@insta.greener One of the more striking edibles growing in my garden at the moment. This is my second round of Purple Kohlrabi that I planted in late May. This cool season brassica has the most beautiful electric purple coloured stems. I like to harvest them when they are at tennis ball size. I enjoy eating the entire plant and eat the leaves while they are still young and tender, they taste similar to kale. The Kohlrabi can be eaten raw or cooked and has a crisp white flesh, it tastes similar to a broccoli stem.
