Notes: This is a bit rushed for Valentine's Day, but at least it's here!! I may end up writing for White Day as well, who knows? The reader in this case is referred to as gender neutral in most cases, but the gifts are lenient towards female readers.

Ciel Phantomhive

☆ Ciel would plan everything out beforehand, making sure that he could treat you to a night out to dinner or something nicer than usual. Maybe he'll have a stay-at-home date and have Sebastian make your favorites, or even host a ball in your honor where he could publicly confess to you the way a noble should.

☆ His gifts might consist of sweets, plushes, and more from the Funtom Corporation. Not to mention he'd somehow manage to get his hands on all of your favorite pastries, just how you like them. Along with sweets and a snuggly companion, a dress//suit designed perfectly to suit your taste was sent to you the day prior to inviting you over.

Sebastian Michaelis

☆ Ah yes, you are quite lucky indeed to have a demon wrapped around your finger. Like the gentleman he is, he's set up a dance for the two of you in the manor with his young master's permission. Most likely later in the day, making sure to shoo off the other servants with their duties before taking your hand to sway with the music. No worries if you can't dance, he'll guide you.

☆ Before "dancing the night away" with you by his side, Sebastian took it upon himself to present you with a beautiful bouquet of assorted red and black roses. This was along with a silver gemstone ring of your favorite color, both of your initials engraved on the inside. He slipped it on your finger with the sly wording of, "This will not be the last time we find ourselves in a position like this, my dear."

Baldroy

☆ Baldroy is a man who can enjoy the simple things, not often wishing for much more. For you however, he decided an inside dinner by the candlelight would be suitable. Rather than indulging you inside the Phantomhive Manor itself, he's booked a table far earlier than necessary at a fancy restaurant in town.

☆ Somehow he managed to make the moment of you both leaving after a nice meal romantic as well, taking out a necklace he had hand picked out just for you out of a small box and carefully hooking the clasp around your neck. Baldroy took a step back and gave you his signature toothy grin accompanied by a wink, "Look how pretty ya are now my darlin', even if ya were already pretty before."

Mey-Rin

☆ Much like Baldroy, Mey-Rin can enjoy the simple things with pleasure. She may not have booked a fancy restaurant for you, but she convinced Sebastian to let the two of you use the kitchen for the afternoon. You had a fun and playful baking date, which ended with flour and sugar covering both of your faces, the floor, and just about anything else in the room. You were both enjoying laughing yourselves to death though, so it was worth the clean-up.

☆ Along with the sweets you managed to bake, Mey-Rin brought you a box of assorted chocolates hidden behind her back. Yelling out, "Suprise! D' ya like them?" Not long after she took you to her servant's courters and pulled out a white present box wrapped up tightly in a red ribbon. Waiting for you inside was different glass containers of your favorite scents.

Finnian

☆ This boy would go to the ends of the earth for you if you let him, and Valentine's Day seemed like the perfect chance to prove this to you in his eyes. Although he was stuck on how to show his love for you for quite a bit of time, he eventually came to the bright idea of a date in the garden. Laid out for the two of you was a picnic blanket with a variety of goods, and afterwards a cuddle session wrapped up tightly in Finny's arms.

☆ Trying his hardest, Finnian picked out a charm bracelet with different combinations to match your personality. He also prepared a slightly messy bouquet of different flowers he had grown himself in the garden of the Manor, mainly consisting of colors that were meant to represent the two of you. Maybe his choices weren't the nicest when put together, but it's the effort that counts.

Snake

☆ Snake is nervous and bothered that he might mess up his chance until the very moment you go to meet him. He didn't go all out, but he did manage to set up a little stargazing date for the two of you. His actual confession would be the hardest for him, even trying to use his own voice rather than having his snakes speak for him.

☆ As for gifts, he did what he could manage and asked around the other servants for advice. In the end he settled for a small bouquet of red roses, and little matching snake rings. He definitely got scared that you wouldn't like the rings, thinking they may have been more leaning towards his interests over yours. To his relief, upon receiving your gifts, the stars you had been watching couldn't compare to the ones in your eyes.

... it has just occurred to me that maybe the reason Ciel lets Finny take care of him during Green Witch, over anyone else, is because Finny is younger and therefore appears as less of a threat to his subconscious.

I mean, think about it. Ciel's trauma has been primarily caused by adults. (I say "primarily" because, y'know, I still think r!Ciel might be behind o!Ciel's sickness as a child.) I wouldn't be surprised if, lacking the memories of who these people are, he felt safer with Finny, who is visibly younger and honestly acts younger than his age. Finny might have registered as more of a peer to Ciel's mind, instead of a potential threat.

“Well then…” Sebastian adjusted his glasses using his pointing stick. Across from him, anxiously seated in their chairs, were the four subordinate servants of the Phantomhive household. “Since the trip to Germany was on such short notice, we never had the time to pick up topography lessons to teach you where we would be traveling to. So to prepare for future endeavors, we will be starting them now.” He pointed at a large sheet hung from the ceiling behind him. “Who can tell me what this is?” Finny’s hand eagerly shot in the air. “Oh, oh! Pick me! I know!” Sebastian indicated towards him, and Finny answered. “That’s a map of the world!” “Correct. Can you also tell me where we are at the moment?” Sebastian followed up. Finny frowned. Sebastian turned to the others. “Anyone else want to take a guess?” The four of them were at the edges of their seat, trying to find something recognizable on the map, but to no avail. Sebastian sighed. He pointed his stick at an island. “This is Great Britain. This part of Great Britain is England, and here in the south is where the estate is located.” The four of them blinked in surprise. “Oh, hello there home!” Finny waved at the spot Sebastian just pointed towards. “I knew it was smaller than the States, but I never knew it was so tiny…” Baldroy said. “Where is America?” Mey-Rin asked, searching further. “Well they say it’s westward so it must be somewhere over there, says Webster,” Snake gestures at the left part of the map.  Sebastian Clapped in his hands. “Would you all settle down. Actually, Snake wasn’t too far off the mark. North America is right here.” Sebastian used his stick again and the four watched it slide across the map to stop at a big slab of land. “But we’ll discuss that another time.” The four looked disappointed. “But all that’s surrounding this country is bloody water!” Baldroy complained. “Not quite. This island doesn’t consist of England alone. There is also Scotland and Wales, and even Ireland is part of the United Kingdom.” “So… Then where is the Germany we traveled to?” Mey-Rin asked. “Germany is part of mainland Europe, right here. This is the distance we crossed by boat.” Sebastian let his stick slide across the map. “But those lines indicate there are other countries blocking the way. We couldn't have gone off board in Germany itself, says Keats,” Snake comments. “Correct again. We arrived on land at the docks of Rotterdam in The Netherlands. We traveled by train - this route - to get to Germany and then bought a carriage to get to the village in the woods.” “But that is still such a small part of the map! I want to see aaaaallll the countries!” Finny exclaimed while Sebastian looked at his pocket watch. “Well, for now you’ll have to make do with aaallll the chores waiting to be done. Class dismissed.” The four got up and left the room to get on with their daily tasks. Tanaka, who had been sitting in the corner listening to the lecture, had transformed into his true self. “Ho ho ho. It’s been a while since I’ve had the very same lessons. Soon, they’ll know the names and locations of all countries by heart.” Sebastian replied while taking the map down. “I actually doubt it, but at least they’re enthusiastic….”

NOW STAY WITH ME!

Undertaker was Vincent Phantomhive's mother (Claudia?)'s butler. Yet she died before him because he failed to protect her, so he paid for it with his life. Thus becoming a grim reaper. One who knows the underworld eerily well, as well as the secrets of the Phantomhive family, despite only being a mortician.

Why would I think this? Remember when Sebastian faked his death in Book of Murders, and Tanaka said is was the ultimate failing of duty to die before your master if you are a Phantomhive butler.

We also know he cared about Claudia. You don't keep someones memorial locket unless you were either their family member or their servant. (Actually, my grandmother told me this once! I'm assuming its true based on research I did too.) But the other names on it leads me to believe that more that one member of the household died back then. If the chain means anything, then Vincent Phantomhive (and don't forget his sister Francis)'s parents ALSO died mysteriously! Unless we already know how Cedric Phantomhive(Vincent's father) died and I just forgot? XD

I think everything Undertaker is doing is to atone for his sin of failing to protect the family. His goal is probably to create a fake soul in Ciel(the dead one xD) and put it inside this Ciel for Sebastian to eat (but this is extra problematic because the soul was already sacrificed to Sebastian wasn't it? But I'm sure Undertaker thought of that.)

The funny thing is that I'm not entirely sure that Sebastian is actually going to kill Ciel. How are demons made? The live action said they are fallen angels but actually demons were all once human, fallen angels are archdemons. If Ciel loses his soul it doesn't mean he will die. The Phantomhive family will die though because Elizabeth will join someone else family, and Edward is a Midford so he will carry on the Midford name.

Thats it for my Undertaker theory but...you know, I *think* that Elizabeth actually knew Ciel wasn't the real Ciel from the start too. I also think she liked the sickly twin more than the real Ciel to begin with anyway. No proof, but we know how smart and resourceful she can be. Madam Red obviously knew the truth too.

I did some headcanons for the whole household, but I did try to do a couple extra for Ciel and Sebastian!

honestly I just love the whole concept of characters meeting their descendants and stuff, and this was fun!! I hope you like it~

To be perfectly honest, you’re a headache that Ciel is completely unwilling to deal with at first. Not only have you fought with his entire small army of servants, you’re also somehow from the future? And a Phantomhive? Of course, this knowledge means he survives at least long enough that his bloodline doesn’t die. That he’s going to have a child in the future, then maybe a grandchild, and that his family name isn’t going to be swallowed when his soul is… he’s not ready to address those kinds of things and the feelings that go with them.

For the moment, take your… friend? Sister? Cousin? Partner-in-crime, and assist the servants in cleaning up. If he’s stuck with you, he’s not going to let you get off easy for making a mess in his home, no matter who you happen to be. He’ll let you sleep in the servants’ quarters at least for now, but with good behavior maybe you can move to a guest room.

However you got here, you’re still a Phantomhive, so… Sebastian at least seems to forgive your audacity. He’s bound by contract to serve Ciel, which includes making nice with you as his master’s descendant. Certainly, though, should the truth come out, (which it very well may, there’s no sense keeping supernatural secrets from a time traveler), he’ll admit he’s surprised you managed to keep up with him in a fight. If you managed to land a hit, you might have even caused a little bit of pain; the only other mortal who’s ever inflicted any pain on a demon like Sebastian is Lau. Though he may not understand you, he does respect you.

The household really is rather more lively with you around. Even not being dull at the best of times, you appear to bring out that much more chaos when it comes to the rest of the servants. (This is the main reason Sebastian gets easily frustrated with you. You encourage reckless behavior with the people under his supervision, and they all have enough of a problem with that as it is.) Thankfully, it really does seem that you can handle yourself, so in the event of everyone needing to protect the manor, you’re more than able to hold your own alongside the servants.

There’s absolutely no reason for Pluto to not still be around, so you and your cousin might have some fun assisting Finny in wrangling the demon hound. Pluto really prefers Sebastian’s company over anyone else’s… surely, you’re a close second, though, especially because Sebastian doesn’t really like dogs. And, this does mean that practically from the second you meet him, you’ve got a built-in attack demon. You dare anyone to defy you now!! You’ll have London’s worst cowering before you know it.

Speaking of Finny, whenever you or your cousin need a break from all the crazy adventures, he makes it clear you’re always welcome in the garden. There’s a little spot just for you two… in part because he might have a crush on one or both of you, but, mostly because he wants to be nice. Even though none of the others know what’s happened and why you’re here, they do know you’re related to Ciel in some way. That makes the servants want to protect you as well as him. At the end of the day, Finny wants to make sure you have a safe place amid all the chaos. He knows how it can get round this household, and everyone needs some rest.

You’re forever sneaking snacks, sweets, and tea from the kitchen… even behind the servants’ backs. Although Sebastian gives you a stern warning to leave some for everyone else and not ruin your appetite, Bard is your accomplice and is equally as to blame for your sticky fingers. He’ll pretend he doesn’t notice you in the kitchen at all, claiming his back was turned while cooking if he’s questioned about it. More than once he’s loudly proclaimed in full earshot of Sebastian or Ciel that he’s sorry, but he doesn’t want you to spoil your dinner, he has a cup of tea for you and nothing else… while pressing a little bag full of sugar cubes into your hand. Then Sebastian wonders why he has to go buy more in the middle of the week. (… Ciel’s sweet tooth is only rivaled by yours, after all.)

Far as Mey Rin is concerned, thank God, another couple of women!! Despite that she adores her coworkers, sometimes it drives her a little batty not to have another girl round the house. Now she’s got you and your cousin to make conversation and bond with. It gets a bit lonesome unless Lizzie comes over, so, she’s happy to steal you both away for a moment under the guise of making sure she’s made your beds to your liking… only to immediately muss the linens up by bouncing on the beds like a couple of schoolgirls at a sleepover, giggling and talking. Of course, she still does her work, and she’ll fix the bed later; it’s just nice to be able to spend time with other ladies. If you want, and if you don’t know how already, she’ll even teach you to shoot a gun. Even though you shouldn’t need to help protect the manor… well, it’s a dangerous world, so if you want to be prepared to keep yourself safe, she’s here to serve in any way she can.

The one who’s a bit of a toss-up as to how he interacts with you is Snake. He’s nervous around other people in general, and here he is among upper society as a servant, and he doesn’t really know how to behave, so he… often simply stays silent and still just so he doesn’t say or do anything wrong. Mercifully, though, you’re actually a little easier to interact with. It’s like you don’t fully know the social mores yourself, which is a comfort to someone like him who doesn’t either. He still does his best to help you in whatever you might need, despite that it’s in a quiet kind of way. Watching you fight like you do, so much action whereas he’s typically about stealth, he’s mystified. You’re a puzzle, alright. But… he sort of likes having you around.

Ciel has given Sebastian an order that he must obey you, to treat any order from you as if it were an order from Ciel himself. He grants you this privilege as soon as he knows he can trust you not to abuse it, and not a second sooner. It’s almost as if you’ve got your own contract with Sebastian, with all the benefits and none of the risk. (Ciel’s reasoning is that if you really are a Phantomhive, and you’ve proved you aren’t going to betray him, then you deserve the right to access whatever he can give you, including his demon butler.) This irks Sebastian to no end, mainly because he has to follow your orders without the promise of a second meal. Not that your soul would be nearly as enjoyable as Ciel’s, but still, it’s more work for no additional reward. That being said, unless you show incredibly poor judgment in your orders, he can’t complain too much. He’ll fulfill your wishes to the best of his ability, so… whether you use him for good or evil is up to you. Should you take advantage, though, Ciel isn’t above rescinding this order and preventing his attendant from being your plaything.

… You’re not so bad, Ciel supposes. You can fight, you have knowledge the rest of them don’t, and… alright, well, he has a soft spot for determined people like you.
