Considering the family doesn’t have their powers anymore at the end of s3, Viktor can use his violin as a weapon
Sshhh I know we don’t even see him with a violin at all in s3, but I can dream

Alright, here's a little thing that's been bothering me:
With Viktor's transition incorporated into Season Three, I've seen an uptick in probably well-meaning people preaching that you should now under no circumstances mention Viktor's deadname. The common reasoning I've seen is that "deadnames are connected to trauma for many trans people, and probably especially so for Viktor" but here's the thing;
Viktor Hargreeves is a fictional character who has never canonically expressed his emotions towards his deadname. Respecting someone who doesn't exist for emotions they haven't expressed isn't the priority people are making it out to be. I personally have had people send me hate over a post where the joke was Vanya also being a male name in Russian, chest-beating about trans trauma that I've been through myself.
You shouldn't actively try to misgender Viktor or ignore the transition, because the character is written as trans and erasing that affects real trans people, but any headcanons about his experience are just that, and you can't force your headcanons onto other people.

Is no one else concerned over the fact that there are only three volumes of The Umbrella Academy comics (besides a Klaus spin off) and we’ve already had three seasons…

Did Reggie lie? (Again)
So going into TUA season three, I thought we had pretty obvious cause and effect – the umbrellas made a mess of the dinner and Reggie used some method (Monocle, logic, take your pick) to make sure he got different babies this time. First trial was a failure, time for take two. Easy Peasy. Reggie even said something along those lines in the very first episode…But!
Later on, we learn that he never even got a choice. The Umbrellas were never born in this timeline. He only had 16 babies to choose from, and the Umbrellas were none of those choices (I’m going to assume all the Umbrellas died since they were energy signals familiar to Harlan. Ben was dead AND gone to the light before they ever could have met so he got lucky.)
I don’t know. Maybe Reggie was still planning to adopt different children and was just mildly pleased when they weren’t even options, or maybe he lied and was still planning to adopt some if not all of the Umbrellas if he could have. They were a mess but clearly powerful and having some knowledge of the future helps control variables/avoid mistakes.
Either way, he definitely exaggerated how much choice he had in the whole thing and I wonder if Sissy hadn’t died on October the First (the timing of which is a post for a later date) if the Umbrellas would have come back to a far more familiar universe like they were hoping.

i love how Smart klaus is. his siblings and reginald tend to treat him like a clown who doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he consistently makes intelligent decisions they wouldn’t have though to make. like when he jumped onto the bison instead of getting kugelblitzed. he understood that it would just straight up wipe him from existence, and he wouldn’t be able to go to the other place. i love it he’s so smart

love how old man five was this season. the outfit he wore on the trip with klaus ? peak grandfather. his excitement at a big ball of twine? even more grandfather. he really let the old man side of him take over, i’m surprised he didn’t go fishing or something.

Okay but how is no one talking about when they have to stand in the 7 spots and 6 stand there and when Reginald tells Allison to not stand on it Five and Allison stare at each other, at this point Five knows what’s going on, he knows that he’s going to be hurt if he stands on it since he explains when he’s having the life sucked out of him that Dad killed Luther and he’s responsible for Klaus, so he could have refused to stand or made Allison stand there by saying that this was her plan and what she wanted, but no. He stares at his sister before blinking to the spot. In no way surprised when he’s hurt. Say what you will about five but when things matter this man chooses his family over himself every single time.

Okay, so there's 16 women giving birth now? Idk how the timeline impacted that number, but somehow it did, so....
