Babysitting in the Devildom

Chapter Six: Beel- Dinner Indifference

"Beel n-"

Solomon had to cast a teleportation spell before he could even finish his sentence. Beel's wings fluttered furiously as he burst through a portal and into Solomons arms instead. He immediatly clamped down on Solomons shoulder and started to chew. Solomon sighed as he watched his cloak get drooled on, big violet eyes watching him back as more of the cloth disappeared into his mouth.

Solomon paused. Should he take Beel to you? You seemed to know what you were doing but you also already had Asmo and portioning out food for the rest of the kids...Beel would be in the presence of food either way. He glanced back down and the chipmunk-cheeked Beel and considered trying to take the cloak out of his mouth. Buuuuut if Beel cried again it was his fault, again...but he really shouldnt be eating fabric...not that it would ruin his appetite but-

He was running out of time to make a decision as the delivery person made their way back to the door. Beel seemed content eating his cloak for now. Beel would be fine, right? Yeah- its Beel. Solomon tightened his grip just slightly on the baby as he approached the front door again, ready to take the bags.

He should have taken Beel to you.

It was like fighting Taz from Looney Toons as Solomon stumbled about, half eaten cloak and a blur of movement around him as he used small portals to keep the bag of food away from Beel.

Barbatos had walked into the kitchen with Luke, wondering if he could help somehow. You had taken Luke from him and used one hand while also sometimes directing him on how to help you while Asmo followed behind him to make sure each plate "looked pretty". Everything was going really well....until the other bag of food appeared suddenly in your free hand and you heard a demonic screech come from the hallway and a loud buzzing noise which was curiously silenced soon after, though Asmo had given you wide berth after hearing that. You sighed and asked Barb to continue portioning things and to go tell the rest of the kids that if they had to go to the bathroom, the time was now. You held Luke close to you as you ventured just outside the kitchen doors and nearly bumped into Solomon.

".....I can expl-"

"Why is Beel eating your clothes?"

You didnt really want to laugh for fear of waking Luke up, but a wide silly smile bloomed on your face as you watched Beel use both his tiny fists to stuff more of Solomons cloak into his mouth, wide eyes staring at you as he cooed a bit and continued to stuff his face, Solomons cloak almost gone.

Solomon had a combination of exasperation and amusement on his face. "Uh...well I didnt want him to cry or attack the food- o-or you so I.....I fed him my cloak."

"....wHY? Earlier you were summoning food for him- you could have done that again right- or multiplied the food we already have even if he ate the bags worth of food-"

You were still smiling, the whole situation a little ridiculous as Beel finished Solomons cloak and started to sniffle, pouting and making grabby hands to the air for more.

Solomon paused before a goofy smile spread across his face as he summoned a popsicle to give to Beel. "I. Dont. Know." He laughed a bit before smiling fondly at you. "This is why you're the one in charge." He started to walk past you into the kitchen, but not before a quick kiss was planted on your temple and a small smirk at your expression was given to you. You gave yourself a moment before joining him and Barb, and a slightly startled looking Asmo.

".....can I have a posicle before dinner too?"

Asmo looked up at Solomon, pleading who just shrugged. "Thats not up to me." He looked at you and smirked a bit. *Motherfucker*

Asmo gasped and skipped his way to you, big, pleading amber eyes as he batted his eyelashes. "May I have a posicle before dinner too please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?"

It was too much. From the way he asked politely, to the way he said popsicle, to his little pose and big ole eyes-

You looked around the table of happy faces as all the kids destroyed popsicles that Solomon had summoned for them, all save for Beel, Barb, Diavolo, and Lucifer untouched food in front of them.

"POPSICLES FOR DINNNNNERRRRR!"

"They said we still have to eat our food if we want to have dessert tomorrow."

"But I'm not hungry anymore..."

"....I guess I can try to eat some food but Im full from the popsicle..."

"LOOKIT IM PUTTING MY FRIES IN MY ICE CREAM! But I aint havin the green stuff, thats yucky."

"You're yucky Mammon."

"HEY-"

"My father would NEVER let me do this!! Thank you MC!!!!"

A chorus of thank yous came from all of the kids, luckily before another fight. You sighed softly and forced a small smile as you said "youre welcome". You figured they wouldnt eat their food if they had popsicles. The bigger kids had eaten their food, and Beel had no problem eating his portion and Belphies who....oh. Belphie was sleeping in his mashed potatoes. You glanced around the table again, noting all the sticky faces and hands and...bodies in Satan and Luke's case. Solomon looked exhausted as he summoned another piece of food for Beel. Asmo was trying so hard to eat some more of his food but only ate a few more bites and looked a little upset. Mammon had eaten his fries, at least.

".....if youre full, give your food to Beel. Dont make yourself eat anymore, its ok. I just need to talk to Sol for a minute, ok?" You smiled as you walked to take Belphie out of his highchair and gestured to Solomon to put Beel in. He was a little confused but did so as you wiped some of the potatoes off Belphies face.

Levi spoke up very quietly. "Can we still have dessert tomorrow if we didnt finish our food for dinner?" The sound of plates being pushed towards Beel paused as the kids all looked at you, waiting for an answer.

".....it depends on how well you eat your breakfast tomorrow.." you smiled as the kids thanked you again as you asked Barb and Lucifer to make sure Beel didnt eat the actual plates as you took Solomon and Belphie into the kitchen.

"How are you feeling...you look exhausted.." geniune concern on your face once you had Solomon basically alone. His face twisted slightly and he sighed. "I had hoped the rejuevenating spell I casted would re-energize me more than it did...why? Are you worried?~" he smirked slightly, though it fell just short of smug. You rolled your eyes a bit and ruffled is hair, your turn to smirk as his face turned light pink and started to protest, pouting when you stopped, though you werent sure if it was because you stopped or because you ruffled his hair in the first place. You stopped his protesting by asking your next question, also avoiding answering his question. "Do you have enough energy to clean all of them or am I going to bathe them in an actual bath..."

"....I? It should be we..."

"Well if you're tired you should rest...I'll need your help tomorrow too..."

"I can sleep after the baths..."

"But if we're doing the baths then I need you to cast one last spell to keep the water in the tubs..."

"So I'll sleep after that spell...maybe..."

You gave him a withering look before sighing, though appreciative of his stubborness....for once. You smiled a bit.

"Alright then. Bath time. Especially for the babies. The bigger ones can probably just shower.... Belphie, Luke and Satan need baths the most. Beel made sure his food ended up *in* his mouth....the others..." you chuckled as you peeked back into the dining room, seeing only Barbatos' face clean, and Lucifer and Asmo both fussing over the little mess they had on themselves, Lucifer using Asmos mirror, and Asmo following Lucifers every action to get clean. You brought your attention back to the sleeping Belphie in your arms.

"....do you think he'll stay asleep for bath time?"

"Its Belphie. He could sleep through anything."

"Dont jinx it." You sighed softly and looked out at the kids again, some playing tag, others just watching. Satan continued to mash his food onto the platter in front of him, Luke giggling and copying in glee. Solomon tapped your shoulder to get your attention again.

"Are you ok? The bags under ypur eyes could hold all my potions-"

"Shut up- maybe if a certain sorceror had been more careful I wouldnt be as tired....not to mention the popsicle before dinner was a bad mov-" you were interrupted by Barb lightly tapping your arm.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I was just wondering if you want me to wash the dishes or just leave them in water in the sink....or if you have a dishwasher..." you were a little surprised when you turned and saw him carrying all the dishes from the table, and Lucifer behind him with garbage. Simeon was wiping down the table with a cloth, but gave the younger ones in high chairs some room. Diavolo was trying to talk to Lucifer, who just kinda kept nodding and saying "oh thats cool" before looking at you almost desperately. His look brought you back to your senses as you nodded at Barb.

"Just in the sink with water is fine, thank you Barbatos. Thank you for cleaning up Lucifer, Simeon. It makes a huge difference to me."

Barb and Simeon beamed, and Lucifer managed a small smile before shooting Diavolo a dirty look, but the other boy didnt notice, too busy rambling on about how this was so much better than home for the upteenth time. Ypu ruffled Lucifers hair as he walked by, and noted Diavolo's slight stumble in words as he eyed you a bit, but rushed past to go talk to Barb, glancing back at you, almost pleading, though your attention was divided again as you felt Levi hug you and snuggle into your side wordlessly. You patted his head softly and turned back to Solomon.

"I'll answer that question later. For now lets clean up. Then bath time."

Levi squeezed you a bit and beamed. "I love bath time!! I can do it myself! I promise, I can! I can!"

Though Levi couldnt see it, Mammon was mocking him from behind. You gave him a bit of a "look" before the hem of your shirt was being tugged at and you were met with those same amber eyes that had persuaded you into giving everyone treats for dinner. "I love bath time too! Me too! But you have to watch me. I make great bubble hair dos! A-and guess what? In the water, it might look like I have legs, but really Im a mermaid!"

"And Im a sea dragon!!" Levi cried out, still wanting your attention. "And Asmo, you're not really a mermaid-"

"Am too!"

"Are no-"

"Everyone can be who or whatever they want to be, in the water or otherwise. Fooooor example, I'm actually a sheep, see I go baaaaa" you smiled softly, and winked at Levi before turning to Asmo again who was practically dancing at your side, bursting to ask you a question. "Whats the prettiest animal you like mc?!!!"

"....whats your favourite sea animal mc?"

"Whats the coolest animal mc! No wait- whats your favourite animal?!"

"Yeah, whats your favourite animal?!"

"Oi, I asked em first!"

"Guys its ok, you can all be my or your favourite animal. Theres more than one of each." You chuckled, listing off animals as more questions were asked, meowing at Satan as you handed Belphie to Sol and took him out of his chair, who happily meowed back as you lead your noisy little zoo to the communal bathroom.

au where the apocalypse was never a threat or a concept to begin with

*cracks knuckles* now i could make this a decent upbringing au OR i could make it EXTREMELY COMPLICATED and you know me you know exactly what im about to do ;)

reginald THINKS he’s prepping them all for the apocalypse but reginald is a child-abusing FOOL and an alien BASTARD and there’s no apocalypse there never was there never will be. the world is safe and sound but the hargreeves children aren’t.

five runs away from home and gets thrown into april 1st, 2019. the world is thriving. he did it. he tries to get home but he can’t because he’s stuck and im now realizing that everyone reading this post has seen a million fics with this exact concept but FUCK YOU THIS IS MY CITY NOWWW

so he’s stuck in 2019 and he’s like ah fuck ah SHIT what now! and goes to the academy and it’s not like he was super far away from it in the first place. he didn’t even make it a mile away it’s like a 5 minute walk back home lmao

now because reggie thinks there IS an apocalypse he still killed himself and i hate him a lot so cough ahem anyway

five shows up on the mansion and expects dad to be sitting there in his office, doing his evil dad evil villain thing yk the drill

but instead he comes in to an empty house. mom is unresponsive. he cant find pogo (dont ask where pogo is. hes doing monkey butler things ok). and diego is climbing in through the window

five freaks out because WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU THIS IS MY HOUSE and jumps diego and diego goes down HARD because WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT MY DEAD BROTHER?? MY BROTHER WHO DISAPPEARED 17 YEARS AGO?? WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCKKKK

so they try to beat the shit out of each other for a second and by that i mean five tries to beat the shit out of diego whos gained his senses by now and is trying to convince his brother (his BROTHER) that technically he lives here too please stop punching me

luther comes downstairs.

“IS THAT FIVE???”

“SHUT UP AND HELP ME THIS LITTLE FUCKER CAN PUNCH”

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”

they manage to calm him down when five catches sight of diegos tattoo

WAIT I FORGOT THAT THE FUNERAL WAS BEFORE APRIL FUCK NEVERMIND SCRAP THE PAST 13 BULLETS ABORT MISSION

so five lands in april, goes to the house, and by then the hargreeves have cleared out and are back to doing their own thing more or less. he comes up to the door and grace (pogo has fixed her by now because i said so) welcomes her son back home like he never even left

she gives him a hug

reginald is gone and she hasnt seen her sun in years and dammit, he deserves that hug okay? she gives him a hug.

five pulls away. mom hasnt hugged him for years because he stopped letting her and he’s not about to change his mind now

“where’s everyone?” he asks. he doesn’t even consider that everybody is gone, because where would they go? or maybe it just hasn’t hit him exactly which time he jumped into, maybe he still hasn’t made the connection exactly what age his siblings are now, maybe he has but he still hopes he can deny it for a little while longer

grace wants to hug him again but she refrains. she calls his siblings

one by one, in the span of the next week, she gets ahold of them and calls them back to the academy. “important news,” she says. “you’ll want to -- you’ll need to be here,” she says. “your brother,” she says, and her children listen and come back home

luther is at the academy when five gets here. because, where would he go? he can’t go back to the moon, and dad is gone, and he’s never even been on a bus alone before, where would he go?

when five sees him for the first time he almost cries, because he’s so much bigger and taller and older and what happened to him??

this is his new reality. this is the new luther

but it isn’t, it can’t be, because five is going to get back home and he’s going to fix it, he’s going to fix this and he’s going to grow up just like his siblings did, and it won’t even be long before he’s back home almost two decades ago.

vanya is next to arrive, and five almost -- almost -- smiles at her and gives her a hug and teases her how she’s still shorter than him, but she has such a blank expression on her face and the way she looks between the portrait of him (he hated that portrait from the beginning, he wanted to burn it because hes back now, isnt he? and he’ll go back home and not leave again, but pogo didnt let him) stops him. it will only be a couple of days and he’ll be going home already, he tells grace, so maybe the others dont even have to come here. she nods and smiles and says nothing

diego comes a day or so later, dragging klaus along, and five is stunned by how they look once again. diego looks battle-hardened and angry like he never did just last week, five’s last week, but now he scowls and doesn’t stutter and dresses himself in black and he lives alone and diego looks so lonely but five doesnt think about it because its not his business and he knows better and its diegos own damn fault for cutting contact, isnt it? and even if it weren’t five will go back and fix it all

five knows klaus has been doing things for a good year or so know, but this -- living on the streets, giggling even as diego forces him inside, making lewd jokes with his eyes out of focus -- he couldn’t have even imagined. he stamps down the feeling of i should have been there to help stop him and doesn’t think how sad and angry at their father seeing klaus like this makes him feel, instead he forces thoughts of it’s his own fault he ended up this way and i’m going to get back and fix this (but that’s not a thought he has to force. he will. he has to. it won’t even be another week before he figures out how to get home)

allison gets there next. she took the first plane she could get on to get home and pushed off all her appointments but she had a family emergency just last week and it was hard to get away and she looks so sad even when she opens her arms for a hug and five cant help but relent and give her one. diego scoffs and allison lets loose a dig thats more of a barb thats more of a sharp sentence splitting the air and hitting her brother square in the chest. five doesnt say anything but his stomach twists. just a week or so and he’ll fix it because even as children they never said things like that to each other

he waits for ben to come last. he must be the most adjusted of them all, right? ben read a lot last five saw of him, and hes one of the smartest of them, and secretly five always thought that ben deserves to have friends that he doesnt live with

ben doesnt come

he asks mom and she smiles and he asks the others and they look away and he asks again and someone -- and it doesnt matter who because his ears are ringing and hes stumbling back and falling onto the couch -- says that ben died. ben died years ago.

ben died four years after five left

fives head is spinning and he needs to get back, he needs to stop it he needs to fix it he needs to make it all better because it was never supposed to be this way

(you thought this would be a happy au didnt you?? haha bitch think again)

klaus laughs and elbows the air next to him and five asks, he doesnt beg, he asks him if he can summon ben

everyone scoffs. rolls their eyes. klaus is high as a kite and hes holding a bottle of whiskey and he looks like he hasnt been sober in days. weeks. years. and he’s a liar and ben is gone for real, im sorry, five. i know this must be hard for you

that can’t be right. five wasnt there for all of klaus’ lies and stealing and drunken sobbing. five remembers klaus rolling a joint at the breakfast table like it was last week -- and it was, it was, he’ll fix it still, but to five klaus is still just his brother. just klaus

he asks, not begs, five doesnt beg but he comes damn close in this moment, to tell him the truth

and klaus looks around and ben whispers please, klaus, just try and five is looking at him with wet eyes and he’s thirteen he’s so young and -- he can’t say innocent. none of them have ever been innocent, not since reginald hargreeves adopted them all those years ago. but five...

he tells the truth. and five believes him

so anyway five cant get back and then they decide well ok five while youre staying here we might as well buy you some clothes. ones that arent literally 20 years old. jesus these uniforms are ugly

i made like four pieces of concept art for a stranger things/star wars AU so as promised here’s the actual notes behind them (+ like a small stoncy sketch at the end)

whats the plan?

Originally, it was gonna be a fanfic(might still be) but im considering a comic format? but moreso in the style of Homestuck/MSPA bc im shit at keeping up w a background

so if i did that itd probably be a side blog

but i have like

so many projects on backburners and idk enough abt star wars to even pull it off

i watched uhhhhhh 1,3,4,5,6,7, and 9, solo, and the mandalorian

so like what the hell is the plot anyway?

when it was going to be in a fanfiction format, i was going to make it revolve around Robin(naturally, she’s my favorite character) and Steve(who is my second favorite) so it revolves around them, but i might change that

anyway

Missions start flooding a local bounty hunter guild concerning reports of kids being taken from planets by a group of people nicknamed “Scoopers” to be pitted against one another in an underground fight club. The mission to uncover the operation falls on the head of the guild, Hopper(who’s a washed-up Mandalorian bc i said so). Robin, a rookie bounty hunter, catches wind of the operation and persuades Hopper to take her with him on the mission.

Meanwhile, Steve(a spice runner) is on his way to his next client, who just so happen to be the “Scoopers”.

they all meet at the base and things happen. cant spoil jic this is something i end up pursuing

ngl fam i got shit for robin haha shes just the everyman trope for the story

probably an orphan in this story? but def not a Mandalorian of any sort

her suit is a combo of Samus’ light suit and Valkyrie’s costume from Ragnarok. (and in a way, metal sonic and mega man bc im trash)

she really wants a T4-M33 navigator droid

you’re just in luck bc *slaps the roof of this post* this baby can fit so many steve notes in it

on his homeplanet(its probably named Hawkins), he underwent knight training along w Nancy and Jonathan.

(you might notice some similarities between his outfit and the ones Mike and the other kids wear in the previous post)

Steve and Nancy were very much together, and they were the top knights in the program. Both were up for the position of the prince’s personal knight. The identity of the prince, until coronation, was unknown to the public, and so when Jonathan selected Nancy for his personal knight, Steve skipped town, and eventually, skipped planet altogether.

but he didnt plan ahead, almost got his ass handed to him by some ex-hutts, and scrambled back to Hawkins. Joyce, who i think would be accurate to describe as the Queen Matron of Hawkins, gave him a chance to work at least as a top officer.

during his return to Hawkins, Nancy gave him a pretty cold shoulder, only adding to Steve’s sense of displacement.

he was given the task of hunting down some spice runners who’d stolen a bounty from one of their quarries, and fueled by resentment, he joined them instead.

on one of his spice runs, he came across a rather wealthy Wookie family. he noticed, however, their son was rather sheltered, and took a keen interest in the business Steve had come into

it took him exactly three weeks for him to realize the kid had snuck onto his ship. the disappearing rations didnt occur to him until the packs were near empty.

he decided to take him with him on his spice run when the kid expressed extreme turmoil at home with his magnate family. but Steve sees himself more as the babysitter friend than the mom friend, having made a silent vow to return the kid(which was promised to himself after one adventure, which turned into five, and now they’re up to fifty. It’s been a couple years.)

so now he just does spice runs w dustin bc every story needs a lone star and a barf— i mean a han solo and chewie

god will anyone ever think of the children

no bc the teens are more interesting in s2-3 imo

except eleven, she’s always great

but since u asked

Mike, Will, Lucas, and Max are all going through knight training on Hawkins. Lumax is a thing, and Byler is starting to be.

i dont get caught up in those ships too much and just try to go w whats canon since they’re kids for the most part

the whole plot kicks off w Mike and Will getting kidnapped(well, mostly Will and Mike just so happens to be there so he’s taken too)

and Lucas and Max go after them.

At the underground fight club they’re taken to, Mike befriends the top fighter who’s named Eleven because she’s the 11th force user they’ve managed to find. and eleven is,, dare i say,, unusually strong in the force

Nancy can use the force, Jonathan and Mike can’t. Will is force sensitive.

i guess i should mention if its not already obvious but Lucas is a Rodian and Max is a Twi-lek

ok yeah thats cool but what about billy

nothing about billy. or kali. for now

but they do exist in this au.

I’d be lying if I said I did not want to go to Steve's party but somehow I let Barb and Nancy convince me to go. I was sitting in my mirror finishing my hair when I heard a knock on my door.

“Here we go Sara, it's just one party, what's the worst that could happen?”

I sighed, I stood up walking over to my mirror adjusting my leather jacket along with my denim skirt poofing my hair up some more. I slipped on my velvet black boots then walked out my bedroom.

“Alright mom how do i look?”

She looked up from the book she was reading and smiled at me.

“Oh Sara baby you look so good who are you trying to impress?”

I smiled at her shrugging.

“Oh no one, I just want to look good.”

“Well Sara you could wear sleep shorts and a tank top and you’d look good.”

I smiled at her messing with my curly black chestnut brown hair.

“So you think I'm overdressed?”

She quickly shook her head at me putting her book down.

“No honey that's not what i'm saying you just look like you're trying to impress someone that's all.”

I nodded walking out the door.

“Alright mom i'll see you later.”

“Okay honey just please don't have too much fun. I've lost will I can't lose you too.”

I nodded then shut the door then I walked to Barb's car.

“Holy shit look at byers you look bitchin’.”

I let out a loud laugh looking at myself then at her while Nancy got in the back seat.

“Bitchin’ is that a new word to your vocabulary barb?”

She smiled at me nodding,

“Definitely especially if you start dressing like this more i mean come on who are you dressing for girl?”

I scoffed looking at her. Why does everyone keep thinking I'm dressing up for someone? Cause I'm definitely not.

“No one barb I just wanted to look nice.”

“Nancy you're oddly silent for someone who drug us along with you.”

She shrugged then looked at us both.

“I'm just thinking about things with Steve and I.”

When she mentioned Steve my stomach twisted in a knot and I had no idea why.

“What do you mean nanc?”

Barb looked over at me smiling widely.

I nodded while that strange feeling came back, I stayed silent the rest of the car ride which luckily wasn't long.

Barb stopped us before we even got to the door.

“You guys, I have a bad feeling about this.”

I stopped walking, I turned towards barb and nancy.

“I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way, let's get out of here.”

Nancy grabbed both of our arms pulling us towards her.

“Wait guys no please just stay I don't wanna be here alone please just stay for me.”

I frowned looking at barb then back at Nancy the loud music entering my ears.

“I don't know Nancy, I mean Barb’s right maybe we all should just go home.”

“Oh come on Sara, I know it took alot for you to convince your mom to let you come out with everything going on plus it being a school night.”

I looked at Nancy then at barb, barb shook her head at me practically pleading me with her eyes to side with her.

I sighed looking at barbara.

“Im sorry barb but she has a point i didn't go through all this trouble just to not show up.”

She nodded then looked at her shoes.

“I know Sara, it's just I don't want them making fun of us like they use too.”

I smiled softly at her wrapping my arm around her.

“Hey no ones going to make fun of us, if they do I’ll beat them up just for you.”

She laughed at me, we all three made our way towards the front door. Nancy knocked, it only took someone a few minutes to open the door, my stomach did a cartwheel when I saw Steve's face.

Then carol along with tommy popped up from behind him, my face stiffened then steve and i made eye contact. He looked me up and down smiling.

“Hey.”

I smiled, sending him a friendly wave.

“Hi.”

Steve opened the door letting us in when he shut the door he led us to the back where the pool was, I turned to look at all of them.

“I didn't know you had a pool. If I did, I would have brought my bathing suit.”

Steve flashed me a smile which made me weak in the knees. I quickly shook the thought out of my head. He's Nancy's guy, she's a friend of mine and I was taught that friends don't do that to one another.”

Steve's eyes lingered on me for a moment when Carol got our attention.

“So steve here swears your sara byers, tommy and i disagree i mean there's no way you could have gone from not to hot.”

I smiled at her double handed compliment while I grabbed a beer from steve.

“So is it true?”

I took a long swig of the beer then I looked at Tommy then Carol then to Steve.

“To answer the hot topic, yes, yes I am Sara Byers.”

I saw Carol's eyes widen a bit while Tommy’s mouth hung open.”

“Holy shit you'd think they saw a ghost.”

Barb said while she nurtured her beer I smirked at her comment quickly taking another drink of my beer. About three beers later I was starting to let loose. Steve had been up Nancy's ass all night not that I cared it was just annoying.

“Harrington, where's your bathroom, I have to pee.”

He stood up walking over to me.

“Come on i'll show you.”

I stood up and followed him inside his house. When we got inside I saw Nancy talking to barb. I turned towards Steve to see him halfway up the stairs. I quickly followed him, my boots making noise letting him know I was behind him.

“You know sara you look great tonight.”

I looked up at him for more than just a second for the first time tonight.

“Thanks but you’re with Nancy and I can't do that to her.”

He nodded at me, showed me to the bathroom.

When I was about halfway into the bathroom I heard him call my name, when I turned around his lips were on mine. I quickly pushed him out of the bathroom shutting the door in his face.

“Oh my god Sara are you fucking stupid thats your freinds guy and you just kissed him.” I sighed, running my hand down my face.

I thought to myself running my hand over my face, After I used the bathroom I washed my hands, I kept replaying what just happened in my head. I was beyond aggravated. I kicked his sink then recollected myself opening the bathroom door going back outside.

For some reason I looked in Carol’s direction and she was smirking right at me, my stomach dropped, I knew I was in deep shit.

As the night went on Carol was silent, I knew what she was planning. The little bitch was going to tell Nancy what she thought she saw. Me kissing Steve not Steve kissing me.

The night went on like it would have. I was trashed barb had somehow cut her hand, I went inside to get stuff to clean it then boom she was gone, at this point I was over it.

Nancy left me, now barb just up and left me which meant I had to fucking walk home. So here I was walking home at midnight dressed like some Led Zeppelin groupie.

When I saw barb in a few hours she was dead. When I finally got home everyone was asleep but I knew I was going to hear it from my mother in the morning and if not her then definitely Johnathan.

After I got inside my house without being too loud I went straight to my room grabbing some clothes then heading to shower. The shower felt great the hot water washing away the sweat, thoughts and alcohol in my system.

After I got out I brushed my hair climbing in bed with my pjs quickly falling asleep. That night I dreamt of Steve harrington.

THINGS KEEP GETTING SO, SO MUCH WORSE

(i have... a LOT im trying to process about this whole section sorry for upcoming text walls. really nasty #blood / #gore in here as well though) (i didnt realize i was This far behind on liveblogs lmao i drafted this. a while ago and didnt get back to it until now)

so it turns out “the scalled” are... some kind of leper colony banned from the town and left to fester and rot out here alone

most of them are just lying around suffering and dying, i dont know what the fuck happened to them, there’s some mention of like. wildly untreated syphilis/potentially other stds they’re being told is their curse for the sins they’ve committed but does.... syphilis do that to you. it might actually be leprosy i dont know i dont want to research this. all i can think about is when i watched jesus christ superstar in high school and the leper colony song where they’re all crowding around jesus all trying to touch him REALLY freaked me out for a while

i mean its like. probably a combination of disease left horrifically untreated and massively infected given the absolutely appalling conditions these people are living in (everything’s run down and full of blood and shit and who knows what else), starvation, who knows what they’re even finding to eat out here so that’s probably causing even more disease but still jesus christ

at first it just made me really sad, sure these people came from temple gate too so they were. fucked up cultists to begin with but a lot of this is like... result of longterm emotional and mental abuse and manipulation, some of these people might not have started out as depraved evil murderers, and like. nobody deserves to live like this. except knoth lmao throw him down here, but

so i thought maybe it would turn out that you realize they’re human too, they’re just in a fucking LOT of pain and maybe you can’t do anything to help them (i dont think there’s any hope for anyone down here at this point) but maybe they’d turn out to be on my side and do something to help me fight back against the leader who abandoned them, “the most absolutely fucked up looking people are actually the most human” kind of thing but uh. that is not how things went. at all,

ill get into How Fucking Bad this got in a second lmao but like

most of them dont really do anything to you other than bleed on you and beg you for help, some people lash out but thats like, understandable given the horrifying state they’re in, but

as it turns out, being the “scalled messiah” is a VERY bad thing, they went from occasionally lashing out at me to outright tracking me down to murder me to death which, like, honestly kind of disappointing

bc one of the things i liked the most about the first outlast was how many of the prisoners were clearly just victims too, some of them (lookin at you, naked twin guys,) were just evil and murderous but some of them were just very very mentally unwell (exacerbated by horrible living conditions and the fact that the people who were supposed to be protecting them and helping them recover were actively, intentionally working to make their symptoms worse) and couldn’t really be blamed for acting violently toward you, but

then sometimes there’s people who warn you about dangers ahead, people sitting in corners hiding and scared and wont hurt you unless you give them a reason to think you might be a threat, people just trying to stay alive, people who need help

but that’s. not the case here, and there’s definitely a particular kind of horror in “absolutely no one in this hell town can be trusted, nobody will help me, everyone here wants to hurt me and every time i think ive made any kind of progress it gets so much worse” (except that ONe guy who tried to protect me. im still sad about him) but. i dont know i feel like there’s a missed opportunity here. im not sure if im supposed to feel like the scalled deserve to be like this because of the kind of people they were before, but i dont. i feel like the “what the fucking shit HAPPENED to these people” horror is heightened by the realization that they’re people, and just kinda using them as attack zombies is. missing something, somehow. i dont know, i cant figure out how to word what i want to say here

i mean its absolutely fucking horrifying, i was scared out of my mind going through all this, and i still gotta give props to a video game experience that left me legitimately feeling like i needed to go take a shower and crawl under a blanket for a while

i guess ultimately with outlast im coming here to be scared shitless more than anything else and boy did they ever fucking deliver

this whole time i kept thinking something would happen and they’d get interrupted, I’d escape somehow, they aren’t really going to have the player character get literally fucking crucified from your own perspective,

but then the nails go in

and you’ve got one hand literally nailed to a cross

and then they start the other one

and i was like, WOW FUCK, THEY ACTUALLY DID IT, BUT NOW HE’LL ESCAPE... SOMEHOW.... RIGHT ???

and you’re hanging there

and for a second i legitimately thought it was gonna end there for him, i thought he was actually just going to die there and the game would continue with lynn or something (which, to be fair, would be a pretty cool twist, but i dont WANT blake to just die here like this)

but against all odds HE SOMEHOW DIDNT FUCKING DIE, and managed to find the strength to rIP HIS HANDS OUT OF THE NAILS AND FALL DOWN

i still dont think its just a manifestation of trauma, because like. the recordings are still coming out as fucked up static, if he was just having really intense hallucinations there wouldn’t be any record on the camera, it would just be him filming nothing and talking to himself through a panic attack, it wouldn’t be getting consistently corrupted ONLY during the flashbacks so what the fuck is happening

Negan Imagine ~ Sleigh Ride

Summary: Negan takes the reader on a trip outside the Sanctuary that ends better than she thought

This is my entry for @ne-gans lisas5kxmaschallenge and my prompt was “sledding”! I had a lot of fun with this, and I really hope you all will enjoy this too!

“Hey, don’t fall asleep on me”, a deep voice rumbled through to you as the truck vibrated softly beneath you, keeping your eyes from falling shut, even though the tiredness that was stuck in your bones kept putting more weight on your lids. You could feel Negan nudging you slightly with his prepared can of coffee, his signature grin growing all over his lips as soon as your eyes glanced at him, then to the can,”Need you here with me.” You let out a drowsy grunt, stretching your entangled limbs that had kept you in an embryo-like position in the passenger seat beside Negan. With another small huff you grabbed the can, turned its lid just enough to open it and eventually allow the hot and wakening coffee to run down your throat, filling you for a short moment with the feeling that it could actually work. “Why did we have to move out so early, Negan?”, you mumbled as you put the can back to the other things he had prepared for your little trip in the early morning hours away from the Sanctuary and through the winter wonderland the world had turned into over night. When he had stood before your door just more than an hour ago, with his arms full of supplies, the sky had still been pitch black, giving you the feeling that nearly no time had passed since you had fallen into bed after work. If it was up to you, you could have just cuddled up with him on the bed, waited until at least the sun was up and then get going but this wasn’t Negan’s plan. His plan was laying behind your seats in the truck and it was nothing else than a damn sleigh. The thing probably hadn’t seen the daylight since the world had gone to shit but that would most certainly change in near future, judging from the excited glance in his eyes as they ran over the new fallen but still thick layer of snow that laid over the woods. You still had to figure out why exactly the big bad wolf wanted to go out of all things sledding with you, but you had your few guesses even though your still tired mind didn’t allow you to widen them too much. “Baby, we had to get going ‘cause your man’s still got shit to do ‘round home, and ‘cause we go now, we got an assload of time just for us”, he explained, glancing over to you as one of his large hands gripped the steering wheel tighter, while the other one reached towards your leg, squeezing your thigh with a larger growing grin as soon as he caught the shiver his touch elicited within you. “Besides, that’s what my mom did with me when I was a damn kid, had to go to work till late evening so she got me up at the asscrack of dawn so we could still go sledding before all the other kids had fucked up the hill with their dumbass sleds”, he said, a soft smile mixing into the grin, his eyes wandering over the road in front of him and the sky that slowly grew lighter as he served you the answer to your question why he wanted to go sledding on a sliver plate. You smiled slightly to yourself, allowing your glance to wander over his face and catch the way the nostalgia was flooding his veins and grasping his handsome features. For a short moment you drifted off into memories as well, caught by what had been and what still could be if the dead hadn’t begun to walk the earth. “Dreaming?”, Negan asked after a short silence with a soft chuckle, his fingers tracing along your knee as you shook your head slightly. “Nah...just got caught up by nostalgia”, you mumbled, before you pushed the thoughts out of your head as you glanced through the truck, grinning as other thoughts quickly replaced them “Oh and wondering you didn’t hang up some mistletoes in here too.” “Fuck...should’ve thought about that”, he said with a throaty chuckle, pushing the steering wheel with a groan before he shook his head slightly, grinning wider as he glanced over at you. “Ya know what I just realized?”, he asked, dragging his tongue over his lower lip with relish ,”I’ve never fucked on a sled, we could change that.” “Mhmm sure”, you chuckled, irony swinging through your voice ,”You couldn’t even get me under a mistletoe yet so-” “Yet”, he retorted quickly, raising his hand from your leg to point his finger demonstratively into the air,”Still got some time” “Good luck with that”, you chuckled, feeling his hand squeezing your thigh once more as he laid it back down your leg before he nodded towards the supplies in the foot room before your seat. “Now eat your croissant, need you to be all strong and full.” “Sure, Mom.” “Eat or I fill ya up with something else”, he chuckled, trying to sound firm even though the tease sounded fully through his deep voice as shook your head with a laugh and eventually reached towards the supplies and crammed out the food. You had just stuffed the last piece of the chocolate croissant into your mouth as a deep gasp left his lips and his hand shot up to point into the white landscape before you. “There we are!”

“Gotta go by foot, just a couple minutes”, Negan said minutes later while he held his now in leather gloved hand up as he stood in front of your opened truck door. The cold was already biting into your skin as you shifted towards your seat’s edge, even though there was no way you could deny how beautiful the snow looked with the morning sun shining down on it, enlightening it like a sea of sparkling diamonds. With a quick movement you got the gloves over your hands Negan had brought with him this morning as well, before smiling down to him as you slid your hand into his large one, feeling his warmth even through the layers. The snow scrunched beneath your shoes as you hopped down from the warm truck into the iciness of the woods, landing right in front of Negan who grinned widely down at you. “Ready?” “Do I have another choice?”, you teased, eliciting a throaty chuckle to rumble through his body, shaking his firm chest beneath the leather jacket and the red scarf. “Anyway, you wanna take Lucille? I take that heavy ass sled”, he said, nodding towards his beloved bat that leaned against the truck’s side, along with the sled that would have to get carried through the forest’s undergrowth. Nodding you leaned towards her, sliding your fingers around the wood where Negan’s usually rested before swinging her up until the spikes of the barbed wire dug softly into your coat as she leaned onto your shoulder. “Suits you”, Negan mumbled with a grin, his glance wandering from his bat to your face as you gripped his bat a little tighter, trying to keep it balanced. “Alright, then lets go.” “Just some more steps and we’re there!”, Negan called enthusiastically out, pulling his long limbs up to climb over the snow-covered roots and bushes while trying his best to keep the sleigh securely in his arms and pressed against his side. You hummed in response as you glanced forward, looking at the snowy trees that were slowly becoming a little less dense until you finally arrived at Negan’s long announced destination that spread out in all its beauty right in front of you. Your eyes ran over the landscape, over a hill that was going in a soft curve downwards until it ran softly out, forming into a field that was surrounded by a slim and only dabbling river, enlightened by the stronger growing sun beams. Negan had a big mouth for sure but differently to other men who were all bark and no bite, you couldn’t deny that he actually lived up to his announcements, no matter how big they were. And the proof for that was unfurling right in front of you in these very moments. “Now would you look at that!”, he called out, stomping a little closer out of the woods as he let the sleigh fall next to him into the fluffy snow. “Now I know it’s not as fuckin’ pretty as you, Baby but...ya don’t regret coming out with me now that you see this fucking beauty, huh?”, he throatily chuckled as he caught the way your eyes lighted up by the picture in front of you. You let out a soft snort, feeling your cheeks flushing more than they already were from the cold and the tingling in your stomach increasing with each more second those hazel eyes of his ran over your flushed face. “How did you find it?”, you mumbled, shaking the speechlessness about him a little off. “On a run ‘round here. Come here when shit’s too much back home...ya know, once in a while”, he shrugged softly, looking into the distance before glancing back at you, “Thought you’d like it too.” “I do”, you mumbled, taken aback by the sudden softness that filled his eyes before you got distracted by the large grin that began to form again on his lips. “Well, now that makes me one happy fucker”, he said as he winked at you before nodding towards the landscape, “So we’re gonna get started or what?” The cord of the sleigh felt rough in your gloved hands and the wood was pressing against your legs as you found yourself sitting on its front, waiting for Negan to place Lucille securely against a tree and get ready to sit down as well. “Gonna get cozy on there”, you could hear him chuckle from somewhere behind you, the slurfing steps he made through the snow coming closer with each moment until he plopped down onto it behind you. Within seconds his warmth was pressing against your back, his arms sneaking around you to hold you tight while his warm breath began to brush over your neck and the bit skin that was uncovered. “Okay, I got ya”, he lowly grumbled, the sound in his deep voice letting your stomach dip more than you liked to admit. For a short moment you could feel him leaning a little more in, nuzzling his nose past your scarf and into your skin before he in and exhaled slightly, allowing his hot breath to spread more goosebumps over your body and put you for a moment into a state of trance. “Changed your mind about my little offer from before? I’m still ready to cross fucking on this thing off my list”, he chuckled, tightening his arms around you a little more as you could already feel how you threatened to melt right there in his arms. “Nah, let’s get down there”, you mumbled with the last bit of determination that was stuck in you, feeling how a low laugh let his chest rumble against your back. “Alright”, he amusedly chuckled, the tone in his voice giving away that he exactly knew what he was doing to you. Carefully, you eventually moved towards the slope, both of you trying to keep your legs under control as you shuffled through the snow before you stood shortly before the threshold. “Get those legs hooked in, Baby. I’ll do the rest. Hold on tight”, he chuckled, pressing his body closer against yours as you did as he said and stemmed your feet onto the sled’s runners and felt Negan beginning to push. “Here we - GO”, with that he pushed you over the threshold, allowing the sled to dive down the slope while a rush of adrenaline flooded your veins, mixing with the heat Negan’s touch brought into your whole body. “Oh fuck, oh fuck!”, you called half laughing, half yelling out as you could feel the sled picking pace up while your voice mixed with the booming laughter of Negan behind you. Your fingers grasped the cord tightly as you pressed your back into Negan’s chest and his tight embrace while the hill rushed past you, faster and faster with each moment, simultaneously with your louder becoming laughs and shrieks. “Ah shit”, you called out as you felt it moving even faster beneath you, the cold air hitting your face and brushing along your body right until you got to the flatter becoming field and Negan stretched his legs out to stop the both of you from rushing further. “Gotcha”, he panted with a low laugh as the sleigh finally came to a stop and your bodies shook a little forward in response to the halting movement. Adrenaline was still rushing through you as you sunk a little back, feeling how Negan embraced you tighter and let his head lean against yours until his lips brushed against your ear. “Shit, if you scream like that in bed too-”, he chuckled, stopping as you nudged him with your elbow, although only softly and barely palpable as you were still too caught up in the cloud the adrenaline had pushed you in. Nevertheless more blood rushed into your cheeks, reddening them even more as his words reechoed through your head. “Now this isn’t just a blush from the cold, huh?”, you heard Negan lowly and with a tease filled tone mumble as his glove hand reached up, grasped your chin gently and tilted it until you had to look straight into his eyes. For a moment you lacked of words, your whole attention caught up in those hazel eyes that had more power over you than you’d like to own up to. “Looks like my idea wasn't so bad after all, huh? At least when I gotta judge from that speechlessness right there”, he chuckled, biting his lips slightly as you finally got yourself out of this bubble he was beginning to put you in. “Never said it was bad, just the time of the day”, you softly chuckled, seeing how he raised his brows and gave you another toothy grin. His fingers were still grasping your chin just like his other arm was still wrapped tightly around you, and the mixture of his scent and the warmth that was radiating from him elicited the urge in you to melt into his embrace and just give all of yourself to him. You were balancing on a thin rope, just like all the nights he snuck into your room and your bed, wrapping those strong arms around your body as he huddled his tall and broad frame up to you. And no matter if you stayed like this until dawn or began to talk and laugh through the night, with each more time he came in you knew the wall that kept you from letting him fully in was becoming thinner and the fantasies and longings about him stronger. “We should get that sled up again”, you caught yourself mumbling in an act of your last defense, catching how Negan shook his head with a grin, as if he could read your mind before he licked quickly over his lip and nodded up the hill. “Alrighty, Sweetheart, lets get that fucker up.” Your clothes were clinging to your body as you made your way for about the sixth time up the hill, panting softly as the layers of wetted fabric and the snow didn’t make the path any easier. Sledding really was a shit ton of fun, especially with Negan by your side, but you would gladly pass on the way up. “If you would’ve eaten all of the food I got ya, you’d have enough fuckin power to get up here lickity-split”, Negan chuckled as he dragged the sled next to you up the hill, grinning as he caught your red flushed face. “Nah by that amount, i would’ve thrown up for sure”, you teased back, hearing how a throaty chuckle left his lips as he stemmed himself further up the hill. Just as your glance strayed from him and looked at the snowy ground, your foot settled down for the next step but instead of hitting earth beneath the snow, something icy and slippery welcomed you instead. A gasp left your lips as soon as you felt yourself slipping away, your hands whirling around you to find something to grasp before gravity could give you the rest. “Negan!”, you choked out, your fingers grasping his arm in a last attempt to save yourself from falling right as a pair of widened hazel eyes caught yours and a large hand reached out to catch your arm. “I got yo- fuck”, he called out as you could feel him losing control of his body as well, stumbling backwards as both of you kept trying to find your balance back but instead lost even more of it. With a groan and a loud curse that slipped out of your lips, your back hit the snowy ground that cushioned the blow a little as you felt Negan falling atop of you, his arms still trying to grasp you as you rolled only a short bit further down until you met the flatter becoming field again. “Shit, you okay?”, you heard him pant as soon as you laid still, your back pressing into the snow while his body was shifting on top of you, your eyes catching his in the split of a second. “Yeah, you?”, you grumbled, breathing deeply out as his eyes were still running worriedly over your face before the absence of any more pain let his glance soften a little. “All fuckin’ fine”, he mumbled, giving you a slight nod before he glanced up and squeezed his eyes a little, catching something in the distance. “Fuckin’ sled”, he grumbled as you tilted your head a bit, glancing to your side as you caught the sleigh that had come a good bit away from you finally to a stop. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to-”, you mumbled, sighing quietly as you shifted a little, feeling how your clothes began to become more covered in snow that slowly melted in response to your body’s warmth. “Really?”, Negan chuckled teasingly instead, grinning widely at you as he glanced down at your joined bodies and entangled limbs, raising his brows suggestively as soon as his glance met yours again. “Oh my”, you groaned, shoving his chest that rumbled beneath the snow covered leather jacket. “You got snow fuckin’ everywhere, you know that?”, he softly chuckled as his gloved hand reached up and stroked along your face and hair, brushing the snow flakes out of it while your eyes stayed fixed on him. He had some of the flakes in his dark hair and the salt and pepper beard himself, both of them glistening a little from the ones that had already molten. The sun and the light’s reflection from the snow let his roaming eyes gleam up even more, enlightening the brown in his hazel eyes like a pot of honey and the green like a deep and vivid forest. God, you were getting lost in them again but the more you glanced at the man hovering above you, the more you had to realize that every defense was long gone, everything else was just pretense. You were falling for him, hard, and there was no way anymore for you to deny it. And right now, you didn’t even want to anymore. Not with his intoxicating scent surrounding you, not with his body pressed up against yours, not with his fingers caressing along your face, not with those eyes wandering over you, not with his hot breath brushing over your skin. Your head felt like spinning and your emotions and senses were slowly beginning to run wild as you could feel him leaning closer down, his glance testing as if he wanted to check for a last time if you were alright with his next move until you finally felt his lips brushing over yours. Still careful and if half of him still expected you to change your mind and pull back, but instead you reached up and leaned into his kiss, your gloved fingers entangling in his dark and wetted hair. A deep but soft groan of his vibrated against your lips as he sunk into you, deepening your kiss as the sound and his taste allowed a heat to pool in your body that let you forget the iciness around you. You hummed into his kiss, clinging to his body as you could feel the tension that had built up between you finally being set free. Even though his movements were skilled, his lips moved over yours as if he had been starved, almost uncontrolled and if he was getting as lost in you as you were getting lost in him. You were only letting go of each other as soon as your bodies longed too much for oxygen, forcing your lips to part even though you remained close to one another, forehead pressing against forehead. Your eyes stayed closed until your lips formed into a smile, beginning to realize what had just happened before your lids fluttered slowly open, a spark of curiosity enflaming within you to see Negan’s reaction. “Damn...”, you finally heard him quietly mumble after your eyes caught his and a trance like silence had passed as you saw them running over your face as he still held you tightly to himself. “Fuck, you had me fuckin’ speechless for moment there, Baby...touché”, he mumbled with a soft grin on his lips, leaning in to give your lips another peck before he grumbled with a low chuckle against your lips. “But look, Sweetheart. I didn’t even need a fucking mistletoe, just some slippery shit” “And fuck, there he is again!”, you laughed, shoving his chest slightly before leaning up to kiss him softly once more, longing to feel those lips on yours again and feel his beard stubble tickling your skin. Just as your lips parted, the cold around you let a shiver run through your body, hard enough for Negan to notice as he backed slightly away to glance down at you. “Shit, you’re freezing, huh?”, he grumbled, shifting slightly before the worried glance turned into the roguish one you were used to, simultaneously with the large grin that formed back on his lips and allowed his dimples to shine through the salt and pepper beard. “Ya know what? Let’s get that sled and head back to the truck, I got loads of ideas how to get ya warm again”, he said, his tongue running over his lower lip with relish as he winked teasingly at you. “Sure you do”, you chuckled before your laugh got stuck in your throats as his lips crashed on yours and brought the heat back into your trembling body.

And so you melted right there into his kiss and his embrace once again, forgetting the icy coldness and thick snow around you until you made your way back to the truck, arm in arm, with kiss swollen lips and bodies filled up to the rim with happiness and the longing for more.

That Night pt.2 of Meeting Mr. Wrong

“It all started on a dark and cold night, November 7th to be exact.” I said very quietly almost regretting doing this. Dean was such a good listener, his eyes looked at me with such compassion as i told the whole story.

“Lets do something crazy tonight guys!... unless some of you are gonna be little wusses” Steve was looking at us 3 girls, Nancy Wheeler, Barbra Holland... and me. He was of course mostly referring to Barb since she looked the most nerdy out of our bunch, he thought we would be at least a little bit easier to loosen up and i mean that in a dirty way too.

Billy Hardgrove was there along with Tommy H and Carol. They of course were there to get lucky and wasted while my 3 friends and i were just trying to up our popularity status. “Hey here’s a clever idea, why don’t we play a little game to help these newbies ‘loosen up’ Billy said with a wink to me and his famous smirk. “That may be the only smart thing you’ve said all day Steve” joked. The others laughed and agreed while the rest of were nervous at first but warmed up to the idea while Barb was always against this ‘loosening up’ game.

“Alright, fuck it, how do you play the damn game” i couldn’t believe i said that, i guess that was just all that naughty that’s been shunned away from my good girl act. “Oooo this pretty little girl has a naughty side?” Billy said this in a shocked but intrigued way. “C’mon Billy just tell us how to play the damn game” Nancy saw how i was learning to just go with it so she followed along. “ Okay book worm don’t get aggressive” Billy said this with less interest and more annoyance of Nancy. “Okay so newbies have to prove themselves to us by doing some dares that are given to you by yours truly” he winked and let out a puff while gesturing to his friends. Steve interrupted fast “So i’ll start with miss wheeler, i da...” Billy cut him off with anger in his eyes. “But my good friend forgot to mention the best part!, if you guys cant complete the dare then you have to strip one item each time” he seemed proud of his lustful command.

After several halfly and fully covered dares, there laid 4 girls in either just a bra and panty or maybe they still had a sweater or jeans on. I was one of the girls in just a bra and panty but i never felt so alive and bad but i loved it not to mention i was far past drunk. I knew that barb felt uncomfortable the whole time and so did the whole group so they went easy on her and she just had to take off her coat. “Ok so this one is for Liv over there.” Billy said grabbing my hand while I lounged on the chair carelessly with my drunken and half covered gorgeous bod. His eyes lingered and he couldn’t hide his blushing and lustful eyes. This drove me crazy cause he was so handsome and sexy but i didn’t want to get to far, i just wasn’t ready for anything that big. I stood up very unsteady and barb saw that, she came over and told me that we should all go and that she would drive. “I think we all had enough fun why don’t we start heading home, you don’t look to well Liv.” “I’m fine i don’t need you to be a mom right now, why don’t you go you never fit in anyways, and don’t say that i don’t ‘look good’ for all i know your probably just jealous.” I knew right after i said it that i screwed up but it was too late. “ You know what, im done trying to be a good friend, i will go home and good luck trying to get home like that, maybe one of your new ‘friends’ can sober up before driving.” she left in tears running towards the woods. “Whoa whats up her ass!” Billy laughed and began kissing my neck but i just stood there in shock and a dazed confusion.

Later that night Billy and i had made our way to Steve’s couch while tommy and carol took a spare bedroom and Steve led Nancy to his room. I had a feeling of what was going to happen but i was not in my right mind to fully stop it. He leaned in and starting kissing me slow then it suddenly turned harsh and passionate, i could feel his hands making there way up my thigh and i let out a small gasp. “Hey im not sure i wanna take this that far“ i mumbled against his lips but he ignored me and just kept going further up. I heard a faint scream and broke the kiss. “Did you hear that?” “Hear what doll, the only thing i wanna be hearing is you moaning my name.” he smirked then slowly went in again and then bit my bottom lip slowly. Little did i know that it was barb coming back to drive us home since she was actually a good friend who cared for us regardless and not just someone who was only trying to get in my pants. “ Billy i dont know about this” “Oh cmon your just shy but ill be gentle and then all youll feel will be pure bliss” he then lowered me on my back and made his way down by kissing me in every spot that sent chills to my body so i let go and just went with it.

The next day Barb wasnt at school and nanc and i just thought that she was just mad at us but as a week went by we were beyond worried untill 2 days ago when we heard about her on the news, thats when our worried hearts turned into broken grieving hearts. The only good thing was that news report landed on a saturday and i could be a wreck the whole weekend and process things before heading back to school. Thats when things got crazy and people started suspecting her best friends and the sad truth was that i knew something others didnt, this slight piece of evidence could make everybody i care about turn on me.

“And thats how it all went down Dean, I know i sound absolutely terrible but i want justice for barb.” He was looking at me with wide eyes and a dreamy gaze but i couldnt quite make out what he was thinking. “Wow olivia im shocked but so happy you told me, everything will get better from here on out” he gave me a reassuring smile and leaded me back to class and he happened to casually lay his hand on my waist and guide me, then whispered i think you sounded like a strong and beautiful girl for what you had to go through but im also gonna sound like a douche when i say this but im glad you didnt go after your friend cause it might have gotten you too and i wouldnt be able to meet the strong and beautiful girl standing right in front of me.” i blushed like crazy before walking into the class, once again all eyes were on me and Dean noticed so decided to do something about that. He walked in and said, “Every body should know that your classmate Olivia has helped this case tremendously and you all should give her a smile the next time you see her” “ i should be seeing you around miss hopper” he smiled and winked at you in a professional manner but you could tell it was far from that.

A week has past and your uncle hopper went away for a couple of days to solve this case with the winchester brothers, leaving you to watch El. Today she went to go hangout with her bunch while you stayed home and catched up on some vampire diaries. *knock knock* i was shocked to hear a knock on my door, maybe my uncle came back early i thought. I get up from my comfy spot and open the door to a pleasant surprise. “Dean!! how are you? we haven’t spoken in a while and i thought you were supposed to be with my uncle” i was confused yet happy since all my memories had been good with dean and i trusted him on something that meant so much to me. “ Well your uncle asked either me or my brother to check up on you and i happily agreed” he flashed his dazling smile and walked in. I sat on the couch and he sat next to me, for the past few hours we caught up and got to know each other on a whole other level, it was like weve always knew each other and time seemed to fly. I showed him my room and my personal things including some secrets. “ Ive always wanted to tell you this but i think your absolutely gorgeous.” he kept his beautiful blue eyes latched on me and leaned in for a kiss.I went in and soon enough we were naked on my bed over heated and satisfied. “You can spend the night” i said smiling at him with my fingers tracing his bare abs. “Im sure theyve got this covered for tonight” he smiled down at me and kissed my forhead, then we fell asleep in an instant.

The next morning was amazing, waking up to a shirtless sexy Dean was priceless and epecially getting to watch his cute face sleep. He woke up with a smile and said “ Mornin gorgeous, how did you sleep, i know i slept well with you by my side” he pecked my lips “I could say the same” I got up to kiss him more passionalty and put some clothes on in the bathroom but as i was leaving i felt his eyes heavy on my naked body. I shut the door and got dressed but i stayed in the bathroom because i heard my uncle enter my room screaming his head off! Dean was shook and got up fast trying to defend himself while my uncle was saying “I cant belive you!! i practically told you to babysit her for a few hours and i come home to you naked in her bed doing who knows what! time to leave Mr.Wrong, youve helped enough. As i finished getting ready i walked out with shame all over my face and my uncle telling me to go for somebody my own age.

19TH STREET, Manhattan

In mid-September 2008 I embarked on my first Forgotten mission after a brief, but horrendous battle with a stomach flu of some kind that struck on September 11th, of all dates, a couple of hours after a meal of baked chicken and boiled frozen vegetables. (Even now, in mid-October, your webmaster hasn’t returned to frozen corn, beans or peas, but I know I have to eventually for the sake of health; I have been depending on salads for vegetative intake). So, I opted for a relatively brief hike on 19th Street, which I had found interesting some monhs back and filed a mental note to revisit. Not only did I find interesting architectural elements, but also some oblique references to my own life, as we’ll see…

The Joyce Theatre, at 8th Avenue and 19th, is a 472-seat dance performace venue opened in 1982 in the renovated and remodeled Elgin Theatre, opened in 1942, that had come on hard times in the 1970s as a porno palace — the renovation was suprvised by architect Hugh Hardy, whose Radio City Music Hall tour I attended — he revived RCMH as well — as part of Open House NY in 2008.

Your webmaster is not a ballet or modern dance fan, but I note the theatre because it is named for one of the founders of one of my workplaces. The Joyce Theatre exists in great part due to the philanthropic efforts of LuEsther Mertz.

Directly across the Joyce, on 8th Avenue and 19th, was a Blimpie where I would get lunch once a week while employed at an international-language typesetter, ANY Phototype, on West 29th. In June 1990 I acquired one of my worst-ever stomach flus (until this year) at that Blimpie. Look, it made me remember the place. It was decorated unusually: it was filled with house plants.

I’ve only been in the Peter McManus Cafe, at 7th Avenue and W. 19th, once — in 1993, I had just gotten out of class at the School of Visual Arts, went in and called a friend to meet me there, whence we went to see The Fugitive, the Harrison Ford version. (I had a splitting headache that day.)

McManus looks as if it has been here forever, but it isn’t nearly as old as, say, the Old Town Bar or the granddaddy, McSorley’s Ale House. It has been owned and operated by the McManus family since it opened in 1936.

Looking south on 7th Avenue toward the old Barney’s. Several new residential towers have appeared on this stretch in the last few years (not at the fever pitch of 6th Avenue in the West 20s, though). Dominating the landscape is the new Coke bottle-green-glass-clad Yves Chelsea tower at West 18th. The penthouse will go for $10M, at least it was going to before all the Wall Street hotshots, bankers, and ill-advised real estate buyers tanked the economy.

Speaking of the economy, the last time your webmaster was out of work, all my unemployment check arrangements were handled electronically and there was less of a need to cut up paperwork before throwing it away. Nevertheless there will always be a neeed for scissors and shears, and that’s where Griffon came in. According to faded ad historian Walter Grutchfield, the Griffon Cutlery Works was founded by Albert Silberstein in 1888 and was located here on West 19th between 1920 and 1968. As you can see from the link the ad was in much better shape in 1986, and time is gradually taking a toll.

Note the palimpsest at the bottom. The company changed from “Works” to “Corporation” in the 1940s and painted over Works with Corp. Both are showing up now.

This sign is also an “example” of unnecessary quotation “marks.” They’re all over the place.

Pinking shears, by the way, are shears with jagged edges, used to cut thick cloth.

2008, meet 1908 along the south side of West 19th just east of 7th Avenue.

The Henry Siegel-Frank Cooper Dry Goods store, built in 1895 and in business until 1914, is the largest of the 6th Avenue Ladies’ Mile emporia, containing 15.5 acres of floor space. It used to have a clock tower as well as a large fountain, since removed and placed in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles. A ramp from the old Sixth Avenue El (razed in 1938) allowed passengers to walk directly into the store from the platform on the 18th Street side. This is Beaux Arts at its most Beaux.

The store pioneered the use of free samples, female salespersons, and air conditioning as customer inducements, and one of its mottoes was “Everything Under The Sun.” Industrialist/barbed-wire king John Warne Gates once made a bet with financier J. P. Morgan that the boast was just rhetorical. Gates asked a floorwalker if the store sold elephants, whereupon he was directed to the toy department; Gates responded that he meant a real elephant. The representative asked him what color, Gates responded “white” and the answer was “we’ll let you know the delivery date.” A few weeks later Gates received a telegram informing him his order would be arriving the next day at the docks: an albino elephant shipped from Ceylon. Gates paid Morgan the bet and donated the pachyderm to the Central Park Zoo.

I see something new every time I pass or enter the Siegel-Cooper building. For example, here is one of the intertwined S/C’s that flank the arched entrance.

All 4 corners of West 19th and 6th are held down bu beautiful buildings of varying beauty and fame. On the NW corner (above right) is the Simpson-Crawford Building, constructed in 1900 and home to the titular store until 1915. The store popularized the phrase, “if you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it” and indeed the store eschewed the use of sales tags.

A Greek Revival building on the NE corner (above right) is home to a Sports Authority. Paragon, on Broadway between East 17th and 18th Streets since 1908, is the big sports dog in the area.

At the SW corner (left) we see the first Benjamin Altman Building from 1876-1906, whereupon the store moved to a massive building that filled an entire block between 5th, Madison, East 34th and East 35th Streets, where it was in business for the following 83 years. Altman opened his first store at 3rd Avenue and east 10th Street in 1865.

At a time when real estate has gotten so prohibitively expensive that even big retailers like Barnes and Noble are forced out by high rents (as they were from their 6th Avenue and West 22nd Street location in 2008) it’s comforting to know that Apex Tech is still holding down the corner plot on West 19th. The school offers training in automotive, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding and auto repair since 1961.

Throughout the 1980s, when local channels 5, 9 and 11 were independently owned and showed mostly reruns and movies, the Apex tech commercials featuring the mustachioed Apex Tech Guy were a staple. His catchphrase was “Now, I can’t call you…”

Naturally, he doesn’t utter the famous phrase in this vintage Apex tech spot, but you get the idea…

A couple of midblock views between 5th and 6th Avenues. 35 West 19th, on the right, now home to Sala, a Spanish restaurant, is notable for being the longtime home of The Magickal Childe, ostensibly an occult bookstore but also featuring hexerei of the weird such as voodoo dolls, herbs used in potions, tarot cards and wicca (not witchcraft to devotees) paraphernalia. The Charmed girls would have fit right in.

The Cluett Building at 22-28 West 19th runs right through the block to 19-23 West 18th. The name of the building stirred a memory. Walter Grutchfield: The building was constructed in 1901/02 as the New York headquarters of Cluett, Peabody & Co. of Troy, NY. They were collar manufacturers and created the Arrow brand of detachable shirt collars. According to the Free Dictionary, “About 1905 the company began an advertising campaign that featured an idyllic young man wearing an Arrow shirt with the detached collar… Hundreds of printed advertisements were produced from 1907 to 1930 featuring the Arrow Collar Man. The fictional Arrow collar man became an icon and by 1920 received more than 17 thousand fan letters a day.”

I had to reach deep in the ForgottenArchives for this: Cluett, Peabody was a name I heard frequently in youth; both my grandmother and my mother (who I indicated, at left, in the photo of a company gathering that I’d estimate was from the early 1950s) worked at the Troy, NY company in the 1940s and 1950s.

Free Dictionary again: In the early 1920′s Cluett, Peabody & Co. began manufacturing their shirts with attached collars in response to consumer demand and became the most successful company in the U.S. at that time. Their sales increased to 4 million collars a week and arrow shirts with attached collars were being exported to foreign ports such as Jakarta, Indonesia, Java and the Belgian Congo. The Arrow Collar Man campaign ended in 1930 having been one of the most successful advertising campaigns in history.

My mother, of course, is the most attractive woman in the picture.

The Flatiron Lounge at 37 West 19th takes its name, of course, from the famed Fuller (Flatiron) Building at 5th Avenue, Broadway and 23rd Street.

I’m rarely in Sam Flax but only because I fear that when I’m in here, I’ll spend too much. Flax is second only to Pearl Paint in providing art supplies and everything necessary for putting pen or brush to paper. I hope its locale between 19th and 20th Streets west of 5th Avenue isn’t closing.

LEFT: Idlewild Books, a new travel book store, has become one of my new favorites (especially since the ForgottenBook is displayed prominently within). “Idlewild” was the old name for John F. Kennedy International Airport. Good luck, though, in the shadow of the Barnes and Noble flagship at 5th and East 18th.

At the SE corner of 5th Avenue and West 19th is the Arnold, Constable Building, yet another former department store.

Jim Naureckas, NY Songlines: Nine West, Victoria’s Secret are in former department store (1869-1914) that took up the entire block from 5th to 6th avenues; founded by Aaron Arnold and son-in-law James Constable, it offered “Everything From Cradle to Grave.” Mary Todd Lincoln was a frequent customer, as well as Carnegies, Rockefellers and Morgans.

Another Constable building can be found on Canal Street.

Briton Arthur Arnold opened a dry goods store in 1825 and took on James Constable as a partner in 1842. After the firm thrived for over a century, the last Arnold Constable store, at 5th Avenue and 40th Street, closed in 1975. (The comma, like the New York Times period, has disappeared along the way, so latterday customers thought an Arnold Constable was the original shopkeeper.)

Two narrow 1900-era towers flank West 19th Street at 5th Avenue. The building on the right was the longtime home of Weiss & Mahoney Army & Navy store and the former locale of the 5th Avenue Presbyterian Church (1852-1875). Your webmaster’s first job out of school was in 150 5th Avenue, a block away on 20th.

The American Woolen Building actually is entered on 221-227 Park Avenue South (marked with a ram’s head), while this, at 102-104 East 19th, is the freight entrance.

I’ve always loved the corner apartment building at 81 Irving Place and 123 East 19th — it’s festooned with dozens of terra cotta gnomes. And more gnomes.

For this 14-story apartment house, architect George Pelham, one of New York’s most active apartment-house designers, exploited the requirements of the zoning law to create an exuberant design [in 1929-1930] with dramatic setbacks and a striking rooftop pavilion surrounding the water tower. The building, planned with 107 small apartments, is faced with brick, often laid in intricate patterns to add excitement to the facades. The building is ornamented wth beige terra-cotta detail of a very high quality. Terra-cotta features include columns, balconies, and gargoyles embellished with animal heads, monsters, and other fanciful detail. NYC Architecture

The figure below right seems to be influenced by cartoonist R.F. Outcault’s 1890s creation, the Yellow Kid.

East 19th changes character, rather abruptly, for the block between Irving Place and 3rd Avenue and transforms itself into a tree-lined, suburban-style stretch dotted with small brick buildings, carriage houses and cottages. The tone is set by the ivy-covered NE corner building. Pete’s Tavern is one block south of here at East 18th.

In the early 20th Century the creative community had a great presence on this block, which was home to actresses Theda Bara, Dorothy and Lillian Gish, Ethel Barrymore and Helen Hayes; playwrights, authors and activists F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Reed, Emma Goldman and Eugene O’Neill were visitors.

There’s some riotous terra cotta tilework on the north side of the block; much of it is the work of architect Frederick Sterner and artist Richard Winthrop Chandler.

146 East 19th was home to painter George Bellows from 1910-1925, a man who lived the high life. “I went there in the evening a young girl and came away in the morning an old woman,” as Ethel Barrymore once said. Bellows, along with Edward Hopper, studied under Robert Henri at the NY School of Art and became a luminary in the modernistic Ashcan School. Possibly Bellows’ most famous painting was his depiction of Luis Firpo (“The Wild Bull of the Pampas”) knocking Jack Dempsey through the ropes in the first round in a 1923 fight. Dempsey recovered to KO Firpo in the second round. Artist Eric Joyner does a takeoff on Bellows’ vision in The Final Blow.

At 226 3rd Avenue on the NW corner is a terrific painted sign for the Piccolo restaurant.

The block of East 19th between 3rd and 2nd Avenues is dominated by the rather forbidding Mother Cabrini Medical Center, originally Columbus Hospital. Andy Warhol was treated here when he was shot by Valerie Solanas in 1968.

Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini (1850-1917), the first US Citizen to be canonized as a saint by the Roman Catholic Church, founded the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart and established 67 orphanages throughout the USA , South America and Europe. Since 1931 her preserved remains have been displayed at Mother Cabrini Shrine in Fort Washington in upper Manhattan on a street named in her honor, Cabrini Boulevard.

Some bits of an increasingly retreating Little Old New York in the easternmost segment of East 19th, between 2nd and 1st Avenues.

We’ve already seen an item on 19th Street that reminded me of my mother. Here’s one that reminds me of the old man, who worked at Stuyvesant Town from 1955-1988 as a custodian. The apartment complex was constructed in the 1947 by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company; Peg Leg Pete, the Director-General of New Amsterdam, lived in this site on his farm in the late 1600s. It was championed by Robert Moses as part of his slum-clearance program in mid-century. When first opened, the complex would not rent to African-Americans, and the discrimination was held up in court. “Stuy Town” reversed the policy several years later. For many years, though the project didn’t have the necessary wiring for air conditioning, the waiting list for an apartment was quite long. The list was abolished when Met Life set about converting and upgrading the apartments to market rents beginning in 2006. Your webmaster foolishly never asked to get on “the list”, though Stuy Town would no doubt be trying to get my rent stabilized self out if I lived there now!

The Eleven Little Roosters Episode 1 Summary + Haywood Files 1 -5

A Summary Breakdown from Tats

Note: I will be using the actor names and not character names as much as I can to help alleviate confusion. Also I tend to use the organization names abbreviations a lot. If you are confused, please see the Roosters Page we have here.

WARNING! SPOILERS UNDER CUT!

Man oh man what a great episode this was. It was literally everything I have been waiting for!

So first, to fill in the three blank spots we have Elyse in the Non-Combatant slot as Agent Knuckles of the CAL

Second is Mariel with the AME

Third is Griffon with her lovely husband Geoff in WAH

I literally screamed when I saw these girls! Sad there is no Jeremy though!

And with the episode, right off the bat we see Barbara assassinate Jack the Red by accident as she was hired to do so. And that set things off! (RIP Jack).

So this sets off a meeting where we see every other player in the game by the end of the meeting and everyone is gone. This is their seating chart (which is important for the Haywood Files)

Then, as Barb heads out she runs into Josh / The Colonel and he get’s her to investigate on her own, and gives out Ryan’s information to her and the audience.

Now our own sleuthing begins.

We know there are 5 Haywood Files in each episode that will give us the exact Target and Assassin of the next episode. It is crucial to get all 5 as I have found out to make 100% sure that you have the right targets. I was missing #4 and was bound and bent the SSB being killed by FAP, but with Files #4, that is NOT the case!

Lets get to these files.

Haywood Files #1

This file is one of ht easiest to be found, being the QR code at the end of the episode where Josh hands Barbara Ryan’s flyer and its right there in our face. Easy peasy. It leads us to go find files #2 which is in the SSB Berlin video (The first one)

Haywood Files #2

Now this is were it gets interesting. We know now a large target group is being hit. The SSB boys, the AME, the WAH, or the CIA. (I guess the CAL can be counted as well). SSB and AME being the largest two groups. You can find the code by looking around the 360 for the white t-shirts that have single letters or numbers on them. These are 2 e X P 6 a C. If you put all this together and into a bit.ly link BAM. You get #2.

Haywood Files #3

This was another easy one that jumped out at me. There were random numbers and letters in the subtitles that were bolded so I jolted them down as they appears. By the end of the episode I had acquired 2 e j w y U h. Put these in the bit.ly and BAM! #3. In this we see a pattern to figure out who got the forged file to the next kill, but sadly have no idea where to start from!

Haywood Files #4

This is by far the HARDEST files to get this episode, and I had to get help from the reddit for this. Basically, in the credits there were a lot of codes strewn about as it switched to say The Eleven Little Roosters and this is where it was hidden in. You had to get the corresponding coloured letter/number with a number to indicate what spot it when in I believe. so like, 2 was a colour for example that was followed by 1 of the same, meaning 2 was in the first spot. w was a colour followed by a 3 of the same meaning w was the third spot. Eventually you will get this code 2 e w d L m 9. BAM. File 4. And this file is what makes it AME and SSB as the target. A large group with uneven members. That is only AME with Mariel, Gus and Miles in it.

Haywood Files #5

This was a two-parter basically to find. When Gavin was trying to get reinstated he did an eye test that gave us two codes.

But what code do we use?

Thats where The Big Cock came in! A comment is made about his eyepatch being switched around and if you follow the eyepatch, it corresponds with what side of the eye test to use! Brilliant!

You end up with the code of 2 f d P 2 C Z. BAM! File 5.And this brings us back to the seating chart and the forged file we know is being tossed around from file 3. Pretty sure its the start of the chain since he got up without the file. So if we follow the steps from SSS we end up at FAP.

I received a speeding ticket the other day for going 14 over. This is my second citation in the past year. The previous one being for failure to yield. I CANNOT have this second citation on my record because I can't afford the insurance increase. A friend of mine said he took an online traffic school course and it negated his speeding ticket and kept his insurance rates from increasing. I've found several places to take the online courses for my state, but they don't say whether receiving the certificate of completion will do anything to help remedy my situation. I need to know 1) Reliable online traffic school 2) What to do with the certificate of completion once received (mail to whom? call where?) 3) Does completion of the course guarantee maintained insurance rates. 4) Should I pay the ticket as soon as possible, or wait until after I've completed the course to see if it will negate the fine. He completely trashed the car, it reeked of cigarettes and pot, we found empty beer cans and other cans used to smoke his pot. We took the car away and cleaned it the best we could and after a few months of him still continuing his behavior and habits we sold the car. He bullies his mom and sister (always has) and took his moms keys and her car from her and will not return it. I know we are legally responsible for him until he turns 18 which isn't too much longer BUT he is getting worse with everything, my husband has given up on him and just lets him come and go as he pleases and do what he wants (he claims he will kick him out on his bday but no one believes him b/c of many past threats not followed through and his kids know it so they continue to play him), I'm told to stay out of it because he isn't my son yet he is still on MY insurance and driving his mom's car while drinking and smoking pot and continuing not to follow the law with his restrictions either. I can't wait for this ungrateful punk to be out of my house. He constantly badmouths all of us with lies to everyone and blames us when things don't go his way. He has always been extremely lazy and does not want to work, he keeps forcing his mom to give him money which she does b/c she claims she is afraid of him, he has NEVER helped with anything around the house, he has already been in trouble a few times with the police as young as 12 when he wouldn't follow skateboarding rules. This kid needs a major attitude adjustment and a kick in the *** but no one will do it and I'm not allowed to say anything to him about anything but I'm so sick and tired of having to keep my mouth shut and watch everything he says and does to his family yet I am to provide insurance for this a@%hole.
