I feel so incredibly awful for Rimmer everytime I watch terrorform. Imagine how hurt he must’ve felt when he was told that’s he’s not really liked, after all that. Even after being cast aside and ridiculed his entire life, to actually recieve (what felt like) genuine compliments, and then to have all of that torn away in a matter of seconds must have really been upsetting.
