Things that ran through my head while watching this episode:

--Not as much to say in my write-up today, because I would really just like to bask in this episode. The way that flashback of the Tokito Twins unfolds is an example of why I am so hooked on anime. That is some good angst, and it's made even better with that lighting, pacing, and vocal direction. I love the subtle changes in expressions, and the pause as Muichiro and Yuichiro just find themselves looking at each other in the silence of the night before the violence explodes. Ufotable was on their A-game. But also, none of this is original--they just read all the elements of the manga panels very mindfully, right down to all the ginkgo leaves.

--Like, seriously, seeing this episode animated just got me so much more emotionally invested in this back story than just seeing it unfold in manga panels. It took Yuichiro from "background character" to "character I feel deep regret for." He's not just crabby, he's a grieving kid who rightfully feels abandoned and desperate to hang on to what he has left, and that desperation leaves him no room to be kind or gentle--despite how deeply he cares.

--Irony time! Muichiro's favorite food is furofuki daikon--it's usually made with daikon cut into rounds like Yuichiro cut at that angry moment, and they already had a pot simmering in the background. Despite his irritated exterior, was Yuichiro nonetheless making a dish he knows Muichiro likes? In the way he talks about Amane just being out to use them because they're helpless children, it feels like a protective parent forbidding a child who dreams of being an actor from being targeted by talent scouts. It's heartbreaking that the fallout in their relationship comes from a place of love.

--I said after watching this episode before that I want an AU in which Muichiro grows up to be a sushi chef. Nah. Gyokko can the sushi artisan, and Muichiro can open a dinky takoyaki cart right outside his fancy restaurant and be way more popular.

--I love how Muichiro, powered by the desire to save Kotetsu and therefore able to free himself from the water pot, suddenly sounds more like his old little-brother self. Part of that--a lot of that--is due to being in a bad state due to the attacks he's endured. Of course you don't feel good, little dude, that's a bunch of Upper Moon Five poison in you. Not to mention you're severely injured. Still, it's so sweet to hear him sound more like little Muichiro instead of Yuichiro in his tone and cadence, especially as he recalls more about his dad.

--Another shout out to Kotetsu and Kanamori for being such troopers. Once again, I am confounded by Kanamori's timeline of when Tanjiro would have asked him to be understanding of Muichiro, Kanamori looking up Tetsuido's way of smithing Muichiro's sword because Tanjiro asked him this, and Kanamori having started and completed Muichiro's sword. The only way it works is if Kanamori works at the speed of sound and somehow the steel keeps pace with him as he smiths, or if Tanjiro for whatever reason asked him very far in advance to be understanding of Muichiro (well before Tanjiro and Muichiro had the Yoriichi Type Zero incident), or if Kanamori did not present the order of events or the cause and effect exactly as they happened. Perhaps he looked at Tetsuido's records first, and was finishing the sword when he mentioned being nervous about it to Tanjiro, and then with Tanjiro's encouragement, he got deeper inspiration from Tetsuido's notes while making the extra effort to understanding Muichiro. Whatever case, it's heartwarming that even though Muichiro & Kotetsu friendship gets more attention, Kanamori was indeed laying the foundation to be a very supportive part of Muichiro's life--this not only would put Tetsuido at rest, but it would cement how reliant swordsmen are on their swordsmiths. Also, it would simply be very nice and sweet to see Kanamori being a caring, sturdy presence in Muichiro's life.

--Also worth noting again, Kotetsu pleads with Muichiro to save Haganezuka, in order to save that sword.

--RIP for now, Kotetsu

--Gyokko is actually fun and I love how expressive he is with this unique body language, like how his little hands go to his neck once he's been cut. He acts like his pants have fallen down.

--Haganezuka is indeed very cool and handsome and no I don't think he'd have noticed if Kanamori got killed.

--This was an episode with no Tanjiro. I think the last time this happened was... the Rengoku special???

--He's there in the Taisho Secret, though, because this aired around Mitsuroi-chan's birthday! The Kamado siblings are so star-struck they really do just spend all these Taisho Secret time they can get with her. (Meanwhile, Tanjiro's only impressions of Muichiro are "He's right but he's a meanie! Though maybe he doesn't mean to be mean? Also, wow, he's impressive. Haha, he grabbed my nose! ...Uh, did he notice Chachamaru or something... is he... okay? Oh, he's flying----" so of course Tanjiro is going to be confused when Muichiro is suddenly a huge fan of him and thanking him for stuff he didn't even do.) Anyway, I happened to have just finishing eating omuraisu (omelette rice) when I watched this Taisho Secret, so tee hee, ya~y

--As usual, I had a lot to say.

--I'll just state again, THAT FLASHBACK IS SO GOOD. LIKE, DANG.

Tokito Yuichiro- A Bad Feeling

It was so obvious…Of course you have a crush on his twin brother… Muichiro is kind and considerate to everybody he meets whilst him… he’s rude and cold that most Hashira avoid him like the plague

No woman wants a man like him…

It makes sense that you don’t like him in that way. Yuichiro was quite heartbroken as he watched you through the thick strands of his long black to mint green fade hair. Sat besides the brother he had a personal love rivalry against, Muichiro didn’t even sense Yuichiro’s distress over his messy lovelife

What he heard that day as he wondered over to your Estate for a visit. Kanroji suggesting you were interested in Muichiro when he drifted around the corner to a halt, it all clicked whilst you nervously stuttered at the Love Hashira’s confident statement about who you truly crushed on. He has never been nice to you once, all in spite how kind you are to him

You were just being a genuinely good and kind person, something he is not. You were just being friendly to him since he is the identical brother of your long term crush, the one you want. Unaware to Yuichiro, his cemented view on which Tokito Brother you liked was wrong. He didn’t know that you actually liked him, not Muichiro

Sitting besides Muichiro with a sweet smile and your lunch bento box laid calmly on your lap, looking directly at the Mist Hashira to politely listen to his words as he blabbered on and on so cutely about him and his twin’s efforts at their shared missions. Fishing through your bento, you had no clue Yuichiro was sat up on the short brick wall wrapping around the thick tree, facing to the other way from where you and his twin brother chatted loudly and cheerfully

Yuichiro grumbled in pure defeat after a few more seconds, throwing down the bento box he just couldn’t force down his dry throat anymore as he stands and stomps over to the laughing duo behind him. Both you and Muichiro raise your heads up at the Haze Hashira as his gorgeous mint greens burned with a charring jealousy at his own flesh and blood. Sending a shiver of intimidation down Muichiro’s spine, his older twin glared at him like he was a demon

Yuichiro aggressively pinches your wrist and yanks you up just before you could roll out your concerned question of his name. His baggy and loose uniform matching Muichiro covered his limbs as he lifted you up onto your feet and begun dragging you carelessly away from your spot as you felt your cheeks flame in pale rosy red blush

You were a little scared that he was mad at you but feeling his grasp and his eyes on you made you feel so flustered… you just really liked him

Yuichiro finally stopped in place but didn’t dare let go of his intense grip, twisting his head around to scan over for his younger brothers before he twirls on his heels in a quick pace to face you, those mint greens made you feel a amazing wave of power and beauty overwhelm you as you clamped your lips shut to avoid making him any more angry than he seemed to be

“Can you… not talk to my twin? You’re wasting your time and your effort with making friends when you should divert your time into training and being a good Hashira, Dokusha”

I also wanted Reader to catch up with Yuichiro cause it's been so long and after clearing what's up and all, they kinda hang out and stuff! Meeting your childhood crush after years of not talking to each other was something you didn't expect to happen.

Meeting your childhood crush after years of not talking to each other, then went out on countless of dates with him? Never in a million years would you expect that.

Muichiro took you out for a coffee and you both got busy catching up with each other. Muichiro did go to the same university as you, majoring in Music. That's why you've never seen him around before. He was cooped up inside the art department building, practicing until late at night.

You also found out that Yuichiro was supposed to go there as well, but changed his mind last minute and moved to another city. He was studying to become a PE teacher. As expected from Yuichiro. You remembered him running around the school during recess and PE.

You thought your interest in Muichiro was long gone. You always thought that you only remembered him as a childhood crush, someone you couldn't possibly fall for the second time. But boy, were you wrong.

Muichiro was as calm as you remembered, but he had grown so much. You couldn't help but admire his pretty face every time you went out with him. You liked to watch as his slender fingers wrapped around his cup of coffee. You adored the way he wrapped his arm around your shoulder when you both crossed the street, or when he was holding the umbrella as the two of you pushed through the rain to get to a bar.

"I... would like to start over with you, if you don't mind." Muichiro said one night, when the two of you were having dinner in an Italian restaurant. (Again, Muichiro paid for your meal.) It was your nth date, nearly six months after you met him in the library. Yet, you still wondered when did Muichiro start speaking so straightforwardly.

"Ah..." You put your fork down and folded your hands on the table. "...and what will your objective be?"

"Pursuing a romantic relationship with you, of course." Muichiro mimicked your gesture and leaned forward. "If it works then I'll be your bo—no, I'll be your partner. And, if things really, really, work out... then..."

You raised an eyebrow, definitely interested.

"I see." You smiled. "Damn, you really are a man now, aren't you, Mui?"

Muichiro laughed. "I learned a thing or two from Yui. He was a real casanova back in high school. But I'm serious about what I said. If you're down, then we can try it out and date each other. If you're not, then we can be just friends."

You tilted your head from one side to another. Sure, at that point, you've already went out on countless of dates with Muichiro. You were sure he didn't change much, except for the cursing, the smooth talking he adopted from Yuichiro, and of course his appearance. He was still the soft and kind Muichiro you knew, but older and more mature.

"Alright." You finally spoke up. "Yeah, let's do this."

Muichiro let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding, covering his face with his hands. "Oh my God, I really thought you were going to reject me."

"I thought you're fine with being friends?"

"Well, yeah, but I prefer to be your partner."

There were no butterflies in your stomach, but you felt your chest grew warm. That's when you kind of figured out, it wasn't just some silly crush. You actually felt safe and content with this new relationship.

Having Muichiro as your partner felt like a fresh air in your hectic uni life. Yes, you two were busy bees, always had something in your schedule. However, you were glad that you could still hang out with Muichiro pretty often. Sometimes, he stopped by your dorm with some take out food, reminding you to eat even when you're drowning in assignments and lab reports.

You used to spend your time doing assignments in the library or in your dorm room. Once you knew Muichiro practiced violin in a small, individual practice room, you preferred going there. You mostly listen to classical pieces as you work, anyway.

You both still went out on dates, going to a restaurant or watch a movie if there was something worth to watch. Your favorite activity to do was hanging out in Muichiro's apartment, talking about anything and everything while you eat dinner. Especially on Saturdays, because it became a routine for you to stay the night.

You loved sleeping with Muichiro because even though you were so close to each other, you still had space to move around. Muichiro only cuddled with you until he fell asleep, humming a random melody from the piece he was working on as he pressed his lips on your forehead. After he drifted off, he would usually scoot away.

One day you woke up in the morning and found that Muichiro was already up. He wasn't next to you, but you could hear him out in the living room. You decided to go to him and ask for your morning kiss.

Muichiro smiled when he saw you walked out of the bedroom. He was on the sofa, talking with someone through his phone. Muichiro stretched out his one arm, motioning you to come closer. You groggily straddled his laps and snuggled up on the crook of his neck, sighing in delight. You always loved how warm Mui was.

"Yeah, just let me know when you're almost here. (Y/N) is here. They just woke up." Muichiro planted a soft kiss on top of your head. "Ah, too bad. Could've been an interesting double date."

You raised your head and frowned. What double date?

"Alright, see you." Muichiro hung up the call and shifted his focus entirely to you. "Good morning."

"Who was it?" You croaked out.

"Ah, that was... Yui. Apparently he's back in town for the weekend. So, he's coming over." Muichiro said.

"Dang..." You huffed, hiding your face back in Mui's neck. "We should get ready. He's coming over soon?"

"Yup. Go freshen up. I'll make the breakfast."

You entrusted Muichiro with breakfast as you showered. Muichiro couldn't cook, so you were quite sure that he was reheating the bagels you bought last night and brew some coffee. You were right.

Yuichiro arrived not long after you finished your breakfast. Muichiro opened the door for him and you watched as the twins interacted with each other. Muichiro was fit, but Yuichiro was ripped. Muichiro told you he was in the kendo club and worked out every day.

"Hi, (Y/N)!"

To your surprise, Yuichiro offered you a fist bump—which you returned.

"Hello!" You sheepishly greeted him. Muichiro stood next to you, wrapping an arm around your waist and kissed your cheek.

"It's been such a long time since I saw you!" Yuichiro said. "Glad to finally find out who you actually like, though."

Your face grew red and Muichiro clicked his tongue. "Stop teasing them. I'll kick your shin, you dick."

"I'll break your violin, you ass." Yuichiro retorted.

You were taken aback by the way the two bantered, but laughed anyway. The image of the past, Tokito twins being innocent kids was completely erased from your mind.

Yuichiro ended up hanging out with the two of you the whole day. You three went out to grab lunch, then randomly decided to play bowling. After dinner, Yuichiro excused himself as he had to go to their parents' house.

"It's really nice meeting you again, (Y/N)." Yuichiro said. "Next time I'll bring my partner over so we can go play bowling, the four of us."

"Sure! Take care, Yui!" You waved as he walked away. Yeah, he finally let you call him Yui.

"Wanna go back to my place?" Mui offered, holding your hand.

"Alright, I don't wanna climb up three flights of stairs to reach my dorm room."

You let Muichiro held your hand, dragging you towards his car. He opened the door for you and put a hand above your head as you slid in, not wanting you to hit your head. After you were seated comfortably, he leaned forward to help you with your seatbelt.

"I got it, Mui." You giggled.

He didn't listen. He clicked the seatbelt into its place before turning his head to you. You smiled at him, having no clue why he looked at you a little bit different.

"What's wrong, Mui—"

The next thing you knew, he closed the gap between the two of you as he crashed his lips against yours. You were taken aback, but you kissed him back. He cupped your face with one hand, the other roamed down to your shoulder and arm before taking your hand in his. He pulled away, kissing along your jaw and ended up sucking on a spot behind your ear. You gripped his hand tightly, which made him chuckled.

Mui pecked your lips once again and kissed the back of your hand that he's holding. His mint green eyes were staring straight into your soul.

"I love you, (Y/N)."

"I love you too, Mui."

He smiled widely and closed the door. You watched as he quickly circled the car and got behind the steering wheel.

"What was that for?" You asked him.

"Hmm? Oh," Mui shrugged, "I just love you so much."

"Hmm..."

"...and I'm glad to know that you chose me over Yui, back then."

You rolled your eyes and snorted. "Yeah, no shit. I barely spoke with him."

Mui just shook his head and hit the gas slowly, driving the car away from the bowling alley's parking lot.

ALL TOO WELL PART III (CONTINUATION)

YUICHIRO X READER

The moment the girl's lip pressed on his cheek, you felt your world stop spinning.

You knew right there and then that you needed to get out of there fast as you couldn't hold your tears that's threatening to spill out.

As you hurriedly walk outside, you quickly look for the nearest bench you could sit on as your legs feel about to give out.

But all the energy left you, making you stumble and sprain you ankle, making you yelp in pain, you plopped down in the grass, not caring if your dress will be smudge with dirt.

But you couldn't focus on your sprained ankle, the scenarios keeps playing on your thoughts.

Yuichiro smiling at another girl.

Dancing with another girl as they were crowned the king and queen prom night.

Everyone was cheering on them, "They're so cute" "They look good together" "are they together?"

And that girl kiss his cheek, everyone cheered loudly at the scene, shipping them all the way.

While you stood there and watched the scene unfold.

When you came back to your senses, you quickly stood up, wincing in pain, you look at your ankle at starts to swollen, taking off the heels, you looked around if anyone had seen you. Letting out a sigh when the coast is clear.

You quickly limp on the the nearest bench. Looking up at the sky to stop the tears that's trying to escape. No, you're not going to let yourself be seen this side of you. You're always the one who's strong among your friends. Never allowing anyone to see how vulnerable you are. Being weak should not be in your vocabulary.

You closed your eyes, trying to control your breathing, the tightness on your chest makes you wanna scream out, but then again, you keep reminding yourself. He wasn't yours to begin with, there was no promises to be broken, he wasn't yours to lose.

And that thought alone makes your heart clench, not understanding why you felt this way.

Laughing to yourself as you shake your head, you felt silly. Already knowing no one could ever understand how you feel, it was better to keep it all this together to yourself, no one should ever know.

Why are you now on this spot? Secretly crying and alone. Oh, it was because you became so comfortable and had set high expectation that you didn't stop for a moment and try to think that not everything is a fairytail.

For now, you need to fix yourself, taking off your satin gloves to use it as your handkerchief to clean off the eyeliner that smudges on your face.

"Y/n?" You frooze as you try to wipe your face, looking up, you see Yuichiro looking at you in concern look.

Upon seeing your tears stain face. He quickly rushes to your side, asking what was wrong.

"My ankle" You managed to whisper, thankful that you have an excuse to why you're a mess right now.

"You're so clumsy Y/n" Yuichiro scold you out of concern as he examined your swollen ankle. "shit! It's swollen. We need ice!" He exclaimed, looking frantically.

"Wait for me here" he told you before dashing off inside the venue to probably gets some ice in the juice or whatever.

He came back not too long with Mari and Muichiro with him.

You smile awkwardly to them, waving them off "I'm fine, you should go back inside" You try to reassure but Yuichiro flick your forehead scolding you, "What's fine with that" pointing at your swollen ankle.

"He" was all you could say.

He did some kind ogmf first aid on your ankle while Mui and Mari assist him, you try to wave them off to enjoy themselves inside and not to waste their time on here with you but they insisted.

"Alright I'm taking you home" Yuichiro muttered, Looking back the two, "You should return now, I got this."

He reached his hand out to you to pull you up, once your up standing, he drape your arm to his shoulder to support you walk, and called a taxi and the two of you went home.

"You are so clumsy Y/n" Yuichiro repeated again.

"I know" you muttered. He was right. You're clumsy, you always don't seem to know where you going, you always fall, like falling for him and you ended up hurting.

Once you're outside in your door, Yuichiro frown, "I'm sorry"

"What for?" you asked.

"I'm your date and I'm supposed to take care of you, not only didn't get a chance to share my first dance with you, I failed to take care of you" he muttered quietly, kicking the small pebble on the ground as as he stared at them in disappointment.

"It's okay Yuichiro" You said, smiling slightly to him as you lightly pat his head.

"I feel bad" he said.

"You should be" you wanted to say but stop yourself.

"I'm fine Yui, and it's not your fault I'm clumsy hehe" you said, squeezing his hand to reassure him but deep inside you wanted to scream buy you knew you didn't have a label.

"I promise to be there for you" he said,

And that's the first promise you didn't believe.

It was currently morning as the Tokito twins just finished their missions. They stopped by a small stand where their was an old man selling treats “Nii-san let’s buy some of those!” Muichiro said pointing at the stand full of treats “We can’t, we need to save our yen for a full meal.” “But Nii-san!!!” He whined as Yuichiro sighed. “Fine, just don’t come asking for my food when your hungry.” He said sternly making sure to raise his tone at the ‘my’ “don’t worry Nii-san! I’d never eat your food because I don’t want you hungry!” Yuichiro gave some yen to his brother as he watched Muichiro run off to the stand, after a few minutes of waiting patiently Muichiro came back. They continued their walk as they were near their destination.

The twins were currently at a ramen shop as Yuichiro gobbled down on his ramen, his brother Muichiro was sleeping and eventually Yuichiro finished his meal. Yuichiro shakes his brother awake as Muichiro stirred awake.

Muichiro blinked as he stared at his brother for a good 10 seconds until he rubbed his eyes. Muichiro groaned and stared at his brother in disgust “Muichiro stop looking at me like that!” Yuichiro said as he bonked Muichiro’s head “stfu you dumb excuse of a human.” “…I’m gonna kill you.” “Tell me what is a donkey ugly bitch ass lookin stupid woman like you gonna do to me?” Yuichiro deadpanned as Muichiro threw the empty bowl of ramen on the ground and suddenly the owner came out that he was gay and proceeded to scold the younger twin.

“do you ever shut up? This is why you get no hoes lmfao, small pp bald ass bitch” Yuichiro’s face dusted with pink because of embarrassment. “You gozzamn useless ass of a manwhore who can’t even get hoes lol lmao so embarrassing” said Muichiro as Yuichiro’s right hand went to grip his brothers left shoulder and he whisper-shouted in Muichiro’s ear “Muichiro! Shut up! Let’s just go back to our estate!” Muichiro immediately whipped his head towards Yuichiro “your telling me that I live with you!? This is ridiculous!” He said stubbornly.

“How can I! I the one and only live with a mint flavoured with some chocolate ice creamed hair!!!! Muichiro grumbled as Yuichiro deadpanned again “we look the same.” Yuichiro said losing his patience. Yuichiro looked towards the owner who was absolutely frozen, Yuichiro took a fistful of his brothers hair and ran towards their estate dragging Muichiro as he flailed around.

The twins arrived to their estate as Yuichiro slammed his brother to the ground knocking him out, Yuichiro let out a sigh and he dragged his brothers body to their room. Yuichiro set up two futons and once again slammed his brothers body onto the futon.

Muichiro POV

I groaned as I woke up, I put my left hand on my head only to be met with a slap. I blinked a few times taking in my surroundings as the first person I see is my brother “Nii-san! Why did you slap me!!!” I whined but I didn’t receive an answer, now looking clearly at Yuichiro’s face. It was an unrecognizable expression “I’M GONNA KILL YOUUUUUUUU” oh…it seems it’s gonna be a long day huh…I mentally embraced myself knowing what’s coming.

what if yuichiro survived? twin pillars au

we all know that muichiro had a twin brother, yuichiro, who had been killed by a demon when they were eleven years old. but what would have became of the twins if yuichiro had survived? enter my au.

canon divergence

when lady amane visits the twins, yuichiro initially rejects her offer, but mui is pretty excited about becoming a demon slayer. in this au, mui convinces yui to give it a chance for a while, and if he doesn’t like it then they don’t need to become demon slayers. yui goes along with the idea, but mainly for shelter to protect them from harsh weather and dangerous wildlife, medicinal supplies, and food—because he still believes lady amane’s trying to use them.

the twins stay at the headquarters and train, and they quickly realize they’re prodigies, easily picking up techniques that would usually take weeks to master. mui wants to become a demon slayer, but only if yui becomes one as well, but yui rejects the idea.

after a talk with master ubuysashiki though, yui realizes that if he wants mui to be happy, then he should hear mui out instead of shutting down all his ideas, even if it means risking death. because well being doesn’t only come in physical form, but also emotional and mental as well, and he knows that if he and mui keep fighting over demon slaying, then they’d both be unhappy eventually.

mui is ectastic when yuichiro finally agrees. from there, they officially join the demon slayer corps.

effects of the divergence

what changes: the demon attack never occurs, so yuichiro doesn’t die and muichiro retains his memories and personality.

in canon, muichiro’s strength comes from both his natural talent and the inner rage he acquired after yuichiro’s death, so muichiro’s drive to kill demons wouldn’t be as intense as in canon. but because he isn’t uneasy or confused from his memory loss, he can tap into his infinite strength, as master ubuyashiki said, from a younger age. so in this au, i believe that mui’s sense of clarity and having yuichiro by his side would make him slightly stronger than in canon.

muichiro would still use mist breathing, and yuichiro would use fog breathing. (this is inspired by a yt video by anime labo!) both are similar and derived from wind breathing, but there’s a difference in fighting style and techniques (please don’t make me go into specifics, i have no idea). they’d even have an original final form that combines their breathing styles and doubles their strength.

they’d become the youngest demon slayers to become hashiras. only this time, it’d be a few months earlier, and yuichiro would be by muichiro’s side.

Yuichiro is confused and frowns everytime you just blurt out something that makes no sense or clearly hasn’t been thought out. He does compare you to Muichiro at times with how similar you two act but that doesn’t mean he dislikes you and your wild personality

Yuichiro is beyond fascinated and lovestruck when he sees you battle. He originally thought you had no skill with the katana since you can barely organise a pile of blankets right, but the way you fight. Oh goodness, he is falling deeper in love with your incredible skills and flow

Yuichiro throws meaningless insults at you when he catches you struggling with the most basic task and when you finally break down, proclaiming you feel useless. He steps in to teach you so you can learn better, he can’t stand you suffering in anyway so he’ll do his best to fix it up for you

Yuichiro gets VERY jealous when you bond with his twin, Muichiro. Yeah, he is rarely apart from the other man but he doesn’t want be just the twin of the Mist Hashira who wins you over. He tries to intervene inbetween your friendly chats with Muichiro to pull you away, pretending to be annoyed that you’re ‘flirting with his brother’

Yuichiro is mean but he is just a Tsundere. He loves you, he just doesn’t know how to express it to you properly. He is quite shy with romance and he doesn’t know if he can truly tell you his feelings for you. He has made it out like he tolerates you for business means but…

He tolerates you because he has such a huge crush on you, that even Muichiro can pick it up

“Hey! You. What’s wrong? Hmph… you can’t lock the door again? This is the fourth time, Dokusha. Why isn’t my teachings working or are you just ignoring my help. Ughh… you’re such a baby, here. Give it to me, I’ll show you this AGAIN”

Day Two: Orientation

Ever since your twin's first encounter with the Tokito Twins, your twin had begin to go out more often with you to help you out with the little crops you guys had. Mostly because your twin is interested in them and wishes to catch up to you on them.

It's not like you mind, honestly. If there was anything to say for your side, you were all set and ready to spew out every drop of info you had about your twin.

At first glance, both of them thought that you were the older twin due to your strict and firm nature like Yuichiro's, and your twin's carefree and gentle nature like Muichiro's. But the more the Tokito Twins knew about you two, they eventually realized that no, you were not the older twin. You were indeed the younger one.

Sometimes, it was a comedic sight, honestly. It was unexpected, watching the younger twin work vigorously or chastise the older one when it was normally the other way round. Not that your twin was lazy, it was just that you both had different duties to fulfil. With you having to grow and harvest the vegetables out in the open, while your twin had to clean the little house you guys live in and wash both your clothes in order to maintain your hygiene in the more hidden parts of your home.

Every now and then, the four of you would often meet up in the usual spot you guys hung out in. Be it while taking a small break after working tirelessly to help provide one another, or when all of you were free. Whenever the weather was not suit for you guys to meet up, you would always have a Plan B in mind. And that, is to either go to the Tokito Twins' residence together, or leave a note for them to come over.

You guys would always be mindful to bring some extra resources you guys had, just in case. Remember how I mentioned that you and the Tokitos would trade resources? Yep, you would bring some fresh vegetables, mainly radishes, for them when you came over to their home in return for some firewood or when their food supply was running low.

When the Tokito Twins came over for the first time, they realized that you two were just like them. You two had no parents or guardian and have to work really hard most of the time in order to survive and provide. And before meeting the Tokitos, both of you would even take extra shifts to restock your firewood supplies for cooking or keeping warm.

It was then when you all realized that the four of you just simply had a lot of things in common, so relating to one another was not and was probably never a problem for either of you.

And that, was the beginning of a newly bloomed friendship between two pairs of twins.

It all wouldn't have started without you, no?
