Next we're gonna talk about HOME. But before we do that. Let's understand something. Jikook have these exclusive things they do to/for eo and they prefer if it stays that way. A good example would be Jimin touching JK's chin. It's a Jikook thing or rather used to be, because sometimes in the past u would catch Jimin side eyeing another member when they did it. He's always done it from the beginning and other members started doing it too. But I think Jimin is over it now. Doesn't care anymore. But it did used to bother him. Another example would be the boxing. It's a Jikook thing and they (mostly JK) prefers it that way. We've seen him refuse to play box with V. I even touched on him debunking V here when V said they box together. It's a Jikook thing. Alright? Which brings us to HOME.

As we all know there is that one part where Jikook usually sing to each other during HOME.

If you don't believe it's a Jikook thing, look at how JK reacted when Jimin sang to Army instead of singing to him. Here is an even better angle. He wasn't impressed. He was looking forward to it, only for Jimin to sing to Army 🤭

All duos have designated moments during songs. Here is angry Jin pulling Jimin away from a Taejin moment. (Sorry if u can't access tiktok. Tumblr only allows one video at a time) So this theory is not too far fetched.

Okay now let's get to the Jimin being annoyed part. Not jealous, annoyed. Its important we differentiate these 2 words. He wasn't jealous of V...he was just annoyed that it happened.

Okay. So first lets look at the Jikook moment. Which i love.

And then we look at the Taekook moment.

Why does V always look at members like they're a 5 course meal he's 2 seconds away from devouring? Damn. Anyway, I'd tell you to watch Jimin but that's not the best angle. You see his reaction better from the Jimin fancam.

Yeah... he wasn't impressed either.

Next we're gonna go back to Army proposing to JK. The infamous "Jungkook marry me" I bet JK regretted bringing that up the moment he started getting grilled. Mans really got the 3rd degree 😂😂 And you can see the exact moment Jimin was like; wtf I'm i doing?

Right before leaving to go off camera, looking all embarrassed. That shit was hysterical. Really 😂😂

Next we have JK calling RM sexy.

Jimin rubbing his face like that read to me like "this again?" And I wouldn't have thought anything of it but then he went and repeated the word "sexy" when JK said it which had me 🤔🤔🤔

Next we have this Run Bts episode. I will share Cameron's dubbed version because why not? 😂😂😂😂 JK even tried to make Jimin feel better. Yes, he was doing his mission but why not kill 2 birds with one stone?

Then we have the Busan concert. He wasn't jealous. He wasn't even annoyed. But he was watching them. He took notice. Jimin does it often when it comes to Tkk. He doesn't react, but he pays attention. Idk how to explain it. But he watches them, if that makes sense.

Next one is actually quite popular anon. I'm surprised you've never seen people talk about it. Again I will share the dubbed version because I play too much.

Aaah. Fine. Here is the original for the boring people 🙄 Watch Jimin's face when JK smiles at him. Then JK immediately lets go of V. Though he does it again, coz he can be a brat sometimes. But y'all get it.

These two Jinkook and Yoonkook moments are not even up for debate. It's pretty freaking clear. And yes. I will use the word jealousy for these ones.

Now this one he was not just bothered but actually got angry. Like fucking pissed.

So we have V caressing JK's hair for a long ass time. And we have Jimin hating it. We hear him clear his throat abnoxiously at some point which is when JK notices and tries to like sit up and pull away from V. But as usual V doesn't get the memo and continues to touch. Eventually when they finish, Jimin stands up so aggressively that his chair flies back and then storms off before they have even wrapped up. Idk what it was about this day but Jimin got proper angry about the touching.

Another time Jimin didn't like V touching JK was during this live. He even banged his cup on the floor.

I recommend this analysis of that Dynamite BB hot 100 live/JK's birthday and what was really going on with JK staring at Jimin. Jimin had an issue with all the skinship on this day. That analysis does a good job of explaining why. Give it a go.

This here anon, is what I call the Holy grail. Jimin wanted to kill this army. Well, that's an exaggeration but still, if looks could kill, this Army would have gone up in smoke. So this girl goes to JK and calls his name in this cutesy tone. And watch Jimin. That, is some scary shit right there. 👀 I'd have ran and never come back 🙈

Chasing the Dream

The long awaited (?) next installment in my canon-ish/canon-adjacent "Dream" series is up!

This isn't the whole chapter. Wasn't sure how Tumblr would feel about <ahem> sexy times.

Chapter 1 – Carson City, NV (June 17 – 19)

Mercedes was walking toward the buses after her appearance in the River Run Mall in Carson City, Nevada.

“Hey, Mercedes! Wait up!”

Mercedes stopped and turned toward the smiling Latina. She shook her head; Santana smiling always seems strange yet, these days, all she does is smile.

“What's up?”

“We're spending the night here, right? Heading out in the morning?”

Mercedes nodded. “We're leaving at noon. Why?”

Santana bit her lip and ducked her head. “I was wondering … is it okay if I take Britt out tonight and we spend the night at a hotel?”

“Yeah, of course. Just be back before we roll out or we're leaving your nasty asses here.” She laughed.

Santana, if her skin tone had allowed it, would have blushed. “It's our anniversary. It's been a year since we decided to give it another shot. I just wanna do something special. And, you've been so great about sharing the bus and everything but …”

“Nah, girl, I get it.” Mercedes' face softened. “Go have fun. Happy Anniversary. Happy looks pretty good on you.”

Santana laughed. “Thanks. I kind of need a favor, too.”

“Oh, now you're just pushing your luck.”

Santana's smiled brightly. “I just need you to find a way to get Britt to be busy whenever we have a stop of a day or more. Like, I don't know, choreography emergency or something?”

Mercedes quirked a brow and looked at Santana. “You're taking her out for a special date but … you want me to get rid of her?”

Santana smiled shyly and ducked her head. “I was hoping you'd come ring shopping with me.”

Mercedes' jaw dropped. “Girl … you did not just … are you serious?”

Santana nodded. “Yeah. By the end of the year I wanna propose. By the end of next year, I want her to be my wife. I love her, 'Cedes. She's my favorite person and … I've lived with her and I've lived without her … with her? Infinitely better. Like, a million times better.”

“I'm going to hug you right now.” Then she did just that, grabbing Santana in a tight hug. “Congratulations. I am so happy for you two.” Mercedes wasn't even slightly surprised. Those two could have gotten married at seventeen and she wouldn't have been surprised. They just … fit. It was so weird; they were so different but, oddly, they complemented each other completely.

Santana laughed as she returned the hug. She wasn't much of a hugger (other than Britt, of course) but there were a few people who could get away with it; her mother (sometimes), Mercedes, Quinn, and Courtney.

“Well, I haven't asked and she hasn't said yes so … hang on to those congratulations. So, does that mean you'll help me?” She asked as she pulled out of the hug.

“Oh, she'll say yes. No doubt about that. That girl is beyond crazy about you. Always has been. And, yes, I'll be glad to help you. We can check out the places in the malls we're in and if they're too expensive or not what you're looking for, Google will help us find those smaller family owned places.”

“Thanks, 'Cedes.” Santana heaved a sigh of relief. “I've been looking online but I don't want Britt to catch me; I've got an idea of what I'm looking for, though.” She opened her phone and showed Mercedes a simple round cut solitaire in a platinum band.

“Oh, that is so Brittany. Simple, elegant, not real flashy, and it won't get in the way when she dances.” Mercedes nodded.

“Yeah. If I can find a blue diamond, to match her eyes, that'd be great but I'm not going to let that hang me up. Around a carat, I think.”

Mercedes smiled and looped her arm through Santana's, leading her back to the bus. “Girl, I am so happy and excited for you.”

Santana grinned. “Thanks 'Cedes.”

When they got back to the bus, Santana went to the back room that she was sharing with Brittany. She packed an overnight bag for the two of them and pulled out the dress and heels she wanted to wear for the evening.

When Brittany came in half an hour later, Santana asked her to pick out an outfit for dinner and dancing later.

“Um … okay?”

Santana laughs. “I'm taking you out tonight and then we're going to spend the night in a hotel.” She shows Brittany the dress she'll be wearing. “I figure we'll go check in and get ready at the hotel before dinner.”

Brittany smiles broadly and goes through her clothes before settling on an electric blue knee length dress and black heels.

“I already packed us a bag for tomorrow morning. We just need to be back here by noon.” Santana tells her as she calls for a cab.

“Sounds great, honey.”

They arrived at the hotel around four-thirty in the afternoon and got showered and dressed for their six-thirty dinner reservation.

They had been seated at their table for about twenty minutes and were just waiting for their food. The place had a karaoke stage and several people had already “performed”. They weren't bad, exactly, but Brittany was used to Santana's singing so she was a little critical.

“Next up: Santana Lopez!”

Brittany's jaw dropped as she looked at Santana. Santana just smiled broadly at her as she stood up and made her way to the stage.

“Hi, I'm Santana Lopez and tonight marks the one year anniversary of the day that the love of my life and I got back together.” Brittany's jaw dropped again. She checked her phone; how did she forget that?

“So, I'd like to dedicate this song to her. I love you, Britt. Always.”

Hmm yeah eh eh

Brittany has tears in her eyes as the restaurant erupts in applause when Santana finishes. This girl. Always surprising her. Brittany falls a little more in love every day. She smiles and shakes her head as Santana makes her way toward the table.

“Santana …”

Santana leans in and kisses her softly. “Happy Anniversary, baby.”

“I can't believe I forgot. Or, didn't realize today was the eighteenth, actually.”

“I'm glad you didn't,” Santana grins at her, “it wouldn't have been much of a surprise if you had.”

“Still … I didn't even …”

“Britt, we're having dinner, we're going dancing, and then we're going to a hotel for the night. There's nothing else I want or need other than to spend time with you.”

“I love you, Santana, Happy Anniversary, honey.”

“I love you, too, Britt.”

After dinner, Santana took Brittany's hand and led her down the street a couple of blocks. Brittany had expected a dance club but, once again, Santana surprised her; they walked into a ballroom dance hall.

“I thought maybe we'd do something different? We're always going to clubs and I know you don't get a chance to flex your ballroom moves so, I just thought …” Santana shrugged as she paid the cover charge to get in. “I mean, we can always leave here …”

Brittany silenced her with a kiss. “This is perfect, San. Just perfect.”

The band was just starting Glen Miller's “In the Mood” as they entered the hall and Brittany practically dragged Santana to the dance floor. She rarely got the chance to swing dance and she absolutely loved it. She led Santana around the dance floor and, as always, Santana caught up and followed her lead in no time.

Brittany loved it. They spent the evening dancing Salsa, Swing, Tango, and Merenge. She had to slow her steps a bit at first so Santana could pick them up and follow but she had an amazing time. When they took a break to grab something to drink, several people commented on how well they danced. Santana, of course, gave Brittany all the credit which had Brittany blushing.

They left the hall a little after one and caught a cab to the hotel. Once they were in the room, Brittany pulled Santana in for a deep kiss. As she kissed her, Brittany slid Santana's zipper down, pulling back to allow Santana to step out of it. Leaving Santana in her bra, panties, and heels, she smiled as she led Santana to a chair, sat her down in it, straddled her, and kissed her again.

“I love you, Santana Lopez. Now, you sit here and be a good girl, no touching.” Brittany smirked at Santana and stood up, she pulled her phone out of her bag and quickly scrolled through it until she found what she was looking for.

“You sang for me, I dance for you.”

She set it on the dresser, hit play, and the sounds of Britney Spears' “I'm a Slave 4 U” came through the speaker.

Santana laughed as Brittany grinned at her. But her laughter quickly died as Brittany shimmied out of her own dress and began to dance provocatively, leaving Santana's mouth dry.

This isn’t really from the prompt list if that's okay, but what about Peter inflicting his show on the poor unprepared cyborg? Maybe followed by an invitation to come up and peel all the costume parts off after? (Probably more gross and sweaty than sexy in reality, but still. They can have a sexy shower together. Or maybe not. You’re probably not supposed to put your prosthetics in the shower. Are there water proof prosthetics? I'm going to look that up now.

I think there might be??? I know you can get waterproof ones, but I think those are meant for swimming.

However, I have an idea, haha.

It wasn't hard to spot Arthur after the show, the man stuck out like a sore thumb in his button up shirt and, of course, a bow tie. Totally not gothic, bow ties. Well, maybe if they were little bat wings, a la Jack Skellington. Maybe Peter should get him one, bet that would look spiffy when Halloween comes around.

"Hey, you actually came to the show!" Peter loudly said as he approached, still fully in costume. He stopped when a stagehand grabbed his wrist, trying to get the fire props off. Probably best he let her do that, don't wanna burn the jacket. Again.

Arthur gave him an awkward smile. "I promised I would finally see your show, Peter."

"And? Whatcha think?"

The smile grew tight and the stagehand snorted. Peter glared at her and she went about removing the other fire prop, still looking amused.

"It was... flashy." Arthur commented. "No, wait, I mean, technically it was, through all the lights and pyrotechnics. But... what's the word I'm looking for..."

"Amazing? Cool? Sexy? Spooky?"

"Camp."

Peter opened his mouth to argue, but then shut it with an audible click. He shrugged. "Alright, you get that one. Vampires are a very camp genre, no matter how hetero some people try to make it."

"Clearly." Arthur commented, watching as a few of the scantly clad vampire actresses walked by.

"The irony is that I'm bi and they're a bunch of lesbians." Peter smirked before throwing an arm around Arthur's shoulders. "Come on, let's go up to the flat, honey. You can tell me more about what you thought on the way up."

"I feel like this is one of instances where I should not voice my opinions or suggestions."

"Boo, that's harsh."

They headed for the lifts together, with Peter talking about the show a bit, explaining the plot, which seemed to have escaped Arthur very early on in the show. Then the man cleared his throat.

"Dear, as much as I enjoy you being close to me, I hate to be rude but... you need a shower."

"Hm?" Peter then realized that for one, he was still in his full costume, and two, he had been prancing about on a stage under dozens of very hot stage lights for over an hour in nearly only leather and a wig.

Yeah, he stunk.

"Right, yeah, could use one of those." Then he smirked, wagging his eyebrow. "Care to join me?"

Arthur raised an eyebrow, looking him up and down. "I suppose I could."

Peter didn't hesitate to drag Arthur through the flat to his personal bathroom once they arrived, though he was sure to be careful to make sure the cyborg didn't stumble as they did. Once in the bathroom, Peter suddenly pressed Arthur against a wall, kissing him hard, wanting.

Arthur was quick to return it, and he felt warm, talented hands touching at the bare skin exposed by his jacket. "You... you need out of this." Arthur panted. "You are wearing too many layers."

"Tsk, like you're one to talk." Peter teased and gave the bow tie a tug and let it come undone. It was cute that he chose to wear a red one, maybe he thought it was fitting for a vampire show?

"Yes, but you're sweaty and I think the leather is trying to fuse with you."

"No, that's just how tight the pants are to begin with. Wanna help me with that problem?"

Arthur looked a little flushed and he nodded, hands trailing downwards as Peter popped two buttons on Arthur's shirt, seeing a bit of chest hair. Peter would never understand how a guy like this, who, for one, was way out of his league, was so god damn attractive, and so very, very into him. Well, he wasn't gonna complain.

At least not about that, he was gonna complain about his pants, as Arthur seemed to be struggling with trying to get them down his hips. "Are you sure these are not painted on, dear boy?"

"Trust me, this is normal with them." Peter grumbled, such a mood killer.

Arthur's shirt was removed and Peter got an excellent look at his body, leaving small kisses and nips as he felt his wig get removed. "Gotta remove the rest too, or else I Iook even more like a gay pirate." Peter said as he let Arthur help him remove the facial hair. Then fingers ran through his sweaty, messy locks, and he nearly purred at the contact.

It took a bit of maneuvering before they were finally off, along with the boots that Peter forgot he was wearing. Now he was just in the jacket and a pair of underwear that might be skimming the definition of. Arthur seemed to like them, considering he traced a finger along the waistband of them, biting his lip.

Mood revived from the dead!

Finally, the jacket was removed, dropping to the ground, and he threw off his rings and necklaces, tossing them to the floor with clicks and clatters. He dropped to his knees in front of Arthur and licked his lips, so glad the man wasn't wearing a belt as he popped the button of his fly with his tongue, a silly talent of his.

Arthur made a small noise, a hand grabbing at his hair, giving it a tug, before Peter used his teeth to pull down the zipper, and then grabbed onto the sides of his pants. Peter pulled them down and then stopped.

"Uhhh... honey?"

"Y-yes?" Arthur asked, blinking.

"Are your robo legs waterproof?"

Arthur frowned and glanced down, seeming to forget he was wearing prosthetics. "Oh, uh, no, not this pair. I do have ones for when I do physical therapy, but I didn't think to bring those. I usually just sit in the shower."

"Right." Well, this might cause some problems.

Oh, wait!

"Pop off your legs, I've got somethin'!"

Arthur raised an eyebrow but moved to sit down on the edge of the large whirlpool bath in the room, unlatching his prosthetic legs as Peter got the shower ready and removed the last of his costume and clothes. He turned to face Arthur, who was removing his boxers, the two of them staring at one another.

Peter approached and held out his arms. "You, uh, you mind if I... carry you? I know you hate feeling... ya know."

"Oh, no, it's fine. Thank you for asking first, I do not like being manhandled."

"That's not what you said in bed the other night." Peter laughed and got a slap on the arm for that. With a little effort, and a lot of help from Arthur, he picked up his boyfriend and quickly carried him to the large shower, where a bench was inside.

"Sometimes I'm too drunk to stand well, so the bench is a fuckin' blessing." Peter said as he sat him down on it, watching as the water from the different shower heads were already messing up Arthur's perfectly styled hair. Hot.

"Lovely." Arthur commented, smiling. "Now, where were we?"

"I think I was supposed to be getting cleaned up, though I could... use a little help?"

"I think I can provide assistance with that, love." He said, pulling Peter down closer for another breath-stealing kiss.

I know Peter is an ass, but he is considerate of Arthur when it comes to his handicap. Mostly cause he knows that Arthur will not be pleased if he thinks he's helpless.

Also, I know in movies and stuff when people take off wigs, they always have perfect hair, and even David had that going for him in Fright Night, but that's not how that works. I used to wear wigs and I've had a number of years of stage experience to know that you do not have sexy, perfect hair after all that when taking off a wig, haha. Also, don't wear so much leather, you need to let your skin BREATHE!

Also, can you imagine? Peter getting Arthur spooky bow ties? Do you know how badly I actually want those for myself? I would happily wear those often if I had them.

Buckle up, bitches. Because I'm about to tell you a story.

I've known I was queer since high school, but due to some DEEPLY INGRAINED homophobic opinions (🖕you, traditional Christianity) I refused to admit it until YEARS later. Like after uni later. The way it kind of came out to my mum and sister (the only ones in the family to know) wasn't the best way to tell them (bundled up in an argument and some revelations about some traumatic ass shit that happened--s****l a*****t). I had my first real girlfriend after that. Younger than me, but not by too much. Her mum and I worked at the video store together, and we'd hang out as a group and watch new films (mum was way older). Almost a year later, we broke up. Oh well...

As an adult, I've embraced who I am. I'm not out to my family because of the whole BURN IN HELL YOU SINNER bullshit that they practice (not you know "love your neighbor" and Jesus said "STAY IN YOUR FUCKING LANE"). My students take one look at me and go, yep. QUEER SCHOOL MUM! They know they're safe to talk to me. About 3.5 years ago... maybe a little longer... I started to realize I was also poly. Now, I'd met and become engaged to my husband at that point (three year anniversary yesterday, boy buddy--got married on the 13th). But that's how I felt. It took a while for me to tell him.

Since then, I've had a couple relationships. My now wife--yeah, my wife--is my other best friend. We met because of Tumblr. Because of one of my Young Bucks fan fics on my writing blog ("I sat bolt upright in bed and realized THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE A KID NAMED RJ"). We bonded over our love of wrestling and Fozzy and classic rock. We wrote a whole thing over Tumblr message that is basically the reason we're together (Jericho really IS the cupid of rock). She is EVERYTHING I could ever have asked for and more. Yeah, she's hot and sexy and fine AF. Yeah, she's funny and makes me laugh and reminds me that being my unique self is amazing. Yeah, she is an amazing mum in her own right and loves and cares for everyone around her. Yeah, she's like me and a little slutty (a lot slutty) for Daddy Jericho. But the best thing about being with my wife? The absolutely best thing?

Every single day, she makes me be a better version of myself. She shows me kindness and grace and respect and sacrifice. She sees me, hears me, tells me hard truths when I need to hear them. She allows me to be vulnerable and trusts me to be supportive of her vulnerability. She holds up a mirror that reflects who I WANT to be.

And that means being honest. It means facing my doubts and my jealousy and being able to recognize that yes, I have a mental health disorder that makes my emotions hard to regulate in personal relationships. But no, that isn't an excuse for not taking ownership of how my emotions affect my behaviors and then affect others.

She gives me courage. Courage to fly 3,000 miles to a country where I knew no one but her where I stayed for a week. She makes sacrifices for me and our relationship just as I do, too. She fights for us. WE fight for US. Our Family.

In short, my wife is my person. She is the place I feel safest letting down my walls and showing who I am. (Husband too, of course, but this ain't about you,boy buddy, so stop being so diva). @spaghetti-hoop, I love you with all my heart. Forever and ever. Amen.

You guys would prefer to call more often as a group but with different time zones and different schedules, it can get pretty tough. Though tonight was a night you guys would all be available!

You sadly were joining a tad late due to work but the boys said they didn’t mind as long as you joined in eventually.

Walking into your office and powering up your computer you buzzed with excitement. Opening up the app that you all called on and finding your chat you saw the boys were in call together.

Joining in you heard Sapnap telling a story.

“And at that point, I was ready to roundhouse kick the dog-“ Though his story was quickly interrupted by Karl.

“(Y/n)!!! You’re here!!! How was work? How have you been?” You couldn’t help but giggle at his words.

“Hold on Karl, I’m interested in what Sapnap was talking about.” The call went silent for a moment after you spoke.

“Hey, is something wrong?” Your excited tone was quickly overtaken by a nervous and sad one.

“Holy shit dude, your voice has dropped so much since we last talked! What the hell!” Quackity was the first to speak, his words triggering the other two into responding as well.

Calming down from your little giggle fit you couldn’t help but try to defend yourself.

“I don’t think any of us are.” Their playful words made a soft red rise to your cheeks.

“You guys are goofballs.”

“I can die happy after hearing his laugh.”

“If you die I call dibs on your hat!”

“What am I gonna do with you guys?” The question was meant to be rhetorical but that didn’t stop Karl from answering.

“Give us kisses?” Everyone chuckled at Karl’s answer.

“Next time I see you guys in person I will give you kisses.” Cheers erupted from the three boys, bringing a cheery smile to your face.

Once the overall rowdiness died down the four of you began chatting about anything and everything that came to mind. Of course with the occasional comment on your voice from one of your three boys.

Though sadly as the conversations continued, so did the hours passing by. Before any of you realized it was well past midnight and even though it was the weekend tomorrow that didn’t mean you could stay up forever.

With a sad smile, you all said goodbyes and love you’s, though Karl, Sapnap, and Quackity had a few extra things to say.

“Make sure you’re taking care of yourself, eating every day, and drinking water every day. Don’t forget to do things like shower and brush your teeth, and other stuff like that.”

“I will, I will. And the same to all three of you guys.”

Sure, let's start off with hot takes about writers. There are some that adamantly refuse to engage with the community at all, and I just find that pretty funny. It makes me curious, what's the point of writing? Is it just for readers to jerk off to the sexy words you've put up? I guess that's sufficient for some people. But it just seems kinda empty. Or maybe they've got it all figured out. Write some stories, peace out. Sounds like a great time. I'm sure they're just busy, but damn.

Writers care too much about the morality of literally anything at all when it comes to writing smut about real people who did not consent to the use of their image in this manner and who could and probably would shut down the community immediately upon discovery. Even if it's not illegal per se, you can maybe understand why a subject of these stories might not like it.

Clearly, this isn't to say stop writing. (Your bias isn't reading these.) It's more about the high horse discourse that happens more often than I see in other NSFW communities, the baseball unspoken rules. BarelyLegal is my most on the nose discussion about this point. So like during the lore drought in Summer I got into Hermitcraft bc why not and I was back into my MC interest, seemed fun and i was promised no lore to the extents of the DSMP (which side point, very funny Season 8, the season many of us got into it is the season of the whole everything going down. So before I was into the series, that whole shyebang got a little iffy with some SBI blogs and Trafficblr blogs, who at that time were mainlt SBI blogs and slowly mainning Trafficblr, but most ppl who are fans of dream in Tumblr can agree that those blogs are mostly neg about him, so much that I, anon-Dream (not saying which person but they he's from the Feral Boys)main could see as clear as water.

But okay, sure I got into that section bc of Last Life and slowly switched to Hermitcraft and followed some Trafficblr blogs and hey, they dont seem so bad, maybe I was wrong..

I think one of the quickest things to breed toxicity is a sense of superiority. When you feel like you have the high ground, it's easier to look down upon others and harder to look within yourself. We saw it with general mcytblr during the escapee era; everyone constantly was on about mcytblr's supremacy over mcyttwt and completely failed to recognize and come to terms with flaws in their own behavior. I think that's some of the problem with trafficblr/hcblr - because the dteam side of the mcyt fandom is such a hot mess (and I as a Dream-main will readily admit that) they believe they're above it. Hell, I did too! I lowkey idolized (very lowkey, but still) the hc blogs for their chillness. But that's not how this is. We're all just people in fandoms and as such we're very much alike in a lot of ways. Their ccs rage and trash talk and falter and so on and so on just like the ones I enjoy do, but because they have that false-bottom pedestal they rag on "our side" for it and don't care to consider theoretical hypocrisy.

This isn't every hc fan/trafficblr member - my dash is HIGHLY hc focused nowadays bc in the midst of the lull a lot of people I follow switched over - but I think it's worth considering. I am always ready to talk about the problems with the parts of the fandom I'm in, even when I myself don't agree with the criticisms, but I just don't see that energy shared and swapped among them in general. I don't know if I'd call them "awful" like you because my experience with them as a whole has been incredibly limited (and usually incredibly negative because those are the ones who tend to cross over) but I'm very sorry that's been your experience.

You. And I. Have VERY different definitions of 'bad'. So I got around to reading the secret fic just now, and - come on, how can you even call it bad with a straight face? It was absolutely delightful. First of all, I can totally see Cinder - or, well, a version of her that didn't have to grow up using seduction as a tool to gain power - asking someone out in a terribly awkward way like that. She would absolutely be that kind of socially awkward dork, with different circumstances. The straightforward 'I intend to fuck him, if you really want to know. Not play Doubles with him.', was hilarious, as was the entire c-plot about Cardin and his underpaid friends. And seeing them interact in a normal context, a RELATABLE context, without the whole 'mortal enemies' thing, was refreshing, and I loved it. I totally think you should post it, I think you might be a bit too hard on yourself when it comes to your content.

Okay well I'm glad you enjoyed it, I think it's always worth sharing something if even one person does, and I really did get a kick out of writing it. The reason I wouldn't put it on AO3 for the average person to find is that... well... it is a little weird and also very specific crossover of interests, and also bad of course. XD XD

I mean I only see the weaknesses in my writing and I think it's also partly a defense mechanism, because if I already know/think it's bad, then if other people don't like it, it doesn't hurt (and I think this ego-protection is kind of sad for how world-ending it is for me if other people don’t like me/my work, that’s sort of why I’m antisocial). I hate the sound of my voice I can sense in my writing, I have to do everything to elide it. But yeah most of everything of what I do falls short of what I want, and either I can use that to improve something (ideal, though knowing when to stop is necessary) or I can have a tantrum. It's 50/50 on what happens. Sorry for the dump lol.

Part of my characterisation theory is that meddling is involved in some fashion, but it's more harmless. I also think her seduction mask is also like, a child's idea of the way a sexy woman behaves, so I like injecting some sense of naïveté into it. I generally resist the notion that Cinder is actually romantically/sexually experienced, at least in a healthy way, but that's a whole other post.

I'm not sure why I enjoyed writing Cardin so much but like, that part really amused me. Cardin, that's a labour violation. There is also an actual guy who did comedy-like interviews/skits at tournament, so that's also sort of a sly nod to him because his videos were really funny. I'm certain that he paid his workers very well, though, I was mostly just mocking other YouTuber idiots lol.

Yeah I mean I love mortal enemies (o: it's just fun figuring out translating it to other contexts. By virtue of who they are in canon, it makes their alternate selves more interesting. Again: narrative effect only possible in fanfic.

with svt it was instant love i got to know abt them during march 2019 ig, their songs grew on me so fast and boom by the time may came i was a carat, with got7 it was gradual love, it increased lil by lil it's nice but i do wish i could've stanned them earlier. the only cb experience as an official birdie i have is nbtm and last piece 😭 anyway both of these groups are very dear to me not just musically but emotionally too. i love them very much 😔.

I love how Az pines after ONE female, and suddenly he's this evil, awful Fae male. admittedly, its a little weird for it to go on for so long but whatever, it's SJM. we never said the shit she writes makes sense, but not once not ONCE has he ever forced himself on Mor. they're friends, but she knows he has a crush on her and that's the extent of it.

then the entire fandom sexually objectifies and fantasizes about him for years. Tbh I've never paid too much attention on Azriel. I joined this fandom in the beginning of this year and tumblr was all about Nesta and Rhys and yes, Az and the ship war (I was obsessed with Feysand). But now that I'm paying attention to his character... I can't enjoy him and I'll explain you why. Yet, I do think he has a very interesting backstory and I would definitively read his heal arc; he's a good guy we all know that, otherwise he wouldn't be in the IC (some people may disagree on this lmao).

"He has never forced himself on Mor." True, but he reminds her of his feelings and that it's always there. I don't know about you, anon, but for me it would be creepy to have a guy pining after me and just... don't get the hint that "heeey we don't have a chance". Mor want to be his friend, but Az was hopeful that her feelings for him would be somehting more in the five centuries that they live together. Also, I don't think he'd loved Mor, maybe for a few years, but then what was supposed to be love turned to be an obsession. I can't with it; it brings me weird feelings.

Anyways, others reason for me to dislike him:

The way the fandom portraits him; as you said, a sexual object. Yeah, falf of my frustration is about the fandom and not the character itself. The things I see people saying about him is how sexy and misterious he is and a idead of how Azriel is like. I didn't read fics or headcanons about him to say that there is a fanom Azriel, but I don't doubt that there is; not when I see people saying that his POV was so OOC (we don't even know the guy). So, I don't want to be associated to this Azriel idea.

He is quiet, he doesn't show his opinion frequently and when he does, he tries to leave as the good guy. I can't connect with it. I used to spend most of my time playing video games with people like Azriel. I'm not saying that he'll be quiet and then say something disgusting, but the impression he gives to me is something like that. It's awful to think that a guy is cool, like "yeeeeh we're having a good time together" and then the guy says "oh but not all men" or "but you're a woman!"

He's sad and need therapy and, nonnie, the amount of "exposed" on twitter that I saw because of it. There are real people thinking that sad boys are sexy and all those stuffs and I can't with it. I see this same situation with Azriel; everybody hype him because he's misterious and good-loking, but he have such heavy traumas and don't know how to deal with it. It's the same situation that happaned with Tamlin and I don't want Azriel to become a Tamlin 2.0 (can you imagine how Feyre will feel specially if Elain becomes a Feyre 2.0?). I want Azriel to heal first and then go after his LI.

He has angry issues.

Now about his sexual thoughts.. I don't think people disliked him for imagining Elain in a sexual way. Everyone (I think) has sexual thoughts and, as you said, it's ok!! It's normal and common and health!! Thing is: he only thought on Elain in a sexual way while it seems that he wanted to build a relationship with her.

I think people started changing their opinion about Azriel because of the redflags that there are in his POV. He only thought about her as a pretty face and a way to find true hapiness with love. He didn't see her. We all know that a relationship like that is unlikely to work, so people got careful about it.

And this situation of him being "freak in bed" actually concerns me mostly because of how will SJM deal with it. But, as I said, I never undestood this hype that he got. I would love to see BDSM representation in the books (please don't make it as 50 shades) and I even have headcanons about it for Az, although it's just a slight and distant idea. What I do care about Azriel is his past and traumas and how he'll deal with it, not how handsome he is.

I hope you undesrtand what I meant, anon. If you disagree with me about anything that I listed feel free to call me out or other stuff, I'm always open to a debate, although half of what I said is my feelings for the concept that I have about the character and personal taste.
