in sickness and in health [vladimir]
description: Can you do prompt 37 for vladimir please?
prompts: "try to eat something."
requested by: anon
warnings: none
i love picturing vladimir as being totally helpless to his human mate in completely ordinary situations,, thanks for requesting!! <3
Tumblr media
"vlad, i am fine." you laughed at him through your stuffy nose as he approached with yet another cup of chicken broth. you had been laid up in bed for the past 2 days and vladimir had waited on you hand and foot in your consciousness.
to be fair, you had a horrible cold - if you could even call it that. the day before, you were almost tied with vladimir's worry for yourself and wondered if you should take his advice and go to the hospital.
you couldn't keep food down, you were sweating horribly, your heart was racing, your head was pounding, and you could barely stay awake for more than 10 minutes at a time. somehow, you had managed to talk your mate down from rushing you to dr. cullen, but promised that if you weren't better in a few days, you'd go see a doctor.
in a welcomed boost of energy, vladimir was tied to your side and doing his best to nurse you back to health. he had called carlisle anyway, begging and pleading for any information he could get on how to tend to you.
"try to eat something, please, my love." he passed the warm cup to you, sitting beside you on the bed and assisting it to your lips. "you haven't eaten in two days."
you wrinkled your nose at the cup, your stomach twisting just at the smell. still, the helpless look in vladimir's eyes had you opening your lips only slightly to allow some of the broth into your mouth. vlad's lips quirked up the slightest bit, happy that you were trying.
your efforts were pointless though, for in the next moment you were reaching for the trashcan and throwing up once more. tears stung your eyes as you emptied your stomach and you sighed, tiredly when you finally finished. "i'm sorry."
vladimir's cold lips felt nice against your warm head. "don't apologize, my love."
"i promise you can take me to carlisle tomorrow." you reached towards his hand, squeezing it once before placing it against your forehead.
"or i could change you now and you will never deal with this again." his voice was soft, but you knew how serious he was. you closed your eyes.
"we'll see how tomorrow goes."
vladimir sighed, knowing he would have to wait a little while longer before he could turn you too. he swung his legs up onto the bed, cuddling in closer to you and pulled you to his chest. his lips pressed to your forehead again as you began to drift back into sleep. "i'll call first thing in the morning."

When Our Castle’s Fell (Vladimir x Reader)
Tumblr media
It was routine. Every century people fought for their ranks. Fail to make a ranking and you're out. When you're out...well it was the end of the line. This far into the war against the Volturi and the Egyptian coven being a little too close for comfort, well no one wants to be in that situation.
Vladimir was alone in his Chambers, concentration buried in theories, an attempt to anticipate the Volturi's next move. Suddenly, he was aware of a presence. "We'll win." You said softly. "You should announce yourself. That's bad manners." Vladimir replied, continuing to focus on the parchments in front of him. "Apologies." You said quickly, leaning off of the archway of the door and entering the room, moving to his side. "I thought it rather redundant since you'd know I was here anyway." You explained. "Regardless, manners will take you far." He responded. "Pardon me for prying but, is that battle plans?" You asked. "Indeed it is." Vladimir nodded. "The Volturi rebels are gaining numbers." Vladimir pointed to a circle with symbols in the middle. "They're going east and have encountered the Egyptian coven no doubt. Stefan believed they'd be wiped out by the Egyptians yet they're still here and growing in numbers." Vladimir furrowed his brow. "Is that us?" You pointed to the large circle covering the map. "Yes...this is how much territory we inhabit and our numbers, a significant difference as you could probably tell." "No." You winced at your response, looking at him almost meekly. "You do not know how to read, do you?" Vladimir asked. "Nor write." You added. Vladimir rolled his eyes. "One day, you ought to learn." "Hm...likely not enough time for that." You said quietly. "How so?" Vladimir paused, quill hovering. "I might not make it past noon tomorrow." You replied quietly. A heavy silence filled the room. "Such an attitude won't help you. You might as well take off your own head if you're going to brood." Vladimir finally said. "I apologise." You said quietly. "To whom? Yourself? That's the only person you're failing." Vladimir responded. "You're replaceable, it's your responsibility to remain alive and prove yourself worthy. The better fighter you are, the more you earn your eternity. Don't listen to Cyrus either. Luck will only get you so far. I don't give a damn what the fool says." Vladimir finished and you cracked a smile. "Of course. Better safe than sorry." You agreed. "Exactly. I don't understand why some of your peers can't do the same." 'Because I actually like listening to you talk.' You thought to yourself.  You admired Vladimir. He was a very impressive man. He caught your eye almost immediately and you were yet to look away. Although Vladimir was spoken for and you certainly weren't going to step out of line. You couldn't be sure what would have killed you first. The fury of Vladimir or the fury of his mate. Both had a frightening reputation and you didn't want to cross either of them. "Maybe so, but they certainly have more to show for your wisdom than I do." Vladimir sighed before rising to a stand.
You felt a quick but light slap to the face. You blinked cupping your face as you looked shocked by Vladimir's actions. "That. That's your problem." He said simply. "You struck me..." You said with disbelief. "...why?" "That doesn't matter. Why comes later and I hardly touched you! The problem is that you didn't hit back!" Vladimir insisted. Your expression contorted to horror. "You're my leader! I couldn't-" "That's the problem! You care too much. You don't want to hurt anything beyond the humans you feed upon." He spoke with exasperation. "Stop caring so much! Those who attack you aren't going to care, why would you!?" He finished and you sighed with a nod. He was right. He grabbed your wrist tightly and pulled you closer to him, against his chest. "Give a damn about your survival. I'd hate to see your journey cut short because of an insufferable nobody like Roderick." Vladimir said icily. "Ah yes, he's quite the handful." You heard another male voice and both of you turned to see Stefan leaning against the door just as you had been. "I hope you're not giving our little friend some advantage, Vladimir." Stefan grinned. "Some will think that favouritism rumour is true." He teased. "Favouritism? Explain." Vladimir stepped back and crossed his arms. "Rumours are going around that you favour me over most of the g-" Stefan cut you off. "Now, now, dear. Be honest. The rumour is that he favours you over all of the guards." Stefan chuckled. Vladimir rolled his eyes. "What childish nonsense, (Y/N), you are dismissed." He said with a flick of his wrist.   "We hope to see you victorious tomorrow, (Y/N)!" Stefan called back as you hurriedly took your leave. "Your life depends on it!" He added cheerfully before turning back to Vladimir.
Vladimir sent him a cold look in response to Stefan's smirk. "Can I help you?" "You're really going to continue hiding it aren't you?" "You are over-stepping your bounds." Vladimir said icily. "Take caution in what you speak, such silly things to could have very severe consequences." Stefan moved closer to Vladimir. "Calm yourself, I only referred to the soft spot you have for them." Vladimir scoffed. "Even for that, I should have your head." Vladimir replied coldly. "Does she know?" Stefan asked lowly. "Who?" He asked. "Who else? Your mate, Vladimir." Stefan replied. Vladimir paused. "She knows enough." "Well you both seem to be unbreakable." "Just because we are mates doesn't mean she has to be pleased." Vladimir remarked. "Well (Y/N) is still walking around, head intact and as clueless as ever so I'd take it as a good sign. Besides if they do lose tomorrow. Well that problem solves itself, no?" Stefan asked. Vladimir grimaced. "Don't speak such things." "Don't tell me you're worried for them." Stefan tilted his head. Vladimir glared at Stefan. "I'm not making assumptions to your expense, friend." "I'd appreciate if you let this go." Vladimir said. Stefan sighed. "Fine, fine." He looked at the parchments on the desk. "I still don't understand how they've gotten passed the Egyptian coven." Stefan mused. "It's clear their gathering numbers." Vladimir crossed his arms. Although I can't help but feel the most recent change has been when..." Vladimir trailed off. "Go on." Stefan waited intently.  "All I wonder is, what on earth did they find in England that has given them such confidence?" Vladimir finished.
Many of the coven gathered from far and wide to see the battle for ranks. All found it nothing short of entertainment to the the lowest scamper for survival as most around the world did. The less you had, the less you were worth-a dynamic that throughout history would see empires rise and fall.
There were yells of excitement and cheers as your opponent, Roderick, made quick work of you. This would be an easy fight. Of that, all were certain. Roderick had you in a headlock and tugged harshly at your hair. "Go on! Cry for help like a helpless damsel in distress." He grinned maliciously. "Vladimir isn't going to save you. No one is going to save you." Something about his words stuck with you, like the sensation of your gut dropping. Vladimir's words came to mind. He said it himself, you treat everyone above yourself and don't want to hurt anyone. How many would give you the same treatment? You had been in this coven long enough to know the answer to that is no one. Stop trying to be nice. He's going to kill you and no one is going to save you. You spent so long fighting the very instinct that would keep you alive and if you didn't let instinct take over now then you were going to die. You kicked at the back of his knee. Roderick buckled as he hadn't expected the blow- not from you. Vladimir leaned forward in his seat which was noticed by Stefan on the other end of the line of leaders as well as his mate beside him. She frowned slightly sharing a glance with Stefan's mate. Vladimir couldn't look away, nor could anyone else at your sudden change, the tables turned quickly. Like something within you snapped, you didn't hesitate to attack with such speed and force that you overpowered Roderick, keeping Vladimir's training and advice at hand. With a hiss you tore off Roderick's head, his body falling to a crumpled heap on the ground. You tossed his head to the side as you fell to your knees with relief. The under-dog victorious.
The crowd roared in excitement and cheers. Some were stunned to silence at the unexpected victor. You looked to the leaders unease but a fire in your eyes that warned anyone about messing with you. The leaders rose to a stand, clapping. Some like Cyrus and Stefan were smirking, others remained stone-faced but clapped regardless. Some were clearly shocked such as Vladimir and Stefan's mates who clapped. None seemed more pleased than Vladimir. Whilst his smile wasn't as wide as others, the look in his eye was one of pride. You lay down breathing an unneeded sigh of relief. You had earned your place and managed to stay alive in the process. For another amount of time, you wouldn't have to find out the consequences of being decapitated. It wasn't known if the end would be exile or flames devouring your body piece by piece. Like many, you hoped to never find out.
When you were dismissed from the battlegrounds you were stopped by Vladimir's mate. Perhaps fate had other plans than letting you live after all. "You fought well." She didn't let on any emotion beyond her intense rigid stare. "In all honesty, I don't think I did. I got lucky. He didn't expect me to fight back and I can't blame him, because I didn't expect to fight back either." You replied. "Nevertheless, you were victorious and remain with us. You've proven yourself worthy to be here." She countered. "I appreciate the kind words, my lady." You bowed your head. "I understand your desire for my approval." She said bluntly. That was like a kick to the gut in itself. "You need not worry. Despite our heart's desires, you've shown great respect for me. I don't take that lightly." She folded her hands before her. "Of course." You nodded. "I don't want any trouble and I admire your input to the coven. That comes before everything." She nodded, reaching for your shoulder and squeezing it. "You're admirable, (Y/N). That's a divine quality to have for someone so young." "Thank you, my Lady." You bowed your head. "Vladimir will be very proud of your improvements. She looked over your shoulder. "I believe that he's quite eager to tell you that."
You looked over your shoulder to see Vladimir approaching with a smile.   "At last! I have hope for you yet!" Vladimir clasped his hands under his chin, eyes gleaming with glee. "Just as I was saying, Vladimir." His mate agreed with a small smile of her own. "I believe with some more training that you could climb the ranks fairly easily. Your precision you've shown today is certainly above standard for the lowest rank.” "All in due time, my love, all in due time!" Vladimir replied. "You have impressed us greatly on this day. I would advise you to keep this up." You nodded with a quick bow.  "Don't disappoint me." He warned you before taking his mates arm into his. "Come, we have fresh humans awaiting us." He grinned menacingly at his smirking mate. "Farewell, (Y/N)." Vladimir's mate said as she allowed herself to be tugged by Vladimir.
All seemed as it should. All was well and then it wasn't. The Volturi's first attack was hard hitting, the Romanian covens numbers dwindled greatly and there were even bigger losses. Stefan was one of many leaders to lose their mates. Vladimir kept his mate close at all times, frightened of losing her too. The coven quickly worked on expanding the coven once more, covering the losses and then some.  However, time ran short.
The second Volturi attack was swift and it seemed they sought their advantage to be the element of surprise. Fire surrounded you and climbed everything in sight, spreading quickly. Structures collapsed and war continued among the blaze. The Volturi were stupidly brave to approach the castles walls but to everyone's horror, despite being out numbered, the Volturi were holding their own thanks to two small newborn vampires. A boy with his hands and a girl who seemed to cause pain just by the mere glance. The girl could buy the boy some more time and together they had brought a full army to their knees. The others of the rebellion made quick work of the Romanians army as they simply dropped to the ground after touching a black mist coming from the boys hands. The Romanian coven had never seen such a thing and it deemed it as witchcraft. What kind of monsters were these two...? They certainly looked very young but an age couldn't be determined. They looked like they would have been married off by now and raising young but their was something about these two vampires beyond their gifts. They looked like children themselves to an extent. They looked pleased with themselves, the blonde girl more so than the boy. He looked slightly uneasy. However, the two wouldn't go anywhere near where the fire touched. They clearly knew something about vampire life.
Like many others, you found yourself submerged in rubble. Many were made quick work of before the could escape and what's left of the coven decided to scatter. You quickly pushed your way out of the rubble, fire crawling closer to you. Suddenly you were grabbed and your head snapped to the one who grabbed you. "Get up! Move now!" Vladimir barked at you, dragging you out of the rubble. The second you were stood, you fell to the ground, screaming in agony. Vladimir was stunned for a moment, confused by the action. His gaze darted in ever direction looking for a clue. He found one. The blonde girl was a few hundred yards away, smiling at your agony. Vladimir chose not to attack, much against his instincts and instead grabbed a long plank of wood that was ablaze. He threw it towards the blonde who's expression turned to fright. She shrieked and was gone in an instant as your yells died down. Vladimir tugged at you once again. "Come! We have to go!" He ordered.
The destination wasn't known, but the idea was to keep running until someone fell off the edge of the earth if need be. When you did stop you asked the dreaded question you didn't think you could stomach the answer. "Where's...where is everyone else?" Vladimir and Stefan turned to you sharply. "Else?" Stefan, repeated icily. "We're all that's left! There is no one else!" He bellowed, anger for the coven he lost and pain for the life he had lost too. Your eyes widened. "No but...there has to be... it can't just be us... what about-?" You cut yourself off quickly as Vladimir leaned upon a tree. His head lowered as he pressed his hands against the tree bark.
Some of the bark crumbled under the force of his fingers as the man was almost doubled over, his jaw tight and eyes shut. Realisation hit you hard. If Vladimir's mate wasn't with him then that likely meant she didn't make it. You swallowed hard, your eyes darkening by the second to match theirs. Tears would have spilled if your body could produce them. "What happened?" You mumbled brokenly. Vladimir gripped the tree tighter before lashing out in rage and despair for his fallen mate. He punched at the tree until it toppled. "We need to keep moving." Stefan insisted, tugging you forward. "Vladimir." Stefan demanded. "Who the hell are those brats!?" Vladimir demanded, almost feral. "Where did they come from!? I demand to know!" "We can't stay here!" Stefan snapped. "Tăcere!" Vladimir hissed. "She is dead and if we don't keep moving, so are we!" Stefan argued. "If you don't move now I will rip you apart myself and we'll take the pieces with us!" He barred his teeth as the two growled. "Please! Please, stop! We...we need to go! We can't turn on each other!" You pleaded. The two stopped, glaring at each other. "If not for yourself..." Stefan growled out before his hand darted out and yanked you forwards roughly. "Then do it for them. They haven't had a chance to live, do you want their death on your conscience too?" "I will rip out your tongue!" Vladimir threatened. "They are nothing to me!" Stefan retorted icily. "They aren't to you so if you want to keep them alive then you damn well move or rip their head off before the Volturi do it for you!" Vladimir grew quiet, staring at you. "Please..." You begged quietly. "...let's go." After a moment of heavy uncomfortable silence Vladimir muttered lowly. "Nu tu...nu tu." His hand shot out, tugging you from Stefan's grip and pushing you in front of him as he turned. "Move." He ordered quietly, when you tried to look at him. "We're right behind you." Stefan muttered.
Tăcere - Silence Nu tu...nu tu - Not you...not you

stefan with a mate who has problems showing affection?
I have two of these and I’m assuming you meaning showing physical affection because if you don’t show affection at all why are you even in a relationship. The whole point is to love the other person and try to adapt to what they need.
Im also just doing the entire coven because I don’t want another ask.
Vladimir
I say I’m doing both and immediately I’m about to ruin this man
You’re going to have to adapt
He is a physical person
Craves touch
It doesn’t have to be sexual and that’s not how I’m taking this ask so I hope that’s not what it was implying
But he needs to feel loved and if he doesn’t feel like you care, which he won’t if you don’t want any touch at all he isn’t going to stick around
Stefan
Again, this man has been without a significant other for so long he really would prefer someone that is at least willing to compromise.
But he will notice when you stay in near him or do a different activity in the same room just to accompany him
Give a kiss on the cheek a few times a day and he will be fine
Now. While I said that this isn’t sexual I want to make sure everyone knows that while it’s not everything it is very important in almost all relationships, so I would hope you are at least more physical in those moments or Stefan will leave. You will make him think you could leave him at any moment and give him too much anxiety for him to overlook

For years, I thought Vladimir and Stefan were together. It's a few day ago I learned they all had a mate. Maybe their mate weren't women but it's Stephanie Meyer the book writers so I doubt she wants to write gay vampires.
Oh a lot of those vampires came across as very gay contrary to her intentions. Shoutout to Zafrina, Senna, and Kachiri. And Aro and Carlisle, and Alice and Bella, and probably many others that are slipping my mind at the moment, Stefan and Vladimir not least among them. The Denali share their men, god knows what else.

Notes: I saw these two and KNEW what I had to do LMAO I used to be down bad for the Romanian coven way back in the day (specifically for vlad sorry I’m biased LMAO) and I think myself from two years ago would be proud of me for this one, enjoy the fic!!!
-
It all happened so fast. The way they sank their teeth into you, ripping into your flesh. How garbled your screams were as blood filled your throat, coughing it up. You could feel them sucking the blood out of you, growing woozy through the attack. Once it was all said and done, all you could do was lay there, wavering on the verge of death, processing what happened. One blond and one brunet. You’d never forget their faces- their bright red eyes.
But here you are, alive. Or, at least you think you are. You’re alive, but definitely not the same as you were. This time, you’re stronger. Angrier. Thirstier. There was a pit in your stomach, and you don’t know how to fill it. Your hands shake, feeling the indescribable urge to just attack; wanting nothing more than to rip your teeth into the nearest thing you see.
As you run through the forest- looking for anything to sate the adrenaline pumping through you, that is when you finally see them again. Their hair and eyes are unmistakably what you remember. Stopping dead in your tracks, you hide yourself in the tree line, ready to get some answers, or depending on if you could control yourself, ambush them.
They sit there on their logs, around a campfire, completely oblivious to your presence. Dropping from the tree line, you charge toward the blond, putting him in a headlock and pinning him chest first to a tree.
“What the fuck did you two do to me?” You snarl.
“Aw look, Stefan,” the blond laughs, crushed against the tree. “They survived!”
“Impressive strength, for a newborn.” You turn to hear the deep, amused laughter of the man, apparently named Stefan, from behind you. He shoots an entertained look at the blond, who looked at back at him with a smirk that gives you pause.
You quickly come to realize, that they are not afraid of you. Regardless, you stand your ground, keeping a firm grip on the blond.
“You two have five fucking seconds to tell me what happened to me or I’ll-”
“You’ll what? Kill us?” Stefan speaks up. “You hear that, Vladimir? The newborn thinks they can kill what is already dead!”
You freeze for a moment, confused. You’re completely taken off guard when Vladimir, the blond, breaks free from your grasp. There’s hardly enough time to fight back when you suddenly find yourself the one now pinned against the tree.
Their laughter rings in your ears; clear, low, and almost carnal. That pit in your stomach begins to churn, and not necessarily in a bad way. Vladimir’s body is impossibly close to you, with Stefan making his was beside you. You let out an audible exhale as you feel yourself be pushed further into the wood.
“So much fight…” Whispers Stefan.
“…For such a young thing,” finishes Vladimir. You can feel the back of his hand trail slowly down your cheek.
“You two are fucking sick,” you spit, turning your head away from him. His hand rapid makes its way beside you, dangerously close to your throat.
“We are not sick,” chuckles Vladimir, “it’s just difficult to talk when the one who wants answers is…”
“…Wound so tight?” You can hear Stefan’s voice coming from the other side of your ear. You wonder when and how he made it over to you so quick.
“Exactly,” replies Vladimir. “Which is why…” his hand drags over your throat. His grasp is cold, light, soothing the adrenaline that pumps from within you.
“…You need to relax.” Stefan is now directly at your side. You can feel his breath along the outside of your neck, down to your shoulder. He places a hand on your arm, soothing it down.
It kills you inside to know how much you’re enjoying this. You release some tension, signaling that killing them isn’t the only thing you want anymore. You take a deep breath in, swallowing your pride.
“Try anything, and I’ll rip you apart,” you whisper.
Your consent seems to be enough for them. You can feel Vladimir’s lips first, attacking your lips with fervor. Not far behind, Stefan’s lips make their way to your throat, hungrily, but not like when they drank the blood from you before. Their touch was something different completely. This was carnal.
You let out a soft moan as you feel a hand drop in between your legs, gathering your liquid arousal. Another pair of hands starts feeling you up, leaving no curve or crevice untouched.
“Wow,” Stefan groans softly. “Who new that a newborn would be so…”
“…Easy?” Finishes Vladimir.
The way they spoke in tandem was uncanny, similar to they way they worked together to touch you. Feeling a finger slip inside you, you grip the back of the tree so roughly, you could swear you hear a crack.
“Oh god,” you sigh, “h-holy fuck.” Your legs start to feel like jelly. Hearing the salacious chuckles from in front of you, you can only assume that Vladimir is the one finger fucking the daylights out of you, while Stefan gropes at you.
You can hear the sounds of a belt unbuckling and the sound of pants hitting the floor of the forest. You feel yourself being bent over, gripping to the tree for dear life. You hardly notice that your pants are down to your ankles, feeling the sensation of a stiffened cock teasing your inner thighs.
Looking in front of you, Stefan stands there expectantly. You take down his pants, freeing his length. You grip the shaft, firmly- as a warning. You look up at him dangerously, teasing him with a baring of teeth, before taking him into your mouth.
You let out a sudden whine when Vladimir eases himself inside of you. Stefan shudders as your moans vibrate around his cock.
“God look at you,” gasps Vladimir. “Getting ravaged like a whore.”
The degradation sends spasms of pleasure through you as he continues to fuck you. You try to talk back, but continue to muffle yourself on Stefan’s cock, where he generously allows you to control the pace. As you get the sense of where he seems to be enjoying himself too much, you slow down.
“Easy,” you direct. “T-tell your b-buddy up there to cool it with, fuck, with the remarks.” Stefan practically whines as you loosen up on him. Managing to keep your strength while getting fucked, you grip onto his leg, steadying yourself. You hear Vladimir bark out a sadistic laugh from above you.
“You’re funny,” he grunts, “thinking you have power here…”
“We know all the answers…” replies Stefan, halfway jerking himself off while you gingerly suck the head of his cock.
“…We know what you are,” croons Vladimir. His pace rocks into you mercilessly. You’re left almost breathless, feeling your orgasm rapidly approaching. You feel that if you come, you would be letting them win their strange game they seem to be playing with you. All that flies out the window when Vladimir’s cock hits the deepest part of you. You let out a restrained scream as your orgasm rips you in two.
You look up to find Vladimir and Stefan in an embrace, mouths attacking one another’s as you ride out the throes of your orgasm.
“You did so well, newborn.” Hums Vladimir.
“…But, we still have a long way to go…” chuckles Stefan.

can i ask about a poly relationship with the romanian coven?(twilight)thanks love
Tumblr media
A/N: Hi, I put these two together because they were close enough and I’m not sure how much stuff I have for these characters. Also, the Twilight Wiki didn’t tell me if the Romanian coven had like a last name type of thing but tell me if there is one.
-S
300ish words.
Tumblr media
Tanya and Kate Denali
Your relationship started when you met Tanya and almost immediately you realized that you had caught a massive crush to the vampire.
So, at first your relationship included just you and Tanya.
But while you lived with the coven Kate started to take a liking to you. She started to fall in love with you.
Kate first told Tanya of her new discovery and to her surprise Tanya wasn’t mad at all. So, with a long conversation with you, you started your relationship with Kate.
Kate is quieter and doesn’t really do PDA or affection outside of the privacy of your home, but it doesn’t mean she loves you any less. Actually, Kate is like a little puppy who wants to please you no matter what.
Tanya on the other hand is more vocal about her love for you and loves to show your love to others.
Either way they balance each other really nicely and are always very loving towards you.
Vladimir and Stefan
This isn’t the first time Vladimir and Stefan have been in a poly relationship, so to them this kind of dynamic is really no big deal.
At first, they would be a bit more closed off due to them being vampires and barely interacting with humans. But slowly both of them start to understand again how humans work.
Once in a while the two vampires get really competitive over you and get into an argument about who you love more. At the end you need to work as a mediator between the two and at some point, they decide that tag teaming works better with you.
But there is rarely any fighting between the three of you because you all understand each other’s views so well.
Stefan is more physical with his love when on the other hand Vladimir shows his love more through his words.

unprepared [vladimir]
description: Can you write a one shot Vladimir x reader where reader its human and gets hurts,so vladimir dont know how to deal with it?Sorry for bothering you<3
requested by: @simpfordemetri
warnings: none
[masterlist]
thank you for requesting and so sorry for the way too long wait! i hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
It had taken a little longer than Vladimir had expected to acquainted with having a human mate. Really, as much as he hated to admit it, it had taken both him and Stefan months to get used to having a human around that they weren’t going to eventually eat or torture. You were so fragile and breakable and small compared to them.
You were still adjusting to your new life of vampires and all things supernatural, still not sure when too much was too much for your human body and Vladimir made it his job to watch out for whenever you wandered into dangerous situations.
Your self-preservation was not your highest priority, which caused Vladimir small heart attacks every time you were involved in another close call - not that he would ever admit that, even to you.
The two of you got along fairly well, especially as time went on between the two of you. You still stepped on his toes and irritated him to no end with your modern human ways, but he did love you and you loved him, despite his somewhat eccentric ways.
Stefan took a little while longer to warm up to the idea of a new person joining him and Vladimir. He looked down on you a lot at first and didn’t exactly hide it that he wasn’t fond of you.
Though things changed with time and the two of you also grew close, sometimes joining together to aggravate your mate for a laugh.
Now, as you, Vladimir, and Stefan continued your travels, there were no sour words exchanged, no snapping about how slow you were moving (usually), and Vladimir was close to your side to help you through it all.
Most of the time, anyway.
In the rare moments that he wasn’t, Stefan was there to mess around with you.
Currently, the two of you were alone while Vladimir had run off to do whatever he deemed important, claiming to be back soon. While you were waiting for your mate to return, you and Stefan had picked up a game of catch.
It started off simple and easy, with Stefan throwing them as gently as he could while you threw him them back as hard as you could to try and catch the vampire off guard.
It became a game you often played and you received a lot of joy from it, especially when you began it when Stefan wasn’t paying attention.
Now you were becoming bored since Stefan was in top form today, and your attention began to wander back to when Vladimir would return, He hadn’t been gone long, but every time he left you felt like a part of you was missing.
You held your hand up, waiting for Stefan to throw the ball back. Your eyes were unfocused, thoughts away, when the sharp sting on the ball on your shoulder quite literally knocked you back to reality.
“Oh, shit!” You exclaimed, grimacing as you reached up to your shoulder. You could feel your heartbeat in the shoulder, wincing when you pressed your fingers to it. You really must not have been paying attention and Stefan must have been growing bored too, judging by how hard he threw the ball.
“Are you okay?” He asked, appearing beside you in the blink of an eye, his own wide with panic. “Is it broken?”
You shook your head, pulling your shirt sleeve down to get a better look at it. It didn’t feel out of place, but it hurt to move and there was already a big black bruise forming on it.
“What happened?” Vladimir’s voice boomed suddenly, and you looked up, almost smiling at the horrified look on his face.
It was very obvious Vladimir and Stefan weren’t accustomed to humans anymore, but the pure panic in Vladimir’s face almost made you more sorry for him than yourself.
“It was an accident.” You started to explain, motioning between yourself and Stefan with your good hand. “Neither of us were paying attention and Stefan accidentally threw the ball too hard.”
He turned a hard glare towards Stefan, his lips turning into a scowl. “How many times have I warned you about being gentle?”
Stefan held his hands up. “Like she said, it was an accident! I wasn’t paying attention!”
“Vlad. You reached out an touched his shoulder, silently telling him let it go. “Accidents happen, and we knew one would be coming sooner than later. Good thing it, it’s only a bruise and maybe a slightly displaced shoulder. “I’m used to getting injuries, it’s part of being human.”
His expression changed again, looking torn between caring for you and ripping Stefan apart. Eventually, his need to take care of you seemed to win because his face fell into reluctant defeat. “What do I do?”
You smiled, knowing you had won this time. “Ice and pain killers, preferably. And you for the rest of the day.”
He smiled back this time, knowing he wasn’t leaving your side now. His arms moved under you, gently maneuvering around your injured shoulder as he picked you up and tucked you close to him.
With a final nasty look at an apologetic looking Stefan, you and Vladimir took off, where he gladly catered to you for the rest of the evening (and possibly the rest of the week.)

So another Twilight rant after a very very long time.
Tumblr media
Do you think Aro knows how to fight? Personally I feel like he does. If we go by movie canon. And also before Chelsea came around and while he was still forming the coven he had to break up some fights.
And also, the Volturi guards had to be better fighters than the cullens let's be real. There's no way Demetri got taken out. And ESPECIALLY Caius. That was ridiculous! I'm still so mad. The executioner, the man who battled werewolves being taken out so easily is stupid.
Another thing is that Caius is portrayed as being an angry, hateful person. He's the classic one dimensional villain with zero personality. He's got to have some good sides? Even Aro has his positive qualities.
Also, the entire vampires don't mentally change? Yeah I hate it. Look at the cullens. Especially Jasper. That one has the most questionable past as a human....but I'm pretty sure he's no longer the same. What I'm understanding is vampires in the Twilight universe cannot experience emotional or mental growth? There are vampires who had no respect for human life before but later learn to live a different lifestyle. That's emotional and mental growth in a way. The Romanian coven for example are supposed to have so much rage...but they don't seem to have much? Honestly, If vampire males can have sperm they can develop new braincells lmao.

any fun thoughts you have on the Romanian coven?? Have they changed with the times? What're they up to these days? Do they try to fit into society? Thoughts on humans?
The Romanians are two of my favourite characters. They’re incredibly interesting and there’s a whole world in their pasts that could be explored. In the films they’re such fun characters but the books have them more creepy, sinister almost, and very out of place among modern vampire society. I view them more that way than the movie portrayal.
I think Vladimir and Stefan are very much set in the same way they were when Laurent encountered them - trying to be invisible. They’re forever wandering the world, never stopping, keeping out of the eye of the Volturi and waiting for the opportunity to get revenge for the loss of their empire and family. One day, when another coven takes the risk of creating a large army, and (hopefully for them) wounds the Volturi enough in battle, then Vladimir and Stefan will create their own once again and attempt to restore themselves to power and glory.
They don’t attempt to fit into society at all. Like many their clothes are stolen from prey, and they avoid cities. They roam countries with constant cloud, much like the Cullens, however unlike the Cullens preferring to avoid other vampires as much as possible as to avoid detection. They discourage others to follow them just as they told Laurent to stop.
Their views on humans are only that they are prey, nothing more. It’s been so long since they were humans they no longer recall their human memories and they kept human (and likely vampire) slaves. They don’t hold much value towards others of their own species either; they’re so old they’ve seen the vast majority of those they’ve known all die, coming and going as seemingly quickly as the seasons; empires rising and falling; armies being created and destroyed. They exist as if they’re watching the world go by, particularly as they can no longer participate in it as to avoid execution by any means Aro might create. (As a side note I don’t think Aro will order their deaths unless they rebel again - as the population is mostly younger vampires who don’t remember the carnage and anarchy of the world before the Volturi, he keeps them alive as a warning to those who might seek to usurp him and recreate the world of empires, as they will tell anyone who’ll listen about how their castles were burnt, etc).

In Another Life (Twilight x Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You had went to the bank in hopes of answers. You woke up in the hospital and narrowly escaped- with the report on you- which had an address you didn’t recognise. Therefore you got a change of clothes, your stuff and fled. "Your name is down as the person of residency but in terms of ownership, that is to your sponsor." The lady said flatly. "Sponsor?" You repeated. "Yes." She replied before looking at you. She noticed your distress. "Honey, is it time to make the call?" "Call?" You asked incredulously. "Your sponsor has made precautions for this." "Who is this sponsor you speak of!?" You cried out. The woman looked at you with surprise. Shaken you quickly contained yourself. "I'm sorry, I...I had an accident and the hospital said I have amnesia. This all just... I'm confused." You said shakily. Whilst the accident was made up, amnesia was possible and even more so the confusion was very real. The woman looked at you and seemed to feel pity. She sighed. "It's not protocol to do this but it seems like you would need it." She said quietly before typing on her computer, clicking her pen and scribbling down some information. "I'm giving you your address." She said quietly and a cash withdrawal of thirty dollars. I cannot give his name but I can give you where to find him. He works in Forks Hospital, his name is Dr Cullen. Dr Carlisle Cullen." She looked up at you slightly uneasy and pleading. "I'm really going out of my way for this. If you are asked. It didn't come from me." You nodded.
The first place you went was back home. You weren’t surprised given the situation at the bank but it made you wonder how long it had truly been. The unpaid bills told you that you hadn’t been around for a while, as well as the power being shut off to the house and the layers of dust. However now that you knew where to find this sponsor it didn't take long before you decided to go to Forks Hospital.
Dr Cullen looked very young- mid twenties. He either came from a rich family or he was a wonder kid growing up. He seemed a little young to be so far ahead in his profession. However he seemed to know you whilst you had no memory of him. "(Y/N)-" You cut him off. "How do you know my name?" You said quickly. "I can't explain right now." Carlisle said hurriedly. "You better. I need answers." You retorted. "You're my sponsor? What does that even mean?" "We can't discuss this here...come with me to my house and everything will become clear."
Usually under any other circumstances, you wouldn't go anywhere with someone you don't know, especially to their house. Or at least that's what you thought. Truth be told, you didn't really know if you would. You couldn't recall a situation similar...or different for that matter. You were fairly certain you had found yourself involved with the wrong people. Carlisle had told you that he along with others are vampires and that another group of these so called vampires wanted to meet you. That left more questions than answers and by two days had passed, you were faced with the shock that all of this was not a dream. It was very very real.  They looked at you. The beings with red and gold eyes. You couldn't bring yourself to be afraid of the supposed vampires. You weren't certain if they were real or not.
"How is this possible?" Caius asked the room. Aro looked to his friend, Carlisle. Only Carlisle could give a response. The best response he could give. He leaned against the fireplace, arms crossed over his chest. He straightened. "Scientific breakthroughs happen all the time. In medicine, every rule and regulation dealing with human was discovered with breakthroughs. You need to scrub in so that bacteria doesn't get in the patient before surgery. People have medical conditions that we'd have thrown them into asylums for. Yet now they live among us, managing those conditions. You have a cold and you take a couple of pills and recover in a few days. That same cold was deadly when most of us were human. Humans just seemed to create an imprint on it to remember the illness. An immune system. There are conditions that make no sense. Foreign accent syndrome. Someone from Forks could fall and hit their head and for some strange reason, when they wake, they have a speech impediment that sounds like a foreign accent such as a British accent. Some humans, sit up and walk around completely asleep and talk. None of this was understood in eras before. Some considered impossible. Some would laugh at the idea of germ theory if they could see it today. Some would consider the act of the devil." Carlisle looked around the room. "We are among them. We are not explainable. There is no knowledge of how we, vampires, came to be. Yet here we are. We are considered an impossibility yet here we stand and so I can't help but think that there is no reason at all. Just as there are medically unexplained symptoms, there are vampires and now we know that there is a human who does not stay dead. Breakthroughs. So I am fully with you. This sounds absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely impossible. However, I have said the same many times before." "Really?" Bella asked. Carlisle nodded as Caius made a noise at the seemingly stupid question. "I wouldn't have believed you, Bella, if you had told me one hundred years ago that there is a condition that has a patient looking at their own arm and is determined it's not theirs. So much so that they want it removed. Here we are. I've come to believe in this life that very few things are impossible." He replied to her. "We've had them with us before.” Aro finally spoke. “Someone who got us our sustenance. You have too?" Aro asked. Carlisle nodded."My assistant in the 1700's." "Will we back-track them?" Caius asked and Carlisle shook his head making him frown. "They have no memory each time. We couldn't find a clear trail unless we draw attention to ourselves. If we notice, there is a chance the humans will notice that there is a human who looks the same with the same name prior." Marcus rose to a stand. "Perhaps there is no need to fear where they have been." Marcus said quietly. "It seems unnecessary."   Listening to all of this, you finally sighed with exasperation. "For the love of- will someone please tell me what's going on!?" You snapped with exasperation. Carlisle sighed deeply. "I know you." He began. "I know who you are. I know the truth." Fear remained upon your face as confusion grew. "What?" "I've known you longer than you know. I met you before I had in the hospital. You just didn't remember me." Carlisle explained. "Carlisle, what are you talking about?" You asked as a tear ran down your face. "I met you in 1775." Carlisle said hurriedly making you stiffen. "It was in the American Revolution. I was a doctor in the war zone and you were a nurse. You, Hilde and myself. That was when I met Garrett. That's how Garrett knew you. He had met you before." "Carlisle, do you hear yourself?" You said through tears. "I couldn't have been alive in 1775." "Then answer one simple question. Forget that many in this room know you and answer this one simple question. What year were you born?" You inhaled, opening your mouth to answer but suddenly paused. The vampires around the room watched you, waiting for your answer. As time went on, you grew frustrated at your inability to remember something so simple. "H-How is that possible?" You asked shakily. Carlisle shook his head. "I don't know." He said softly, taking a step forward. "I've been trying to understand that answer myself but all I know is that this isn't your first life, (Y/N). I've spent time trying to piece what I could together. All I know is that you don't grow older, you die and then you get up with no prior memory. You have been for a very long time." Carlisle finished as the vampires noticed you tremble. "Let me help you." Carlisle coaxed gently."I'll show you what I’ve found so far. Maybe it'll help."
More and more people seemed to flock to Carlisle, word had gotten around fast. Each one was introduced. This time, the Denali and Romanian coven had come to meet you. Although none seemed to give any hints as to whether they recognised you.
"I hope you found the place you were looking for." A voice said to you and you jumped. You looked over your shoulder to see Vladimir, leaning against the door frame, arms crossed. "What?" You frowned slightly in confusion. "The last time we met. You told me you were looking to be somewhere. Did you ever find it?" He asked with a knowing smirk. He knew your answer just as you did. "I don't know." You said slowly. "We've met before?" "Indeed we have." Vladimir replied. "Twice. You didn't survive the first time but by the second time, you certainly had my attention."
Life before the Volturi was certainly sweet for Vladimir and the Romanian coven. They, much like the Egyptian coven were treats as Gods to the humans. They would sacrifice their own people to please the coven. The humans were nothing but food and other of those considered lucky or - to the coven- fitting to be slaves. Even the slaves only had limited time. None of the humans were permanent. Your face was one of many. A meaningless face of existence that was gone just as quickly as you had entered. You lasted months as a slave before one of the coven decided you were the next meal. However Vladimir didn't anticipate seeing you again.
It was 810 A.D. The Romanians had just tried and failed upon their last attempts to regroup and destroy the Volturi. Despite their numbers, despite experience, the Volturi remained and Vladimir had just lost his mate. He along with Stefan had no other choice but to roam and figure out what to do next. Soon enough he found a familiar face doing the same.  Vladimir had no idea how you were alive. Yet in his grief, he couldn't bring himself to ask much questions. Yet when he spoke to you, you seemed to have no recollection of who he was. Had it really been that long? He wasn't sure. Then again, he had forever. For him such a thing didn't matter. Although it seemed as though you did too- or you were just incredibly lucky.
You seemed dissatisfied and unimpressed with everything around you. You didn't belong here either, he recognised the look all too well. Seeing that you didn't recognise him, he reintroduced himself. You didn't see the harm and gave him your name. However you said something that always stuck out to him after he made a comment of being far from home. "Everywhere I go, I just want to leave." He looked at you. That same dissatisfied look remained. "Are you looking for something?" Vladimir didn't take notice of human business but the question left him before he could decide against it. "Yes. I think I am." You replied, your face twisted in uncertainty. "What are you looking for?" He had never known anyone to have been uncertain they were looking for something yet pursuing it. "I don't know." "Then how will you know if you found it?" Vladimir pressed. "Have you ever felt like you were forgetting something? Something important?" You asked. Vladimir thought momentarily. Forgetting in this life was a gift. An impossible one. You either overlook it or you don't experience it, but you never forget things. Not as an immortal. Not ever. "No. I only wish to forget." Vladimir answered. "Forget what?" It was your turn to ask. "The pain. I lost the love of my life." Vladimir answered. The love of his painfully long life, now. "You have my condolences." You replied softer. Vladimir simply cast you a glance. "Pardon my confusion," Vladimir asked, immediately bring the topic back to you. "but why don't you head home? If you have no knowledge as to what you're looking for then why search for it?" "Well, sir, I don't know where my home is. I can't seem to recall. Perhaps that's what I'm looking for, the place I call home...the people." You frowned, suddenly drowned in your thoughts. As though your sentence caught you off guard. Vladimir's next words brought you back to the world around you. "I wish you luck looking for that place then."
None of Vladimir's story sounded familiar, yet that was becoming a frequent phenomenon.  Although it was new for Vladimir to have not just met you in one but two lifetimes. All the while you had no idea how either of them ended and before now, that they had ever even existed. "I've been thinking about stuff. Trying to see how much I remember?" You began. Carlisle hummed. "Any luck?" "Nothing concrete but I...I have thoughts, images- brief ones. I'm not sure if they're memories or just images my brain comes up with to fill the void." Carlisle nodded in understanding with a smile. "Would you like to talk about them?" You paused. "I had a husband once." You began slowly. "Many actually but, one of them, one of them come to mind more prominently. I can't remember his face. He meant the world to me." You continued quietly. "We knew each other for years, growing up together. It was practically fate that we were to be married before he left for war. I don't remember his name. Just...just what he'd call me." "Which was?" Carlisle asked lightly. "Sweet-face." You replied, unable to hold back from smiling ever so slightly.
Later that night. Carlisle approached you with Alec and Jane. "Do you have a moment?" Carlisle asked and you nodded. "Yes." You replied. "Jane and Alec overheard what you had said to me earlier. It stuck with them."  Carlisle explained as Demetri, Felix and Aro moved into the room. "Oh?" You asked. Carlisle nodded. "We were born before 800 A.D." Jane spoke up. "For our human lives, we lived in England. Our father was an Frankish soldier. Our mother an Anglo-Saxon woman." "We're telling you this...." Alec continued on from his sister. "...because our father would call our mother 'sweetface'." "So much so that it rubbed off on Alec." Jane finished. You were silent for a moment. "Do...do you think that I'm your mother?" You asked. The twins stayed silent. "It would match. It could be coincidental but their mother died the night they were changed." Carlisle finished. "Do you recall having children?" "N-No, I-I don't know." You said hurriedly, the shock finally setting in. "I can find out. They might not have blood anymore but they still have DNA. I could look into this." Carlisle began. "Carlisle, slow down. That's extremely unlikely. It could just be a coincidence. For all I know, I can't have children." You turned to the twins. "I'm sorry but I don't want you to get your hopes up over this. Surely I'd have known-" You were interrupted by Demetri. "You did." Everyone turned to him. "You were always looking out for them, caring for the twins as though they were your own but couldn't understand why. Just as the twins always were drawn to you." Your brow furrowed. "What?" You asked. Demetri looked at you with unease and worry. "I asked that this wasn't brought to your attention but it can't be helped. You spent time with us a couple of centuries ago." Your eyes widened. "You made us promise not to say anything, just to say it yourself?" Alec scowled slightly. "You were right. (Y/N) needs to know. It's better that we don't lie." "Why would you lie?" You said shocked by the admission. Demetri looked away without an answer. "(Y/N)...the twins." Carlisle prompted.  With a sigh, you nodded. "Alright. Alright, we can look into it." Your hair was collected, as well as the twins.
As the radio played softly in background, Demetri's eyes wandered and trailed to you. 'I wouldn't change a thing. I'm so glad, you're back again. I'll never forget you. They said we'd never make it, my sweet joy. Always remember me.' Well that was a kick to the teeth if there ever was one. Was the universe laughing at him? Was it fate? How could a song be so accurate to that very moment?
Truth be told, now that he had moved on, he wouldn't have changed one second of his time with you. It was temporary but perfect. As much as it hurt, it was nice to see you again. Even if you had no idea who he was. You two would have been a very strange couple. A human and a vampire? Even the thought made him smile in amusement. That was silly. Or at least that's what Demetri had told himself all these years. Demetri could even admit to himself now that he'd never want to forget you. Now that the wounds had mostly healed from losing you, he could really appreciate your time with him and hold it to his heart. He'd always remember you, even if you couldn't do the same.  Truth be told this wasn't the first time he had seen you in this confused and stressed state. He remembered one of the times he knew for certain that his feelings were mutual.
It was an easier time, much more carefree and rewarding when you were around. Demetri took your hand and brought it closer to him upon the desk, interlocking your fingers with his. Your hand was smaller than his and fit perfectly within his. Warmth radiating onto his skin. A piece of him wanted to hold onto your hand forever. However, it seemed too sudden. Too much for you considering all of the confusion you already had in your mind. So instead he'd enjoy the opportunity. You knew how he felt and for that time. That was enough.
Demetri had captured you in his memory. His perfect memory capturing you just the way you were. Perfectly solidifies in his memory forever. Demetri ran his fingertips along your neck. He felt some of the muscles twitch under his finger upon instinct and even the light thumping of your pulse in the slowest, yet most gentle of touches. You were perfection, if not the closest thing to it. The loveliest thing he had ever seen. It was hard to think you hadn't been around for long. Aro still had no answers as to why your past was such a conundrum but Demetri had begun to wonder why your past was so important. Why not the here and now where you are with him and the future where a piece of him had hoped you'd remain.
Demetri was brought back to reality. You were gone not long after that and he never expected to see you again. It was either a cruel joke or a painful blessing. He could have loved you. Maybe he did. Perhaps that's why it hurt so much to see you again. This time, you had no recollection of him. The memories of how your hands touched, how you smiled in joy as he twirled you when you danced surrounded by the Volturi guards clapping and smiles. Those memories were meant for him and him alone. He'd keep them locked away safely for you and Demetri. The small piece of forever that simply wasn't meant to be.
You desperately wanted to remember what Demetri was telling you. Yet it was all brand new. You thought hard, so much so that you were certain a headache would be the least of your worries. Though you wanted to remember. Or at least try. Call it imagination or memory recall, you thought hard and something came to mind.
There was a laughter, the more you focused on the sound in your head, the more familiar it became. It was yours. Demetri spun you, his attention on you as you danced with him. Heidi behind him, as well as many other guards. Heidi, a name you had only a face to recall but didn’t recall who she was or even a conversation. The picture in your mind meant nothing to you. Although you did believe him. After all, there was no reason why you shouldn't have. It wasn't as though you could recall it at all, never mind differently.
Although the more you looked at Demetri, the more he refused to meet your gaze and the more time passed, that frustrated you. Dare you even think it, perhaps that was a reason to not believe him. You challenged him before you could even think it through.   "You won't even look at me." You said. "You look at me for a moment and then look away like I broke your heart." Demetri swallowed, unable to meet your eyes momentarily. That wasn't good enough. Not for you. "Was I really so meaningless to you that you can't even look at me, even now?" You asked. "No. You meant more to me than you could imagine." "Then why do you look at me like that?" You asked. "Because whether it be twenty years for two hundred years from now, I'll remember your name but you won't remember mine." His words stunned you into silence.
It was a painful truth for yourself so you could only try to imagine how painful it would have been for Demetri. Demetri couldn't help but imagine what he had wanted to say after all this time. He let his imagination run wild. He imagined grabbing you by the face, kneeling in front of you as you mirrored him. Both overcome with emotions. Tears spilling from your eyes as you smiled at Demetri. "I have so much...to tell you!" Demetri managed out through his own emotion before the two of you pressed your foreheads together.
Truth be told when you were gone all Demetri could think was 'oh well that's the end of that.' The thought sounded passive, like he could shrug you off and carry on with his life like you were never there. That wasn't the case. It was a sad thought. Sadness because it ended prematurely. It ended before either of you could say goodbye or even grow into something more. Now that he knew you died after leaving, he wish he never had let you out of those doors. He wished he had fought for you. Even now a piece of him yearned for you to have said that if things were different, you'd have dropped everything and went with him. You never would say those words. You didn't remember him or anything else. It was a different world back then. It was so easy to regret in hindsight. It was so easy to regret in this life.
Carlisle watched you like a hawk, worried that this was becoming too overwhelming. It was. You felt yourself begin to shut down at all the new information that just didn't seem possible. It was when Carlisle interrupted to check on you that everything came to the surface. "You want to know how I feel?" You asked incredulously. "Angry!" You suddenly yelled. "Hurt! Confused! I have lived countless lives and I don't get to remember any of them!? Not one line!?" You lowered your voice. "Jane and Alec are my children and I lost every little memory I could have had with them. What's the point in living so much if I don't get to keep those memories!?" Tears welled up in your eyes. "I hurt everyone around me because I'll never remember any of them. I'll leave without even knowing I left!" You sobbed. Carlisle looked at you for a moment. "You're right. You're absolutely correct but you are missing the other side to that." This made you pause. "You might have no memory of it but you birthed and raised two children who have survived all this time because of you. You gave them each other. You gave so many people love and commitment. People can only ever ask to know what it's like to be loved and you did that for so many people. You've saved lives, allowed families to reunite and grow. You've done countless good things in the world. You might not be able to remember them and maybe they don't last forever but they happened. You happened and isn't that what's important? To this day, centuries later, you happen again and again and again. Over and over again, never changing and good. There are many in this world who are good people and don't know it. Some might never know but it doesn't change the good in them."
Demetri shared a similar sentiment when he got you alone that night. "Don't you see? That only makes you all the more special." Demetri said softly. "I couldn't keep you forever. Your children couldn't keep you. Your friends and family. Everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing you, lost you. Even those who didn't know you, lost you. They lost the opportunity but you didn't die. You see, that's where a lot of the pain comes, (Y/N). Knowing that the one we lost will never return, that such an event cannot be changed. Our pain is no different but you will never know the relief that you aren't dead, (Y/N). You have been so many and done so much and we are merely chapters in your life. Perhaps it's sad that you don't remember us but we'll always remember you. The gift is in knowing you and that so many others will know you one day. The privilege can't be told, only shared with the ones that knew you." Demetri cracked a smile. "Precious jewels never know how beautiful and cherished they are. I believe you to be no different. You won't remember how important you are but that makes no difference."
You took a few days to gather your thoughts. Demetri's seemed to keep his distance and the past strictly in the past. He knew how difficult this all was, he didn't want to push it further with his own memories of you. Besides there was something more important than all of that. You had been a mother to the twins that they had thought they lost. Meanwhile you never knew they existed. You didn't know the first thing about being a mother, not to mention interfering with their lives. Somehow the knowledge that your children were with Aro as guards made you very uneasy. So you spoke to him when you could get him alone and out of earshot of the twins.
You turned to Aro. "Thank you for taking care of my children." You began. "Why of course, they're wonderful children." Aro smiled. "I don't doubt that." You replied, not returning the smile. "Although I can't help but feel you have other motivations for them. Even now, my gut tells me that you are not everything you appear to be. Regardless, you took care of my children when I wasn't there. So now I have a favour to ask of you, as their mother." Aro tilted his head. "Oh?" "Take care of them. They look up to you. So I ask that even now, from this day on, please look after them. They are nothing less of magnificent and they've been through so much. Please do not add to that list." "Why of course, my dear." Aro grinned and it made you grow uneasy. His smile seemed so sinister. "They are like my own. A valued asset, I assure you." "They aren't assets, they're people. I understand their use just don't hurt them, don't take advantage." "You have my word, my dear." Aro smiled.
Next, you wanted to speak with the twins and warily, they followed you and then led you to somewhere private. The two looked slightly concerned, neither hopeful for what you had to say to them. You let out a shaky breath staring at the twins before you mumbled to yourself. "How do I do this?" The twins looked back at you, slightly nervous as to what you were about to say. "I just...I wanted to say that I'm sorry." The twins seemed confused and surprised. "I am so sorry that I failed to protect you. I'm sorry that I don't remember you and I'm sorry that I haven't been there for you." Tears began to well up in your eyes. "I always knew I was missing something but couldn't figure out what and to think it was me forgetting my own children-." You covered a sob with your hand, turning away from the slightly. "I should have been there for you, through everything. Yet when you needed me the most. I wasn't and I'm so sorry for that. I'm so sorry that I have failed you." "But you didn't. You were there." You looked at Jane due to her soft remark. "It's difficult to remember but I know you were there. You protected us so many times. So much so that the village-" Jane swallowed hard. "You died for us." Alec said quietly. "After that, it wasn't your fault." Jane continued. "You didn't know and we didn't know about you either. We've been okay ever since. Aro looked after us." You looked at them through teary eyes. "It should have been me." You said quietly. "Look at you two now. You're beautiful. You're more than I could have ever imagined. That much I do know." The twins gazes softened even more. Even now, after everything, they got their mothers approval. "You took care of each other. Even after all these years you two are inseparable." You smiled. "We did promise you that." Alec responded. You took a calming breath. "I find it unbearably sad to have met you now, my own children and to think I'd never recognise you. That I had forgotten I ever had children. Yet I look at you now and I can't help but feel angry at myself." "Don't." Alec said. "Don't blame yourself. This happened to us. You didn't do this to us. The village did." "You experienced pain just as we did. We knew you loved us. We always knew our mother loved us." "I know it's been so long. I know it might be difficult to forgive me." You said softly. "There's nothing to forgive in our eyes." Alec replied. "There never was." "I've forgotten how to be a mother, or if you even need one anymore. I don't know what to do with this. So I will ask you this. Are you happy? In Italy, with the Volturi, are you happy there?" "Yes." Jane replied quietly. You nodded, wiping at tears that threatened to fall with a smile. "I'm glad. You don't know how much of a relief that is. That even with all of this, my son and my daughter ending up being okay in the end." "Maybe one day, you could come to us? Stay with us in the Volturi...we could convince Aro." "I don't think he'd allow that, honey." You said softly. "If you want to see me. I can keep in touch. You can visit me when Aro allows you. If you don't want me in your life... I'll understand. Tell me what you'd like." "We don't want to lose you again." Alec replied.  You smiled slightly. "Then I'll do everything I can to ensure you don't." Before you knew it, Alec hugged you tightly. You cradled the back of his head as you hugged him. "...My son." You whispered, feeling a wave of tears rush over you again. "Mother..." Jane said quietly, as she slowly moved forward. You looked to her, continuing to hold Alec tightly. It seemed as though Jane finally let go and she moved towards you before hugging you. You maneuvered an arm from Alec's back to wrap around Jane. "I'm going to try, okay?" You said through your tears. "I'll try to be the best mother I can be to you."
After a few days, the Volturi had to leave. The twins left with the promise it wasn't goodbye. It was 'see you later' at the very most and so that’s what you said to them. You would see them later. Months passed and you kept your word. You kept in touch with the twins. However the most recent contact was delayed. They couldn't get a hold of you.
It took a lot but Carlisle asked that everybody be present at the link that he had sent. For those like the Volturi and the Romanians this meant Carlisle went out of his way to send laptops to them. No one was happy about it sent into one big video call together but all in all were the Cullen's, the Romanians, the Volturi and the Denali.
After a moment, Carlisle's words made everyone fall silent upon their grumble and snarky comments. "I have news to share with you all." Carlisle appeared to be in his office. However everyone was more focused on how something seemed to be wrong, given Carlisle's expression. It was sympathetic, much like a doctor is trained to be. Precise, clear and having their full attention to their patient. "Precisely five weeks ago, (Y/N) was no longer living with us and had once again returned to their previous home. Three weeks ago, (Y/N) was in a terrible car accident and sustained life threatening injuries to vital organs." Demetri turned his head away, a hand moving to his face. The twins had gone rigid and Aro had his hands on either of their shoulders. Carlisle continued. "After some examination, (Y/N) was immediately moved to our intensive care unit for treatment as doctors attempted to determine if surgery was possible. It was determined that this was not possible and that (Y/N)'s chances of survival were around ten percent if we proceeded with surgery. So that everyone knows, I have had minimum involvement with (Y/N)'s case and have been respectful of previously discussed wishes under the circumstances of severe injury or death. (Y/N) asked that if anything were to happen to them, I would not inform anyone of these circumstances until their state has been fully investigated and final." No one saw Alec take Jane's hand as the two looked at each other in silent conversation. "(Y/N)'s condition did not improve and they sadly passed away on Friday at 3:34pm." Garrett immediately stood up, trying to process the situation. The twins immediately stormed off before two very distinctive, animalistic screams were heard. Carlisle paused for a moment and Felix out a hand on Demetri's shoulder who had since huddled over himself, covering his face. He wasn't prepared to lose you again. You were in his past. So why did he once again feel his heart break in half at this news? "They were transferred to the morgue and as of now their body is considered missing. As of yesterday I have been altering paperwork to have humans assume their body has been transferred on and cover tracks." "So where are they?" Kate asked as she took her mates wrist in attempt to comfort him. "I do not know. They have no memory of any of us. I can only assume they have done as they have done before got up and left." "Thank you for informing us Carlisle." Aro said smoothly. "If you excuse us..." Carlisle nodded.  "That's all I can give you. In the mean time to those I sent devices to...you can simply discard of them or do as you please."
The twins took matters into their own hands and came to you thanks to the help of Demetri. The twins watched you upon a grass hill. A small breeze rushed by them. it had been ten months. The driver was mortified to discover your body was gone. He was already riddled with guilt. As he should have, in the twins eyes. Another reason to hate humans.
You weren’t certain how you got to the middle of a road in a forest.  Your lack of knowledge frightened you and made you flee the scene. The twins made a plan, the news hurting them more than the two anticipated. They were determined to bring you back to Italy where they could keep you safe. Now that they had arrived and Alec laid eyes upon you, he had second thoughts.  He didn't know if he could bring himself to put you through more anguish than you already had. He recalled your reaction to the confirmation that you were in fact their mother. The guilt you felt for not being around all this time and furthermore, not even remembering your children had upon you. He'd be doing it again.
When Jane went to move forward, he caught her. "Wait..." "What is it?" She asked, looking to her brother. Alec looked at you. If he said it, his sister would be distressed, but it was almost like saying goodbye, a goodbye he originally never got to give. "We shouldn't. We shouldn't do this." "What!?" Jane demanded in bewilderment. Alec's voice was quiet and showed his best attempt of speaking without emotion but he failed. Of course he failed. He was talking about his mother. One of the people he had loved the most. The one who died trying to protect them. Of course, he'd love nothing more than an eternity with his sister and his mother. He knew exactly what Jane was thinking. It would be the best gift they'd have ever received but for once Alec didn't think of just himself and his sister. He thought about you, his mother. He had seen, first hand, the distress you went through of forgetting. The confusion you were cursed to face with a new life and no understanding as to what led you to that point. He recalled your tears as you remembered crawling out of a morgue. Your pain from forgetting your children. He loved you. He could he not?  So as much as it hurt, he wanted to do what he thought was best for you. Let you live out your lives and let you forget them. To them, you'd always be their mother and nothing could take that from them. Even if you wouldn't remember it. "That is our mother, Alec!" Jane seethed, her eyes darkening. "We don't get another one!" She cried out. "Sister, you've seen the pain our mother had been through remembering. It's a painful process that doesn't need to be anymore painful than it already is. We love our mother and deep down, our mother loves us. Even if they won't remember it. We'd be torturing them if we took them with us, forcing them to know us over and over again. Our mother raised us, it's time. Let them go." Alec said softly, he wished he could cry. If it eased some of the pain, he'd sob to the skies above. Shakily, Jane replied with a quiet growl. "I'm getting our mother. Whether you like it or not!" She stormed off. Alec didn't stop her. He simply watched. He recalled what he thought to had been a memory. There was nothing but hazy colours. Alec simple couldn't remember it. However, since he had heard your voice, it was enough to remind him of something that hit Alec hard as he watched his sister. "You two promise me that, no matter what, you will always look after each other." He could hear the smile in your voice. "Your bond to each other is a gift. A companion for always and forever." We promise. Alec thought. Of course we will.
You hadn't noticed Jane, even as she stood feet away from you. Slowly she reached out to you, hesitant. Just as her fingertips were inches from your back she recalled your words to her long ago. She was certain she was human when you had said them. "Jane, you and your brother are the strongest people I have ever known. You'll be absolutely fine." Jane couldn't remember what she had to do that made her so frightened, only her mother's encouragement. "What if I need you and you're not there?" "You don't need me, sweet girl. You're braver and more powerful than you know." You could hear the fond smile in your voice. "I'll always need you, you're my mother." She remembered her own response but couldn't agree with it. Alec's previous words still fresh in her mind. The twins had lived with only each other for centuries. They had become more powerful than they could have imagined and all they really needed was each other. Jane didn't need a parent. She had one until the bitter end. Now a vampire who had been around for at least a thousand years, she couldn't really say needed a mother. She thought of all the lives you must have lived since. Some longer or shorter than others. All without Jane and Alec. All without any recollection of the one before or knowledge of the next. Perhaps her brother was right. Perhaps it was enough to simply know that she had one rather than selfishly put their mother through repetitive suffering every time they die and start again. That's already confusing enough. Jane's fingertips hovered an inch away from your back. You still had no idea. Slowly, she lowered her hand. She took two steps back.
You had a feeling someone was watching you, wanting your attention and that was when you heard a scraping noise on the ground directly behind you. You looked over your shoulder to find nothing. Nothing but the grassy hill behind you. You turned back to the phone you had dug out of your pocket. Was it yours? You didn't remember. However the phone could wait. Now you had to figure out where you were and where you had been before.

hi love
romanian coven x mate who is chaotic
This coven on the other see you having issues
On the bright side you three are on the move a lot so the hyperactivity will be relatively satisfied
Vladimir will likely get annoyed if you are constanly breaking things
Seriously he is going to ask you what your problem is, or ask why you can’t watch where you’re going
I imagine this does wonders for your self esteem especially because you can’t help it
But they have collected an array of artifacts they want to preserve when they reclaim their throne (yeah sure Vlad)
I imagine he probably explodes on you after awhile and will ask you to not try to help or touch anything
Stefan on the other hand is probably going to remove everything valuable from where they reside
He will apologize but also ask you to be honest with yourself and try to understand
You do but it still hurts
It’s either this or Vladimir asking you to be removed from their coven so you know pick your battles
If you’re just hyper Vladimir will be fine encouraging even because you need to be always ready for a confrontation (bombastic side eye)
I think if Stefan found another mate he’s going to want to settle and relax and not have to babysit a full grown adult
