I’ve been procrastinating on reposting old artwork for the sole purpose I’d have to re type all the lore again…BUT I have a bit of energy now so LETS DO THIS ✨

Alpha Lioness, one of my first and oldest yautjaverse ocs. She was an ooman that was adopted by a yautja elder at a very young age (for why and how well never know) being the only ooman on a yautja mothership she was automatically looked down upon, despite being the pup of the alpha. Lioness was never one to cower away, even when she was picked on by the other Yautja pups she always fought back. She always stood back up even when she was over powered. Her “father” took note of this (especially the day she came back with pieces of another pups dreads..) and at that moment she told her father her dream.

“IM GOING TO BECOME A LEADER LIKE YOU!” He saw that she was indeed serious about this, and naming her after Lion the Great (another oc of mine) he thought it was something destined to happen. And he was right to believe so, her final hunting trial to achieve blooded status was a miracle.The sole survivor of her hunting party she was cornered by a xceno queen, the building where the trial took place was collapsing causing the queen to become trapped along side Lioness.

However even a pinned Queen is a deadly foe, her head,arm, and tail were still exposed and lashing at her still eager to seek revenge. Lioness achieved the unthinkable, even her father wasn’t really expecting her to come back alive, but there she was a wounded hunter slowly making her way back dragging the queens tail as proof of her achievement. At that moment her Father witnessed the birth of a legendary Alpha.

Years later already achieving Alpha status she continued to win all her hunts, and all her fights, her spirit was unbreakable. And her clan was expanding. She even settled on a mate and was blessed by paya to even bare a child! Kru’hana daughter of Lioness and Wolf the beautiful hybrid pup who will inherit Lioness’s clan when she earns the right to lead.

Unfortunately Lioness wouldn’t get to see Kru’hana reach that day, for Lioness met her tragic end on the battlefield to protect Yautja prime. A statue of Lioness exists on prime to honor her sacrifice, where her legend rests.

"See, see?" The hyena grinned, nosing against her pet human's warmed cheek and squeezing a part of their naked body, "ah told ya they's a beaut!"

The lioness hummed in agreement, "So they are," her small human flustered under her gentle petting, "but so is mine. I'd be hard-pressed to place my dear as subpar to yours, my friend."

"Ah wasn't sayin' otherwise!" The hyena huffed, squeezing her mate's waist, and grumbled, "Yours' quite an eye candy too--ah just wanna my pet some compliments from you."

"And compliments they received are well earned." The lioness' easy remark perked the hyena up with glee, boring her copper-colored eyes on her friend's beloved pet.

The hyena's human squirmed under the lioness' oddly predatory gaze.

"Although..." the lioness gave her fangedfolk friend a slow look, almost dubious in nature, "I certainly wouldn't mind sharing mine, if you'd do the same with yours every now and then." Her smile slowly curled into a wicked one.

Both humans shot each other a wide-eyed look, confusion palpable alongside embarrassment and horror. Both immediately attempted to cover themselves up.

Intrigued by the idea, the hyena cocked her torn ear at the lioness and admitted, "not gonna lie, ah fantasized about doing one at the same time with you." She licked her chop, drool dripping from her maws, her jade-green eyes flicking over to the lioness' human.

"Then it's a done deal." The lioness clapped her claws and alternated her attention between both humans.

The hyena crackled at her eagerness, "Now!? Fine wit' me! So, who're we doin' first?"

a/n: my hands hurt now lol but uhhh, a few things. the fic between the two sharing their darlings isn't strictly canon as by their natures, they're both super possessive, but it could go either way too. i already saw them both being the type to blend their families so, its possible! this is just for fun and i've wanted to draw my lesbian girls for some time now.

and lastly, i tried my best to keep the darling in the image super vague, including the color of their skin. its the lighting effect that made them look way lighter (or darker), in an attempt to keep it vague.

tragically i couldnt share the girls full beauty with yall because tumblr is an ass about those things. sorry :c someday!

Audiobook narrated by January LaVoy, Grace Experience, and Gabrielle De Cuir. Runtime 10 hours.

The Lioness takes place in 1964 and is the story of a group of wealthy Hollywood types on safari in Tanzania. The safari goes horribly wrong. Who will make it out alive? This action packed thriller will keep you guessing.

Rarely do I give a book a 5 star rating but The Lioness gets one!

There are really no slow parts to this book. Author Chris Bohjalian keeps the reader on their toes.

The story is told from multiple perspectives, but it's not confusing because every chapter begins with the character's name.

I would definitely describe this novel as a psychological thriller. The reader really gets inside the heads of the characters.

Content Warning: There is some foul language and some gore but it is not gratuitous. Real people in desperate situations don't stop to think about censoring their language. As for the gore, I found it enhanced the story and was necessary in a book with vivid descriptions of everything else.

The narration of this novel was excellent. There are three narrators and each one is spot on. I felt transported to Tanzania, both by the author's descriptions, and the superb narration.

plodding through a reaper at the gates and almost every major plot twist besides keenan/nightbringer in this whole series was one i saw coming but the mirra/cook one is one i never ever could have put this one together ever this is mind melting life changing earth shattering
