I was gonna make this post way way earlier but I forgot lol but Uhm
I have played through the splatoon 2 story fully and am replaying it (for a future post bc a lot of the dialogue is rlly funny) and honestly while I absolutely loved it it makes me even sadder that splat 2’s story mode was kinda tossed aside (for valid reasons ofc) because it’s so Cool.
Excluding the gameplay, I think they did marie so well, because she sells the desperation of someone who’s got nobody she knows by her side. While she of course keeps the sassy attitude of sneak dissing her best friends (agent 3) and also telekinetically telling you to fuck off if you talk to her too much it’s very clear she genuinely cares so much about agent 4 and is so grateful they’re doing what they do.
these are only two screenshots of 8(?) of Marie randomly being really sentimental to 4 because this stranger chose to help her in her time of need rather than just ignore this GROWN WOMAN hanging out on a sewer drain
It’s like heavily emphasized multiple times that Marie could not be more grateful for 4’s help in retrieving not just the zapfish but also her cousin.
But then revealing that 4 knew about Callie the WHOLE TIME (I have a lot to say about this part but it’s mostly hc so) which is so KIND OF THEM???? this random woman recruits them into a secret military agency and hides the fact she rlly misses her cousin but they help anyway bc they WANT TO. (They didn’t even know either of them were famous btw) Marie shows a lot of gratitude toward 4 ESPECIALLY after the big reveal.
(You could make arguments for 3 being similar bc an old kook made them do it but this isn’t about them..)
And it’s not just being grateful for the one time, she genuinely enjoys 4’s company and wants to be better friends with them and chat after the zapfish and Callie are saved 😭😭😭
It’s so cute too, because 100%ing the game and even just being a little nosy is something that Marie picks up on, and remembers way later in the game. (More abt this later)

Speaking of said soldier! I think the way they characterized 4 via the actual gameplay rather than art/statements/whatever is so cool
4 doesn’t have many illustrations besides the chaos splatfest and that one group photo where they’re being funky in the corner (and the apartment) but I feel like the reason for that is the fact that a lot of Marie’s dialogue as well as how splatoon 2’s hero mode is structured/designed speaks a lot about how they wanted to represent 4.
From a realistic standpoint, of course splatoon 2’s story mode has to be more creative both prompt wise and secret wise. But it feels like the reason its that way is because both 4 and Marie are separate types of people from Craig and 3.
The bosses help a lot with this too, being more gimmicky and weird (subtracting stamp.) Octo shower and samurai being bosses where you have to either react well or change your positioning to effectively beat them. (Octo shower is my fave btw I loved fighting it the first time)
The level design also shines in this aspect because if I’m honest I remember none of the splat 1 levels significantly besides the few octoling ones. Splatoon 2’s levels are very detailed (and also insanely pretty) and have some rlly fun puzzles in a handful of them and even the more fast ones are a blast to play through
And then all the little extras (sardiniums and scrolls alike) are hidden so well and you usually have to go out of your way to find them and even the secrets that aren’t either of those things have substance
Small note, a lot of extras are also made so that it flows well with the levels design (like the first dualie request mission) which is also extremely fucking cool.
the way marie touches on those little discoveries is so smart too because it (as I said before) characterizes 4 as someone who loves to look for things even if it’s on a whim especially since the sunken scrolls in the game are so much harder to find than in splat1.
And the fact that unlike splat 1, you can (technically) 800% the game by playing EVERY SINGLE LEVEL WITH EVER SINGLE WEAPON TYPE. to me it feels like it deepens the fact that 4 likes to be really thorough. marie goes “you have a problem.” When you break like two hidden egg crates in this one level and it’s so great.
I love what they’ve done with 4, whether it was intentional or I’m over-analytical.
Nothing gets past them, looking in every nook and cranny whether or not there’s secrets to be found. They’re too nosy and thorough and they like to be around marie after completing missions, they don’t know who the squid sisters are, hate balloons, may or may not be ok, have impulsive secret finding, partake in many extracurriculars, can be needy at times, go with the flow and they apparently smell better than agent 3.

well, at the beginning, its mostly sukuna dragging you around to places after school... he knows all the obscure food places that nobody is aware of- you know those dingy looking places that serve top tier food? yea.
you wonder if this is his idea of what "dates" are, just sitting and eating together lmao, but your heart still flutters even if a lot of the time there is pretty little conversation other than the usual bickering the two of you do because he does little things like giving you the last dumpling or whatever else it is that he's ordered as a side or pouring you a glass of water before he pours himself one
its like this until you begin taking more initiative and suggest the two of you do other things as a couple, like watching movies and going to cute aesthetic cafes, whatever floats your boat! (he'll most likely have a bored look on his face, but look, he'll find some way of having fun, because he always has you to tease, after all)
he probably enjoys more active date stuff like going to the arcade! throwing basketballs into the hoops, shooting games, table hockey, you name it (good luck winning against him)
will probably make everything into a competition and challenge you... and the loser gets a flick to the forehead, or something like that
(you shut your eyes and brace yourself at the end of each game for the impact, but it doesnt come for a while... when you crack open one eye a little, you see that hes smirking in that endearing way at you, because you look so cute with your eyes closed like that, waiting for him)
definitely goes easy on you, and the gentle flick gets you all flustered and shy
(maybe he gets bored of flicking towards the end and gives you a kiss instead)
cough cough anyway
on your way out of the arcade, if you make puppy eyes at him while gesturing at the claw machine filled with cute plushies, maybe he'll cave in and get one for you
what gets shoved into your arms afterwards is a big ass kirby plush
he doesnt get whats so good about such a dull looking creature, but whatever makes you happy, i guess
at school, nothing much changes except that hes a bit more affectionate with his bullying-- arm around your shoulder, sneaky kisses in the hallways, cuddling behind the school building on some days, but its not like the two of you are joined hip to hip constantly, since he has his friends and you have yours
dont bother taking him on study dates - or, if you wanna see him doze off, you should because thats all he'd do, since sukuna does the bare minimum when it comes to studying and still gets good grades
dont ask him to tutor you, he'd be a really mean teacher
but, well, if theres something that you're really struggling with, i guess he wont be opposed to helping out a little, in exchange for something like a free meal later
(but he ends up paying anyway.. when you tell him about the agreement earlier, he'll go "did i say that? i forgot. whatever, just leave it be." its just his tsundere way of saying "dont worry about it" bc he actually has no intention of making you pay for him)
sukuna does his daily activities of beating up losers and getting regular detentions, but now he also finds pleasure in seeing you waiting for him during after school hours by the entrance to walk home with him
is smug 24/7 and its incredibly hard to fluster him
but maybeee it happens once when you give him a big fat kiss on the lips before running away, which stuns him a little

Another requested one!! Thanks for you kind words <3 i wasnt quite sure if thats what you meant (you said txt x reader so i assume a reaction with usual member specific sections) but if it isn‘t then feel welcomed to send another ask and specify! Im probably overthinking this but i just wanted to visualise my thought process (not that it was anyhow long). Have a nice week!
It is a bit longer than usual bc i wanted to include some sort of backstory! I am still scared of tumblr messing with my post as soon as i add a *read more* thingie, so i hope you can forgive me if i dont add one. If someone knows why it does that or how to fix (even better), please let me know!
Soobin — When you moved in, Soobin was thinking of preparing a welcoming gift - a little housewarming present you know. Especially because you would be right next door and he figured that with roommates like his, and their volume, it would be better to start off on a good note. Of course Beomgyu clowned him for it, but before Soobin could think twice, he‘d ring your doorbell with a bunch of flowers (he hoped seasonal but honestly he had no clue), and a box of muffins. Those he almost dropped when you opened the door however because oh my goddess you were cute- he almost forgot to introduce himself. When he returned to the dorm around a warm chat and a coffee in your half-furnished livingroom later, the redness of his cheeks had yet to fade and he (+ txtease) realised that this crush would probably remain for some time.
Yeonjun — He walked out the door one sunny day and straight into a huge box that was (a bit clumsily) placed in front of the it. You had apologised profusely and invited him for tea or coffee as a compensation for his poor foot. Little did you know that Yeonjuns foot had stopped hurting the second he had fully taken you in (which was fast) and he felt not mad but motivated to help you move in next to their dorm asap = so he could get to know you more also asap. And he did help, he carried boxes and lamps and bags into your new apartment, joking and discussing with you as if you and he had always been friends. You were so easygoing and friendly, Yeonjun felt drawn to you. Who knew that one misplaced box could be the start of such a cute friendship - or even further (but thats a story for another day)
Beomgyu — He heard suspiciously loud thuds from next door and decided to check it out. He heard from someone that they would get a new roommate (Beomgyu hoped for someone fun this time) so he assumed that the moving in would be the source of the concerning noises. He was absolutely correct, because the moment he was ringing your doorbell was the moment you singelhandedly decided to move your massive bed across the room. With more or less (less, significantly less) success however. So when you opened the door you were slightly out of breath, hair sticking up and face shiny — and Beomgyu almost cooed. He swore he had never seen something lovelier than you (and you thought the same, in all honesty, c’mon it’s Beomgyu) and immediately offered his help. Later he wondered if the universe really had to test his physical strength to such an extent but ultimately he wasn‘t complaining. Just like his self-proclaimed “minicrush“ wouldn’t stop growing after that :)
Taehyun — The two of you met in the lobby as strangers, entered the elevator as strangers and got off at the same floor as acquaintances. Or as “half friends” how Taehyun would describe it to his friends, not without feeling his heart warm a bit. When both of you pressed the same button it sparked a conversation and a laugh, and somehow the two you just clicked instantly! Taehyun felt grateful that you were the new neighbour and excited to spend more time with you. A frequent thing he’d do, was coming over to help you set up furniture or decorate. He always said he just liked doing stuff like this, but in reality he came for time spent together afterwards. A bit tired from the work and hungry, but happy and in good company, just glad to have met the other one. (I SHIP IT)
Hueningkai — He had been relaxing at home when the doorbell made his heart jump slightly. Opening the door made his heart jump again - for a different reason this time. You had (after overthinking it twice) decided to visit all your neighbours on the same floor and introduce yourself, bringing a little treat. Nothing big, but homemade, and Hueningkai would never grow tired of praising the taste. Like literally, he wouldn’t. stop. That was partly also because his brain short-circuited the second he invited you into their dorm, simply because you were so pretty and he was so not prepared for it. He also completely forgot you would be moving in so all he could really say with confidence, is that your gift tastes excellent (because it did) and since it seemed to make you smile and relax a bit, Kai decided to tap the full potential of it. Look he’s a shy boy, but shy never stopped a friendship from blooming (the lack of effort does tho, btw) and it surely didn’t stop yours from blossoming, trust me.

For janitor!eddie was there an introduction to Oliver other than “The Best Day With You Today?” Im catching up and I went through the lore but I couldn’t find anything else mentioning him?
I think it was on my old blog I had sorta a background about oliver and I can't find the original post so I'll summarize:
I want to preface this with a tw that it does contain child abus3 and neglect and some bullying (kids are assholes). I'm not going graphic and never will because it makes me very uncomfortable, but there will be some things alluded to it:
so oliver is in teacher!reader's class and he's wicked smart, but she notices he's kinda a loner. loves to read but it usually by himself and some of the kids make fun of him bc he wears the same clothes a lot.
one day he comes in and is soaked from head to toe and it's not raining. she asks him why his clothes and hair is wet, and he cries and tells her he tried to wash them in the sink before school so the other kids wouldn't make fun of him for his dirty clothes. she takes him to the resource room for a few extra pairs. this is kinda the first sign.
eddie notices that at lunch oliver "takes his friends trays up when they're done" which seems like a good gesture, but he's putting their leftovers in a bag for later. to take home so he has something to eat for dinner or on the weekends.
eddie asks you about it and you both realize this is a big issue. no surprise when you call oliver's mother, she's clearly fucked up (when you get in contact with her) and you start offering tutoring bc he's so advanced. which is true, but really, it's so you can make sure he eats and is taken care of.
oliver stays with the two of you a lot, and every night when eddie drops him back off, there's a part of him that wants to just take him and tell his parents to fuck off bc they're clearly not taking care of him (when his mom is even home).
this goes on for a while, you give him clothes, books, toys. eddie teaches him how to make easy meals at home (for when his mom is gone for days on end) and really he becomes apart of the two of you pretty early on.
until one day he's absent. you assume his mother forgot to bring him, and when you go to check on him, there's no one home. a day turns into two into four into a week, and you finally get word that oliver is in cps custody. his mother od'd driving again, hit a embankment and is in jail and oliver is zoned for another school.
they've got him in a home bc there's no space in hawkins. somehow, steve harrington pulled some strings, got the two of you in a background check and in classes within a week (how? you still don't fucking know but it's king steve lol) and you become foster parents for oliver.
really, from that moment, you and eddie knew you wanted to foster to adopt. you hadn't been married long, not really talked about kids especially this soon, but it was a no brainer to you two.
oliver's mother gave up her rights heartbreakingly easy, but that meant he was yours and in a few months later he was. around the time you'd realized you were pregnant, which seemed a little scary at first, but also perfect. then you had your little family: you, eddie, oliver, and olivia <3

oh god right. thank you i forgot about this. come one, come all, to hear the ballad of caleb maupin.
quick summary: caleb maupin is a disgraced former(?) cult leader and former journalist for Russia Times who touted himself as a huge figure in the american communist sphere. for a few years he led a group of young (i cannot stress enough; these were 19-24 y/os, all younger than himself) tankie-ass communists where they repeated extremely wack talking points that often were complete undisguised antisemitism, transphobia, and outright sexually conservative bullshit all under the name of "materialism" or whatever the fuck. he also published several books containing these ideas, priced at ridiculous numbers (one of them hewed close to $1k) so that no one outside his circle could actually read them and call him out on his takes; more on this later.
in november 2022 his victims within this cult masquerading as a communist center published a medium post calling him out for abuse of various natures, including emotional, financial, and sexual. these accusations are made extremely credible by the inclusion of actual screenshots of phone conversations with maupin, which got the post taken down from medium as this goes against their policies. a link to the archived version will be below.
anyway, onto the videos:
Fake Materialism for Real Transphobes by Thought Slime - this is how i learned about CM for the first time. TS goes after CM for platforming a known terf and gormlessly nodding along as she spouts the usual transphobic nonsense. this will kick off a feud between the two that is largely one-sided on CM's part, who develops the biggest hate-boner for what he calls "the CIA-funded breadtube left".
Abandoning counter-revolutionary SLIME and adopting Maupin-thought! by Thought Slime - TS's response video to an absolutely shitheaded response from CM to the first video above.

Caleb Maupin has DESTROYED us, we must now resign. Featuring The Serfs by Thought Slime - TS and The Serfs respond once again to this now very funny feud that seems to have sprouted, debunking CM's points.
The War Crime Liker Convention- Cringe Corner ft. Sophie from Mars by Thought Slime - TS and her friend Sophie from Mars watch the event archive from CM's political club conference. one of my favorite videos from this entire affair bc it shows just how uncharismatic and yet influential CM has managed to become among this group of similar-minded, and i hate to say this, fools.
Reading Caleb Maupin's "Satan At The Fountainhead" with Thoughtslime, We're In Hell & That Jess by Sophie from Mars - a group of friends read the CM book that i mentioned above, which was priced at $900 so that no one else would buy and read it. why would he do this? well, if watching the entire 3-hour video is daunting for you (though i recommend it highly; the three friends reading it are hilarious), PLEASE jump to 2:04:02 and just watch that part. in the words of sophie: "he FUCKING said it!!!!!! he fucking said..... IT!!!!!"
Conspiracy on the Left by Sophie from Mars - not directly related to CM for its entirety, but this is a very good video essay about how the left is just as prone to conspiracy-laced thinking and manipulation as right-wingers or QAnoners. she also mentions CM towards the end as a case study.

Caleb Maupin exposed for abuses and cult manipulation tactics by Sophie from Mars - this is the stream where sophie reads through and reacts to the medium article above.
Pinko & Mildred watch Caleb Maupin addressing the allegations by Sophie from Mars - after scrubbing his entire twitter and social media presences, CM makes a comeback video. it is, in two words, fucking incredible. TS and sophie (here seen in her clown persona, "pinko", which she adopts to bring levity to patently absurd situations like this one) watch through and react to it; it's one of the funniest videos ive ever seen on this topic tbh.

Hehe here's some ramblings ab my weird Groundhog Day Price au thing :) this is kinda me laying out a timeline of everything and whatever else comes to mind
Heads up: I don't think I'll ever turn this into one long cohesive fic, it'll probably just be little ficlets and then long ramble-y bits like this
Read my first post regarding this au or else you'll be lost bc I explain a lot of things from my intro that I don't exactly plan to put into in depth writing.
Intro
Cw: I love Price so much so I put him through hell <3, temporary character death, depictioms of death n violence and bodily harm, non canon timeline bc oops and fuck canon (just a bit), this is not written like a fic like the first part, so it's just me rambling, also formatting is terrible ik I'm so sorry I just needed to get this out of my system, Ghoap content

So uh timeline is funky bc I forgor ab canon and consistency and also despite the fact I've played both 2019 and mw2 multiple times I'm still dumb. N e way:
I assume that the boys aren't familiar with each other at the beginning of mw2 but price knows all of them bc he hand picked them. I assume that they haven't worked w each other b4 those events but we're throwing that out the window here bc I forgot :)
So they had one very brief mission together before the events of mw2, the one described in my little intro blurb, nothing too serious or long, not enough time for team bonding, simply something I made up for expository ab the whole Groundhog Day thing.
Also ok explaining background Ghoap w my fucky timeline bc I totally forgor I wrote some implied Ghoap:
I dug my own grave by saying I wanted to set my blurb b4 mw2 and make that mission quick and they don't even get any time to like bond properly, but we can make this work ok? Ok. I don’t see Ghost as a self sacrificing person despite the fact that he's military and it kinda comes w the job and his status as definitely dead and shit and just his kinda general disposition. I can see it if he's v close w someone but otherwise it usually isn't "practical" bc of how useful he knows he is. In this scenario though ima say that Ghost had been heavily injured in the heli wreck and knew that he wasn’t gonna get too far. Once the heli crashed, he had been the closest to Gaz and had tried to pull him out, for the sole purpose of during the time before he could tell how fond Prive was of him, and because Ghost cares deeply for Price he made an effort to rescue Gaz, that doesn't work obviously and he ends up terribly injured. Later on, once they start taking heavy fire and closer to his death Ghost realizes that he's not going to make it too far and decides that when there needs to be a sacrifice, bc he knows there will, he'll go down.
Cut to Ghost sees that Soap's ab to get fucked up and takes the shot 4 him. Soap's reaction, unlike Ghost's reasoning, is based in vague Ghoap. Soap comes to the conclusion, b4 they even get out of the heli, that the Lieutenant does not like him. Fine, he's clashed w/ COs b4, nothing new. He was hoping that since they were gonna be on this same tiny team that maybe the could be friendly but he supposed not. So imagine his shock when the man who seemed to despise him sacrifices himself for Soap. He's touched, truly, especially bc that Soap will never know that Ghost's real reasoning. That Soap believes in that moment that maybe that Ghost didn't hate him and maybe kinda really liked him but didn't show it. He beliebes that if THE Ghost sacraficed himself for Soap, that he must feel that Soap was a valuable member of the team, maybe moreso than him. That Soap is also in the middle of watching his entire team get wiped out and realizing that it's now him and Price against what feels like an entire army so his extreme emotional reaction to Ghost's death is also in part from that.

Explanation of how this Groundhog Day shit works btw:
The first time it happens is in my little intro blurb thing. Price will go through an event where any one or more of the 141 dies, and then he will be sort of sent back in time to varying amounts of time before the events happen so that he can prevent their deaths. Price can't control it obviously. How Price discerns that these aren't weird premonitions and actually events that he lived through is that he always gets sent back with some scars from whatever shit show happened. Like for example in my blurb he would come back with his palms all scarred up from the broken glass he grabbed from the window soap got tackled out of at the end. It's a weird mechanic ik but shhhhh it's for angst purposes. It's there as a sort of reminder for Price for all the times he's "failed" his boys bc I FUCKING LOVE ANGST n e way,
Then the events of mw2 happen ofc. There are different points throughout in which I will kill the boys so here's that death list:
Gaz- something to do with the helicopter bit, obviously, like he gets no breaks, idc if you get tired of how many heli deaths I give this man, I like it. I think everyone gets one death during mw2 events
Side note: one thing I feel like I'm having a hard time balancing is making this compelling by "killing" off the boys and traumatizing Price, and also not making the boys look more incompetent if that makes sense? Like I had three deaths drafted up for Gaz but felt it was too much?
Kate: 110% dies at one point during the whole hostage thing. Gives an extra oof to John's whole apology bit to her afterwards (ome of my fav interactions in the game tbh)
Ghost: this fucker is proving the hardest to brainstorm for tbh. Like if anyone, for any of these parts at all, wants to put in any ideas feel free to, but I just feel like the others have NDEs that I can use as deaths, but honestly I feel like Ghost is I don't want to say better than the others but there's not really a point in mw2 in which I feel like I could take inspo for a death? So ig tldr: TBD but maybe none at all and when the timeline expands to after current canon I give him smtg big to give my boy some attention?
Soap: alone, obviously. This one is more complex then the others. They're all gonna be situations in which John can do something, whether directly or indirectly to change the outcome. I think for alone John cycles through that loop for a bit, not being able to make contact with anyone in Las almas and he gets lucky that after a few cycles we get canon alone events. This will def be it's own little chapter fic drabble thing bc I have so much to say ab this and how it affects Price
Bonus soap thought: I also wanted to do Graves tank fight purely bc that's the part I had the most trouble with in my first playthrough of the game. I had to repeat that section an ungodly amt of time and shaped me into the avid Graves hater I am today. I'm digressing but n e way I decided against the tank bit bc alone was just so much more yummier in my head.

i saw that you animate using krita? i use krita too but im not really familiar with how to. animate. at all. i was just wondering how you do it (like basic steps or smth!!) you dont have to reply to this ask at all if its annoying tho!!

still i dont guarantee any type of quality bc 1. Im bad at explaining things in general 2. im no english grammar expert haha 3. tbh the only parts of krita i understand are the basic animations, i dont even know how to configure the cube haha and 4. it's 1AM, it's the second time i write all of this bc i did ctrl+z in accident and 90% of the mf post dissapeared and im goddam furious hahahaha.
now, with no more further ado, lets begin with my class!
First of all, i recommend you to save your workspace and put the Animation one that come by default, right here:
Looks a little messy, right? Worry not! Just configure everything in the Dockers until you're satisfied: (yes i dont have windows activated, fightme microsoft)
Now, i always use the default Animation Template (Animation-Japanese-En), but they usually come with lots of layers/groups that we don't really need, so i always delete them until the Layout Paper is the only group. Then i create a group for the Characters and another layer for the backgrounds (we'll get there later!)
And before actually getting in the timeline and shi, letme explain two points, they're important i swear!
Onion Skins menu: (at the right bottom of the screen)
Here you can configure all that has to do with seeing the past/next frame in the timeline for when you're drawing. The bars show how many past/future frames you want to see and their opacity, you can also change their colors. Once you're done with the config, you can just close it, to open it again just use the weird striped drop shaped button or choose it from the Dockers.
And the Animation Settings menu: at the right of the Onion Skins button.
Here you can see the starting frame from your project and the last one, but we're focusing in the Frame Rate. It comes with 24 FPS by default, but for simple animatics like mines 8 FPS are more than enough.
Now, going with the actual animation things.
To start drawing you don't actually need to make a first frame, but i think is more practical make that type of start an habit to yk, dodge bad moments haha
This move also works for imported images, since they come as layers and we need to make them actual frames by creating another frame at their right.
Talking about imported images, all my backgrounds are done in Sai2 since i feel more comfortable drawing there haha.
When we import more than one image, they become separated layers, and to combine them all in one we must make them frames and move all to one timeline (?)
+ if you dont pin the layer in the timeline they dissapear from it, but you can just select it again from the layer menu and they will appear again (you gotta pin it so they dont go).
now some personal preferences,,, i don't actually organize my timeline in any specific way, the only thing i want is having all the important layers at the display, so i re-use layers for different things (like the arashi/izumi layer is also used for tsukasa's hair that i forgot to draw in the first scene haha)
Still, to simplify and organize things a little more you can always color the timeline as you want, selecting a single frame or many as you want!
My last tip is that Copy a Keyframe is nOT the same as Clone one. Copy will make them a complete separate frame, while Cloning one will make them into another frame, but whatever you do will affect the original frame. I learned that by force :)
That's all i honestly know about animating in Krita, in terms of theory i have no idea what im doing 120% of the time, so forgive me if its messy or hard to understand hahaha.

1- I forgot where but I saw somewhere that Law’s VA just doesn’t ever “voice act” when singing so I assumed they were right 😭 so maybe you’re right abt the just getting really into it lol. Either way he’s got a good voice tho!!
2- I do know persona! I’ve just never played it or watched anybody play it. But I’ll look into smt whenever I finish up this Zelda phase (which who knows how long that’s gonna take lol) which brings me to…
Age of Calamity is the “prequel” to breath of the wild kind of ?? If you know the older Hyrule Warriors games from the Wii U it’s that game setting just better imo. I did like the other HW’s when they came out but they never interested me as much as the “real” Zelda games. But AOC is set 100 years before botw when the champions are still alive. It’s got a bunch of cute cut scenes that show the champions/Zelda/Link all interacting together and it makes me so happy lol. Anyway: I still haven’t finished it, I’m putting it off lol. I have 1 main mission left and 1 mission from the DLC left. I’ve been playing a bunch of side missions on apocalyptic mode as Sooga for the past like… 3 weeks now ? And speaking of him… yeah he’s just like a super fancy Yiga blademaster from botw. But he’s got the hottest voice I’ve ever heard (rivals with Law’s voice… I go back and forth between who’s I find more attractive lol). But I just. Am so in love with him 💀 even tho idk what his face looks like, but I don’t even care that much bc he’s so hot as is. (Also the height thing- my stupid theory is that he’s not actually as tall as they show him to be in the game bc of the fact he’s just a random Hylian who was “adopted” by the Yiga as a kid, PLUS there’s that guy in Kakariko Village who used to be a blademaster and he’s not 1000 feet tall lol. I think they just make him look giant to make him scarier lol. Also Link is super short so… using him to compare doesn’t help lmao)
3- I hope you enjoy the fics!!! I have so many more ideas for cute Law stuff but I can never find the time to write anymore lol
4- I’m in the US eastern time zone!! I always end up posting super late into the night/early in the morning bc my brain is just…. More active during those times?? Idk why, I’ve always been that way tho lol. And I don’t really have a preference to how the asks are sent! Whatever you want works :)

But i decided to twst the toucan family from Rio! (Obviously I cant do all 21 kids so I decided to leave it at 6 lol)

Their parents are Ana María (their mom) and Francisco (their dad)
•As pointed out in blue in the 2nd image, Francisco's nose is purposefully drawn in a way thats different from my usual noses but my attempt of darkening his skin eats up my blue marker😭/NM
•Both parents have brown eyes but Francisco's is darker than his wife's
•Their dad is a dance professor and their mom is a social ettiquite professor (in RSA)
•In fact, all of their kids are pretty good with dance with all the kids having different levels of skill according to their age
•Ana María is a pretty strict mom but she's never raised a hand at her kids, neither of them have
•Where Francisco casually lets his kids pull at his hair and hang from his clothes without a care in the world, basically letting them treat him like a playground, they know their mom doesnt tolerate any of the sort
•Francisco is 42 and Ana María is 39
•They first met during a carnival/festival just like the canon characters bcs I think its cute<3
•These gremlins are Carla (pink eyes) and Belmira (brown eyes)
•They're both around 4yrs old
•They're also both gremlins that like to violently shake anyone they can and use teamwork to torment their victims
•They also have the bad habit of playing a bit too roughly
•The pink eyes are from their mom's side of the family and is a recessive gene
•Out of all the kids, they're the quiet ones
•They're never really too far away from each other or their parents and typically have matching outfits (or with minor differences)
•The blue haired tall guy is Tulio and the blue haired daughter is Silva (ft. Belmira and Francisco but I already talked abt them lol)
•Silva can be a bit shy and studdery but the moment her siblings jump someone, she's jumping in
•Its like one sibling's violence makes them all want to join in
•Tulio gives the illusion he's someone responsible, but make no mistake, because he's the guy that sneaks out late at night /HJ
•Tulio and Amos have beef with each other
•Tulio is 17 and Silva is 13
•All of the siblings are very protective of their family and you do NOT want all 6 of them attacking you
•Silva sometimes anxiously pulls at her own hair if she's too stressed out, all of the siblings try to prevent it from happening
•Mariano's the orange haired taller one and Benicio is the smaller one with yellow roots (ft. Carla and Ana María but again I already talked abt them lol)
•Out of the 2 older ones, Tulio's still more responsible than Mariano, in fact, Mariano's often the one dragging Tulio out of the house late at night in the first place
•Mariano's very much a "do first, think later" type of person
•Benicio has the bad habit of randomly pulling other people's hair, regardless of wether its his own siblings, his dad or a complete stranger
•His parents have no idea why Benicio has the inexplicable urge to pull people's hair, Francisco's just gotten used to it
•Mariano is 16 and Benicio's 11
•Out of all of them, its often Benicio getting in trouble for playing *too* rough
•Mariano can be prone to throwing things if he's angry enough
•That rabbit plushie Benicio's holding was actually stolen from another kid

Alright so get this. According to the New Testament, God uses angels as messengers mostly, sometimes as protectors. (John the Baptist's birth, Jesus' birth announcement to both Mary and Joseph, the angel who told them to go to Egypt, the angel that announced Jesus' tomb was empty, the angels who tended Jesus after His 40 days and nights in the desert. I don't have my Bible on me or I'd cite my sources more specifically but I can go back and do it later if anyone's curious)
However, as far as I can recall, we don't really get a description of angels, in the New Testament at least. (Which will be my main point of reference cause I'm coming at this from a Christian pov) So essentially, we know what they do and and we know that they intercede in the going's on of humanity, sometimes pretty obviously, but we don't have anything to say "this for sure is an angel bc taxonomically they meet xyz criteria"
Lots of people in the early church days argued about the nature of angels and while I am reluctant to agree with a Catholic about literally anything, saint Augustine proposed that "angel" is a job title as opposed to their nature, their true nature being "spirit". I didn't actually know that until after I formed the basis of this theory but I thought that was a cool tidbit because!!!! My theory is that angels can manifest in a couple different ways.
1. There's your guardian angel type way. Everyone's got one, whether they call it their conscience or their gut feelings or whatever. This is the angel that lives in your heart and stops you from texting your ex at 3 am or stepping out into the road without looking both ways first. The guardian angel is a messenger type angel that nudges you one way or the other, you don't necessarily have to listen to but you probably should
2. Physical or "physical" manifestation. So, angels that appear as a pillar of light or talk to you in your dreams or what have you. You know these are angels and they tell you to be not afraid bc if they don't you might lose your shit at seeing a spirit in meatspace. These angels are usually messengers but not always. The angel stationed in the Garden was one of these too.
3. Here's what my two angel encounters were. This type of angel "possesses" a human being, for lack of a better word, and does a bigger intervention than the type one can but smaller than type two usually does. My first angels saved me during a suicide attempt and my second angel saved me from some big boy financial ruin and fixed a long term issue my family had been having at the same time. I believe that the angel chooses the person based on who you are most likely to trust + who's around + what that person can physically provide you with after they are themselves again if need be (like in the case of my second angel)

and i have also been having thoughts introducing once again idol x producer au where ayato is the top idol, leader of his group (called yashiro),,, as popular as eden and as refined as akatsuki... their music is inspired by traditional japanese culture..........................
heir to the yashiro group corporation he's rich.... he funds the group too... even though they make a lot of money... and he teases you into thinking that you forgot to book the venue,,, but he already did :( and when there's an argument within the group... he is always the one to solve it and he makes you get credit for it somehow
and he's so incredibly good at pr (public relations) and he manages the social media accs of the group instead and there's a lot more of you than there really should be but he doesn't care

already-rich-idol!ayato…. so true lili so true… ngl this gives me “pining with over-the-top acts of service” vibes on his end, with you being done and on the receiving end of his antics while the rest of the group just ignore it bc they’re so used to it 😭
some fans would obv be, uh, unhappy so to say abt the special treatment he gives you (though they’re swiftly dealt with in other means—) but 99% of the fanbase love you and support his actions whenever they catch a glimpse of it !! and that’s usually through fanmeets where they witness him relentlessly tease you, or on their social media where he has very questionable captions under the multitude pictures posted of you <//3
WAIT A VLIVES TOO !!! imagine he’s doing a solo vlive while on tour and notices you walking behind the camera and then instantly like,,, makes himself look presentable before going up and talking to you with the camera in hand (his fans get a front row seat of him fussing over how he looks before going up to you… probably added to their compilation moments of him being whipped for you, his good ol’ manager)

on may 3 marigold beeped for a tantrum, but i ignored her since i only planned on disciplining her 4 times. a while later she beeped again and i figured she was sick, which sometimes happens when you ignore a call for discipline. at first glance i wondered why the sickness icon was so high, but then i looked closer and realized that Definitely Isn’t the sickness icon.
on the color screen tamas you can save them from the shinigami, but on the tamagotchi plus tamas you can only save them if a tama has died before by calling on their spirit (and you can only use their spirit once). it didn't tell me if her hearts were empty but I know they weren't bc otherwise she'd have beeped, and even if I was in the other room I would've heard it. If I can hear a tama poop from another room I would've heard the attention beep. but anyway, the inevitable happened and this time I DID catch it on video (link here). the part where it flashes from happy marigold to her grave made me so sad, even typing abt it now still makes me sad.

my only guess, since I would've heard if she was sick or had empty hearts and I'm fairly certain that wasn't it, was maybe smth to do w me disciplining her as a baby/toddler then stopping once she evolved into ringotchi? but it makes me sad since I get more attached to my plus (or connection) tamas and took more pics of her than I did of my p2 that passed. like those pics of her for the holiday a few days ago, I even took her out with me that day too. I think it's ironic the situation with her was similar to my p2: accidentally took too good of care of them, tried to take worse care the 2nd time around, accidentally killed them.
there's a chance I could've ignored her since I'm running so many Tamas and can't recall who I'm attending to or intentionally ignoring, but she wouldn't have gotten sick after throwing a tantrum bc that only happens after she pouts. and I usually check them when they beep, I wouldn't say I was more distracted than usual. and again I don't think I ignored her enough for all the hearts to be empty, and I only let the screen have 2 poops at max on it before I clean it. so I'm like, Fairly sure that her hearts weren't empty and she wasn't sick, since if I looked over to see the shinigami, I would've looked over to check if she was sick. again, there's no way to be sure, but it still took me off guard.
honestly I was running out of new things to do on the keitai and it was starting to become less fun so... guess I've photographed abt everything else you can do on here aside from this lmao. also just realized my entama has 6 of my keitais still in the friends list--I think everyone I raised on there since I got the entama, except marigold, which I regret now since ringotchi would've showed up on there and I had just been thinking abt it the night before. Harry had connected to the keitai once when I had sage, but I forgot ringotchi was on the entama since she's one of the bad care tamas.
one thing that bums me out is that i lost the generation streak, since marigold’s lineage ended with her. that means the past generations page is empty now, and the screen says i’m on the first generation again. other than that, everything else i had on the keitai is still there.
it bums me out since i was proud of raising 11 consecutive generations, since that rarely happens w me since i usually got overly attached to them and would stop running them after 1 or 2 generations. i mean i’ll always remember how many generations i’ve raised on the keitai, but it’s different actually seeing it on the tama.
since i already lost 1 generation streak i contemplated raising a tama into an oldie since i’ve never done that before, but i didn’t wanna kill 2 tamas in a row. who knows, maybe i could get another keitai sometime, raise them both into oldies, and then get oyajitchi. but that’s for another time!
