I wish I had more time to write. I have so many fic ideas that live in folders that I am afraid will never see the light. After I finish my Big Bang fic I still have to finish To B With Love & All The Kings Men (oof poor baby has gone so neglected). So this brain bunny will sadly probably not see life until next years big bang honestly. But I love the idea so much and want to share it. All my love to @dream-about-dancing who helped me with my initial brainstorming and encouraged me that this wasn't too dark of an idea lol.
That said. Warnings ahead for some dark!romance as in, this is fucked up with purpose.
The idea came to me after the massive disappointment that was Don't Worry Darling. I just feel like the film missed a lot of the horror and emotional beats that make the original Stepford Wives so twisted and compelling.
So my idea for a Harringrove Stepford!Wives Au was born.
A secret government organization has given Martin Brenner funding for "The Eden project". The goal of Eden is to create an actionable community model that would end poverty, wealth inequality, crime, war etc in the western world. Their slogan is " take the first step to world peace. Choose Eden."
World peace is the surface goal, but we all know Brenner is a closeted sociopath - so naturally he's using Eden and the technology behind it to create a weapon that can control/erase/change the will of others on a mass scale. World peace through mind control in other words. Everyone in Eden is essentially a test subject.
Brenner finds volunteers by preying on fringe groups and people who are ostracized in society, because they can more easily disappear without being missed. Nobody cares if the guy dealing drugs out of his van stops showing up to the corner, or some "tranny" quits their job and moves without telling anyone.
Billy and Steve are college roommates, it's the 80s, and they're both deep in the closet. Billy struggles with his childhood trauma and Steve is there for him like no one else ever has been. Steve is exploring his own sexuality and trying to live independently of his overbearing parents for the first time and they form a very codependent relationship.
Steve's parents start to suspect somethings up with him and his roommate and start to put pressure on him to live up to his responsibilities (Aka join his father's firm and get married to a nice girl). It doesn't help that Billy is fearful and possessive of their relationship and generally just a giant redflag. Steve just wants to be with Billy, but he knows they don't have a future and he doesn't want to be the son who fucks up and ruins his family over something he shouldn't even want - so he breaks up with Billy.
Billy spirals. He completely ignores the part about Steve breaking up with him because he's an unstable mess lol and fixates on Steve's parents and the world telling them it's wrong to be together. He knows Steve was happy with him and that Steve loves him and is desperate to get him back.
He meets someone at a bar who introduces him to Project Eden and indoctrinates him into Brenner's circle. At first Billy thinks this sounds like some weird geek novel bullshit, but the idea of a safe world where he's not wrong for being the way that he is, and where Steve still loves him and he's powerful and successful and nothing can touch him? Appealing as fuck. Sign him up. He'll be a warrior for world peace.
Cue him literally abducting Steve on his wedding day and bringing him into Eden, where they become The Hargroves. They have the perfect life and the perfect marriage that the outside world tells them they can't have. Billy's the provider and each day he gets to come home to his blissfully happy and submissive husband.
He was afraid at first that Brenner's technology would take away what he loves most about Steve, but no he's still the same dork with the same fire. The only downside is Billy knows deep down that Steve didn't choose this and he lives in fear of Steve waking up one day and truly hating him.
The first crack comes when Steve starts to have upsetting dreams about the past, including the time his dad called him a slur and accused him of ruining the family and breaking his mother's heart. Billy tells him these are just nightmares but he knows they are really Steve's memories popping up where they shouldn't. He starts to panic and does everything he can to "fix" Steve, gaslighting him the entire way.
Meanwhile poor Steve is on a reluctant heroes journey slowly regaining his memories and his own mind. He starts unraveling the mysteries behind Eden with the help of Eleven and his friends, who are also fellow residents of Eden. Eleven is Brenner's "daughter" and unknowingly is a big part of how the technology works. Max and Lucas came to Eden together so they could be together without persecution. Heather and Robin were lesbians who didn't know each other and wanted a chance to experience being in love. Jason was a closeted man escaping religious trauma, but in Eden he's the perfect husband to Chrissy who isn't sick or being abused by her mother anymore, and Eddie was a poor social outcast who wanted the world to hear his music. In Eden he's a rock star and has a budding romance with Jason & Chrissy.
Steve agrees that they can't allow Brenner to use El and the Eden technology for what he's planning, but the more of the truth he discovers the more he wishes he'd never woken up. Because despite everything, he loves Billy and the life they have. Billy's very sorry of course. It was never his intention to hurt Steve. He just wanted to make things right for them. And it can all be right again if they all just take this little pill and go to sleep.
Decisions decisions.

People who nearly succeeded in killing Sherlock Holmes, ranked in descending order of seriousness
Sebastian Moran (The Empty House). The man had enough vendetta to single-handedly keep Holmes out of London for three years, and didn't wait a day past Holmes' return to Baker Street to make good on the threat. Even after all Holmes' elaborate preparation against it, he still would have killed him if Watson weren't in the same room.
Professor Moriarty (The Final Problem). Extremely serious, as we all know. Very nearly did come off a few times over. But... well, there's no doubt it would have come off, had he acted sooner- at any point before Holmes was on Permanent Red Alert and the whole criminal empire was collapsing about his ears. Put him in the ranks of those who tragically overestimated their opponents. If he were not a challenge and a treat but a part of the ordinary course of business, Holmes would certainly be dead.
Culverton Smith (The Dying Detective). Horrid man. Evil design. The plunging feeling in my stomach would vault him to the top of the list if left to its own devices. But he put all his hopes in sending Holmes a prank jewel-box. As there is no reason one would anonymously send Holmes a real jewel-box, that makes the effort a bit less serious.
Tonga (The Sign of Four). This stood a better chance of working. All he lacks is the ability to shoot accurately while on a riverboat, and it's an ugly way to die. But you can't take Tonga seriously. He is a walking extract from the pages of the Encyclopedia of Obscure Racism, and you can't get past that.
Baron Gruner (The Illustrious Client). Responsible for the greatest actual bodily harm Holmes incurs during the series, but not a full-throated murder attempt. He seems to regard a killing, a maiming and a roughing-up as basically interchangeable ideas.
Alec Cunningham (The Reigate Squires). What do you expect to happen after you've strangled Holmes in the next room from an active police inspector, guy? You think you're getting off that murder charge now? Should've used that energy to run like a bunny.
Sherlock Holmes (The Devil's Foot). What. Were. You. Thinking.
Count Sylvius (The Mazarin Stone). The grade of villainous plot I expect from a literal cartoon.

little bunny and her wolf
(a repost because the tags ate my first post 😩)
this is just a teensy blurb I wrote in a fun little friendly challenge last night - 560 words of filthy monstrous smut with no plot, featuring dark werewolf!eddie x fem!reader.
warnings: filthy smut, 18+!! predator and prey dynamic, cnc, oral (f!receiving), rough sex, slapping, degradating names (slut), brief mention of blood, knotting, breeding kink
-
You like to say your favorite part is the chase. The adrenaline pumping in your veins, the fear spiking sharp and bright in your chest as you hear the bounding of his feet in the leaves, the ragged panting of his breath, the snarl of his laughter as you vault over a fallen tree in a desperate attempt to escape him. You say the chase is your favorite, but it isn't really. That's only your favorite if you're trying to lie to yourself. Because girls like you— girls soft and supple like little bunny rabbits— don't engage in this kind of play with their wolves unless they like what happens after they've been caught.
So, no. Though it makes you utterly depraved, your favorite part is not the chase. It's also not when Eddie catches you, riled from your fleeing, all manic grinning with feral flashing teeth as he pins you roughly down while you scream and try to fight him. You thrash while he shreds the panties from your sopping folds and buries his face between your legs, licking into you with a broad, rough tongue as you squirm and cry out your protest. And once he's drawn your arousal out— however reluctant you may pretend to be, your puffy cunt that drools for him before he’s even begun won't stop giving you away— then he mounts you.
You always fight him hard, try to keep him from thrusting home; he likes it that way. He always holds you down by the throat while he bullies his way into your cunt; you like it that way. He fucks you deep and fast, panting hot against your cheek as his body presses you down into leaves and earth and you beg for him to let you go, to stop, to please not do this. He growls as he ruts into your soft body, hips snapping relentlessly, mouth spilling wicked poison as he tells you everything you want to hear.
"Cry for me, little bunny," he taunts you. "Scream for me as I fuck you raw, you cock-dumb slut."
Your pussy flutters as he degrades you, and he laughs and digs the tips of his claws into your throat, just enough to have you whining high and desperate as blood trickles to stain the leaves below you. The bloodletting intensifies your fear, which drives the burn in your belly and the darkness in your wolf’s eyes.
Because Eddie loves to push you to the brink, to slap and pinch and fuck you so meanly until you finally unravel for him, crying out his name in a broken sob. Then and only then does he grunt into your hair and rut in so deep, filling you with rope after rope of his thick warm cum as you shudder and squeeze around him, quivering and weak with the force of your orgasm.
Finally, you've almost reached the part you yearn for. The base of Eddie’s cock swells, plugging you entirely with his knot. He sighs in contentment, sagging as the tension leaves him, body heavy and stiflingly warm atop yours. After a boneless moment in which you lay pinned helplessly beneath him, Eddie tips your chin up with a clawed finger and claims your lips, swallowing the sound of your scream— a mixture of pain and pleasure as he stretches you so impossibly tight and rocks his hips until he cums again inside you, flooding you so full of his seed that it feels like he's invaded every inch of you.
That pleasure, that pain, that ownership: this is your favorite part.

Plot Bunny For Adoption!!(LMK)
I have a plot bunny I don't have the time to make but I wanna see it get made!
At its most basic, the story is that Mk found a relic in Monkey King's vault and got sent back in time to the journey. Mk kinda has to join them because they're the best chance he has of getting back to his own time.
Then, hijinks ensue, and I know this sort of fic has been done before, but the part I consider unique is that young Wukong is insistent about Mk being his cub. Another bit is an idea of Monkey King getting kicked out(Like happens a lot) and dragging Mk along with, at which point, he starts telling the monkeys that Mk is "the Monkey Prince of the Future" and that they, "must respect him as the king's son." but I don't have any more past that point.
I do love the thought of Monkey King being super protective of him and kinda just constantly keeping him off to the side when they set up camp. No one else even points it out. They're just like, "Yup. That's demon parents for ya." and no one helps.
Hope to see y'all making your own versions of this!(Or at least one of you)
Have fun, and happy scrolling!

Another plot bunny has bitten me. The Isu are seen as gods, and they created humans, but God also created something else.
Angel’s.
What if Angel’s were the Isu’s ‘first’ attempt at creating a slave race, but they made them a little too useful. Like they were given some of the same powers as the artifacts you find in the games? There were some that had the power of the shrouds, so they could heal. Others had the 'knowledge’ base of the apple’s, etc.
And what if, these beings that were powerful, and had knowledge, and wings, decided they didn’t want to be enslaved?
So they revolted, like the humans later on, but ultimately failed. And this is where the terms 'fallen angel’ and 'demons’ stems from. Most were wiped out, and those that couldn’t be killed were imprisoned. And one of those angel’s just so happens to be Desmond.
He was a 'jack of all trades’ angel, but one that pretty much excelled at everything he was 'built’ to do, and one of the innate abilities he had made him very difficult, nearly impossible, to kill. So he was one of the ones imprisoned.
And where was he imprisoned at? The vault under the vatican. So Rodrigo was wrong in stating that God himself was inside the vault, but the assassin’s were very much right in thinking it was a 'weapon’.
So Ezio gets to the vault, and instead of a message from Minerva, he finds a winged man, chained suspended in the air, his wings pinned like a butterfly’s to the wall and bleeding golden blood.
And Desmond, knowing this being wasn’t an Isu, but also not an Angel, doens’t know what to do with the man that frees him.
Rodrigo though? Desmond doesn’t know what he is, but he knows evil when he sees it, and Desmond decides the first act of his freedom is to rid the world of an Isu adjacent monster.
===============================
Additions from teecup:
Perhaps we can even make it that Desmond had been ‘saved’ by Minerva because he had been Minerva’s slave. But it wasn’t kindness that made Minerva push for him to be imprisoned. Other than the fact that he was almost indestructible, Desmond’s genes were used for the second attempt of slaves because he was, for some reason, less violent than his ‘brethren’ (honestly, it was because Minerva was less of a dick than the rest of the Isus but he wasn’t going to say that) so the fallen angel Desmond became the ‘basis’ of humans.
So Rodrigo wasn’t exactly wrong in saying ‘God’ dwells inside the vault as one may look at Desmond’s connection to humanity as something similar to a god. Just… not the god Rodrigo assumes.
Also, Desmond’s connection to humanity would make him ‘kinder’ to them, especially to Ezio who he sees as the one who unchained him from his prison. At the same time, Ezio’s mastery of the Eagle Vision meant that he was drenched in the blood of the Isus, of the blood of those who betrayed him and his brethren so there would be some kind of conflict between them as well.
Desmond doesn’t need to see evil to not like Rodrigo. Rodrigo is the leader of an organization that says “May the Father of Understanding Guides Us” who, as far as Desmond knew, was supposed to be Yaldabaoth since Yaldabaoth was the Father of Understanding in charge of creating a slave race for the Isus (also, even if he hears that it’s Tinia, he’d be like “Tinia’s an idiot who was able to remain of high standing because his daughter was brilliant.”)
… If other fallen angels were imprisoned because they couldn’t be killed, doesn’t that mean that we can make Desmond’s main goal is to save those still alive?
Like, perhaps one of them was underneath Alamut and the other was in the Grand Temple (just to give us some kind of way to include Altaïr and Ratonhnhaké:ton XD)

Group C Round 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[image ID: the first image is of Bai Lang, a Taiwanese man. he's wearing a white tank top, and kneeling at the edge of his bed, which is covered in many different stuffed animals and plushies, such as a fox, an angry bunny, a brown turtle, and a smiling tempura. the second image is of Aliya Elasra, a woman with light brown skin, dark brown hair, and wearing a blue head scarf. around her neck is a necklace with a peach colored decoration. she wears a dirty, white loose shirt, and a brown bag around her hips. end ID]
Bai Lang
He's a traumatized babygirl who falls in love with a hot autistic dentist despite being terrified of going to the dentist. Blames himself for everything and tries to distract people from how much he's falling apart with jokes. He has a bed full of plushies that each have names and he says good morning to each of them individually. This does not change even when he has the hot dentist in his bed as well. Responds to his boyfriend proposing by also proposing. He's a mess. <3
Aliya Elasra
What a WOMAN she’s a badass. First of all, she’s an archaeologist, and she’s learning a dead language and deciphering it- that’s the whole plot of the game and that’s super cool of her. She’s also like incredibly sassy and banters back and forth with her robot companion, Six, nearly the whole game. But she’s so interested in the world dude, like, she just wants to find its secrets and help discover a way to save people or learn as much as she can about the past. The Nebula is full of mysteries and if anyone is going to solve them, it’s Aliya. [additional propaganda 1]

How would you do ever after?
I wouldn't.
The only "Ever After" that would be there is as time dating method for the current times, the equivalent of Anno Domini.
Let's be frank, Ever After is a BAD idea.
Its aesthetically bad idea that outright clashes with what works in RWBY aesthetics. Let me spell it out: Literal talking animals.
Its thematically bad idea because it doubles down on magical creationist nonsense and also, in an effort to justify two gods plot device, adds even more plot devices, which, without the build up or logical structure being there clashes with even their previous two gods plot device. And yet somehow it manages to make the two gods stuff EVEN GOOFIER. Before they were vague cosmological concepts that were in the setting, now they most likely drown their sorrows in a bar somewhere together with Bugs Bunny. And it messes with the overall cosmology of the setting even more. Talking. Animals. And. Magic. Trees.
Its a dumb excuse to have a filler Volume and because they wanted to rant in-show about how people disliking it are wrong.
Pretty much entirety of the premise completely crashes whatever is left of suspension of disbelief into the ground. And replaces it with cheese.
Whatever character plotline attempts are there can be just as easily done within Remnant, within actually relevant setting and within actual plot.
You don't need magical trees and talking animals to have character actually DEAL with trauma. Even if you want to be crass and write off character trauma and deny that people change from their experiences you can be crass and do that within the actual setting. The show was doing perfectly fine job completely ignoring Ruby's issues or Yang's trauma without there being cartoony beings being involved.
You don't need magical trees and talking animals to address strained relationships.
You don't need magical trees and talking animals AT ALL no matter what you want to do.
Then again you did not need the Two Gods plot device, you did not need the relics or vault stuff or any of that to do most of what the show attempted thematically.
Seriously tho, if you are doing magical elements within a grounded somewhat contemporary setting, less is more. The fairytales are subtext, not text. Don't oversaturate the setting with overtly-magical elements, or you lose the setting in on itself.

What’s a fic trope, plot bunny, or character variation that you want someone to write for Rumbelle, but no one ever has?
Some things I dug out of my 'rumbelle prompts' tag:
One from dekujin (separated by worlds, joined in dreams via magic bed)
Community theater background for Rumple
Gilligan's Island AU with Gold as the Professor and Belle as the kind Mary Ann, I suggested characters for the other roles but they can be altered to suit your preferences.
Blood Moon prompt -- for anyone who wants to write Dark Castle smut with a more 'beastly' Rumple.
Merrow!Rumple/Soul Cages
Belle turns the key of the Dark Vault instead of Neal and the price of the magic is the child she was carrying -- I am not exactly advocating for this fic, but it's a damn good prompt for someone who likes to write angst and would keep Neal alive.
Renaissance Faire!Rumbelle -- Rumple follows Bae through the portal, could either be my original idea of Rumple retaining his Dark One appearance or he does revert to normal human look but they still need somewhere where they can fit in and earn some money while learning about the modern world with Belle soon figuring out something weird is going on and Bae convincing Rumple they need to trust her with their story.
Everything's a sex toy if you're horny enough
Lighthouse keeper!Gold
Okay, that's nine for you; nine is a good magical number. Plenty of variety should anyone want to write one.
@thestraggletag, you were asking for prompts not too long ago; help yourself if you like any of these!

I am rereading Mandalorian Courtship again for like the third time this month and am slowly simmering in excitement (just simmering! Please don’t feel like this is a nudge to update or anything I can wait lol!)
But like. Does Jango learn that the knife Obi-Wan gave him was one that got stabbed into Obi-Wan. I feel like this would heighten an emotion or two (though I don’t know which ones).
Anyways you made Jango so wonderfully smug in that fic. I’d hate him if I ever met him in real life. It’s so easy to sympathize with Cody, but it’s also so much fun to watch him show off to Obi-Wan while he’s oblivious. It feels like Jango’s a cat doing a big stretch and then scratching his scratching post while Obi-Wan watches on, mildly amused. I have no clue how else to describe it.
Awwww! I’m so glad you enjoy it, Anon. I’m so happy you’re excited for the next chapter! I am working on it, slowly. So I really appreciate you’re patience and that you’ve read it multiple times.
I wasn’t planning on revealing that in the story. Buuuutt Jango would have some serious complex feels about that. On the one hand, He would find it impressively attractive that he won the knife off of someone in hand to hand combat. On the other... Now that he’s engaged to Obi-Wan, he would maybe feel more justified in tracking down and kicking the responsible party’s shebs.
I’m very happy you enjoy smug, annoying stretchy cat Jango. Its one of my favorite types of Jango, and I’m glad you caught that lol
And to reward your patience, and for giving me this killer plot bunny, have this one shot of Jango being... well... Jango.
Mandalorian Courtship: In Four Easy Steps
A Jango excerpt:
“He was stabbed with that you know.” The medic informed him, nodding to the blade Obi-Wan had gifted him as he diligently applied bacta to a blaster shot that had struck between his beskar plates.
“What?” Jango grunted, brow furrowing.
“The General.” Kix said, tone implying he thought Jango slow on the uptake. “Was stabbed by that blade. A tussle with a merc in the outer rim. Damn near bled out.”
Jango felt a twist in his gut at the context. He’d been blissfully unaware of how the jetii had come to possess it. It was undoubtedly a lovingly crafted engagement knife, though he was well aware that Kenobi wasn’t privy to that. Nor what his actions had truly meant. The added layer of having been won in a fight for his life. Well. Jango had always admired competency. “And the merc?” He inquired after being silent a beat too long.
“Escaped.”
Well that wouldn’t do.
It took relatively little effort for Jango to track down the offending mercenary.
“Fett.” The man bared his teeth in a hostile smile, when Jango loomed over his table.
“Krull.” He was a mediocre warrior from Concord Dawn with possible ties to Kyr’tsad. “Found something that belonged to you.” He flipped the knife out of his sheath and into his palm, showing the hilt to the other man.
“Last I saw that, I left it in a Jetii.” Krull’s grin widened. “Though from the sounds of it, the shabuir lived.” The men sandwiching Krull snickered and chortled.
Jango flipped the blade towards them. “And he then gifted it to me.” Krull’s smile fell slightly at Jango’s proclamation. It was all the warning he gave them before he vaulted over the table.
Jetii - Jedi
Kyr’tsad - Death Watch
Shabuir - Bastard

Why do you think Chase didn't step in during the events of Wu Got The Power. Considering how he stepped in when Hannibal and co were trying to trick Omi with Omi Town, it feels like Chase would have wanted to stop Hannibal from getting Omi struck by lightning to give himself ultimate power.
How do you think things would've gone in that episode had Chase decided to enter the situation?
The non-diegetic answer is because it’s season three, a season where Chase largely just disappears. The famously paranoid and meticulous Chase was unusually disinterested in what Hannibal got up to all season long.
Wu Got the Power is especially egregious there because (1) Hannibal was about to become “the most destructive force in the universe” if that plan worked, (2) he’d do so by stealing Omi’s power, which Chase still wants for himself. Not to mention Chase’s personal relationship with Omi.
But something that is pretty consistent is that Chase prefers not having to deal with Hannibal directly unless his hand is forced. Chase is a very Art-of-War type: He doesn’t go into battles he’s not sure he can soundly win, and although Chase tries to hide it, he is scared of Hannibal. So maybe we could say that’s why he stayed out of it? But that explanation still sounds pretty unsatisfying.
I’d love to reshape it from the ground up to be all about Hannibal, Chase, and Omi having this intense power struggle and mind game.
But if I were to rewrite the events of the episode while still sticking to its basic plot beats and keeping in mind that this is the preantepenultimate of the series, (also not caring about budgeting runtime, and more like laying out an outline for a multichapter fic)...
Here’s a version of the episode where the monks have a smidge more personality, Jack has a smidge more personal agency, and Chase (and Wuya) get some screentime.
Tumblr media
Maybe I’d have it start with Chase looking through his Crystal ball, trying to see what Hannibal is up to today. He’s interrupted by Wuya, but the scene changes before we see what’s up there.
Tumblr media
I’d have the monks start out with the scene of Fung handing out the Elemental Shen Gong Wu. The vault’s been raided so many times that having Fung feel the need to break them after after one more break-in feels odd, just have him give the kids a power up and tell them to use it wisely.
Before they have time to practice with them, Dojo senses a new Wu awakening. The gang flies out to retrieve the Denshi Bunny. Omi enjoys the thunderstorm.
Jack has arrived on the scene first, and he hasn’t reached the Wu yet, but he’s close. He’s about to grab it, so they throw on their Elemental Shen Gong Wu and do everything they can to keep him away from it. It’s a big, chaotic, explosive mess, poor control and no sync between each other, but it’s also such a massively powerful display that they manage to send Jack flying Team-Rocket style despite the clumsiness. They get the Bunny without even having to do a showdown, but are exhausted and shell-shocked from the ordeal, especially Omi, who sort of turned a light thunderstorm into a mix between a hurricane, a blizzard, and a sauna, which really threw everyone else off.
It’s in Omi’s nature to act the most at odds with his element since he tries to stick to rigid temple lessons and forced maturity, when water is supposed to be fluid and creative, so it’d make sense that Omi struggles the most with his elemental Wu, even though none of them are good with them at first.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Jack’s sour over the whole experience. The monks got this sudden powerup out of nowhere, and he already feels like he’s been left behind by Wuya. Hannibal pops up to mock him about it with Hannibal’s typical mindgames and skill with reading people. He goes on about how Jack used to be tit-for-tat, but now he’s just a bumbling little kid falling behind while the monks are getting stronger and faster and more mature. They’re moving forward, and Jack’s only ever regressing, outclassed by both the Xiaolin warriors and the other big Heylin warriors. Really stirs up his insecurities. Hannibal insists that he can close the growing power gap between them. And now Jack has an actual reason to follow Hannibal like a puppy for this ep.
Omi is embarrassed over his poor performance on the mission, especially after some light cajoling and more vague koans from Master Fung. All the monks train to practice their their elemental Wu, but Omi goes out to the river/waterfall with his Wu to practice all day and all night alone, until he could finally get in tune with his element.
Like in the episode, he falls asleep, Hannibal and Jack talk while Hannibal insists he doesn’t have to tell Jack anything about the plan, and then Ying-Ying flies Hannibal close to get into Omi’s head and convince him to master the other elemental Shen Gong Wu. Omi does so, feeling hypnotically compelled despite not knowing where the thought came from. Omi practices with all the elements all night, and we come to the episodes predicament.
From here, same plot beats as in the episode, although I’d like it if the other monks had a personality and their bond actually means something to them. Also, Hannibal and Jack raid the temple for the Wu they need for this thing during the chaos that comes from Omi accidentally destroying the temple, hence Fung and the others being surprised that the Sphere of Yun and some other things are gone.
Also, Omi is the one to suggest they lock him in the Sphere of Yun to contain him, and when they see the Sphere is gone and the whole vault has been raided, again.
Tumblr media
Omi sees some hint that it was stolen by Jack (like a pudding cup lying around or something), and blames himself for weakening their defenses so much that Jack could empty them out.
Omi runs away himself in the middle of the night in secret. (It’d make way more sense than being shooed off by his friends who keep screaming at him to keep going for that overextended gag.) He tries to write a goodbye letter to his friends again, but any paper or writing utensil he tries to hold burns to ashes in his hands, so he can’t even do that. As quietly as he can manage, he wanders off into the wilderness with little more than the clothes on his back.
Hannibal smirks and cackles evilly.
Tumblr media
Next scene is the other monks waking up the next morning and realizing that things are suddenly really calm and quiet when they wake up. Too calm and quiet, after all those walking disasters yesterday. They check and realize that Omi is gone.
They try to figure out what happened and where he went and go back and forth about it for a bit.
Clay says that maybe Omi accidentally blew himself away while he was asleep and that maybe he was nearby, but the destruction nearby is too spread out and irregular for them to follow as a breadtrail.
Kimiko says Omi might have run away, and asks if Dojo can sense him to find him, but despite Omi having absorbed all the energy of the Wu, Dojo can only sense Wu themselves.
Raimundo says that Omi would probably have left a letter if he left by choice, so he assumes that Omi has been kidnapped. They jump on Dojo and quickly head to the person who would be Raimundo’s top suspect for such a thing: Chase Young.
Tumblr media
They storm the lair, which is surprisingly lax on security for once. The jungle cats are currently incapacitated somehow, and Chase is currently wrapped up in a scuffle with Wuya and whatever Wu she has on hands, maybe some extra tricks lent to her by Hannibal or something. He’s not really struggling with it, and seems more like he’s mocking her while she goes on about how she’s going to get back the power and position that he’d stolen from her.
Clay lassoes her, Kimiko yells that she doesn’t care about whatever lover’s spat that they’re in the middle of, and Raimundo agrees and demands Chase tell them what he did with Omi. Chase is visibly confused, then realizes that he’s been had and Wuya’s whole thing has been an act and a diversion. Time means so little and they’re both so used to being patient that the two immortals had thought nothing of wasting days straight in this pointless fight. He transforms and glares at Wuya and demands to know what Hannibal is doing right now, and Wuya just smirks with a “Wouldn’t you like to know?” and vanishes. Or maybe she gets incapacitated. Idk. She’s done for the episode.
Either way, Chase calls his crow and quickly sends him out do recon, then turns towards the monks and demands to be filled on what’s happened, and says he can find out the easy way or the hard way, but he’s going to find out quickly.
Scene change again!
Tumblr media
Hannibal finds Omi and captures him in the Sphere of Yun, as in the show. Omi is confused, because he was sure that Jack was the one who raided the temple.
This Jack pops out and says it was him, and that him and HB have teamed up for evil world domination, with a similar cocky swagger as Jack had in Oil in the Family.
They take him to the mountain lab that Hannibal and Jack have set up, but instead of having a million unexplained Jacks to test it on, Hannibal does the demonstration on a very willing Ying-Ying, who turns big and buff and pokemon-like.
Hannibal says that that’s just a taste of the power he’ll get once he gets some help from some lightning and saps Omi dry. This would also be a good place to lay some solid but semi-vague hints about the big plan Hannibal has for the world that has Chase so terrified. Hannibal laughs evilly, and Jack laughs along, saying Omi and the Xiaolin losers will have to watch and weep while he and Hannibal take over the world. Hannibal makes an offhand remark that Chase’s little protégé there won’t be watching much of anything from his shallow, unmark grave. Jack asks what exactly’s gonna happen to cheeseball once they’re done here, and Omi calls out to him and tries to win Jack over, saying that even though Hannibal is an evil bean through and through, he knows Jack still has good in him, and he still believes in Jack after everything. There’s a minor callback to The Apprentice.
Tumblr media
Jack is about to shut down/destroy the machine and says that he doesn’t need to take crap from some Bean after all, but Ying-Ying stops him, and now Hannibal Zing-Zom-Bones him.
The zombified Jack gets back to work manning the machine, and Hannibal says that now that Jack is quiet and Omi will be shut up soon too, he’ll finally get a bit of peace. And once they’re done with this, all the humans will be a lot quieter too, and Hannibal will have more space to spread his wings. Omi demands to know what he plans to do, but Ying-Ying squawks and flies at a crow, sending it away. Hannibal smirks and says it’s about time for them to move things along, before they get even noisier company.
Tumblr media
Omi watches helplessly as Hannibal calls forth a storm with the Lunar Locket. Omi tries desperately to break free to disperse the storm, but all his powers are firmly held tight within the ball.
Suddenly, Chase and the monks teleport in. The monks complain about how nauseous they are from that mode of transportation and vow to never complain about Dojo or the Shen-Ga-Roo again. Ying-Ying swoops in like a video game boss and Chase tells them that they’re free to lay down and die, then they won’t have anything to complain about at all. Chase leaps out of the way, and the monks clumsily dodge and try to shake off the vertigo.
Tumblr media
They all struggle against Ying-Ying, who easily keeps them all busy while Hannibal crawls into his chamber and prepares to steal the power. Omi yells for someone to get the Zing Zom Bone, and Chase sends the agile crow to grab it and toss it to the monks. Raimundo uses it to free Jack and demands he stop the machine right now. Jack panics, as there’s no way for him to get through the fail safes that quickly, but he digs through the Wu they have and throws Omi the Denshi Bunny right before the lightning strikes.
The lightning still hits, and Omi has vanished, but so has Hannibal. Jack and the monks sadden as they come to the conclusion that both Hannibal and Omi are gone for good. Even Ying-Ying stops and panics as she searches for any sign of her master. Chase bristles and looks up at the sky as it starts to rain and he senses both his apprentice and his former mentor up above. Chase says they’ve both been turned into pure energy.
Tumblr media
Hannibal and Omi’s fight goes like it did in the show, and Ying-Ying is cheered up to see that her master is still alive and gets back to fighting Chase and the monks while Jack screams and hides from her attacks. Chase tries to interfere with Hannibal vs Omi with his Heylin magic and elemental control, so most of Ying-Ying’s attention is on trying to get in Chase’s way.
Meanwhile, the three monks get some answers from Jack (because the exposition of just watching a video of everything at Jack’s house in the original episode was so clunky).
Tumblr media
The battle is not going in Omi’s favor, and Omi crashes down to the ground. Hannibal cackles and prepares to fly off, and Raimundo keeps him in place as well as he can with the strongest storm winds he can whip up around them as a temporary solution. Hannibal banters at Raimundo in a callback to Dream Stalker from a few eps ago, and Raimundo banters back.
Omi cries about how’s he’s chewed off more than he can bite and this is all his fault and he doesn’t know if he can stop Hannibal. His friends give him some encouragement.
Clays says clouds are like horses, and when you fall off, you should get back up. Kimiko says he’s the only one who can stop Bean, and she knows he can do it. Raimundo teases Omi, saying it’s not like him to just give up. Jack says it’s not all Omi’s fault, and says he’ll shoulder, like, 1% of the blame here. The others glare at him and he bumps it up to 2%. Omi cracks a smile at his friends and apologizes for running away and for hurting them again, and thanks them for everything.
They’re interrupted a crash as Ying-Ying is thrown down, now trapped in the Sphere of Yun herself. Stepping on the orb while Ying-Ying thrashes about angrily, Chase growls out that this is no time for meaninglessly sentimental displays like this.
In spite of saying that, Chase floats up with his still-unexplained powers of levitation and tells Omi that he knows how well Hannibal can get into his head and psyche him out, but if Omi just focuses on what he does best, Chase is certain that he can knock that insect back down to size. “After all,”  Chase says, reaching out. Omi is surprised he can actually feel Chase’s hand on his head, what with his incorporeal form at the moment. (It’s theoretically possible since Chase could touch Wuya while she was a ghost.) “You’re the one I chose as my apprentice. The only ones who are going to take this world are you and I. We won’t let Hannibal do as he pleases.”
Raimundo cuts in and tries to hurry things along, struggling to keep Hannibal from escaping at this point.
Tumblr media
After everyone’s successful pep talk, Omi heads back up and takes over the fight again, this time only using his water techniques.
They fight with all they have until they explode in a burst of energy, just like in the show. The shockwaves undo everything, Ying-Ying is turned back to normal. Omi and Hannibal vanish again, but reappear falling out of the sky, Omi lands near his friends, and Chase catches him. Hannibal lands near enough to Ying-Ying that he can set her free and fly off. He vows vengeance to them all, “and their little half dragon too,” sharing a glare with Chase.
Chase sets down the very exhausted little monk, and in a surprisingly open moment, Chase kneels down and hugs Omi, visibly relieved that he’s still alive. It’s almost imperceptible, and the others definitely can’t see it, but Omi can feel that Chase is shaking and realizes just how terrified Chase is of Hannibal. Chase pulls himself together and straightens back up, calling his crow over. He tells them all to try not to hand Hannibal everything he wants next time, unless they want the again-mentioned future that would be far worse than 1000 years of darkness. Then, Chase vanishes, as he often does.
Left with more questions than answers, but still ultimately relieves, everyone says that they’re happy to have Omi back, and happy to see that all that excess power seems to have dispersed now, so they can all safely go back to the temple.
But first, they look over at Jack, who is still just in the corner.
Tumblr media
Jack rears back, thinking they’re looking for a fight and insists again that he bruises easily and he’s had a long day.
But they just thank Jack for doing the right thing in the end and helping free Omi. Omi invites Jack over in case he wants to join the group hug, and Jack insists that he’s above lame things like that, but also says that he’s too tired to argue and lets Clay pull him in.
End of Episode.

ya got any plot points for swapnauts that you're willing to share? Also I would like to hear more of the aquatos backstory.
*Indeed!
Given that Milla’s swapped with coach, the idea of a meat circus is scrapped and replaced with the idea of Musical Orphanage (with the curtsy of one of my friends) Leading Past Milla to the children and the giant bunny abomination is replaced with the souls of the children murged into one being
Lili goes into Bob’s mind in order to figure out more about the psychic 7 / 6. Main point is that she finds a memory vault containing Bob’s nightmares of losing Helmut
*Also for the Aquato’s, Augustus and Donatella basically worked with the psychic 6 and by the time the group was basically traumatized from the battle was the time the motherlobe was announced to the public. The kids only grew up knowing the comic books because they weren’t allowed to see what was going on, and if they asked it’d probably be pushed over with a another related topic

Sigh. This has such King Steve at the ballet school for me. Harringrove Ballet!Au is getting firmer and firmer in my mind.
Steve's mom is a retired professional who founded a private conservatory school to train young dancers. She knew Billy's mom. They danced together back in the day and were besties. They drifted apart over the years but kept in touch, swapped pictures of their boys in pointe shoes and tights. But then Billy's mom got sick and his dad started to change for the worst. He made Billy drop out of ballet to do "manlier" things but Billy's mom still encouraged him to dance. He kept practicing to make her happy. When she died, she left everything to Billy and wrote a letter to her old friend begging her not to let him squander his gift the way she did. Billy's tallented, Neil's out of work again and that Harrington woman says her school has a generous financial aide package for him to manage, so Billy finds himself shipped off to a fancy private school in the middle of Indiana before he can blink. He's pissed as hell about it.

Fic Idea Vault #11: Another SW Fix-it Fanfic Idea - The Shadow´s Plan
S I G H who wants to hear another of my plot bunnies that I will probably never write?
I'm writing it down bc it's a plot bunny so big it actually came with little bunnies =.= And it is such a big idea I just have to write it down, you know before it consumes my soul more
Star Wars ofc bc I'm currently just on that hyper fixation
Not a complete fix it, definitely lots of angst but also found family, drama, misunderstandings and the disaster lineage being a disaster
TLDR; Qui Gon manages to reach out to his master after his death and prevents Dooku from falling; Dooku confines in Yaddle who is the head of the Jedi Shadows and they start trying to stop the Sith's plans but things still happen, namely O66 is given out and the Empire rises with Anakin as Vader, but secretly, he had the younglings saved and all Jedi's deaths are "staged", moving them all to a secret planet while he becomes the inside man with the Sith after Dooku dies. Obi Wan, Ahsoka, and others' stories remain the same as everyone keeps secrets, pretends to be bad or fallen, the twins are separated and Padmé lives to lead the rebellion, meanwhile in Palps perfect Empire, his second in command keeps the Jedi safe with his "inquisitors" and a bunch of bounty hunter Mandos who never take off their helmets (wink wink) who are very good at finding Jedi and "eliminating them". It will end with everyone reuniting at some point some 7 or 8 years into the empire and Anakin becoming the chosen one by taking off Palps head :). But things wouldn't be so easy, families have been torn apart and being able to trust again is not easy when you thought your loved ones had died and or had fallen to the dark and were out there commiting murder in the galaxy. But maybe with the help of the galaxy's cutest twins and anyone they rope into their shenanigans they might just be able to set their family back together. Will feature Anidala, Codywan, Kesett, and a bunch of other ships, people adopting just about every teen and child around, DinLuke in the future and also all your faves that "died" not actually dead :) and that's it basically, if you want a more detailed breakdown, keep reading ;)
- Galidraan happen differently and Jaster and Jango survived with a bunch of True mandalorians, leading Dooku to investigate more closely and keep in contact with Jango
- I am not making Komari to be in love with Dooku, but rather she has more problems with anger and is actually choosen to become a Shadow and fakes going crazy to get inside info on the illegal substance trade
- Dooku is busy with all his investigations so he does not meet Obi, but he sets Rael to watch over Qui Gon and this leads others to wack Qui Gon when he is being a dick, which leads to a better padawanship for Obi, also Tahl does not die here but she does lose her sight and leaves for the AgriCorps (Obi deserves a mom figure)
- The true mandos and the new mandos start working together to take down death watch and get help from the jedi after they find someone is helping DW aka Palps
- Everything about Padme being almost killed, finding Anakin and Qui Gon dying is the same, but Qui Gon, now one with the force gets glimpses of the future and makes more of an effort to reach out to his family to warn them
- Dooku feels that Qui Gon is around and is very concerned, so he reaches out to Yaddle thinking he is going crazy and together Qui Gon is able to sorta communicate
- Dooku "falls" to be an inside man with the sith and takes in Ventress (but he is actually nice and get help from Komari and Yaddle to help the girl fake being dark, Komari is used as the prize to help decide who should be the template for the clone army (Syfo Dyas goes to Dooku only after he was pushed to make the order to the Kaminoans and they figure out Palps manipulated him to do it, so he has to also “die”
- Jango is still chosen to be the template for the clone army after he choose to leave Komari alive, and he recognizes Dooku and is included in the plan to secretly take out the sith trying to take over the galaxy. He still asks for Boba (he thinks the clones will be souless but quickly changes his mind as the first batches show that they are all individuals so he makes sure to have many of his True Mandos train and teach their culture to the clones). Jaster dies later on trying to defend Mandalore but this time Jango is not against the Jedi and welcomes their help as everyonw is suspicious of this clone army that the Jedi def didn´t ask for
- Obi Wan still raises and trains Anakin (albeit has a lot more people helping him, namely his Padawan brother Feemor and others from afar, including Dooku, Komari, Rael, Tahl and the Council) Qui Gon comes to both of them through dreams and Anakin can sometimes see him, but Qui Gon prefers to save his energy in case Dooku or the Shadows need him in stopping the Sith and their plans
- The clones are not treated well by the Kaminoans but they are raised more Mandalorian and their chips are reprogrammed (they can´t take them out bc it would be too suspicious) so now Jango can be the only one to override the orders Palps gives
- Dooku knows that Palps has his eye on Anakin but they can't do much except make sure to keep an eye on him, Anakin and Obi have a better support network so they are much more open. Anakin misses his mom and Obi is able to talk to others about maybe getting her freed
- Komari is still pulling the strings on the spice trade and has a lot of pirates working for her that secretly free worlds.Tatooine is freed but many people remain there and to the wider galaxy they are still under the crime lords. Shmi marries and has Owen and when Anakin is 15 they go to visit and he gets to meet his brother. Shmi is also in on the secret Shadow mission that Dooku is part of when he figures out that Palps might do something to her to break Anakin, She promises to keep an eye out and given that the world is free, the Tusken riders are actually making deals and becoming friends with the general population so no chance they will kill her. Palps does not know this :)
- The war still begins, Shmi must fake her death and is also taken to live out with others who have “died” like Syfo Dyas, Yaddle, Komari and in the end Jango as well (he impaled himself on Mace Windu´s saber so that is how he is clued in finally that there are secrets the Shadows are keeping), Anakin gets there in time to send his mom off, and must fake that he lost her (she can´t tell him the full truth only that someone is trying to isolate him and that he should only trust the Jedi, this leaves him with more questions than answers and while Padme Is safe from suspicion, Palps isn´t and he is more weary of him from then on)
- Ahsoka still becomes his padawan and he loves being her master and teaching her, everyone bonds with the clones and there are a lot more losses on the Separatists side than on the Republic side. Anakin still is with Padme (they don´t marry yet but plan to after the war is over).
- Boba is taken care of and also becomes a player in the Shadow plan, pretending to hate Jedi and learning to be a bounty hunter. Any losses that the GAR has are actually instances in which the clones are placed as mandalorians that never take their armor off and help settle a secret planet full of refugees
- Lots of things still happen, Maul is someone that gets help after Dooku clues in his mother and the rest of the Nightsisters on their secret plans and she manages to get him to be less murdery. Ventress helps alot in that regard as she pretends to be bad. As the end of the war draws close, Anakin starts having visions and then Padme ends up pregnant and he is very scared, although this time he does go to Obi Wan, who promises to help him out but Palps won´t let them stay together for long and keeps pushing for Anakin to be alone. Anakin is given a message that Ahsoka is next to be targeted and he urges here to resign (although this time, the Council don´t want her to leave but rather to have her have a trial within the order) and leave the Jedi, telling her that she needs to be safe as something else is happening. She is angry he won´t talk to her but agrees to take her men and Rex and help out Mandalore (which is not actually under Maul´s control, rather DW is acting up and Satine also had to “die”, although Bo-Katan is not in on it and is putting her foot in her mouth by still using the DW to get Maul out) Ahsoka is almost told the truth of the secrets of the Shadow plan but Dooku “dies”, O66 is given out and suddenly Palps is saying all Jedi are traitors.
- The real changed Order 66 is to have all Jedi incapacitated and to fake their deaths and destroy all temples, moving the Jedi to their safe planet. Since no one was expecting this so soon, lots of Jedi think they have been betrayed, so Cal Kestis and Ahsoka and Rex are forced to flee. Yoda and the Council go for Palps and Anakin realizes that if he doesn´t step in, they will be killed. So he pretends to Fall and throws everyone out the windows where the Guard catch the dead and take them off planet. Then Anakin takes the 501st and has them all take the children and Jedi left at the temple to safety and burns the temple down to. Obi Wan thinks that his soldiers have turned and leaves the planet, Yoda escapes and mistakenly thinks Anakin has fallen and him and Obi make their plans.
- Padme thinks that Anakin has also fallen and her and Obi go to confront Anakin, and a fight breaks out. He is trying to make them understand but still has an anger issue and with Palps darkness around him he still tries to take down Obi Wan. He doesn´t hurt Padme but seeing her scared has him pretend to fall into the lava to have them escape. She gives birth in space and survives barely. They fake their deaths and Padme even has a whole funeral (Sabe and the others are in on her plan to die to start a rebellion), which Anakin believes so he stops trying to look for them and focuses on the plan that Dooku and the others had been constructing for years.
- Padme knows the twins will be in danger together and she wants to help the rebellion take back the Galaxy, so Leia still goes to the Organas and Luke is sent to Tatooine. (She knew that Shmi survived but has no way of knowing where she might be and trusts Obi Wan to try to get that info). When the news reach Tatooine, all communication Shmi might have with Owen is cut and he believes that Anakin killed her after he went dark. He was never told the full truth so he doesn´t know of the Shadow plan, but Beru wants to keep Luke and  agrees:
- Anakin dons the Vader suit while everyone thinks he died. Secretly they run their own rebellion faction apart from the one that Padme and Ahsoka have. Clones are choosen to be bounty hunters that get Jedi lost in the Galaxy. Some Jedi choose to be Inquisitors like Reva and Trilla who pretend to be dark now but actually are with Anakin in hopes of taking down Palps.
- 8 years pass, and Leia gets kidnapped by Palps orders, making Obi go after her with a little Luke who felt his sister´s distress along for the ride. Cue in everyone trying to find Obi and the twins, from real Inquisitors, to Anakin and his fake inquisitors pretending to be bad but secretly wanting to finally get Obi Wan back and in on the plan, to Padme and Ahsoka on the side of the Rebellion, to Cal and his crew thinking they will save some poor force sensitive children from the Empire. Its a whole adventure, filled with everyone finally coming together and truths being revealed.
- The twins meet various family members they didn´t know they had, everyone who is in love being an idiot (Padme and Anakin, Obi and Cody, Cal and Boba) while also families being idiots and not communicating (Obi and Anakin, Qui Gon and Obi, Shmi and Owen, Cal and Jaro Tapal, Ahsoka and Anakin and Obi, the disaster lineage in general). Funny enough, Boba and Jango are the best family around alongside Dooku and Ventress, so they end up running interference alongside the Twins.
- Also, Din is here and he was adopted by Jango so he is Boba´s little brother. Han is also here and helps out in the Twins shenanigans.
- in the end, Anakin and the adults go after Palps and Anakin can fulfill his destiny as the choosen one. He decides to leave the order and after some time, him and Padme get married. The galaxy is still shit, but there are a lot of people in better states that soon everyone is able to be better. With the Agricrops Jedi still here, they immediately set out to help the worst planets. The inquisitors are no match for Jedi and Clones and the Rebellion Padme and Ahsoka build is a better basis for a better republic. Lots of slavery and spice trade was erradicated thanks to the efforts of the Shadow´s work, and its all better for everyone.
Bonus, Cal and Boba push for Din and Luke and Leia and Han in the future when everyone is at least 20 and various parents and family get in the way.

8 from the fanfic asks for the new year!
8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?
I dont think there is? There's one I'm afraid to ever try again, but it was like a lot of the plot bunnies I get, in that I just...jump into it. I'll still panic and second-guess lol but I try, because it'll never happen otherwise.
That said, there is an arranged marriage/soulmate plot I've had for more than a year now that I haven't attempted. Not sure if I'll get to it this year, not because I'm not brave enough to write it though. I dont know if I'd be brave enough to post it lol

new year ask meme! 2, 8, 23.
2. Will you participate in any fandom exchanges or fic challenges, etc?
I love the idea in theory but I get too stressed out in practice. With exchanges, I always worry it will be BAD or at the very least that the ideas won't come and I won't finish. And challenges... I also get too stressed out lol. But I'm glad people find them useful.
8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?
Oh man, I actually don't think there's anything I've held back on? I didn't trust myself with smut for ages and only tried my hand at it a couple of years ago because I had a story I really wanted to write. Otherwise I tend to just throw myself into things. If anything will require bravery, it will be posting more of my GO AU, not because I think it's bad but because all the ideas I have for it are 1000% just for an audience of me. There is no good way to fit them into the existing arc I created, I just have little plot bunnies for them always.
23. Would you like to go on a writing retreat?
I think it could be fun, especially if I knew anyone or the location was nice. Particularly, I suppose, if the location was nice because then it's just doing what I'm doing but with better scenery. If nothing else, I figure the people there couldn't be any more insufferable than some of the people in my writing classes during my college days lol. And I'm always trying to become a better writer.

Okay I tried to find the most interesting ones here (at least ones I didn’t necessarily already know the answer to 😆): 8, 9, 24
Thanks for the ask, friend!!
8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?
In my mental vault...I have stuffed away my Goldsick Fic - which you may remember the plot bunny "Wretched & Divine" I still have plans to do it, but it is highly intimidating to me as I don't see myself as being good at angst writing - but I am trying to believe in myself a little bit more and maybe can finally start poking at it.
9. Short term goals… what do you hope to complete this week or in January?
I am hoping to complete (this week) chapter 17 of my longest running fic (baby's first fanfic) - "May Your Forge Burn Bright"! And hoping to complete the last chapter this month too, so that can be out of the way. I also wouldn't mind getting a few other chapters for other stories written, such as "Bookbinder//Songwriter", "Kurdu 'abadaz", and "As The Tide Turns"! It's a lot to handle, but I am hopeful that maybe I can accomplish most of these things!
24. By the end of this year, you want your fandom to think of you as “that author who _______.”
This is such a hard question lol I just want to be seen as a positive influence in the fandom, and for one of my fics to be someone's favorite/recommendation. I see so many of the same few (but amazing!) old fics being the "recommendation" everyone gives, and want to see the fandom make way for newer authors <3
