Hey just a heads up if you don't use a mobility aid or even if you do DO NOT make comments about someone else's apparent "lack of need" for the aid. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON INSIDE OF SOMEONES BODY! It is not your call to make, you cannot tell from the outside if a person "should" be using a device that helps them. It is NONE of your business and I'm so sick of people staring at me when I put my cane down for a second or hand it to a friend while walking because I need both of my hands. Just because i have a cane doesn't mean i cant walk a distance without it. It simply makes it easier and prolongs my ability to be out. My cane is no different from my headphones and ear plugs to manage my sensory issues. It is a tool that improves my experience living in my fucked up body.
