the door to heizou's office was closed behind you two, leaving the rest of the world outside as you laid on a couch while he was practically glued to his office-desk— his countenance focused, absorbed in the current case he was working on.

to some, it might appear as boring when you both spend time like that, but to you it was the exact opposite— not only were you able to work on your own stuff in his office, in fact, you're not getting distracted by anything there, but heizou will always spend the night at your place after he was done with work.

although sometimes, you catch yourself become bored once you've finished up everything you had to do yourself, and immediately decide to walk towards his desk, your eyes holding a secret glow only he was able to understand.

"how far are you?" you ask, "already cracked the case?" tilting your head to the sight before lazily leaning against his desk.

heizou smirks before brushing one hand through his tousled hair, "almost done, heh, i'm almost there,"

you know— you know, you shouldn't bother him while he was busy with solving this case, but watching him actually do it was very much attractive. it's constant in his behavior, your boyfriend was just effortlessly handsome when he skimmed over a case, never seeing the glass as half full— he see it brimming to the top, filled with all his brilliance.

to add on to that, the both of you couldn't be apart from each other for a long time anyways, it was like watching two magnets, pushing and pulling until they finally clicked back into place.

"can i sit on your lap?" you say in a whispered utterance that was setting his heart ablaze, "i want to watch you solve it," and the way you spoke to him in that sound, heizou's facial features instantly turn softly into kindness, a carefree laugh attached to him.

"you don't have to ask, come here."

heizou instantly makes space for you before guiding you towards his lap, and an immediate rush of warm air rises when he wraps his arms around you, the tension roiling and manifesting into heart-shaped clouds.

now, as a result of being so close to your boyfriend, his slightly sweet fragrance overruns your senses when you rest your head against his shoulder, sighing out through your mouth.

"you wanna help me solve this case, hm?" the man snickers as his palm smoothes along your thigh, "i will do whatever you want if you solve it before me,"

"i can try," you claim confidently and shift on his lap.

a gleeful light falls into his deep, black pupils when you agree, his lips curved up into a smile, "but don't get mad if i beat you!"

"see? that's how you hide a card and make it appear again,"

lyney moves his fingers around the pack of cards with such frightening precision that you could evidently witness with fierce clarity that, well, you cannot possibly memorize this magic trick with the confused blur in your eyes— despite the fact that he has shown you the exact same trick three times in a row now.

you sigh out in defeat, your eyes skimming over his hands as you're both sitting on the couch next to each other, "I still don't get it," your words were breathless but liquid with embarrassment, even though there was nothing to be embarrassed about— because you see, lyney would never reveal a trick to anybody, not even to his significant other.

after all, it's a magicians greatest strength to keep their cunning mischiefs hidden away.

in fact, he only offered to show you because he really liked that befuddled look on your face, he finds it so cute, pretty and sweet.

a somewhat devious, but calm smile hovers on his face as he watches you in awe, one hand now lingering on your arm, a silent plea for you to stay.

"hm, you know what? let me look at it from a different view," you grin before tenderly kissing his cheek, "it's difficult watching from the side like that, you know?" then place a small peck on his jaw before working yourself towards his soft lips at last.

"can i sit on your lap?" you say and lyney almost whines at your request, a pretty sparkle on your eyes worsening his condition, your voice barely above a whisper.

on a surface level, you were dating lyney for quite a while now and were utterly aware that he was probably trying to confuse you with his magic tricks, and although you do not welcome it, you also did not mind because letting him confuse you wasn't necessarily a bad thing— since lyney would always become so confident and loving, not to mention excited to show and tell you more about his passion.

he blushes a little, an emotion such as this one was probably one of the only ones a magician of his caliber was unable to disguise.

"of course," lyney takes a deep breath before straightening his posture out, parting his arms so you could easily settle on his lap.

once you're on his lap, he kisses your shoulder before resting his head in the nook of your neck, "i'll start over now, you ready?"

"i am!" you retort back, "i will get it this time," as a lazy smirk spreads across your face before you begin to melt into his embrace.

for you to be able to see each other as often as possible, you tend to visit wriothesley at work every now and then— sometimes you feel quite lonely since your boyfriend was always occupied with his job, so when you open the door to his office at last, he holds a benevolent presence on his demeanor, mirth possessing his eyes at the pure look of you walking into the room.

and to make this situation even sweeter, wriothesley shows you a tight-lipped, tender smile on his attractive face, delving into the soothing energy you always brought forth in him.

time seemed to stand still as your eyes met, and wriothesley immediately rises from his seat, cheeks flushing brightly, "you're finally here," his voice jovial-alike, so jovial that it set your entire tone for the day, "i was waiting for you, love,"

his walk was quick as he could barely wait to hug you— in fact, you honestly applaud him for how impossibly fast he has reached you as two muscular arms wrap around your body in no time, a silent language of shared passion being spoken.

"i'm sorry that i have kept you waiting, i'm a bit late, aren't i?" with a meaningful smile, you cup his cheeks before stroking the skin with your thumb.

lost in your eyes, wriothesley watches you through a soft look of through his thick lashes, "—oh, yeah? you did? i couldn't tell."

"but now that you're mentioning it, hm, how brave of you to keep me waiting like that," wriothesley utters in a fooling timbre, "—knowing that I've missed you all day," he continues to tease you before guiding you towards his desk by your hand.

on a normal day, the duke would offer you to sit on his office chair just because he finds it cute and somewhat hilarious— in fact, your cuteness in general was off the charts, it practically had its own gravitational pull.

you do not sit down and instead wrap your arms around his neck, "looks like someone's not quite perfect after all," wriothesley jokes in a tone that was warm and inviting, eliciting an immediate laugh from you.

you pout at him, "hey! if that's the case i'm taking my apology back right now,"

half jokingly, you avert your gaze as to tease him for once, although his overconfidence was like a blazing torch, nothing was capable to rush through it.

wriothesley keeps a prolonged eye contact with you so he could intensify the triumph over this situation, watching how you're crumbling first and losing the game, a playful wink adding a touch of humor to his jest.

"ouch, my love, you heart my heart crack right now?" the duke knits his eyebrows together as he kisses your forehead, his voice light with a hint of playfulness.

you roll your eyes, "hmpf, that's what you get."

the air was charged with a gentle, bubbly energy as wriothesley slightly pushes his office chair towards your direction to make you sit down— he believed you must be tired from today, in fact, the night was slowly approaching and he could tell by how often you'd yawn out.

you look at the chair before searching for your boyfriends eyes again, "is it okay if i sit on your lap instead?" you ask shyly, "i want to watch you work," certainly, that look on your face told him all he needed to know,

"—and cuddle," especially with that twinkle in your eyes.

"you sure? i might be unable to sit still," he grins, leaning closer to your ear before pulling you on to his lap, "make sure to keep your eyes wide open for me, no sleeping," wriothesley kisses your cheek, his voice a soft murmur that boiled the blood in your veins.

"working with me can be quite the handful, you know," he claims confidently, yet you weren't new to your boyfriend's manner of speaking— because you see, in secret he was hinting at something way different than you simply sitting on his lap.

eyes fluttering shut, you lean against alhaitham's shoulder while your knee would nudge against his own ever so often, swaying from left to right.

it's this particular hour of the day again, where your boyfriend would read to you in the park, it's a simple date yet the both of you preferred it above everything else— it's the vibrancy of various petals decorating the nature that was boldly unique to you, surrounding your bodies so delicately and pure that you couldn't help yourself but feel weary due to the dainty scenery.

for some reason, you cannot keep your eyes open this time but proceeded to give your utmost best to keep your fatigue hidden from the scribe's eyes— granting the fact that he had figured it out the second he saw you.

it was utterly unfair, that's what it was, because there was nothing you cherished more then spending time with your boyfriend like that, in midst the sounds of cooing pigeons in the garden as sun washes the garden with a golden glow.

alhaitham liked it to, especially reading his favorite books to you was something he thought was beneficial to the both of you. most importantly, he noticed how he was igniting an inner smile in your soul, that kind that burns warm and long, he loves that smile, he couldn't possibly become satiated by it ever.

in a fleeting moment, he places his warm palm against your knee, "hey, you're falling asleep," he claims, a little stoic, "we should head home so you can rest,"

no, please no, you yell inwardly before rubbing your eyes— every ounce of your remaining strength was dedicated to maintaining your eyes open and stay within this scenery a little longer.

"it's okay, i am fine, i promise," you panic, then yawn, yikes, what a way for your body to go behind your back.

hand in hand with your weary state of mind, you move your body before standing up to reclaim your energy, "you can keep reading to me, please, it was getting interesting,"

you're attempting to salvage just an ounce of this date, your eyebrows knitting together in displeasure as you yawn out again.

"i love listening to you."

"there's no point in that if you're falling asleep,"

alhaitham takes your hand, delicately pulling your body towards his own as to inspect your fatigued expression, "we can postpone this, the book isn't running anywhere and neither am i," he smiles gently, silently running his thumb along your knuckles so you'd calm yourself down a little, his homely trace sending a shiver down your spine.

without dissembling anything, it wasn't the book you feared to miss out on— in fact, it was about alhaitham himself. as the scribe of the akademiya he had always been busy and it could become very difficult to plan dates in advance.

to note that even after he might finish up his duties for the day a little earlier, he preferred to stay within the warm confines of his home which you did not mind either.

"alhaitham?" you heave out, something unspoken yet profound being exchanged as your body tests the waters by moving forward, "can i sit on your lap? that way i will surely stay awake, i promise."

alhaitham cocks a curious brow at you, "oh, you will?" he inquires as you nod your head, "in that case, please be my guest,"

the scribe shuffles in his seat as he spreads his legs a little, waiting for you to sit on his lap as one of his hands guide you down while the other held on to the beige-colored book.

the scribe looks at you through thick eyelashes, his face wholly relaxed as you loop one arm around his shoulders to steady yourself, your lips contorting into a deep, happy smile.

"are you comfortable enough?" he asks as you shift your weight from one leg to another, "very much, thank you."

alhaitham holds you by your waist, strong enough that you could leisurely lean back without fearing of actually dropping on the ground. after figuring out a comfortable setting for the both of you, he flips his book open with one hand as your body subconsciously heats up at his tender palm rubbing circles on your waist.

a cool breeze swirls around you both when he resumes to the book like nothing has changed at all, his choice in tone dignified and unwavering as he reads the first paragraph to you, smiling at your sweet face when he notices how you were drifting into a much deeper sleep.

Alright, Uchiha Clan oppression longpost

This is the unavoidable, and often central, topic people tend to surround their Naruto politics takes on, and is as a result a big, ugly discourse-generator. It's also a subject I'm definitely always thinking about when it comes to Naruto as a noted Sasuke stan, and my thoughts on it have changed gradually over the years. I'm making this post to share what my current interpretation on "how and why the Uchiha Clan were oppressed" is.

Before I do that though, notice on what this post is not:

I'm not writing a "discourse ender", a take meant to be spread around with the claim of being the only correct interpretation of events. This is a post I wrote to share the exact way I rotate an aspect of the manga in my mind, and to convince people that looking at it from this angle is interesting. Basically: it's not that serious, I think about this because it's fun.

This isn't a "character-bashing" post or whatever either, so like if you agree with what you read here, I suppose I can't stop you from using those infamous "anti-[X]" tags, it's just that making a post that warrants them has never been my intention.

Along with that, I do want to address the by now very well established fact that Naruto the series is Not Very Good, and has glaring inconsistencies in its writing. The Uchiha Clan drama is definitely not exempt from this, and in its case the failures in Kishimoto's writing usually show in inconsistent power-scaling, in which we're made to accept weird leaps in logic (how does a 13 year old get rid of what we're told is one of the most powerful and feared clans internationally?) That being said, those particular inconsistencies are kind of irrelevant to this particular post, and don't much change the fact that the Uchiha Clan Massacre did happen. I'll be taking it as a given that if you're reading this, you're accepting to suspend your disbelief of those events on a technical level, and are more interested in how I make sense of it all more on the diegetic social/political level.

With that settled, we can get to the important part now:

The most popular take (as far as I've personally seen) on the events that led to the Uchiha Clan's downfall is the one that takes Madara at his word: the Senju have been oppressing the Uchiha since Konoha's conception, and Tobirama becoming the 2nd Hokage gave him the opportunity to put the Uchiha in a more socially disadvantaged position (police force), gradually earning them the villagers' ire, which was the catalyst for their eventual genocide.

This interpretation works if the end goal of your analysis is to say "Tobirama really fucking sucks". I don't think this conclusion is an unreasonable one, since Tobirama's hostility towards the Uchiha is great enough that he can callously tell a 16 year old genocide survivor that if his clan "self-destructed for the sake of the village, so be it". However, to me, the circumstances surrounding the Uchiha Clan are much wider-encompassing and more fascinating than narrowing their fate to a single man in fan meta written to convince you to hate him, so it goes without saying that I don't think "this is all Tobirama's fault" is a very interesting lens to look at this from.

I also don't buy the argument that making the Uchiha cops was (originally) to their detriment. We'll get back to that in a bit. I suppose this depends on how you look at Tobirama's character, but I think that when he said he made the police force as a sign of trust and to give the clan something useful to do in Konoha, he was being genuine. Arguing the opposite requires you to either believe that a law enforcement order could ever be in an oppressed position by default, or that Tobirama created a fundamentally useless new institution because he just hated the Uchiha that much. I think the former is a weird thing to argue if you're trying to be Leftist about all this, and the latter is a very ungenerous interpretation of Tobirama's character in which his own "racism"/pettiness overshadows his more utilitarian instincts to ensure that the village his brother built was safe and functioning. Obviously you could interpret that, but that leads us back to the "everything is Tobirama's fault" take, that I already mentioned I find lame as hell.

So then, how do I think the Uchiha Clan was oppressed? Because I think they indisputably were, or I wouldn't be making this post. Well, I think it was less "The Senju/Tobirama have always wanted to lord over them and wanted them dead", and more: they became gradually more socially disadvantaged during the era of Hidden Villages, with the consecutive world wars creating a souring global opinion on kekkei genkai clans.

(I'm gonna base my arguments primarily on what we see happen in the manga, and I'll add in some information from the fanbooks/databooks that weren't contradicted by what we see happen in Kishimoto's canon)

Let's start with what we know, definitely, that canon tells us:

Kekkei genkai clans are discriminated against to a very high extent, leading to things such as their mass slaughter (eg, the Uchiha Clan obviously, but also kekkei genkai clans like Haku's clan in the Land of Mist), and a vulnerability which puts them in positions where they're likelier to be targeted and kidnapped (eg, Hinata, but also Orochimaru having a whole criminal entreprise built on kidnapping and experimenting on people possessing kekkei genkai).

The trend for their discrimination is in being scapegoated. When Haku talks about the genocides in the Land of Mist (I refuse to call it the Land of Water sorry it sounds so stupid), this is how he describes them:

basically, it's not shinobi as a whole who are badly seen even though all sorts of them were likely participating in those wars: it's kekkei genkai clans in particular. Compare this to the Uchiha Clan being blamed for the Nine Tails attack (I mean one of them certainly was responsible, but was entirely unaffiliated with the rest of the clan) and being roped off to the edge of the village as a result.

Kekkei genkai clans are also frequently described by characters as being a bit "wilder" and more violent than usual shinobi. Tobirama calling the Uchiha "cursed", Kushina describing the Uzumaki as being "a bit savage", and Kakashi introducing us to the concept of kekkei genkai initially with these fun visuals:

The thing that's interesting about all this is the context in which it exists: the shinobi villages aren't technically "nations", but I think it would be accurate to liken their possessiveness of their secrets and paranoia regarding outside intrusion + conception of themselves as unified cultural entities + incredibly harsh treatment of dissidents (becoming a rogue is essentially a death sentence) to nationalism. There's an intentse "in-group vs out-group" feeling here.

Not to mention that canonically that shinobi have always been tools of imperialism for greater powers. While Hashirama's initial dream was to put an end to that, it eventually became corrupted; there was already discontent regarding land and resource allocations during his tenure as Hokage, and while we have no idea why the 1st War started, we know that by the time we're on the 2nd one, Konoha had become a tool for the Land of Fire's imperialist expansion (and was apparently was expanding its influence as a military village, too).

Basically, the "in-group vs out-group" conception that had once solely been clan-centric widened, and became this new concept of shinobi villages.

This is important because nationalistic sentiment inevitably rises during war; as a result, there's be a sharper eye for who'd turn traitor, who wasn't supporting the military effort, who would endanger their nation/village, etc. With this, there would be greater suspicion directed towards kekkei genkai clans, because they're more "genetically predisposed" to being unpredictable, because they would appear more loyal to their own than to the whole of the village, because they were the likeliest to turn traitor, and so on.

This would be a gradual process going on since the 1st War, but I believe that the 2nd War was where this kickstarted into becoming so much worse, because that one saw the destruction of Uzushio. It was a village composed entirely of a single clan, didn't bend to any of the big 5, and the Uzumaki were "savage" and had abilities that were greatly feared. It would be interesting to consider the idea that their associations with Konoha would have done them more harm than good here, too, given that Konoha was the Big Bad in the 2nd War and an alliance with them would not have been viewed positively.

It's thinking about all this in context, where nationalism was at its peak, where there's an idea that genetic chakra abilities impair swathes of people from being regular functioning shinobi like everyone else, is how we can imagine the Uchiha were discriminated against. They had another disadvantage to them as well, given that one of the first deadly attacks committed on Konoha was done by one of them. If we want to go back to the police force argument, it would be interesting to consider the idea that while it had been a good position for them at first, the utility and influence of the institution gradually eroded over time, and by the time the era where the massacre happened came along it became nearly meaningless since most of its original functions had been assigned elsewhere; as the kekkei genkai clan discrimination rose, the Uchiha also fell victim to it and their influence within the village significantly reduced out of fear of them.

The surveillance and the sequestering of the Uchiha Clan came after two important events; the first being the 3rd Great Shinobi War, and the second being the Nine Tails' attack on Konoha which happened barely a year post-armistice. Konoha was barely recovering from global armed conflict when half of it was destroyed in that attack; tensions are high, the Hokage is dead, and so the village saw an incredibly convenient scapegoat in the Uchiha clan.

So... yeah, that's how I see it! I find this a more fun interpretation than just pointing fingers at individual characters, because it allows me to consider the wider worldbuilding of the Naruto world, and also doesn't assume the Uchiha's position was especially unique and the end-be-all of all the problems with Naruto's politics. It's certainly important, but it's part of a greater network of problems too!

Are you certain Sam doesn’t have a house in LA. In the newest article in departures magazine it was mentioned he has a house in LA despite he’s not sold on the city. Is it not reliable information? A known blogger keeps saying her sources told her Sam purchased a house back in 2019 and now she’s being like “you see I was right about him having a place this entire time” it has been confirmed by Sam himself.

Sigh... deep sigh... Yes I am certain. Sam does not, I repeat, not, for the people in the back, Sam does not own a house in LA.

I don't know what he told that editor of Departures or if she misinterpreted it, but he doesn't own a house in LA.

And most certainly not since 2019 like that known blogger claims without any proof or evidence. She is not right, she had it wrong all the time. And yes, I sat on my hands, I'm so tired sounding like a broken record. I provided all the proof already so often. Since May 2022 I posted and revealed the house, not the exact address. Please look it up.

And no, the house was NOT purchased by the GGC/MPC in 2021. The owners of the house, and I have looked it up, and checked it multiple times since then, are AN and his (ex) wife. It's documented. You can look it up. Here's the screenshot:

And while the house is often used as filming location for MPC videos and promo for the booze.... it isn't solely used for that (as this known blogger claims).... remember the tv set, and the bracelet he wore under it?

That's the bedroom. Now why would he sit in AN's house in the bedroom watching telly to show how his movie is number 3 on Netflix? Tell me.... and if you're not convinced it is the bed room, look that video up of AN after Valbo stayed there as well not so long ago.

Now tell me that's smoke and mirrors, he's writing a review for his own place? Yeah, why he stayed at different places as well? Or was that also just for promo. And btw. the review can only be seen when logged in at the airbnb site.

And yes, the final piece is right there in the book. He stayed at his friend/business partners house in the HH. Why would he stay there having a miserable Christmas, with an injured knee and all. If you know the house, there huge stair to enter the house, many steps... right of course he would stay there and leave his 'own property' empty, or whatever.... doesn't make sense....

So there is that. All the people claiming other things, show me the evidence please. I showed you the evidence. I love a good challenge, but for the love of us all... don't start your sentence with maybe and come up with all kind of scenarios where you have not one shred of evidence or proof of concept. I'm just at the point that I don't care for it anymore. Believe what you want, for me there is more than enough evidence to be convinced of my believes.

Right, re: the sexism in TDS1, i think the season definitely engages with the sexism and violence of rust and marty in interesting ways. I forget the exact quote but early on rust says something like "I'm a bad man, we need bad men to keep other bad men from the door" which I've always found to be a pretty on the nose commentary on these themes. Marty & Rust justify their violence, sexism, and abuse of people's rights because they see themselves as good guys (in Marty's case), or in service of a greater good/lesser evil (in Rust's case). Which, they are the protagonists and sympathetic so I understand & in many ways agree with a reading that, like most cop shows, TD kind of ends up valorizing rust and marty. ANYWAY I've always thought it to be engaging with it the way you framed it in that other ask - the women and children in these men's lives are treated like shit, and I don't think the show justifies how they're treated like shit (tbh i don't even think the show paints women in a shitty way or blames them, it's that the protagonists do that which isn't the same), but MARTY justifies his behavior by believing that (1) its Not That Bad because it could be so much worse and (2) I'm A Hard Working Hero and I Deserve Slack. This ended up very rambling but i hope that makes sense

i think the most interesting thing about season one is that rust and marty are both not good people, as you mentioned rust views himself as a bad man but a correct bad man. he breaks laws and abuses his police power and uses violence to get what he wants but he does all of it because he knows/believes that it's the only way to get the badder man, the man abusing and killing women and children. his bad actions are correct and validated in his head because he has to catch his bad guy. obvi being undercover in narco for as long as he was changed him and how he views the law, like how he tells the woman he buys drugs from that "of course im dangerous, im police. i can do bad things with impunity". i can sympathize with rust far more than marty because you can see more/understand more why rust became who he is.

marty is a cheating controlling asshole who treats women like property and wants to impose his view of womanhood onto them. he gets mad when rust mows his lawn and talks to his wife when marty isn't home because marty is a cheater and most cheating men assume all other men are cheaters. but he feels it is warranted how he treats women, he tries every excuse in the book to write off his behavior to his wife but at his core he does what he wants and doesn't care much how it hurts others. he only cares because it affects him, he blames his mistress for ruining his family as if he didn't ruin it by sleeping with him.

rust is defined as a type of outlaw detective who does whatever he wants, regardless of using violence and police red tape, because he has convinced himself that he is right about his theory. he will put himself and marty in countless dangerous situations, attack and kill people (especially in the drug plot in the middle of the season) because he has convinced himself all of this has to happen. granted, at the end of the show rust Was right about everything so his actions seemed warranted but even he states that he was aware he might have been insane in his actions. he is so far gone into his desire for justice and to catch His killer nothing else matters, after he caught his killer the only thing he mentions about the case is how he didn't realize who it was when he first met him.

marty is interesting to me because he a womanizing cheating asshole who will hit his daughter without hesitation and cheat on his wife whenever he wants but will blow a suspect's head off because he was abusing children and finally quits because of a violent death of an infant. he claims being a family man is so important and wants rust to get a woman but breaks apart his own family because of what he wants.

wow one thing i love so Much about the Guys is that they’re all aware of their situation, one way or another. it’s such a cool little detail.

Red guy is the most obvious, being aware that he’s stuck. he wants out, he wants change. he might be the most aware of just how bad things are. he is constantly associated with testing things, even in the web series. in Love, when Yellow runs off, he says,

“He seems upset about something. I wonder what will happen.”

and again in Dreams, when he pulls the plug on the Computer,

“I wonder what will happen”

so right from the beginning, Red is associated with change. and in the tv series, he begins to start fighting back agains the Loop and the House, claiming several times that he wants to leave, that he wants a change.

we get to see this a lot in Transportation, pretty much through the whole episode. but when he’s telling Yellow about the neighbors, he makes a comment (though severely muffled due to Yellow’s daydream) about how their stuff won’t come to life anymore when they escape. and during his breakdown, he starts yelling at Duck that Groton and Hovris always end up back at home at the start of the next episode. it’s pretty clear that he’s actually talking about their life. and Red is desperate to get out of there.

he is aware, to some degree, that he is caught in a Loop.

Duck is different. Duck is aware that he is being watched. he knows to some extent that his actions are being documented. Duck is constantly associated with screens, and you can see more in this post and this post as well about how he breaks the fourth wall quite a few times, and is evidently the most accepting of their world, almost to an unhealthy extent.

so Duck is aware of an audience’s presence.

Yellow guy is aware of missing.

he doesn’t know what- probably a side effect of his old batteries. but he makes so many off handed comments through the show that truly make so much sense… he totally has a better grasp at what’s going on above the Guys then Duck and Red do. in Electricity, when Duck asks for help finding ‘the opposite of down. two letters.’ (which is clearly up) Yellow says,

“it’s when you can’t remember that over the top of you, there are… bigger ones, that are bigger, and bigger, and over the top of it there’s a smaller one and all of it, at the top of that.”

which is an exact description of what you find if you go up the stairs.

we know he’s done it before. based on the photo on the stairwell and Leslie’s comment about waiting for him, this obviously happens frequently. and i’m assuming that Yellow’s batteries get taken in most Loops, too. that’s why the other Guys haven’t read the Book yet.

Smart Yellow also makes it clear that he’s aware of his memory being messed with, and starts questioning the Loop and the Teachers (which Duck hates)

but Regular Yellow retains the memory of climbing the stairs. not by much, but enough to connect it with the word ‘up’ when he’s got no batteries and is already being controlled by whatever is keeping them in the House.

so Yellow is aware of the bigger picture, and of missing memories.

i just think it’s really cool to make all of them know that something is Wrong, but they’re too stubborn to just fucking talk to each other and maybe even escape

This is an explicative Post about The Dating history of Jongin. I want everyone to read it because I keep receiving asks asking me to explain this exact same thing. Yet when I do, no one reads it and they go again sending 30 asks every day regarding the issue. Read this, Cos I'm not replying to anyone asking about this anymore.

Ugh that Jini is back at it again, posting photos from her Busan trip on October 26th with her grandma and aunties and mom, to raise the speculations that she was with Ji there while he went with his group of friends one of them is Jrick Baek the new choreographer in SM who worked with him in his albums. Kindly note: She never usually posts the location of her photos, only when it's related to Jongin, suddenly she shares the name of the hotel and the street and the exact name of that place/restaurant/shop/whatsoever.

She's back at her things again. If you saw old posts from last year on this blog regarding Lee Jini (claimed Jongin's Gf) everytime Instagram and twitter Sasaengs share they're dating then I ask real sasaeng they say they are not dating. I don't wanna share her account and her photos here as you already know her account from last year's posts by old admins, you can go check them yourselves.

Anyway a summary of the old posts where old admins talked about this Lee Jini model girl: Well she is always at Jongin's schedules location, if he's in filming she's there, if he's in Fashion show in another country she posts stories she's there, if he's preparing for his album and is in the filming set she posts photos there in her story, she's always in his schedule and she has this tendency to Immediately Delete her stories only a short time after getting an attention of fans who start commenting on her posts that she is With Ji now and she replies to every single one of the comments saying "No we're just friends please support him and leave me alone "THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU START IT? WHY DID YOU POST PHOTOS FROM EVERYWHERE HE IS AT? IF U DON'T WANT THAT ATTENTION? and WHY DO YOU SIT DOWN AND REPLY TO 34 COMMENTS ON YOUR POSTS FROM JONGINS FANS??" If you don't want the attention I know you shouldn't simply post stories and posts from his same location. Sounds like an attention seeker Pick Me Behavior to me.

But the one that got the insta Sasaengs attention is when she posted a story in The shop of "The Devil wears Jeongnam 😈" show where she posted herself sitting inside Mr.Jeongnam's store trying some new sneakers the exact same day Jongin was filming there with him and Sehun as a guest in the show, that's when Instagram sasaengs caught on her and contacted her friends and she maybe told her friends to tell Sasaengs that her and Jongins are indeed dating while she told us in the comments section that she just knows Jongin as a celebrity and has nothing to do with him and to leave her alone?!? I remember her reply to one of the commenters "I don't even know who he is leave me alone!" I wish I had the screenshots but she deleted the posts where she got massive comments from ExoL and erigoms.

Anyway, Lee Jini originally named Park Jiyong was after her father's name Park Minseok or something . Anyway she was born in January 26th 1999 is a model actress beauty guru she also sings or whatever she does everything typical of a rich girl who has access to everything because her mom pushes her to do everything in the Industry. She the daughter of an Old SM Big Actress, Scriptwriter and Business woman she has roots and contacts in the movie industry or whatsoever I don't know I care about her mom, old admins shared the full profile of her mom in this blog go check it, her mom is a big pillar and one of the direction team of SM, she basically can get access to Exo's schedule and future trips and future projects and shows and all, her mom is an Actress and Scriptwriter means she works on SM artists Shows'scripts and Movies and drama scripts, she is well known in the movie and variety show industry, she got her daughter aka Jini VIP Pass to every Exo concert since debut not free Tickets but a whole Pass with encore stage and backstage and after party access, means she can go and take photos with the members and attend Exo's after parties with their staff and best-friends and family after their concert wrap-up. Anyway Some Sasaengs on Twitter are saying Jongin's a golddigger and wants Sponsorships to Up his career and get more deals and More screen on National TV and more promotions and international Brand deals so he is fucking her for that because her Mom is a big personality in the industry and can easily get him all that. Which is not true! because we all know how HARD Jongin works. If he relies on his Gf Jini's Mom's Contacts to get him easy sponsors and opportunities, why is he suffering and working extra hard as we all see and saw for 11 years now and him saying he paid his own promotions because SM is lazy and won't let him go promote in Variety shows! He said himself he was the one who contacted every Show and asked them if he can appear on it! And he did it for the fans! Because Exo were on hiatus and he wanted to work so hard to promote his albums and also to not let Exo's name die down because of members'enlistment. (I've got the video for that but I don't want to share it because I'm lazy).

I've spoken to some insiders they all said she's more of an obsessed fan than his gf. But he had indeed go out on a fanmeeting/business-date with her by request from her mother longtime ago as her Favorite celebrity, she also had that meeting/date with Suho and Minseok and Lay, Spoiled sugar baby energy. She also invited Exo and Minho from SHINee and some other SM artists to exclusively attend her Fancy Birthday parties and they all attended because they have to when it's a her mom sending the invitations. Anyway Sasaengs on twitter are sharing this photo saying it's Lee Jini and Ji in military, it's not them! That's an unseen photo of Chanyeol with his Mom or aunt or whoever that is. And without me confirming it to you anyhow, you have eyes I believe, so you can tell the lady in the photo is overweight and short looks old nothing like a body of a slim 171cm tall young model. As we all know by now, at its core, Good Omens is a love story. I mean, it is about possibly the first two beings to ever FEEL love. About the first two beings to get be BLINDED by love.

Crowley loves- well he loves life- the potential it has to grow, change, to experience. From the very first moments he loved the stars and the potential each one had to become something of itself and he had a hand in that. To Crowley, the universe wasn’t made to just surround the Earth- to him every part of it was just as important- he loved every part of it. He loved it so much that the very idea of its destruction made him fall. Yet he still loved the universe even when it was beyond his reach. In Eden Crowley did whatever he could to give life and humanity the potential to become more than just a “breeding pair” he gave them the ability to ask, to sin, and most importantly, to do good. When he met the angel who gave up his sword- risking plenty of trouble from Above- so that Adam and Eve could survive, he began to realize he wasn’t the only one who loved creation. He saved the lives of both Job’s children and goats because they didn’t deserve death, they had plenty to live for. He tempted the angel of the Eastern Gate to try food because he deserved to enjoy his existence as well. He deserved to thrive rather than just “live”. An angel who risked falling just to protect the lives of three children. Eventually Crowley came to love this angel who loved creation just as much as he did, who grew and changed along with it. Who, no matter how many decades passed always greeted him with an “Oh! It’s YOU again!” and a smile. Because HE got it. He understood what neither Above nor Below could ever understand- the world didn’t need to suffer- HE didn’t need to suffer for wanting to live. Yet, when Crowley watched Heaven tell his friend to “shut his mouth and die” ( don’t remember the exact line) he realised that there was no “good side” anymore. It was only him and the angel. But then that angel left him to join the same side which would condemn him to death for loving.

Aziraphale loves love. As cringey as it sounds- thats how I see it. He loved the being that loved the stars so passionately that he would risk everything to save them. Who loved goats and humans so much that he would do anything he could to save them from an unjust death. Who showed a young man in a desert all the beauty of the world- not to tempt him- but to let him see the things he would never be able to for the Almighty would let him die early despite claiming to love him. Aziraphale loves literature so much because the speak of love. The love and passion of the author. The love the characters have for each other. But he still loved heaven. Because he believes that it is still the side of love- or atleast has the potential to be. When he has an offer that means that he can make things better he is so excited because he can bring the one being that understands love with him. They can make things better together. His demon does not want to go back to a place that can be the side of good, of love. And that breaks his heart. Yet as much as they both love humanity, life, love, being, whatever. Both Aziraphale and Crowley still love the Almighty. Aziraphale loves them for what he believes they stand for. Good. But Crowley, who has had everything he has ever loved taken from him by them. By their plan. He still loves them. Because how couldn’t he love the one who made the world he loves so much? He loves them because, at the end of the day, it’s because of them that he was able to love in the first place. At the end of the day, love both brought them together and separated them. But that’s just the ineffably of the Almightys plan, is it not? Anyway idk where I’m going with this. Tbh it’s just spam and if you made it this far congrats on getting this far.

The necklace that she returned almost immediately and Truth-Teller. Two things Azriel has given her that she returned.

Truth-Teller is especially hilarious to me because there is always something revealed when it’s on the page. Somehow Feyre asking about whether the cauldron is wrong is more important than the manner Elain gave back the knife as foreshadowing.

“Azriel didn’t expect her to keep it!” “Azriel just lent it to her!”

Well, he sure as hell didn’t ask for it back. Elain made sure she pressed it back to him before he could get a word in and walked away.

The mental gymnastics could have given Simone Biles a run for her money. They spent too much time nitpicking canon that directly argues against whatever arguments they have, and they don't even have a quote to show that Azriel looks at Elain with any sort of yearning or longing. Az's BC is Schrödinger's canon because it's both important and not important to the story.

SJM won't confirm his mate in a bonus chapter, but somehow it's valid to prove that Azriel was pining over Elain, not Mor by the fire?

I said it before and I’ll say it over and over again. For a group who loves to claim that it’s Elain’s choice, Azriel had not once given Elain a choice, and the two times Elain did put herself out there, Azriel had shut her down both times.

My telltale sign that a theory is made by an Elriel is when they emphasize that Elain will make a choice when it comes to her book, and it'll be Az vs Lucien. She'll make a choice, but it's not as shallow as which boy she wants to be with. It'll be whether to stay where she does not belong or take a leap of fate and leave. Because that's what Feyre, Lucien, and Nesta all faced.

The only person who has given her a choice has been her own mate.

Nathan Scott Vs Dan Scott AKA Some of the ways that Nathan is a better person than his father

One of the biggest things about Dan is that when he was about Nathan’s age, he got his high school girlfriend, Karen, pregnant. And it’s mentioned many times how Dan chose Basketball over being with Karen. He then abandoned his eldest son, went to college where he met Deb Lee. Within a month Deb became pregnant with Nathan. Dan Scott lived under the assumption that you can’t live your dreams and also be married with a child at the same time. He probably blamed all of his failures on Deb and Nathan and you can see how that bitterness festered. You can see it with Nathan. When Nathan got married, Dan told him that decision would spell the end of his Basketball future. When Haley got pregnant he acted like Duke was the end all be all and without it then he could say goodbye to his career in Basketball. You can see how Nathan found himself in a very similar situation to Dan. They were both about 18 and about to embark on college with a Basketball scholarship. Yet Nathan came that fork in the road and he took the mature/responsible/and loving road. He elevated his wife and child and in the end he achieved his dream of playing in the NBA but he didn’t choose to be an asshole in the process.

Nathan is an incredible teammate/team player. That story that Dan tells is so indicative of his arrogance and selfishness. He claims he felt bad for his teammates when he threw the championship game but it’s so clear from the pride in which he tells this story that he felt he was in the right and felt no shame. Which there’s a certain bit of shame that goes into feeling bad for another person especially if you were the one to cause what is making that person feel bad. Nathan is upset about being benched but at the end of the day he does what is best for the team and actively tries to help them win from the bench.

That first scene is really when he start to see what a truly horrible father Dan was. Yeah, we see the repercussion of his abandonment of Lucas. We see him say some truly horrifying things to Lucas but in this moment as Nathan tells this story... we find out that he physically abused Nathan. I mean that is a really disturbing story that Nathan tells and it makes you see Nathan in another light. Up until that point in S1, Nathan had been the bully of the show but in this moment we see how he became that person and it makes you love him even more when he makes the decision to be a better guy and not to become his father and continue the cycle of abuse. That second scene makes me so emotional because Nathan is in the exact position his father was in. His son Jamie is playing in Baseball little league and he is the coach. Nathan perceptively realizes that his son is nervous. He calls a timeout like his father had and then goes over to his son and give him advice in the most sweet and gentle way. And reassures him that no matter how well he does or doesn’t do, it won’t affect how much he loves Jamie and then encourages him/makes it clear that he has faith in his ability.

I feel like this one speaks entirely for itself but I will try to add on to it. In both these situations Dan and Nathan are having marital problems with Deb and Haley respectively and have moved out of the house. Dan makes it clear that he gonna play dirty and do whatever it takes to get Nathan away from Deb even if it means dragging her through the mud and making her out to be an unfit mother. But then you compare that to Nathan and how he will always love Haley and will always be her champion. He could never try to make her out to be an unfit mother and he would never try to turn Jamie against her. He loves Haley and he wants their son to love Haley.

And then as sort of a follow up to the last one... Dan and Deb briefly went to therapy at the behest of Deb and later in the show Nathan and Haley went to therapy. And in these two scenes you see the different ways that Dan and Nathan are approaching this. Dan is belligerent from the start. He clearly doesn’t want to be there, he interrupts Deb every time she’s speaking, he cannot and will not take constructive criticism, or take responsibility for any of his actions and the therapy session ends within 5 minutes at which point he walks out. I think he goes one more time and then completely refuses to ever go to therapy again. Nathan on the other hand wants to work on his marriage and so does Haley. They go to therapy for about a month, work through their issues, are respectful of each other, apologize, try to make things right and in the end they reconcile and come back as a couple stronger than ever.

Nathan Scott is truly one of the most incredible TV characters i’ve seen and he definitely has the best character development. He could have continued on the path he was going but instead he chose to be a good guy. And he didn’t fall into the Dawson Leery syndrome which is when you talk about being a nice guy all the time but act like an ass. Nathan became a nice guy and you see it in his actions, not in his lip service. Nathan could admit when he was wrong, he was a faithful one woman man, he supported and loved his wife, he was a wise and loving and present father. He’s talented. He’s confident yet at the same time not arrogant.

I love how it’s hellers and AAs always throwing a fit because someone does Barn Scene (or adjacent) ops with J2, claiming Jensen is traumatized over the death of fictional character, when they are the ones who over-step boundaries with Jensen and Jared, the actual people, like posing with them"gutted" shirt with Jared, or trying to force Jensen into destiel poses with Misha, or wearing things in ops like shirts that say, "Jensen Ackles is my baby daddy."

J2 know the barn scene is very meaningful for many fans and they've said it was for them, too. And from some accounts, they’ll even chose that pose when someone asks then to do whatever they want. They clearly aren’t bothered. Meanwhile, you can see Jensen death stare when he’s asked to get too intimate with Misha or a fan in ops, and we’ve heard accounts of him altering the asked for position enough that the fan is not getting exactly what they wanted (because it was crossing a line).

Crying or getting faux outraged about fans joking about the barn scene is ridiculous, especially since Jensen himself mimed joking about the rebar going through Dean on the first Gold Panel he and Jared did when cons came back after COVID (Denver 2021). Jensen grabbing his shirt and pulling it out as if he’d been impaled, and laughing after, is not the action of someone who is "traumatized." Being annoyed by the manner in which his character died and being in a "glass cage of emotion" Rob Burgundy style over it are two very different things.

People need to learn the difference between being annoyed over real-life overstepping of people’s boundaries (or at least common courtesy) and simply projecting their own outrage onto an actor because they don’t like a pose (especially based off of a joke the actor themselves made). People in this fandom need to grow the F up.

Also, I get that I’m not totally free of projecting either when I see Jensen looking "dead inside" during a heller op, but my observation is also based off of him specifically saying he and Misha have been asked to do things that are crossing the line (and he literally just mentioned that again on the Hawaii main panel last weekend). Barn op outrage is purely based off of fan's own emotional reaction over disliking that Dean died and/or the fact that he loved Sam more than anyone else.

Jensen has said he's proud of the barn scene, multiple times. Jensen has joked about the rebar specifically, multiple times, while laughing. Sure, Jensen has said multiple times he was taken aback by Dean dying the initial pitch - and every single one of those times he also said he was talked around by people he respected the opinions of! Jensen has said he doesn't see D/C as part of Dean's story, multiple times. Jensen has specifically cited things fans have asked for in ops with Misha as being uncomfortable, multiple times. The most he's ever given them is variations on 'interpret what you want, we don't have to agree on what's important about SPN'.

When we read into Jensen's expressions in ops, we're not just projecting what we want to believe he thinks. We're considering the totality of what he's said - not cherry-picking only the bits we like or deciding he must actually think the exact fucking opposite of what he's said because we do.

Also? When we ask him (and Jared) to act out a scene literally straight out of the canon that they played huge parts in creating the specifics of even beyond acting? We're respecting them as people and professional actors. In a way shit like those creepy t-shirts, like treating them as posable blow-up dolls, like wanting them to act out fanfic, like paying them to hold signs and insisting it means something about them personally, like insisting they don't understand their own show and their own acting as well as some randos on the internet do? Never ever fucking does.

Or really, everything under the sun. But since Memphis was a little kid, he could see both of his grandparents clear as day as if the two of them had never passed. And unfortunately for him, he could hear them too; and all the opinions that came with them.

Unfortunately for Memphis, they weren’t the only ones. His powers had activated earlier than most, or so his mother had told him. The ability to see and speak to the dead, an ability that was apparently not exclusive to their family. What seemed to be exclusive though was the rate at which they became ghosts. For as long as anybody could remember, every single Malik that passed away returned as a ghost. Forced to exist on this Earth until they lost any sense of themselves and were forced to be exorcized. That was apparently a unique Malik family trait. They all wanted something from the remaining Malik’s. Their exact ask changed from ghost to ghost but it all boiled down to one common desire: peace. Everyone wanted to move on, and that wasn’t something Memphis could help them do.

Despite this, growing up wasn’t terrible. Both of his parents supported Memphis and tried to keep the ghosts from bothering him too much. Sure, school was a nightmare when one of his ancestors would show up and scream at him to deliver a letter to a former loved one or to find a box hidden under a mattress and throw it away without looking at what was in it- gross - but overall, he had developed coping mechanisms and had his parents and his younger sister that helped him not only get through school - but medical school and residency too.

Memphis couldn’t provide his family peace, so he wasn’t sure why he thought he could keep his forever. When his parents were taken from him, everything started falling apart. The worst part? His parents were right there as ghosts, watching him fall to pieces without being able to do anything about it.

Now it was just Memphis and his little sister Clarissa, who so far hadn’t shown any signs of being a medium herself. Not yet, at least. But whatever his parents had been doing to distract the ghosts didn’t exist anymore, and for now the only person left to bear the brunt of this curse was Memphis. He may already be cursed, but he would be damned if he was going to become some lonely, trapped spirit like the rest of his family did. Most importantly, he refused to make Clary have to deal with it. So now it was on him to find a way to finally put an end to it.

Character Facts:

Personality: Friendly, exhausted, clueless, cautious, scatter-brained, distracted, paranoid

Memphis almost always wears large, noise-canceling headphones. They have become the most reliable way to tune out whatever member of his family had shown up to wreak havoc on his life. Unfortunately this also comes at the cost of him tending to block out the rest of the world as well

Memphis has spent his entire life trying to avoid his family’s spirits. So much so that he’s never really explored the other sides of the supernatural world in White Crest.

Memphis has taken over sole custody of his twelve year old sister, Clary. She has basically become his entire world now, and he is entirely too dependent on her. She could use some space.

Between the ghosts constantly trying to grab his attention, the hospital, and caring for a twelve year old - Memphis is very tired.

Something seems to keep his family members from expressing exactly how they died. Memphis is no expert on curses, but he’d say that was definitely suspicious.

While Memphis did finish med school, the death of his parents made things too difficult to continue his residency. He dropped out shortly after to focus on taking care of his sister.

hiii!! i just wanted to say i really enjoyed your posts and wanted your thoughts on shipping rn in the jjk fandom. personally i’m not really a shipper when it comes to shonen fandoms but im happy that people enjoy doing so :) but lately the way people are shipping has left me feeling weird. i feel like shipping used to be “these two have a cool dynamic, making nice fanart and fics, making fun little threads about the characters and just staying in that little ships fandom/ship community” but now a lot of it is “this ship is “canon” and “confirmed” (it isn’t lol), leaving horrid comments on dedicated pages to a ship other than theirs, calling people illiterate etc’, there’s a few ships that people do this for in jjk (one definitely in particular). as someone who reads the original japanese text a lot of cultural and textual nuance is, as people say, lost in translation. i see so many people showing ‘evidence’ of the ship being ‘canon’ when in fact it’s quite a lot of mistranslations or essentially false information. what happened to shippers who knew that ‘the ship is probably not going to be canon but that’s okay we can still have fun with it’ to now full blown arguments and vitriol spouted towards another person (whether they are a non-shipper or a shipper of something else). i’ve seen people (especially gojohime shippers) get doxxed, and had horrible things said to them that i’m not even sure im allowed to spell out on here, i genuinely feel bad. i don’t see anything that’s wrong with the ship. its legal and, since im a big shoujo reader, actually falls into a lot of shoujo tropes. i’ve seen people say that utahime was 100% cheering when gojo died and things like that, i don’t understand why they turn her into some cold hearted woman ?? i don’t know, hopefully people learn that their interpretations or way of thinking isn’t going to be the same as everyone else nor is it the authority since at the end of the day it’s technically Akutami’s and whatever he writes thats what ill go with. i’m sorry this is so long <3

I don’t mind the long post, anon!! My inbox is always open for yapping, and I totally get what you mean, like since when did shipping’s entire existence hinges to is-it-gonna-be-canon olympics?? People have differing preferences!! We seriously just here to vibe, and I can’t believe it can become a toxic space of threatening each other over some totally FICTIONAL character, like seriously, why you stressing over this shit? I feel like these people online just get off from stirring up bullshit because they don’t have much of a life offline.

I also disagree with the claim of Utahime cheering Gojo’s death because that’s essentially stripping the highlighting qualities of Utahime. She’s a caring teacher who is adored by her students. I think of her having a similar reaction as Shoko throughout the Sukuna fight where she’s tots stressed out (and dunking beer in the side from all the stress lol). As for Utahime’s exact reaction to his death, my HC is that in the back of her mind she's aware there always a possibility of him dying because that’s just the line of work they are in, and this fanart actually kinda illustrates how I see Utahime reacting.

So, apparently Mobox87 has blocked me (not surprising or upsetting. Not like I'm going to have an outburst like I did in 2016) and messaged Kevonica about my post on Miles due to how she's brought up in it. I just want to clarify that she wouldn't have been brought up at all if she didn't put Miles on a pedestal for any issues that he causes with artists or with Mobox87 fans. So, yeah not my fault you get dragged into drama because Miles has to bring you into the argument for his defense.

But-

I will just say that I won't do another rant post on Mobox since I don't want to thrive on that to where she's becoming more uncomfortable being online than she already is. I don't support her IRL stalker and online stalker madbox91 harassment nor do I wish her to harm herself like she did before over Zombify's Twitter thread and feel that she needs to be taken off the internet by deleting her accounts all over social media.

I've come to a point where I don't care if Mobox87 apologizes because her and I will never be on good terms which the same could be said to her ex-friends that were once close to her. Plus, her apologies won't ever go into details on what she's done wrong since they always go on to say "I've done some bad things" (like what did you do?) or victimize herself saying "I was a manipulable person" (that neglects the fact that you made bad decisions on your own sense of mind not by others requests or demands). Either way, it's whatever at this point. I don't need 21 apologies for her to say publicly or privately to everyone.

Honestly, what goes on with Mobox87's art is whatever at this point. As long as she keeps explicit content on a second account that isn't advertised on her main then that's fine. Some may disagree but that's a post I'll talk about soon since I do want some understanding on what can work with mature story tellng.

So, Mobox this won't be the last you'll hear from me. Not until I make one last post on giving a sneak peek of my script segment "Understanding" which will later follow up with a Maverick video posted here. For now, do whatever you want Mobox. Anything and everything said about you has been done.

In other words, I'll leave you alone for now since I do want you to succeed expectations to prove that you have changed as a person online.

Miles responded to my timeline post, specifically part 6 of my post cause I showed how he wanted to be in a committed relationship with a minor that was 16 who barely becoming 17.

Apparently he's been calling out Kevonica, Cagney and I out. Kev has been getting labeled as homophobic, racists and a pedophile with no evidence provided against her.

Most of the stuff said on his new account is just propaganda to make him look like he's the victim in the situation I called him out in. It's quite honestly no surprise he'd stoop so low as to label us as something we're not with out any evidence.

So just know that Miles is saying shit out of his ass.

One example being that he posted on his Instagram account "human_anthony_dust" and reposted on his new Tumblr account, calling me out as a pedo still and lying about how I "claimed false age" to his OC that he bought from Mobox87.

Which again he never announced the age of the OC publicly. Even then you can age up characters in drawings but I didn't since the OC is 30 years old or in his 30s. He's complaining over nothing.

Vinsnake is literally William Afton created as a fantasy character for Faces of Nothing. William Afton is a character in his 30s in which Mobox87 herself made Vinsnake around that exact age as it was originally attended.

Again, Miles never made the character 16 years old until he bitched about my drawing in response for harassing Yuriviq on DeviantArt.

Ironic though-

You made a character 16 years old last minute while you were trying to get with someone who you said was a 16 year old.

Even more ironic, that most of the OCs you kept the longest were kid OCs from Mobox87 while the adult OCs you owned were sold off first.

Doesn't really help your case after admitting you wanted to be with someone under 18.

Oh but wait-

I suppose you did take Kev's own words into consideration.

But that contradicts your deleted post before publicly sharing that "Important info".

You're obviously lying to protect your image and make Kev look guilty for showing me her conversation with you so I can look like I'm the dumb one jumping to conclusions.

The last response from Miles was this. Still being misleading and excusing his own actions

Pop-Culture Gnosticism: Why Fandoms are Toxic

We all know about toxic fandoms, and I've had my share of them with the RWBY Fandom and have heard horror stories from others about other fandoms, all of which bizarrely always preach bout positive things.

My personal example is with the FNDM with its preaching about "hope punk" and "trusting love" and claiming their appeal to the tragedy is driven by "ultimately hopeful" motives even though their tone and behavior seem to show the exact opposite.

Now looking back on it along with my faith as a Christian, Catholic to be exact, I have theory the reason why.

It's a form of secular Gnosticism.

Those who don't know what that is, Gnosticism is an esoteric religion/mystery religion thats rooted in having "The Gnosis"(knowledge) for salvation

The gnostic believed that the material world is evil, a prison created by a trickster god known as "The Demiurge" and our bodies themselves prison as well, for we are supposedly pieces of God, "The Monad", being kept from achieving "oneness" with him and the only way to achieve salvation is to gain "gnosis" or "knowledge"

This led to very hedonistic practices(sleeping around, drugs, self mutilation) or puritanical practices(akin to Christian Fundamentalism or Puritanism) in order to become "pure of corruption" or even trying to bend the material world to ones will to bring the world to "oneness" with "the monad" because Gnosticism basically says "Because you have gnosis, you are a piece of God, therefore you are God and whatever you do is justified if its to help all of humanity achieve oneness with the Monad"

During the Church's infancy, the Church fathers fought furiously against heresies that infiltrated the church, and for good reasons.

Gnostics not only try to deny Christ's redemption of the material by becoming man, they were also doing very terrible things in the name of a nebulous greater good while holding double standards against others, doing harm to others and society in the name of virtue.

Sound familiar?

let me given a personal example with my experience with the toxic FNDM post-V3 Finale which I can go into detail in another post at later time

A considerable amount of people left when the dark turn and the tragic end of Pyrrha and Arkos happened, and a lot of loyal fans used it as an opportunity to viciously mock them and accuse them wanting everything to be all "sunshine and rainbows" all while boasting the morals and messages of the finale and season and make this the end-all-be-all for characters like Pyrrha and Jaune in epic stories. Because they had "the gnosis" and these supposed to be plebeians, wether they were majority or minority, did not. Even having the nerve to act like they can be offended on Monty's behalf and his family even though they never met or spoken to them.

And they became more puritanical and hostile to Blake and Yang ships that are not Bumbleby and rewrites and AUs, such as the case of Fixing RWBY and RWBY: Remnants, and I'm sure RWBY Evermorrow is on their hit-list too. They see it as an obstruction of achieving "oneness" and a form of "impurity"

Bishop Robert Barron explains this kind of phenomena pretty well. It's an appeal to one's pride because humans love the feeling being the select few who "get it" and "we really know what's going on."

This isn't the perfect theory, there is a gnostic pattern here. I can go into detail later on in another post but I hope this explains somewhat of what might be going on.

Alright this is going to be a very different post, more serious based. This would probably be the second time I have to bring to light to a situation with someone who’s problematic, only difference is it’s in regards to a now ex friend

In regards of @/arwenson who was one of the main re8 writers on here, they were found out to be lying about their age. They are a minor, 15 to be exact.

I found out early today by my friend Max who showed me a screenshot of her admitting it in a discord server. To clarify I was not in the discord server, from my understanding it was 18+.

Now arwen has deactivated apparently, they claim they were going to tell everyone, I’m not sure if they did. I would assume not but I could be wrong.

Now to first address why this an issue with a minor posting nsfw content. It’s not only dangerous but also can get adults in legal trouble.

It’s dangerous because there are so many disgusting people and predators on the internet who likes taking advantage of minors. I speak from experience of this, I was groomed on the internet. I had adults take advantage of my naivety and how sexual I use to be online. And it can lead to minors getting sex trafficked, kidnapped, or killed. Look at how many cases of children getting snatch and not being found again. It’s a very serious thing, especially if you’re posting 18+ content.

On top of the fact when you lie about your age and get in adult spaces you can also put those adults in trouble. The stuff Arwen and a good majority of our mutuals who are adults could have been plastered as sex offenders had their parents saw what was going on. I literally paid Arwen to write explicit sex scenes of my character with Lady D, and I could have gotten in trouble for that.

“Oh but It’s not a big deal.” It is, people have gotten in trouble for that. And I’m very active of not wanting minors to fall into that trap from gross adults, I try not to be too explicit on here to prevent exposing minors to content. Whenever I post nsfw I tag it and now with this new update from tumblr I can switch the audience from general to mature. I don’t want to expose minors to stuff I got exposed to growing up.

It hurts me especially to find out my friend was lying about their age and willingly putting adults in possible trouble. It’s a trust that has been broken, and it really hurts. I’m not really mad, I’m more disappointed in them. I do hope they learn from this and to never ever do something like this again.

I know my other mutuals who were affected by this are just as hurting and to them I say my dms are always open if you need to vent or whatever.

I do want to also add in that a few mutuals are also mad at my other friend who told me about this in the first place. I want to say I understand that y’all are angry at them, you have every right to be. But I also think we should also hear their side of the story. I’m not going to go into grave detail because that’s not my story to tell, it’s his. However he told me that Arwen threaten to deny anything when he originally wanted to say something. And he had no evidence to back him up so she could have easily deny it and make up a wild story to make him out to be the bad guy. While yes, he should have told everyone with no proof it was their word against hers. I think we should all listen to his side of the story before we throw him out as just as guilty. But that’s just me

Anyway that’s all I have to say on the matter. I hope things get better for the people who were involved and that’s it. Be safe everyone
