Like... did you see him in this scene? You simply cannot script something like this, you just can't. Yeah you can write things like "Alex watched Henry lovingly as he played the piano" but it isn't good enough, is it? His look here is kind and loving and soft and attentive and admiring and I could go on and on. Henry is so lucky to be on the receiving end of this 😩😍

Oh and don't miss Henry's reaction to this tho

You can't tell me he didn't feel the butterflies 🦋🦋😏 l mean, look at that shy smile 😍

And then they both start giggling. I love how grim Henry was like a moment ago (crumbling on the stairs) but now he is just happy to be with Alex, like the weight of all the dark things he was carrying within himself have been lifted. Just like that.

These two are so cute in the piano scene that I feel giddy everytime I see them 😩😍 no matter how many times I watch the scene

But wait, there are more from here. The "heyy they still love you" and the hand on shoulder. And to think they shot this during reshoots 😩🤧 they truly are chemistry professors.

It doesn't even look like there is a 4/5 months gap (they wrapped production in August 2022 and did reshoots in January 2023) between this shot and the previous one.

I love how relaxed Henry looks with Alex around even though they are still unsure of what the future holds. And Taylor's currlss 😍 I'd look at him the same way.

I know this doesn't get talked about much but I think Taylor's acting was brilliant here. Alex was so worried, so stressed, so afraid he cost his mum her election (the first US female president ever), you can tell how much this means to him. His "I'll breathe when we win" 😭

Then he sees the graphics on the news and goes to check on his mom only to find her working on her concession speech and he feels even worse

he immediately calls Henry to be with him. We get another loving hug. Alex truly looks like he is so so happy to have Henry by his side. He looks like he is finally breathing 🥺 like nothing else matters as long as they are together

And then Ellen is elected for a second time (by winning Texas) and we get this moment 🤧 and Ellen's "thank you" ❤️

Here's another scene done during reshoots. How do they make looking at each other so couple-y. Look at Henry here, like he knows Alex, he just knows what Alex is thinking. He is like "I see you babe, I hear you, no matter what I will be with you" without even uttering a word lmao what even

Summary

As an on sight therapist for STRATCOM in Nebraska, you’re tasked with providing quality therapy for US military personnel and government agents. After a number of sessions with you, Leon notices a substantial stability in his sanity yet is threatened when you are offered a position back home, closer to your family and friends. Your choice doesn’t sit well with one particular client, who can’t fathom you out of your role as his therapist. Leon has found a means of keeping his precious therapist and realizes you are the key to his permanent solace. You were obviously destined to be his in some form. Why dream of him letting you go?

A\N: I was heavily inspired by Satoshi Kon’s Perfect Blue 💙, the movie FRESH(2022), ExploreVenus’s Something Permanent and Guardian Angel by NexysWorld. They’re all great works, especially the fics with Yandere!Leon *chef’s kiss*. They both certainly have been feeding my obsession with Yandere!Leon in general at this point.

A brisk breeze was enough to stir Leon from his sleep, peering from the bed to notice the curtains blowing as the window was left open. From the light of the moon, Leon immediately realized the vacant space beside him on the bed. After months of successfully saving the dear daughter of the president, Leon Kennedy became undone despite the years of conditioned training. "Merry Christmas, Joel," you chirped, bringing him a cup of steaming cocoa in bed. The only mug that was clean belonged to your oldest, Sarah. A pink care bear mug. It wasn't quite fitting of Joel's personality, but he was a girl dad through and through and it wouldn't be the first or last time he drank from a pink mug, had his nails painted, or wore a princess bandage when he had a cut from work.

The dishwasher hummed in the distance, allowing for mugs in the morning, and you snuggled against Joel while the wind swirled outside. Though you lived in Texas, you both agreed it would be good to visit Joel's brother Tommy and his family in Jackson, plus the snow would make for a nice change this Christmas.

The kids were all fast asleep by now, dreaming of Santa arriving through the chimney. You knew the girls would be waking you up in the early morning, but right now all you wanted was some alone time with your husband. As the clock flipped to midnight, you slithered out of Joel's arms, over to the closet, and pulled out a large gift box with a sparkly red bow wrapped around it.

“I know we open gifts in the morning, but I want to give this to you when it's just us, and it's officially Christmas according to the clock,” you set the package in his lap, stroking his cheek with your thumb.

"Baby, what is it?” Joel raised an eyebrow at you.

“Open it and find out!” You pecked his lips with yours before he pulled the ribbon to unravel it. Removing the lid, he unfolded a red leather jacket.

“Whoa. Baby, this is way too much,” he whispered, looking at you with guilt-laden eyes.

“It's not, I promise. I saw it at an outlet and I think you're going to look really sexy in it,” you kissed him, tracing your hand from his chest down to his lower belly. “Try it on?”

Joel stood from the bed, pulling the leather jacket over his arms. “Fuck, baby, you look so good,” you cooed.

“Really?” He asked with uncertainty, twisting his arms and feeling the material bend under his muscles.

“Really. You need to wear it to Christmas dinner tomorrow,” you licked your lips. He smiled at you before leaning down to where you sat on the bed in order to kiss you.

“Thank you,” he smiled softly.

“You're welcome. Now take it off,” you demanded,  and began pulling the jacket off his arms.

“You don't want me to wear it anymore?” Joel pouted at you, a look of confusion and hurt painting his features.

“Baby…” you giggled. “I don't mean it like that. You look so sexy in this jacket, I want you to wear it all the time. But right now I need you to take it off. I want this jacket off,” you kissed him. “And this shirt,” you clawed at his skin. “And these pants,” you bit his lip, pulling his checkered pajama pants down. “And then I want you to peel off those boxers and give me my Christmas present right here in this bed,” you stroked him through his boxers.

Joel hissed at the contact, wrapping his fingers around the hair on the back of your head and tugging before kissing you back with a bite to your lips.

“Come ‘ere, baby. Lemme show you how much I love you,” he pulled your panties off before leaning his body over yours, rolling into the bed with you.

The two of you made love, slow and sensual, filled with gentle praises and kisses before you both came together. Snuggled in each other's arms, you wanted nothing more than to lay there with him, skin to skin. But quickly you jumped up and dressed before dozing off, knowing that the morning would result in excited children jumping on the bed to open presents. 

After dressing, you fell back into his arms. He pulled you into his chest, your clothed back against his bare chest, your panties pushed back against his soft flannel pajamas. a/n: Anon, your brain is huge for this one. I actually had to watch some scenes of Lonesome Dove for some dialogue. It's funny that you could still hear Bret's accent every time he says his lines.

Bret will never forget how wide Shawn’s eyes got when Owen accidentally spilled the beans about Bret’s new acting gig, followed by his offended gasp over how Bret didn’t have any plans to tell him about it anytime soon. Shawn always had a knack for blowing things out of proportion, and through constant banter and reminders about memorizing lines, Bret started to worry about his role. That's precisely why he wanted Shawn to have no knowledge of it. But now, here he was, with Shawn on his lap, training him on how to get rid of his accent.

Shawn pinched Bret’s cheeks, lightly pulling the corners of his lips, “You’re supposed to be in a Western show, right? You don’t sound very Western to me.” Bret snorted, wrapping his arms around Shawn’s waist. The crackle of the fireplace filled the room, along with the muffled low volume of the television that played other cowboy movies that Shawn insisted Bret watch.

Shawn’s thumb rubbed on the scruff on Bret’s jaw and fixed the cowboy hat he placed on his boyfriend’s head earlier, “At least you look the part.”

Bret chuckled, adjusting the hat with a playful tilt. “Well, I reckon I'm working on it. The accent's the tricky part, you know.” Shawn buried his head in Bret’s neck and hummed, “C’mon, try that one line again,” he said, playing with the strands of Bret’s damp hair. The wrestler coughed, clearing his throat.

“Cole the one do nothing nobody tells 'em to.”

The blonde could feel the other man inwardly cringe, and he couldn’t help but giggle. “It wasn’t that bad.”

“I don’t know what I just said.”

In all honesty, Bret didn’t even know how he got this stint in the first place. Shawn was even more excited than the wrestler himself once he got over his silent treatment, which only lasted a few hours before Shawn folded and tried to wring out every detail he could get from Bret. Bret found it endearing how the Bonafede actor took it so seriously. To Shawn’s delight, he found out about how Bret was supposed to be a cowboy for his first WWF in-ring debut (‘We’re basically halfway there!’ Shawn enthused, ‘Ain’t Alberta basically Texas for Canada?’)

Bret felt a warmth spreading through him as he listened to Shawn's playful laughter. The blonde pulled back and grabbed the script from Bret’s hands, crumpled from his grip. “Say it again, but this time more rugged rancher and less constipated.”

Bret did it again and it was followed by silence. Their eyes met, and Bret waited for a verdict. Shawn fixed his cowboy hat, “You’re lucky you’re cute.” The older man rolled his eyes and swatted the blonde on the hip, which earned him an even louder laugh.

Shawn flipped through the script, eyes scanning each line before he finally settled on a page. “Maybe we can practice on another scene,” he started, shifting his weight on Bret’s lap. As if a switch was flicked, Shawn’s head hung loosely on his shoulders, voice drawled in a heavy Texan accent as he curled his finger underneath Bret’s chin. "Well, maybe I'll just lock you up, and then you won't have a choice."

“You’d hardly want to do that, would you?” The two stared at each other, and Bret’s lips, soft and inviting, met Shawn’s in a sweet, unhurried kiss. Shawn welcomed it without hesitation.

Begrudgingly, Shawn pulled back and smirked, “That wasn’t part of the script.”

“Couldn’t resist.”

With a gentle smile, Shawn cupped Bret's face in his hands, his thumbs tracing the lines of Bret's cheekbones. “You’re doing great, though, Bret. Really.” Shawn reassured; sincerity laced in his words. The dark-haired man gave a smile of his own. “Good enough to be the next Clint Eastwood?”

Normally, Alex would be annoyed that sunlight across his face pulls him out of sleep before his alarm goes off. Normally, he’d hide his head under a pillow or tuck his face even deeper into the crook of Henry’s neck to block out the bright rays.

Today, Alex lets himself be drawn out of sleep with the dawn. Today he stretches out with his eyes closed and basks in the gentle warmth of the sun through the windows before tucking Henry more firmly into his side. Today, there are no alarms, no jobs to hurry to, no events to be seen at. Today, (and the rest of the week, what a fucking miracle) there is only Alex and Henry and the wide open skies of Texas.

A quizzical sound comes from Henry, muffled by Alex’s chest, and he’s just so fucking content that he drops a kiss to Henry’s temple and blinks his eyes open; watches the clouds change color as the sun rises through the trio of skylights above their bed. The house is quiet around them, no sirens or shouting from the streets of Brooklyn, no clacking of nails on the floors – David presumably still tired out from all the exciting new places to explore and smell yesterday.

Alex’s mind is quiet for once and it shouldn’t be marvel but it is – just getting off the plane in Austin yesterday had his shoulders relaxing, his jaw unclenching, his energy calming (although that might also have been to do with the way the Texas sun caught Henry’s hair like a halo). Just like every time they’ve come back to visit his home state, Alex had had to catch his breath at the sight of Henry’s eyes reflecting the bright blue of a Texas sky.

He still can’t quite believe that this place – a refurbished farmhouse on a mid-size piece of land, close enough to Austin for convenience, far enough from the city to feel like it’s all alone – is theirs. His and Henry’s. A place all their own that they can retreat to at need. For all the strange and wonderful things that have happened to Alex since his mom first ran for President, the fact that he and Henry own two properties is definitely the weirdest.

Alex knows they won’t use this place as often as either of them wants for a few years yet. Right now, it’s an investment, a promise to their future selves: one day, when our lives slow down and the bustle of New York is more of a grind than an opportunity, we’ll come here, and just be.

I love how passionate Alex is here about wanting to try and win in his home state. He really wanted this win so bad he wrote up a whole memo about it and nagged everyone to work on it.

I love that that ends up being the decider in the election. Alex worked so hard for it, he deserved a win ❤️

Here, Henry and Alex are meeting after a while and they can't stop giggling while undressing each other. This moment is so authentic and close to heart for me because this is how you are supposed to act when you see your partner after a while. You can tell how much Henry and Alex missed each other and how happy they are to be together again.

I want to mention Nicholas and Taylor here as well, how well they did in this scene, their smiles, their giggles look so genuine 😍

I love this one sooo 😩😍 here they are just hanging out with each other and learning little things about each other, Alex is so curious and Henry is absolutely himself and not his usual guarded self. It's such a cute moment in their relationship. The way Henry says yes swooniest is a word and then they stare at each other until they smile like idiots 🥺😩

Alex was exhausted here, both physically and emotionally and was trying so hard to understand Henry and his point but he couldn't figure out why they couldn't at least try. I just want to give him a hug and pet him and tell him everything will be alright 🤧

In the museum after starting the song, Alex smiles like the sunshine and puts Henry's hands on his neck. And even though Henry was in a somber mood he still smiles softly. Then he completely gives in to the mood, and dances with Alex. I love how Alex can pick up Henry's mood, he knows exactly what Henry needs.

OK this whole museum scene is just beautiful and I love it but that would be a whole nother post.

Henry just crumbles on the stairs let's out this sigh, Alex holds him tightly and Henry rests his head on Alex's shoulder... it's all too perfect 🤧😩❤️ and it was a genius idea to shoot this from top, their heads make a yin and yang ☯️
