable Fable say when finally pushing Nick to the exit with the long robot glove hands weapons.

"It's time to catch these hands."

I wish we got more info on Nick from Monster x Mediator.

If Zable Fable would interview him and ask questions like.

"Like does his species bleed?"

"What is his favorite food?"

"Have you touched any grass lately?"

If John Doe was in Soul Calibur I think Voldo would be a good body type for a custom character since he attacks weird and Nick is Astaroth.

Both offspring would both have stitching on their bodies and look humanoid with tails.

Zable Fable Interactions With Nick

Zable Fable would be shocked if any version of the character blocked Nick and would said it was a accident due to the blog website this character used had too many fake sexy bot accounts that were spamming their page then accident blocked him before checking out his account.

Maybe have Zable say this while unblocking him in real time.

" I'm sorry dawg so no hard feelings."

If Fable was in control will try to eat Nick's axe this is in Zable's human vessel body to stop that attack that was harming the vessel body.

Fable while in Zable's vessel body would have Nick's axe stored in the vessel body would try to trick Nick into running at the vessel trying to choke them while Fable holds onto the door knob to open it if he gets close to successfully get him out the room.

Have Fable cough back up the axe to give back to Nick then have Nick hitting the vessel like fall down bear.

My copy of Spy x Family Official Fanbook: Eyes Only arrived earlier, so I decided to do some translation (PLEASE DON'T REPOST)

Q: What are his likes and dislikes?

A: Likes: Reliable Information, well tailored suits. Dislikes: War, Illogical behavior.

Q: What disguise does Loid think that fits him the best?

A: I think almost everything? He can't use it in the operation if he doesn't think it's perfect.

Q: What disguise has Loid himself considered as the most "aggressive" so far?

A: "I think that Sumo-wrestlers from the Far East were physically absurb" (Loid's Talk)

Q: Success rate of a mission?

A: Although their identities are not revealed, it is likely that there are many instances in which their objectives was not achieved. The intelligence activity itself are series of simple task that are far from easy-to-understand as a success or a failure.

Q: What was the biggest crisis he experienced in a mission?

A: Anya's interview was more nerve wracking than stopping a nuclear bomb. So in other words, I think it's his current mission.

Q: How strong is his fighting strength compared to Yor?

A: If we're talking about simple physical ability, Yor is 100, and Loid is about 60-70, I think? But since he's a spy, if he was to avoid direct contact and use fire-arms and other weapons, I think they're even.

Q: What kind of conversation does he have with Franky aside from work?

A: Loid is unlikely to talk about himself, so I think he'll just listen to Franky's complains while giving him a cold retorts.

Q: Was there any other codename ideas other than "Twilight"?

A: There was something like "Mirage / 蜃気楼 (Shinkiro)" in the rough draft. I was thinking of the based image of "Unknown face". "Twilight / 黄昏 (Tasogare)" was also a tentative name, and I also think it's not a very cool name.

Q: How many hours does he actually work every month in his missions and in the hospital?

A: He seems to be a light sleeper, so it looks like he can only sleep about 2 hours. And since he works all the time except when he's sleeping, it's roughly 2 hours x 365 days.

Q: How much is his annual income from his mission and the hospital combined?

A: I don't know how much is the average income of a psychiatrist at that time, but in today's Japanese yen, it's about 20 million yen? WISE's salary seems to be much lower, depending on the reason why he was hired.

Q: What is Loid's specialty dish that he makes at the Forger's house?

A: He played a role of a first-class chef, so he can make anything.

Anya Forger:

Q: Please tell us more physical data.

A: She seems to have grown taller. Her shoe size is about 14 cm. People in this world (my design) have smaller feet.

Q: Does she have any other favorite food than peanuts?

A: She often eats omelette rice in the school cafeteria. Also, she seems to like crunchy little animal-like nibbles.

Q:What are her favorite subjects at school?

A: It's Classical Language.She may thinks that she's also good with the other subjects.

A: This is the zip code of Kawasaki City, where I used to work.

Q: What was the robot Yor was holding in the short story?

A: It was in Anya's room. It was put by Loid along with other toys and picture books to create a children's room. Maybe she doesn't like it that much.

Yor Forger:

Q: Please tell us more physical data besides her height!

A: She cannot measure her grip strength because the measure tool always breaks.

Q: Please tell us about her ice-pick-like weapon!

A: It's a weapon called "Stiletto". It's the image of thorn thorns. There's no particular nickname for it.

Q: Any reason why you use stiletto?

A: It's because she can give them relief in a single blow without prolonging their suffering.

Q: How much is the success rate of "Thorn Princess" work?

A: There may be witnesses, but in a sense of "getting rid of the target", it's probably 100%. It seems like Garden only entrust her with a task that they are certain she can accomplish.

Q: What's her specialty killing method, and her weak killing method?

A: Her specialty is stabbing. She's not good at poisoning. She's also not good at using other complicated tools like guns, bows and arrow (she's good at throwing in general)

Q: How good are her skills as a clerk at the City Hall.

A: In the middle range.... probably not enough to make her boss mad at her, maybe?

Q: What was the biggest mistake she've ever made with alcohol?

A: "Not that I know of, but I've never been in trouble with the police.....I think...." (Yor's Talk)

A: Good grief.....

Bond Forger:

Q: What does he do at home when Anya isn't around?

A: He does a lot of things like rolling around, playing with his legs, and sometimes messing around with PenguinMan.

Q: Please tell us in order who's he's closest to the Forgers (including Franky)

A: Anya → Loid → Franky → Yor

Q: Does he likes walking? How many minutes a day does he go for a walk?

A: He likes it, Bond isn't very active, so about 30 minutes a day. When Loid's busy, Yor takes him for a walk.

Q: Is he in good terms with the bomb dog Shepard? (The dog that bit Loid?)

A: They've been together for a long time as experiments, so they're in good terms. By the way, the Shepard is currently kept by Sylvia.

Q: Who does bond love to "smell" the most?

A: Anya, and he also seems to only like Yor's smell.

If you give him to me, I'm sure I can take him from being the school idol to the least popular guy in school in a day.

A. I've been going to Spirits and Such more often because interesting things occasionally happen there. Besides that, sometimes I take a walk, watch TV, or I check out your house. (evil laughter) I'm kidding, of course.

A. He's always trying to play pranks and thinks he's got Mob fooled, which is pretty funny to watch. Or at least that's what I thought, but it turns out Mob is really just that gullible. Reigen's like that guy who keeps building shaky towers out of building blocks, and it should come as no surprise when they collapse. He's always using some weird and question means of maintaining it all, and sometimes I just want to poke him a little bit and make him fall. ...I have to repress that desire.

>Q8. If you could become a human and become Mob's friend, what would you do?

A. Become a human... Make friends... Travel, eat food, play sports. Anything would be good, but I'd just like to pass the time as usual. That's enough to make good memories. ...or actually, I think I'd like to do sumo! Even if I can't beat him in powers, I want to use my bodily strength and muscles to toss Mob around. Let him see how that feels like.

Or this yt lady on tt that was claiming that no other artists has transcended genres as successfully as taylor did. 😭 And she mentions Rock? Girl where? And literally there are tons of artists who did it way better than her.

Or that one video which they have now deleted bc taylor was getting dragged. It was a video of her just walking on stage and singing (not live) and the caption was like: I can't believe she was doing that for the first time. ' - Some small part of me does feel sorry for these delusional fanbase. Cause she has the highest grossing tour right now. Big emphasis on right now cause that record is not forever. Anyways they can not post much about her performance anywhere without people using it to drag her. Cause let's face it. She can't perform. She's not serving. She's giving nothing. Her dancers slay more than she does.

Pffffft Taylor went from pop country to pop and never changed again. Slightly different vibes? Sure. Still pop. She wouldn't know rock if it smacked her in the head.

Missy Elliott is hip hop. Early P!nk (ie Most Girls) is R&B. Sumo Cyco is goth rock (+ others, but still). Taylor Swift wouldn't touch any of those genres with a 10ft pole, and quite frankly she'd suck at them if she tried lol.

She doesn't "transcend genres", and considering she can't even make different versions of pop sound good, I think we know why.

And no, she can't perform. Let me flex my expertise here: I'm a trained dancer. Specifically with 26 years of training in tap, jazz, ballet, theater, and contemporary, with additional training in commercial/street jazz (aka music video and tour choreography) and various other styles in sporadic classes. I've literally been choreographing since I was about seven years old, and have been analyzing commercial choreography since I was 15.

That said,

Her performances are not only weak, but they show me that her tour choreographer either

Doesn't exist and she created all of her own "dancing" herself

Doesn't know how to adapt choreography for someone with virtually no dance technique

Actively has something out for Taylor and is trying to make her look bad

I'm going to reference "Look What You Made Me Do" from the Eras tour, because that's the most recent and clearest to illustrate my point

Okay, first off, right off the bat, her hand floating on her hip looks awkward and uncomfortable. It's giving "over-excited 8yo at recital". For someone with as much experience as she has performing, I'd expect her to look more settled in her beginning pose. She looks like she's overthinking, and thus it looks under rehearsed.

Then we have that flexed hand - yes it's a nit pick, but that pose belongs very few places outside of a 6yo's tap dance.

Movibg on, her robotic movements look messy as fuck. Sharp isolations like that are HARD. A lot of dancers with years of training struggle with getting the kind of sharpness you would expect to see from that choreography. And on the scale of a stadium like she's in, everything is amplified. If it's messy, it's going to look five times as messy as it might on a smaller scale, because the further away the audience is, the more detail gets lost. So you're movements need to be SHARP in order to translate to the audience. Add to that that this is clearly filmed professionally/intentionally, and it really just looks unprofessional/poorly planned.

Meanwhile the things like the "don't like you" scolding (besides looking childish) are so small that you wouldn't see them beyond the front row. When you're choreographing even for a normal stage, the #1 rule is make everything BIG and intentional. If you're kicking, you're hitting AT LEAST a 45° angle, and with the force of trying to kick the winning soccer (football) goal. Taylor doesn't do that. Those movements are small, sad, and weak, and it honestly looks lazy. I know a 10yo currently doing a competitive dance solo to this song, and I shit you not that 10yo is 50x more interesting to watch perform than Taylor.

So yeah, her music has been one note since Fearless one note (uninspired pop), and her "stage presence" is about on par with an 8yo who doesn't want to be here.

Like he's a big chonk chef robot who can prepare you the best sushi but looks grumpy 99% of the time. I bet he does smile sometimes.. Don't make him angry or else he will challenge you in a sumo wrestling fight hah. Too bad that as a robot his functionality doesn't include eating (you)! He could lay you on a strawberry bed and cover you in chocolate and cream.. But he will never be able to try and taste a bit of his masterpiece...

My friend saw this in sketch stage and said it looks so sexual and for ONCE IT WAS UNINTENTIONAL LMAO ABSOLUTELY UNINTENTIONAL. 👀

Fucking friday- fic preview 2

@sweeteatercat asked for what I had so here's yet another DBH one-shot I'm working on

complicated hankconvin, angst and draaaaaamaaa

A lot can change in a near decade.

Androids, for instance. They went from cell phones to sentient beings with rights in half that time. Case and point, the heavy influx of android officers post revolution and the reinstatement of one specific RK800 to the police force.

Hank Anderson is another example. He has gone from, top of the academy, number one father and husband, to disgraced, angry, grieving father with a disciplinary record as thick as his dick.

Then there's Gavin. Gavin who’s never been the same since Toni.

The world changed, but he just didn't. Couldn't. He felt halted in place by that one specific, traumatizing moment in time. His skin sure didn't forget the event, how could he expect his mind to?

Now, It's 2040. The Robot Revolution that started in Detroit and shook the world has started to balance back out. Things are different, some good, some bad. And that includes life at the DPD.

In terms of androids and Hank, they are great. Too phcking great for Gavin’s preference. The star pupil and mentor duo are all just about married at this phcking point. The plastic replacement is even living with Hank and Sumo. Where Gavin wants to be. And it hurts so bad that Gavin has missed every one of his chances with Hank.

Connor makes Hank laugh at something, so loud Gavin can hear it all the way across the bullpen. It fills Gavin’s throat with bile spurred on by his irrevocable jealousy. Connor wasn't even human, and yet Hank has gone from Connor’s biggest threat to his biggest obsessor.

So much for still blaming them for killing Cole…

Gavin’s gotta get out of here. He can't watch them anymore. He needs air.

“Going to smoke,” he says to Tina who barely even acknowledges him, nose deep in her phone swiping through Tinder. Gavin wishes he could trust casual sex enough to use the app. But not after Toni, Jason, and Eric.

Never again.

His hands are shaking so hard he drops his lighter three times onto the half frozen surface of the smokers patio. He phcking hates today. Hates Anderson. Hates his plastic replacement. Hates that he will never be good enough for anybody again… Hates that he’s so ruined.

He’s three pulls into his third cigarette when his fist comes in contact with the bricked pillar. Pain shoots through his split knuckles and radiates up his dominant arm into his shoulder. It still doesn't hurt as much as being alone does. Having nothing and no one. He’s old (37), he's damaged, (seuxally truamatized beyond repair), no one wants him (why would they?) Not in the way he wants them. Ever.

All that’s left for him is a lifetime on this endless, repetitive cycle. Forever.

Something drops and splashes behind him. It takes him a moment to check back in and realize who and what it was.

The what, was coffee. Rapidly cooling and soaking into the bottom of his pant leg.

The who was Connor, Anderson’s new phcking soulmate, who stands there with his dumb mouth open wide enough to catch flies. His eyes are on Gavin’s hand, which now that Gavin looks at it he can see it’s bleeding. Alot.

The overwhelming feeling of being caught sends Gavin’s defenses reeling.

“PHCKING WHAT?”

Gavin watches as Connor shows fear for the first time ever. Good. leave me the phck alone.

“I-I…” Connor said, looking at the empty styrofoam cup and reaching to pick it up. He doesn't look at Gavin’s hand again, but he finds Gavin’s eyes and that's worse. “Detective…”

“The phck are you doing out here Connor?”

His LED flashes yellow.

“I...I was bringing you a coffee.”

Gavin scoffs. Yeah fucking right.

“Why?”

“A peace offering.”

A peace offering?!

“For what? Am I not leaving you alone enough?"

“Yes. Well, I suppose that's the root of the problem. I don't, want you to ignore me.”

Was Connor joking? Did Gavin fall and hit his head?

“You want me to go back to picking on you?”

“No. I just- a fresh start? For the both of us. Maybe? We are coworkers now and I think it-”

Gavin’s disbelieving scoff is mean.

“No thanks. I’m not really looking for any friends.”

Connor looks genuinely upset by the rejection and Gavin doesn't know what the phck he exspects. What the hell would they even have in common? Except for a hard on for Hank.

“Very well. Can I get you something for your hand Detective? It's still bleeding.”

“Get the phck out of here Connor.”

When Gavin comes back from the bathroom he can feel Connor’s eyes on him. He ignores him. He doesn't understand why the android suddenly cares. No one has cared about or even paid attention to Gavin Reed in a very long time.

“Hank I have to tell you something.”

Connors' tone has Hank's eyes widening in fear.

“Oh, okay shit, is everything alright?”

Connor's LED flicks between red and yellow.

“I- don't know. I think I witnessed something I feel compelled to report. But I’m worried about betraying this person's confidence.”

“Uh, okay, well, um, is someone else’s life in danger because of this… event?”

“No.”

“Is this person a danger to themselves?”

“The potential for that… is high.”

“Shit… It's someone here?”

“...Yes.”

“Do I know them?”

Connor laughs ironically.

“Yes.”

Hank’s quiet for a moment and then,

“...Shit.”

Connor’s LED is a steady pulsing red.

when Hank’s trained detective eyes land on Gavin who had just sat back down from the bathroom, Hank stands and sighs.

“I’ll handle it.” Hank promises.

Zoology trivia in a recent Doraemon episode: "勝ったらばガニ" ("Winner Gets to Eat Crab"), an anime-only story not based on the manga. In this one, the main characters need to defeat a king crab robot in at least one of three randomized contests for the chance to have all-you-can-eat king crab.

Gian thinks he can outmaneuver the robot in sumo wrestling because "crabs only walk sideways", but it reveals that king crabs are closely related to hermit crabs, and so can in fact rush forward to knock him out of the ring.
