Day 3: August 17 - weatherbug
Sunrise: 0628 MDT
Sunset: /
Morning
Time: 0948MDT/ 1538Z
General Observations: Surprised to still see the dew point that low. The relative humidity still shocks me over here.
My Prediction for Today: little to no rain because why would it rain here. Hilary could bring in rain late next week. However the Cc clouds from yesterday morning could bring a little rain today.
Current Conditions at: 1000MDT
Wind: NNW 4 MPH
Relative Humidity: 35%
Dew Point: 48F / 8.888
Temperature: 79F / 26.111C
Forecast Accuracy: It did rain, but a drizzle around 18:21 MDT.
Day 3: August 17 - NWS
Sunrise: 0630 MDT
Sunset: 1949 MDT
Evening
Time: 22:29MDT
General Observations: Earlier in the week I thought that Sunday would be too windy for any flights. Another observation I have made during my time here is how the sunset is consistently later no. In July it set after 20:00MDT. Looking ahead to early September, the sun is said to leave the sky around 19:00MDT yet still rise at the same time. The sunset changes per one minute every day (during certain months) or about 30 minutes a month
My Prediction for Today: (when I woke up to crew) I thought it seemed windy!
Current Conditions at: 10:00MDT
Wind: SE 23 MPH Gusts 32MPH
Relative Humidity: 26%
Dew Point: 44F

Mix of Clouds and Sun, Highs in 70s Prior to Weekend Warmup – NBC Boston
Mix of Clouds and Sun, Highs in 70s Prior to Weekend Warmup – NBC Boston
While the weekend sizzles, the prelude to the weekend is almost a carbon copy of yesterday.
A departing weather system offshore will impart *just* enough unstable air to sprout a random shower in the afternoon. Highs again will hold in the 70s for most, around 80 several miles inland from the coast.
Warmer air floods New England for the weekend. Highs leap to the low 90s in the hottest spots…
