-> AI scraping being everywhere and Gen Z seeing nothing wrong with using AI to "help" fanfiction or outright "write it" for them, while older fanfic authors have struggled for years to perfect the style you love

-> comments being down across the board and consumption culture being at an all time high. a fic gets 800 notes practically overnight and doesn't get a single comment (and sometimes I literally have to beg for comments/feedback on my fics when I know that hundreds of people are reading them)

-> me, grinding my teeth while pouring my heart and soul into a 40k fic that I know will be forgotten by fandom in a month or could possibly be stolen to be sold as a "novel": I do this because I love this. I do this because I love this. I do this because it's my passion. I don't want to quit doing something that I love so much.

I am gonna work on one of these while working on the Dad Spencer fic. These should be shorter oneshots (5k-7k) while the Dad Spencer fic is expected to be at least 20k, so I want to have something to work on parallel to it. Please read the descriptions of the fics before voting on the poll.

The Spencer Cane Fic - (S5)Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader. Smut/PWP. Very simple - Spencer finds out that you are turned on by his cane and (after thoroughly disinfecting it, because he is a germophobe and wants to keep you safe) - he fucks you with the handle. Especially because his injury keeps him from fucking you more vigorously and he wants to see you satisfied. 

Spencelle x Fem!Reader Fic. Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader x Elle Greenaway. Smut/PWP. (Possible Sequel to The Perfect Brat.) Spencer acts up again - his bratty mouth getting him in trouble, again. And Elle punishes him by tying him to a chair, blindfolding him, and forcing him to guess which one of you is touching him. When he can’t guess correctly, his punishment becomes even more severe. (Which definitely includes - orgasm denial.)

Jemily x Fem!Reader Fic. Jennifer Jareau x Fem!Reader x Emily Prentiss. Smut/PWP. (Based on an idea from my old blog.) You are out at a bar with Emily and JJ, and when you go to get a refill on your drink, Emily notices someone talking to you. She knows that she shouldn’t actually be jealous of Brad, ‘a real FBI agent’ making eyes at you, but she brings him over and parades him in front of JJ - and they both decide that you need to be reminded exactly who you belong to.

My Main Account Has Been Shadowbanned

hey everyone!!!

hopefully you're seeing this

I have just discovered that my main blog @tenpintsofsundrop has been flagged/shadowbanned - it has either been (incorrectly) flagged as nsfw or spam (and yes, I post nsfw content in the form of smut, but that flag is meant for people who post visual nsfw content). Anyway, when this happens, it restricts access to features - I can't message people from that blog, I can't give asks to other blogs (basically, any communication features are banned when you get flagged).

And also, it causes your fics and other posts not to show up in the tags. So until the issue is fixed, I will not be posting anymore fics, even if I finish writing them. (Which, again, very frustrating - especially considering that I've heard some people say they have had to wait months to get unflagged/get back to normal.)

I am very, very sorely tempted to make another account altogether, but I am holding back on that for now.

I am very frustrated because I only made this account a few months ago - and I guess maybe that's part of the reason I was flagged? Because this is such a new account? I just want to post my fics on tumblr for people to enjoy. That's it. But I can't do that if I don't have access to all the features.

As usual, my fics will be available on my AO3 (idk if I will ever post new fics on there first, tumblr is my go to, as shitty as it is) - and if you need to contact me, message me on this blog because apparently, I still have messaging on the library blog, but not on my fucking main.

you don't need an AO3 app - round 2!!!

"AO3 is ugly and I hate the formatting!" -> you can download site skins. very gorgeous ones. and you can use them to change the aesthetics and visuals of AO3. just search 'AO3 skin' on Tumblr or even on google and you will be in A Whole New World. (and those searches should yeild tutorials on how to install the skins as well - it's not something I know a lot about, because I used to primarily use Quizilla and FFN, so I am more than used to Ugly Website. AO3 is very aesthetic and pretty compared to those.)

"AO3 is too bright!!! it hurts my eyes!!!" -> there is a dark mode. scroll down to the bottom. there is a heading that says 'customize'. under this heading, hit the button that says 'reversi'. that is their version of dark mode. and again, you can look for site skins that you like that have a darker background.

"I want to be able to make reading lists!" -> you can make bookmark collections on AO3. In your bookmarks, there is a button that says 'add to collection' beside each work. have fun. go ham. (Also, you can make private bookmarks if you are reading something with more controversial content that you don't really want others to know about - and please know, that any bookmark comments you make on public bookmarks can be seen by the author.)

(this last one made me laugh - because it seems like people are just coming up with bullshit excuses to 'need' an AO3 app when there is literally nothing that an app can go that AO3 can't.)

"my memory is really bad because of reasons sooo I remember to use things better by having them on my homescreen like an app!!!" -> create an AO3 shortcut on your homescreen. most mobile browsers have the capability to put a shortcut to a specific link or a specific website on your homescreen so that you can go straight there - like you would with opening an app. and it can be labelled 'the AO3 app' while simply having the icon of that browser. you can even do this with a link to a specific fic that you are in the process of reading (even down to the specific chapter that you were on). there is literally 0 reasons to have or use an AO3 app.

and remember kids!!! any and all apps with AO3 in their title are not associated with the real archiveofourown in any way, shape, or form - they are unofficial, and technically, they are illegal. and using them is putting all fanficition writers at risk legally (even if there is no active lawsuits right now) - just don't fucking use them. it is a threat to the entire fanfiction hobby just because you want 'the app experience'.

the archive is a non-profit website with 0 ads for a reason, and those apps are scummy scammers who put ads on our stories to make fast easy money when none of the people who made those stories ever consented to it.

Okay this is something I just randomly thought of:

Because Spencer is such a fan of Halloween, but he's more into the spooky/mystical/fun/childish side of Halloween, imagine being one of his co-workers (that he's had a long time crush on) and when someone at the BAU is throwing a Halloween party, you show up in a certain costume.

One of those slutty costumes that is very close to be lingerie (because being slutty on Halloween is fun).

And when Spencer sees you - his jaw drops. This is the first time he's ever seen you wearing something so revealing (because usually you wear the typical conservative office wear). And it has every possible fantasy churning in his head.

If something is victim to this Clause, it means that I will stop working on it before it’s finished, and I will likely never mention it again unless asked about it.

Hey everyone!

Because I have been having issues with my main account being shadowbanned, I did make a back-up account. That is @tenpintsof-sundrop so you can follow it if you are ever worried that you'll lose me on the internet. I have decided that if two to three months this issue isn't sorted out, then I will delete this account entirely and simply move there

It really sucks that this has happened, but as I have been saying for the past five or six years, I will keep posting my fics on tumblr until it is no longer a functioning website. And then I'll just find another website to post on (including AO3). There's not really anything that is going to stop me from posting fics, and while moving accounts is annoying, being shadowbanned and my fics not being in the tags (not being seen by people who are looking for them) is even more annoying.

Anyway - in the mean time, I am working on fics and I am gonna be enjoying watching Saw X tomorrow

Hi hi!! Yes pony Moon does do contortion! How he doesn't break his pony bones-- I don't know! But boy does he love pretending to be a pretzel! A few songs I have in mind as of now are-- The Platters: Twilight Time, Bobby Vee: The Night Has A Thousand Eyes, The Del-Vikings: Come And Go With Me, Frankie Valli and The Four Season: Ronnie, The Beatles: I Want To Hold Your Hand, The Turtles: Eleanor, The Beach Boys: Be True To Your School, The Penguins: Earth Angel, Paul Anka: Put Your Head On My Shoulder- I have many more in mind, but these were the ones I kept listening to today!! Sun and Moon would play guitar and bass! There's I think 2 or 3 songs in the list that are from the 60's so-- I'll keep the DCAs' range at that! 50s-60s music! :D As for them reacting to y/n being Gregory's older sibling- I'd imagine they're horrified at first. But! Once they get to know y/n better, they can't help but feel dumb at all the similarities that went over their heads! One similarity is y/n's clumsiness- they always have a band aid on somewhere, or their quick wit at comebacks! That's probably their favorite!! :] I can't wait to have more time to finish up drawings andfanfic to share with you guys!! This au has given me more reason and fun with drawing and writing! Some FNAF SB cosplay stuff I made for MoMocon!

The Sun and Moon masks do spin, I havent put the straps on the back to fit around my head yet so it'll be a last minute adjustment. Sun's head doesn't fit in my luggage and Moon's nightcap is already somewhere in my suitcase.

The Vanny backpack has decemt enough storage can hold my wallet, portable battery, phone, camera, ect while I'm walking around.
