This is not so clear tbh but you may be getting a pet or finding new friends/reconnecting with old friends. For a few, it could be romantic love as well but it's mostly platonic at this moment. I think it's a connection that will help you heal/cleanse a part of you that has been under a toxic air for too long. You will give yourself the permission to believe that things can go differently from how they used to be, you'll be more welcoming and open to possibilities. This will bring you a new start in your love life (any type). You will be able to take care of another again, while receving what you need too. It could be something relating to your healing, some closure or realization about your self worth or related to trusting the process/divine timing (it is finally coming), and finding comfort/your path. These are just ideas/examples though, the main thing is that you will be able to succeed in whatever you want, even spiritually not just materially. You are probably stressing over something from your past, something that is still in your past (maybe there are triggers about one trauma of yours you are still working over). The thing is... that's the past. You are here in the present and it's up to you to change how you react to that trauma and trigger: it cannot disappear suddenly, but you can work towards it/yourself with love, sit with your emotions, look inside and take action to heal. To look at things from a different point of view. To start all over. Do not keep yourself in a place that is no more where you are. It's all momentary, so get back to your present.

There's probably something you still need to heal about you before you actually can receive this blessing: I think it could be about your self sabotaging habits like... feeling you don't deserve what you're getting or finding (fake) problems in regards to it. It's about your life and no one else. Realize what you want for yourself, write down pros and cons, and then make your decision. Be determined about your dreams though: the change here, as I said, is gonna bring you abundance on many different levels, even if you cannot see that now or you won't see that once the time to make a decision comes. Believe, trust your guts.

"Guys? O- Leo? Raph? Mikey?!"

"Dad??"

Donnie wrapped himself tight in his blanket. He was supposed to be done with these blindness problems. Splinter- Dad- had said his sight was completely restored.

Yet here he was, in the middle of his bed, seeing absolutely nothing. 

It was scary. 

"Dad?!!"

Nobody answered. Where was everybody? Was he alone? He didn't want to be alone. Not when he couldn't see.

"GUYS!!"

"HELP!!!"

Donnie could feel tears forming in his eyes. At least that part still worked. 

He curled up into his shell and screamed. He wanted someone to hear him, he needed someone to hear him. He was scared. 

At least before this, he was never alone. 

"Guys, please…" He could barely choke out the words as he sobbed. He sat there, in a bed, completely alone. 

He heard something thumping around him. Was that coming from outside his room or inside? 

He shrank even further into his shell, crying so hard his throat hurt. 

Please don't hurt me.

Please don't hurt me.

Please don't hurt me…

"Donatello!"

…Dad?

"Donatello, are you alright?"

Dad.

"I- Dad, I can't- I can't see you," He stammered between tears. "I can't see!"

 "It's okay, I'm right here. I've got you." Splinter's voice was calm, soothing. Donnie felt those familiar, soft hands hold him gently. Donnie pulled himself out of his shell and buried his face into his father's chest, unable to stop crying. "I can't see," he mumbled over and over. 

"Hold on, it's okay. Don't worry." Splinter picked Donnie up and carried him around. Donnie wasn't sure where, but if Dad was doing it then it must be okay… right?

He heard the mumbling voices of his brothers, asking what was going on, but he was too scared to focus on their words. Splinter was stroking his head, holding his hand, making sure he was okay. Donnie's sobs turned to heavy breaths as he calmed down.

"Donatello, open your eyes." He didn't even notice they were shut, but opening them made no difference. He could only see pitch black in front of him. The darkness was swallowing him whole, and he couldn't do anything to escape it except squeeze his eyes shut again.

"Donatello. Look at me, it's alright."

Donnie hesitated, but he peeled his eyes open slowly. 

He saw his dad's face. His soft, fuzzy face. It was definitely there. 

"Dad…?" He whispered as his eyes refilled with tears. 

"I told you; it's alright. You can see me now?"

Donnie nodded, afraid to wipe his eyes in case he lost his sight again.

"There was just a power outage in the city. It caused our lights to go out as well, including your lamp." Splinter smiled and carefully rubbed the tears out of Donnie's eyes.

"Here," he said, placing something small into the turtle's tiny hand. "In case it's dark again, use this. A flashlight."

Donnie stared at the tube thing in his hand. There was a tiny light inside of it. He held it close and hugged his dad tightly. "I- I'm sorry…" he mumbled. 

"Don't be. I'm here to take care of you, it's okay to be scared." 

Splinter laid Donnie back into his bed. His brothers crawled in after him, holding him close. The four laid down to rest, the flashlight still in Donnie's hand.

Splinter sighed, smiling at his boys. He turned to leave, but decided it would be better to stay in the room in case the light died while they slept. He sat next to the bed, and he heard a small voice whispering to him;

"Thanks, Dad."

Turbolent Plasma - The Source of the Universe's Magnetic Fields?

I promised days ago, now here I am.

The origin & evolution of cosmic magnetism is one of the most profound mysteries in astrophysics & cosmology.

Physicists at MIT have developed a new paradigm for understanding the origins of magnetic fields by studying how the microphysics of collisionless plasmas affect macroscopic astrophysical processes.

The plasmas between stars & galaxies are low density, which means that the particles in cosmological plasmas never collide, a key property that was included in the model the researchers developed.

By including detailed small-scale effects of plasma dynamics on macroscopic astrophysical processes, the model demonstrates that magnetic fields can be spontaneously created from flows in collisionless plasma.

What is plasma?

It is one of the four fundamental states of matter, along with solid, liquid & gas.

It is an ionized gas consisting of positive ions & free electrons.

It was first described by chemist Irving Langmuir in the 1920s.

Side note: The solar wind was the first astrophysical plasma in which direct measurements of turbulence were made.

Most of the visible universe is in a plasma state & usually the flows in these plasmas are turbulent.

So what does 'turbolence' mean?

From a fundamental point of view, turbulence is a paradigmatic example of nonlinear dynamics in open systems with many degrees of freedom.

It's basically what one would describe as chaos. Which is an okayish description. The image is important.

The system typically establishes a quasistationary self-organized state far from thermodynamic equilibrium. For this to happen, a permanent input, redistribution & output of energy is required. Basically, to have a stable system, you have to have a constant energy flow.

Various fundamental aspects of turbolence still belong to the most important unsolved problems of classical physics.

Alright, now that we've got THAT covered, let's dive into the study, shall we?

Why is all THIS important anyway?

Observation have shown that there are massive magnetic fields in our galaxy & in the intracluster medium (ICM) of galaxy clusters, but the why & how is still unclear.

It is widely believed that such dynamically important magnetic fields first arose as weak "seed" fields generated by cosmic batteries, subsequently amplified to currently observed levels by the turbulent dynamo of the plasma: a fundamental plasma process that converts the mechanical energy of plasma motions into magnetic energy through electromagnetic induction.

The origin of planetary, stellar & cosmic magnetic fields, the physics of accretion disks, the acceleration & propagation of high-energy cosmic rays, as well as many other space & astrophysical processes could be these turbulent plasmas!

There are two broad perspectives on the origin of cosmic seed magnetic fields:

The primordial origin (early universe)

The galactic origin

In the primordial origin seed fields are generated before recombination or the era of structure formation.

The earliest seed fields can be generated by exotic early-Universe mechanisms during inflation & cosmological phase transitions. At later times during the radiation-dominated era, seed fields can be produced e.g. through plasma fluctuations. These mechanisms potentially explain the pervasiveness of magnetic fields, but with predicted amplitudes that are typically weak (∼10−20 G).

Scenarios based on a galactic origin postulate that seed fields are generated through gravitational collapse or collision-related events occurring during structure formation & stellar evolution in the early Universe

(I won't go into the details of HOW because then I'd go completely through the roof & loose you all, but there are MANY ways for the birth of these seed fields).

These seed fields generated locally within stars or galaxies, are typically much stronger than the primordial seed fields & can potentially be transported into & diluted throughout the intergalactic medium (IGM) or early intercluster medium (ICM) by powerful galactic winds or jets.

Once formed, seed magnetic fields are thought to be amplified & sustained by the turbulent plasma dynamo after reionization, when the baryonic material in the universe becomes electrically conducting.

The possibility that turbolent plasma could also be the origin & not just the thriving force of these magnetic fields had not yet been explored yet.

In conclusio: they did simulations & they showed that, in addition to generating new magnetic fields, the turbulence of plasmas can also amplify magnetic fields once they’ve been generated.

This helps explain how magnetic fields that originate on small scales can sometimes eventually reach to stretch across vast distances.

Further research remains to be done.

A surprising parallel with Ghostbusters

I wanted to find out if the mention of the only person who went missing before Will could be relevant. And I think it is.

First of all, Hopper sleeping with the librarian always felt random to me. But maybe the writers wanted to connect this information to the library.

We know that it’s important. It’s where Will was found, where in S2 he sent the soldiers to die (the tunnels were under the library, and so were the animals used as incubators for the demodogs). And now it’s the convergence point of the gates. I think it’s possible that this person will be mentioned again in S5. Maybe it’s the old skeleton in the library. Or maybe in the library there were some important information on them.

But that’s not the cool part.

1923 in other stories ST has parallels with

In Rose Red (parallels here) John Rimbauer, the owner of the haunted mansion that keeps growing (like the UD/tunnels), is killed by his wife

In the 1923 classic horror movie, Warning Shadows, during a dinner in the house of a wealthy count, a Shadowplayer gives the guests visions (here). This reminds me of the dinner at the Creel House. 

The director, Robison, was born in Chicago: in the Creel House’s attic there’s a musical score and the only word I can see is Chicago.

And Robison’s first movie, Night Horror, is about a woman who receives a message from a notary that her grandfather died. Virginia moved to Hawkins after her grand uncle died.

And what about Ghostbusters and Ivo Shandor?

He was the architect behind 550 Central Park West, the building that became a portal the god Gozer used to try to invade our world.

I knew ST has A LOT of parallels with Ghostbusters, but then I found out that Shandor completed the apartment building in 1923.

Who is Ivo Shandor?

In 1920 he became a cult leader (parallel with the cult of Vecna?) and constructed the building using “magnesium-tungsten alloy and cold riveted girders with cores of pure selenium”. The special metal was a conductor that encouraged paranormal activity.

Ray Stanz: “The whole building is a huge super-conductive antenna that was designed and built expressly for the purpose of pulling in and concentrating spiritual turbolence.”

Egon: “They conducted rituals up on the roof, bizarre rituals intended to bring about the end of the world.”

Shandor thought that the world was too sick to survive, so he began to worship the sumerian god Gozer and wanted it to destroy the world. 

So.

A haunted house. A house with a Shadowplayer, and a cult leader who built a building as a gate for an evil god.

I really doubt it’s just a coincidence. 

Steve and Dustin put a demodog in the Byers' fridge. The Terror Dog Zuul in Ghostbusters appeared in Dana Barett’s fridge. 

In Ghostbusters, the creatures that opened the gate are the Gatekeeper and the Keymaster

(thinking about all the keys and keyholes in S4)

Not to mention that Finn plays one of the characters in Ghostbusters Afterlife where (SPOILER) Ivo Shandor appears.

The two Peters

Also. Venkman’s love interest Dana got possessed. We thought this was a parallel between Lumax and Byler, since both Will and Max got possessed/ cursed.

But what if it's also foreshadowing of Edward and Henry, whose fake name is Peter?

Two people, Mike and Lucas, playing the same character: Peter Venkman...

And in S4 we see the name Peter (plural) associated with keys

Leo sat entirely amused by his older brother's antics. The stepping turtle was walking around the dojo, switching weapons from normal racks to the other brothers' spots.

Raph roamed around as Leo spoke “Is this another one of your training ideas?” He asked

Raph snorted, “It’s not dumb.”

Leo raised an eyeridge. “What the hell are we doing then?”

“Language. And we are swapping weapons today.” Raph pulled Donnies bō from the rack, putting his own tonfā in its place.

Leo leaned back on the beanbag, still watching.

“So a disaster, got it.”

“We gotta be ready in case something happens Leon.” Raph turned, face all serious. “Shredder is still out there-“

Leo waved one hand. “Not really bro, he's done and dealt with.”

Raph raised an eyeridge, but sighed. “If you think so. Still, it's better to be ready then not.”

Leo groaned, missing the grin that came over Raphs face.

“So ya don't want to see what happens when I give donnie two blunt weapons instead of one?”

Leo bolted up, his own grin spreading on his face. “Oh that I want to see.”

Raph laughed as Donnie and Mikey came into the dojo, both giving him confused looks.

Leo waved them off, pushing himself out of the beanbag. He grinned as he grabbed Mikey's kusari-fundo, spinning it around.

Mikey squacked, but Raph put an arm out before the box could lunge at him.

“We're doing a thing today big man.” Raph snorted as Mikey glared at him. “Will you cheer up if I give you something sharp?”

“Wait, that’s mine!” Leo yelped as Mikey scrambled over Raphs arm, grabbing Leo's sword off the wall.

"There mine now fucko!” Mikey grinned, leaning on the sword the same as Leo often did.

“Language.” Raph and Donnie spoke at the same time, though neither had any heat to it. Both Mikey and Leo rolled their eyes.

Donnie took the tonfā, then looked back at Raph. “You just switched our weapons.”

Raph shrugged. “yep.”

“Why.”

“‘Cus.”

“Groan.”

Leo stood opposite Mikey, kusari-fundo in hand. He grinned, moving to mimicking one of Mikey's lower stances. He held the longer part in one hand, chain wrapped around his other wrist.

Mikey stood, ohidi in hand. He had a wider stance, sword held up in the same pose Leo often took. Mikey was grinning, head tilted down, spots glowing slightly.

“Alright you two,” Raph called out, pausing to make sure he had their attention. “No nimpo, normal training rules apply. play nice now.”

Mikey giggled as Leo nodded. Leo was only slightly nervous about putting a blade in Mikey’s hands, but oh well. It was too late now.

Raph held up one hand. “Three.”

Raph folded down his thumb as the pair turned to face each other. “Two.”

Raph folded another finger down. “One.”

Raph dropped his hand. “Go!”

Leo jumped back as Mikey lunged forward, a mad cackle escaping them.

Leo laughed as he held up the chain to block the sword as it came down the first time. the little shit had gone straight for his head.

Leo de-tangled his hand, flinging it forward to wrap around his sword as Mikey tried to jump back.

Mikey, of course, got away faster than Leo could act. Mikey grinned, still giggling like the little demon he was.

Leo rolled his eyes, flinging the chain forward. It stopped short of mikey.

They both paused. Leo could feel one eye twitch. Mikey snorted after a moment.

“Dude, that was so bad.” Mikey looked ready to explode with laughter.

“Shut up.” Leo groaned, grabbing the chain and coiling it back up.

“Wanna try again?” Mikey teased, still giggling.

Leo rolled his eyes, attempting Mikey's move once again.

This time he caught the blade. He grinned. Mikey groaned.

Leo laughed as he yanked Mikey forward.

Mikey smiled, letting go of the blade.

Leo yelped. He dropped Mikey’s kusari-fundo as he jumped back, not wanting to get cut by his own blade <i>again</i>.

Raph just sighed as Donnie let out a small laugh.

Leo turned to raph. "Hey, I got Dee to laugh.” He grinned.

Raph had an amused look on his face, no matter the shake of the head and the flick of the tail Leo got.

“Yeah sure.” Raph waved them forward, not able to hide his laugh.

Leo and Mikey shared a grin, grabbing their respective weapons and running over to stand next to Donnie and Raph.

Raph gave Leo a pat on the shoulder as they traded spots, bō in his other hand. Donnie's wooden bō was in the lab, the snapper not daring to train with the metal one lest he face Donnies wrath.

Donnie and Raph stood opposite, both standing straight. Donnie moved to bow, Raph following suit not half a second later.

Leo rolled his eyes, raising one hand to mimic what Raph had done just a few minutes before.

The older pair didn’t seem to need it, Raph lunging forward with bō ready to strike.

Donnie brought his hands up after a second hesitation, absorbing what little of the blow they hadn't been able to avoid.

Raph stepped back, raising the bō. He shook his head, dropping it back into a more neutral stance.

Donnie took this chance to lunge forward, fist raised to try and pounce Raph in the chest.

Raph stepped to the side, grabbing Donnies hand and pushing him aside.

Donnie spun as he landed, the other fist managing to make contact into Raph’s shoulder.

Raph grunted, bringing the bō down to bonk Donnie on the head.

Donnie stepped back, hissing.

Raph snorted, moving back to prepare for another strike.

Donnie leapt forward, managing to land another blow on raph.

Raph related by tripping the soft shell, bō coming down, stopping just at Donnie's throat.

Raph grinned, Donnie sighing.

Raph offered a hand, pulling Donnie up in one movement.

Mikey leaned over to Leo, mumbling. “Now I feel bad for messing around.”

Leo shrugged. “Yeah, but they train more.”

Mikey nodded as Raph congratulated donnie. “That’s true.”

Leo shrugged. “wanna go again?”

Mikey giggled. “Sure!”

During the night, there was a heavy, heavy thunderstorm, like, the midwest sorta big one's with lightning so bright, it leaves you breathless. And there was a guitar amp in the room. During the thunderstorm, it suddenly started to make noise, like, crackling and even some sounds and I thought, it had been left on and was transmitting some of turbolances in the air (my Dad did HAM radio so I was familiar with waves and such) ... but it was off and unplugged ... let's just say ... I pulled the blanket up very high that night! Have you ever seen something you can’t explain? - In the sense of cryptid sightings, not that I remember. I'm certain my cats see ghosts all the time, but to me ... they are staying rather hidden so far, sadly! More spoop here!!!
