God's timing teaches you to trust. #trustingod

Wait on God's timing and you'll have a better result. Rushing things will do no good. Have patience, and trust that everything will work out. #trustinggod

Many people stop pursuing the pathway to their destiny when they don't see things lining up as quickly as they thought they should. But God is intentionally using the delays and detours in our lives to develop us for where He is taking us. #trustinggodsplans

What God does in us while we wait is more important than what we are waiting for! #waitongod

The strength of patience hangs on our capacity to believe that God is up to something good for us in all our delays and detours. #trustgodstiming

Some disappointments were divine.

Some closed doors were a blessing.

Sometimes, if we're honest, we wanted things that were not good for us. #waitonthelord

Waiting is not just something we have to do until we get what we want. Waiting is part of the process of becoming what God wants us to be. #godstiming

For The Unsettled Minds–Wait On God

On this beautiful Friday, whether sunshine or clouds. Know that you can have peace and love despite your circumstances. There's so much noise and chaos in our worlds. Often it causes an unsettling of the mind.

Whatever has your mind rattled, I want to encourage you today, wait on God. The job, that family problem, or whatever has you mentally exhausted. Trust that God will supply every need you have.

Keep in mind, worrying is only a tact used to minimize your faith. Release the doubtful thoughts, and combat them with the truth, scripture. As cliche as it may sound to you, the truth does set you free (John 8:31-32KJV). It is this truth that reminds us we can't add to our lives by worrying (Matthew 6:27 KJV). But worry can, and so often does, deduct a lot from us: peace, joy, gratitude, and time all become lost in the moments of worry. I don't know what has your mind blocked, attempting to steal from you, or even take you down.

But I come to remind you that Jesus said He comes that you may have life and more abundantly (John10:10KJV). That vicious mental cycle you are going through is not always a sign that you have something mentally wrong that you need medication for. Medication doesn't settle minds without the aid of the Holy Spirit. That's why some people don't benefit from it. This is not to say medication is wrong or seeking help is wrong. It is to say not everyone needs the methods of medication, some people direly need honesty. Some people need faith in the truth of God.

So, on this Friday, go on a journey of choosing your thoughts. I know it's easier said than done. And if you are wondering where to begin, start with scripture. Take your time reading and reciting them. Then, write a note of what the scripture means, how it made you feel, or what truth you learned. If you are unsure of what scriptures to begin with, have no fear, keep reading.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. -1 Peter 5:7KJV

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; -2 Corinthians 10:5KJV

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy, -James 3:17KJV

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. -James 4:8KJV

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. -Hebrews 13:6KJV

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. -Hebrews 13:8KJV

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. -Philippians 4:7KJV

Know that you are loved! You serve a purpose! Anything not rooted in the truth of Christ is a lie from Satan. Use the Word to command him to get back off of you! I hope the peace, love, and joy of the Lord reach you today and always.🕊️💕

Sunday blessings, friends! How can I pray for you this week? 🙏💗 Am I the only one who struggles with patience? I try to remember the big picture and end game. I try to tell myself everything will work out in the end. But still, I struggle to be patient. Every day. Sometimes it’s little things like being caught in traffic and long lines. Other times it’s those unanswered prayers that can start to seem hopeless all too easily. We’re all familiar with the expression, “God’s timing is perfect.” But have you ever looked back on a struggle that you’ve been through and noticed a series of coincidences? A perfect alignment of seemingly unrelated things that all came together for your good or the good of others? Remembering the promises God has already delivered helps with patience. Remembering to focus on the present, trying to find your center and make the best of the immediate tasks before us helps with patience. But what really helps is to remember that God is orchestrating all the moving pieces of your life along with all the moving pieces of your family, your neighbors, and total strangers around the world to bring as many souls as possible into the paradise of his eternal kingdom. Because in the end, the things that test our patience are really tests of faith.
