Here's some of my Oni headcanons (+ some stuff about my au and Amaya, the Oni mother of the spinjitzu brothers):
TW: mention of blood
Oni saliva actually works the same way as rubbing alcohol and antibiotics. It can clean wounds and prevent infection. I feel it's this way because if an Oni was injured while fighting, they need to keep the wound clean till it heals or can get fixed up properly (Half Oni saliva isn't as effective, but that never stopped Garmadon till he almost got an infection)
Oni blood is purple and also extremely bitter to the point where you immediately get nauseous if you taste it. Unless you're a dragon or another Oni. Consuming Oni blood gives you the ability to transform, but only the elemental Dragons in my au have done this
Oni can purr, and only do so when alone or with someone they trust. They also have a nesting habit, and will usually do it for sleeping or comfort. Garmadon and Lloyd do this the most, and has their own stash of pillows and blankets so they don't steal someone else's (but they probably did at some point anyway lol)
Oni have high regeneration and healing abilities, able to regenerate full limbs. But oni full blooded Oni can do that, as a part oni can't. Their wounds still heal quite fast though, so it's not a total loss.
The only things that can kill an Oni are another Oni and a Dragon.
An Oni can have either black or white hair, no matter the age or gender. Sometimes there are Oni with light grey or dark grey hair. It is possible for Oni to be born with four arms instead of two.
Amaya (Wu and Garmadon's mother in my au) was the last oni to have a tail. No oni after her was reported to have a tail. Garmadon only has a tail due to the venom
Baby oni are called cubs, but Garmadon and Wu were called man cubs due to being only part oni. Only Amaya ever called the two her cubs though. In my au, Wu and Garmadon are twins, Wu just looks older due to the stress from training students. (Both brothers are around 345 y/o (60-70 in human age)
Male and Female Oni take turns when raising their young, making sure the cubs learn things from BOTH parents, not just one. Oni society do not have gender roles, so it's actually the oldest oni who leads the family, no matter the gender. Female Oni are still very respected, as they give life to their kind. They also lead hunts more often, which gives way for female Oni warriors too (Amaya was one)
Oni are very physically strong, able to easily crush skulls with a single kick or stomp. They only ever use weapons as back up. They also have strong legs, especially for jumping or running as they don't exactly sit and wait when hunting other creatures. An Oni and even half Oni can jump up to 30+ feet
Oni have heightened senses and reflexes. They also have a sixth sense, where they are able to tell how someone is feeling without even looking at them. It's basically like sensing an aura. Oni also use this to tell if danger is nearby. This sixth sense ties into their good parenting.
Despite being creatures of destruction, Oni can be gentle, especially if one of their own is hurt. Oni are loyal to their families, and very rarely do betrayals happen, only ever due to miscommunication.
Half Oni live up to 600 years, while full-blooded oni can live for thousands of years.
Amaya and Mystake are close like sisters, and have been friends ever since they were cubs.
Oni are very flexible and are even double jointed. This comes in handy when hunting, along with their strength of course. They also have very strong claws and teeth.
Oni can lower or raise their body heat based on the temperature of the outside environment
half Oni are more easy to kill than full-blooded oni, as they aren't as capable of regenerating whole parts of their body and they can die of complete blood loss if their injury isn't tended to fast enough, especially if it's a serious one
Oni have very strong and flexible feet, and they are able to easily grip onto things like edges of buildings and stuff

Hii there! So I love learning about people's OC's, so who's your ninjago OC? Who are they, what are the broad strokes of their backstory? What's their personality like? Do they have a best friend or anyone they have an especially strong connection with?
Sorry for soooo many questions btw, I be curious XD
Thank you for asking! I feel bad for not doing much with odette when in reality i removed so much of what made her interesting in the first place :P
SO Odette is an ninja/apprentice who is part yokai (human x oni hybrids in my lore) and human. After her father dies her mom decides to move the whole family to the city for a fresh start. To keep herself distracted Odette gets a gig working at the dojo and that's where she meets the ninja. She and Lloyd begins with a frenemy vibe bc he's still heartbroken over Harumi and she has hang ups over revealing her oni ancestry right after the invasion. Odette decides to study Spinjitzu and after a couple of months, she becomes the Pink Ninja. Because Ninjago needs an actual PINK ninja and not just for a joke
Odette is feisty, spunky, a bit hardheaded and tends to underestimate her own strength. She also has a bout of loneliness cuz she's the only person left in her immediate family with physical Oni traits. So she usually kept to herself until joining the Ninja. Cole is her best friend.
Odette comes from a large family: her parents thought it was funny to give them all bird names: Starling, Hawk, Falcon, Ducky, Robin, Fowler & ofc Odette. The surname is Vulcanis (taken from her mom; like how Lloyd's surname is his dad's first name). She has some yokai cousins who have stronger connections to their ONI side; she hates them lol
Her abilities include super strength on par with Cole, immunity to vengestone and some aura manipulation. She can also do Spinjitzu and Airjitzu, and her shapeshifting improves into a useful skill for disguise. I know it sounds a bit mary suish but literally the entire team is OP.
In terms of looks Odette has purple eyes, dark brunette hair and looks like a standard minifig except her smile bears fangs and she has horns (also headcanon her ears are POINTY). Her fashion tends to be a mix of casual and alt/emo(?) think g1 MH. In yokai form she develops markings and tusks but lack an extra set of arms. She also likes to dye her hair bright neon pink.

October 1: Torment | Chains | "You promised me."

CW: Graphic Depictions of Violence, Death

Finally did some Morrotober stuff! Nothing but for my boy right here!
@morrotober
AO3 version: https://archiveofourown.org/works/42058260/chapters/105597894
Timelines are an interesting subject to think about. Like the branches on a tree, or the vines that run to cover every crevice or empty space in the world. It is ever-present, probabilities mixing together to create a new formula or a new universe out of nothing, stars, and galaxies colliding into an impossible mix of awe and horror. A sparkle of something new coming out from an abyss of differing events to one choice, or from a different trademark happening in the background. There are a million timelines within one branch, always fluctuating, multiplying, and being added as it develops. It is a whirlpool of all events being rolled into one, or perhaps, separating into different, new foreign timelines that divert from the main one, the real one. But there is no such thing as reality, or a true timeline from all these other timelines, correct? There is only, simply, a subject and an ending that can always be altered.
So, the subject of alternate timelines, and how they work, is simply whether or not your choices coincide with the best set of ending for you, a plausibility of climbing one tree higher with alternating branches. It is the reason why we are at whatever timeline you are in— you made it.
But why am I talking about timelines?
Oh, simply because that is currently what we are going through when we talk about Morro and his multiple choices throughout his life.
In a different timeline, Wu keeps his mouth shut tight and continues to nurture him until there comes a time he dies before he celebrates his thirtieth birthday, the Curse of the Masters of Wind coming to collect their debt.
In another one, Morro returns to the monastery, feet covered in dirt, face darkened with grime, and eyes filling with tears. Wu rushes to him, his arms as light as a feather as he puts them around the sniveling Morro.
In the most well-known timeline, Morro is cursed, tainted with the evil mark of the Preeminent, drowning in his resentment and anger before defying his own destiny and taking the Realm Crystal to release his master. He dies a watery death, after reflecting upon his own decisions leading to his own ruin, with no regrets of the present, but rather of the past.
And that is when the scripts and writings on Morro’s scroll in the Cloud Kingdom have now halted; the privileged writers who have done nothing but give each and every one of the ninjas and those who around them the worst fortunes imaginable, Morro’s scroll toppled to the ground, before being archived by the monks who did not want to mention the one who defied the concept of destiny that is as primordial as the Oni and Dragon Wars. That is where his scroll stays; collecting dust, the figure of the writing never attempting to rebel against the fate that has been assigned to him.
But, there is another timeline that they have experimented with executing, a timeline that they have stored into other timelines.
The one where Morro wins. Where he plants Lloyd’s head on a pike as a great cloud of curses starts to form over the Realm of Ninjago. Where the ghosts run free across the world, lighting up the world in a sickly green hue. Where pandemonium will forever be eternal in each and every settlement of the people. Where the ninja is nowhere to be found, unable to withstand the Preeminent’s hold over the Realm.
A gruesome fairytale, filled with the most grotesque endings to be told by the spirits and ghosts who wish to tell the tale, of the man that had wanted the green gi so much he broke the barriers of his fate. Of an eldritch entity with a hold over her own realm, wafting the other sixteen with her abysmal, evil aura.
Morro, the ghost, scorned son of Master Wu, the new Green Ninja, should feel the triumph. He’s finally gotten rid of his one true villain, the thorn at his side, the reason why he was never proven as worthy to his own master. The one that keeps on giving him the worst thoughts possible, of never being enough.
Yet, all he could feel when he kills Lloyd with his own two hands, not noticing the way his hands smoke and sting as the red liquid continues to clash with his green corporeal form, was emptiness and a dread pooling into his stomach. All his eyes were focused on is to kill Lloyd Garmadon, as ecstasy continues to drain from within him, his mouth curved to a manic smile.
Because he’s killed Lloyd Garmadon.
Yet, he doesn’t feel quite relieved, or overjoyed, now that he would not share his title with anyone else.
There was just… dread.
Dread has always been a constant companion of his as he traverses the Cursed Realm’s ribcage, a wasteland of discordant dystopia, attracting hungry stares everywhere as if he were prey to be eaten. Knowing that he is being watched by the one entity whom he didn’t very much want to interact with. She was able to sing to his inspiration in his mind and dreams, which is why he is currently here in the first place.
But why does he feel it instead of the crushing weight of happiness overtaking him as he waves the green gi high in the air?
He doesn’t even laugh— he could not even bring himself to lift the corners of his mouth up as the other ghosts take one note of the gi that he is clutching like a lifeline and cheer.
The Preeminent had crooned like an animal as he presents both the Realm Crystal and the bloodied gi, before finally settling onto her final form so that she could plant herself into this realm before moving on to the next one. Morro can only stare emptily, before simply floating in one of the houses that had once been part of the civilization he assisted in destroying. He hears the ear-piercing shrieks of the people, comparable to a dying animal, and the howls of joy that rumble the entire world.
The Preeminent is not very keen on keeping her promises, a fact that he’s known since he was a young ghost. It is especially clear to Morro, who’s seen the inside of her head to note that he was not as favored as he believes he is. If he was, he would have ascended to her head to achieve enlightenment for the dream of becoming the Green Ninja immediately when he had garnered her attention.
After a while (he doesn’t know if it was a few days, months, or even years; the Cursed Realm’s changeless surroundings desensitized him to time), it seems she’s become less interested in Ninjago and sets her sights upon the other realms.
She settles on the Cloud Kingdom first, and Morro doesn't feel a single thing except for relief and satisfaction, as the home of those who have come to write their fates disappear headlong to the abyss one by one, devoured by the Preeminent, never finding another semblance of afterlife that was not the paradise they seek.
Well, except one.
Fenwick falls to his knees in front of the gargantuan Preeminent and Morro, form trembling. Morro wants to laugh, but he's already drained himself of all emotions. “Please, spare me! I have done all you have asked! You have told me that you shall not curse this Realm when I assist you!”
Morro scoffs, "We all know what you're really like, Fenwick. You are nothing but a traitorous weasel."
Fenwick cowers at his statement, before turning to the Preeminent.
The Preeminent takes her time with her words, but Morro knows her answer. It's already been embedded in her head, like a wheel that would not stop spinning.
Then, she croons, the sound of a thousand Cursed souls morphing to make a legitimate sound. He shudders.
Fenwick, her voice tries to be sweet, but with a hundred voices, a woman, a man, and a child mixing together, it was a failed attempt. Fulfilling a promise is only for the Righteous.
The elderly man pales, and Morro takes this as a sign to swing his sword towards the offender of his master’s wrath. The squelch of flesh seizes the quiet realm, and the spray of blood subsequently follows.
Fenwick's head is on the ground now, permanently endowed with a horrified expression. A quell of satisfaction seeps into his veins, even when he has to smell the putrid stench of blood.
It was better to die by his hand than be devoured by the Preeminent.
Hm. The Preeminent hums, the only noise in this now static realm. It was dead, gone. The destiny-makers have all been killed, Cursed, or devoured. I did not think you would enact mercy upon the man who wronged you.
Believe Morro; he wanted this man to suffer, but in the end, he's decided he's caused enough suffering. Even if this man certainly deserves it.
Besides, he has another dream to chase, his own destiny he must fulfill.
The Green gi burns on his clothes.
He turns to look at the Preeminent, eyes empty but excited. "Master, I believe I am now worthy."
Of what? She asks as if she was playing naive. He knows of her tricks by now. He's not falling for it.
"Of obtaining the rank of the Green Ninja." He keeps his impatience and irritation for her out of his voice, moving to a proud stance. "I have not failed you, Mistress of the Cursed Realm."
Yes, indeed you haven't. Then another ear-splitting silence enters the realm. The dread continues to pull on his corporeal form as if he was melting under the pressure.
After a minute of silence, he tries again. "... What's the verdict, Mistress?"
She starts to laugh, and his own ghostly form wavers.
It was the same laugh she had expressed when she made a deal with him, back at the Caves of Despair.
Morro feels cold seep into his veins, like roots searching for ways to quench their thirst.
He feels the wind pick up, a sign that he was utterly horrified.
He's already sealed his fate the day he made a deal with her, but he didn't think she'd break it immediately.
Then, he feels something grip his wrist. With a gasp, he sees the tentacles of the Preeminent coiling on him, as if they are in a rough embrace.
But he knows what this means.
"You— you promised me!" He bellows at the Preeminent, trying to escape the chains when he knows full well there is truly no escaping the entirety of the Realm.
Like I said, Master of Wind, she doesn't address him as the 'rightful Green Ninja' anymore. As if it was a fake title. Fulfilling promises is only for the Righteous.
Morro's desperation starts to show, as he begins to claw at the ground, leaving scratching marks that will mark the day he foolishly trusted the Preeminent’s whims. He should have known this would happen— he was never truly favored, simply only a title that has been given to him by proxy due to how expendable and powerful he was. When he controls the wind, he controls life; something that the Cursed Realm is clearly devoid of, and that is something that his Mistress has always wanted to exploit.
He wants to laugh as his hands go numb, as his own ghostly body gives up on trying to evade his own proper death. The afterlife he has been living until now was simply an augmentation of his own life, except it was less forgiving and harsher than what he had been exposed to.
How absurd of him, to have to completely bow to the Mistress of the Realm in hopes of seeking enlightenment, before he is consumed.
Morro should not have made a deal with an entity that he is aware will never keep her vows straight.
That is his last thought before he is ingested into the Preeminent, feeling his own spirit disintegrate into prompt nothingness as if he had never existed in the first place.

i feel its only appropriate to ask for sims coupels, gimme blaidd and samrad and kitty and max <:3c 28 onward
Tumblr media
screaming crying i miss them so much
How would they describe each other?
Life partner and other half, inspiration
Evil bitch (affectionate), deadbeat wretch (semi-affectionate)
What's their go-to takeout order and movie night combo?
Order a pizza pie (they've always wanted to try it) and watch vampire movies
The ritual is to fight for an hour about what they want to eat until either gives up, then fight for an hour about what movie they want to watch while Lucis eats their food
What are their nicknames for each other? (If any)
Darling, love of my life, blood of my veins, beat of my heart
Bitch, kitten, kitty cat
What's their first dance song? (If they have one)
yes. i mean blaidd promised to dedicate a song to samrad and i'm fairly sure he did
surprisingly soft
How are they intimate with each other in a nonsexual way?
Blaidd taught Samrad to play the piano, they played other instruments together, cooked with ethically sourced blood, listened to music, cuddled, played with the cats, looked after their child and garden, painted
Cuddling and kisses, not fighting over petty things
What do their families think of their partner?
Vix adored Samrad, Alfonso agrees with everything she says always forever. Vlad and Oni liked Blaidd too, everyone was happy.
Max's parents were both dead and Kitty was never close with his siblings, Kitty's mom was NOT happy with her choices, her dad was fairly neutral but neither ever liked Max, I don't think Kitty's half-siblings really liked Max either. Tbh neither really did Lucis
What are their favorite couple activities for each season?
Cuddle up next to the fireplace and play music during winter (and you're no longer vampires so you suddenly feel cold), clean the manor and plant a garden in the spring, manage the garden and paint during summer, rake leaves and harvest during fall
Throw snowballs at each other in winter, throw mud at each other during spring, throw water balloons at each other and draw obscenities on the other with sunscreen when they don't notice in the summer, fool around in leaf piles during fall
Who wakes up and falls asleep first?
Sleeping's tough for both because vampirism (even after they're cured, it lingers), it varies heavily
Kitty was a criminal who worked the night shift, she slept late
Who initiated the first kiss?
Samrad because do you really think Blaidd had social skills
Kitty, get it
What was it like?
Enthusiastic. Fangs got in the way
They were teens they just bonked their teeth together
What do they love most about each other?
Blaidd likes being seen and getting attention, Samrad has that to give in heaps. He enjoys Blaidd's calm and peaceful aura, especially when at the piano. Also so cute how he's like with the cats
The other is damn sexy. But Kitty enjoys how hard she can butt heads with Max, he gives her a challenge and doesn't back down, meanwhile he likes a woman he's slightly afraid of
Who worries and who calms?
Blaidd is the worrywart
Neither has worried about a damn thing in their life. Except about Lucis
Do they have any jealous tendencies over each other?
Only when Libby or Litty had taken Samrad's spot in Blaidd's arms
Nah, but both are somewhat concerned about Lucis because that boy can and will destroy any relationship he wants
Who is the most physically affectionate?
Samrad
Kitty, but like an annoyed cat would
Which one of them did you make first?
Blaidd was born in-game as heir no. 21 and I decided later that he would marry Vlad and Oni's son, so I created Samrad (I didn't want to get rid of Samhain oops)
Max is a Sims 4 premade, he's existed since the beginning. Kitty was born as heir no. 13 in the game.
How long have you been playing with them (or making edits with, etc.)
I added Blaidd to the Frost family tree on 29.3.2022, so he was born around that time, maybe even on that day. I added Samrad to the family tree on the 30th though and I kinda doubt I played through Blaidd's entire childhood in one day. I might have though, I speedran that shit. The last time I edited them both was on 12.4. so I guess they died around that time.
Kitty was added on 26.11.2021, last time edited on 10.1.2022, I guess that was her life
How long have they known each other?
Since young adults
Since teenagers
What age did they meet?
Maybe around 35-40 years old, but given that they were vampires their aging halted at maybe 20? Not in a hurry. Blaidd spent some 15 years just sitting in the empty manor playing the piano and sometimes snacking on his friends with permission
like 15
Who takes longer to get ready?
Samrad, listen the hair needs braiding
Kitty, the eyeliner needs to be sharp enough to kill a man
How did they meet?
Blaidd visited the big city and ran into another vampire busking, wowza
They were in a club together, causing mischief
What is something they have given the other that has a lot of meaning?
A child Painting from Samrad, mortality from Blaidd?? His life goal was to find a cure and he made two
Slap Stolen jewelry from Kitty, an engagement ring from Max
Who's more of the "protector" in the relationship?
As powerful as Vix is, she didn't really teach Blaidd to be that kind of vampire, meanwhile Samrad's parents are a bit more attentive and also very powerful. He also has a little sister so he is both protective and capable of an ass-whooping
Both try to protect each other, both insist they don't need protecting. Kick his ass baby I got your flower
What is their dynamic playing board games and video games? (versus each other and/or on the same team)
Gracious winners and losers, work extremely well together when in the same team.
Screaming, crying, throwing hands. Even when in the same team. Lucis wins. After subtly getting them to fight in the first place.

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ
Yua is reserved and well-mannered; her unapproachable aura and blank expression makes it hard for others to get to know her better. But the truth was, Yua just has difficulty in expressing her emotions and motives, and this comes from her upbringing of growing up locked up in a temple in the Far East with only the animals and old monks as her company.
And while her words can be cutting and harsh, Yua wanted nothing but to make friends with her new environment. She wanted to understand people more, and perhaps, learned how to feel "strong emotions" as others. Yua might be quite bad at articulating herself, but she worries a lot about her friends (particularly the Adeuce, Grim, Epel, Sebek and Jack) and takes on various problems on her own in order not to burden others. She is great at resolving conflicts, helping her friends, and solving problems of others regardless of their background and allegiance—which can be both her strength and weakness.
Yua was also very curious about the differences between her and other species, especially humans. And although she's pretty bad at understanding interpersonal relationships, or making friends in general, Yua is a rather fast learner and can be competent. Due to her inquisitive nature and by the books she read, Yua developed a strong sense of curiosity at things that piqued her interest.
ᴜɴɪǫᴜᴇ ᴍᴀɢɪᴄ
"Historia of the Dead"
「 死者の歴史 」
Yua's Unique Magic, Historia of the Dead, was connected to her natural ability to summon yokai, obakemono, oni and other creatures of the Far East under her command. They could serve her in different ways; be it for protection or for just idle company. But due to the rapid accumulation of blot, she rarely called them unless she deemed the situation impossible to overcome.
But summoning creatures was just a front of Yua's Historia of the Dead. And she never talked to anyone "what" her Unique Magic could actually do.
ᴛɪᴅʙɪᴛs
Yua spends her 999 years living with the monks in an old temple in the Far East. It was surrounded by mountains and forests far from civilisation.
Yua hates wearing shoes; she doesn't understand the appeal of them because she loves feeling the earth with her bare feet.
Yua has ichthyophobia (fear of fish). So when she found out that there was a whole dormitory who was full of them, she made it her mission to avoid every student of that dorm. Especially the Leech twins and Azul...what could be the reason why?
Yua knows Shaolin Kung Fu. And despite her small stature, she can take down someone as big as Leona and Jack.
The little bell dangling from the braid on her hair was a gift from a special someone in her past.
Yua isn't fond of sleeping as well. She never sleeps at night. Thus, she does so during afternoons.
She likes collecting trinkets and garbage that are only unique to the "West".
Yua currently have eight tails now. Once she reached her 1000th birthday and gained her ninth...what could possibly happen?
Although Yua isn't fond of fish, she of course held secret affections towards a certain eels.

KINKTOBER DAY 9: Size difference
Tumblr media
Pyramid Head x AMAB!Reader
Contains: teratophilia, size difference, ass eating?, dubcon, first time
Almost 3000 words of monstrous FILTH.
You weren’t gonna lie, you were definitely ogling the new killer. How could you not stare at him? He is absolutely massive. You thought the Oni was huge, but this guy took the crown. He towered over all survivors, a wall of brutal muscle intended to tear them apart. Speaking of tearing things apart, his hands are definitely built for the job. Large enough to fit over someone’s face and crush the bone to dust. Again, you weren’t gonna lie. You were definitely having inappropriate thoughts about his hands. His fingers looked as thick as two of your own put together, and if they were put to work on something other than killing you and your friends? They would definitely be mind blowing. The few moments you get to appreciate his physique, you often find yourself staring at the veins that lead from his well muscled forearms to his powerful hands. It seems like today is your lucky day, because that’s what you find yourself doing right now. Pyramid Head has Bill slung over his shoulder, one hand resting on Bill’s back, the other wrapped around his massive sword. You’re practically drooling as you watch his muscles move smooth under his skin to toss Bill on the hook. You have to bite back a whine as arousal starts to flicker to life in your gut. You continue to hide behind the wall, waiting for Pyramid Head to leave. He hesitates, pausing for a moment to look around, before groaning and trudging away. Releasing a heavy breath, you run up and pull Bill off, motioning for him to follow you to a corner. He’s grumbling to himself in annoyance as you patch up the gaping wound in his chest. “Don’t worry Bill, we all mess up when a new killer comes around.” He glares up at you in annoyance as you pat him on the back and stand up. “I’ve been around here long enough to know that most new killers aren’t that jacked.” He takes a puff of his cigarette before heading back to the gen he was working on. With a sigh, you follow him and help him work the gen back to its full glory. As it blares to life, someone screams in the distance, their red aura falling to the ground. The sound of swinging metal sings through the air, and the body jolts with a last groan of pain. You clench your jaw as you feel their energy leave the trial. “Well fuck, this trial is going too fast. We need to get to another gen.” Bill grunts in agreement, waving for you to follow him. There’s a generator tucked back in a corner between the trees. It’s about halfway to being finished, so you set to digging your hands into its gut and rearranging the wires. Your mind is still a little muddled with thoughts of big strong hands, so you have to scramble to connect the wires when a skill check pops up. “Fuck…” You mumble under your breath, shaking your head a bit to clear your thoughts. Bill casts you a glance and raises a brow before setting back to work. You wipe the machine blood onto your shirt and start to mess with the knobs on the side. Light footsteps approach from nearby, and you look to see who it is. Nea comes into view, holding a nasty looking gash in her side. You move to go and heal her, but she waves you away. “No point healing me. This gen is almost done, let me help and then we can find another spot to heal. He’s far enough away that we can finish this.” She moves to the other side and adjusts the levers, hissing as every little movement jars her wound. The generator is roaring with life at this point, and with one last push of a knob, it lights up the forest around you. You quickly tug Nea up by her hand, leading her to the cabin in the middle, where a gen is already humming with life. You set her down against the wall and press your lips into a tight line as you work on suturing the wound closed. Nea clenches her fists as she tries to stay still, body twitching with tension as the tear starts to quickly heal where the thread has closed it. The faint throb of a heartbeat makes itself home inside your skull, making you work a bit faster. Nea groans in pain at your less than gentle touch, but gives you a nod of understanding as she feels the heartbeat in her head. There’s about an inch of open flesh left when the heartbeat spikes and the menacing sound of his blade strike your ears. You barely have enough time to jump back as a burning hot iron rod punches through Nea’s chest, causing her to flop down onto the floor. “Oh you have got to be kidding me!” She sputters through a mouthful of blood, glaring at the nearby doorway. You’re rooted to your spot, staring with wide eyes as the behemoth of a man rounds the corner. His powerful muscles ripple under the golden light of the cabin, rekindling your earlier arousal. Pyramid Head leans down and bunches his fist in the back of Nea’s shirt, tossing her over his shoulder like she weighs nothing. The point of his head turns to face you, muscles tensing as he moves to raise his weapon. You let out a breath you didn’t even realize you had been holding, getting off your ass and bolting. You cringe as you hear Nea’s scream rip through the air behind you. You quickly dip behind a bush and hope he will leave so you can rescue her. This time, you’re not so fortunate. With a sound almost eerily like a deep breath, his hulking form comes through the doorway, head observing the surrounding area. You have to cover your mouth with a hand to stifle the quick breaths coming from your chest. The pulsing flesh under his helmet drips with a viscous substance as he lets out a tortured groan, head twisting to look at the bush you’re hiding behind. Immediately, he surges forward, blade dragging behind him. You push out of your hiding spot, legs burning as you run as fast as you can. You try to find a pallet anywhere nearby, but it seems this area was cleared out. With a puff of air, you head towards the killer shack. With some luck, that pallet will still be there. You breathe a sigh of relief as it comes into sight, noticing that the pallet is still resting against the wall. Pyramid Head has managed to catch up a bit, and you can feel his presence pressed against your back like a wall. Pushing yourself harder, you manage to make it through the doorway of the shack before a heavy body barrels you over. The breath is knocked out of you as his weight lands on your back, keeping you under him. You shiver as he lets out another groan, tensing up as his wonderfully large hands hold your arms down. A slick sound comes from behind you, and you scream as something wet slides over the back of your neck. Pyramid Head hisses and grips onto you tighter as his tongue tastes more of your skin. You’re not sure whether to be disgusted or oh so horribly aroused, but you don’t have long to think about it, because Bill comes rushing around the corner with his flashlight. “You fucking brute! Come get me!” He flicks the flashlight on, temporarily blinding the furious beast. Pyramid Head gets up with a grating wail, leaving you on the floor, dripping in his saliva. As he chases after Bill, you get to your feet and sigh. The disgust simmering in your gut is making an odd combination with the ever present arousal there, leaving you confused. Wiping off the back of your neck, you faintly notice that Nea’s energy is no longer in the trial. You grimace, realizing that it’s going to be hard to complete 2 gens between you and Bill. Despite the thought, you make your way around the edge of the map, searching for a gen to work on. An untouched one sits between some trees, and you settle down to work on it. The forest is silent aside from the gentle noises of the machine, so you’re left to your loud thoughts as you fix the generator. You can’t stop thinking about the way the thick, wet muscle had slid along your skin, and the way his hands had absolutely engulfed your tiny arms. You shudder and suppress a moan as the thought sends a perverse wave of pleasure through you. At this point, you’re unbearably hard, aching for release, but you ignore it in favor of trying to finish the gen. You manage to coax it to half life before Bill’s fallen aura lights up in the distance. With a sigh, you get up and run in his direction, wincing at the friction to your cock. You manage to make it 20 meters away from him when he’s finally thrown up on the hook. You watch from behind a tree as the Entity appears to attempt to impale him. Pyramid Head digs his blade into the ground and drags a trench around the hook before walking away, body tensed with purpose. Bill looks towards you and shakes his head when he knows you’re watching. ‘Find the hatch’ he mouths to you, before letting go. You cringe as you watch his body get impaled and lifted into the sky. Steeling yourself, you silently make your way to the cabin. The hatch seemed to pop up there most often, so maybe you’d get lucky enough to find it before he did. As you enter the doorway, the familiar hum of the hatch lights a spark of hope inside you. You search the area around the cabin, heart thrumming as you grow closer to the sound. Nestled among some grass, the lid of the hatch stands out, calling for you to come closer. You bolt for it, but cry out when your body is jerked back into a solid wall of flesh. Had you been less focused on finding the hatch, you would’ve noticed that your heart was pounding from more than just the adrenaline. You’re thrown to the ground and rolled onto your back to stare up at the giant man above you. His tongue- which you now notice is huge, just like the rest of him- slips out beneath his helmet to trace over your pulse. You whimper, body jolting at the feeling of the wet appendage touching such a sensitive area. Your cock is throbbing unbearably in your pants, almost painful with your withheld arousal. Pyramid Head makes a hollow huffing sound, retracting his tongue to pull back and look at you. It’s hard to tell where he’s looking since he has no visible eyes, but when the point of the pyramid drops down, you know you’re caught. You try to move away, but Pyramid Head places a heavy hand on your chest and grabs a fistful of your pants. You yelp in protest as he rips your pants and underwear away as if they were nothing more than tissue paper. Your cock slaps against your lower abdomen and you hiss as it’s exposed to the faintly humid air. Pyramid Head’s tongue slips out again, running over your length as he lets out a growl. You moan and buck into him, digging your fingers into the ground as you watch him with wide eyes. The tongue doesn’t even pause as it trails over your balls and down the cleft of your ass. You try to speak, but the instant your mouth opens, your hole is being split open on the thick appendage. You cry out, writhing as the merciless organ forces its way into you and wriggles against areas you had never thought existed. “Fuck! Oh my god!” You’re trembling uncontrollably, hips stuttering up as your insides are assaulted. His tongue presses up against a spot inside you, causing you to scream as your orgasm catches you off guard. Your cock throbs painfully as your cum splatters across your chest, some managing to get on your chin. The tongue quickly retracts, giving you a moment to breathe and recover from the dizzying climax. You don’t get long though, because when you look up, Pyramid Head is forcing his hips between your thighs, the heavy weight of his cock laying against your stomach. You forget how to breathe for a moment, breath snatched away by how fucking big he is. He must be at least 12 inches long, reaching well past your navel; he is as thick as your fist, with throbbing veins leading to a ruddy head. You snap out of your surprise as he lifts your legs over his shoulders and grabs his cock to guide it into your entrance. “Woah, wait! It’s not gonna fit, dude-“ Pyramid Head growls, and, without hesitation, pushes himself into you. Your complaints are silenced as you wail at the burning stretch of him entering you. His viscous saliva allowed him to enter you with relative ease, but did little to soothe the pain of being stretched past your limit. You let out a sob as the bulbous head pops past the resistance of your rim. Pyramid Head wastes no time in forcing his way into you, ignoring your cries as he manages to push 4 inches in. Your hands reach up to dig your nails into the cold flesh of his biceps, too far gone to admire the way the muscles flex under your hands. He snaps his hips forward, forcing another 3 inches in. Your eyes are rolling back into your head, breaths coming short at the feeling of how full you are. The beast above you lets out a screeching cry as your nails rip into his skin, black blood oozing out over your fingers. He furiously begins to fuck into you, forcing more of his cock in. Your eyes wander in a daze down to your stomach, staring in horror at the prominent bulge just below your navel. Your head lolls back, mouth open in a silent scream as the pleasure starts to overtake the pain. Already, you’re cumming again, cock jumping pitifully against your stomach. Pyramid Head doesn’t stop, he just continues to pound into you, groaning eagerly at the way you clench around him. Your vision goes white as he works you past your limit without a break, causing you to scream in a cracked voice. His pace is brutal as he fucks into you, hips slapping against your ass and jolting your body with each thrust. You can feel tears streaming down your face as your vision clears enough to allow you to see the pyramid towering over you. You try to speak, but your tongue is clumsy in your mouth, and all that comes out is a jumbled mess of moans. Pyramid Head groans and forces his hips as deep as they’ll go, causing you to sob as you feel the crown of his dick push your navel up. You didn’t think your body would let that happen, but Pyramid Head continues to surprise you. Angling his hips, he starts to push deeper with each thrust, causing your vision to white out again as you feel a sharp pain in your stomach. Your third orgasm must cause you to completely black out, because you fade into reality with the feeling of something hot and thick dripping from your ass and a wet appendage cleaning the mess off your chest. You look down with exhausted eyes at the monster running his tongue over your chest. Your skin twitches at even the slightest sensation, body still tweaked out from overstimulation. You shut your eyes again and sigh as Pyramid Head gets up. He walks over to your side and bends down to pick you up. You shout as the feeling of him jostling your body causes a fierce pain to rip through your lower body. You wince and cling to his chest, trying not to cry as he adjusts you in his arms. His chest rumbles with a mechanical purr as he walks you over to the hatch. His tongue slips out to run over your lips in a mock kiss before he drops you into the void. With a jolt, you wake up by the campfire, body aching with the memory of last trial. You sigh, running a hand through your hair. Shit.

Guilt
So before you continue, if you continue, I wanted to give a little context before the story. So no one but PIXAL knows about Daniella and her job with the Great Library, well not the entire extent of it. And Daniella doesn't want to tell the others because she believes it's safer for them if they don't know. It causes a lot of fights between Daniella and Lloyd.
One of the major fights they have is when they have Harumi on the Bounty and Lloyd keeps trying to get close to her, but Daniella knows that Harumi is just using Lloyd (she even pushes Daniella off the Bounty during a storm to "silence her" because Dani is very vocal about Harumi being evil.) But Daniella can't really tell Lloyd that she can feel her aura because that is a skill that she develops fighting demons and defending the 17 realms and being the Purple Ninja of the Great Library. (There is a good possibility that there will be a story on Harumi and Daniella's fight on the Bounty soon ^^)
Another one of the fights is about the Oni masks and how the last one really needs to not be found. Daniella knows that the last mask is protected where it is, because she did her research on them before at the Great Library and knows what can be done with them if they are brought together. And it just adds another reason for Daniella to hate Harumi more
So when the ninja are sent to the First Realm in Season 9 and the Resistance realizes that they aren't dead, Lloyd asks Daniella to travel the Realms and find the Ninja. But she won't.
Daniella's fanseason that I am (slowly) writing will cover all of this and hopefully make more sense to everyone but enjoy the story below.
Here is a link to Daniella's fanseason if you want to read what is there so far: https://www.wattpad.com/902163649-the-master-of-dragons-prologue
Lloyd sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. They had been arguing for hours, neither budging in their opinions.
“I don’t understand why you won’t go looking. Don’t you miss them?” Lloyd asked.
“Of course I do! But looking for them now would do more harm than good!” Daniella replied, crossing her arms.
“We can handle the Sons of Garmadon and Dad for a little while without you.”
“Lloyd, I don’t know where they’ve gone. It could take months. Months! And that’s just doing a quick search of the Realms for a trace. There are realms that are bigger than Ninjago.”
“Then explain to me how you can go ‘save dragons’, or whatever it is you do, in a few days. A week or two at most!” Lloyd snapped, turning around to face her.
“That’s different!” Daniella argued back, looking her brother in the eye.
“Oh, really?”
“Yes.”
Daniella squared her jaw, giving no sign of backing down. Lloyd held his sister’s gaze before turning away. He took a deep breath before he tried a different approach. One he knew would cut deep.
“Do you even love him anymore?”
Daniella ‘s mouth fell open, her grip tightening around her sleeves. She opened and closed her mouth several times, struggling to find the words. Lloyd clenched his fists, knowing the weight of his words.
“You think I don’t love him?” Daniella asked, challenging him to repeat himself.
“Dani, I – “
“No! You don’t get to say stuff like that and take it back like it’s nothing Lloyd! I love him! More than you’d ever know. But I can’t just up and leave. I can’t make decisions with my heart. If I did, the worlds would burn! I have to be an adult; I have to use my head; no matter how much it hurts me!
“Not going after them is not a twisted form of time out like you keep thinking. This is the only way that we will win. If I leave, it kills any future with our victory. Lloyd, you haven’t seen the different futures where Father wins. Each one is a different nightmare for the people of Ninjago. Staying is the only way!”
“You said you couldn’t control time,” Lloyd accused, pointing his finger.
“I can’t. Not the way you wanted. It’s against the rules, but I can base my decisions on what I’ve seen,” Daniella defended.
“Who’s rules? Our friends are gone, Ninjago is in ruin, Dad gets closer to finding us every hour! And you want to talk about rules?” Lloyd shouted.
“We are the good guys here Lloyd. We can’t break the rules just because it’s easier.”
“Whose rules, Daniella?” he repeated.
“It doesn’t matter. What matters is that I’m not going to find the ninja. We need to focus on protecting the people,” Daniella answered, letting her hands fall to her side.
“This is why no one listens to you anymore! You never tell anyone the whole story! You run off for weeks at a time and come back like nothing happened! You won’t tell me how you knew about the Oni masks, or Harumi, or whatever it is that is bothering you anymore. It’s like you don’t trust me anymore!” Lloyd yelled. Daniella held her hand out to grab his arm, but he pulled himself out of her reach. He took a deep breath before walking around her and walking out the door.
Daniella watched as her brother stormed out the door. She looked down at the floor as she let the tears fall. She slowly sank to her knees, drawing in a ragged breath.
She wanted to tell him. Tell him everything; where she had been, the things she had done. Daniella had nearly slipped more than a few times, nearly telling him the horrors she had faced. But she knew the cost of telling the whole truth; the way her friends and family would look at her differently. She wiped the tears from her cheeks and took a deep breath.
“Keeping them in the dark is for their own good. Even if it drives them to hate me,” she whispered to herself.
Daniella belongs to me
Lloyd belongs to LEGO

Genjiden~Eternal Contract Story Event~Ibuki Route
‘(Just for those who don’t know what this event is about? This is the 2nd ‘What if’ event following the Shirabyoshi Event. In this event, Yoshino(MC) is a demon from birth, and stories are formulated in such a way showing how the male leads and Yoshino will meet and fall in love if she was a demon. Imagine the real prologue without Yoshino in it, because this story is happening after that.)
*
The beautiful flowers of the Otherworld bloom and sways even though there is no wind.
There are similar ones in the human world, but I don’t when it is at its best there....
(Okay, I think it’s time to go to the human world.)
I’m a demon, who often visits the human world.
It’s fun to experience different landscapes and creatures from the human world.
(Of course, that’s not the only reason why I go there.)
As I wondered if today would be the day I would achieve my goal, I stepped towards the gate.
???: “You’re here again.”
(Hm?)
I see a strange man blocking my path.
He had rich long golden hair and two horns were growing out of it----
Yoshino: “-----Oni?”
His frosty eyes shine brightly.
Oni: *Smiles like a creep*
(Ummm...)
I stepped back immediately when I felt the intimidating feeling seeping out of him even when he doesn’t talk.
(I can feel that he’s not just any Oni.)
Oni: “I am Ibuki. Have you heard of that name?”
(Ibuki? Hmmm....)
Yoshino: “Are you saying that you’re the Demon King?”
Shuten Doji, Ibuki. That was the name that came to my mind.
The Demon King or more precisely Ibuki-sama looks down at me in amusement when I was looking back at him in surprise.
Ibuki: “I’ve heard that you’ve got a rare gift. I’m a busy man you know. But I still came all this way to see you, and it wouldn’t hurt to make me happy, right?”
Yoshino: “Eerrmmm....”
(Actually, it’s true that I have a one in a million rare power.)
Yoshino: “But why did you wanna see me?”
Ibuki-sama slowly takes a step towards me.
Ibuki: “Your exceptional powers might attract humans. So I thought, you would make a very interesting toy.”
I raised an eyebrow at his insinuations.
(You want to use my powers to destroy humans? How dare you!)
Yoshino: “Sorry. I can’t cooperate with that.”
Snickering at my rejection, Ibuki-sama lifts one hand casually.
Ibuki: “It seems you have mistaken. I’m not here to negotiate. I’m here to do what I want.”
(Is that thunder!?)
I had a bad feeling and quickly ducked down.
The next thing I knew, a bolt of lightning strike the spot where I was standing.
(Is that Ibuki-sama’s powers...!?)
Ibuki: “What’s wrong? Isn’t it time to run? Come on, run away and I’ll keep chasing you.”
Yoshino: “I will, even if you don’t tell me to.”
I turned my back to Ibuki-sama, and started running as fast as I could.
Ibuki: “Not bad.... It’s fun to chase someone so fast.”
(I’m totally being played. It’s frustrating.....but I have to get out of here now anyway!)
.................
I continued running till I reached my limit and then fell onto my knees in the flower field.
(No more...!)
I was breathing heavily and my legs were shaking.
Ibuki: “You’ve done well for a little girl, but that’s the end of your marathon.”
Yoshino: “Ah!”
Before I knew it, Ibuki-sama was standing right behind me, his arms holding my waist.
Like a predator, he pushed me down on the ground and held me by the nape of my neck.
(Is he going to kill me?)
Ibuki; “Don’t be so hard on yourself. What’s the point if there’s no response?”
Yoshino: “Eh?...Ah!!”
A fleshy wet thing touches the edge of my ear and a shiver runs down my spine.
(He’s also biting...!)
When I turned my head in surprise, our eyes meet and Ibuki-sama was laughing seeing my ridiculous reaction.
Ibuki: “Hehe, the face you’re making now is nasty.”
Yoshino: “M-My face...?”
Ibuki: “Your face is telling me that you can’t look at anything else but me and you’re anticipating something more.”
Then, Ibuki-sama inserts two fingers in my mouth and plays with my tongue.
Just as I was about to sink my teeth into his fingers, he sweetly tweaked the nape of my neck, and my whole body jumped in excitement.
Ibuki: “You’re resisting like a kitten. How cute.”
Yoshino: “Nnn...nnn....”
Ibuki: “Now, why don’t try saying ‘Meow.”
(No way!!)
Ibuki-sama’s long fingers tickled the sensitive parts of my mouth and laughed while watching me struggle.
After my tongue was released, I started breathing sweetly.
Yoshino: “Why....are you doing this....?”
Ibuki: “Why?”
Ibuki-sama’s wet fingers traced down my neck and I felt a chill and fear at the same time.
Ibuki: “Because your reaction is human-like and it’s very intriguing.”
(Why...)
Yoshino: “Why do you want to do terrible things to humans?”
Ibuki: “We both are demons. Isn’t it natural for demons to torment and corrupt humans?”
Yoshino: “No! I won’t do that! All I want to do is make a deal with a human.”
Shaking off his fingers on my neck, I pushed away Ibuki-sama.
Ibuki: “You want to make a deal? Did you hit your head or something?”
A glimmer of interest shines in Ibuki-sama’s eyes.
(Looks like I have to tell him what’s going on.)
I decided to give up the idea of running away and told him about my goal.
Yoshino: “...As you already know, I have the powers to heal a person. But when I heal someone, I have to take away the life force of another living being. And, I have no control over this power.”
Ibuki: “So you want to make a deal with a human to weaken your powers.”
Ibuki-sama chuckled after guessing my goal correctly.
It’s kind of embarrassing to be seen through, so I didn’t argue.
Ibuki: “You really are stupid.”
The corners of Ibuki-sama’s mouth moves up and it didn’t hide the fact that he was amused.
Ibuki: “Humans are cute but stupid creatures. Creatures who dream something beyond their reach and will do anything to achieve even if it means to get their hands dirty.”
(Of course, I’m well aware that not all humans are good...)
Yoshino: “But Ibuki-sama who has never made a deal with a human, can never understand my feelings!”
Ibuki-sama, who is so strong and can conquer different powers perfectly, is so beautiful.
I’m so disappointed that I can’t do anything but say it back to him like a sore loser.
Ibuki: “......”
I saw Ibuki-sama looking down at me emotionlessly.
(Did I offend him....? I did offend him, didn’t I? Looks like my time is over.)
I clenched my fists and mentally prepared myself to be struck by lightning.
Ibuki: “Do you want to play a game?”
(It’s not a death game, right?)
With unexpected words, Ibuki-sama pinched my forehead.
Ibuki: “If I win, you’ll agree to be my toy and let me torment you.”
.............
A month has passed since that day. Ibuki-sama brought me to the human world since then and I’ve been living with him at his base.
The rule of our game was simple-----If I don’t find a human within the next three months to make a deal with, Ibuki-sama wins. If I did find one, I win.
(And the loser has to surrender to the winner.)
(So I’ve no intention of losing!)
Ibuki-sama opened his mouth to start small talk, perhaps after seeing me trembling thinking about the wildest things that would happen if I lose.
Ibuki: “You’ve been eyeing a daughter of a noble family, weren’t you....She does charity for the poor out of vanity. But I heard behind the scenes, her attitude towards her servants is the worst. How about seducing a man with your pretty face? There was a guy asking for you-----”
Yoshino: “I don’t want to hear that.”
I slumped my shoulders thinking about the number of humans I’ve been striking off from my list in the past month.
Ibuki: “And there’s this another man, who is was an official, famous for his integrity. I did a little bit of digging and found out he got into embezzlement.”
Yoshino: “I said NO!”
Ibuki: “You never do any background check before agreeing to one. Be grateful that you don’t have to deal with weirdos.”
(Yeah...It’s hard to accept it.)
I initially doubted Ibuki-sama when he told me about these facts and went to find out by myself.
No matter how many times I repeat the confirmation, I’m only reminded that the words are not false.
(I hate to admit it, but he has been sincere about this game from day one.)
Yoshino: “If only I had been able to scare humans into doing bad things like Ibuki-sama....”
Ibuki: “I don’t like doing boring things like that. I’m more into breaking them right away.”
Yoshino: “And you’re seduction skills are too good.”
(You’re strong and clever, if only you were also a good person....I might have been attracted to you.)
I sighed, but Ibuki-sama reaches out to play with my hair.
(...Hm?)
Ibuki: “Hey, Yoshino. Are you ready to admit it? That it’s better to play with humans than to make a deal with them.”
Yoshino: “I haven’t given up yet.”
Ibuki: “Good. It’s the ones who don’t give up easily are worth breaking.”
At the same time, when Ibuki-sama smiled at me----
???: “Ibuki!”
The front door opens to reveal a pale-looking man.
Ibuki: “Akihito? What’s wrong?”
(Akihito-san? For a human being, he has a very strange aura.)
Even after seeing, Ibuki-sama’s two antennas he’s calm. Looks like he’s aware of demons and the Otherworld.
Akihito: “It’s Yasuchika. He’s serious.”
Ibuki: “What?”
Yoshino: “Who is Yasuchika-san?”
(Who is he? and he’s fatally injured?)
Looking at me from the sideways, Ibuki-sama shrugs.
Ibuki: “He’s an Onmyoji and human, but I don’t think he’s someone suitable for your case.”
Akihito: “Who is this, Ibuki?”
(!!!)
I met Akihito-san’s eyes and bowed lightly.
Ibuki: “Don’t worry. She’s a fellow demon and a playmate of mine.”
Hiding me behind his back, Ibuki-sama turns to Akihito-san.
Ibuki: “More than that, What actually happened to Yasuchika?”
Akihito: “I’m not sure of the details yet. It seems like he was badly injured in a rash attempt to exterminate a demon at the request of his superior.”
Ibuki: “........Ohh?”
Akihito: “They did everything they could to treat him on the road. But on the way to Kyoto, the wound got infected and he lost consciousness. The pharmacist has told me that if things continue to go badly, he could lose his life.”
Ibuki: “.....I see.”
(So he’s suffering from a life-threatening injury.)
Ibuki: “But this news is new to me.”
Akihito: “He didn’t tell anyone about this mission because he didn’t want me to get in trouble.”
Ibuki: “That’s because.....that moron loves you too much.”
His tone was the same, but...when he said ‘moron’ I felt a different temperature, unlike the usual.
(I think I may have never seen Ibuki-sama’s face like this before.)
Akihito: “I was naive. I should have seen this coming.”
Even Akihito-san's cool countenance is now tinged with anguish.
(A human named Akihito-san, an Onmyoji named Yasuchika-san and the Demon King Ibuki....I don’t know what their relationship is nor the circumstances of these three.)
(But I can at least make out that, the person named Yasuchika-san is an irreplaceable existence for both Ibuki-sama and Akihito-san.)
Above all that----
I was moved by Ibuki-sama’s earnestness. So I made my resolve.
Yoshino: “Ibuki-sama.”
Ibuki: “What? I’m busy. We’ll play later.”
I didn’t listen to his rejection and stepped forward.
Yoshino: “Please allow me to use my powers.”
Ibuki: “What!?”
At my words, Akihito-san also blinked his eyes.
Akihito: “Your powers?”
Yoshino: “I have the powers to heal others. ...But there’s a problem.”
I gave a brief explanation of the drawback of my ‘healing abilities’ to Akihito-san.
Akihito: “I’m surprised. I never thought I would see a demon with such a rare gift.”
Yoshino: “You’re right. But when it comes to a fatally injured person, it takes a great deal of life force to heal him. If I take too much life force to heal Yasuchika-san, I might end up killing the other person I took it from.”
Ibuki: “And she can’t control her powers by herself.”
Ibuki-sama calmly points out my problem.
(When I hear him say that, I feel sorry for myself.)
But I can’t just overlook a problem because of that.
Yoshino: “I can’t control it, but Ibuki-sama, who is a demon, is sure to be immune to my Otherworldly powers.”
Ibuki: “...Yeah, so?”
Ibuki-sama narrowed his eyes at me suspiciously.
Yoshino: “Here’s the plan, I’ll use Akihito-san’s life force to heal Yasuchika-san.”
Ibuki: “......”
Yoshino: “But if heal him fully without leaving a scratch, Akihito-san’s life will be in danger. So when I go out of control, I want you to stop me with your powers.”
(It’s actually hard to guess exactly when to stop, but....)
Yoshino: “A smart demon like Ibuki-sama should know what I’m capable of and would save Akihito-san, no matter what, right?”
I could feel the intimidation raising as I openly challenged him.
Ibuki: “...Yeah, whatever.”
Akihito-san smiled softly, not taking into account the tingling atmosphere of Ibuki-sama.
Akihito: “I don’t mind. Half of my life for him is a small price to pay.”
Ibuki: “You’ll always be you, selfish.”
(Akihito-san is quite a man to be able to tame Ibuki-sama.)
Ibuki-sama sighed and shifted his gaze to me.
Ibuki: “Yoshino.”
He gives me a sharp look as if to see my true intentions.
Ibuki: “---Why are you doing this? You shouldn’t have any reason to do this.”
(There is no point in lying to Ibuki-sama.)
Yoshino: “When Yasuchika-san’s injury news came to you...for the first time I saw Ibuki-sama showing a slight difference from his usual self. Yasuchika-san must be a very important person for Ibuki-sama.”
Ibuki: “Oh, are taking pity on me?”
Yoshino: “...No.”
(I can’t suggest such a scary thing out of pity.)
If Akihito-san or Yasuchika-san were to lose their lives because of my powers, then......my legs ache just thinking about it.
I became honest towards Ibuki-sama as to why I am doing this.
Yoshino: “I’m just curious to know what kind of person Ibuki-sama, who knows so much about the negative side of humans, is worried about.”
Ibuki: “.......”
Yoshino: “...I wonder what kind of face Ibuki-sama will make if I help him. I want to see it.”
(I know I’m saying something bold. But I really want to save Yasuchika-san but....)
(Also with the same strong feeling, I’d like to see Ibuki-sama’s expressions that I don’t know.)
Ibuki: “...Heh.”
Then his thin lips gave out a smirk.
Ibuki: “So you want to have some fun with my heart? You’ve got some nerve.”
A faint heat flickered behind Ibuki-sama’s eyes.
Yoshino: “Can’t I?”
Ibuki: “It’s not a good idea to use a human’s life as a shield against a Demon King.”
The words that were supposed to be like a threat turned out to be much warmer.
(I’m supposed to be sacred, but I can’t see or hear anything but Ibuki-sama.)
A quiet heat had seized me and was about to engulf me.
Even so, I kept my face up because I was proud of what I said.
Ibuki: “It’s not good, but....it’s certainly a demon thing to do, to act on one’s own interests.”
(Ahh!!!)
Ibuki-sama big arm intertwined my faintly trembling hands and held them tightly.
Ibuki: “I’ll go play your game. So don’t be afraid to help me.”
Premium END // Epilogue
For the Anon, who wanted to see this.

“After The Fall” rambling thoughts -- Spoilers
Finished the latest book. Took my sweet ass time cuz it’s the only RWBY content I’m gonna get til the actual series returns. I’m mostly gonna go over characters and the shit that I care about.
For one, I think the book was overall better than the first book, but took longer to get off the ground. Let’s talk characters and teams.
Headmaster Theodore - an absolute unit and I love him. Show boater and hard headed through and through.
Rumpole - She’s pretty cool. She’s got the Midas touch that turns shit to gold. She’s the voice of reason to Theodore.
CFVY - About as expected. Minor insight into Velvet’s past with her dad. Fox is still as troll-y as the first book. Yatsu hasn’t really changed much from the first book. Coco’s insecurities are still worked on, like seeking validation from her elders like Rumpole.
SSSN - Mixed feelings. Sun’s character felt like it was being attacked but I guess it only appears that way because Sun hasn’t really interacted with Sage and Scarlet in the show as their real relationships weren’t really explored until now. Sun’s an idiot but he looks like a bigger idiot in this book. Scarlet got a lot of time in the book to explore his feelings. Most of his anger towards Sun was that he was a crap leader that always does what he wanted without much regard to his team. Sage was basically non-existent, freaking Nolan from BRNZ got more development than he did. Neptune is basically the same from the show but we get insight to his fear of water in that he couldn’t control it and nearly killed his brother with it.
CRDL - M.I.A. They either went to Vacuo or they didn’t.
ABRN - Words cannot describe how happy I am to see that ABRN is in Vacuo. The prospect that they are coming back in the future volumes excites me! Fan imagination of ABRN seems to be close to the mark. Arslan is strong, serious, no bullshit type of leader who has to look after her dumbass teammates (hence the whole mama Arslan). Reese is brash, happy-go-lucky but pretty bad at everything not related to fighting. Bolin made a brief cameo and Nadir was MIA. I swear to god if anything happens to this team like the next team I’m gonna cover, I will quit RWBY.
BRNZ - Welp. Redheads, or other shades of red, aren’t safe. Everyone on the team except Nolan was killed at Beacon. I had a theory going on that they got separated during the attack and a majority of them got killed with like 1 or 2 surviving. I was mostly right, I just wasn’t right on who the survivor(s) was (you can guess who I was rooting for if you look at my past works). Surprisingly, Nolan got some decent character development, short, but enough to make you really feel for the guy -- even though he ran away from Beacon. The details of his teams fate wasn’t covered, so take it what you will. Nobodies dead in my eyes until there’s a body (unless they get disintegrated right in front of your eyes). Would’ve liked if they touched on how he managed to make his way back to Vacuo but maybe in the future if there’s gonna be another installment. I’m still salty af that May died.
NDGO - This team got me feeling all kinds of things. Volume 3 didn’t show them at the Battle of Beacon because these THOTs just dipped right the fuck out. I thought Nebula was the nice girl of the team seeing that small interaction with team SSSN but nah, she’s a total ass hat along with the rest of NDGO. The only character that has any chance of redemption is Octavia simply because of the interactions she’s had with Velvet. If anything, Octavia is just tsudere af because she seems to tolerate Velvet enough and is willing to work with her and even expresses some concern. If anything, NDGO seems to be severely misguided like the rest of the Vacuan and Shade students which I’ll touch up on briefly at the end.
Carmine - Bertiliak - Carmine still is a really sassy a-hole and I surprisingly liked Bertiliak even in his limited time. He’s still an asshole, but he’s straightforward and blunt and was willing to help. Even if it’s either out of sympathy or convenience.
Jax - Gillian - the real baddies of the series. Jax is a manipulative, power hungry, greedy psycho which goes in line with his semblance of Mind Control. Gillian has the ability to siphon aura and augment others. She’s kinda got Jaune’s Semblence except she can siphon and transfer aura to herself or any individual she wants. These two’s heads are so far up their asses it’s kinda baffling. Gillian’s whole shpeel is that she loves oni-chan and Jax manipulates her to his plan though, granted, Gillian even stated she’d do anything for him anyways.
Other Characters - Eh, they’re just sorta filler for the whole re-initiation debacle so not much going on with em.
Vacuo - Vacuo in general is pretty xenophobic. They hate everyone that isn’t Vacuan. They despise Atlas the most and some shun the use of Dust and any technology used by the 3 other kingdoms. The scars of previous generations exploiting Vacuo actually show pretty well. Built way better here than the whole Faunus racism narrative in the actual series. Vacuans have a hard time moving past all the bad shit that happened to their nation and aren’t keen to outsiders making themselves at home or helping them. This makes sense as to why NDGO and practically no one from Shade stayed to defend Beacon. It isn’t their fight and are under no obligation to help defend the other kingdoms because of past scars.
Conclusion: Lots more world building, definitely would recommend the book to fans. Lots of characters who haven’t been seen in-awhile are coming back. Don’t expect to be blown away by the story which is mostly serviceable. Would’ve liked to see more of Sun’s past and the “Dojo” involving his cousins and also would’ve liked if they didn’t make Sun that much of a dumbass. Sage being sidelined sucked as Scarlet seemed to get quite a bit of love throughout the book. The book bouncing between a bajillion character perspectives made it pretty confusing and under developed the arcs they had going on. Even in book format, RWBY’s expansive character roster is still a crutch for writers. I still liked it overall mostly because of character interactions and the world building so I give it an 7.5/10. Those 2.5 points lost is because May is dead, but unless there’s a body, she ain’t dead to me.

Move on Dragons 12
Lloyd stared at the elder dragon with wide eyes, surprise coursing through him.
‘... I’m not even surprised anymore.’ Kai commented, breaking the silence.
‘If you were, you’d be pretty lime.’ Morro commented, shifting onto his back and batting at Kai’s wing idly.
‘One, I think you mean lame and two, hey!’ Kai grumbled then hissed, lowering his head to nip at Morro who only batted his snout away.
‘... But that can’t be right.’ Lloyd finally spoke up and the dragon version of his uncle looked at him curiously.
‘How so?’ He asked Lloyd who frowned.
‘If he were my father… I’d be able to tell right away.’ Lloyd told him surely. ‘And my father’s an Oni, not a dragon.’ He pointed out and Wu nods.
‘All very true. But only one person can confirm or deny if the dragonling is your father or not.’ The elder dragon rumbled and Lloyd nods.
Only his uncle Wu can tell them that or not… He might have to wait a bit before that happens. Though, he had to admit, the realisation made some sense. Why else would a dragon he’s never met before seem so very familiar to him? But why would he be so fussy over him? He was sure his father lacked all means to care about anything that didn’t aid him somehow. Though, it has him a little worried. He has no clue where his father is. After the battle against the Oni, he all but vanished into thin air. What if that dragon really was him? What if he got himself into a situation and they turned him into it? He wasn’t the most careful nor caring person right now, despite his focus on survival. He just hopes that if it really is him, there’s a way to turn him back.
Meanwhile, Wu was at a loss. This dragonling certainly identifies as his brother but that wasn’t possible. He knows his brother’s movements, has been keeping an eye on him through his spirit smoke. His brother was very much still an Oni, not a dragon. Yet, this dragon radiated the same aura, carried the same scent, and now that he looked, carried the same horns and eyes as he. What… What was this? How can this be? He stared at the dragon in thought, even as it only laid there, still upset about what Lloyd had said. He could clearly understand them yet even like this, Wu couldn’t understand anything about this. He huffed through his nose. He needed to meditate to be certain… And to reveal some truth to his students and nephew.
Not too far away, the dragons and their counterparts all gathered to where the dark elder dragon was resting. The ninja were reminded just how big he was as he rose up to sit, his size easily passing that of the ultra dragon. Even with the added height of their newly shifted legs, they were absolutely tiny in comparison.
‘Let us return. The sun is setting.’ He rumbled and they nodded.
‘Uh… We could use a paw…’ Lloyd says sheepishly to his father, glancing across at all the fruit they gathered nearby, the leaves they had been carrying them back with snapped.
Garmadon gave an amused huff before looking to the Zanes.
‘If you would.’ He rumbled and they fashioned a large basket of thick ice for both Lloyd and Kai to toss their finds in.
With their food secure, the dragons returned to their Ninjagan home. There, they found the winged Oni Lloyd deep in thought as Kai dozed with Morro under wing. He peered a lowly glowing amber eye open once they arrived, their collective wing beats making it impossible to sleep through. He yawned, watching as everyone filtered in, the whole lay-around-and-eat lifestyle already gotten bored to him.  He blinked once Blaze approached him, smelling guilt on him.
‘What’s up?’ Kai asked as he rose up to sit, Morro grumbling as he did.
‘... You aren’t replacing me, are you?’ Blaze asked him after a moment and Kai looked horrified.
‘’Course not!’ Was Kai’s immediate response. ‘What makes you think that? Is it something I said?’ He asked, tail flicking anxiously.
‘No.’ Blaze huffed, feeling stupid now as he glanced away. ‘I was just being an idiot.’ He rumbled low, rubbing at his front leg with the other.
Kai looked him over carefully, concerned.
‘I doubt that.’ Kai says as he got to his feet, walking up next to him and draping a wing over Blaze, both of them the same size and almost exactly identical. ‘We might look a like but there’s really only one of each of us and neither of us are replaceable. Or forgettable.’ He huffed giving him a comforting nudge Blaze returned with a soft rumbling purr.
‘Kai’s great and all but come on. He isn’t you, brother.’ Nya huffed, the light blue dragoness walking over to nudge her brother, rubbing against his side.
‘See? Our Nyas are smart. They know what they’re talking about.’ Kai rumbled as he lowered his head to his Nya, huffing once she flicked his nose.
‘How are you? Does it hurt to move around?’ The bright green dragon that was Lloyd asked as he walked over.
‘It hurts a little but I’m alright.’ Kai reassured him, nuzzling him too.
“Here comes Sssensei…” Jay hummed from where he lingered by the exit closest to the location of the ship.
The other didn’t have a chance to go look. No, Wu flew in on his own, landing on all fours, white wings open before he folded them. In this form, he looked very familiar to the other Wu in the area but noticeably smaller. He glanced over at his students with gold slitted eyes and was as mildly surprised as they look that they weren’t more surprised about this. Then gain, considering all they have been through… He began shifting, reducing in size, taking a more humane form, scanty scales on his cheeks and neck and covering the tips of his ears
“Let me guesss. There’ss sssomething you haven’t told usss.” Jay says lightly, tilted his head to the side.
“Yes.” Wu sighed, folding his hands behind his back, a familiar black shape around his neck.
“Uncle.” Lloyd says as he stepped forward, eyes on the small black dragon around his neck. “Tell me is that… My father?” He asked Wu.
“Yes…” Wu responded and Lloyd's breath caught. “But also no.”  He added, confusing him.
“I have been keeping track of my brother and he is very much still on the move. But this dragon also identifies as him. That is the confusing part.” He says as he pulled the dragon from around his neck, said dragon still sulking.
Lloyd looked at it- at him… Before he reached out and took him in hand not missing how this dragon who was also supposed to be his father, was immediately meek in his presence. It must be because he yelled at him...
“Hey…” Lloyd began with a sigh, guiltily rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. “I’m sorry I yelled at you. I know you’re probably mad at dad- er.” Lloyd paused, realising this was going to get about as confusing as their names and the other dragon names were.
“Big dad.” He settled on, glancing over at the larger Garmadon as he walked over to Kai, checking his wings. “About everything but it really wasn’t his fault and he doesn’t have it out for me. I like spending time with him so if you could give him enough of a break to not throw a fit whenever he’s close, I’d appreciate that.” He spoke quietly and the small black dragon that was somehow his father and also not looked up at him with shiny red eyes then across at the larger other worldly version of himself...
He then gave small, grumbling squeaks but then crawled his way around his favorite spot on Lloyd’s neck, rubbing his small head against his cheek and Lloyd chuckled, taking it that he forgives him and will cut Big Dad some slack.
“So what do we do now?” Lloyd asked, looking to his uncle.
“I’ll have to track down my brother and bring him here to see if we can solve this mystery.” Wu told him, stroking his beard. “That is a task easier said than done.” He added, folding his arms behind his back.
“We’ll keep an eye out on these big guys while you’re gone and if anything comes up in Ninjago City, we can take care of it in teams.” Cole grinned from his place atop his alternate self who was helping himself to the food, the lower levels of dragon already receiving their share.
“Speaking of, we should probably get in touch with Pixal. She’s been holding the fort down in New Ninjago City but she’s still waiting for an update from us.” Nya spoke up.
“I wonder if no-one isss assking why he hid it after what happened with Kai and Lloyd becausse you’re all blissssfully ignorant or if you all figured you won’t get a ssstraight ansswer.” Jay spoke up from where he was sitting cross legged near an exist, his eyes almost glowing in the diminishing light of day, making him look downright sinister.
It had Wu pausing for a moment.
‘Well now that Jay mentioned it, I am a bit curious…” Kai says from his place on his back, Garmadon- er.
Big Dad being thorough in checking him now that movement didn’t hurt too much. Wu sighed then.
“It was for my protection.” He told them and that bit was surprising. “Unlike my brother, I was born with these draconic genes already awakened. My father was fine with them, but had started to fear for my safety as humanity began to thrive. He couldn’t save the few dragos that lived in ninjago at that time but he could save me. So he bound my ability to shift and appear draconic so I would appear as an average human. I had the power to break it if I chose but if I so ever did, I would not have the ability to fully hide these traits of mine ever again as the process to do so is…”  Wu glanced at Lloyd.
“Very harmful.” He finished.
“So why not inform Lloyd of that? You could have done so without revealing yourself in this way.” Zane pointed out.
“... Simply because I did not know of his ability to change either. I had not expected him to inherit his father’s genes in this way, nor did I sense it. With my binding, I also lacked the ability to sense and communicate with my kin and Oni alike.” He explained.
“Cool but like all the times before, a lot of trouble could have been avoided if you had told us at some point.” Nya pointed out. “We should keep something totally major a secret until the last second and see how you like it.” She huffed.
‘The lesson here is to learn from your masters’ mistakes, not follow in their footsteps.’ Garmadon rumbled nearby as he sat, satisfied with his check up on Kai, deeming him a whole dragon, not missing anything nor having anything in addition to that.
Which meant he should be able to fly and use his powers without trouble though he will have to relearn how to fly with the new shift in his weight. His wings had the muscle for it so he doesn’t need to build any up. But it would still be a solid day before he would be ok with letting him fly however.
“He’s right. Considering our line of work, keeping secrets won’t be the best thing.” Zane nodded, his vice dry.
“Well, today was eventful.” Cole says with a stretch his wings and tail mimicked.
“Tell me about it.” Lloyd says dryly, stroking his father’s head with a finger. “I’m beat.” He sighs, knowing it was early still but the emotional rollercoaster that was today wore him out.
“... Ssso.” Jay spoke up, wondering if other Jay’s team had always been this oblivious, and if so, how do they managed to keep saving Ninjago on repeat. “No-one isss going to quesstion how Garmadon undersstood usss?” He asked them and they stared at him collectively, before staring up at Garmadon.
“This day just keeps getting interesting, huh?” Nya says dryly.
_____________
(God it’s been ages and I’m so sorry but I’m back! The sad times had me p badly, you know? But me aside I’m definitely gonna think up some new names for the dragons because this is gonna get confusing quick. And Big Dad is only temporary It’s too close to big daddy and that makes me cringe so hard i can see my intestines. I’m gonna try for another chapter for today while the writing gods favor me. Thanks for reading!)

Twilight: Breaking Dawn and Relationships
Tumblr media
Once again... I am sorry Gaku.
Prologue
For the love of the gods, you had just wanted to bond. Sure, you could have stuck to food but one of your comrades was finally at the legal drinking age. You just HAD to celebrate that.
So you had turned to a rather sketchy magazine and everyone said they were down to do whatever the activity was on the first page.
Eventually, the page was burned. And you shall find out why.
To give them credit, they were good sports about it and even drew up a chart.
It was the Dawn Faction against the Twilight Faction, with each member of one of the factions having to compete with their counterparts in the other group.
The pairs arranged are listed before, couple with cute, loving annotations like ‘ogre-face’, ‘furry’ and ‘choker’.
Koga and Toichiro
Kuya and Shizuki
Ginnojo and Kuro
Aoi and Oji
Yura and Gaku
MC as the regulator
Chaos and Pain
Tumblr media
Koga Kitamikado
Ah, the budding entrepreneur, making great strides in the scary new world thanks to his smart decisions.
A truly educated and learned person.
So of course, he wisely chose… to do a dare.
Mad man.
Even madder, he knew it was Toichiro’s turn.
He couldn’t help it, he liked things to be unpredictable. All kitsunes were masters of that.
Also, it was he who started this whole game.
“Ok, I dare you… to watch.”
“... To watch?”
“Yes. For five minutes specifically.”
“Watch MC make out with Kuya.”
Toichiro lost half of his tail with a swift swing of a sword and his fur was all ruffled from that blast of wind before MC could stop them.
So of course, MC had to do the smart thing.
“Fine, I will. Aoi, prepare.”
“WHAT?!”
Kuya was becoming unusually pale and at least now we know Koga is a red oni.
At least Koga’s exclamation was muffled as MC shoved a piece of paper to his face.
It was only when Koga became cross-eyed did he realize that it was one of Aoi’s pieces... specifically a chibi sketch of Kuya sleeping on a tree branch.
And MC was... aggressively kissing the paper.
The pressure of her lips still felt even through the paper on Koga’s face.
Damn, it could have been on fire.
The paper and his face.
Toichiro lets it go because everyone is getting uncomfortable with all the action happening and, OMG MC are you trying to slip in your tongue?
DID KOGA JUST TEAR THE PAPER WITH HIS TEETH?!
Aoi is sad that one of his hand-drawn chibis is now in bits and pieces.
At least it was only Kuya.
Kuya
To be fair, he thought he was safe because the one asking was Shizuki.
What he didn’t know was that not only was Shizuki ordered to, the snow spirit had imbibed in some alcohol.
“Kuya, I want you to write…”
“Why did you ask for the impossible?”
As Shizuki waved away the Satori Seer, Kuya was unusually the first to offer comfort. What was usual was the ‘wisdom’ it possessed,
“It's OK Aoi, I have a story. It's about an American treasurer who got lost in history until his wife who he cheated on…”
“Here is the catch. I want you to write… a lemon on your LEAST favourite ayakashi that you’ve recently met with your most favourite person here.”
“Hmm… so Kagemaru and MC.”
“What the hell, Kuya?”
‘L’ is for Loser Kagemaru.
‘E’ is for Every time MC beats him, I smile.
‘M’ is for Masochist because Kagemaru is weak for strong girls.
‘O’ is for when Other Onmyoji Boy drags away his contract.
‘N’ is for Not gonna lie, it was beautiful.
Unlike Toichiro though, Shizuki doesn’t want to give up without a fight.
So poor Kuya gets trapped in a snow blanket until the kitsune and the rest of the Twilight gang restrains the mad snow spirit.
Oh well, at least he can sleep.
After Koga finishes digging him out of there.
Ginnojo
By now, the wise grandpa had witnessed the dangers of taking on dares, unlike SOME people.
“I’ll take the truth.”
“Gin-Gin, this isn’t you pursuing truth and justice.”
“I know and frankly, with the way things are going, maybe not now. Corruption runs too deep.”
I mean... he’s not wrong. Kuro slightly pouts at having been seen through.
“Ok, now tell me what part of MC do you think you can touch without blushing?”
...
Nevermind, he would rather live a lie.
It’s just that Kuro, ever-the-summer-child is great at giving the purest thing in the world.
Puppy-dog eyes.
There is no way he can lie now so, ironically with his face practically beet-red, confesses,
“Her kimono. Specifically the sleeve.”
“Hehe, so that’s what you...”
“Specifically the third thread.”
“Weird flex but ok...”
“Specifically the third thread’s middle and it has to be the blue one.”
Again, the Twilight sect has to show mercy to their elderly citizens.
MC offers him her sleeve, even slightly pulling out the thread and now Ginnojo can smile, albeit bashfully.
Aoi
He stares at Oji like an office camera.
What was the lesser of two evils? Truth, and who knows what Oji might ask. Dare, and…well…he could only imagine what his employer’s mind could think, but at least he knew Oji wouldn't propose anything life-threatening.
Just utterly mortifying like that one time Oji had dropped him off at school...
“Hehe, don’t worry, I won’t ask you to do anything extreme.”
“I’d rather you ask anything extreme. Truth.”
For some reason, Oji smirked, as if that was the right choice for his plan and the wrong one for Aoi’s last shred of dignity.
“Ok, gimme a second...”
Everybody freaked out when Oji decided to let the eye in the middle of his forehead appear and bulge out.
“It’s my lie-detecting eye.”
Yes, everyone. He has one. Not that he thinks his own son would lie.
Aoi is tempted to punch it away but he couldn’t let the rest of his comrades down after all they’ve done.
“Is there something you've seen in a steamy movie that you'd like to try?”
Great, and now it would look bad if he couldn’t name any or chose the wrong one to highlight.
So like the pure baby virgin that he is, announces,
“The ribbons.”
MC tries giving him her hair ribbon but he smacks it away with the brightest blush she has ever seen on his face.
Smacks the eye as well that just turns green to show that he is telling the truth.
Yura
“My wise brother will never do such foolish acts like choosing...”
“I pick truth!”
... Gaku is tired. He already knows how kinky his brother is.
Don’t ask me how he knows.
Anyways, Gaku has to think for a moment. He doesn’t want to put his brother in a bad light but he still has to keep the risque nature of the game.
So, he finally settles for asking, “Ever put something weird in your body?”
There, the most ambiguous question that ANYONE could take an innocent perspective on...
“Why, I once indulge in cream whipped to fluffy peaks with Sir Kuya. We poured it over our chests...”
Kuya tries to protest in his frozen chamber but it’s too late.
“And made-believed that we were Oji’s pecs he thinks he can expose but truthfully fails.”
Now, to Yura’s horror, Kuya is further pressed against the floor and Koga is still struggling to dig him out.
Tumblr media
Interlude
“We’re killing them.” announced the Dawn faction.
MC has officially died and wonders about calling Akiyasu up just so that her Ayakashi would fight together against him instead of each other.
Even Kagemaru somehow offers her his commiserations as Yuzuru the beautiful geisha who had only arrived to deliver some beer.
Stumbles into this mess and stumbles out.
And now, it’s time for the Twilight gang.
Tumblr media
Toichiro Yuri
Sweet revenge for Koga.
“I want you to kiss Shizuki DIRECTLY, LIPS TO LIPS.”
At first, he was fine. It was just making out. Sure, he might vomit into his valet’s mouth but at least that could be cleaned up.
Plus, at least Shizuki should be a good kisser with all the ladies he has charmed into his life.
... Until Toichiro had realized.
“Why... is the rest of the kitsune clan here?”
Many small foxes were loping in their direction, some already in their more humanoid form. All had one goal.
“GREETINGS MASTER TOICHIRO!”
“Sir Koga said that there was a huge bash with inari sushi!”
As Koga tosses a few fried tofu pieces at the rabid crowd, Toichiro’s eyes turned briefly feral.
“... I hate you. When this is over, I’ll- mmph!”
Shizuki decides to land a big wet one on him.
Today was the day Toichiro learnt that no, Shizuki was a bad kisser. drunk at least.
There was an unexpected twist when one of the clan members cried with joy.
“FINALLY! MY SHIP HAS SET SAIL!”
Shizuki
Can we just marvel at the fact he is actually playing though for just a second?
We all know the other stoic man Ginnojo is actually curious about new games.
But to get Shizuki to play instead of just serving some drinks and cordials?
That is no ordinary accomplishment.
And all we have to thank for this marvellous sight is... alcohol.
Oji-san, why?
“Tell us how you orgasm.”
Kuya, why?
Except... Shizuki doesn’t bat an eyelid. In fact, he even throws a wolfish grin in.
“Only before my girl because she is too good.”
“But I make sure hers comes harder.”
“And she will scream.”
...
Kuya lost and just burrows himself into the snow hole Koga had spent hours digging.
Oji
At this point, Aoi is becoming like the past self you had only seen once.
An absolute discipline master.
Oji thinks he can get away because Aoi is way too shy to ask him to do anything THAT scandalous.
For some with 100 eyes, the old man sure is blind.
With a smirk and almost evil, ominous tendrils of his bad aura flooding the room, he asks Oji,
“Well, I think you must have been a verrry bad boy in school.”
For the next round, Aoi makes Oji have a time out on someone’s lap.
Specifically Shizuki.
“You are so grounded after this.”
“Don’t you mean, time out, Mister?”
Aoi has no regrets.... especially since he managed to sketch it, caricature style.
Kuro
“I’m going to go with truth because I have a feeling the dare is the opposite of touching ironically.”
Wise choice, Kuro.
The problem is... he’s forgetting that Ginnojo was a soldier.
For a major force in the Edo period.
And he has seen Aoi grilling everyone while at the Milk Hall.
If he doesn’t know what questions will break a person, I don’t know what to say.
“So... Kuro, does your Ayakashi species know how to lap dance? If not, what are their attractive features?”
“Oh, Gin-Gin. Why did you go to the dark side?”
“Because you hate the dark. Also, I took out something from the military.”
He darted out of the room, returning with a fairly large device.
Ginnojo set it up directly in front of Kuro, tapping a microphone positioned in front of him. Several lights on the device blinked, and a paper readout steadily fed out a long sheet of steady wavy lines.
“This is a lie detector, the less freaky version. I’ve got Gaku making one based on your heart rate.”
Ok, I don’t think the lie detector was invented by then but let’s go along with it, ok?
“Erm... not really. I guess... we hug a lot?”
The lie detector machine broke. Now nobody knows.
Until 1921.
Gaku
Dare because there is obviously something he can FINALLY do for his brother.
Picking truth would have been anti-climatic because the twins know each other too well.
“I want a customized sex toy that vibrates.”
Specifically to the theme song of the game.
Gaku decides at that very moment to never let Yura near his notes ever again.
Because now he has to refer to his original blueprints... except he doesn’t actually have a notebook on this.
FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.
Actually has to sketch it out.
He refuses to look at the anatomical books he has even though there is literally a shelf dedicated for them.
So... yes, he’s drawing based on what he’s seen.
“So, are you basing it off yours because it’s awfully average...”
“OF COURSE A DICK LIKE YOU WOULD KNOW!”
Epilogue
Aoi has decided he is going to stay away from alcohol.
MC didn’t even moderate the game. She just watched the chaos unfold. And the article burn.

So, let’s go through each of the BBTAG fights in the 4 o.g. story modes and see which ones are necessary for character stuff. I may not want to use a fight if there is another fight with the same characters I want to interact but doesn’t have a dumb joke assigned to it.
Now I know Tag Team means tag-in-tag-out stuff, but I am just going to look at these fights as two on two fights with a designated opponent for each fighter.
Episode Blazblue
Ragna and Rachel vs Waldstein and Linne: Initial fight so kind of necessary. Linne and Rachel having some banter, maybe Rachel being able to find out about Linne’s curse, meanwhile, you got Wald tossing around Ragna before Ragna goes Grim Reaper on his ass.
Ragna and Gordeau vs Ruby and Blake: 1. I like Ragna and Gordeau’s interaction, 2. Have members of RWBY learn of Gordeau and Ragna’s Soul Stealing Powers and 3. Really you can switch up who fights who, because with Ragna vs Ruby and Gordeau vs Blake you got similar color schemes, but the other way with Ragna vs Blake and Gordeau vs Ruby you got actual Sword vs Sword and Scythe vs Scythe.
Ragna and Chie vs Hakumen and Carmine: Obviously Ragna has to fight Hakumen and Chie against Carmine b/c Hakumen would CRUSH Chie, plus this is where Ragna could earn some point with the I.T. by helping Chie. Of course, since this is post-CS/Pre-CP Ragna he’s a bit more gruff, blunt and not as nice with it, but he’s still helping kind of. Kind of like how Shinjiro was with Minato (yes I use that name STFU), Yukari, and Junpei when they were about to get mugged in P3.
Ragna and Waldstein vs Kanji and Azrael: Like I said, ignoring this one. Dumb joke, no good interactions, and I prefer Ragna and Kanji’s interactions in Episode P4A.
Ragna and Nu-13 vs Aigis and Vatista: As much as I don’t want Ragna to suffer this, this is the only way for him to have any contact with Aigis, the Shadow Operative, so she can report it back to Mitsuru when this is all over.
Ragna and Noel vs Hyde and Linne: This meet up is necessary since this is where they talk about plot stuff, Ragna’s hostility here is understandable considering everyone before his was all like “LET’S FIGHT!” without using any brain cells. While it starts out hostile they do become more amicable over the course of the conversation.
Side note: I do like it when Ragna says Observer, of course either meaning an overseer or the Blazblue term as one who makes things reality by acknowledging them, and Linne sees the term as “Supervisor”. It’s just stuff like that in crossovers that I like, the clashing terminology and stuff.
Ragna and Hazama vs Weiss and Orie: Weiss and Orie becoming aware of Ragna’s bounty, thus allowing some tensions during later meet ups. Although IDK how this will affect Hazama trying to act all friendly with the other worlds when Weiss and Orie saw him all chumy with Ragna, plus if they later see both Ragna and Hazama activating their Blazblues, with the similar activation codes, and they learn that Hazama/Terumi made the Azure Grimoire, with Ragna’s being a prototype in a way. That might not work out for him.
I’m skipping the Es fights since IDK if I’d even add Es in this.
Episode P4A (most of these I feel like should be kept since this is the only fight where almost the entire faction all joins up)
Yu and Yosuke vs Gordeau and Carmine: initial battle, so necessary. Could be someone different, since these itneractions don’t really matter.
Yu and Chie vs Tager and Makoto: Electric vs Electric and fist vs foot, since I’m trying not to flanderize them, Makoto and Chie won’t immediatly be all “KUNG FU *WATCHYA*!” so I’d tone that down a bit considering the situation.
Yu and Yukiko vs Hakumen and Rachel: Like I said before, I’d like to see how Hakumen, and maybe Rachel, reacts to the Wild Card. Since in Arena, Yu’s Wild Card Power of Friendship aura made Elizabeth, aka the one who oneshots Erebus (the manifestation of mankind’s desire for Death) every other month, step back. So imagine how Hakumen, mr. Power of Order/killer of the Black Beast would react to that.
Yu and Chie vs Jubei and Platinum: Kind of wish Kanji was here since this is his intro in the episode, that and Platinum needs to get smacked, but making it a girl on girl fight is fine I guess. Then you have maybe Jubei’s reaction to the Wild Card and Yu’s truth powers (I wonder if the Orb of Sight could reveal Terumi’s true form like Jubei’s Sekigan?)
.....wait is Kanji just not playable b/c he was DLC at the time, okay then screw that noise.
Yu and Yosuke vs Linne and Orie: Okay Naoto has no excuse for not fighting here like Kanji excpet for maybe beign DLC at the time, so Yu and Naoto vs Linne and Orie. Come on seeing Orie’s Thanatos clash with a Persona would be cool. Or at the very least the Persona characters assuming she has a Persona, it wouldn’t be a stretch for them.
Yu and Ragna vs Weiss and Ruby: Should I keep this in? Since it is a moment where people call Ruby and Weiss idiots for blindly trusting System inspite of being the one who summoned them. Plus a lot fo stupid lines from Ruby. The ony thing this does is give Ragna a chance to prove himself to the I.T.
Ignoring Es fights like I said but I do want to keep the offscreen fight of Ragna and Kanii vs Hakumen and Rachel (Kanji’s lighting resistance against Rachel, HA!). Also they were playing Naoto’s theme from the Arena games at the time, so that was kind of off for me.
Episode Under Night In-Birth (half of these is just Hyde’s “Must Save The Girl” tendencies coming in)
Hyde and Waldstein vs Rachel and Naoto: No good interactiosn outside fo seeing how Hde and Wald fight as a team, like maybe Wald pulling a fastball special with Hyde.
Hyde and Ruby vs Yosuke and Chie: Stupid reason to start with Hyde thinking they were bullying Ruby when it was a mistake, and well all know that even if Ruby is like a year or two younger tha Hyde she’d kick his ass. But I know people want to have Ruby be amazed at the Insulator, but I won’t have her be all “YOU HAVE COOL WEAPONS! LET’S FIGHT!” Like I wanted RUby to have more of a personality, but this is too much.
Kind of a side note, but when Ruby brought up weapons with Jaune in Volume 1, she wasn’t all in his face about it immediately, they were apparently talking for a while before bring it up naturaly in a conversation. It felt more....real, to me.
Hyde and Gordeau vs Makoto and Blake: Only here for the Makoto and Blake interactions.
Hyde and Weiss vs Azrael and Carmine: no one here should be fighting with, against, or near Azrael. This is just here for Hyde to play knight in shining armor to Weiss. You Hyde/Ruby shippers might want this so he can earn points with Ruby for protecting her BFF.
Hyde and Yukiko vs Platinum and Noel. More bad cooking jokes, that all of a sudden make Yukiko good, but I think that’s just to make Noel the focus of the joke since this is BLAZBLUE Cross Tag Battle. More Hyde saving the girl in a way, but I’m slightly more for it since Platinum suffers. And hey, System said the losing TEAM had to eat it, so maybe Noel eating her own food can result in her getting better.
I mean seriously, Yukiko apparently got better at the end of her Social Link in Persona 4 (If I recall) and I THINK that there was one line about Fuuka improving in Arena or something (someone please help me on that, I know she gets better in P3P as part of her SL there, but I really don’t think one should cook, even if they like it, if they suck at it), taking that away from them is kind of insulting.
Hyde and Yu vs Jubei and Jin: Insulator vs Musashi (the swords that cut through anything) and Power of Friendship vs Power of Order. I got asked a while ago on what would happen if Isnulator and Musashi clashed and this would be a good chance to explore that. Plus Jubei seeing both the Wild Card and the Insulator would be interesting.
Also, Jubei with Jin goes with Blazblue canon, as at this point (between Cs and CP) Jubei is training Jin on the Power of Order).
Ignoring Es fight
Episode RWBY (this’ll be hard b/c I am TRYING to tone back the anime bullshit with RWBY)
Ruby and Weiss vs Noel and Makoto: System didn’t intervene here and they were just like “We have to fight over the Keystone”, considering RWBY’s themes of unity and such you’d think they’d try and be amicable, before System jumps in. Weiss could even TRY and be civil with the apparent Faunus in front fo them dressed rdiduclously (seriously IDK who else in RWBY during Vol 1-3 wears shit like Makoto who, as Kokonoe said in one of the HMPK segements “Is a strong breeze or a cough away from a major wardrobe malfunction”).
But still Weiss and Makoto on the front with Ruby and Noel as long range support wiht their guns.
I do think Weiss saying they should split up is dumb though.
Ruby and Hazama vs Hyde and Carmine: Alowing Hazama to get some connection with Ruby so he has someone to vouch for him at Beacon when/if he tries something there.
Ruby and Rachel vs Vatista and Platinum: Rachel landed on Ruby, gave her snark, because Platinum and Vatista were trying to ask her questions about the situation, Ruby is TRYING to be cool-headed and ask questions, but Rachel is being a butt and forms a tag team with Ruby just to shut Vatista and Platinum up. This could be used as a way to make Rachel seem untrustworthy.
side note, Vatista asks if she “should switch to a beefy, macho, muchle-type body...” So....can Vatista shapeshift? I mean we know she had an older looking form before she gave up one of her wings to give the Insulator to Kuon in UNI’s backstory. SO does that mean she doesn’t have to be a loli and maybe this form is just o conserve energy or something?
Ruby and Waldstein vs Hakumen and Tager: Hakumen attacks Ruby and Tager tries to intervene, Hakumen says smething interesting “This world may be jeopardized if elements from conflicting worlds interact” in this case Ruby and the keysone.
And like....seithr, ars magus, personas, EXS, and Dust and aura coliding WON’T cause things to fuck up? Especially Hakumen, who has kind of a messed up existence at the moment.
and whe Ruby brings up what Rachel told her, Hakumen gets all on the offense, once again maing Rachel seem untrustworthy. Or at the very least not willing to be cooperative.
Hakumen begins to do his thing but Wald pulls a Hyde and comes in to scold them for attacking a little girl.
I would like to see Hakumen sense the Silver Eye power lying dormant in Ruby, and then lay down some cryptic words here though.
Like comparing the Silver Eyes to the Power of Order is interesting b/c the SIlver Eyes work with love and protection, unlike the Power of Order which is mostly used as a weapon.
Ruby and Weiss vs Gordeau and Orie: scythe and scythe vs rapier and rapier.
1, Orie blowing her cover by saying she is with Licht Kreis, although given the circumstances I doubt that matters. Also she kind of fights on Hyde’s behalf for Ruby getting Hyde’s keystone, and speaking up when she heard his name.
2, Weiss being all too eagar to fight, IDK if this would be in character for canon Weiss.
3. Orie mentioned a restriction. Didn’t System just say there was a punishment? Is it both?
4. Once again Weiss being all too eager to mock and fight. But maybe she is in a bad mood because she has also been having to deal with neandertha;s who don’t care about the situation and are just like “FUCK YEAH, FIGHTING!”
5. Now I may not be too up to date on UNI’s Chornicle Mode, but I don’t know if Orie being THIS against working with Amneisa would be what she would be like.
6. Gordeau is being amicable, but him saying “hate the monk, not his robes”, makes it sound like he is still a member of Amnesia. But if I recall, he quit. Does him working for them as a mercenary count?
7. Orie saying she is devoted to her mission with her ego being secondary should be kept in mind when characters want to be major assholes and make demands of people instead of being nice.
Okay I’m done with that
Ruby and Es vs Yosuke and Yukiko: with that stupid Ninja and Geisha comment, plus I already said I was ignoring Es.....yeah I’m going to skip this and the next one, even though by that logic Ragna won’t meet Ruby. I can fidn some way for this to work, sionce Ragna saving Ruby gets him points with Yang and the RWBY characters.
Alright that seems to be all. Blake got a few fights in but no Yang. What fight would you guys want to see her in that I could add onto here?

Remember that Time I said I would Show You that mock trope page I made?
Here it is.
IT’S ALL FOR FUN! And I do include references to actual RP’s, so you might find yourself in here lol!
Might as well post it here too for mobile purposes.
Kallion:
A Saiyan time patroller from Planet Vegeta.
Action Survivor: Just barely survived Planet Vegeta’s destruction due to being marooned on another planet.
Survivors Guilt: Big time, though she tends to play it off, if not outright denying that she has it. Kallion has…issues about the circumstances of her survival.
Innocent Blue Eyes: Compared to the more common dark eyes of other Saiyans, emphasizing her gentle nature.
Fish Out Of Temporal Water: Was born several years before Planet Vegeta’s destruction, but is now living in Conton City nearly a century later. Though she’s happy now, her early days at the time patrol made for a difficult adjustment.
Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Gentle girl to Giblet’s Brooding Boy.
Involuntary Shapeshifting: As any Saiyan who still has their tail, one look at the full moon will have her turning into a Great Ape in no time.
My Species Doth Protest Too Much: Downplayed, and largely averted. Kallion points out that while she was always far more gentle than what was typically expected of Saiyans, and she lacked that ruthless killer instinct, she is still a battle-crazed idiot. On the other hand, she theorizes that her experiences weren’t all that unique to begin with. I.e: Gine and Tarble.
All Girls Want Bad Boys: Between Giblet and, yes, technically Trunks as well, Kallion seems to have a type. The real kicker is that she doesn’t escape this platonically either– Bardock is a hell of a father figure to have. She even lampshades this herself; “How come I only ever get attached to emotionally constipated men?”
Scars are Forever: A prominent one on her left cheek. It’s unknown exactly what the circumstances were, but she assumed she got it while a Great Ape. Countless others are scattered all over her body as well.
Intergenerational Friendship: With Bardock, her mentor. He also happened to be her father’s best friend.
Proud Warrior Race Guy: Saiyan!
Sole Survivor: Of her crew, who left her behind and returned to planet Vegeta on Frieza’s orders. Needless to say, she was lucky to be abandoned.
Tyke Bomb: Typical of most Saiyan children.
Golden Super Power Mode: Super Saiyan, naturally
Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: It’s in the job description.
Dating Catwoman: Her and Giblet.
Action Mom: In the future, having kids doesn’t slow her down at all.
Mama Bear: Becomes fiercely protective of her baby boy Keel, a trait which only continues to grow in the future.
All-Loving Hero: Willing to give most people and creatures alike the benefit of the doubt….save for Frieza, Mira, Cell, Towa…obvious villains aside. Also loves animals.
Bad Powers, Good People: Being a Saiyan, she has a natural unlimited potential for battle and power. Along with the added layer of being able to turn into a vicious giant ape. Yet, she’s kind and mellow.
She’s Got Legs: Muscular and flexible.
Nice Girl: In spite of being a full blooded Saiyan of the PTO age, she’s kind hearted and easy going. Kallion, in general, has a difficult time hurting people unless pushed. Granted, she can be surprisingly short tempered.
The Apprentice: To Chronoa, as well as Bardock, and eventually Shallot.
Archenemy: Considers hers to be Towa, Frieza, and Suuja.
Badass Adorable: 5ft of Saiyan rage.
Bare Your Midriff: Typically in her casual attire.
Berserk Button: Good hearted as she may be, Kallion is still a short tempered Saiyan. What gets her is usually picking at her insecurities, insulting Chronoa or Trunks, making even the slightest threat toward her children, or dragging innocent people into conflicts.
Big Eater: Saiyan!
Blood Knight: Again, Saiyan!
Came Back Strong: As with every Saiyan, coming back from the brink of death brings with it a hefty power-up known as a zenkai boost.
11th-Hour Ranger: Her job as an elite time patroller.
Glass Cannon
Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Being all of 5ft, she’s this standing next to most of the men she knows. Special mention goes to Arugla, Taeta, Scaro, Giblet, Bardock, Trunks…
Lightning Bruiser: Speed is her greatest advantage due to her size.
Platonic Life-Partners: With Arugla, Taeta, Scaro, and debatably Trunks.
UST: With Trunks. There’s an obvious attraction, and she trusts him more than anyone.
Slap Slap Kiss: However, her and Giblet….
Opposites Attract: Her and Giblet again.
Slasher Smile: Often right before a fight.
Tranquil Fury: The first time she went Super Saiyan.
Token Good Teammate: Didn’t end well…kind of.
Took a Level in Badass: Gained a significant amount of confidence during her time in Conton City.
Wild Child: From age 6 to 12, after being marooned on a swampy planet by her old crew. When it became obvious that no one else was left to come get her, she fended for herself.
Blue is Heroic: Blue eyes, blue clothing, blue armor…
Defends Against Their Own Kind: Technically, whenever she’s fighting against a rogue saiyan in history.
Determinator: Can get to wonderfully self destructive levels.
Pregnant Badass: Hell, she’s confused as to why she’s apparently supposed to stop fighting after finding out she’s pregnant with Keel.
Socially Awkward Hero: Spending your formative years as a feral child will do that to a girl.
Idiot Hero: Socially awkward, romantically oblivious, no sense of self preservation? Yeah.
Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: So, your crew abandons you to die. Then THEY end up dying, you live and get stronger, and end of recruited by an elite time force where you get to work with the greatest heroes in history. Thanks, old crew!
Recruited From The Gutter: Found as a wild 12 year old girl living on a backwater planet with little intelligent life besides herself.
Undying Loyalty/I Owe You My Life: To Chronoa, Trunks, and the Time Patrol. Kallion is incredibly grateful for the second chance they gave her.
Wacky Parent, Serious Child: The wacky parent to the much more serious minded Keel.
Because You Were Nice To Me: What sparks Giblet’s attraction to her, along with the fact that she was never afraid of him. This trope is also the initial reason for her crush on Trunks.
Villainous Crush: Again, Giblet.
First Kiss: Giblet again!
Friend to All Children: Even before having her own, she had a soft spot for children and got along with them well.
Child From the Future: Keel, her equivalent of the Toki Toki City/XV1 Hero. Not that she initially knows.
Back-To-Back Badass: With Arugla, Taeta, and Trunks typically.
Desperately Craves Affection: Downplayed, but still there.
The Power of Friendship: Comes with the territory
Remember That You Trust Me
All Of The Other Reindeer
Motor Mouth: Usually when she’s nervous or meeting someone new.
Lady of War: It’s in the blood, after all.
Four-Temperament Ensemble: Sanguine
Beware the Nice Ones
Like A Daughter To Me: Bardock refers to her like this almost word for word.
Freudian Trio: The Id
Innocent Fanservice Girl: Has no qualms with people seeing her naked, and doesn’t understand why others would be offended by her being nude in her own home or bathroom.
Attack! Attack! Attack!
Wide-Eyed Idealist: To a point.
Too Hungry To Be Polite
Stupid Good: Hooooooo boy.
The Pollyanna
Paralyzing Fear of Sexuality: Due to growing up alone, her knowledge of sex and things related to it is slim to none. As a result, actually experiencing those feelings causes her to momentarily freeze and panic. She gets better.
Oblivious to Love: Related to the above. Romantic gestures tend to fly over her head unless it’s spelled out.
Insecure Love Interest: Which directly feeds into the above two examples.
Battle Aura: Yellow or purple.
Strong Family Resemblance: Her mother’s spitting image. In teen Keel’s timeline, she has a daughter of her own who looks just like her as well.
Stepford Smiler: Type 1: “The character seems to be happy, cheerful, is always smiling, and seems to live a perfect life - but inside they are melancholic, if not outright depressed.”
Sink-or-Swim Mentor: Bardock, who has no problem beating her into the dirt during their very first training session.
Verbal Tic: Has a habit of ending sentences with “yeah?” and “ya know?”, as well as starting with common sentence fillers like “well,” or “uh”. Ya know?
Obfuscating Stupidity: Kallion is a weird case. While she’s uneducated and misses innuendo, she can be very intuitive. There’s also her habit of dodging uncomfortable questions by acting like she doesn’t understand. To quote Mariko; “Sometimes I wonder if you play dumb, or…”
Did you think I can’t feel?: Rips into Giblet with this almost word for word after he still accuses her of using and manipulating him for the Time Patrol.
Dead Guy Junior: Not her, but her son is named for the only member of her crew who was kind to her– and died as a result.
Book Dumb: She is very much uneducated, due to her circumstances. Learning to read was never a priority until she was 12.
Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Android 22's blue, but the blue to Mariko's red.
(To be added on continually whenever I think of another or as I see fit! FOR FUN!)

The Little Peach - Chapter 9
Notes: As always, big thanks to my amazing editor, Drucilla!
Not much to say here, save for pepping some foreshadowing, some more obvious than others. We're really deep in "making thus up as I go along" territory, folks. Cross your fingers and wish me luck.
Summary: Mickey takes on the same path as his father once did, but finds new shadows waiting for him.
“Guards?” Everyone repeated – save for Panchito, who was suffering from another one of Maurice's wake-up specials – after Mickey had finished his request, each person giving the word their own level of shock. As such -
“Guards?” Princess Minnie's fan was being used to hide her eager smile, recalling that Sir Sakura and his own love interest had met by him being her bodyguard.
“Guards?” Clarabelle could guess what Minnie was thinking in seconds and panicked, trying to think of how to put a stop to her illicit daydreaming.
“Guards?” Pete was incredulous – now he had even more obstacles in his way!
“Guards?” Goofy tilted his head, quietly curious as to why Mickey wanted to do it all of a sudden.
“Guards?” Jose was thoroughly amused, and saw endless potential for hilarity and entertainment out this arrangement.
“Guards?” Marsupilami could sense that for once, he and Maurice would have to do some actual work in their lives, and he couldn't say he really cared for it.
“Guards?” Panchito finally said, managing to stay awake so long as he didn't look at Jose for more than three seconds, and he'd already last track of what was going on.
Minnie snapped her fan shut, instantly coming to a decision. “Your desire to protect your people, and your princess, is very noble. I have given your request a great deal of thought-”
“It's been six seconds,” Clarabelle hissed.
“-and it is with great honor and privilege that I-”
“Deny your request!” Clarabelle cut in again, snatching the fan out of Minnie's hand. “Absolutely not, no, no, no! Princess, I ask for so little, but this is sheer common sense! Look at him! Sure, maybe his friends could be of use – except for that rooster that keeps fainting, no offense-”
“None taken!” Four seconds, THUD.
“- But how could someone that small protect anybody?”
Hearing that stung, even if it was the truth, but Mickey didn't want to give up again. He had just barely pulled himself out of misery and self-loathing by the memory of his honored father, and if he sunk back down he wasn't sure he could climb out of it ever again. So if his father “saved” him once, perhaps he could do it again. “I wish to follow in my father's footsteps! The truth is, Princess...my father once served your own! I am the son of Donald Duck and Daisy Duck!”
Jose suddenly straightened up, lifting up his helmet to get a better look at Mickey. “Donald Duck! Sir Donald, are you speaking the truth? The one and only noble and righteous Donald?”
Minnie slid a spare fan out of her sleeve, much to Clarabelle's frustration, and resumed her mysterious, stony aura by opening it front of her mouth again. “I take it you know of him, Sir Jose?”
“Know of him!” Jose slapped a hand to his chest, looking more serious than anyone in the room knew he was capable of being. “Why, before you were born, lovely Princess, I proudly served alongside him!  He and I took down many fierce Oni, and Sir Donald was the strongest, mightiest, and dare I say handsomest samurai that has ever served the royal family! There were Oni who ran from the palace doors at the mere mention of his name! To think we would be in the presence of his own son, we are more than honored, we are blessed by the gods!” Yet when he stopped his passionate speech and saw Mickey again, he had to admit there might been some extra hype. Mostly because as far as he knew about genetics, Duck + Duck did not = Mouse. “Um... not much of a family resemblance, is there?”
“I know I'm adopted.”
“Oh, good, because this would have been extremely awkward otherwise.” With that, he resumed all the passion and flare he had been displaying seconds ago. “Dear Princess! Though he may be small in stature, there is no way anyone who lived under the roof of Sir Donald is anything less than exemplary! Why, I bet Sir Donald taught him ways to fight that take ready advantage of his size! All that he has learned must have been passed down to the next generation!”
Only now did Mickey see a tiny flaw in his plan, and he cleared his throat, eyes shifting about as he spoke timidly. “Ah, well, about that-”
“If Sir Jose says it is true,” Minnie unknowingly interrupted, not hearing Mickey's attempt at a confession. “Then it must be so. I will hear no further argument.” Nor would she hear Clarabelle snapping the fan in her hands in sheer frustration. “Starting today, Mickey – Sir Mickey – and his allies will join the guardsmen, protecting the capital and the palace. Sir Goofy, get them proper armor and blades as soon as they can be acquired.”
Goofy bowed low, always happy to make new friends, and so he was quite pleased by all that had happened. “Yes, Princess.”
“Sir Jose, begin rearranging the shifts. I want at least two men on every patrol, no one is to be alone when they're on the job.”
Jose also bowed deeply but his had extra flourish. “Yes, Princess.”
“And Sir Pete, you will train them in our ways, and show them everything they need to know – a top-to-bottom layout of the capital and of the palace.”
“Aw, why me?” Pete groaned, slouching in his reluctance. “I have to take all these chumps under my wing? A dog, a gorilla, some weird tail-monkey, a fainting rooster-”
“I'm up, I'm up!”
“And a little boy who I could crush in the palm of my hand? What did I ever do to you?”
Mickey thought Minnie's eyes were very pretty, and didn't know why his friends had insisted that the Princess was a cold-hearted force to be reckoned with – until this point. Minnie's eyes narrowed slowly, and the icy chill stabbing from her deep blues was enough to make Mickey feel like he had traveled to the arctic. He could even feel Pluto starting to shiver underneath him. “I am giving them to you because you are one of my most trusted guards, and if you wish to remain that way, you will take this order as an honor, not a punishment. After all the good faith you've earned with me, you wish to throw it away so easily?”
Pete didn't really answer, although he did grumble audibly, fingers clenching and unclenching as if he was fighting off a million and one impulses in the back of his head. The winter storm between felt as if it could last a thousand ages, were it not for Goofy coming over to slap Pluto on the back, since Mickey was too small for him to hit without injury. “Oh, Pete's a great choice to have! You guys will be A-O-K under his eye, I know it!” Goofy wasn't exactly fond of Pete, but he hated conflict much more. “Why, out of all of us, I'd say he's the very best!”
Pluto sat on his haunches so Mickey could try to look Goofy better in the eye. “How so? What makes him better than you or Jose or anyone else?”
“Why, we saw him take on five Oni at one time!” Goofy spread out his hand, counting on each finger. “The first day he came to the capital, Jose and I were guardin' the entrance, and then all of a sudden these Oni came straight out of nowhere! They were tearin' up the place and givin' us a real tough time!”
Pete was failing not to smile smugly, crossing his arms as his ego inflated. Jose caught on, and began to gesture out the fight with minimal movement. “What my companion says is true! He took down all five of them, and sent them running back home to their mamas! To this day, I still don't quite know how he did it, but it was done. He was hired right on the spot! Why, he's become so fearsome to the Oni since then, not one of them as ever shown up in the capitol!”
There was something off about this story, yet Mickey couldn't quite put his finger on it. He wasn't eager to find any lies anyway – Pete was his best shot at his real goal. “Then, Sir Pete, it is with esteem pleasure that we place ourselves in your care.” He topped it off with a bow that all his allies copied, even the continuously reluctant Marsupilami and the semi-conscious Panchito.
“Fine, fine, fine, I'll do it!” Pete marched over to Mickey, looking down at him as much as possible. “But don't think I'm gunna cut you any slack because of your size! You're going to obey all of my orders without question, you got that?”
“Yes, Sir! Without question!”
“That's what I like to hear! Now, my first order of business...” he reached over and plucked Mickey off of Pluto by the collar of his clothes, and dropped him onto the floor. “Twenty laps around the palace!”
Mickey fumbled on the floor, trying to regain his balance. “Twenty laps? … Which is not a question but repeating what you said, sir!”
“If you wanna be a guard, you gotta be in shape! Now get to it, all of you, unless you'd rather be target practice instead!”
A smarty-pants comment about how Mickey wasn't the right size for that either rose up in Mickey's throat, but he fought it off, and instead bolted for the door, not wanting to cause anymore fuss. He had secured the job, much faster and easier than he had actually anticipated, and he was in no hurry to lose it. Marsupilami began to whine about doing actual work, and Maurice dragged away Panchito who had failed at communicating anything towards Jose but squeaking gibberish. In a way, he kind of wished there had been more fuss about him becoming a guard, if only to decrease the guilt he was feeling deep within his chest.
Yes, of course he wanted to follow in his noble father's footsteps – but he'd only used his father's name to get into the door, as a footstool to the real goal. Somewhere within the palace was the Lucky Hammer, hidden away and only known by the Princess. If he couldn't convince her to grant her the size he needed, he'd have to find it himself. Maybe with his unusual height, he had an advantage over anyone else who had searched high and low in the palace. Yet no matter how far and fast he ran, he couldn't escape his disgrace – to try and honor his father by becoming regular-sized, he'd used him like a cheap trick.
Throughout it all, he tried to hold onto one singular hope – that when he was normal, he would be accepted, and no matter how bad he felt now, it would all be worth it in the end. In the end, what other choice did he have? It wasn't as if he'd ever be the Princess' husband.

“No, no, no, a million and infinity times no.”
After her long series of meetings had ended, Minnie was back in her room, rearranging her books with a song in her heart. Clarabelle had immediately followed her and stood in the doorway, making her open heard very loudly. Minnie merely continued to hum, back in her natural persona as she stacked books upon books upon books. “I don't know what you mean,” she replied in a sing-song manner, clapping her hands once when she found her desired volume.
“You cannot marry Mickey! I won't allow it! All your ancestors won't allow it!”
“Sir Mickey,” she corrected, flopping onto her bed so she could reread her favorite chapter. “And didn't you say you'd let me marry anyone?”
“How was I supposed to know men came in his size?!” Clarabelle futilely measured an imaginary Mickey in her hands before trying to come inside the tricky bedroom space. “Besides, you're missing the point entirely! I want you to have a husband who can support you in times of need, a man you can rely on, who can protect you-”
“I bet Sir Mickey can do all those things. Love knows no obstacles.”
“And can give you children.” Clarabelle finished sharply.
Minnie paused, glancing up from her book for half a second. “... Okay, we'll adopt. But love can overcome all those other obstacles.”
“You do not love him!” Clarabelle had to awkwardly angle herself around several stacks of books before she made it to the bed, as she felt she had to try and tip the book she was reading away from her eyes. “You don't even know him! You only think you do because he resembles some made-up character in a fantasy world!”
“It's destiny!” Minnie insisted, tugging her book right back and flipping it around – the illustrated page showing Sir Sakura kneeling before his retainer and pledging his eternal loyalty. “See? It happened just like in my book! It's meant to be! We'll grow closer day by day, he'll get jealous of me spending time with the other guards but not understand why, then we'll have a silly nonsense fight, only for him to return in the rain and declare his forbidden feelings for me! Then we'll live happily ever after! … Until the next volume, when I get kidnapped and he has to come and rescue me while fighting off urges from a vile temptress.”
When Clarabelle first became Minnie's handmaiden, she had sworn to protect the Princess from everything even at the cost of her own life, a sacred vow she held very deeply. Right now she was mildly considering breaking this vow to smack Minnie repeatedly with that book. Who would have guessed she'd have to protect Minnie from Minnie? She inhaled as hard as her body would allow, her hands pressed together as she tried to form some sort of argument that would make the Princess listen. “Okay... since common sense isn't doing me any favors today... let's try this. Let's say you like him, even if it's for a ridiculous and purely insane reason. Is there any reason Mickey would like you?”
Minnie stopped, jerking her head, her expression incredulous. “Are you saying I'm unlikable?”
“No! What I'm saying is... what does Mickey know about you, that would make him like you as a wife?”
“Well... he, uh....he, um...” She slowly began to place the open book down on her lap as she had to think about it. “I was...very nice to him when we first met!”
“Everyone is supposed to be very nice when you make an introduction. What does he know about you that makes you you, and not... basic human decency?”
Clarabelle had only intended for Minnie to slow down her romantic endeavors and take her future more seriously, but she'd unknowingly opened up a trap door that Minnie fell through in one fell swoop. What about her made her... unique? Worthy of love? She only ever had two goals in life – to be a good Princess for her people, and find a man like Sir Sakura. Outside of that, what else did she have? One could argue the first goal wasn't really hers either – wasn't every royal figure supposed to want to be good for their people? That just left her wanting to find someone to love her exactly as these black and white pages said love was supposed to be.
So who was Minnie, outside of the palace and away from these fantasy books? She had no idea. How could you love someone that didn't exist as a whole? At that moment, she couldn't even fathom loving herself. Clarabelle was taking the long stretch of silence as a good sign, and began to advise her about how if you wanted to win over any man, friendship was the first goal – she had no idea the Princess was going through an identity crisis and thus not listening to a single word being spoken.
Neither woman was paying attention to the book in Minnie's lap, where Sir Sakura was going into a rambling soliloquy about his devotion to the fair maiden he was guarding. It was very unlike how Mickey had asked for the job, merely getting right to the heart of the matter instead of taking up twenty pages.
Somewhere in the back of Minnie's mind, the tiny light of hope found it odd that despite such a vast difference, she preferred Mickey's way of asking.
~*~
With both mice now terribly uncertain about their futures, the wheels of fate were set in motion. Panchito, Maurice, Marsupilami were all equipped with the official palace armor and given their own blades from the finest blacksmith in the capitol, with Pluto getting his own super shiny collar. Mickey's size, to no one's real shock, presented a problem with getting his own armor and blade, but he put up a stiff upper lip and insisted his soft robes and sewing needle would suit him just fine. Pete reluctantly did as he was told, showing them the ins and outs of the palace, with Mickey ever vigilant for any sign of a hidden space that could hold the treasure he sought.
When the first day ended and they retreated to their newfound living quarters with the other soldiers, Mickey waited until he heard snores fill up the room before he slid out into the night. The palace was quite tall, certainly larger than the already enormous home he'd grown up in. It would have taken ages for a regular-sized person to search every nook and cranny – given his own height, it could have taken years and years. But as he quietly knocked on floorboards and climbed up windows, he didn't think about all the time he'd have to spend in the future.
Instead his mind kept going back to the past, about how he had gone about memorizing the layout of his home. He was sure he could walk through it blindfolded and never bump into anything. There had been nights he slipped out of his drawer of a bedroom just to walk around and get his blood pumping. His mother had meant well, but constantly being told not to do anything had only made him long for the exact opposite. Thinking back on those times, he was certain his father had “caught” him doing this a few times, as he spotted Donald's open eye as he left the room – yet Donald had never said a word about it to Daisy. Even if he just couldn't be bothered to do so, Mickey was grateful for the small grace of freedom.
He missed his parents very much on that first night, knowing he'd definitely upset his mother and caused his father all sorts of trouble. Thinking of their aches made his search all the more difficult, and he shook his head hard in a futile effort to clear it. No matter how much pain he had caused them, it would all be healed when he was normal. Moonlight dimly shone through the windows, slightly aiding his search – until it was blocked. Distracted, Mickey peered outside, although he couldn't see much in the shadows. He was on the third floor of the palace, which allowed him to make sense of two things.
First, there was a fire in the garden. Not a large, all-destroying monstrosity that had nearly killed Grandma's fields, but a contained campfire. The smoke from the fire was blocking the moon on and off because of the second thing he'd noticed – whoever was making the fire was covering it with something, then taking it off, doing it over and over in strange intervals. If it was an intruder, Mickey knew it was his duty to alert the others and have the invader kicked out – but if it was someone trying to break into the castle, they certainly were going about it in a very strange way! Maybe it was harmless. Weird, but harmless.
The figure down below eventually became satisfied with his work because they stopped and put out the campfire. After shuffling, possibly to get rid of evidence it was ever there, the figure approached the castle wall, and began to climb it with ease! Mickey stared, but then he remembered how he first met  Marsupilami and Maurice – Maurice had been climbing up the inn without breaking a sweat. Strange and stranger still – wasn't Maurice asleep with the others? Maybe he'd gone out to cook a light meal in the gardens and follow it up with some exercise. It was unusual, but Mickey decided that since all of his friends were unusual, one of them doing something unusual wasn't unusual! … Or something like that. He was getting one of his triple headaches again trying to sort it all out.
With the mystery solved, he hopped out of the windowsill and resumed his search. He knew he wouldn't be lucky enough to find the hammer on his first night, and after a few more hours of searching he dragged himself back to the shared room to catch some shut-eye. From here on out, it was only a matter of time and patience. He wouldn't leave the capitol until he found the Lucky Hammer, even if it took until he was old and gray. He rather hoped he'd find it before the Princess was married, he thought to himself as he laid down to sleep. Honestly, what had Panchito been thinking? She'd never marry such a small person.
But she might marry a person who was small and suddenly became regular-sized.
Mickey's eyes shot open, bewildered as to where that thought came from, and alas, he couldn't sleep a wink for the rest of the night.
~*~
As the days of intense training began for Mickey and his companions, Donald and Daisy came upon a long dirt road with an unforgiving sun in the sky – the same road where Mickey had come across the sword-wielding rooster. With no trees to offer them shade, it made the walk seem much longer. Were it not for his old injury, Donald would have insisted on carrying Daisy on his back, so she wouldn't have to strain herself under the heat. By this point in their journey, the euphoria about Mickey's heroics had worn off for Daisy, and she was back into panic mode. She knew airing her grievances would do no good, and settled for mumbling them while biting her fingernails. Donald silently offered a squeeze of her hand whenever her saw her do this, even if it didn't help.
Eventually, he could take it no more, and made an attempt. “He's probably too stubborn to get into more trouble.”
Daisy raised her head, surprised to hear him. “What?” “Mickey. You know how he is... you know him better than I do. He's headstrong and foolish... so much that even if he was close to death, he'd just be too bullheaded to accept it. So he's probably fine.”
“Are you trying to cheer me up?”
He glanced over at her grimly. “Is it not working?”
“I'm sorry, honey.” Her eyes went down again, a tragic expression that tore up Donald's heart. “I know you might be right, but I can't help worrying. The world is a dangerous place... you, as a samurai, should know that more than anyone. Maybe I would feel more at peace if the previous Oni King hadn't died, and the peace treaty went through, but... now things are dangerous no matter where you go. Mickey could be flattened, or squished, or trampled, or... he could wind up doing the worst thing in the world!”
Maybe it wasn't helping settling her fears by asking, but how did she not expect him to follow up? “What's that?”
Daisy inhaled deeply, and put her free hand to her face to make sure she wouldn't cry. “He might... meet someone!”
All the worry and sadness in Donald's chest vanished in seconds. “What.”
“When a boy meets someone and gets those special feelings, he doesn't need his mommy anymore!” Daisy wailed, and her tears began to flow freely, oblivious to Donald's exasperated stare. “It's too soon! I don't wanna give him up to anyone! They'll never realize how special he is, not like his mommy does!”
For a brief moment, Donald thought perhaps Mickey might be better off without them. “Daisy, isn't he eighteen?”
“Babies are babies no matter how old they get! He's always going to be my darling little boy! That's why I never wanted you to give him the birds and the bees talk!”
Donald had always assumed this was because there would be no birds or bees Mickey's size. If Mickey did meet a special someone, they'd have to be pretty special too in order to love someone past such a big – well, small – obstacle. He considered mentioning this to Daisy, but as he heard her wail about refusing to acknowledge any in-laws, decided not to. His wife could be very silly, but that was one of the things he liked about her. Had Mickey inherited any of that from her?
He really didn't know much about Mickey, did he? Despite having shared a home all these years, there hadn't been much conversation between them, not for lack of trying on Mickey's part. After the awful thing Donald had said in the fields, would Mickey ever want to come back home? What if they did find Mickey, but he had no desire to return with them? That would ultimately destroy Daisy, and he doubted she'd ever recover.
She was odd, but she was also full of love and sincerity and Donald would never want her to change. If Mickey was like Daisy at all, the woman he loved, then shouldn't he be able to find something he loved about Mickey? He allowed Daisy to ramble on, troubled by his guilty conscious.
Was Mickey happier without them, or was he meant to return to a man who still wouldn't acknowledge him as a son? He walked on, and on, and on, and found no answer.

Overwatch: Oni x Goddess AU (Gency)
Vinni drew. Vinni shipped. I wrote.
Is that a meme? Whatever, pretty sure I butchered that...
ANywaaaaayyyy... @koshkavinni came up with this fabulous AU and let me write a quick one-shot for it. BLESS. THEM! This is probably one of my favorite Overwatch AUs, period.
Warnings: None
Characters: Genji Shimada, Angela “Mercy“ Ziegler
Other Tags: Oni!Genji, Goddess!Mercy, Fantasy Setting, Romance, Angst, Cliffhanger that won’t be resolved (by me at least *insert smiling devil emoji*
This isn’t beta’d, so any mistakes are on me.
-----
Genji was taught his whole life that his demonic nature was the only thing that has defined him, and will ever define him. That’s what’s been drilled into his head since childhood. Despite that philosophy never quite sitting well with him, he just kept quiet and pretended to accept it. For centuries he tried to defy it, but one way or another, the darkness caught up with him. He was about to embrace it for good when she came along.
She was his polar opposite. He was the embodiment of darkness, despair and misfortune while she was everything light, happy and nothing short of beautiful.
She was the Goddess of mercy. Her name was Angela
-----
He didn’t fall in love with her immediately, and nor did she with him. It took time, but they got there.
A friendship bloomed between them rather quickly. Especially for beings of light and dark. He slowly opened up to her, and she was always there to listen. When she learned of the darkness that inhabited the world in all corners, he was there to help her comprehend it. Both of them were young, and still had lots to learn about the mortal and immortal realms. Whatever obstacles they faced, they carried each other through it. No matter how many tears were shed, giggles and laughs spilled, neither let go of the other.
-----
The longer they spent together, the more darkness he sensed.
Her physical appearance didn’t change. Her magic wasn’t diminished. Her demeanor and personality never faltered either. Nonetheless, something was still very wrong.
Genji tried to hide it from her, and for a while he was successful. His white, red-fanged mask was off whenever her presence was near, but he kept an invisible mask on under it as well. Angela saw through both of them.
It was Genji’s greatest fear that the darkness that followed him would take her, too. It was always pushed deep down in his core, covered by the hope that she was his equal as much as his opposite. His balance, the yin to his yang, whatever someone might call it. Now it rose into his chest and left a burning sensation in his throat. He absolutely would not let anything give away his worry.
It became harder and harder every time he saw her. The darkness was stronger than he anticipated. The last thing he wanted was to make it worse, but he wasn’t sure what would make it worse or better. That was the only reason he refrained from stealing her kiss.
“Genji, is everything alright?“
“Yes, Angela, I’m fine.“
“But you’re crying.”
He swiftly wiped the dampness from his cheeks, but it was too late. Angela did the only thing she could think of to console him and immediately threw her arms around him and squeezed around his chest. Without thinking he wrapped his around her waist in return.
When she looked up to meet his gaze, the distance between their lips was already very short. Without asking, Genji closed it. If he was going to lose her, he would at least tell her how much she meant to him. Angela didn't mind.
She pressed back. Her hands moved from his back to the sides of his face to trace the red markings on his cheeks with her thumbs. His own hands moved to tangle with the feathers of her wings. The horror in his mind dimmed when she returned his kiss, but rose again when the feathers between his fingers were pulled with no resistance. Angela didn't feel them gone, either. In truth, she couldn't feel anything in the moment.
"Genji..." was what she managed to say before collapsing in his arms as if her legs turned to water. She went completely limp in his hold and he wasted no time in grasping her tighter to prevent her from falling. Tears began forming much quicker and falling in large beads. Her feathers fell at an accelerated rate around them, giving her wings a tattered appearance.
“Angela!” he shouted as he held on to a sliver of hope. Hope that she could hear him. Hope that he could pull her from the waiting jaws of the darkness before it fully consumed her. Hope that she would come back to him.
He cradled her body to his chest and rested her head in the crook of his neck. He shut his eyes as more tears kept running down his cheeks and over his markings. He murmured silent promises into her golden locks as her faint breaths faced across his neck. The warmth in her person was fading, and he wished that some way...
“She can be saved.”
The unfamiliar voice caused Genji to snap his gaze up. He was greeted by a tall woman with nearly ivory-hued skin. Her hair was a deep blue, and the crescent moon insignia on her forehead had the same colorization. There entire outfit was pitch black. Her large feathered wings invisible against the starless and moonless night. Her discolored eyes added a cynical touch to her sadistic expression. Genji immediately didn’t trust her, but still asked her to continue.
“H-How?” he choked out.
“Her soul is tainted,” the woman began. “Because of you, the darkness-”
“SHUT UP!” Genji bellowed. “I didn’t ask why, I only need to know how I can save her!”
“I intend to extract the darkness, Oni,” she hissed. “She’ll be free of the darkness, and I’ll even put a spell on her to prevent dark magic from entering her.”
Genji tightened his grip on the cool body in his grasp. “How do I know I can trust you?”
“You don’t, but you also don’t have much time left to decide.”
She was right. He didn’t have any other alternative.
“Why would you do this?”
“I have my reasons. Now, do we have a deal or not?”
A glowing piece of parchment appeared in front of him. His instincts creamed at him not to take this deal, but he’d do anything to have his goddess back.
His goddess.
“Yes,” he said grabbing the contract. It disappeared as soon as he touched it, and Angela became weightless. He let her go and she hovered in front of him. He expected her feathers to reattach themselves to her wings. He yearned to see her cheeks hold their pink tinge again. He’d do anything to gaze into the blue depth of her eyes again.
Of course, he should have known better.
Her white dress remained white, but it was... different. Her golden hair turned into a light lavender, and her crown of leaves was replaced by large black horns protruding from the side of her head, and curving upwards in a forward motion. Black markings lined her brow. A long, white tail snaked out from under her dress. Lastly, her wings, her beautiful wings no longer held soft feathers, but instead had a leathery texture and had a bright pink aura to them. When her transformation finished, she fell to the earth again, Genji lifted her head and placed it in his lap.
He was about to confront the dark-haired woman about what she did to the goddess. It was not part of the deal, and Angela certainly wouldn’t have asked for it. When he looked up, she had vanished without a sound or trace. Part of him wanted to find her and confront her, but he was distracted by Angela’s eyes shooting open with a sharp gasp coming from her mouth.
“Angela? Angela, can you hear me?”
Her eyes darted around for a few moments before meeting his gaze. Her irises were a soft blue, but something was wrong. They didn’t hold the sparkle he was used to. In fact, her entire face was unreadable. Genji didn’t know whether he should be relieved or concerned.
But she was alive. Angela was alive! Before he let his mind form any second thoughts, he bent down to her level and wrapped one arm around her middle and one around her neck.
He felt a soft pushing against his chest, and he let her go.
“Genji, what are you doing?”
She let out a soft groan in pain and grabbed her head with one of her hands. It was faint, but her eyes flickered from blue to soft pink and back to blue. “What happened? Why were you hugging me?”
His heart dropped and the lump in his throat grew larger. Somewhere, in that body, his goddess still lives. Her eyes still look back at him, despite being trapped in that body. She could be saved.
No matter what it takes. He will get Angela back.
-----
And that’s all! This was so much fun to make! (In case it wasn’t very clear, Moon Moira is the dark angel that made the deal with Genji and Angela became Imp Mercy.) Don’t forget to check out Vinni’s art for the AU!
