The most relatable thing in Multiverse of Madness was when America was so frightened by a bee landing on her she opened a portal to an alternate universe

What I love about Kaine in his Scarlet Spider run is he's so expensive. He's not in pain and actively falling apart for the first time in his life and he's in possession of duffel bags of cash he stole off someone else and he's like fuck it. Checks into a luxury hotel supposedly for an overnight stay and books a $2000 a night room. Orders everything off room service by bribing the kitchen to stay open. Takes a three hour shower. Continues staying in a $2000 a night hotel suite for the entire time he's in Houston. Gets spa treatments for himself and the teenager he accidentally adopted. Comics are so bad at fashion but you know he was feeling up everything in Bloomingdales finding the softest fabric and not even checking the price tag. He should have to face MJ again so she can demand to know why he's wearing three thousand dollar jeans and then when he says they were five thousand actually she should spray him in the face with a water bottle like he's a terrible cat.

Rewatched Spider-Man 3 again, and received a vision of what could have been
So here, have some Parksbornson cuddles from the brighter timeline where they got Harry to the hospital for his non-lethal stab wounds instead of, idk, sitting there like idiots while he bleeds out or something stupid like that

I normally keep the MCU off this blog for reasons of It Pisses Me Off, but MCU!Wanda Maximoff is once again doing the rounds, so I'm not-so-kindly reminding you all that turning the Jewish-Romani daughter of a Holocaust survivor, who is often horrifically villainized in the comics, into a Christian white woman who joins up with the superpowered neo-Nazis and becomes the Girlboss Joker For MCU Stans sucks shit and I'll thank you all to keep it off my dash

so boss’ daughter has been in and out of the hospital recently, and one of her post-discharge requests (which---right now, I think he’d open a vein if she asked) was that I give her a cooking/baking lesson.
which, a) is wildly flattering, given that she’s just eaten whatever her dad brings home from the office; and b) has been scheduled for tomorrow, a fact which is making me vibrate at a level that is probably bad for my blood pressure but is definitely making me go over baseboards with a paper towel.

ngl my hatred for the inhumans runs so deep, i ain't even mad about this whole kamala mess. i'll take inhumans erasure & mutant supremacy in any form, no matter how stupid. if this is what it takes to rid the universe of the last of the lingering traces of that cursedass era where they tried & failed to force people to care about the inhumans, then so be it. nature is healing. in an incredibly annoying way, yes, but healing nonetheless
honestly, i hope this becomes a trend. give us ONE good thing from krakoa before finally doing away with it. use it to fix everything the 2010s fucked up. behead toro next

Ok yes I may be a bit tipsy but I'm rewatching season 2 of Daredevil for the Punisher subplot and still just can't get over the relationship between Karen and Frank and how it formed. How Karen's character displays both a strong sense of strength and empathy that she then uses to help others, whether it be Frank or Grotto, and even with that conflict of interest (Frank was 110% making sure Grotto was dead and buried), Frank still gravitated to her because of her desire to help shed the truth behind the horrible tragedy that happened to him and his family. Karen was the only one in the law firm to show that empathy, and you see Frank looking over to her frequently during the interviews and when he was on the stand, because she was his anchor that he could ground himself to. Neither like to sugarcoat themselves, and because of that, the gentleness and kindness each showed each other was genuine, and culminates in their desire to protect each other in whichever way they can, and I'm dying once again I hate that we're never gonna get a Punisher s3 with these two aaaaggghhhh

thinking about the whole robpat!batman movie’s thesis being “shit. fuck. turns out this whole time the legacy of my rage and vengeance-fueled vigilante justice has been enabling domestic terrorism by entitled white men. all along what this city needed and what i needed was healing and extending our hands to our neighbors instead of continuing the cycle of trauma and violence” like the movie put their whole chest into that. it looked at their audience and said to their face “you guys never actually understood what batman is about. you saw the dark brooding aesthetic and the toxic masculinity and the individualistic lonewolfism and you see that as something to aspire to, when the point of batman was always Corruption And Evil Exists Within Those With Power And Money Not In Mental Illness, and by missing that and making it all about yourself you became the villain of this story.” in theaters right in front of batman stans. no wonder robpat was cast for this like i’ve never seen someone pull off self-loathing white man so naturally
