“Who can add to Christmas? The perfect motive is that God so loved the world. The perfect gift is that He gave His only Son. The only requirement is to believe in Him. The reward of faith is that you shall have everlasting life.”
If you've followed me for any length of time, you know that one of the few things I love more than Oscar Isaac are horses. So, I'd like to share with you some of my favorite pictures.
If anyone one of you wonderful people out there would like to add to this post, please do so. Only two things required: 1) Oscar Isaac 2) an equine(s)
Honestly The Nativity Story (2005) is such a good movie for SO many reasons! It's a solid and beautifully done representation of the birth of Christ. I especially love how they used 1 Kings 19: 11-13 as such an important part of the story! Plus they're able to build Mary and Joseph's relationship without them kissing ONCE. I also really like how they represent the character of Joseph in this!
(And YES perhaps part of that has to do with his actor but THAT'S NOT THE ONLY REASON)
Even though my life and health is literally miserable right now 🥲, at least there’re still some small happy moments in life. I’m glad that I found these babies last weekend. One of the best things happened recently! 🥰🧡💜
Shepherds, livestock, and “rustics” populated the rural areas of Neapolitan nativity scenes that depicted angels announcing the birth of Jesus to the humblest members of society who were looked down on by many people.

I was originally thinking about watching The Nativity Story (2006), the Bible movie about the birth of Jesus Christ spanning from Nazareth to Bethlehem (and starring a young Oscar Isaac as Papa Joseph), this Christmas
but then... I remembered the very first scene of that movie... (the massacre of the innocents)
and knowing what's happening in that same place right now, it just feels like history repeating itself.
