Ok but I really loved Swamp Thing (2019) and I’m still heartbroken they cancelled it.

It was a pretty good show, with really fabulous makeup/practical effects, and a good storyline and good acting, and I fucking adored Alec/Swamp Thing’s character. No more teen dramas please. Only swamp drama.

will say i think it's a fucking excellent idea on mojang's part to have an update focusing on breathing new life into existing parts of the game. new sign and bookshelf variants, new uses for bamboo and cactus, an excuse to hunt down desert villages.. looking forward to what else they decide to tackle this time around

#:) #was going through the phone i had from 2014 to 2019 and found a couple old selfies i took #and when i tell you i have never seen a more dead behind the eyes individual swamped in despair in my life #like a little jpeg of me aged 20 should NOT have contained as palpable a misery aura as it did. and yet #anyway it's insane how much i have genuinely improved as a human being in the last 18 months #on and off i've been jokingly calling my self improvement process a miraculous resurrection but wholly and genuinely i think that did happe #like. the me now looks way more alive + happy than maybe i ever have in my whole life???? #also what's insane is that in these pictures of me from ages 17-22 i look a million times older and wearier than i do now in my mid 20s #moral of the story is resurrection is THE hottest thing a bitch can do #idk just. very glad i didn't succumb to the pall that had been cast over me for the majority of my life #i am very glad i am alive here and now despite it all. i certainly never believed it lmfao

Swamp Thing (2019)

Swamp Thing (2019) is a show that does everything right. Its got gore, mostly good special effects, spooky lightning, good camera shots/movement, good lighting (especially in the first few eps), the actors do a serviceable to good job, there's setup, there's mysteries, there's intrigue, there's twists-and-turns, etc. Swamp Thing is a show that immediately knew what it wanted to be and what it wanted to do. And did a great job... then was cancelled ten episodes in. Swamp Thing (2019) is the first superhero adaptation since Batman Brave and the Bold that made me want to read/learn more about these comic characters (Swamp Thing and even Blue Devil). Lowkey, I genuinely encourage more people to watch this show (its currently on Tubi). Its only ten eps long. And tho... the last ten minutes of the final ep feel rushed. Its honestly a great show. If you like horror, superheroes, spooky tv, small towns with a lot of mysteries and unhinged characters.. watch this show.
