Anyone else go feral seeing Din on his knees, with two men struggling to hold him down?
CORRECTION
It was actually 4 men, two holding him down, and two others holding the cables attached to him, cause Din is a big boy.

Hey, you're being lied to about what fitness constitutes. If you can't work in an hour-long crossfit slog, but you can work in a five-minute walk, then that is still fitness. If you can't use your legs but you can do arm circles every now and again, that is still fitness. If you're moving around at work, that's still fitness. It can be intentional or incidental, but here's the best part: your body doesn't care if you're dedicating specific work-out times. It doesn't care if the "only" fitness it gets is your nine to five on your feet. It doesn't care, fitness is fitness is fitness. Some of us do it differently, but the end result is more or less similar.
If you can do any type of fitness safely, your body isn't going to care if you're doing it like an Olympic athlete or if you're just a casual.

wish i knew more about historical alchemy. for owl house reasons but also in general but mostly for deranged owl house reasons. i know it would enlighten me i KNOW IT. it has to be relevant. i mean. the whole glyph system. its alchemy. and all my assumptions on my sun/moon sibling thing repeating tnru history in Toh are rooted in my cursory familiarity with tarot symbology but like i KNOWWWW that [vague & desperate hand gesturing] like alchemy has the whole symbological philosophical justifications for physical properties thing going on, and, i dont know much about the specifics, but its got some of the same like...classical moon sun symbological associations. classical as in drawing on ancient greece. because alchemical science was very much building off of ancient greek natural philosophy. i would bet dana is drawing more on the alchemy thing than tarot i mean seriously she designed a GLYPH SYSTEMMMM..... i KNOW she knows more than me about alchemy ok i GET IT. i need the entire history of alchemy beamed into my brain instantly.

generally i am a huge advocate for shows having more light and i am full of gratitude to every giffer who has let me watch that akkayan kiss all brightened and colored beautifully
...but something about the darkness in that scene hits so different. It's so purposeful, the themes of shame, longing and rebellion that is harbored within that darkness.
Akk is finally letting something come out of himself that he has held back long before Ayan was even in the picture. This kiss is about Ayan and its about more than just Ayan. It's Akk - who's so good at holding himself back, so good at destroying himself for what he's been taught is justice and good morals - deciding that something else comes first.
And maybe Akk needed darkness and maybe he needed Ayan to close the gap, to desire him back first [for real]- but Akk shows none of Ayan's timidity or confusion during the kiss. He's known all along what he desires. He desires Ayan, of course he does, but he desires perhaps even more to be there for him and comfort him - Akk has always wanted to help Ayan and in his own way has done nothing but help him.
The way those first scenes in episode 6 used fire to show how Akk's love and compassion was destroying himself - and at the end its within darkness that those soft parts of him are born anew because often its within darkness that queer love is allowed to nurture and grow

[ID copied from ALT: A digital sketch of my OC Mara, looking offscreen with a frown. She's wearing a dark teal raincoat with light blue accents, a dusty brown shift underneath, with a turtleneck covering her neck beneath that. Her red hair is tied up behind her head, a thin strand braided behind her ear. Her bright blue eye is glowing, and from underneath her turtleneck is a peek of a glowing blue crystal. In her left hand she is supported by a arm support type cane-slash-staff hybrid, a blue crystal at the top of the staff part. End ID]
Mara redesign is going smoothly 👍 She suffers from a crystal-based dystrophy that's slowly replacing her muscles with bright blue gemstone

something shifts in hermione in prisoner of azkaban. the pink-sweater blue-jeans outfit brings out the fire in her and she’s suddenly way more than the brains-only-academic-scholar that everybody has come to know.
and it’s INCREDIBLE.
the fact that she’s been using the time-turner all year to make her classes, the so-deserved malfoy punch, her stepping between sirius and harry (while they still thought he was going to kill harry), the whole process of risking everything while on the rescue-buckbeak mission and throwing rocks to get their attention, luring a werewolf in their direction to get him away from harry and sirius, etc etc etc.
we obviously knew that she was wise and smart and stuff, but the bravery, courage and loyalty that landed her in gryffindor really came out in this movie and it was so refreshing to see.
