ok idk if you follow “thedogist” on tik tok. if not you should because it’s the cutest account ever😭 he goes around in public and asks people if he can take professional pics of their dogs. i’m just imagining shy sitting in a park with kal and the guy’s a little nervous to approach because clearly kal is in like guard dog mode since she’s by herself but kal’s such a handsome boy so he gets some great pics😩

Omg she was so relieved that he wanted pictures of Kal and not her. Shy was very worried that he was paparazzi or something. She even shocked herself by agreeing. She got one of the pictures framed for Henry. It made Henry’s day seeing his pooch in a framed photo.

I follow a guy on Instagram who takes pics of peoples' dogs and does videos of him like going up to ask to take photos and asks about the dog.

Just saw one where he talks to this guy in Brooklyn with a gorgeous dog named Katara. The guy says he used to have another one and they were a team. The other one was named Prince Zuko. My heart.

These are the images I chose for the third task which was to capture depth of field. In the first image I used an aperture setting of 5.0, I like this image because Mac (my subject) is slightly off centre and I personally think it compliments the fact that he has wild scruffy wool that is not symmetrical, which could give the viewer different aspects to focus on. I did not use my tripod to take this picture, I just tried to get as close to Macs eye level as I could. 

For my second image we headed to the beach. I set my camera to AV mode and made the aperture setting 22.0. What I like about this image is that the line between the ocean and sky is defined and almost fits perfectly with the rule of thirds, though the line made by the ocean is cutting diagonally through the middle of the 2nd part.
