Household is a Roleplaying Game about Littlings, little folks living grand-tiny adventures in a big abandoned House. Set in a regency-like era, 100 years after the disappearance of the Master, Household features an immersive lore that takes players into a unique setting.

Winner of the Roleplaying Game of the Year in 2019 in Italy, Household is the latest game by the ENNIE Awards nominated authors of Broken Compass, Riccardo Sirignano and Simone Formicola, and is beautifully illustrated by Daniela Giubellini.

Players of Household take on the role of littlings, little beings of the Little Folk from European folklore. Together, these littlings will go on to live little great adventures that span over five of the most troubled years in the history of the House, beginning at the end of the First Household War and living in the shadow of a new threat. It was a magical period when all Folks came together in new alliances despite old disagreements, a time of ideological and industrial revolutions. All this, while always on the brink of a diplomatic incident.

Household is an RPG that uses small pools of six-sided dice to determine the outcome of uncertain actions and events. When rolling dice in Household, your goal isn’t to roll the highest or lowest possible total, but to combine as many equal symbols as you can in pairs, three-of-a-kind, and so on.

Memento Mori - A Roleplaying Game of Dreams and Corruption

Memento Mori is a folk-horror roleplaying game set in Europe in 1347.

The Black Death is exacting its toll on Europe, and it will quickly exterminate a third of the population. The characters are a group of Drifters, infected people who come in contact with dark creatures from folklore due to their condition. With every new horror they experience, the characters will become ever less human and increasingly similar to the creatures they are fighting.

Only the Dream burning within them can keep them alive. What will they sacrifice for it?

Memento Mori has an original game system created to highlight the process of corruption and transformation undergone by the characters.

The system uses two pools of six-sided dice distinguished by color. White dice represent the human skills of Drifters, while black dice represent the supernatural powers and monstrous features that they develop.

The Drifter Sheet

When rolling dice, the Players’ objective is to roll as many 5 and 6 as possible in order to overcome the difficulty set by the Narrator. The powers developed during the Drifters’ adventure come at a steep price, because the Players are forced to choose a part of their character to sacrifice whenever the corruption grants them a new ability.

Every element on the character sheet is subject to change in order to achieve their Dream and unlock new powers.

We will produce 3 books for Memento Mori, plus a book-shaped box containing official dice and tarots. You will only need the Memento Mori corebook to start playing.

MEMENTO MORI: [Corebook] 200+ pages in black and white, hard cover, A5 format. The corebook contains everything you need to play, the setting, and a short introductory adventure complete with four Drifters ready to play. All neatly binded, with a canvas-style hardcover with gold lettering, and a ribbon bookmark.

CODEX GIGAS: 200+ pages in black and white, hard cover, A5 format. This expansion is composed of Addendum (setting), Bestiarium (creatures), Herbarium (plants), and Lapidarium (minerals). Thanks to the supernatural myths, descriptions, treasures, and ingredients in this book, the Narrator can lead the group of Drifters beyond the boundaries of the known world.

EX VELUM: 150+ pages in black and white, hard cover, A5 format. In this compendium of esoteric knowledge from Beyond the Veil you will find everything that was previously kept secret from Drifters because too dangerous and too powerful. Rules to use Tarot cards, and menacing revelations, a Lost Bestiarium (secret creatures), Legends from the Ephemeral Land (prominent individuals), and a Grimorium (rituals and magical items).

ARCA FATI: Box shaped like an A5 hardcover book. This box holds the most precious materials from this edition of Memento Mori. The Tarot deck and the custom-made dice, as well as many other surprises that we may unlock as stretch goals during our campaign. NOTE: You will need the Ex Velum supplement to use Tarots in Memento Mori.

DEATHLESS EDITION: Slipcase with a detachable magnetic 3-panel Narrator Screen. This slipcase holds the 3 Memento Mori books, and the Arca Fati box. The front is a detachable 3-panel Narrator Screen that features summary tables for all the main game rules.

#i thought of this a couple weeks ago on the bus a couple seats away from someone loudly coughing into the open air #i think something snapped and i decided to make a fuckin. medieval ass plague sona. horseman of pestilence fursona #this is also why i was asking abt animals with medical symbolism.. originally i wanted a two headed snake like the staff of caduceus #but it turns out thats actually hermes symbol. the real symbol for medicine is the rod of asclepius which looks pretty similar #the difference is that theres only one snake and its twined around a stick. ironically mercy from overwatch's weapons are named after #the caduceus despite the misconception LMAOOO #snakes were the most consistent medicine related animal i could find even across multiple cultures so it couldve really worked #if i could actually draw scalies.. one of my earliest sketches had a cobra with a syringe at the end of its tail like a rattlesnake #and it had markings similar to the syringe tube but i didnt have much else going on so i scrapped it #i was also recommended animals with less obvious ties to medicine like jellyfish and horseshoe crabs and learned something new ^_^ #im not confident i could pull off a non-mammal furry but they were really good ideas i might put into smth else.. i also thought of #axolotls bc of their regenerative thing and growing back limbs but i think that would suit smth like a surgeon or amputation... #possums and bats were also an option bc theyre actually really resistant to most diseases like rabies but i feel like ppl wouldnt know that #if they saw it so it looks a little ironic at a glance. rabbits rats and mice were my second option bc of animal testing and lab rats #less obvious reference but the moon rabbit in chinese mythology is loosely connected to medicine bc it makes the elixir of life #otherwise lab mice in a pharmacy / modern medicine setting seemed fitting and jerboa tails remind me of cotton buds #and. ironically. jerboas are more closely related to elephants than rats and mice. can you believe it #my art #myart #my oc #sona #plaguesona #cottonbud #fur #furry art #character design #ref sheet #oc ref sheet
