“Countess Olga,” she says crisply. “Great aunt. Loved her tea with brandy.”

“Almost,” Daruk says, “Whiskey.”

“This one,” Link says, pointing to a painting beside it. “The Grand Duke of Saint Petersburg, Vladimir Alexandrovich. Wore a feathered hat.”

“I hear he’s gotten very fat,” Daruk says, laughing gruffly and elbowing Link. she looks at the painting, squinting curiously at it. Link watches as something lights up within her eyes, and she turns to look at them with a triumphant grin.

“And I recall his yellow cat!” she says cheerily. Beside Link, Daruk goes very still.

“I don’t think we told her that,” he murmurs.

This is puerly a "what if" question born out of sheer curiosity

You all care and focus so heavily upon Demise and his curse.

Life was far simpler when none knew of him, and I preferred it as such.

Whether I could or could not is immaterial. I would not change anything. The power granted to me by this hatred has achieved much in my lifetimes, and it enabled me to pursuit my goals.

Demise is long gone. Forget him, and move forward.

Apha: Come on, Mortal, pack up, we're taking the kiddos on a trip.

Mortal: What? Where to?

Apha: Taking them to the goddesses' springs.

Mortal: Whyyyy?

Apha: Pretty much the same reason all the Zeldas of history had to visit the springs. But still different?

Mortal: ....?

Apha: We're taking them to pray to my fellow goddesses. Ya know, send a 'hello'? It's been a while since I said 'hi' to them, too, so I wanna say 'hey'. Maybe you can pray, too? I'm sure they'd like to finally hear from ya. Plus, maybe cleansing the kids' bodies in the springs will help them control their powers a bit better. Not a guarantee, but a possibility. Pack a bunch of clothes for the mountains, I'm not gonna have the father of my children freezing to death.

Mortal: It's gonna be useless for me to try to talk you out of this, isn't it?

Apha: Correct! The kids are already excited to talk to what are basically their aunts.

Mortal: This is gonna be a headache and a half....alright, I'll go pack.
