Kloktober 2023 day 4 - Favorite headcanon
“Yous two will gets along as Týr does dabble in progs musics.”
My favorite headcanon is that Skwisgaar and Týr still speak regularly. They bonded so close in “Fatherklok” and I don’t think Týr would hold Servetta’s transgressions against Skwisgaar. I love themmmm.
Just a sketch tonight because I spent the day sick as a dog!

but love is impossible and goes on, despite the impossible
Ada Limón
“Impossible” is what Iwaizumi called it when Tobio said that Oikawa had asked him to dinner after the All-Star Match, but it had been followed by a muttered “finally” as he covered his face with his hands, exhaling as if the weight of the world had left his shoulders.
“Impossible” is what Hinata exclaimed when Tobio told him that Oikawa had made plans to visit him in Italy and had hinted Tobio should come to Argentina, but it was punctuated with an easy laugh and punch to the shoulder. “Don’t mess it up.”
“I won’t,” Tobio replied sulkily, not quite sure what there was or wasn’t to mess up.
“Impossible” is what Miwa shrieked when she found out he was in a relationship with Oikawa Tooru (of all people?!), though she was more upset that she had to learn through “a stupid online article and not from my actual brother who didn’t think it important enough to tell me!”
Oops.
Impossible is what runs through Tobio’s mind over and over, every second they have together—intertwined fingers, playful banter, little kisses, long video calls, excited reunions, somber goodbyes—moments of affection compounding as if trying to make up for their painful past tenfold, twentyfold, a hundredfold.
“You’re impossible” is what Oikawa says in faux exasperation when Tobio once again does not understand some pop culture reference, but he’s laughing as he aggressively ruffles Tobio’s hair, probably with the intent to mess it up. Tobio scowls, grabbing his boyfriend’s wrist to stop him, then pulling him in for a quick peck to shut him up.
“You’re impossible” is what Tobio retorts back and Oikawa’s eyes light with mischief as he goes in for another kiss like it’s simple and easy, like there’s never been anything more natural in the world, in spite of how they began.
And Tobio starts to think maybe it is possible after all.

Liberal/progressive Christian forums sometimes get posts from people with a bad case of scrupulosity (think OCD but all your intrusive thoughts are about hell, sin, and damnation)
And lately we’ve had several people who are panicked about the rapture
And they’re always startled to find out that
1. The rapture is a fairly recent idea in Christianity, like from the 1800’s
2. The majority of Christians even now don’t believe in the rapture
3. It’s just a really bad interpretation of a few random verses out of context
—and it makes me so sad. So much of conservative Christianity (of all flavors) intentionally fills people with fear as a way of making them obedient, and it just didn’t have to be that way.
Meanwhile, the beatitudes in Matthew were the daily reading recently. How can anyone read them and think Jesus wanted us to be filled with fear and anxiety?!

Tea Rose — "I’ll remember, always.” (weeee)
Send my muse some flowers and they'll react to their meaning
Shuddered breaths divorced her lips. Heat rushed behind her eyes faster than she could react to the suddenly formed tears in the basin of her eyes. Her hands held the flowers dearly, gingerly, afraid of crushing them against her bosom. In silence she wept; her slender shoulders offered a slight tremble, though she corrected instinctively and desperately tried to reclaim her lost composure.
The emotion was not one of sadness, but of relief, relief that there was someone who would remember her and what little imprint she may leave behind when her time comes to an end. Perhaps this manifested fear that she may be forgotten was something that carried on from her previous life, that no one would remember that she lived.
Flowers cut and displayed were already dying once steel met the stem, Kikyo knew that it was a matter of time until the petals began to wilt and litter the surface of her low table. She could only delay the inevitable for sentimental reasons, though as long as it bloomed, it would serve as a reminder, one she was thankful for.

Kinda wanna fuck around with the "see you in hell, boys"-verse but not with anything that's going to move the overarcing story along, just something stupid and short and fluffy and nice and yes ofc smutty but like sweet smutty just cos it suits that particular portrayal of jim and corey particularly well
Would that interrupt the flow of the storyline too much? Or just be a like another brick in the world building? Cos tbh i don't want to jump straight from where i left it to the big proper storyline
Help. Thoughts?
