My TWP Predictions

I've seen that people started with predictions to what they think or want to happen in The Wicked Powers. So, here are my predictions:

The main character is either Dru or Kit. Dru because she is the most important living female character of the main squad and Kit, because most parts of the series are probably his story. Also he was second after Emma in TDA.

Kit, Dru and Ty have most of the book in their POV, additionally there will be some chapters from Ash and a few in Livvy's POV. The rest of the characters don't get their own POVs .

Kit and Ty will obviously make up (and out) and end up dating and staying together forever.

Mina or one of the Lightwood-Bane kids will be kidnapped and threatened to be killed, but won't die

Thule-Livvy comes to Our World and meets Cameron here. They get a second chance for their relationship, even though their respective versions of the other world are dead. I also think that Cameron would follow Thule-Livvy back to Thule to save it from demons.

Janus will either die, end up with the Seelie Queen, or go back to Thule to undo his and Sebastians mistakes and save the world on Clary's wish.

Thule Kit will either die, go evil and/or become King of Faerie. But somehow I think he dies because he gets attacked by faeries.

Thule Rosemary never gets attacked deadly, finds her son again, tries and fails to protect him at a dangerous attack by faeries and accidently goes to Our World and protects/saves Kit here.

The TWP-squad mainly consists of Dru, Jaime, Ghost-Livvy and/or Thule-Livvy, Kit and Ty. Ash joins them later and Anush also gets to be pretty important, but has no part written in his point of view.

Dru, Jaime and Ash will go to Thule for some reason. Kit, Ty, Livvy and Anush stay in Our World and go to Faerie.

We get to see Auraline. Either in a flashback or because she's actually alive, but nobody knew. In that case she will also protect Kit and maybe end up as Queen of Faerie.

Kieran might give up his throne to the brother who's dating (?) the Seelie Queen in tge end of TDA.

Kit has wings and can make other people fly with his powers. I want to see him and Ty dance across the night sky.

Love triangle between Dru, Jaime and Ash, but they actually communicate and Dru ends up with Ash.

In the end Ash lives with either Dru at Blackthorn Hall or either the Herondale-Carstairs family.

Dru and Ty move to Blackthorn Hall, like Jules planned them to, also to be closer to Kit (and Ash).

Kit and Ash become parabatai. Maybe to secure eachother's survival. They are scared the other will kill them, but parabatai's can't kill eachother. So problem solved.

If a Lightwood dies, it's hopefully Maryse.

Kit fake-dies. Ty also fake-dies at the showdown battle and Kit heals him with his power.

All characters comeback at the showdown. Also Herongraystairs reunion and sibling-bonding of their children.

Irene unexpectedly loves Kit

Ghost-Livvy playing with animals (Irene)

Dru naming Ash's chinchilla

Ash saving Dru from falling

gray character Ash, but he chooses the good side in the end

These are the things I definitely do not want to happen, but might be a bit likely to go down this way:

Jace dying. Because he's a Lightwood, too and has someone who wants to and can step up in his place if he dies: Janus. He's also in more or less immediate danger, because Janus wants to kill him. Also Clary thought that she would die in TDA, so maybe Jace steps up to die instead of her (like Jason did for Piper in TOA, Rick is a friend of Cassie's, too, btw). But I hope it's not him who dies.

Ideas I had, that are probably way too wild for it to actually happen:

KitTy wedding in faerie as a way of staying together forever, because others want to separate them.

Rosechild / Rosestar moments: I mean Ash flirting with Jaime and Jaime totally questioning his sexuality. Maybe even some more romantic moments

Ash taking the Fairchild name instead in honour of his aunt and grandma.

Kit taking the Blackthorn name because he feels more connected to them than to the Herondales. Jace almost disowning him afterwards.

Kit bonding and cuddling with a duck. Jace definitely disowning him now.

Ash being the one who warns Clary and Jace about Janus

I probably have even more ideas, which I will add when I remember them.

Predicted couple's surnames at the end (aka what I think fits the best):

Clary and Jace Herondale (-Lightwood): children will be Herondales

Clarissa Herondale and Jonathan Christopher Lightwood Herondale

Alec and Magnus Lightwood-Bane

(I don’t hate (most of) these characters they are just possibilities to be prepared)

Fairchild: Jocelyn (she’s a grandma)

Lightwood: Maryse (the Lightwood curse—only possible lightwood)

Rosales: Diego (look I love him,, but their is the Inquisitor curse and if he is inquisitor…)

Herondale: Janus (ONLY JANUS—tho maybe Thule!Kit also if he exists idk 😭)

Mendoza: Beatriz (she’s simon’s friend — rip george and jordan,, also she lives in New York so she’s closer to him now)

Dearborn: ZARA (SEEYA YOU WON’T BE MISSED—and Julian Blackthorn doesn’t do mercy a second time)

Villalobos: Manuel (also won’t be missed)

The Seelie Queen (this one feels inevitable tbh with Ash and Kit and all)

Nene (she’s not very relevant, but it would still be sad for Mark and Helen— I could see her dying to protect Kit or Ash as well possibly)

Thule!Raphael (I’m sorry, I can just see him being like eww no I would never die for Magnus and then dying for Magnus or Lily a second time 😭)

Catarina Loss (I could also see her dying to protect Kit, bc of his connection to Roland Herondale)

Ashdown: Cameron (if he died for Thule!Livvy for some reason I would actually perish)

Ghost!Livvy: (I don’t think we will lose another Blackthorn—we can’t,, but I don’t think Ghost!Livvy is gonna stick around)

Adaon (idk I feel like he might be assigned to protect Ash or smth and die in a fight or smth)

Thule!Simon (if he’s alive and some super powerful Vampire or smth)

Pedroso: Marina (Thais’ mom,, ngl feels like everyone who still has a mom in TWP won’t by the end of it 😭—but I will stay hopeful for Thais’ mom at least)

Stuff that I noticed while re-reading City of Bones

The blue-haired demon at Pandemonium was from Thule. He described the land which he came from as hard to eke out life there, where the sun was a burnt cinder that hung limply in the sky. This sounds a LOT like Thule.

DJ Bat was probably the werewolf Bat Velaquez (apologies if the spelling is wrong). In City of Ashes, or one of the sequel books, Maia mentioned that Bat would sometimes work as a DJ.

The person who was coming out of Madam Dorothea's door description was a quite similar to Magnus Bane's description, if you think about it.

The first time Clary heard about the Clave she'd already decided they didn't sound like nice people.

5. Was Hodge really speaking figuratively when he said that Valentine had a son? (yes i know ive read tsc)

6. When Jace said "This place is for the living," it directly foreshadowed the fact that Simon would turn into a vampire, one of the undead.

7. Maryse Lightwood is taller than Robert Lightwood. Half a head taller.

8. Alicante holds dances. Every week.

9. Jace's motto was the same as Will's supposed curse.

10. Alec got extremely exited when he saw the vampire motorbikes.

11. Magnus probably gets drunk really often.

12. Did Raphael actually have a brother?

13. Lily Chen has blue hair.

14. Alec and Isabelle have pollen allergies.

TWP Death predictions

(Because idk what to do with life till 2024/2025 or even later)

TMI CHARACTERS

Clary Fairchild - I hope that she'll survive, but idk... Killing off the person that everything started is some nostalgic or whatever thing, Cassie would do...

Jace Herondale - I think it's between him and Clary... Or maybe if one of them decide to sacrifice himself, the other would want to die with him

Magnus Bane - well, with Magnus I'm torn between: Cassie doesn't kill of LGBTQ and she wanted Malec to have happy ending and Magnus is in every book so it would make sense to TSC end with his death, also if he'll die, it would be I think something like "Tony Stark" kind of death

Alec Lightwood - I'm literally worried about all of TMI group, but for Alec not as much as for rest of them (watch my breakdown, when something happens to him)

Isabelle Lightwood - I'm so damn worried about Isabelle. Idk why, but I feel she's either gonna end up pregnant with beautifuk kid or something will happen to her

Simon Lovelace - this boy been trought so much bad stuffs, that I don't think he'll die... Or I hope at least. Idk what to expect from Cassie, but something bad is about to happen, I can feel it and this is her last series, so she can do whatever the hell she want without some fear of losing readers

But I think that characters like Bat, Maya, Lily Chen... Maryse maybe (but after Robert, I don't think so) are in danger too... And characters like Tien or Leon Verlac or Simon's classmates from academy are characters that are - I must say it like this - made for: "killed of for plot"... I have strong feeling that this series will be bloody.

TID CHARACTERS

Jem Carstairs and Tessa Gray - I don't think they'll die, they have little girl together, and Kit already lost his biological parents, I hope Cassie is not that cruel... Also Jem just started to live for real... But if they die, I'm kind of sure, they'll die together and they'll reunite with Will...

Bridget - I don't even understand why she lives that long (ChoT come faster🙏)

TDA CHARACTERS

Julian Blackthorn - he literally can't, my dead soul wouldn't survive it, but he would definitely sacrifice himself for his family, (he couldn't save Livvy, so he'll want to save rest of them)

Emma Carstairs - might die by Jules's side, but I won't accept it because they need to have cute kids

Helen Blackthorn and Aline Penhallow - they're adopting so hopefully they're safe and Cassie doesn't like to kill of LGBTQ characters

Mark Blackthorn - he's been already trought a lot, but here I go again with whole - sacrificing themselves for siblings trope

Cristina Rosales - I don't really know why, but I'm scared for Cristina, her death is something that would really affect fans

Kieran - I'm scared for my boy, because I feel like the courts are gonna unite and Ash or Kit might rule...

Tavvy Blackthorn - no, no and just no. Yeah, and did I mention no?

Diana Wrayburn - I don't think Cassie would kill of such a representation of LGBTQ

Gwyn Ap Nudd - might die (I hope not, but he wasn't that important for main plot)

Cohort - hopefully all of them die, but I see some kind of redemption and fighting together in some huge battle, Zara and Manuel might rot in he with Lucifer

Cameron Ashdown - he died in Thule already, so it would be kind of cruel, but not impossible

Diego Rosales - we know the bad fates of Inquisitors, but he might be exception

TWP CHARACTERS

I think Ty, Kit and Dru are safe. Ty has to let Livvy go and I think that will happen. I don't think Cassie would kill of Ash, he's really interesting character and he deserved chance. Jaime might die. I think one of close people of main group will die - so either (for now) Anush, Thais or Kit's gf. Yeah, and well Janus is more likely to die, or even some faerie royalty. From main group I'm most scared for Kit.

TLH CHARACTERS

already gone...

I wouldn' t be surprised if all of them would die and that is end of TSC.

These are just might current thoughts... Things my change with some snippets or whatever we will get in next years🤍

Let's think about this, and then let's think about Thule!Clary and Janus. I've been thinking a lot about what could be Janus ending (Would Jace kill his own evil self? Clary could do it?? Maybe Thule!Simon could gave smth to do with it??? What about Maryse??). But then i remebered this quote.

We know ghost might be relevant at TWP (well, *i* believe it let me ramble about this). So, what if that opens the door to Thule!Clary and Janus meeting again. What if that gives Janus the chance of a closer. What if Thule!Clary makes him stop this Hunting-Other's-Dimention-Clary thing.

In CoLS Clary knows that Jace is not Jace under Sebastian's influence, so what if Thule!Clary knows that this guy its not the same man that she loved once, and like "takes care of it", if you know what i mean. And like, idk. Then they have some kind of rehab or second chance on the afterlife. Or Janus finally understands that he cant have Clary back (this could go really well or reallt bad). Or something like that.

Also literally why am I always like asleep or off-line when you’re doing fun stuff on Tumblr? This is feeling like a personal attack DANI!!!

Oh. I'm not going to write this (because it's long) but I can actually tell you about this because this was the plot line in the first draft.

So when Magnus portals everyone to Edom, he leaves Hunter and Mallory behind. (Because they thought the mundanes might die in Edom or they hoped Hunter/Mallory will get killed by the shadow demons)

They make this whole strategy in Edom to kill Hunter. Lexi basically makes the plan based on her "know your enemy" thing and says that Hunter's weakness is his family. So, they come up with a plan.

Tessa and Mina shapeshift into Marcus and Claire. Hunter gets distracted. The gang kind of get the upperhand but Mallory fucks shit up as usual. Then a bunch of stuff happens but in the end it's Max Trueblood who kills Hunter - he shoots his son (he agrees to help Selena and Maryse).

I scraped the whole thing because a) I didn't think our gang would be cruel enough to deceive hunter by pretending to be his dead wife/son. And I REALLY didn't want Max Trueblood to have a redemption arc of sorts. I felt like him killing Hunter would be just another way that he'll get by shadowhunters again (cause they're exploiting him in a way) and fuck that.

Anyway, yeah. I'm glad I didn't write it this way.

Similar to IALS, I liked how hunter just gave up? On life and fighting? Because he is based on Alec and I feel like if Alec loses his whole family (like in Thule) he'll just stop fighting and accept his fate too.

After hearing about Thule, and Thule!Livvy, Magnus decides to surprise Jace and the Lightwoods by searching all the AUs out there until he finds one where Max is alive. After making sure it's okay with everyone involved, he portals them there to meet him and have a chance to get the goodbye they never got with their own Max.

Shout out to Thule!Maryse Lightwood.

She is a very strong woman. She is the woman who bearded to see three of her children died, two of them killed by the same man and one of them taking his own life after having to kill one of the most important persons in his life. She saw her forth child taken as a slave and forceful control by the man that killed her two children. And to also bearing with the knowledge that her husband cheated on her, and almost ran away leaving her and her children. And she's also the woman that lost her parents and "lost" her brother too.

And even after all this, she fighted against Sebastian, she aided and assisted rebels against him, she tried to break the bond between Jace and Sebastian which was considered the "greatest treason of all" and fully knowing what would be the end if she was caught. She died fighting to avenge her children and save her last child. She died singing to her last breathing child, telling him that she had loved him for a long time ago, telling him that she still love him and that she will never forget him.

And to add more, she's the woman that will never see her children growth and be happy with the people they love. She will never meet her grandchildren. She will never know the great accomplishments and how proud she could have been of her children.

Wind blew the sand in harsh gusts, uncovering a body in black Shadowhunter gear, the chest torn open and white bone showing. A spill of red hair threaded through the sand, mixing with blood. I absolutely didn’t need the visual representation thank you ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡ )

Clary Fairchild was murdered by the demon Lilith at the Battle of the Burren. MY SWEET BABY NO STOP

Magnus Bane was one of the first great tragedies, Bane realized he was turning into a demon. He begged his boyfriend, Alexander Lightwood, to kill him. Alec did, and then turned the sword on himself. Their bodies were found together in the ruins of New York. I’m gonna need 5 minutes cause i- y’all wtf. I’m not ok. Gonna close the book for a bit. THIS IS NOT OK. SERIOUSLY I’M NOT OK. I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME PERSON AGAIN.

Is there a dimension where the twins are both alive?😩

All of the story of Thule destroyed me on a molecolar level.

“Then who is the leader of the New York vampire clan there?” said Raphael. “Lily Chen,” Emma said. Raphael smiled, surprising her. It was a real smile, with real fondness in it. 🥲

“I saw Isabelle Lightwood take up the Mortal Sword and deal Sebastian an incredible blow. He wasn’t even nicked. He struck her down instead.” My brave baby😫
