yea! exactly. he would be a mess. coping with being essentially 1/4 of a person when the other parts of who you where are all right there, going through that with you is one thing. but having to go through it a second time? this time all alone? oh man.

at least hes got zelda, sure, but she has no idea how to even begin to help him through this. its not a problem anyones ever had before. this is a uniquely green problem.

growing from being 1/4 of a person into his own self, with the others by his side, only to have that ripped away. he may still be a whole person now, but theres an emptiness that cant be described. he watched the other parts of his old self grow into their own people beside him, still technically parts of a whole picture, and while the person is complete, the picture no longer is.

its an ach that cant be described. and id bet hed try to sooth it by trying to mimic what he thinks the others would do in his place. research until he passes out like vio, work until he cant think about it or lash out like blue, bake his feelings away or curl up and cry like red. all the while never truly getting to the heart of his feelings, to really work through them.

hes switching rapidly between incomplete and incompatible coping mechanisms and no one knows what to do for him, least of all himself.

maybe eventually he finds something that helps. maybe he spirals until he ends up joining them. maybe he lands somewhere in the middle. just, floating by, never really knowing who he is anymore, just numb enough to keep going, but never truly feeling whole or happy again.

So, what happened to the crowns once the Bishops died?

For real, I have tried looking for other people talking about it, but found none, and it drives me a little bit nuts.

The Red Crown now belongs to the Lamb after defeating the previous owner (also, just how did The One Who Waits share it? He clearly still had his godhood up until the Lamb usurped him. So just how?*)

But what happened to the other crowns? I can sorta see them getting stuck in limbo with the Bishops, but once the Bishops was freed, what happened then? Did they disappear? Dissolve? Went to the realm that ??? really doesn't want us to peek into?

There are enough indicators in lore, from Haru and the bishops themselves, that the crowns are what grant godhood, and that they have changed wielders thorough the ages. But getting defeated by another crownbearer can't have been a rare occasion. It makes sense that the Lamb could not claim a second one, neither as a vessel or a god. But what happened then?

A possibility is that the crowns are actually more a manifestation of godly energy. A sort of, concretion of divinity?

Given the existence of relics, it appears that very bodies of the wielders of crowns do contain some divine energy that remains after death. So if the crown itself dissolves after the wielder dies (unless claimed) it could be that the energy is spread into the surroundings, for a time, until enough godly power has pooled, so that a new crown can appear, to be claimed by the first being either close enough, or perhaps, with the best affinity for the specific domain the crown represents?

Mayhap, sometime in the future, four new crowns will appear?

*Ok, so I just had to add an additional thought- because a vessel is, as far as I traditionally understand it, a being being imbued with godly energy and favor, or actually a body carrying the immortal soul/energy of a god. But if the crown is what makes you a god in the cotl universe, how could Toww actually give the lamb the power, while still remaining a god himself? Or did he simply contain so much divine power from being stuck in his godly realm that it made no real difference?

Oh and is the ability to take away the godly energy from the bishops and turn them into semi-normal mortals due to the red crown controlling death? Is it actually a form of resurrection? Or is severing the mortal and the divine something that can always happen when killing a crownbearer?

I see someone mentioned my take on Fa Jin from the Ground Zero AU (it was actually my beta reader's idea) but didn't mention my other idea for reworking Fa Jin which you might find interesting, having it absorb impacts/incoming force and releasing it again as shockwaves, kind of like AFO's Impact Recoil

Okay glad I'm not the only one who feels like Fa Jin is just OfA 2 Electric Boogaloo.

Honestly though I am /tempted/ to say 'fuck it it's my AU/rewrite and I get to change shit' and either alter or completely change those two out. I think Gearshift on its own has more potential, we just haven't seen said potential because Izuku's only had it for like five minutes. Fa Jin.... yeah it's just a little too similar to the OfA stockpile effect in the first place.

If I replace it I might do something to give Izuku more defense instead of punching power, and roll anything he did with Fa Jin into just the original OfA Stockpiler.
